Exhibition: Taiga vs Nishiki

[Ace Trainer]

The arena has a 25m radius and is mostly comprised of grass land, trees to provide some shelter and texture to the battlefield. However, 5m from the wall surrounding the entire arena is sandy terrain. The arena is marked by a 20m high wall that is built in the shape of a doughnut, the seats are layered with ten rows running along the whole perimeter of the arena. There is a tower that is supported by pillars and columns above the northers side of the stadium, this is where the representatives of other nations are seated. The participants have the own place to wait until their turn, it is at the bottom section of the wall surrounding the battlefield and has a viewing window that allows the participants to watch fighting that take place. Taiga will begin at the eastern most point, standing directly in front of the sand. Nishiki will begin at the western most point, standing directly in front of the sand.

The judges for this bout will be Nu, Sha, and Ji (all judges will be controlled by Onu sicne he's not participating in this event and it will expedite the process (maybe))

Nishiki? That's the guy old man Raikage body bagged out on Soul right? The old man actually had a lot of praise for the kid, said he was brave... said not even many bannin would rush him like they did.

No matter the village, sounds like you Jinchuuriki brat are just alike... Suu teased him.

Taiga would enter the stadium as usual with a boisterous beckoning to the crowd. Truth be told, he wasn't sure he would be able to really beat Nishiki. Of all the Konoha ninja in his generation, he was the least "upfront powerful" type. Be it the fate of him being the Earth Jinchuuriki, or his personality, Taiga had grown to quite an indirect way of fighting... something more akin to being a support role in most battles and missions.

Remind me to learn a Genjutsu that paralyzes people or something.

"So then, Nishiki of Kirigakure. Taiga called out as he began to move around the edge of the ring building speed, his tailwind forming behind him.

"Wanna make a wager?"

Exactly how he wound up being the representative for Konoha he'd never know, but hey, he could maybe have some fun.

Konoha no Senken • Tailwind
B-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
Required: [Heavenly Body Control]
The Flying Swallow Style developed by the Sarutobi family is a NinTai style. To circumvent the need for ninjutsu in Konoha no Senken, practitioners instead use their own explosive movements to bend the wind around their body and create a powerful tailwind behind them. While they move, this tail wind violently circulates around their body, building up pressure. Each post the the user is consecutively moving forward at a minimum of [Speed]/2, the wind gains [Speed]/2 strength. It can be used as a shield to protect the user, or through the use of another technique can be released. The maximum amount of times the technique can gain speed is 2 times. If the user stops moving or drops below [Speed/2] for more than a post the wind dissipates.

phpBB [video] Nishiki strode into the arena in his immaculate black kimono and its royal golden etchings and his cloak, both flowing back with his luscious long hair and seven grand tails which seemed to bounce with every step.

As he stepped out he instantly took in the familiar plains-like environment and the small number of trees, his eyes noting the sand ring and his ears noting the sounds of an audience.

For a brief moment the jinchuuriki truly absorbed everything as 5 tiny elemental dolls ambiantly floated around him, one of each affinity, though they weren't truly living beings despite how they seemed.

Then he finally noted his opponent as the man also stepped in the ring opposite of him; an interesting man supposedly known as Taiga who seemed to be leaking some kind of smoke with every breath.

Once both competitors were in position the match began and with great haste at that; Taiga pushed round the edge of the arena as some kind of wind whipped up out of seemingly nowhere, which truly made the Tsukino curious as he wondered how it came to be.

However he could not stay still and began to run in a similar fashion to his opponent, pushing in the same direction as if fleeing.
"a wager you say?" he replied with great intrigue "shishishi, go on" he chuckled almost like a true sinister fox.

Suddenly Nishiki turned around as a flurry of handseals completed and he aimed towards his foe's running path, curious to see if the wind had any fuuton properties or not as a large stream of fire burned through the air in a spreading cone shape at full blast.

Area Awareness
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Nishiki has trained his sense of spatial awareness so that he can not only constantly remain vigilant of what is around him with great skill, but is also able to expand it further so that details of his surrounding environment come to him naturally and easily. This means he can more easily figure out the space he can manoeuvre and generally work in, even in wide areas which is particularly useful for using wide scoping jutsu and kinesis.

After performing the correct hand seals the user draws in a deep breath before exhaling out a cone that is up to five meters long and three meters wide at it's base. The cone travels at a speed equal to [Control] and impacts with a strength equal to [Control].

