- Face/head:Until his infection Kaisas hair corresponded the Toukia norm being a dark red tone, but due to his weakened state and problems processing the disease as an acedemy student patches of his hair turned grey giving him an odd look. This is one of the reasons that you will almost never encounter the young Shinobi without his face fully covered in bandages. His left eye tends to be the only thing not tucked away behind white wrappings, the bright yellow iris universally distinguishing him as a Toukai. Thus a sharp jaw line a piercing stare and a bandaged face are Kaisas most recognisable features.
- Body: Standing at an average height Kaisa has a relatively normal stature for his age. Well defined muscles and an otherwise fit build reveal Kaisa to be a trained shinobi. Due to his infection by the Viral Protocol as an academy student and the issues with bringing the transformation under control the virus has left him with grey patches of skin that depending on his transformation sprout on different parts of his body. This is the second main reason he hides himself under a layer of white bandages as he and his father both know that it would be identified as a weakness by the rest of his clan.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a dense ball of water approximately 6 centimeters in diameter in their hands. Upon lurching forward, they will release the ball towards an opponent up to 10 meters away at a speed of 6 and with a strength of 4.

Once the water is expelled, it will form an umbrella shape that is concave to the user and about two meters in diameter. The defense is shot at a speed of 5 and has a strength of 5 and unless completely destroyed it lasts for three posts before falling lifelessly to the ground.

After channeling Chiton chakra for a full post, the user will form a superficial blood-clot covering over the wound to prevent further bloodflow from it. While this cover doesn't completely heal the wound, it allows the target's body to recover from the wound naturally without agitation.

By concentrating Chiton chakra in the blood, the user thins it out, allow the user to spread it over a larger area on their body. After performing the needed hand seals, the user will get a grip on their target, causing two needles from their palms to lash out into the target, pumping their blood into the target. Follow up techniques can be utilized with this jutsu to attack the opponent from the inside out.

This chakra will help to keep the user from breathing bacteria onto a patient during procedures. This technique can be held as long as the user has chakra.

When traditional stitching supplies aren't available, *[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] truly shines. After performing a short set of handseals, the user will gently place his/her index finger at the base of the patient's wound. Once this is done, the user will lift his/her finger and touch it to the other side of the wound, causing a visible 'stitch' of chakra to appear. This is repeated until the wound has been pulled together. Although precision is key, this technique can still be performed relatively quickly. Small to moderate wounds take very little time to stitch, while large wounds will take one (1) post of work to mend. This technique drains a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attached to in order to keep the stitches going, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. Any intensive or strenuous movements will cause the stitches to break.

Typically used to make the autopsy process smoother, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Separation] technique separates the skin of the corpse from the underlying muscle. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will slowly move them over the desired area, usually holding them about an inch away from the body itself. As the chakra is channeled through the flesh, it will slowly sink to the final layer of the skin and begin to form a new layer between the skin and the muscle beneath. After this layer has fully formed, the chakra will stay there for four (4) posts, allowing the user to easily separate the flesh and muscle. This non-combat technique cannot be used on living beings as the postmortem physiology is different from that of a living creature.
*[Iijutsu • Sterilization Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
As sanitation cannot always be guaranteed in field operations, this technique provides a quick substitute to traditional sterilization methods. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel the chakra throughout his/her upper body (torso, arms, hands, face). This chakra will chew away at harmful bacteria and other foreign bodies on the skin, cleansing it until it is thoroughly sterile, and can be spread to objects, most commonly surgical tools. Of course, this takes both concentration and time, and in order to sterilize the entire upper body, it will take a duration of one (1) post. Users of this technique can also choose to sterilize certain parts of their upper body or the wounds of another person instead for a lesser concentration period. Once they are sanitized, they remain this way until coming in contact with more bacteria.

