EXhibition: Proximus vs Nishiki

[Ace Trainer]

The arena has a 25m radius and is mostly comprised of grass land, trees to provide some shelter and texture to the battlefield. However, 5m from the wall surrounding the entire arena is sandy terrain. The arena is marked by a 20m high wall that is built in the shape of a doughnut, the seats are layered with ten rows running along the whole perimeter of the arena. There is a tower that is supported by pillars and columns above the northers side of the stadium, this is where the representatives of other nations are seated. The participants have the own place to wait until their turn, it is at the bottom section of the wall surrounding the battlefield and has a viewing window that allows the participants to watch fighting that take place. Proximus will begin at the eastern most point, standing directly in front of the sand. Nishiki will begin at the western most point, standing directly in front of the sand.

The judges for this bout will be Nu, Sha, and Ji (all judges will be controlled by Onu sicne he's not participating in this event and it will expedite the process (maybe))

Proximus posts first.

Between his bout with the genin and now, Proximus had been healed up fully... well, almost. New scars, red and irritated, were present on his body from where he had been injured earlier, left on purpose of course. The samurai guards were quick to remind him that he had, more or less, crossed the line already but would be made to continue his exhibition matches as scheduled before being taken away forever. So he still had some time in the sun, if only to fight in combat. Something else that had been stressed to him was that what he would face next was not some inexperienced genin, but instead highly trained shinobi. He was thus subsequently told that the need to hold back was much less important. Fine by him.

Now that the match was beginning, after his chains had been removed once again, Proximus was eager to get back out in the sun for one of the last times. Being that he was allowed out into the arena first and thus had time to prepare himself, the giant masked man would simply assume a squat stance, kite shield planted in front of him, buckler drawn back and ready to react as needed. He would stare out with shaded eyes across the arena towards his opponent and wait for the many-tailed fox boy to come to him. There was no rush and no need for him to make the first move. He could simply stand and enjoy the warmth of the sun until it was needed to strike.

phpBB [video] Nishiki strode into the arena in his immaculate black kimono and its royal golden etchings and his cloak, both flowing back with his luscious long hair and seven grand tails which seemed to bounce with every step.

As he stepped out he instantly took in the familiar plains-like environment and the small number of trees, his eyes noting the sand ring and his ears noting the sounds of an audience.

For a brief moment the jinchuuriki truly absorbed everything as 5 tiny elemental dolls ambiently floated around him, one of each affinity, though they weren't truly living beings despite how they seemed.

With the environment absorbtion also came the opponent, as the brutalised looking man simply stepped out and stood behind his large shield which was peculiar to the young fox.

Nishiki watched for a brief moment until he simply put the man down as a highly defensive type, which he wasn't sure of the best way to go about things given the man was basically begging for him to make the first move and that he knew he wasn't the most powerful as if yet.

With those in mind the Tsukino knew he couldn't just brute force into such a foe, thus he simply began calmly walking forwards as magenta signs of channelling glowed down to his feet.
Then as he approached the centre he bowed with a delightful grin and tapped his foot on the dirt floor, from which a huge torrent of flame spread at 40 strength and speed across the entire arena right up to the inner edge of sand and rose up to 14m high.

Aside from not touching the forbidden sand, the only spared area was to be where Nishiki stood at the time as he swiftly began to channel for another jutsu as he reached out towards the fire preparing to take control of it.

Area Awareness
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Nishiki has trained his sense of spatial awareness so that he can not only constantly remain vigilant of what is around him with great skill, but is also able to expand it further so that details of his surrounding environment come to him naturally and easily. This means he can more easily figure out the space he can manoeuvre and generally work in, even in wide areas which is particularly useful for using wide scoping jutsu and kinesis.

Katon • Ground Ablaze
C-Rank Ninjutsu
The user will channel katon chakra and slam on the ground with their foot and cause a massive stream of fire to erupt along the ground all around them at [control] speed and strength. This fire spreads out in a 25 metre radius around the user and reaches up to 5 feet in height for up to 4 posts.

40 control but keeping range within the arena limits with size boosted per rules.

