Hair: Her hair is dark brown and been cut fairly short, hanging several inches above her shoulders
Eyes: Her eyes are a deep golden brown

Physical Features: Though a bit of a late bloomer Eiko has finally come into her own, her form taking on the characteristics of a matured young woman. She's a fair bit taller than the average woman, has long thin legs, and is fairly curvaceous with a large full bust and an ample behind. Her skin is a healthy white and silky smooth. It's also relatively unmarked except for a few scrapes caused by training as she hasn't yet gotten any tattoos or piercings. When around the village various sweet scents emanate from her body, these being different each day, due to scents and perfumes she wears.

Clothing/Accessories: Being a woman with a love for dressing up Eiko possesses a variety of different outfits to suit her needs and moods ranging from blouses and skirts of various lengths all the way to skintight bodysuits with all manners of clothing inbetween.

With that said however her preferred outfit these days consists simply of a long sleeved sweater and a knee length skirt accompanied by black stockings and a pair of knee high boots with a slightly raised heel.

Personality: Eiko is a polite soft spoken young woman, in recent years having become much more confident and outgoing though she can still at times be shy around those she's meeting for the first time. She has a great love of reading, particularly cheesy romance novels, in her younger days even often making use of the things she read to more easily interact with others. She has over time learned reined in her love of sweets and has taken on something of a caring, motherly nature towards those around her. This has led to her even picking up various domestic skills, having come to find that she particularly enjoys the art of cooking, taking it upon herself to ensure that her adopted family are eating healthily on a regular basis.

All said, she still has a fear of being alone but it has greatly diminished over the years though in its place is now a newfound anxiety on if she can be a good teacher for her Academy students, having achieved her dream of obtaining a teaching position. Now she simply wants to do the best she can for the kids and her village no matter the difficulties that may come her way.

Sensors are shinobi who are able to activate a sixth sense which can locate and read chakra sources. Sensory is advantageous as it allows shinobi to perceive without using any of their conventional senses, which can easily be deceived. Sensors are able to collect a lot of information through the interpretation of this sixth sense.
Raiton Affinity:
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Raiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Raiton affinity. Raiton has a shocking effect.

Raiton has the effect of shocking, which means causes it's effect to be diffuse upon impact. In organic material, this causes nervous stimulation which results in numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, and sometimes paralysis. In inorganic material, this means that the strength of the jutsu diffuses across an area 2x the size of the attack. In a jutsu that creates a lightning ball 2m in diameter, if it struck a wall the size of the attack would cover a 4m area.

Additionally, the strength of the nervous effect on organic material from raiton jutsu is determined by the ninjutsu stat requirement.

By channeling doton chakra into their arm, the user will form rock from their shoulder downward, encasing their forearm and hand in rough and simplistic layered plates of stone. The stone passes over the hand on the back-side but leaves the palm-side uncovered allowing full dexterity of the hand for seals. This essentially resembles a manica, which is a segmented armor that spans the length of the arm. The armor has [Control] strength and speed.

After performing the correct hand seals and holding the last one, the user will stomp their foot on the ground, releasing their chakra in it and causing it to tremor violently for one post. The tremors radiate out from the user in a 25 meter radius, knocking down anyone standing on the ground without a stability taijutsu technique of a rank equal to [Control]. Lasts as long as the last seal is held, for up to 3 posts.

The user will do a series of hand seals and place their hands to the ground. Releasing waves of chakra out of their hands. These waves of chakra will bounce back to the user after traveling out 50 meters on the ground. As the chakra returns to the user it will evoke an image in the users head of the immediate area around them, anything touching the ground and anything up to 5 meters underground. These are still images, not moving images, but can give the user a good idea of what is happening if they aren’t able to see otherwise.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a series of walls in front of them at [Control] Speed, closing the top off. This maze covers a 7mx7mx3m area and the walls have an endurance of [Control] Strength.

After performing the correct hand seals the user places their palms on any earthen ground, channeling chakra into it allowing them to lower or raise any 5x5 meter segment of the ground within 40 meters at [Control] speed and strength. The maximum distance the segment can be lowered or raised is 40 meters. The user must keep their palms on the ground during the course of the jutsu. If they remove their palms at any time, the jutsu will end and they will not be able to raise or lower it any further without redoing the technique.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a nondescript 2x1x2 meter jaw complete with a dense row of spiked teeth. They will then launch the head at a target for up to 40 meters traveling at [Control] speed. During the course of it's travel at any time the user can perform an additional hand seal, causing the jaw of spiked teeth to close shut, clamping and impaling whatever is within it at [Control] strength.

