DescriptionShow Well where should one start when describing this close to perfect kunoichi? By glancing at Midori the first thing that stands out is her breathtaking hair. She has exceptionally long brown hair that is kept straight and allowed to flow all the way down to her lower back. It might not be the most appropriate hairstyle for her profession but she likes to look attractive and goes to great lengths to maintain her healthy looking mane. However, being primarily in the office these 'great lengths' are hardly if ever put to the test. If she was forced into a grubby situation, she would go above and beyond to keep her hair looking perfect. One peculiar trait about Midori that makes her stand out among the kunoichi in other villages are her shark-like teeth. Here teeth have been sharpened to create the effect. The reasoning behind the modification it to make one much more frightening to people in general. That doesn't exactly work when you look far too cute to be seen as a threat to people. The only time people are frightened by the young woman is when she is angry. That is a different story entirely! Midori's eyes are a pale brown and her skin is rather pale too, which is typical of a citizen of Kirigakure No Sato. Something not typical about her, is her perfectly unblemished body. There are few within the Kirigakure military that have been so lucky to maintain such flawlessness. The reasoning is a direct result of being away from conflict. There were a few minor ones that she earned on her way up the military ladder, but they were removed as she became more financially stable. One could say she is a bit of a beauty addict secretly wishing that she was more curvy. That isn't to say her body is unattractive. The truth being she is quite the sight to behold having a lithe yet athletic body. Clothing/AccessoriesShow Brown. That would be the singular word one would use to describe Midori’s everyday attire. Why brown exactly? Well she attempts to rationalize this decision with the fact that she could make use of the pattern in a vast amount of environments. In effect she would simply blend into her surrounding if she was ever forced to. The truth as to why she chose brown is that if her clothes get dirty everybody around would hardly be able to tell, thus she maintains the appearance of being flawless! Such a trivial reason when you really think about it. The shirt Midori wears is sleeveless and her pants are military style, both are obviously colored in a brown camouflage pattern. Next, she has a pair of brown leather gloves that stretch almost to her elbow. They are quite comfortable and protect her delicate hands from the tons of paperwork she is required to complete each day. Her Kirigakure forehead protector has brown fabric and is wrapped tightly around her right upper arm. Her left arm has a similar look, but instead of a forehead protector their is an insignia of a wolf patched upon the fabric. The last thing covered are her feet. She wears brown shinobi sandals! Additionally she also has a brown backpack which she carries with her at all times for work and such. Everything she does has a reason. Sometimes… other people just can’t figure out what that reason is. Her personality is best described as layered. To many, she comes across as almost cold and uninterested, especially toward most guys and any woman she sees as a rival - which is basically anyone pretty enough to garner a glance from men passing on the street. With that in mind, it isn't too surprising to find that she's a rather competitive individual, even if she internalizes that side of her. The thing about her competitiveness is that if she sees that she is going to lose or doesn’t think she can be the best at something, she would rather quit and feign disinterest rather than face anyone being recognized as better than her. However, the look of satisfaction she gets when she is better than somebody is quite euphoric! She will utterly remind whoever she has bested of how better she in comparison to the point where she becomes aggravating to whoever was deemed the lesser. Midori's competitiveness also transfers over to her outlook on herself and the people around her. She is highly judgmental of everyone, especially in regard to beauty and fashion. This judgmental self-conscious way of thinking is why she places so much value on her own beauty. So that she might belittle those around her, boosting her own confidence in the process. The deeper layers of Midori's person are accessed only as she chooses, the deepest layers of which leave her almost entirely disarmed. At the deepest layer you can tell just how fucked up she is. These are normally only accessed by the guy she happens to fancy at the time, around which she regularly becomes someone else entirely, falling over herself and occasionally losing her words. That isn't to say her performance is affected, just her ability to communicate with her crush. During these times she can be quite confusing, as she will compliment you then right after scorn you for something! Even if that something is quite trivial or meaningless to the context at hand. When not flirting with her active crush, she spends most of her time working, doing the best she can. It works for her because she is naturally paper-work and detail oriented and most within the regiment are not, to say the least. It gives her the chance to be the only person in the room who’s good at what she does, and she likes that. It makes her feel powerful and in control. Those that have not garnered her interest are treated like trash. She doesn't take shit from anybody and because of that she is highly effective at getting people to finish their work with the exception of her crush... Combat is something that’s been trained as a way to pass tests and overcome competition, but secretly Midori is squeamish, almost entirely unable to stand the sight of gore. All her training has been in a gym and on dummies, never actually having spilled blood herself. She does her best to hide this well, however, and has made out well so far without anyone finding out, at least no one that has confronted her about it. HistoryShow Midori’s story starts much like any other in the Hidden Mist. She was born to Shinobi parents and always encouraged - moreso expected, to perform and become a shinobi herself. She questioned the path once. Only once. Her father’s reaction ensured she would never question it again. No one reported the incident, of course, and she doesn’t talk about it. But the long, thin scar that runs along her jawbone, nearly invisible, remains as a memory that she should "keep her stupid questions to herself.” She learned her lesson - and kept to herself. Through childhood and her early years, she rarely spoke, and pushed people away, never letting people in. She surrounded herself with her books and only really spent time with the girl who was chosen as her rival, who she loathed for being prettier and smarter than her. She could never quite overcome the girl, but it pushed her to excel all the way through chuunin. But when they finally split, her confidence had taken another blow. All through her years, all she wanted was for a knight in shining armor to ride in and sweep her off her feet - take her away from all this. She would stare into the fog at night wondering if anyone would ever show up and toss pebbles at her window, or ask her into the midnight rain for a dance. She had it all planned, and her diary knew all about it. It was her only true friend, and she told it everything. But no matter how much hope she had for prince charming, he never came. One day, her father found her diary and read about how all she wanted was to live a breathtakingly romantic life filled with intrigue and surprise, to run away and travel far away from the village and never look back. When she returned that day there was a strange smell in the air, and as she neared her bedroom, the villain of her story awaited through the open door, gas-soaked diary in hand. Tears were in his eyes but they weren’t tears of sadness. They were tears of disappointment, betrayal, and rage. The verbal berating was only the beginning. Before she could flee, he set the story of her heart ablaze, grabbed her hair, and beat her with the book before casting her into the desolate streets, hurling the charred book after her. It was the last day she spoke to her family. However, her story was not over. In the storm of her pain, filled with desperation more than anything, she wandered through the streets while dealing with the fact that she was now homeless. Too ashamed and prideful to go to anybody for help she eventually found herself in the slums. The income she received from her position as a junior ninja was useless in finding her a decent shelter to settle. This was the best she could do for the time being. In the slums people preyed off the weak and that is exactly what the young girl broadcast to everyone. She had become a target for those that prey upon the weak... One fateful night while coming back to the slums from a mission she was cornered by a group of nefarious journeyman level ninja who were drunk and itching to have some fun with her. They attacked her and pushed her to the ground before readying themselves to enjoy their 'prize' for the night, but before they could do anything, each of them were utterly decimated by a figure clad in leather. Everything happened so fast! The figure in black offered his hand to the young woman. Admittedly the man was just as scary as those laying lifeless in the mud, but it was the first time somebody had genuinely helped her. Was this her knight is shini... black armor? Eventually Midori found herself adopted into the Karagata house by her savior; Karagata, Shiv. With her pledge of servitude to the house she was given everything she needed to be independent. There was now no reason at all to go back to her former family. What she now wanted more then ever was to be closer to her savior. So instead of continuing her career with the village, she joined the Head Hunter Regiment. And since that day, she has worked hard, keeping herself busy enough to ignore the pain. Deep down, she’s still waiting for prince charming to come in and tell her it was all a dream, even if her prince doesn't know it yet... | ||||||||||||||||||

