[Graded]The Return of Kumo's Jokester

Post by Zasadel » Sun Jul 13, 2014 11:03 pm

Hayasu lazily walked back into his Village, a long time having passed due to heavy extensive training assigned by his friend and mentor, Hayate. He chewed on the end of a straw of wheat, reflecting on the time he missed at his village. Seven long years had past since his last visit to Kumo, Seven very long, very lonely years. Kureiji, his companion and best friend was with him, but without any other action all he could do was spend his time with him and under training as an official Ninja companion. Kureiji was far too big to sit on his head anymore, having grown to almost three feet tall himself.

That didn't stop him from trying however, and from riding on Hayasu's back out of laziness rather then protection now. A few villagers walked past, gossiping and whispering before seeing Hayasu. Nobody recognized him, mostly do to the fact he was pretty much an adult now. "Hmm...guess it really has been far too long..." he said softly, but smirking after. Oh he would make sure they would remember him, he swore to himself after read Hayate's letter that he would do whatever it took to bring peace back to Kumogakure. He stood now almost a foot taller, with about an additional 25 lb's of muscle mixed in. His shiney white hair and striking blue eyes gave him a much more serious and profound look from his prankster days. Oh what he would do to relive those. He laughed at the thought, passing a few homes and a couple of shops. He recalled a few various pranks at one of them, usually in the form of some lame magic trick with ninjutsu to harass bullies or entertain the customers. It varied if the owners liked it or not. He kept his pace up, staring into the clouds until he got closer to what was once a pretty big part of town.

As he approached, one of the few times in Hayasu's life, he actually frowned. He made a quick seal and hopped onto the roof, darting up it with ease until he reached the top, Kureiji causing a ruckus at the sudden disturbance. What he saw almost brought him to his knees. One of the tallest Kumo peaks was in ruins, several buildings were now missing, and he knew just how bad things were. He sighed, leaning on a small antennae as he collected himself. What a mess. Immediate guilt overcame him. Hayate could of used him. He could of helped some how, done something. Saved a few villagers, assist in the assault, hell he would of even helped Hayate if he could. But there was nothing he could do at the moment, so reluctantly he hopped down and continued forward. He revised his several plans in his head. The training hadn't been for naught after all. He worked very very hard over the last seven years. He pushed himself to the very limit, every day, all day.

He built muscle, hunted his own food, re-conned for days at a time. Kureiji was no different, having worked his little monkey ass off to assist Hayasu as best as he could. A lazy yawn murred from his shoulder, as Kureiji tugged on his ear. "Ow you little bastard! You haven't done anything but sit on my back the entire way. Don't act like you're the tired one." he growled, Kureiji letting out a huff and proceeding to torture him comically. They got into a small struggle on the street, soon turning into a comical brawl between them, complete with insults, yelped, scratching, and even minor ninjutsu in their own little brawl.

It was fortunate nobody was around, as the embarrassment he would of suffered if Hayate or someone he knew saw. A few minutes later, Kureiji was slung over his shoulder pissed as can be as he was tied up with some wire. "You had this coming since you ate last weeks final meal all to yourself." he smirked, Kureiji glaring at him. Oh how the times had changed...But it was no matter. He continued to drift down memory lane, the several close calls him and Kureiji had, what friends he was starting to make at the academy, the villagers he helped. It was a certain trip, and he had one thing on his mind; Becoming a Chuunin and as strong as he possibly could.

Shortly after arrivial and re-touring Kumo, he decided it was time to revisit Hayate. He was sure from the events transpired, he most certainly had hobbled himself away from people that weren't important, and he intended to find out where. He released Kureiji and bought him a snack. "Now, you little jackass, go find Hayate and let him know we're finally back if he'd like to meet." he explained, Kureiji quickly forgetting the scuffle as he chowed down on the munchies. Giving a salute, he grabbed a scroll that Hayasu had written and sent him on his way.. Once Kureiji had disappeared out of site, he returned to the training grounds to check on the latest batch of fresh Genin. He hopped up to the second level and looked over the training area, remembering the first day he met Hayate and his old friend, whom he hadn't spoken to in so very very long. He sighed and closed his eyes, listening to the training exercises, casts of ninjutsu, and shouts of battle.

It was oddly relaxing, but he never dropped his guard. Especially once a renegade Kunai darted at his head, to which he grabbed at the last second, opening an eye. An embarrassed academy student flailed around, to which Hayasu laughed. "No worries kiddo, be careful though aye?" he smiled, tossing the Kunai at his feet. He could remember when he was like that, still learning how to be a ninja...but it wasn't about skill. No. It was about honoring the one thing that mattered; his village, his friends, and those he swore he would forever serve. It was always about Kumogakure.