After performing the correct hand seals and holding the final seal the user will form a dragons head directly in front of them. So long as they hold the seal they will be able to rotate the head and fire up to 20 meter long stone spears, one at a time, up to 65 meters away from the mouth of the dragon. The spikes fire at [Control] speed and hit with [Control] strength. While using this technique the user has to stay immobile and any movement will cancel the technique.

The dome has a diameter of 15 meters and it's walls are nearly a meter thick, having [Control] strength. Said to have split even mountains, after performing the correct hand seals the user will slam their palm down on the ground. Their chakra will violently rend the ground tearing it apart in 80 meter line [Control] speed and strength. The tearing is 5 meters wide and 7 meters deep, shooting dangerous rubble, rock, and everything on the ground into the surrounding air during the technique. Over all this causes great destruction and being even near the path of this technique is quite dangerous.

Once the water is expelled, it will form an umbrella shape that is concave to the user and about two meters in diameter. The defense is shot at [Control] Speed and has [Control] Strength and unless completely destroyed it lasts for three posts before falling lifelessly to the ground.

Created to safely incapacitate opponents, after performing the correct hand seals, if the opponent is within 25 meters and is standing a top a body of water with the user's chakra in it, the user will begin to churn their chakra causing the water to turn into a vortex and engulf the opponent, trapping them in a vortex about two meters in diameter. Once the target is inside, the user must hold the last seal and cannot use any other techniques, capable of holding this for up to five posts. In order to escape, the target must have at least [Control] strength to physically make their way out, or the user must be disrupted. Most shinobi would pass out after two posts due to a lack of oxygen. However, if a target possesses an Endurance stat higher than 10, it would require three posts for them to pass out. Should the target possess an Endurance stat above 20, it would require five posts for them to pass out, but anything higher than 30 would allow them to resist passing out altogether.

B-Ranked

After performing the correct hand seals the user creates a dragon head of water. Once it has been created, the user can launch the three-meter diameter projectile towards a target at [Control] Speed and Strength for up to 40 meters. Following the head is a long body and tail, stretching nearly six-meters. During the course of it's travel, the user may alter the course of the dragon three times, allowing it to complete a U-turn per alteration.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will expel a large amount of water from their body as a sweeping defense against hostile techniques. The water from the technique forms a cylinder around the user at [Control] Speed, and flows around the user. It is approximately 7 meters around and 2 meters thick, leaving only the top unprotected. The wall has the ability to deflect things with [Control] Strength, but even if something break through, the walls thick nature makes traversing through the water fully troublesome. The wall lasts up to three posts unless dispelled earlier by the user or destroyed.

After performing the correct hand seals the user is able to spew a large ball of water that stands at three meters in diameter. This ball rolls forward at the desired target up to 40 meters away and at [Control] Speed. Should this strike the target, they will become engulfed within the sphere. However, if this manages to strike multiple targets, it will envelop them as well, up to a total of 3 prisoners. One can resist being pulled into the ball if they have a strength higher than [Control]. The trapped targets will spin with the sphere and may become nauseated and dizzy from the disorientation. The technique lasts for a total of 4 posts before bursting.

A-Ranked

After performing the correct hand seals the user will create a pressurized blade of water in their hand. The blade is approximately 1/2 meter wide and 2 meters tall, resembling a larger sword. The pressurized blade of water has [Control] Strength and may fire half-meter long blades of water with [Control] Speed and Strength. It lasts for 4 posts or until destroyed.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will flow chakra into their heel. When they next slam their heel into the ground, a massive 25-meter diameter geyser will shoot up from the ground directly in front of them at [Control] Speed and Strength for up to 60 meters. The sheer force of the water alone is dangerous, not to mention the gravity of it all falling back to earth.

After performing the correct hand seals the user creates water from thin air and forms so much that it creates a tidal wave 80 meters wide and 20 meters tall. The wave will flow forward at [Control] speed and strength, crashing into and destroying everything in it's path for up to 80 meters before running out of power.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will expel a small cloud of salt from their mouth only about twice the size of a basketball. This causes irritation and pain in the eyes and nose, and possibly the mouth if it is open. This cloud disperses after a single post.

