Round 2: Genin Bouts: Leimine vs Ico

[Ace Trainer]

The arena has a 25m radius and is mostly comprised of grass land, trees to provide some shelter and texture to the battlefield. However, 5m from the wall surrounding the entire arena is sandy terrain. The arena is marked by a 20m high wall that is built in the shape of a doughnut, the seats are layered with ten rows running along the whole perimeter of the arena. There is a tower that is supported by pillars and columns above the northers side of the stadium, this is where the representatives of other nations are seated. The participants have the own place to wait until their turn, it is at the bottom section of the wall surrounding the battlefield and has a viewing window that allows the participants to watch fighting that take place. Leimine will begin at the eastern most point, standing directly in front of the sand. Ico will begin at the western most point, standing directly in front of the sand.

The judges for this bout will be [Asawari, Taeko; Onu], [Shirayuki; Kumiko; Seiken] and [Takuya, Minori; Kabu]

Leimine took off toward her opponent on the opposite side of the arena at full speed. Once again Azir was shadow summoned and was clinging to her back just below her right shoulder, acting as an extra pair of eyes to help her detect traps. She'd draw a singular dagger as she charged forward and would begin charging chakra in her left hand preparing a jutsu as she approached.

The user will channel for a brief moment, then throw their hand forward. From their hand a small burst of sand will form, swarming around anything directly in front of their hand. This is often used to blind and surprise opponents to make a quick escape.

Ico stood at the western point of the arena, this was now the second time he’d stepped foot in this fighting pit and a new opponent was stood in front of him. The woman much older than the young genin, obviously more experienced and showed light work of her last opponent.

End this quick. said the looming voice only he could hear.

The small framed genin, took his orders and nodded.

A klaxon rang out to indicate the bout could begin. Unsheathing his large blade, he gripped the handle with both hands and charged forward at a rapid speed, the woman was coming directly towards him, likely to deliver a head on attack. However Ico didn’t meet her in the middle, he torqued the muscles in his arms and slammed his blade into the ground ripping up the earth with tremendous speed and strength for such a small young man, this barrage of earth would hurtle forward and attempt to meet the oncoming woman and slam her out of the arena in one fell swoop and end the battle as soon as possible.

Momentarily torquing their muscles in their arms, the practitioner slams their weapon's blade or tip down into the ground then rips it back through the ground, this will create a shockwave beneath the earth ripping up the ground, producing sharp sturdy rocks that are 5 meters wide and high, moving forward in a straight line at a speed equal to the users [Strength] and a distance of the users [Strength]x2.