40 control= 40 strength, 40 speed and 80m spread but restricted to fit within the arena.

[Taiga]

Taiga would keep moving at a relatively high speed as his eyes were on his opponent. "I wager I win." he said with a smug grin as his eyes danced around wildly as he trotted confidently around the edge. His opponent seemed to be the aggressive type deciding to make the first move- but unfortunately for him he could not have been more telegraphic. The faintest twitches in his arms, his hands as they begin to sign. Taiga's grin turned to a solemn expression. He was a caster. He also had to face the direction of his jutsu, which tipped Taiga off on its path. His deep breath could mean only one thing- and something Taiga knew very well being both a Sarutobi and a Konoha ninja.

He was about spit some super hot fire. Taiga instantly began to pivot, and as the flames launched, went the opposite direction before beelining straight for the man. At his top speed, meters were fractions of a seconds. The kouton chest piece on his body sank into them him as Taiga turned into a composite of pure steel and stone and he hurdled towards the man, who was mid cast of his mighty fireball. It was a cone, which made it particularly easier to dodge, cause once one dodged the mouth of a cone, it got remarkably more narrow the closer and closer to the caster.

Stoping on his heel and rocketing forward yet again, his whole force and weight, which was considerably heavier after assimilation, would be thrown into a single palm-strike at the mans chest, through the small beam of fire left in the small gap between them in a move similar to that of the famous Hyuuga Jyuuken.

Flying Swallow • Birds of Prey
S-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
Prerequisite: 50 Willpower, [Perception]
With immense willpower and perception skills, Taiga has trained himself to be one with his environment much like birds of prey. Able to keep his focus in all situations with great pose he is cognizant of subtle details around him, capable of honing in on the slightest changes of air or even the smallest movements in the fibers of an opponents clothes, allowing him to pick up on their movement and predict it before it is complete. This can also be used outside of combat for lip reading, or even guessing what someone writes by watching the eraser of the pencil etc. This causes him to seem rather ADD at times as his eyes rapidly tracking movements around him. A downfall to this technique however is that while his eyes and brain may be aware of movement, his body is not always capable of knowing and keeping up. Meaning he has to be physically capable still of responding to threats or capitalizing on weaknesses, even if he perceives them.

Konoha no Senken • Dance of the Falling Leaf/b]
B-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
The only limit to the speed of which Taiga control his body, via rapid acceleration or assimilation, is the speed in which his mind can physically send the impulse to his body to do so. With Taiga's high body control, he has trained and honed his mind and body to be as one, capable of reacting near the speed of thought in terms of controlling himself. This allows him to create interesting attacks by rapidly changing his movement patterns while fighting.

After making contact with an eligible piece of solid matter, Taiga will utilize his Genma abilities to assimilate multiple materials at once, or add more materials to his current assimilation, allowing his body to become a composite of the multiple materials at once. After assimilation, he is able to "phase through" or "merge through" objects matching the materials he has assimilated. This technique must be used with a discipline for the appropriate material he is merging with.

Konoha no Senken • Palm Succession
C-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
Required: Konoha no Senken • Tenketsu
Inspired by the Jyuuken of the Hyuuga, the practitioner drops low then lunges in with an upward palm-strike at the opponents Solar Plexus, delivered with full force, moving their entire body into it and pushing up with their leg. If the opponent has less [Endurance] than the practitioner's [Strength], they will have the breath knocked out of them, causing them to have difficulty breathing for the next 3 posts. If the opponent also has less [Strength] than the practitioner, they will also be launched into the air at a rate of 1 meter per stat difference in the practitioners favor. If the opponent has at least 10 less [Strength] than the practitioner, this causes internal damage to their lungs which can be severely debilitating and potentially fatal.

Nishiki wasn't overly surprised his opponent escaped his jutsu even with how wide it was, though he was shocked to see him use metal and then charge through the flames.

At first he was curious how a man from Konoha could do such a thing but he had zero time to dwell on such thought, thus he started to move back with the flow as the heavy fisted man charged in with a powerful palm strike.

However there was only so little the fox could achieve give the situation and surprising speed, as such the strike still hit true if even neutered the tiniest but from trying to move with it rather than against and he was sent flying back and up into the air as blood splattered out of his mouth.

As the Tsukino zoomed into the air like a wheezing balloon, he still had to think fast and push past as much as he could and instinctively began glowing magenta with the hint of channelling before a whirl of wind formed around him and streamed out from his back.