They will then release a torrent of salt crystals which surges forward from the earth at [control] strength and speed. After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will form a rock of salt about the size of a baseball in their hand. They can then throw this salt as they would any weapon. The rock of salt will explode on contact with the force of a single explosive tag equal in strength to [Control], and cover a 10m radius from the contact in a cloud of salt. This technique will last 5 posts maximum, regardless of how much time is spent in either rock or cloud form, and the cloud will apply the salt passive at the beginning of every post to anything touching it.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will generate small salt spikes which protrude from the ground around them in all directions for 10 metres. After performing the correct hand seals, the user will generate three rocks of salt approximately the size of a baseball. These rocks of salt are each fired simultaneously upon a trajectory of the user’s choosing at [control] speed and strength. Each of these rocks will apply the salt passive once they connect.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will cause a pillar of salt 3m high and 2m in diameter to rise from the ground in front of them at [control] speed. After performing the correct hand seals, the user will create a clone of themselves out of salt that has stats equal to the user. This clone is capable of only using Salt style jutsu. The clone lasts [Control]/4 posts.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will channel their chakra below the ground. They will then cause a geyser of salt to blast from beneath the earth somewhere within 20m of their person. The geyser erupts from the ground at [control] Speed and with [control] Strength. This geyser continues to produce salt for 3 posts, spreading enough to cover a 25m radius around itself. Any who touch this salt will have the salt passive applied to them once.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will channel their chakra into an existing body of salt. Once this is done, they will cause the salt to travel toward a target at [control] speed, where it will then surround and attempt to bury and trap the person with [control] strength. This prison will then apply the salt passive to those trapped by it at the beginning of each of its 5 post time limit.

B-Ranked

*Salt Style • Spear of Divine Punishment

After performing the appropriate hand seals, the user will form a spear out of salt that is 2m long, with a broad 30cm wide and 40cm long head. On top of acting like any other spear, this particular technique causes localized loss of moisture once it cuts a target. While it applies the salt passive on contact, it additionally steals another 3 endurance every post for 3 posts and causes the limb struck to be unusable for one post before falling apart. The spear requires [control] strength to break and lasts for a number of posts equal to the user’s [Chakra Pool/2].

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will surround themselves in a swirling orb of grains of salt. This, of course, means that they cannot move however in exchange for mobility it protects the user with [control] strength for 4 posts. It also draws 6 endurance from those who strike it for 4 posts on physical contact.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will channel chakra into their mouth. They will then be able to expel a torrential 'beam' of salt crystals in a single direction for 30m at [control] speed and strength. This technique applies the salt passive. If the user holds the last hand seal, they will be able to change the direction of the beam by pivoting on the spot and maintain it for up to 3 posts, however they will be unable to move beyond turning on the spot to change the trajectory.

A-Ranked

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will coat their hands in Salt. For the next 5 posts, the user will drain moisture from an opponent’s body when touching it, causing serious wounds similar to third degree burns to develop, as well as draining 4 stamina each time they come in contact with an opponent. The coating will fall off after 3 posts.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will empower any salt they have created. Anybody who is in contact with a form of salt created by the user’s salt techniques will immediately have 15 stamina worth of moisture drained from their body, resulting in the limb which made the contact to become unusable without medical attention. This drain only occurs in one post, however the lost stamina will return at 2 stamina per post until it is recovered.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will generate a 30m tall, 40m wide tidal wave of salt crystals. This wave will be expelled from the user and move up to 100m from the point of origin with [Control] speed and strength. Once it settles 100m from its start point, the salt will cover the ground with a 3m high zone of Salt, with a clear zone 2m around the user. This salt will apply the salt passive at the beginning of every post for 5 posts, making it deadly for those trapped beneath.

History
Prologue - A Lonely StartShow
Eiko had never known the love of a family as her dad had died shortly before she was born and shortly after she was born her mother succumbed to illness, but not before naming her with hope that she would have a good life. Left without her parents the village had placed her in an orphanage where she would spend her childhood.

Her time in the orphanage wasn't the best experience but it wasn't all that bad either. She had a few friends among the other orphans and in a way she felt of them as a sort of family but she knew deep down that something was missing even if she didn't know exactly what it was. While she did spend time with her fellow orphans she spent a majority of her time in solitude sometimes reading and other times wondering what her parents were like and how different life would be if they were still around.