As Nishiki calmly walked forward towards the center of the arena, Proximus would stand still and wait. Unmoving. Unflinching. He, took, looked upon his opponent with those elegant robes he himself would never wear and full tails that bounced behind him. What a carefree air this young shinobi put off! It was only when Nishiki went on the offensive that his opponent would react, leaping high into the air, easily twenty meters, over the oncoming flames and towards the center of the arena from a standing position! (50 Speed)

From the height of his jump arch, Proximus would come crashing down towards the flaming fox buckler first, intent on smashing into the shinobi and either pinning him to the ground or just flat out rupturing the center of the arena should he miss! (40 Strength). Meanwhile, his kite shield was held aloft in the air and over his body, a protective covering from behind just in case anything unusual came at him that he couldn't see coming. The positioning of his shields for attack and defense were fluid, nearly flawless, an easy depiction of the experience he had in the ring.

Nishiki was pleasently surprised to see his opponent make such a massive leap with his big shields, though that did mean the man was going on the offensive and so the fox made a few quick handseals as he made a dive towards the flames.

The flames parted as the jounin reached out to it and moved into a kind of tuck and roll that just about dodged the incoming crash; the fire moved in unison as his body fluidly twisted and sprang back up in a spin.

The Tsukino's hands and even some tails flicked every which way as fire all around surged towards the crashing man from every angle possible, all whilst flowing around the man commanding it as he steadily walked backwards with great balance counteracting any of the reverberations and shattering ground.

Nishiki wasn't sure how much effect it would have but hoped it was all a bit too much, pushing to scald and burn from all sides as he walked away to a safer position.

Having achieved notable mastery over Katon, the user is capable of shaping, directing, and manipulating existing bodies of the element without the need of hand seals or an existing technique. The range at which the user can manipulate the element is equal to the user's control times 2 metres. While the user can freely manipulate this element, they cannot produce the element naturally.

Nishiki has trained his body to be rather flexible and able to bend and contort in rather odd and peculiar ways which gives him some extra freedom of movement and allows him to easily do some strange things.

Prerequisites: Flexibility
Combining his great flexibility with grand and flowing moves, Nishiki has trained his body to perform extraordinary movements and have extreme body form when doing Kinesis of any kind. This increases the capability of what he can do and helps limit any restrictions on his Kinesis gestures (e.g. Lack of room becoming less of a concern).

Grand Balance
D-Rank Discipline
Nishiki has trained himself to have great balance in many different kinds of situations, allowing himself to easily define his own centre of gravity so that he can manoeuvre himself with ease with toppling over. This means he can bend way low to the ground, outstretch his limbs in weird angles or almost seem to fall forwards on his tiptoes and still be fine.

Rolling Recovery
D-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Nishiki will move into a roll from a prone position, typically as he lands to quickly get back to his feet, shaving off any time he would be laid on the ground, helping protect from crash landings and to move out of dangerous positions.

Tsukino's Grace
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Nishiki has mastered his body as a Tsukino and as such all his bodily mutations are like natural extensions to normal human features, in particular his tails can be manoeuvred like any other regular appendages and can be used with the full skill of his arms and legs.

Prerequisite: Kinesis
Nishiki has trained himself in his Taijutsu and Kinesis prowess in unison forming the combination of both skills side by side, allowing Nishiki the ability to weave Kinesis seamlessly within his hand to hand combat. This discipline reflects that training, allowing him to use the bodily movement of his Taijutsu as a means of shaping and manipulating elements using Kinesis. What results is a perfect marriage of the two skills, his Taijutsu skills enhanced by his Kinesis and vice versa.

The fox was able to narrowly avoid the crashing meteor that was Proximus, resulting in the masked giant smashing into the arena floor and rupturing it. The arena shook from his impact and the crowd collectively gasped. Already this was a dramatic fight with fire and shaking of the earth! More drama promised to ensue as Proximus gained his footing and Nishiki controlled the fire to come at the giant from every angle!

Thinking fast, Proximus pulled his kite shield in close to his chest while placing his buckler over the top of his head then, just as quickly as he had jumped, he began to spin on the spot so fast that his kite shield was essentially wrapping around his body and protecting him from every angle at once while the buckler shielded his head. He spun with such force that he actually generated a small localized wind directly around him that worked to fight against and change the direction of the flames, even if only slightly.

This was, however, seemingly all the masked man could do at the moment. So long as the flames were coming at him from all sides, he was forced to defend himself. So the question was now thus; who could last longer? Nishiki controlling the fire, or Proximus spinning against it?

Nishiki continued pushing on, gritting his teeth in both dismay and awe as the opponent began ferociously spinning with his shields to block the flames rather effectively which put the young jounin in a bit of a difficult position.