With the dancing wisps of air Nishiki slowed down and took control of his flight and spiralled back round to be over the battlefield as far as he could, his hand clutching at his chest as he tried to somehow breath properly.

If he didn't go with the flow of the attack, the already disastrous damage could've been truly catastrophic and logic would dictate he surrendered but he wanted to make some kind of push back and not appear like a total pushover.
phpBB [video] Although it was near dizzying the Kiri ninja decided he had to go all out to have a chance, thus there in the air his stomach seal began to glow and a massive surge of magenta chakra erupted.

As soon as the chakra appeared it was gone and all condensed into a grey colour, instantly veiling a now transformed beast with various boney appendages that made him look like a miniature version of Yoshimitsu to those in the know.

Along with all the sticky out ribs, hips, elbows, crown, spiny whip-like tails and black orbs the 5 mini elementals also doubled in size (albeit still rather small) and were now 15 in number with 5 of them seemingly dancing around the beast's crown.

With a strange gurgling grunt and possibly out of frustration and desperation, the genma shaped man painfully held out his hands and started gathering an intense amount of chakra as he now aimed down at the arena with still dizzying vision as an erratic ball of energy began to form at his palms.

Evasive Combat
B-Ranked Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Nishiki will move in an elusive manner and throw out necessary blocks to avoid an opponent's attacks in a deflective manner as he then comes in with slippery, swift strikes and jabs in counter to their moves and in attempt to deal quick, light damage in delicate open areas.
As this combat continues Nishiki will also try and stay distant to the opponent, moving back as they move in on him, staying mostly defensive and slipping in his own attacks when openings present themselves in attempt to be as evasive as possible and potentially wear out the opponent as most of their attacks are avoided and pushed along their own energy arcs away from himself.

Fuuton • Up Up and Away
A-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
Nishiki will channel fuuton charka all around his body causing a small whirl of wind to surround him at [control] speed. This wind will spread out behind him like an intricate dance of streams that appear almost like wings that flow off into the distance and in turn will begin to lift the user up into the air.
Once the wind trails are formed and Nishiki has been lifted he can then freely move about with perfect flight following the flight rules for 10 posts.

Form 4 Ascended: Having completly mastered the Genma, the host is able to actively and instantly enter into this state and any of it's predecessors. While indistinguishable from Form 4, Form 4 Ascended is slightly stronger than it's predecessor. Additionally, the host has access to all Genma skills while in Form 0

Suiton • Katon • Fuuton • Raiton • Doton • Ultimate Phantom Beast Bomb; Enveloping Burning Slicing Shocking Endurer

Prequisites: Form 4 or Higher Basic Genma
Nishiki will form Suiton, Katon, Fuuton, Raiton and Doton chakra together into a single, chaotic ball of energy with a base 100cm diameter which he will then blast out at [control] speed. This ball will then explode after traveling a base 80m or upon impact with [control] strength of force, spreading chaotic energy that envelops, ignites/burns, cuts and shocks everything caught within the explosion The strength of the passives is reduced as such the energy envelops, ignites/burns, cuts and shocks as if the strength and speed was -10. The energy also has the enduring effect of Doton, lasting on everything caught by it, except due to the weakened state of the passive it decays by 5 strength per post until it fully fades.

[Taiga]

Taiga's strike wouldn't just land, it would draw blood and the ferocious hit would throw the Kiri shinobi straight into the air. It would of potentially killed him too- but he had managed to move enough to probably break some ribs rather than have his heart injured. A small grin came over Taiga, who wasn't finished yet. He didn't stop moving, he never did. This was not the way of Konoha no Senken which taught its practitioners always stayed in movement, fluidly advancing on the opponent. The moment his opponent was launched into the air, Taiga continued after him advancing, and into the air following him as he lept, chakra propelling him further into the air so he could track and keep up with Nishiki.

"I'm not just going to let you run" Taiga exhaled as he continued the advance, landing next to Nishiki. He dropped to a low crouch with his hands out as suddenly he once more aimed to jam a palm into the opponents kidney area- towards the side and back, and his other palm into Nishiki's leg- just in time for the massive violent blast of Magenta chakra to expel from Nishiki as bones and armor began to form around him.

Taiga knew all too well what was happening- and though his instinct said to continue his attack and end Nishiki before he could transform- part of him had begun to smirk. Was this going to be his first chance to ever fight Genma v Genma? At the last moment, he feinted his attack and lept back, as he too began to transform.

