  • Face/head: Tokoha's head is topped with long crimson red hair that falls about her head, going down to just above her posterior in the back and cropped short on the front and sides with her bangs being long enough that they need to be swept to the side to keep from getting in her pale green eyes. Her face has a notable roundness to it, but not in a way that could be perceived as fat or podge faced, but rather her features are softer despite her almost consistent frump faced neutral expression.
  • Body:
    Tokoha is a relatively petite woman with a relatively average stature and rather rigid posture, often considered to be from the air of pride she exudes. Tokoha sports a toned physique from her years of training as a shinobi and seems to have the most subtle(if not almost invisible) traces of an hour glass figure that threatens to shine through if she somehow increased the size of her hips and bust. Maintaining a proactive lifestyle in her off time, Tokoha has kept her arms, legs, and stomach toned yet they don't seem to come off as body builder status, primarily due to the fact that her pursuits in the world of exercise and training are merely to keep her skills sharp, not go over board. Her fingers and hands show some signs of being used frequently for articulate craftsmanship, but other than that she has no distinguishing characteristics.
  • Notable Features: Tokoha also keeps some semblance of vanity as he has had medical ninjas remove all scars upon her body once she returns from a mission. While she doesn't mind them on other people, she minds them on herself for two reasons: One, they can be remembered in the field and that could make her easier to remember and Two, her aforementioned vanity. The result of the latter has produced a smoothness to her almost peach colored skin, upon which she has sworn never to get a tattoo, piercing, or fuuin ever.
Clothing/Accessories:
While her off hours are often seen wearing something more comfortable during the heat of the day, Tokoha has a tendency to wear clothes that are made of material that breaths so it can keep her cooler her both on duty and off. While her closet is split in half between her work and personal wear, it's like staring at two completely different styles.

Her work wear often comprised of a single body suit garment that covers her body but isn't skin tight and uncomfortable. Bearing long sleeves on both the arms and legs, this turtle neck style jumpsuit is wine colored with the suit buttoning down the collar then shifting diagonally above her right breast and then down her right side to the wist. The diagonal cut and collar sections of this are more visible with black buttons and white lining, giving some contrast to the all wine colored suit. Upon her upper back is a design in white, a simple ring that is often covered by her hair. The wrists of the jump suit have zippers that come up to her mid fore arm, allowing her to unzip and roll up her sleeves in the event she starts to over heat or needs to get her hands dirty and doesn't what her sleeves to get in the way.

Underneath this jumpsuit she'll often wear something simple to maintain her modesty in the event she needs to shed the suit completely or pull it off her upper body to cool off. This usually consists of some kind of more snug pair of shorts and a halter top, both white in color. Occasionally on missions, she'll wear some kind of simple cloak with sleeves(colors vary on time of day or mission) that buttons near the upper chest at the neck and leaves the rest loose to give her access to her tools as need be. She wears a pair of black, almost knee high sandals to complete her general appearance. In regards to equipment, she often has a shuriken holster on her left leg and a series of belts around her waist that are capable of having equipment attached to them at her discretion.

Personality:
  • General: Tokoha is often seen as a mature, cool person that is highly intelligent and witty, holding an intimate knowledge on various things from wood working to jutsu theory with detours that span from cooking to tactical studies. While she doesn't give off the air of being approachable, she's often quite laid-back and playful, often teasing or flirting with those younger than her.

    However, her cool and lone demeanor often forces her to hide her personal troubles, even from her friends. She is very good at acting, having acted her way through a number of tough situations, such as getting out of trouble with academy teachers and superiors. In front of her subordinates, she is adamant in her disapproval of infighting, though she will not hesitate to stop the conflict using the most brutal methods possible.
  • Hopes/Dreams: While Tokoha keeps her hopes and dreams pretty simple and short term, she will often think about forging a big one for herself, but often waves it off after a short while since she feel it might be impossible or it's something that would completely throw her current life onto it's ass. She often ponders what it would be like to get married and have kids after seeing some other friends do it, but she doesn't understand how someone stays a shinobi when they have toddlers waiting back home. Often times, Tokoha is left to ponder how to make a regular life for herself while still being a shinobi.
  • Fears: Perhaps one of Tokoha's greatest fears is following through with a life altering experience and completely ruining her life and those involved with the decision. Much in the same respect that she wants to get married and have kids while being a shinobi, she fears that she will end up throwing away what she had for misery and heart ache. She also has reoccurring nightmares about snakes, but that's mostly because her brother loves snakes and has played pranks on her with them since childhood.
  • Combat Mentality: Pretty much the same as always, only with more swearing and snarky comments.