It didn't seem like Proximus was necessarily beating the kinesised fire but such a standstill was surely against the fox, ever draining his chakra to no avail until he collapsed and lost but to stop could be disastrous

That being said maybe there was room enough to switch things up and so he put maximum effort into piling as much fire on the great defender, whipping all his arms and tails around to truly get the flames into a frenzy before swiftly moving onto the next stage of the plan.
phpBB [video] With a massive surge of magenta chakra the fox then suddenly and instantly turned into a beast; the black rods in his wrists elongated, his ribs pierced flesh, hips poked out, elbows became pointed and 4 horns grew up towards the sky (one on each side like a compass) with a point in the centre combining to what looked like a crown.
Furthermore all the magenta that burst out was tightly bound to the body as a grey cloak, even binding the 7 tails and making them appear to be spiny bone whips, then there was the even denser black chakra orb that sat atop the crown and truly finished its look and that spat out a trail of smaller black orbs along the transformed beast's back.
Finally the 5 tiny elemental dolls doubled in size and became 15, 5 of which simply danced around the crown all rather nonchalantly.

In an instant a furry was a monster and anyone who understood the realm of genma knew it was a miniature version of Yoshimitsu, who was suddenly glowing with more magenta as the beast caused a surge of wind to gather and flow up through the flames and around the man as fast as it could to hopefully beat him from escaping his spin and the flames.

If it was fast enough not only would a tornado erupt around Proximus, it would gather all the fire and burn up with intense heat as fuuton and katon mixed to become a super charged flamenado.

Form 4 Ascended: Having completly mastered the Genma, the host is able to actively and instantly enter into this state and any of it's predecessors. While indistinguishable from Form 4, Form 4 Ascended is slightly stronger than it's predecessor. Additionally, the host has access to all Genma skills while in Form 0

*Fuuton • Tornado Trap
C-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
The user will first perform the required hand seals and then gather wind around an opponent. This will form a tornado around them at [Control] Speed which extends 25m into the air and has a radius of 3m. The tornado will push back anything that touches it with [Control] Strength, while also cutting at whatever tries to push through as well as a kunai would with the same strength. This technique lasts for 4 posts.

Naturally Proximus was too occupied with spinning to notice the transformation his opponent was going through. He did notice the sudden increase in temperature around him and the feeling of increased wind. It became quite apparent to him that Nishiki was quite literally turning the heat up in this fight and from the feeling of the inside of his mask alone he knew he wasn't going to be able to withstand it for long. A drastic measure needed to be taken.

Altering the angle of his spinning slightly, Proximus would kick off of the ground and send himself leaping through the fiery tornado, still spinning as he went. His shields were able to protect him from the brunt of the damage that would have been inflicted, doing the same job they were doing when he was stood in the eye of the storm, but his unprotected lower legs and feet were another matter. The winds cut his flesh and the fire burned, cauterizing the wounds while making new ones altogether. As Proximus emerged from the tornado he would land buckler first on the ground and roll, coming to a stop some ten meters away from where the tornado was positioned at the center of the arena in a crouched position, quickly orientating himself so that he was facing Nishiki.

He sat panting and heaving for a moment, steam rising up from off of his body. His lower legs from below his knees down to his feet were severely burned and the cutting wounds cauterized. His movement was going to be limited anymore. Never the less, he could still fight. With a roar, Proximus would rise his kite shield and bring the tip slamming down on the arena floor in front of him, raising a chunk of it up directly before the man. He thrust his buckler forward thrice, breaking off pieces of the earth and sending them flying as missiles towards Nishiki before swinging the kite shield around and sending what remained tumbling towards the fox in a long ranged attack. How successful it would be remained to be seen.

Proximus managed to spin out of the flamenado with a might leap but seemingly at a cost, damaging his legs as he huffed and puffed signalling to Nishiki that there was now a chance.

Though it wasn't over just yet as the scalded and cut man dug up some of the ground and started slinging it at the empowered beast, though it could still feel the movements and had better speed itself now allowing it to zigzag and bounce around the projectiles.

That being said it was not with total ease as the 2nd put the genma host in a spin as he made his leap to dodge the first, then the final shot caused him to tumble backwards as he jumped over the 3rd but he managed to flip around into a recovery as he skidded towards the edge on all fours.

As he skidded he started to glow magenta with the signs of channelling before lifting his right hand and slamming it back down, ripping the ground apart with it as the whole arena within the sandy limits erupted into a massive explosive quake.
The ground truly began to shatter and explode up into the air and even uprooted all the trees with it, leaving only the small space where Nishiki stood unscathed as everywhere else appeared to be in turmoil.
"Ha! Scorch the legs then use them as a weak point, quite savage I dare say" Yoshimitsu chuckled menacingly within his host's mind as his power now surged through its body.
Though the now concealed fox simply snickered as he knew it was indeed his aim.