As time passed she began to grow increasingly lonely and even bitter as she grew older and her friends were being placed into loving families. Eventually her ninth birthday rolled around and shortly after she enrolled into the academy, having seen shinobi in action a few times while exploring and wanting to become someone strong and respectable.

During her time in the academy she mostly avoided the other students unless they came up to her first resulting in her making only a few friends though she didn't mind since the friends she did have she managed to grow relatively close to. When it came to her classes she proved to be about average in intelligence. She also discovered her natural affinity for taijutsu during this time as she excelled in physical activities while she seemed to be simply average at ninjutsu and slightly below average at genjutsu, though her skill at the latter was gradually improving. Overall she managed to get average grades and graduated four years later at the age of thirteen.

In the year that has passed since graduation she's begun to train in her Doton affinity and is currently living on her own still holding up hope that she won't be alone much longer.
Chapter 1 - A Glimpse of HappinessShow
Her Genin years were filled with changes for the young girl, most of them for the better. The first of these being the girl finally being adopted, this being by a Jounin by the name of Nakajima Hayate, who had been a former student of her parents. The pair proved to be a good match as they almost instantly connected on their first day together, forming a bond that only grew stronger over the course of the next several weeks as they both began to feel the love that could only be provided by a family, her for the first time and he for the first time after his father's death following the failed coup de tat fourteen years earlier.

About a month later she fell in love for the first time, with a Jinrai boy a couple years older than herself who went by the name of Soru. Their meeting was a typical one almost as if it had come straight out of one of her romance novels. They had ran into each other, quite literally, on accident and after an awkward exchange they went out for lunch and each found themselves almost immediately falling for the other. They became a couple later that night up on the mountaintop that Hayate had taken Eiko up to when they had initially met. Now that she had a boyfriend and a father she felt the happiest that she had ever been up until then.

However a couple weeks later her world would begin to crumble underneath her once more. The village was attacked by a powerful lightning spirit known only as Raijin, devastating the village and killing the Raikage. The village as a whole probably would have been annihilated had Hayate not stepped up to defend the village and drive the spirit back. It was later that same day once Hayate returned home from his battle that she was to learn that Hayate had 'adopted' another girl by the name of Hotaru, that's right.. to her surprise Eiko had a big sister and she couldn't be any happier that her family had begun to grow larger.

She played a big part in the village's reconstruction efforts, assisting for the most part with general cleanup and various other tasks that were required of her. Though.. it was also during this time that she found out Soru had died during the attack, needless to say she was devastated but a heart to heart with her new dad helped her to begin to realize that even those who weren't around anymore would always be by her side, including her parents. To help her cope she also received from Hayate her own pet, a sugar glider by the name of Fuu whom had previously belonged to Hayate himself.
Chapter 2 - Sparkling DaydreamShow
The next month or so was full of ups and downs, shortly after Soru's death and Hayate's subsequent disappearance she made several new friends, notably sparking a brief friendship with an older boy by the name of Midori Katashi and reuniting with her childhood friend Yoko. Perhaps most importantly she became friends with an Ishiguro by the name of Izumi, the last of these being a meeting that had caused her to fall in love once more, though that wouldn't be revealed until much later.

Amidst the reconstruction of her own world and the village around her it finally came time for her Chuunin Examination. Needless to say it was the most important mission of her young life as she had been sent out alone to the city of Sora no Machi for surveillance and after a bunch of close calls had come back with information regarding what she thought to be an upcoming war. Apparently pleased with her results, shortly afterwards the village granted her the rank of Chuunin and to go along with her new rank she replaced her old forehead protector with a golden scarf that had been worn by Hayate and her father before him.

In the short time since then her happiness has increased by leaps and bounds as Izumi became her girlfriend and she found herself once again growing close to Yoko, her childhood friend. Shortly after that though, she was promoted again to Special Jounin, it seemed that she had been doing well enough to warrant yet another promotion. Amongst everything though.. she's begun to realize that she needs to get stronger.. so that she can protect the ones she loves, even with her impending blindness, though she's determined not to let that or anything else get in her way.

