Black Storms: Reflection [Social/Training]

Post by Zasadel » Fri Jun 05, 2015 2:29 pm

Hayasu reflected upon a pool of water, deep on the outskirts of Kumogakure. The last time he sat in such a spot, one of his best friends and often or not sensei was with him. He was a Genin then, a prankster, a joker, lighthearted and full of laughs. He still was, deep down, but the war had hardened him. Why was he back here? His sensei was now a Missing-Nin and enemy of the country. There was no purpose for him to be here without him..unless it wasn't about the present. He needed to get stronger. He had to be a faster shinobi, someone with power and strength to fend off his enemies and help Kumo in it's war.

"What do you think Kureiji?" he asked his friend, fiddling with him a little as he climbed all around the nearby area, sniffing around nosily. He whooped and danced around a little, making various impractical moves that made Hayasu chuckled "Clearly, that'll give me what I need. Thanks." he retorted , Kureiji whooping and giving him a thumbs up. Hayasu stood and thought, messing with a bit of Raiton chakra in his hand and touching the pond, watching it dissipate along the water. He wasn't too far from his training alone, it seemed almost ironic he was back away from civilization for a bit.

He was feeling lackluster about his strength..this needed to change. It was a chilly day, and the cold would help him to keep relaxed and not overburden himself. Hayasu undressed himself and moved to stand on the rock that he sat upon, jumping into the icy waters and looked up where he was, the cool mountain water washed over him and helped cool him down. He closed his eyes and kept himself still, making sure his heartrate was as slow as possible while he moved deep into thought, moving back to times and days long before the horrors of war.

With Kushina succumbing to illness and passing, Hayate had made quite possibly the hardest decision of his life. He had decided to depart from Kumogakure, something he needed in order to train himself and grow. He'd be traveling the Lightning Country and doing a long term mission gathering reconnaissance that he had begged for.

He needed time to travel- to clear his thoughts. He needed a few years to be lost. He would of done it alone too.

But instead, at the gates of the village, he grinned at his genin student. He had taken this boy on as his sole disciple and this boy would travel the lightning country with him for the next few years on this extended mission, acting as assistant. It meant the chance for an extremely gifted shinobi to train a youth and hopefully pass some talent on.

The kid was kind of thick sometimes, but he had a good heart and good hands. He showed promise. Despite being 10 years his elder, they had formed a bond similar to best friends and that, of all things, was what Hayate needed in his darkest moment.

Smiling he nodded at the boy, tipping him off it was time to depart. Less than half a mile away from the village, he'd drop his bags and gear however, as he turned to face the boy.

"I'd like to assess how far you've come since we met, Hayasu."

His golden scarf fluttered in the wind and his pristine white clothes provided a stark contrast amongst the rocky grey earth on which they stood.

He dropped into a stance.

Hayasu and Kureiji had been humming along amused, glad to be leaving on one o their many adventures when suddenly he noticed Hayate had stopped. That was odd. "Hayate-sama is everything okay?" he asked, curiously looking over. The moment that Hayate spoke however, changed the way his day was apparently going to go.

Hayasu froze, eyes widening as he looked over at Hayate. "What the hell?!" he spoke, clearly caught off guard by Hayate's words. "Uhh...if....you insist..." he said a bit confused. There was no way in hell he would stand a chance against Hayate, but he was wiling to try. He took a stance opposite of Hayate and nodded, an eerily calm washing over him. Kureiji jumped off and ran like a bat out of hell to the nearest tree, whooping and cheering on...Hayate?! The nerveon that shitheaded monkey!

Without hesitation he immediately threw a punch, jumping forward with all of his weight in hope to even come close to hitting his friend. He wasn't sure just how far he needed to go and push himself, but he was certain that it was to be a lot. As soon as he threw the punch, he started looking for any form of gap he could possible do to get into his master's defenses.

As the two readied to begin, Hayate quickly went through his head and assessed what kind of move he would use. For starters, his student likely had a level of taijutsu that average for a genin. Physically, he'd be average too. This meant Hayate's move had to be relatively simple and that he could not strike with a move that was too complex for a genin to handle. This meant he would have to use basic strikes. With that in mind, he began to devise a kind of attack which he could use at a weak strength and speed in order to knock down Hayasu and test how Hayasu would handle something of that sort.

In order to do that, he'd have to first close the gap between him and Hayasu, which meant his move needed to start with a lunge or dash. This was good though, because a lunge or dash created more momentum and allowed you to deliver that momentum upon impact.