Zekusu is a large puppet made of wood and metal that heavily resembles a turtle save for a box shaped head with a single, vertical slit like eye that spans most of the face portion of the box. Given it's four legged posture, the highest point on the puppet is measured by it's shell giving it a height of 5 feet and given the shell being it's largest feature of mass, a width of 7 feet.

Mechanisms:
Zekusu currently has 7 mechanisms within it's body. These Mechanisms are as follows:
  • Reconfiguration Mechanism - A special mechanism developed by Tokoha, this allows her to shift Zekusu from a large turtle into two other forms. The first configuration it is capable of is called Sentinel, the puppet will take a stable stance low on the ground while opening a 90 degree section of it's shell to deploy it's Gatling Senbon Launcher from. Sentinel mode is a hardy, stationary weapon mode that functions as a defensive emplacement or battlefield control element. The second configuration it is capable of is called Land Ship(ie Tank mode), the puppet will split it's tail in half length wise while tucking it's feet under it's body, the two tail halves will than wrap around the front and back legs on it's left and right sides to create treads. The Shell will rearrange itself to create a small shielded passenger area while exposing a large Chakra Cannon that the puppet can use in this mode. A highly mobile configuration, this mode is meant to allow Tokoha to move from place to place or around the battlefield more easily while also protecting herself. Configuring from one mode to another requires a jutsu to activate. This system takes up 1 Mechanism slot.
  • Gatling Senbon Launcher - Utilized in it's Sentinel configuration, this Senbon launcher is it's sole means of offense against Tokoha's opponents. Having emerged from the an opening in the turtle shell, this launcher is capable of swiveling around in a 360 degree motion and the shell opens enough for it to point directly up if need be. This launcher is actually crafted from multiple launchers that rotate during operation, utilizing an automatic loading system from the rotation of the launcher. This launcher is capable of firing Zekusu's store of 300 senbon at it's Deftness. This launcher plus the 300 senbon take up 3 Mechanisms.
  • Chakra Cannon - Utilized in it's Land Ship configuration, this chakra fueled weapon requires Ninjutsu techniques to function. While in this configuration, the Shell has been rearranged, allowing this large cannon to be exposed and extended. This mechanism is capable of swiveling around in an attempt to fire at targets around it, but it's range is less than that of the Senbon Launcher as there is a 45 degree area on the back of the puppet that the Cannon is unable to aim at. This cannon takes up 1 Mechanism.
  • Iron Tail - Utilized in it's original configuration, Zekusu has an extendible iron tail that provides the puppet with a means of offense by stabbing and defense by rotating around the body. This tail is made up of plates that are capable of splitting down the middle when the puppet is configured into it's Land Ship Configuration. This tail's plates are half a meter wide fan like blades with a wide spade shaped blade at the end, allowing it to cut from sideways swings or stab via the tip of the tail. This tail is capable of extending up to a total of 6 meters in total and takes up 1 Mechanism.
  • Shell - The bulk of Zekusu's back, this shell is made of reinforced steel hexagonal plates taht are capable of being rearranged during use of the Reconfiguration Mechanism. Providing most of the puppet's protection and storing all of it's equipment, the Shell provides a hefty degree of protection. While in Land Ship mode, the shell will rearrange itself behind the Chakra Cannon and limit the weapon's ability to aim behind the puppet but instead provides a form of protective seating for Tokoha to sit in while the puppet is in motion as a Land Ship. This specialized Shell takes up 1 Mechanism slot.