  • Face/head: Hisako has fairly feminine though still sharp facial features with a seemingly ever-present frown accompanied by piercing blue eyes and bright pink hair that hangs down to just below her shoulders when left loose though is often kept up in a short bushy ponytail
  • Body: Hisako is tall and fairly muscular with ample curves and peachy skin that has somehow retained a degree of softness even despite the number of small scars littering her torso, back, and arms

Clothing and Accessories: Having been encouraged to take up a more casual style Hisako's primary outfit consists of a midriff-baring halter top worn underneath a long sleeved jacket and tight fitting pants with ankle boots on her feet.

With that said, old habits can be hard to break and so for missions she can often be found wearing her old bodysuit, the suit being skintight and wrapping around her entire body from the neck down including her feet and hands

Personality:
  • General: Perhaps due to her role as a bodyguard or maybe as a result of her time in black ops Hisako is highly cautious and wary of others, even being a bit distrustful on first meeting. Until her trust has been gained she can come off as cold, speaking harshly and keeping her distance. That's not to say she's entirely unsociable or emotionless however, couldn't be farther from the truth even. Underneath her unintentionally cold exterior lies a very sweet and earnest young woman who at times is shown to be just a bit timid and wants nothing more than to ensure the safety and happiness of those around her. She has a hidden desire to learn about those around her and to make friends, feeling very protective and loyal towards the few she does have. Additionally she has an intense sweet tooth and a love for playing her flute, feeling at ease and even often losing track of time when playing, though she most often plays in private as she dislikes having an audience.
  • Hopes/Dreams: Hisako has two goals, to fulfill her promise to keep both Eiko and Kumo itself safe from harm and to learn to live a normal life again

The ancient warriors of the Frost Country, battling both against harsh, unforgiving climates and constant attacks from outside forces, developed Zantou, a special style of Kenjutsu to fight back against invaders while defending even the strongest of arctic gates. Unlike most other styles, which often make use of highly technical swordplay, elaborate footwork, and blinding speed, Zantou attacks the mind of the opponent and defeats him both in body and in soul. Zantou is unique amongst the traditional kenjutsu styles in that it mandates the use of twin swords. While most practitioners opt for pairs of kodachi or ninjato for superior defense while maintaining a strong offense and adequate reach, any pair of swords can be used with this style. A combination of intense mental focus, quick and powerful strikes, and harnessing one's will to influence themselves and their opponents using Kiai, Zantou brings the body, mind, and soul of the warrior together in a fierce union, becoming an embodiment of the blades they wield.

D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
The basic Stance of Zantou, the practitioner holds one blade forward, parallel to the ground, and holds the other high over the head, pointing toward the opponent. The low blade grants the practitioner the ability to quickly defend against an opponent's attack while the blade raised overhead allows the practitioner to either quickly attack or counterattack with a powerful downward swing or thrust. This pairing of defense and offense serves as one of the cores of Zantou's swordsmanship. Drawing in a deep breath, the practitioner also gathers up their energy and releases a kiai. This Stance allows the practitioner to ignore non-critical distractions and minor environmental factors, such as small amounts of excess heat, small amounts of excess cold, small amounts of fatigue, and even small amounts of pain, allowing them to focus entirely on their opponents' movements and the tasks at hand. While in this Stance, the practitioner is conferred with a +2 increase to Strength and +1 increase to Will Power but suffers a -2 penalty to Chakra Pool and -1 penalty to Control. The practitioner may end this Stance whenever they so wish.

After practicing for a long amount of time with the concept of using both of their hands with equal skill, the user has developed a level of ambidexterity that allows them to utilize both hands equally and as effectively without any penalty. This extends to other methods of combat or simple everyday life as well.

The physical training and mental focus encouraged by Zantou allows for the practitioner to adapt quickly and take advantage of opportunities to attack when they present themselves in combat. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to alter the direction of their blade mid-cut. This can be used to work around a block, or simply to act as a powerful feint and strike all in the same motion without stopping. This Discipline can make a Zantou practitioner’s movements difficult to predict in a fight.

Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Ambidexterity].
The practitioner of Zantou must be capable of both defending and attacking within the same movement. This Discipline represents the practitioner's training and capacity to block an attack with one sword while simultaneously attacking with the other while wielding two or more weapons, making it more difficult for opponents to adequately block or counter the practitioner's attacks.