Hefty bending exercises have lead the user to be able to contort, and otherwise control, their body while under abnormal situations. Namely being able to use momentum to better dodge mid-air, and allowing great feats of taijutsu that normally require ones feet planted firmly on the ground.

Doton • Turmoiling Shatter Quake
A-Rank Ninjutsu
The user channels doton chakra and slams down into the earth causing it to shatter and rumble like an intense earthquake. This quake tears apart the ground as it spreads all around the user up to 65m away in all directions, constantly shattering and rumbling the earth like an ongoing turmoil of explosions that moves around at [control] speed and strength for up to 3 posts.

Despite having scalded legs on which to stand, Proximus reacted to the oncoming earthquake surprisingly well all things considered! As he saw the rumbling earth approaching he would hunch down and brace himself, his left hand gripping the dirt as best as he could in order to help give him better purchase of stability. As the earth shook and cracked underneath him he swayed and tilted as the quake demanded in order to minimize the damage he would receive from it, though obviously his tender legs would see the worst of it! The pain of the earthquake shot through his legs like electricity, making him flinch in pain!

As the earth below him cracked and he rose up into the air on the hunk of earth he was holding, Proximus would take advantage of the current situation by grabbing a hold of the earth and pulling it backwards, throwing his whole weight into the gesture for better leverage. He picked up the hunk of earth he had previously been standing on and, as he was falling in the air, threw it over towards his now monstrous looking opponent, a veritable boulder some 2 meters in diameter thrown with all of his strength! (50 Strength & Speed)

As he was falling, Proximus would reach out and grab onto another piece of broken earth and pull himself on to it, putting himself in the same position as he had been to throw more of the arena as an improvised weapon if need be while doing his best to keep a shaky eye on his opponent. It was clear that this turn of events was not exactly in the masked giant's favor, but he was adapting surprisingly well to it all things considered. Nishiki was going to have to keep pressing the attack in some way to remain on top!

As the earth began to rumble and shatter, Nishiki got up and began what one might call prancing across the shattering ground with hops and skips as he got a bit more central but to his surprise his opponent managed to flip around the ground he was shot up with and hurl it down to the ground.

Though he was skilled at keeping balance and moving through such tremulous conditions, it was still hazardous and put hardship on the Tsukino who could not make a clean dodge as he was pelted into a spinning tumble from it.
However he could still catch himself as he gritted through pain and even bounced off his hands in a weird spinning back flip cartwheel, from which more signs of channelling appeared as he bounced around a flaming tree and hopped over the cracking rocks.

This time the genma host surged with lightning as he thrust his arms towards his twirling opponent as he manoeuvred onto another rock, sending a tremendously roaring and wide reaching cone of electricity into the air which would shatter surrounding rocks and strike towards Proximus at full force and just fall short of striking the buildings around them.

B-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user will first perform the correct hand seals, and then fire a cone of lightning which begins at 5m wide closest to them and then 40m wide at the furthest point. The cone extends 40m from the user's body at [Control] Speed. This cascade of lightning roars tremendously loud, and strikes all caught within it at ]Control] Strength

A solid hit! The masked giant managed to land one of his attacks on his opponent, the first in this match so far, and it sent the monster tumbling backwards! On some level he cheered, for he could truly only assume that he was facing some sort of monster in this moment having no knowledge of Genma or Jinchuriki. Despite his hunk of earth finding it's mark, however, the demon was quick to recover and scarcely before Proximus could believe it he was being assaulted again! Fire, wind, earth and now lightning all seemed to be at this monster's command! What more could it do?

In response to the oncoming lightning, Proximus would pull the same trick as he had done before, ripping up the piece of earth on which he stood, flipping around and launching it forward to meet the oncoming electricity while he himself was hurled backwards towards the ground. This time, however, as he came in contact with the earth, rather than landing on his feet immediately Proximus would angle his body so that his kite shield would be what touched the ground first, the lanky, scarred giant sliding on it for a moment before, with a grunt, he would push himself off of the ground using the shield as a spring board and flipping himself over again, putting further distance between him and his demonic opponent, only then landing on his feet.