A simple yet vital medical technique, the *[Iijutsu • Bandage Technique] provides its users with the ability to create makeshift bandages out of any suitable material they desire. After channeling chakra into an object (such as a leaf, piece of cloth, etc.), the user is able to apply it to the wound of a patient. Once applied, the selected object will adhere to the flesh around the wound, protecting it from bacteria and other harmful foreign bodies. Objects used for the bandage technique are automatically sterilized in the process. These bandages drain a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attatched to in order to keep them stuck on, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. While not as effective at stopping bleeding as the [Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] technique, they hold on much better in the case that strenuous movement is necessary.

Activating this transformation also begins the user's transformation into a more feral state of mind. The user of this technique is able to do a +6/-5 boost.

Kaisas tale actually begins years before he was born, it began on the day that Kaisho Toukai first laid eyes on Ni.
It was his first day at the academy and even though it was already prophesied that he would become a great shinobi he was still very nervous. Ni was a fellow academy student and clan member and was also highly praised for her skills even at such a young age. The two almost instantly became friends and their friendship would prosper into a deep bond that the two would share for a lifetime. Helping each other past their infectious state and overcoming great dangers together as a genin team, they grew into powerful wielders of the viral protocol and powerful assets to their village, clan and family.
It was almost eighteen years after that fateful first day in the academy that the leaders of the clan made a decision to marry the pair. While Kaisho had been working hard to serve the clan, Ni had been behind her duties in the last few months. This made the council believe it was time for her to settle down and become a mother. They also hoped that the relationship would breed them powerful offsprings.
The news came as a shock, the two had never shared a romantic bond and the forced marriage and the clan's high expectations laid heavy on their shoulders. It was the same day that Ni came to Kaisho and told him of a secret that she had kept from the world until now. Ni was in love with a Kiri slave and had been having an intimate relationship with him for a few months now. Kaisho was torn between his sense of duty to the clan and his deep friendship to Ni, after a long night of discussion and debate he made the final decision that the Toukais best interest was more important that either of their personal feelings. They married the same week, and while Kaisho tried his best to be a good husband to Ni and make her happy, he knew that he never could the way that this other man had.
Slowly Ni fell into a depression and became more and more hateful towards her destiny and the clan. This was until she was told that she would soon bear a child. While the news of a baby helped her greatly to cope with her sadness, it also made her even more spiteful towards the destiny of being a Shinobi. Knowing that she could talk to no one about this not even Kaisho, Ni secretly plotted to abandon her village and raise this child far away from all the traditions, regulations and obstacles that this blood brought with it.
Sadly she would never make it so far, Kaisho had been keeping a close eye on her by demand of the council and on the night of her escape, her fellow Toukai Shinobi stopped her at the gate. Pushed into a corner she reacted like a mother would trying to protect her child and began an offense against the clan inside the village. It was the heartbroken Kaisho himself who ended up overwhelming her. Ni was placed under arrest and trialed, by Toukai law her betrayal would be punished by death. Kaisho fought long and hard against the council's decision so that at least the child would be saved, and after many meetings and due to his great influence over some of the other Shinobi his words were heard and his unborn son spared.
And so Kaisa was born, coming into this world just as his mother left it, due to the immense stress Ni had been in before the birth the child came earlier than expected and as such was weaker and frailer. Ni died holding her son in her arms, her last words baptizing the child Kaisa and shedding a tear over the fate that would await him.
The pain of her death left Kaisho in deep despair, he had lost an essential part of himself in her. It was at her funeral as he held the small child in his arms both covered as Toukai ritual demands it, in the blood of the deceased, mother and soul mate that he swore to himself that he would raise this child and protect it with his life just like Ni had done.
Kaisa actually showed talent as a potential shinobi from a young age on, he had keen instincts, a natural talent for combat and after having learned his first Jutsu nothing could stop him from living up to his Fathers reputation as a great ninja. On a social aspect, it was different. He was labeled as an outsider for being the son of a criminal. Unhindered by this, Kaisa fought on until during the academy break he was infected by the viral protocol virus.
Kaisho had feared this day, he did not know of the effects that virus would have on the frail child. Within the first week of infection, Kaisa was near death, pure willpower keeping him alive. It was then that Kaisho decided to break Toukai law and help his son master the Virus. He had studied lijutusu since his academy days and with lots of aid and tough training, Kaisa managed to bring the transformation under control just in time for his graduation. Even with all the help though the virus had left him scarred and deformed, patches of skin and hair had turned grey as if in transformation and cartilage like scales formed on his arms and legs. Thus Kaisa began hiding his clear inability to control the virus under white bandages that cover almost all his body.
And now Kaisa pushes on as a Kirigakure shinobi, labelled an outsider for reasons he himself does not understand.