Complete control of the weapons one is wielding is a necessity to ensure a practitioner of Zantou is proficient in the style. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to switch either one of their swords (or both, if they wish) from standard grip to reverse grip reflexively, the movements to do so firmly trained into their muscle memory. This allows the Zantou practitioner to ensure that the cutting edges of their blades are always facing the opponent whenever they want them to be. This Discipline can make a Zantou practitioner’s movements difficult to predict in a fight.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Winter River Flows].
This technique can be performed as a standalone technique, often supplemented by feinting a slash, or can be linked to another attack. The practitioner twists their wrist and channels their momentum into a downward thrust, lodging their blade into the opponent and potentially pinning them to the ground or another surface. The opponent can force the practitioner away if their Strength stat is higher than the practitioner's Strength stat, but doing so hastily can cause additional damage as the blade continues to expand the wound even further. Conversely, the practitioner can opt to twist the blade in the wound and pull it out, causing further damage to the opponent and possibly severing important tendons or veins.

*[Zantou • Frigid Gust]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Zantou harnesses the inner strength of its warrior to cause the opponent to falter. Intentionally clashing with the opponent's weapon at a weak point, the practitioner immediately torques the muscles in their arm to violently push and twist the weapon in a single direction. An opponent affected by this technique must have a Strength higher than the practitioner's Strength to avoid losing their grip on their weapon or being disarmed entirely. The practitioner can immediately follow up on this opening with a slash with the other weapon if they so wish.

C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Much of a human's movements are inefficient and waste energy, especially in regards to combat. The practitioner has learned how to fully synchronize and harmonize the movements of their body in and out of combat. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge and mastery of kinetic linking, the efficient movement and transferal of potential energy from one part of the body to the other, eliminating potentially wasted Endurance and chakra and allowing the practitioner to last longer than ordinary in a fight.

The practitioner carefully scrutinizes his opponent's defenses and attacks whatever openings present themselves. This Discipline represents the practitioner's capacity to quickly recognize the base effective range of an opponent's weapon and inherent weaknesses in their defenses, including if there are none. This technique does not provide supernatural insight into an opponent's techniques which could alter those parameters, but this technique can be used in conjunction with other information the practitioner has to build a complete mental profile on the opponent's capabilities.

Using the opponent's own guard as an avenue for attack, the practitioner will feint as to clash against the opponent's defense. Then, as the blade's edge is about to make contact, the practitioner will twist the said blade and push the blade forward as the flat of their weapon makes contact against the opponent's guard. This allows the practitioner to initiate a slash or thrust against the opponent by sliding the flat of the blade along the opponent's guard. This tricky technique can allow the practitioner to exploit inherent weaknesses in the opponent's guard and even push through an opponent's defenses to attack them.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
As opposed to most attacks, which aim to do as much damage as possible as in few movements as necessary, this technique aims to slowly whittle away an opponent from the outside in. Whenever an opponent parries or blocks an attack, the practitioner can quickly sidestep, dragging the weapon along the opponent's guard and making a small incision somewhere along their outer extremities. While the cuts themselves are shallow and may appear superficial at first, continued use of this technique against an enemy can result in significant blood loss. Each successful application of this technique will leave a wide, shallow cut that will increase the pace at which the opponent loses blood and, in turn, Endurance.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Ambidexterity], *[Zantou • Shifting Winds].
The practitioner uses their skills with their weapons to obfuscate their next attacks. By constantly spinning the blades with their hands and fingers, randomly switching directions, the practitioner can reflexively choose not only what kind of strike to use and which direction to launch the attack from, but also whether to use standard grip or reverse grip the split-second before launching the attack. This can make the practitioner very unpredictable in a fight. This technique can be used in conjunction with other techniques to help mask the practitioner's intentions.

B-Ranked

*[Zantou • Polar Bear Claw]
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Ambidexterity].
One of the few full committal techniques of Zantou, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their arms. Then, in a single, explosive release, the practitioner looses a kiai and two crossing diagonal slashes from opposite sides. Opponents within a number of meters equal to the practitioner's Strength must have a Will Power equal to or higher than the practitioner's Will Power to resist the kiai effect. Otherwise, the opponents will suffer from minor disorientation from the disruption of the equilibrium, resulting in a -6 penalty to Speed for the next three posts. At the center of the attack, the second blade crashes into the back of the first, driving the first blade deeper into the opponent's guard, weapon, armor, or body. This technique is effective at breaking an opponent's weapon, armor, or defenses. The disorientation effect from this technique can be stacked with other disorientation effects and refreshes the post limit for any disorientation effect currently imposed on the opponents.

