I just want to note that you should probably incur a cost every time you cancel a technique with these 'X' to 'Y' techs. As typically doing this as they're being cast would cost each time, I don't think setting a zone should let you circumvent that cost.

I think the base ability is fine, but its a little hard to tell because of how you have it designed. So I'm going to 1/2 this but just want to note that you might run into some balancing issues in the future depending on how you do the spirits and all that. SO be forewarned.