Combat StyleShow Midori isn’t exactly a fighter per say, but when faced with conflict requiring her to act with force she is quite capable of handling her own. That being said she would rather avoid direct conflict and take a much more subtle approach to accomplishing the task at hand. She does this through clever application and finesse with senbon which eventually whittles down a target for capture or elimination. Having dealt with many different types of prey, a hunter with this skill set is able to more easily track a shinobi by simply following clues. They are able to quickly take note of broken trees, foot prints, and any indication of movement, allowing for more accurate tracking.
[Shadow Senbon Technique]
D-Ranked Taijutsu
Prerequisite: User must possess senbon of some variation
With little to its application, this technique requires the user to have at least two senbon to use. When throwing the senbon at the opponent, the user will throw another that will travel beneath the first, concealing itself within its shadow. By doing so, this allows the second senbon to go undetected as it makes its approach toward the target. Both senbon travel at a speed dictated by the user's strength stat unless stated otherwise.

After extensive practice and training the character has gained equal strength and skill between their two hands. This allows them to perform any action with either hand at exactly the same skill level and strength.

By applying both his taijutsu knowledge and her quick thinking Midori is able to feint an attack. This is done by aiming an attack quickly to a side the user can block. If the target attempts to defend against it, this creates an opening in which Midori can quickly pull back mid-swing and redirect his attack elsewhere. The main application of this jutsu was originally to strike at a user who is forming hand seals in order to cause them to break their seals to defend themselves, though it has a wide variety of applications.

Kirigakure no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Hidden Mist Ninja. Forming a one handed seal, the ninja causes the area surrounding their target to be covered in thick mist or fog that extends for a 50 yard radius, accumulating over the span of a post. The low visibility makes it hard for anyone within this range to see.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user can control the transparency of the mist to become much more lucid or clear in certain area for one post. This allows for him to control what is viewable and what is not in his mist. The extent of the control cannot exceed more than half of the mist unless he wants to charge more chakra.

While inside the mist, the user will perform the correct seals and clasp their hands to initiate the jutsu. The water will increase and substantially grow in thickness. This will make it even harder to blow away or use jutsu to see through.

After completing the needed hand seals, a tightly packed circular gust of wind forms right at the feet of the user. The moment someone leaps on it, it sends that person flying in the direction they jumped on it. It's quite powerful and can send an average-sized person and anything else that lands on it over fifteen yards at their base speed in a straight line. It disappears after one use or lasts unused for three posts. A strength of four or higher is required to resist the effect of this technique.

After forming a short string of hand seals, air will compact itself into a 4 meter radius "cushion" of sorts that is used to soften a fall from a great height. This won't prevent all damage but it will prevent major injury. It can be used up to twenty yards away from the user. It lasts until the end of the post it’s used in and dissipates after one use.

After performing the needed hand seals, the user is able to glide on air as if they were skating on ice. This allows them to move faster (+1 speed) but lowers their accuracy (-1 Taijutsu). This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off.
