Challenges: Nishiki vs Leimine, Akujin, Yusuke, and Takanobu

[Ace Trainer]

The arena has a 25m radius and is mostly comprised of grass land, trees to provide some shelter and texture to the battlefield. However, 5m from the wall surrounding the entire arena is sandy terrain. The arena is marked by a 20m high wall that is built in the shape of a doughnut, the seats are layered with ten rows running along the whole perimeter of the arena. There is a tower that is supported by pillars and columns above the northers side of the stadium, this is where the representatives of other nations are seated. The participants have the own place to wait until their turn, it is at the bottom section of the wall surrounding the battlefield and has a viewing window that allows the participants to watch fighting that take place. Challenger Nishiki will begin at the eastern most point, standing directly in front of the sand. Leimine will begin at the northern most point, standing directly in front of the sand. Akujin and Yusuke will begin side by side at the eastern most point. Takanobu will begin at the southern most point.

First poster has 72 hours to respond, all following posts have 48 hours, with one [1] extension granted upon request. Please ensure you're familiar with the rules for the event. If you're currently in registry, the 72 hours begins once both participants have been approved.

phpBB [video] Nishiki stepped out of the eastern gate with grandiose and elegance; his seven grand tails and luscious long locks flowed behind him, bouncing with every step, as did his overly ornate looking kimono and hooded cloak with their golden etchings shimmering in the sun as the jounin seemingly glided out of the shadow with utter grace.

As the young, devilish, man exited into the open he followed with a grand and gallant leap across the sand only to land like a delicate petal on the other side as all his flowing extremities floated down, coming to a still as he did.

The amazing fox had arrived and he immediately began taking in the surroundings, noting that it seemed like a small forest clearing with lots of open space and a few sparse trees but most importantly there was the sand which was more or less forbidden, at least in Nishiki's eyes, though perhaps less so than the 1v1s with no ringouts or point deductions but it still made a good zone pushing them away from the walls especially himself and any grandiose jutsu he performed even if they could now touch it if they so desired. That being said there was nothing truly stopping them from entering the sand in this version of the test, just that the closer the wall they got, the more dangerous it was for the viewers which was ultimately more of a problem for Nishiki than the genin.
"So how easy do we have to go against these pathetic wretches?" an inner, demonic voice spoke up within the Tsukino's mind as he made his grand entrance.
"Well we can't kill them, that's for sure" the pink haired man replied rather coyly
"though I am sure we can still have a bit of fun!" he exclaimed with a very physically real snicker, which to onlookers may appear as madness.
"Yet they are instructed to attack as if you are a must kill threat" Yoshimitsu scoffed in rebuttal.

As the man took in his surroundings, seemingly snickering to himself as a big grin formed, a booming sound roared through the arena as spectators within the walls had fully settled.
"BEGIN!!!" boomed the announcement, signalling the start of the exam.
phpBB [video] With that Nishiki slowly made some steps forwards as he reached in his pouch with a glowing hand, pulling out a teru teru bozu doll and holding it up to the sky before blasting it up into the air at a full 40 speed.
"do you seriously need that?" questioned the ominous genma within.
"not at all but with this we can have a bit more fun, plus I wonder what the kiddos will make of it" the jinchuuriki joyfully replied.
"besides..." a thought trailed off into what was to become real words soon enough as the doll burst across the sky.

Nishiki came to a stop and closed his eyes as he looked to the skies with his arms spread wide, as rain washed over him.
"who doesn't love a nice bit of rain!?" he called out in an almost twisted glee, this time in real words everyone could hear.
"Tch!" a simple, yet resounding moan echoed throughout his mind in return as if to signal 'only you, you stupid idiotic twat', which simply put an even bigger grin on his face.

With the rain precisely covering the 20m confines of the area within the sand, the Tsukino simply stood there all seemingly defenceless as he took in the tingling images he picked up from the rain.
What would the genin make of it indeed? No doubt the onlookers immediately became disappointed in how drab it had become but that was none of his concern.

Area Awareness

Nishiki has trained his sense of spatial awareness so that he can not only constantly remain vigilant of what is around him with great skill, but is also able to expand it further so that details of his surrounding environment come to him naturally and easily. This means he can more easily figure out the space he can manoeuvre and generally work in, even in wide areas which is particularly useful for using wide scoping jutsu and kinesis

Suiton • Rainy Day

The user will channel suiton chakra into a weather doll and send it into the sky at [control] speed, whereupon reaching cloud height the chakra will disperse and cause a light rain to fall for 5 posts within a 10m radius whilst causing the doll to fall back to earth along with it. This rain doesn't do much of anything besides make everything wet just like any ordinary rain and once it has began, attacking the Teru Teru Bozu will not stop it as the chakra is already dispersed into the sky.