Appearance:
Resembles a box turtle down to the very last detail. Carefully crafted, hand painted, and expertly constructed to look no different from the animals, this puppet is designed to be a mobile trap on the battlefield. While they are slow moving and easily destroyed, they are ment to be an unsuspecting surprise for Tokoha's opponents.

Kugutsu:
The Kugutsu [Puppetry] style is an old, tradition-bound style limited to Sunagakure ninjutsu only, due to the secret techniques. The user learns to utilize the tenketsu on their fingers to create strings of chakra, which can be used to control a multitude of things. Most users focus primarily on the use of puppets, wooden, or partially wooden contraptions. Puppeteers as they are called, rely on high control. Those with this concentration lose their free companion, and must use the companion ability to gain companions.
Sensor:
Sensors are shinobi who are able to activate a sixth sense which can locate and read chakra sources. Sensory is advantageous as it allows shinobi to perceive without using any of their conventional senses, which can easily be deceived. Sensors are able to collect a lot of information through the interpretation of this sixth sense.
Fuuton Affinity:
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Fuuton affinity. Fuuton has an cutting effect.

After channeling chakra into one of their fists, the user will then attempt to strike their target and if successful, they will release additional concussive force in the form of an outward explosion at D-Rank force from their fist. If the user does not strike a target within 3 posts the jutsu dissipates.

After forming a string of hand seals for this technique, Tokoha will form a smallsphere in the palm of her hand that she can proceed to throw it at her leisure. When it impacts into something, it will detonate with D rank force, moving at a Speed equal to Tokoha's Strength. This Sphere will last for a total of 3 posts and travel up to 20 meters away from her person when thrown. Upon impact or after 3 posts, the sphere will detonate on it's own.

[Ninjutsu • Foot Hold]

After performing a series of hand seals, Tokoha will release charka around her and create 2 foot wide, half a foot long flat platform of chakra around her that she can use as foothold. Primarily a means of creating a stepping stone when dealing with a large gap or when trying to avoid a fall, this foot hold platform will last for 5 posts before dissipating.

An advanced form of the Transformation Technique, after performing the correct hand seals and holding the final one temporarily, the user will coat and mold chakra around their body into the shape and form of something or someone which is no more than twice their size at a speed of 4. This technique's true advantage is that the disguise is given physical substance. This means, for example, if they transform into something with claws, they will have claws that can physically be used. For the disguises 5 post duration, if it is damaged by a hit of 16 or more strength, the disguise "poofs" from existence. This includes collateral damage caused by striking an opponent that may occur to the disguise.

Prerequisite: *[Ninjutsu • Shadow Clone Technique]
Using the same premise as Shadow Clone, only aimed towards creating a real copy of a weapon, Tokoha will throw a pair of shuriken before starting on the needed hand seals for this technique. Upon completion of the necessary seals, she will create 5 clones of each Shuriken she threw. The copy shuriken will continue along the same path as the originals, flying and striking with the same strength as the originals, and will travel to a max of 15 meters before dispersing. Upon impact, the copy shuriken will deal damage to whatever they hit before disappearing.

After performing the correct hand seals the user proceeds to create a number of clones of themselves (maximum is equal to 1/3rd the users stamina). Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies of the user in both appearance and substance. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but they will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original and any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. Given that the clones are an exact replica of the user, they share the same stats except for stamina, which is determined by the number of clones presently in effect.

This sensor jutsu is used by shinobi to feel chakra sources within a radius of 25 yards. While this jutsu is fairly helpful in sensing chakra, it is unable to actually pinpoint specific chakras outside of 10 feet. This only gives the Shinobi an idea of how many entities with chakra are present in their general area.

The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and then do an additional set of hand seals. By doing so, the user will be able to compare the “strength” of each source of chakra they are able to sense to each other. The “strength” of the individual is determined by the average of each person’s Stamina, Control and Strength stats. The user can determine who has more chakra strength than others, allowing them to pick out possible risks. This technique is not very reliable as a determining factor, however.

The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and focus on one source of chakra they can sense. By doing an additional hand seal, and holding said hand seal, the user will be able to continue to sense that source of chakra, even if they are moving around, so long as they are holding the hand seal. If they, or the chakra source, moves out of range, the user will lose track of them.