Next, he needed to decide how he would strike. If he struck wide it left his own body open. That would not be an adequate. A punch or kick left a body part that could be grappled or easily abused. So, with that out of the way, Hayate dropped his shoulder. He decided he would body check his Hayasu using his shoulder. It was a move that kept his balance well centered and a move that created a good amount of force capable of knocking his opponent to the ground.

Next, he had to decide where to strike. Striking at the legs would certainly knock someone down, but he needed to create an opening and a lasting impact. Somewhere that he could really do damage if he wanted, and if he couldn't, he could wind and knock them over.

That made his choice easy. The sternum.

Hayate would use a level of strength that would nearly knock the boy down, nothing more. He didn't need to injure him, he just wanted to see his reaction.

"Alrighty then. Let's see how you handle in taijutsu."

When they began the boy threw a punch. Hayate, ducked the punch and lowered his shoulder instead. With this motion, he used the momentum in his lower legs to propel himself up and forward, lunging towards the boys chest. Upon arrival he'd throw his shoulder at the boy hard with enough impact to just barely knock him off his feet hopefully, if he didn't do anything to defend himself.

As soon as he threw the punch, immediate regret hitting him. He definitely shouldn't of made the first move, that was a rookie mistake with someone with far superior ability. It was too late to cry over spilled milk however.

Hayasu figured that Hayate would dodge with no effort, and the moment he saw Hayate duck, he groaned inside. Hayasu could feel the shoulder shove into his chest, he immediately did the only unorthodox thing he could; grapple.

As soon as he was launched into the air, he immediately slung his arm over Hayate's shoulder and latched on to as many limbs of Hayate's as he could. His legs wrapped over Hayate's and his free hand tried to lock Hayate's arm at the joint. This was an attempt to minimize the damage, though it still left him pretty vulnerable.

Only one thing crossed Hayasu's mind; survival. The best method for this was to use his smaller stature and out maneuver the shinobi.

He reared his head back and lunged it forward, trying for a headbutt if his limbs could keep him clung to Hayate like such.

A million thoughts began to flow through Hayasu's mind. Would he manage to somehow beat him? Lay a hit even? This fight could go so many ways.

Hayate collided with the boy, taking him off his feet as he pushed forward. The boy aimed a headbutt for him though, and struck. Of course this did not actually hurt Hayate, granted he had a large amount of strength over the boy, but he had to work with him. The boy was doing his best to latch onto Hayate's limbs and take him down. If the scales weren't so tipped, his desperate attempts wouldn't be so bad. Making a mental nod Hayate broke free of the boy. He had good instincts. He'd use a punch next.

Doubling back, he dropped himself back to a genin level before lunging forward again. This time, his move would be a punch. He'd test the kids reflexes to see if he could dodge, and what the kid wouldn't know, is he'd test it twice. What kind of move would he use? He'd gap close again, then strike from above. Blocking an attack from above was harder, generally, since your opponents weight was coming down on you. It made a nice mix of "oh fuck" on the receiving end.

The goal, was that he'd kick his leg out too forming a counter weight, while punching down with one fist in an arc. This transfered his momentum and built some extra power. This extra power than transferred into a harder and better hit. At the same time this was going on his weight came down with him, since he was striking from above, meaning yet another advantage an added power to his punch.

TO reiterate he'd have to keep this at D-Rank Levelbut boy would it be strong.

He built power in his lower leg. He then lunged forward. It was a springing motion, and, if things went as planned, he'd transfer his motion into his upper body. As he kicked he also through his arm into the arc, bringing it down. He could feel his muscles flexing, and along with gravity, his strike kicking in. He'd come down on the boy if the boy didn't act, immediately landing with his force and smacking the ground.

The strike, if successful, would knock the kid down and back a bit, creating an opening. And additionally, if Hayasu did not dodge and instead blocked, he would get to see just how strong this child was and what he could endure.

It seemed harsh, but that was what Hayate was known for as a teacher. Pushing his students, breaking them down, and building them back up again.

413/400 for Leapunch.

Pleased that at the very least his headbutt had hit, he was discouraged to see it didn't mean a damned thing. The fact that Hayate shrugged it off gave a chilling reminder on their diifferences in strength. Uh oh. He could feel Hayate break out and watched him push back, immediately taking a defensive stance in preperation for his sensei's next assault. Hayate was definitely not dicking around, this was a serious sparing match. Before he could strategize what to do next, he saw Hayate leap towards him. What move was he to use? Hayasu knew there was no logical way he would be able to outrun or overpower Hayate, so he had to think of something, anything!