40 control speed but limiting the size boost from +70m to just +10 so it covers 20m total.

Kitsune no Kao:
After merging with a fox, a Tsukino inherits many of the fox’s own physical features and potential. This takes the form of a small amount of the fox's features, namely a pair of fox-like ears and fox-like tails which multiply as their own powers grow (3 tails at Chuunin, 5 at Jounin, 9 at Bannin or Kage).

The main ability of these foxes however are their extrasensory systems. A Tsukino’s ears are laced with vibration sensitive fur that forms the basis of a network of sensory paths in their brain, allowing them to feel nearby vibration as a form of sonar-sight. This works only in a small space around them but is greatly enhanced by nearby water as the liquid vibrations carry cleanly to their ears, allowing them to hear disturbances to water especially well. Even masses of vapor such as mist transmit such vibrations well.

Without adequate water a Tsukino’s sense extends around them for (Stat Total/10) meters and can form rudimentary shapes and images in that radius but no further. Vibrations caused by water being interacted with, or vibrations traveling through water, can project much further and more clearly, up to (Stat Total/5) meters out.

This advantage comes with it's own downside. Much as a normal person can be blinded with intense light a Tsukino’s sense can be temporarily shorted out by intense noises. Techniques that cause conflicting vibration can also dampen their senses, but these can be overcome using techniques

Feel the Rain
D-Rank Stance
Nishiki will stop and put his vibration senses to the task by focusing on the rain around him, feeling the vibrations moving through the rain within up to (Stat Total/5) meters just as usual. This helps him zone in specifically on the shapes and movements that he picks up specifically from the rain, giving him a basic layout of what the rain touches and how things are moving through it.

Yusuke stood across from his opponent in the team battle. His allies certainly seemed to be more powerful, and presumably more aware of what kind of danger the foxy, tailed rival had in store for them. With no blade on his person, Yusuke would be at a typical disadvantage, unable to offensively maneuver as he might usually, and dedicated his efforts to defensive support in the team.

The classical Ketsueki fangs poked through the crease of his lips, and Yusuke silently gestured for his ally to take the first step. Holding his hand up, Yusuke crossed two fingers horizontally along his wrist, and stuck his tongue out in the direction of his ally. The Genki Star was exposed on his tongue, a black 6-pointed star encricled with calligraphic Fuuin marking. The border glowed green, and faint red flashed around the large circumference.

Their rival in the meantime, threw what looked like a dolly into the air. The toy figurine flew with blinding speed, high into the sky with rainfall following in its wake.

Speaking with an accent, Yusuke spoke to his ally. "Well, the odds of our match might be more one sided than it would seem." Yusuke threw his hood over his head, and stealthily meandered under the canopy of the trees ahead of the starting point.

Keeping his distance within 10 meters, Yusuke flanked the ally that he had been standing next to; following him to provide support and avoid any direct conflicts with the furry shinobi.

Akujin had entered at his appointed gate position, accompanied by a fellow genin who hailed from the village Hidden in the Mist. A Kirigakure shinobi whom at any otger time would have been considered to have been an adversary but today was one of his three allies in the exhibition match. They had all fought in the earlier genin matches and had the basic grasp of their power now and that of the other villages genin but now that faced a new opponent.

Their opponent entered short after the masked genin and his three counterparts did, except in a much more elegant and flamboyant manner that even took Aku back some what. This fighter didn't really dress like any other shinobi he'd ever met but that was rhe last thing honestly that crossed the young man's mind when he took in the fighter. "Is he some kind of dog guy?" Jin was rather inexperienced in knowledge of other villages and their houses or clan and thus the fox guy before him left him kinda in a bit of a daze as he spoke outloud but moreso to himself than his close ally.

"One, two, three..." Besides the ears the thing or perhaps things that drew his attention to Nishiki was the Kiri nin's long beautiful set of tails. Just who or what was this guy? The kiddo was indeed a bit confused and had himself snapped back into the moment as their foe stepped forward and three what he was only able to glimpse at to be something in the manner of a doll high into the sky. 'Rain?' Could the shinobi actually be able to affect the local weather? It was like he was experiencing and learning something new almost every moment as he shifted his gaze to the side as his own hands moved in a blur unraveling his custom clan scroll with the brush being skillfully removed from one end of it. "Let's find out!"

