Naruto Saigen Roleplay

The arena has a 25m radius and is mostly comprised of grass land, trees to provide some shelter and texture to the battlefield. However, 5m from the wall surrounding the entire arena is sandy terrain. The arena is marked by a 20m high wall that is built in the shape of a doughnut, the seats are layered with ten rows running along the whole perimeter of the arena. There is a tower that is supported by pillars and columns above the northers side of the stadium, this is where the representatives of other nations are seated. The participants have the own place to wait until their turn, it is at the bottom section of the wall surrounding the battlefield and has a viewing window that allows the participants to watch fighting that take place. Akujin will begin at the eastern most point, standing directly in front of the sand. Takanobu will begin at the western most point, standing directly in front of the sand.

Akujin posts first.

Jin placed his feet just inside the sand ring that lined the outer edge of the arena area, the young man ran his left hand through his hair from left to right removing a few stray strange of the dark hair from his eyes. His deep violet eyes the only visible feature on the genin's face due to the half face mask that he wore. Breathing slowly in and out to help calm his nerves what be the boy could as he looked across the arena seeing his opponent, a Senju...one of his own village mates. The boy's left hand then reached down into his partially open left pouch, a unseen mouth on the palm of the left hand opened up and took a small bite of the soft clay as it took the clay into its mouth and started to chew. The other hand reached up to take hold of his short bladed katana that extended over the right shoulder with its braided hilt.

At the signal to start the Konoha genin dashed forward, lean forward as he did to maintain balance and speed as chakra was channeled into the mouth on the left hand and ultimately into the glob of clay that had already been split into two pieces that were starting to take distinct shapes. Drawing the blade he planned to meet the boy in the middle of the arena in an open clash to test the strength and speed of his current opponent, using a diagonal strike from above followed up with a horizontal strike to break distance afterwards. But it went deeper than that as he wished to create a close distance to release the two bird figurines that were almost complete. While his own physical strength wasn't great he had always been decently fast and had used that to cover up one of his own weaknesses.