As Hayate closed the gap, Hayasu prepared to sidestep immediately, not wanting to risk breaking his arm by trying to guard the attack. My timing has to be perfect, or I'm screwed. Hayasu thought, before figuring out what he could do. He could see that Hayate was using the momentum, weight, and gravity to his advantage..but what if he could use it against him? This would take very careful timing, else he'd lose horribly, but he knew his sensei would expect nothing less then whatever it took to get the job done. Confident in his newly formed plan, he

Once Hayate was inches from hitting Hayasu, he barely sidestepped at the absolute last second before lowering his arm down to his knee, pushing it up with as much force as he could must with a roar of pride. The uppercut typically wouldn't do a damn thing, but with Hayate confident in his own momentum, it would work against him. Every muscle on the right side of his body flexed and propelled his uppercut, if this would hit, it would for sure at least do something. Before he felt a blow connect however, the very air next to Hayasu burst a bit from the force, and he felt his arm get grazed pretty bad. He winced a bit at the pain but had already thrown his punch, needing to rely on the famed words "no pain, no gain."

Hayate's eyes opened up as he followed through with his strike. The kid dodged his hit, just hardly, and threw an uppercut. He aimed to use Hayate's own momentum against himself, and had they been actually similar in strength it probably would of worked. Unfortunately Hayate was a Jounin and the actual strength difference was too different. It hit Hayate square in the chest, but he didn't let it stop him. It seemed he'd need to up his attacks. And so, phase two of his strike began.

His next move needed to be fast and fluid- not fast as in his physical power and his own abilities, but fast in the action being simple and quick to perform. So he got to thinking. The first thing was he would have to drop down to his crouch. If his punch was successful, it would of left him in this space, but it was not. So instead, he had to jump back. And get into the right form. SO the plan was simple. Starting from a low position, he would leap up. Something like pushing forward with the strength in his legs or something like that, then rotating his core to create a lot of torque. Something like that, right. After doing that, he would push up and knock his fist into the boy. And this time, he'd do it with a lot more force and speed. Enough that Hayasu would not be able to dodge. And so, he began. Chuunin strength, about 5. Chuunin speed, about 5. He had put it up another level and at this level, it would be something strong and something that would hurt.

SO, in his crouched position, leaning back onto his leg, he built up strength into it then sprung up into the air. His lunge had a great deal of power behind it. As he did this he focused greatly on his core. As he focused on his core he then rotated his body creating a high amount of torque while simultaneously moving his fist up. It was aimed at Hayasu's chin this time and Hayate was hoping to throw him up into the air with the force advantage alone. It was important to send him up into the air because his next move would be based on an aerial advantage.

Meanwhile, Hayate readied a very loud scream targeted right at the boy. He looked into his eyes as his fist would meet his chin, yelling.

"DODGE"

409/400 for uppercut.

As the fist connected, Hayasu felt it glance off and did almost nothing to the Jounin. Damn! Hayasu was sure that would of done at least something to his sensei! But deep down he knew he was totally outclassed in every aspect whatsoever. He sat Hayate crouch and grimaced in horror. Payback was more certainly a bitch. Before he even felt the blow connect he knew what was coming, and there was no chance of him stopping this one. He was wide open for this hit, and he grit his teeth in preparation.

The only thing Hayasu remembered after that was the echoing words of "DOOOOODGE" in his mind as he was knocked several feet into the air and back a few meters until he crashed into the dirty. Yeah, as if that was going to be dodgeable. After shaking off the rather nasty hit, he spat out a mouth full of blood and wiped his mouth, grinning. Now that was more like it! The excitement of the battle itself started to overpower his fear. Why be afraid? His sensei was testing him. To fear failure was to accept the fact there was a chance. Hayasu preferred the opposite. Failure was part of life, it was doing his damnedest that spoke to him the most.

He stretched out his jaw a bit, feeling it stiff and sore, but not broken. That was good news at least. He leapt to his feet and chuckled at his sensei, taking another defensive stance. "I was wondering why you were holding back. This wasn't training, this is a test. You can kick my ass all around here or kill me in an instant if you wanted to Hayate-sama, but don't you dare hold back to my level. I don't get better by fighting an equal, I get better by learning from mistakes!" He spoke out, starting to bounce a bit to get his blood going. It was time to give it his all.

Hayasu immediately sprinted forward, renewed with energy and vigor straight at his Sensei. "TAAAKE THIS! Hayasu roared, unleashing a flurry of blows. Left punch, right bunch, left knee, spinning kick, the ferocity in his blows spoke a tale; his heart was now in this fight. His sensei obviously dodged, parried, and blocked all of it, but he kept trying with everything he had. Memories flowed into him, ironically enough a dream within a dream as he recalled every blow, every maneuver of this fight. His later self analyzed every moment of every move, learning and adapting. What worked? What didn't? This was a good move, this was an awful one. His breakdown of his failures let him grow and develop himself. He recalled this fight particular because it taught him one thing; no matter how strong, how fast, how powerful of a shinobi he grew to become, there was always going to be someone who would kick the absolute hell out of you. That was how you grew, and that was a life lesson Hayasu never forgot.