Akujin replied to the comment from Yusuke as he rapidly stated to draw as his own movement moved him just under the protection of the same trees small canopy. In only a few moments the brush had outlined a trio of life like animals upon the parchment as the brush hand fronted a one handed seal with the brush still in hand. A large crocodile and two long snakes leaped off the pages growing to true-to- life sizes as they did so. Two five meter snakes slithered through the grassy arena slowly while the large five meter reptile rushed ahead of the snakes. Luckily his own ink was a special suiton based ink that was uneffected by the rain created by the jounin. 'Lets see if I can tie him up any...'

Super Beast Imitating - Snake x2

Using chakra-infused ink, the user can quickly and expertly draw a snake onto their scroll. The moment the brush is removed from the scroll the image will leap from the paper growing to life-size of up to five meters in length and will attempt to bite and bind the target(s). This construct gains a speed equal to [Control/2] and strength equal to [Control x1.5] and last four posts.

Super Beast Imitating - Crocodile

Requirement: Suiton based ink
Using chakra-infused ink, the user can quickly and expertly draw an crocodile like anime onto their scroll. The moment the brush is removed from the scroll the image will leap from the paper growing to life-size of up to five meters in length and attempt to bite the target and hold them in its jaws thrashing them about. This construct gains a speed and strength equal to [Control], also being able to move at it's normal speed in and out of the water. Lasting four posts.

Super Beast Imitating - Multi Beast
C-rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Lower rank Beast Imitating technique
Using chakra-infused ink, the user can quickly and expertly draw a three matching animals onto their scroll. The moment the brush is removed from the scroll, the images will leap from the paper, grow to life-size as described in their technique, and act according to the user's will based on the animal type. Last 6 posts.

A rock fell from the sky and knocked Takanobu unconscious, eliminating him from the competition.

Leimine would immediately perform her clan's unique nintaijutsu, synchronizing with her spirit twin and manifesting a phantom image of Azir behind her. The construct had a durability and strength equal to Leimine's maximum control. She'd charge toward Nishiki planning to act as the vanguard for the assault party. She had no clue how the others fought but she hoped they'd be able to work well together to take on this high level challenger.

As she charged forward she saw the doll float into the sky. She stopped her charge and moved to stand between Nishiki and and the starting point of her allies for the challenge planning to use her body and the construct to buffer any blast if they moved forward behind her. However, to her surprise all the doll did was make it rain in the arena.

"A little rain never hurt anyone, but it'd be a fools gamble to think this rain is ordinary. Proceed but do so with caution." Azir's voice rang in her head as she moved to resume her approach. She kept a distance of about 10 meters from the target and drew her daggers in an ice pick grip and held her arms in front of her in a boxing style guard, hips rotated slightly for a solid foundation but still presenting a smaller target.

Nishiki noted the Suna's cautious approach and curious summon of sorts as he cast his rain jutsu, then he took in everyone's movements and shapes as the droplets cast down on the younguns.

Amusingly it seemed one didn't even get a chance as a rock fell on then and knocked them unconscious, whereas the others immediately took solace in the cover of some of the sparse trees as they immediately became suspicious of the change in weather.

The Tsukino was then further amused by the movements of one that seemed to conjure up some beauties, though he couldn't be certain without looking he was certain that 2 of them were at least snakes given the shapes of their movement and that the bigger animal was making a charge.

With a grin the jounin opted to stay stationary for the moment but thought to surprise the kiddos as he pulled out another doll and flooded it with chakra. As the magenta glow of channelling filled it with raiton, so too did the similarly fashioned miniature lightning elemental begin to tremble (refer to new genma description for base form).

After a moment Nishiki held the doll out and it surged in size and started shrieking like a shrill sounding ghost, bursting in the crocodile's direction as he seemed so nonchalant about the situation and not truly paying attention to the beast.

Given the amount of control put into it the raiton should hit as a match for the creation, moving with its own 20 strength and speed as it wailed in a piecing scream.

Raiton • Shocking Screamer Doll
C-Ranked Raiton Jutsu
The user will channel raiton chakra into a weather doll causing it to grow to about 30cm in diameter where it will then shot forward at [control] speed.
The doll will appear and sound like a deranged, wailing ghost as it travels along with 1m long bolts of lightning continuously shooting out all around it.
The lightning strikes with [control] strength as the ghost moves along its path for 25m, each bolt crackling and screeching causing a ghostly wailing sound.