Takeo is going to be pretty pissed I showed this off.

Smoke expelled around Taiga filling the immediate area around him. The sound of cackling electricity and the boom of thunder cried out in the air, as if lightning struck the smoke cloud as suddenly from within the smoke a massive titan formed. The skin of the titan seemed sickly and grey, and it's head missing from the mouth up as if nothing but smoke existed on its face. Thick black chakra laced its body like clothing, and on its back formed even larger masses, wings, that were almost insect-like in nature.

Nishiki was beginning to form a jutsu- a very small ball. Taiga's hands sealed as he struck the ground, the move alone had enough force to shake the ground, but with the jutsu he was casting, it would be devastating to Nishiki. If he even managed to continue casting that Jutsu, Taiga would be surprised. But there was no way in hell he'd be able to aim it.

Taiga would be at the ready the second his heel struck the ground, prepared to take flight at a moments notice, or to slither away into the ground if need be.

Konoha no Senken • Tempo
D-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
Drawing it's inspiration from the famed ever advancing movement of Konoha's Gouken, Konoha no Senken practitioners ingrain in-themselves a way of positioning and moving their body that constantly advances upon the opponent, allowing attack after attack fluidly and giving the opponent little option to flee. Practitioners are ultimately capable of using this way of advancing on their opponent to control the tempo of the battle and move it where they desire, causing interruption to opponent defensive stances.

D-Rank Ninjutsu
By channeling chakra into his feet, Taiga will cause his foot to release a controlled blast of chakra from it's bottom equal to a D-Rank explosion. A clever technique, the force created by the weak explosion gives his foot enough resistance to push off of seemingly thin air, allowing him to "spring" himself up.

Form4 Ascended
Having mastered the Genma to some length, the host is able to actively enter into this state and any of it's predecessors at ease. While indistinguishable from Form 4, Form 4 ascended is slightly stronger than it's predecessor. Additionally the host may now use skills from Form 1,2,3 and 4 while in Form 0

After phasing a body part into a source of material (usually the ground) and channeling into it Taiga will tap into the power of the Earth Genma and release a massive volatile burst of his chakra. This chakra causes the surface of any material he is phased into to shake violently in a 25-meter radius with Taiga at the epicenter. This lasts for up to 3 posts if not released. During this period opponents with less [Endurance] than Taiga's [Control] will be unable to balance their body, preventing movement and knocking them to the ground. Those very weak are generally thrown around like a rag doll while those with an equal Endurance find themselves just barely able to move. Of course those with greater Endurance than Taiga's [Control] can adequately control their body allowing them to move as per usual.

Taiga was quite amazing and even struck Nishiki's leg without him realising at first, then all the smoke around the man intensified much like his own chakra as he looked upon the man from above.

"Thought so" a groaning, menacing voice piqued up mentally causing confusion within the host.
"What?!" the Tsukino suddenly blurted with a gargle of blood, not necessarily at his foe's own transformation but more of distracted confusion in response to the voice.

"Sukairaaaaa!" the voice turned more demonic as if calling out despite only being mental.
"Let me take over before you lose to that..."Yoshimitsu began to demand when the powerful surge from Taiga's transformation hit.

The pressure truly overwhelmed Nishiki and his senses, causing his jutsu to simply pop as he spiralled backwards through the air with more gutteral groans.
"Tch... Still not up to scratch..." the inner genma voice trailed off in utter disappointment as the boy's consciousness dragged him down with him.

After a moment of tumbling and spiralling with a disentigrating jinchuuriki aura as pink embers peeled away, Nishiki thudded into the ground and skidded into the sand as his own transformation burst apart and he lay unconscious with the extent of spat up blood clearly visible.

At this point the judges would surely intervene and declare victory to Taiga whilst medics rushed to assess both parties, though more particularly the young fox who certainly needed it the most.

[Taiga]

Taiga was glad he had aborted his taijutsu strikes- if he had stayed close and persisted in that battle he might of been hit with whatever that beast bomb the fox had been cooking up was. Taiga bit his lip as he watched the man fly about, tossed like a ragdoll till finally, he landed in the sand. Releasing his jutsu, he would quickly hurry over to his opponent.

"You uh, okay?" he'd say as, just like his opponent, his cloak and beastly form would fade until he was just a man, his hand outstretched to the other one.

With Nishiki no longer able to fight, the judges found they had little to rule on. These fights were going easily! Nu would stand this time, "And Taiga wins, points for Konoha."