The boy took the beating well. By this point, Hayate had already assessed his combat aptitude and his potential to make decisions. They weren't the greatest, but he had some thought, and more than thought, sharp instincts. As he spoke of learning from his mistakes, Hayate once more confirmed he had the right mindset to grow too. And then he dropped, and prepared to come at Hayate.

Hayate unfortunately was going to once more raise the force of his attacks. He decided he would be doing a slide, but he would need to think of which way. He was now testing something new. He was testing the boys endurance. He was testing when he'd break. It sounded extreme, but for the level of training Hayate hoped to do with the boy, they would be going beyond breakin points and he needed to know where the boys was.

Hayate was going to be a little cruel here, on the next one. Oh boy would he ever. As the boy ran at him, he ran at him too. His next move was going to hurt. It would involve taking the boy down in a very fun and stylish way- a tackle. No, not the run and jump at someone. A sliding tackle. A footballers tackle. While running he'd drop to the ground. And when he dropped to the ground, he'd slide at his legs. And when he finished that he'd come back up and perhaps attack HAyasu again. Either way, he was going to push the boys limit to the max.

"Here we go."

Hayate took off faster- chuunin speed for sure. And, when Hayasu raised and posed himself to strike, Hayate threw his body at the ground. He slid. He slid hard and fast right into Hayasu's legs, his mass easily capable of probably knocking the kid clean into the air. And as he did so, he yelled.

"DODGE!" once more.

This kid would remember those words. He'd put it into his skull and drive it home. When he finished the slide, he himself would exercise some agility and practice the end of his move, a sommersault that brought him back up onto his feet. And with that, he'd put himself into a stance ready to strike again, if the kid still had it in him.

Hayate would be sure he would. And honestly, he'd possibly not fight further. He was getting a good guage of this kid's ability..

402/400 for Slide.

Hayasu kept his onslaught going until he retreated for a moment to assess what he'd done. Big mistake. His sensei did what his sensei does best; kick his student's ass. As soon as he took a moment to breathe, Hayasu saw him charge. Here he comes... he thought, bracing himself. He went to throw a punch to which Hayate had just ducked to take out his legs. A dodge? No, this was premeditated, he either expected Hayasu to punch or he had a different agenda. As son as he hit him the wind was knocked from Hayasu's lungs. He could see stars while he fumbled back into the air, wondering in his stupor if he should just become a ninja in the sky from how often he was now in the air. Whatever the hell that meant.

Hayasu shook it off mid flight and curled up, spinning before landing semi gracefully and wobbly, clearly knocked fairly senseless by his landing. He attempted to shake it off, regaining his focus as he watched his sensei, anticipating another attack. What was he going to do this time? Hayasu's mind started to analyze his opponent, trying to see an opening or if he could do anything. Reality set in again; no matter how many times Hayasu wanted to see something, he was simply just too inexperienced to do more then he was already doing.

Deciding that waiting was a signal for an earlier defeat in this case, Hayasu decided to test something. Instead of charging, defending, or doing some variant of either, he looked at Kureiji and an idea struck. Soon, his guard dropped an extremely lazy yawn escaped his lips. He pretended to snore and scratch his nether regions, almost like he no longer cared about the fight. It was certainly a new change of pace, one he hoped he could catch his sensei off guard. He soon sprawled out, leaning on one arm and snoring loudly.

Hayate was a tad bit confused at his students new display. He tilted his head. Was he... bored? How could he be bored? He hadn't even learned to dodge yet. Dodging was such an important lesson. Like all good teachers this meant Hayate would have to come up with a new idea. And since this kid was scratching his nuts and just fooling about, he had time.

I'm feeling kind of punchy. No. I feel like doing things like a classic expedition captian, yanno?

Both fists locked, sledging down into someone as they hit the ground.

He paused.

I guess, I'd get close, hop, then just come down, sort of like a dunk? It's a simple move and I've been already over thinking and theorizing stuff.

He stood still. Just what was this kid doing?

Hayasu was clearly not budging, still laying lazily in front of his sensei. Even Kureiji at this point gave a confused and puzzled look. What on Earth was Hayasu doing?! Soon, a rather comical snot bubble escaped his nose, showing he was in fact asleep. He fell over and slumped into the dirt, not a single movement wasted as he waited for his sensei.