This jutsu is an extension of [Beyond Senses]. With this jutsu initiated, a sensor can focus on individual chakra signatures to get a precise idea of where their opponents are at up to 25 yards. A general sense of the direction and number of chakra sources can be determined at about 50 yards. It should be noted that this jutsu requires intense concentration, often making the user shut their eyes so they can focus on the jutsu solely. Even with high levels of Chakra Control and Instinct, this jutsu can be mentally taxing as it requires the user to sort through the individual chakra sources in the sensor’s range.

A fairly simple jutsu, this one uses the strings of chakra to carry the puppeteer's voice to the puppet, so it will sound as if the puppet is talking when in reality it is the puppeteer's words. If it is equipped with a sound vibrating device, the voice can also be changed to whatever the user wishes it to be.

By releasing less chakra into his chakra strings, Tokoha is effectively able to 'turn off' some of his chakra strings, giving them no ability to pull or retract anything. In order to accommodate this, the strings will lengthen and shorten so they don't react to anything that they are attached to. The strings can be reactivated by putting a bit of chakra into them, letting the user use them again. This can also be used to attach wires to someone, and then deactivate the wires so they aren't able to feel the wires at all until they are needed. The strings can still be removed as if they were on, though.

After channeling into her puppet, Tokoha is capable of engaging it's Reconfiguration Mechanism(RM). By activating the R, Tokoha will manipulate her puppet back into it's original Turtle form and remove any bonuses it was receiving from it's other forms. This mode lasts until the puppet is reconfigured into it's other modes.

The Puppetry Technique is a Ninjutsu technique used by puppeteers. By releasing chakra from their tenketsu, the puppeteer is able to release chakra strings from their finger. This jutsu allows the puppeteer to attach their chakra strings to inanimate, chakra-less objects at a speed of 10. These strings are able to move a max of X times 5 meters away, where X is equal to the puppeteer’s control stat. This jutsu allows the puppeteer to attach their chakra strings to humans or animals arms and legs at a speed of 5, using every part of the puppet to its max potential. In order to break out from this technique, the target must be willing to break out and at least 20 strength to resist the strings. While being controlled, the target is unable to move on their own and the puppeteer can move their arms and legs in any natural way.

Perfection of Puppetry is a Ninjutsu technique used by puppeteers. By releasing chakra from their tenketsu, the puppeteer is able to release chakra strings from their finger. These strings are able to move a max of X times 12 meters away, where X is equal to the puppeteer’s control stat. This jutsu allows the puppeteer to attach their chakra strings to humans or animals arms and legs at a speed of 10, using every part of the puppet to its max potential. In order to break out from this technique, the target must be willing to break out and have at least 25 strength to resist the puppeteer’s control. While being controlled, the target is unable to move on their own and the puppeteer can move their arms and legs in any way.

Tokoha has mastered the art of maneuvering around, over, or under obstacles while running at her maximum speed. This allows her to navigate difficult terrain more easily than most and adjust to obstacles that might try to bar her path suddenly.

After Training in her youth and maintaining constant training through the years, Tokoha is capable of using flips, spins, and maneuver around while throwing kicks and punches to attack from multiple angles while keeping on guard for counter attacks to prevent from being caught off balance.

[Advancing Guard]
D-Ranked Taijutsu Manuever
Prerequisite: [Acrobatics]
A method of avoiding a projectile attack whilst moving. Tokoha will pivot without breaking stride and, as long as her Taijutsu and Speed are high enough to react to the oncoming attack in time, step around the projectile, continuing on her original course. This allows her to maintain her original speed and level of acceleration whilst still avoiding oncoming attacks.

This technique allows Tokoha to observe a person as they are speaking, watching their lip movements and understand what they're saying from a distance or in an instance when she is incapable of hearing via genjutsu or ninjutsu sense deprivation

After practicing with her master for many years, Tokoha learned to observe her landscape and find the most effective routes and paths for travel. This allows her to plot an ingress and egress path on missions when observing a location from a decent vantage point, or find small paths that will make it hard for others to follow while she's moving at full speed or using a jutsu.