History Having lost her birth family at a young age Hisako grew up in an orphanage under the care of a woman by the name of Aya. Being shy and quiet she spent most of her time alone but from time to time she would be dragged along to play by a pair of other girls, Fuyuki Eiko and her friend Yuuko. Life went on as normal until one day much to the trio's surprise, Hisako was the first among them to be adopted. Of course they attempted to keep in touch for a while after this but slowly drifted apart, especially as Eiko grew more and more inconsolable as the orphanage slowly emptied out with the divide fully emerging once even Yuuko herself was adopted. Of course she was sad to have seemingly lost her two closest friends but she was gradually warming up to her new family, a woman named Yukana Marika and her husband Ryota. The couple had been unable to conceive a child and so had looked to adopt. Despite not being related by blood they loved their newfound daughter as if she was their own and while it took some time she came to love them in the same way.

Eventually it came time for her to enter the shinobi academy, the girl putting her all into her classes and graduating with ease. As a Genin she kept up the hard work whether working alone or with a team. Little did she know at the time that she had begun to catch the eye of those who work in the shadows, that she would soon be forced to make a choice that would forever alter the course of her life. Or at least that's how it had felt at the time. In hindsight she couldn't help but feel as if maybe she hadn't truly had a choice after all.

It was soon after her promotion to Chuunin that she would find herself kidnapped by a man known as Banri and inducted into the Kumogakure Black Ops otherwise known as Stratos. When later asked about what that initial meeting had been like she wouldn't give any details, only saying that he had been both charismatic and rather intimidating. As well even in her young age she could sense a burning ambition... A sense that perhaps should have served as a warning that something wasn't quite right.

In any case working under the alias of Ichigo she began her work as a Black Ops agent, slowly coming to learn what would be truly expected of her. At first she took some amount of pride in the work she was doing, of working for her village from behind the scenes doing the dirty work that the average shinobi couldn't be tasked with. She did feel bad for lying to her parents but she had no choice, she knew that and yet...

As time went on she learned to discard her personal feelings to finish her missions with greater efficiency, or she thought. The country soon became embroiled in civil war, one that she would later come to learn had been orchestrated by Banri himself. For a while she proceeded with missions as normal but partway through the war she was sent out on her first assassination, a job to take out a merchant convoy that had been supplying the enemy. It should have been easy but as she tailed the group and pondered how best to strike she came to the realization that she had been asked to murder innocents in cold blood, innocents with families waiting for them to come home. Nonetheless... she had a job to do and so with a small bit of reluctance she hardened her heart and did what had to be done.

This proved to be a sign of things to come over the course of the war, the girl engaging not just in assassinations but acts of espionage and sabotage as well. It was a whole new level of dirty work that she would later come to realize she had never been fully prepared for.

Soon enough the war would come to an end, Nakajima Hayate being named Emperor and Raikage. As it was irrelevant to her own duties she hadn't been made entirely aware of all the details on his involvement, knowing only that he had worked with their organization for a short time.

With the civil war over there was peace and for the first time in a while she found herself able to take a breather, though of course there would always still be work to be done. As always she did what was asked of her, nothing more nothing less, but she couldn't help but wonder at times if she was really doing the right thing...

It seemed that peace wasn't meant to last as war came once more, this time involving the world at large. While she did play her part while she was able, her life would soon take a shift once more. She had been selected as part of a group to remain behind while Banri took his most trusted agents and marched on Soul Country... And it soon came out that this march was just one part of a greater series of treasonous actions all meant for Banri and Black Ops to gain greater power and influence.

However Banri would be defeated and as a result of his actions the organization was dissolved and she was reinstated as part of the shinobi force. Some part of her was honestly relieved but she was also scared... What was she supposed to do now? She had all but forgotten how to live a normal life and had become something of a workaholic.

As luck would have it however she was soon assigned a special mission, to act as a guard for Nakajime Eiko, her old friend and the Raikage's adopted daughter. Of course she more than gladly took on the task, though she was determined to simply watch on from the shadows. However fate would have different plans as she would be discovered and forced into the light, her new charge taking it into her own hands to make up for lost time and to help her once more lead a normal life...