Would he take the bait? Play it smart and zap him? No, his sensei had his own agenda, this much he was sure of. By now if he wanted to hit Hayasu with Ninjutsu he would of. This was definitely a change of pace, forcing his sensei to come to him instead of the other way around.

His ears perked a bit, listening closely to his teacher's movements. He hadn't budged yet, and hadn't done anything, to which Hayasu attributed this to his confusion. Hayasu had gotten the idea over time to change his style up. What he did was far too basic. He was predictable, readable; anyone whom had fought a Kumogakure Genin would know how Hayasu would fight. He needed to evolve, to grow, to make his own signature styles and tactics. If there was one thing he did learn from Kureiji in their adventures, it was that Monkeys were often unpredictable. They were wild, primal, and tricky. These were things that in a battle could tip the tide in his favor immensely.

Hayate began to think about the best way to get this kid to dodge, especially if he was just scratching his balls and lollygagging. It seemed his old idea was still the best. A doublefisted hammer down on top him. That would teach him to dodge. And so, this time, dropping his speed/strength just a bit under chuunin, but higher than genin and hayasu still, he ran forward.

His target wasn't airborne, but, Hayate had a height advantage on him anyways. Leaping up in the air he locked both fists. He could feel the wind rushing through his hair and by him as he flew at the boy. Oh yes, yes he could. And then, when he reached near him, he brought both fists down in an attempt to knock the boy to the ground. It was a tremendous overhead slam and he had no worries it'd achieve the effect he was looking for.

As he went for the strike, he yelled, "Dodge!", not really helpful given it was right as he impacted.

Hayasu heard his sensei run and prep another attack. Clearly his sensei was still holding back if Hayasu could hear him, but he could tell it was still well behind his normal ability to fight him off. That precise reason is why he was no longer intending to fight normally. As soon as he could feel his sensei leap up to aim an attack, he immediately spun off of the ground and let it hit up. The exception to this was how he let the hit land. A hit was designed to inflict blunt damage into an opponents body. But redirecting how it hit you, tensing the right muscles, and rolling into it weakened the effect. It was similar to what Drunken Fist users used, only improved and oddly enough based off of a monkey.

Hayasu rolled into the hit and flexed his muscles where the hit was to land, feeling it glance off of him. He sprang backwards and threw a "tantrum" as if Kureiji hadn't gotten a treat or something he wanted. His smacked his open palms on the ground then leapt forward and angled a double knee to Hayate's head, howling and whooping like a mad beast. He had no freaking clue what possessed him to try this, but desperate times called for desperate measures. His idea was to be as unpredictable as possible and not let his sensei read his moves. The issue with this was that he didn't quite know his own moves yet either, and merely went with the flow.

Hayate smacked his arms into the ground full speed. Hayasu had finally dodged, sort of? The impact hadn't felt full, and it didn't feel like he had hit him.

Further more, he was now moving sporadically and in a way Hayate hadn't expected. He'd changed over the course of the fight. He'd be come something Hayate was proud of.

He'd become a man who nurtured his own style. His knee came flying at Hayate in a move that Hayate could only describe as sugoi, and, acting quick, Hayate caught his knee.

This was the last scenairo he would test. How the boy would react to a strike like this. Having grabbed the boys knee midstrike and intercepted, he threw the boy down with force towards the ground, bringing both hands again above his head into a hammer and smashing downward.

"Dodge!"

Black Storms: Reflection [Social/Training]

Hayasu had felt his sensei catch his knees, and promptly slam him down afterword. He felt the impact rocket through his body, causing a slight grunt in pain. Before he could try and recover he saw his sensei's fists raining down upon him. He did the only thing he could do and try to intercept them. He sprung up and used his entire body to push against the hit, feeling the impact shake him to his very core. He yelled in pain but managed to stay upwright, his hands pushed up against his master's in defiance. He felt his hands shaking, quickly becoming overpowered.

Hayasu didn't last even a few more seconds before he was put to his knee, his teeth gritted as he stared courageously at his sensei. "I...Will...Not....GIVE...IN!" he yelled as he pushed as hard as he could once more. It wasn't enough to push the blow off of him, but it allowed him to rise up. He couldn't even aim a counter attack, let alone defend himself if Hayate used another attack, but at least he could keep them at a stalemate for a moment. Kureiji, in the meanwhile, was staring oddly quietly at the duo. It was certainly a pivotal moment for Hayasu, a result of all the training and endurance he'd gained over this adventures.

Black Storms: Reflection [Social/Training]

The kid was proving to be resilient. Hayate had initially attributed this to a high level of stamina, but, as the fight went on he learned it wasn't his stamina that was keeping him in the fight. It was his strength. He was able to minimize incoming damage because he was strong for a genin, and it was his minimization of damage that was keeping him up, not a keen or insane level of endurance. He had to hand it to the kid. Well done.