After years of training with her puppets, Tokoha is capable of aiming her Puppet's weaponry more accurately than simple eyeballing it from her point of view. This allows her to track and aim movements of her target so long as their movement patterns are predictable and while taking into account distance from her target and sudden changes in path that will affect her precision.

After studying under her master for years on the art of studying combat, Tokoha learned to observe an opponents movements to estimate a idea of how differently the enemy functions in combat. This lets her estimate approximate strength, speed, taijutsu, and reaction time as she watches them over the. This gives Tokoha a base idea of what how the person fights after she has studied them for at least 3 posts.

She is capable of backing away while fighting, letting him flip, roll, or jump away while attacking or to maneuver around obstacles while still being able to throw kicks and punches or even block incoming attacks from multiple angles while keeping on guard for counter attacks to prevent from being caught off balance.

Tokoha was the first born child of Izumi and Masamichi Matsudaira in the early days of Autumn. Her family pressed upon the importance of knowledge since a young age, teaching her every moment they got in order to impress upon her the value of knowledge over power. It was probably through this that she sought to increase her abilities as a shinobi through the use of puppetry. Insightful construction, preplanned capabilities, tactical awareness of one's surroundings, all these things and the appeal of puppetry from the other puppet users in Suna she'd seen spurned her to begin looking into training herself in the art of puppetry.

While her time in the academy was primarily spent studying and practicing, Tokoha spent a good deal of time learning how to not only learn to read what the other students were doing, but spent time studying Ninpou in order to give herself a means of handling herself in a combat situation till such a time she was capable of utilizing Puppetry.

Eventually at the time of her graduation, she was placed under the tutelage of a Jounin who not only taught her further in her chosen style of combat but how to build puppets as well. This led to her first puppet, a large turtle shaped construct of wood. While this puppet was little more than a simple senbon launching turtle, it has remained her first and foremost puppet throughout her life.

During the years she spent as a Genin, Tokoha continued to study under her master before setting out on missions all by herself. As she performed the usual slop that could be classified as D Rank missions, Tokoha found her skills not truly improving. taking on her Master's advise, she sought out a fellow Genin and set out to undertake a C Rank mission. This mission was a simple parcel delivery but it took the pair out through the desert. While they fought off wildlife more than bandits while braving the elements, the found this to be a better use of their budding skills as it let them get a proper feel for shinobi work. In short order they made their delivery, returned to the village, rested, then went back out on another mission. This process repeated for some time as they continued to due their duties as shinobi and hone their skills.

When it came time to take the Chuunin Exam, Tokoha set out with her puppet and sought to prove her mettle against another Genin. As the battle ensued, she fought against a Doton user who tried to lure her into some Sand Techniques they had been practicing. Taking advantage of her ability to outnumber her opponent and put them into the firing line of her puppet's weaponry, Tokoha eventually won but the cost of the battle cost her. The puppet she'd built and worked on for years had been crushed in the twilight hours of her Exam.

Disappointed by the destruction of her puppet but joyous in her Promotion to the rank of Chuunin, Tokoha began teaching herself the art of sensory as a means of supplementing her Puppetry talents and to help her gain a wider skill set for her shinobi career. As she filled in duty slots around the village as a guard, the teenage Chuunin began reconstruction of her puppet using metal and wood parts to help build a more durable puppet to take back into battle with her.

Because of continuously working on the puppet, she kept thinking up new ways to use the puppet and wound up going on missions without it. Mainly acting as a support for her team, helping locate threats, analyze opponents in action to find a weakness to exploit, and occasionally using her Ninpou skills to create distractions or join in the fight if needed. It was during these years she advanced to the rank of Special Jounin and in time to Jounin where she finally finished her puppet's construction.

With her puppet back in action and new smaller puppets created to help increase her ability to control the battlefield, Tokoha began taking on missions once more. Now as a Jounin, she continues to take missions and seeks to increase her knowledge of puppetry while finding a new way to increase Sunagakure's capabilities as a whole.