They also hoped that the relationship would breed them powerful offsprings.
The news came as a shock, the two had never shared a romantic bond and the forced marriage and the clan's high expectations laid heavy on their shoulders. It was the same day that Ni came to Kaisho and told him of a secret that she had kept from the world until now. Ni was in love with a Kiri slave and had been having an intimate relationship with him for a few months now. Kaisho was torn between his sense of duty to the clan and his deep friendship to Ni, after a long night of discussion and debate he made the final decision that the Toukais best interest was more important that either of their personal feelings. They married the same week, and while Kaisho tried his best to be a good husband to Ni and make her happy, he knew that he never could the way that this other man had.
Slowly Ni fell into a depression and became more and more hateful towards her destiny and the clan. This was until she was told that she would soon bear a child. While the news of a baby helped her greatly to cope with her sadness, it also made her even more spiteful towards the destiny of being a Shinobi. Knowing that she could talk to no one about this not even Kaisho, Ni secretly plotted to abandon her village and raise this child far away from all the traditions, regulations and obstacles that this blood brought with it.
Sadly she would never make it so far, Kaisho had been keeping a close eye on her by demand of the council and on the night of her escape, her fellow Toukai Shinobi stopped her at the gate. Pushed into a corner she reacted like a mother would trying to protect her child and began an offense against the clan inside the village. It was the heartbroken Kaisho himself who ended up overwhelming her. Ni was placed under arrest and trialed, by Toukai law her betrayal would be punished by death. Kaisho fought long and hard against the council's decision so that at least the child would be saved, and after many meetings and due to his great influence over some of the other Shinobi his words were heard and his unborn son spared.
And so Kaisa was born, coming into this world just as his mother left it, due to the immense stress Ni had been in before the birth the child came earlier than expected and as such was weaker and frailer. Ni died holding her son in her arms, her last words baptizing the child Kaisa and shedding a tear over the fate that would await him.
The pain of her death left Kaisho in deep despair, he had lost an essential part of himself in her. It was at her funeral as he held the small child in his arms both covered as Toukai ritual demands it, in the blood of the deceased, mother and soul mate that he swore to himself that he would raise this child and protect it with his life just like Ni had done.
Kaisa actually showed talent as a potential shinobi from a young age on, he had keen instincts, a natural talent for combat and after having learned his first Jutsu nothing could stop him from living up to his Fathers reputation as a great ninja. On a social aspect, it was different. He was labeled as an outsider for being the son of a criminal. Unhindered by this, Kaisa fought on until during the academy break he was infected by the viral protocol virus.
Kaisho had feared this day, he did not know of the effects that virus would have on the frail child. Within the first week of infection, Kaisa was near death, pure willpower keeping him alive. It was then that Kaisho decided to break Toukai law and help his son master the Virus. He had studied lijutusu since his academy days and with lots of aid and tough training, Kaisa managed to bring the transformation under control just in time for his graduation. Even with all the help though the virus had left him scarred and deformed, patches of skin and hair had turned grey as if in transformation and cartilage like scales formed on his arms and legs. Thus Kaisa began hiding his clear inability to control the virus under white bandages that cover almost all his body.
And now Kaisa pushes on as a Kirigakure shinobi, labelled an outsider for reasons he himself does not understand.