But that was fine an dandy that he was strong and could take some hits. He still wasn't fast and still wasn't dodging Hayate's moves yet. He had pulled his punches and speeds a bit too much on his last few attacks and now he wouldn't be able to hold back.

He grinned wildly as he lept back, plotting his next attack.

He was going to use a strike pattern that focused on advanced footwork. This footwork made use of high speeds and a good sense of space, and resolved around hayate "striking through" his opponent. The end result would be a pattern of movement that was sporadic, and danced around the front and back of his opponent keeping them on their toes and ultimately confusing them.

He theorized that to some opponents, when performing this at high speed, he'd seem like nothing more then a blur as their eyes got confused and had difficulty tracking his movements. IN reality he would simply be rotating around them or moving his body fast them, but hey, with high speed, everything was easier.

So with a start up, he lunged back into the frey and at Hayasu. He made note of his surroundings, their space, and his opponent space, and, rushing forward full speed, he threw a simple punch at Hayasu's open side, lunging into it and past him. Following the punch he would put himself in a postion where he was behind Hayasu, and could leap forward again, striking through once more. And that's exactly what he did.

He was leaping through and forth in a flurry around Hayasu that tested his speed. Would he be fast enough to grapple a chuunin level Hayate?

Who knew.

He continued to manage his footwork very carefully as he hopped around flying by and through the boy, smacking him with a little more strength on each trip. And as he did it, he yelled.

"DODGE"

What a wonderful sensei.

Hayasu kept his stance up until Hayate leaped back, Hayasu also moving out of range and panting. There was no way he got away with this that easily; Hayate had to have something planned. He thought about using Jutsu, but he needed to save the chakra in case Hayate used ninjutsu as well. The last thing he wanted to do was being out of breath, out of chakra, and having to deal with Hayate's attacks on both fronts. That was certain and utter defeat, something that Hayasu blatantly refused to let happen if he could avoid it.

As soon as Hayate pursued his next attack, Hayasu was ready for it. Though completely fatigued and out of anything useful to do, he had to keep going. If he didn't push his limits and give it his absolute all, Hayate would just punish him with some ridiculous task that was designed to degrade Hayasu until he could pass his sensei's tests. When Hayate got within range, Hayasu went to block, but noticed the blur and immediate hit the moment he tried to track the movement. He didn't even notice the hit that hit his side until he felt the pain, stumbling a few feet away.

Before he could recover Hayate was already launching another flurry of blows. This was hell. Hayasu spent the next few precious moments attempting to block, or tank the hits, but Hayate was far too fast for him. He had to change tactics, and as soon as he got a moment he resumed the style he was developing. He crouched low and kept a loose stance, with Hayate's next assault blasting at him he rolled around the hits, bobbing ,weaving, dodging in random patterns. Every time Hayate threw a hit, Hayasu attempted to have an answer. He'd roll, do hand springs into parrying kicks, and generally keep moving the entire time. Occasionally, he'd still take a few nasty hits, but a few nasty hits were a lot better then getting the shit kicked out of him.

Black Storms: Reflection [Social/Training]

Hayate had been dashing around this kid delivering a flurry of blows, and fortunately for him, the child had no chance of returning any attacks. It seemed his strategy and move of utilizing footwork and speed to confuse his opponent had worked. But, the boy had begun to do things differently once more. His body bobbed around and weaved. It dodged all over. He was becoming less guessable and... seemingly more like a monkey. Hayate had put it together over the past minutes... this child was conceiving a new style. And it was working for him.

So, Hayate, smiling decided he too would unleash something new to his student. A new style that his student would be seeing a lot of in the coming days. His aura. He had slaved away in his time before leaving the village to use his unique tenketsu, and ultimately, this is what had become of it.

Hayate exuded his will forth, a dazzling blue explosion of raw energy released as his body suddenly transformed, being covered in a coat of of blue chakra. It looked almost like clothing, and covered his body, extra arms extending outward from it.

He grinned as suddenly one of the arms flung forward for the boy. He was going to utilize a new move.

Hayasu had been busy dodging, weaving, and managing to survive his sensei's onslaught. So far, so good. If i can keep this up maybe he'll stop and let me rest or continue. Random training definitely sucked. Hayasu thought, dodging a few more combo attacks. His sensei broke off from their exchange of blows, much to Hayasu's relief. He was hoping that he was right after all, buuut that all changed the moment his sensei started to GLOW!? As soon as his sensei had started, Hayasu knew there wasn't going to be anything he was going to be able to do to stop what was to come next.

Far too tired at that point to be putting up a further fight as a Genin, he simply did his best to guard whatever was to come. What he didn't expect was a massive claw flung for them, snatching him. He wrestled and did his best to break free but it was clear he didn't have enough strength in him to fend this kind of an attack off. That didn't stop him from trying however, as he tried to push out of the gripped hand, not in any pain, but hating the restraint.

Hayate felt his hand from his aura reach forward and stretch out. It was a strange sensation, lacking the feeling he was used too, but having the movement and similarity to his own hand. Using it was wierd, and training and coming up with combat methods for it was proving to be interesting as-well. As his hand reached out for the boy, he could feel it close in on him ever so slightly. When it wrapped around him, he could feel the weight on that arm suddenly shift, and he needed to exert force to lift the boy up.

Lifting him high into the air and over his head, he had to decide what to do.

"You did not dodge that Hayasu." He said, with a hint of disappointment. He had to figure out what he'd do next, and he had an idea. He'd use genin power to do it, but he'd fling/throw the boy off and towards the ground. Sometimes in combat you had to reposition yourself or do something in order to help make yourself not wind up as mince meat. This was a chance for him to try that.

And so, he flung the genin out and towards the ground.

"Dodge."

As Hayasu was lifted he looked down at his sensei. He kept screaming dodge, yet he had been doing that as best as he could. It wasn't his fault that he couldn't be faster! As soon as he was flung Hayasu had let his sensei spring his trap. A small boulder, about Hayasu's size and weight was in the hand. He had used a substitution!

From behind his Sensei he sprinted forward, fully sprint, but enacted as monkey. As he kept low he performed the neccessary seals; if his teacher was going to use Chakra, so would he. "Raiton: Clone!" he exclaimed, multiple Hayasu's flooding his sensei at the same time. They all aimed straight at his sensei and roared a vicious battle cry, angling low to spear themselves straight at his sensei. It was a needless use of Chakra, but Hayasu was growing desperate.

The goal from here on out was to use everything he had until he couldn't move any longer. Even for a training match this was growing increasingly bad for Hayasu. He didn't have many more jutsu to try, and he was already exhausted physically. All he had left was what was left of his Chakra supply, and even that was dwindling on the account of his physical strains.

Jutsu usedShow
*[Raiton • Clone]
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After the user does the needed hand seals, a clone, lacking substance and the ability to interact with its environment, will form. These clones are destroyed after coming into contact with any physical object. As these clones have no free will, they are unable to do more than mimic the user's movements. However, unlike normal clones, these are filled with Raiton chakra. Whenever they disperse, they create a small blast of Raiton chakra in 1 meter in each direction causing slight shocks and numbness. The clone has the following stats:
Taijutsu: 1
Stamina: 1
Strength: 1
Speed: 1

*[Basic Jutsu • Change of Body Stance Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After completing the necessary handseals, the user is able to quickly substitute his/her body with a nearby object that is at least 2/3rds his/her size, but no bigger than their body. This substitution allows the object to take the force of the attack that was meant for the user, additionally allowing the user to create distance between him/her and the opponent. The object used in this jutsu may not be objects that are imbued with chakra or controlled by it, and they may also only be single, solid objects within a 20 yard radius of the user. This technique may only be used a total of one time in a single thread, give or take how many times Shunshin no Jutsu has already been used.

"Huh" Hayate said incredulously. He wasn't using his senses and had underestimated his student. He used a substitution. Well done. It was a move Hayate would not forget. And then his clone came spiraling forward towards Hayate. Since he knew it was a clone, he could use a different move on him this time. As the clone came near, Hayate put out his arm, rather, swiped his real arm forward. His aura suddenly extended out over his real arm, then out even further, as a claw swiped the incoming clone sending it into an electrical explosion at a safe distance for Hayate. His cloak then returned back as he stepped back.

He'd play defensive now, and see what Hayasu could do, if he could do anything. He was nearing his limits- Hayasu was charging him too. Turning around he punched out and extended his cloak again, farming a claw, but rather than strike him with the claw, he turned his hand so the knuckles would backhand him. He couldn't risk maiming his student on the first day of their extended mission now could he?

Following his strike he'd step back and pay defensively like he had originally planned. He wanted to make it less about dodging, as it was clear he had beaten that point home.

Watching his clone get launched away and detonate, Hayasu grit his teeth, determined to get at least one solid hit at his sensei. He predicted the claw coming back around, it made sense to him. As soon as the claw grew close, Hayasu jumped forward a bit and landed on all fours, lowering himself to the ground as low as he could and keeping his head down. He felt the rush of air and chakra lance across him safely, to which he continued his assault. He dove straight at his sensei and continued to assault him, howling like an idiot monkey he pretended to be.

He roared and unleashed another flurry of hits and blows, trying to deal as much damage as he could before he was plucked up like a spoiled child. He threw a left jab, right hook, left spinning kick, and then rolled onto his hands, aiming a flurry of upside down, albeit comical kicks at his sensei's torso. He didn't think it would do a damned thing against his Sensei, but at the very least he could keep trying.

One thing that Hayate had forgotten however, was at the end of the day Kureiji and Hayasu were always a team. The little monkey sped as fast as his little legs could, howling angrily and leaping toward Hayate's back, trying to climb onto Hayate's back as a distraction. They both knew Hayate would never seriously hurt them, but it was awfully brave of Kureiji to even attempt that, and it was more certainly the first time he ever got in the middle of a sparring match of this level.

Huh. He had just shown himself to be a decent strategist. His clone was a distraction, he had used it to anticipate Hayate's next move and dodge it, and, he had snuck his little monkey in to attack Hayate and create a distraction. He definitely had done pretty decently. On the other hand, as the monkey attempted to climb up Hayate's back a fist would sprout out the small of his back, grabbing for the monkey and aiming to hold it still within it's grasp.

And as for Hayasu. Well, Hayasu would be falling prey to the claw attack again and the iconic phrase of Hayate.

He'd swing his fist forward at the boy, then open his hand in a swiping motion. Within a split second of that motion, his chakra aura would extend off from him and mimic the motion, swiping at the boy. Again, he moved his hand in a back hand manner so the knuckles and back of the claw would smack the boy rather than the sharp bits. And as he did it, he looked to him and yelled.

"Dodge." with the smoothest, calmest, and most uncaring tone of voice. He wasn't training this boy to dodge in reality. He was training him to take a beating.

Hayasu was out of options by that point, and couldn't even begin to try and dodge the second attack. He saw white and stars, his body hurling into the side of a small mountain nearby. His vision tunneled, a bit of blood trickling down his head. He attempted to get up, but couldn't slumping back down. He didn't move a muscle, an eeiry calm eminating from him. Kureiji started to whine and howl, crying to try and check on his friend. Even Kureiji didn't have any idea of what Hayasu's final plan or intentions were.

What Hayate didn't know was that this was also anticipated. His last chance at an assault by catching his sensei off guard one final time. He made sure he slowed his breathing to near undetectable levels, his heart beat slowing as he became as still as stone itself. He wondered if Hayate would anticipate this strategy, or actually believe he managed to knock his prized student unconcious. Either way, he would wait to see what Hayate would do, and knew he was finally at his wit's end. His body had maybe enough energy for one more, solid hit, and that was all. After that he could feel he would no longer have any strength or the endurance to move. He was beaten, and was going to gamble it all on just one single hit of his sensei.

Hayate extinguished his cloak, turning around quickly to catch Kureiji, before letting him onto the ground so he could scamper over to Hayasu. He did not move though- no he did not falter. He was able to sense the boy's chakra very clearly. He was running on empty, but he knew the boy wasn't dead or anything.

"Good try, Hayasu. Get up." he said with an authoritative voice.

"If I was a fellow Genin, you'd of won. But hitting me and dodging wasn't the point. It was me testing your endurance." he said, and then, with a chuckle "I learned a few things along the way, and over all, I learned that you have the spirit that's worth teaching, Hayasu."

Hayasu groaned weakly. So much for a final surprise attack. "Y-You're an ass.." he said, slowly rising to his feet. His knees wobbled and he stumbled, but he limped over to his sensei with a grin. He heard what his sensei said and took it to heart, nodding. "I appreciate that sensei, however, you've been teaching me off an on for a while now. You didn't quite need to kick the shit out of me to figure that out I don't think." Hayasu said with a laugh, pain shooting throughout him as he did. Kureiji screamed like a baby and darted onto his perch, hugging Hayasu immensely as he flipped off Hayate. "Relax little guy, it's Hayate's job to break me down. It's so we can rebuild." he said confidently, giving one final thumbs up before falling forward for real, loud, actual snoring echoing off the mountain side. He was certainly beat.

Hayate slowly walked towards the boy, and by the time he reached him, he had collapsed. He had a smile on his face, and Hayate his. He was really sleeping, it was no trick. With a non-audible chuckle Hayate bent down, his aura reigniting. One hand reached out to carefully grab Hayasu and Kureiji, another helping cup them, before both arms moved forward in front of Hayate.

"You deserve the nap, kid." he whispered softly before taking off at full speed. He wanted to make their resting stop by nightfall and they'd do so faster this way, since Hayate didn't have to drop his speed to match Hayasu's.