He needed to keep the pressure up though. If this fight was to last, he needed to do more than defend and retreat! Meeting earth shaking jutsu with an assault on the floor of his own, Proximus would raise his buckler shield high before slamming it down on the already fractured arena, sending a shockwave cone in the direction of Nishiki that would encompass the entire arena wall at its' full width. If he had timed it properly, his opponent would be met with the upturned earth right as he came to land back into the arena.

Proximus pulled the same rock hurling trick as before but propelled himself to the ground and though the rock was shattered by Nishiki's lightning, it seemed the great defender was fast enough to plough down to the ground before any of the electricity struck him as far as the fox could tell which would mean zero paralysis.

Nonetheless as the shield wielding man crashed into the ground with great strength, a shock wave rumbled through the whole floor and rippled up into the monstrous beast and in turn reversed their positions as said beast propelled up into the sky on a hefty chunk of land.

Given the new predicament he was in the Tsukino instantly began glowing with channelling once more before suddenly bursting from atop the rock, seemingly taking control of his own trajectory as trails of wind oscillated behind him like majestic wings allowing the veiled man to fly to a more central position above the arena.

Whilst he flew Nishiki immediately moved right into another justu, this time via a rapid set of handseals, positioning himself so that he aimed right down as he then swiftly created a massive surge of water that aimed to flood down and cover the entire arena with full force.

When one thought of torrential rain they probably didn't imagine a whole lake just suddenly dropping from the sky, though in the world of ninja it appeared to be a true possibility and the audience would get to witness it live before them.

Fuuton • Up Up and Away
A-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
Nishiki will channel fuuton charka all around his body causing a small whirl of wind to surround him at [control] speed. This wind will spread out behind him like an intricate dance of streams that appear almost like wings that flow off into the distance and in turn will begin to lift the user up into the air.
Once the wind trails are formed and Nishiki has been lifted he can then freely move about with perfect flight following the flight rules for 10 posts.

The user will channel suiton chakra and expel a massive conical water torrent that drenches an area thoroughly, capable of soaking a meter down nearly instantly for soil and like materials. The cone has a base width of 15 meters and a range of 25 meters and travels at [Control] Speed, pushing things back with [Control] Strength.

It seemed to Proximus that his opponent had full command of all of the elements! Truly a frightful demon indeed to be able to use the wind as a vehicle for flight but to also immediately follow up by hurtling a great torrent of water from the sky above! Unfortunately for the masked prisoner, there was little he could do to avoid this oncoming attack - that is, little he could do without hurting himself.

As Nishiki was finishing his set of seals and creating the cone of water, Proximus would force himself to jump into into the air to meet with the flying shinobi, hurting his already burned legs and feet in the process, but hopefully coming within range of the ninja that he could smack him out of the air with one swift swing of his kite shield as though he were swatting a fly, sending his opponent hurtling down to the flooded arena below!

Should this succeed, with little else to do in the current situation, Proximus would fall in an arch towards one of the arena walls where he would reach out and grab a hold of the ledge to keep himself from falling into the deluge. Given the sheer amount of water created by the ninja it was impossible for Proximus' lower body to not touch the pool, so for the time being he simply dangled on the edge of the arena, his head turned to keep an eye on what his opponent was up to.

phpBB [video] It seemed Proximus had enough strength in his legs to burst up into the air and break through the water as Nishiki was flooding the arena, followed by a powerful swing of his shield aimed to bash away the fox with great force but he managed to position himself with a twist to essentially propel off the shield.

Though it still hurt quite a good bit given his low endurance, his lower body tremoring with pain as the Tsukino flowed with the strike and leapt off with the given momentum to control his path better.

Nishiki spiralled through the air as he began to skim the water, then suddenly swooped up near the the wall on the opposite side of the arena to his opponent as he took control of his own flight once more.
The intricate wind wings pushed the jounin back into the sky as he span around to face the arena and his foe, his body showing signs of intense channelling already as he felt the power boost from being transformed beginning to wane which meant he had to make the most of what he had left.

With his path corrected the genma host looked at the great defender hanging from the wall on the opposite side of the arena, surely a penalty, with the intent to push for what would hopefully be the end as a massive, immense surge of magenta chakra gathered in an ever increasing ball before him.

The chakra surged even beyond the size of his own body for a moment before suddenly shrinking; 1-2 it was grey then black as it compacted onto a 100cm erratic looking ball of energy with sparks of magenta flowing around it.
Then with a flash the ball zoomed towards Proximus, appearing to blast right at the man but just over halfway it suddenly exploded and filled the arena edge to edge apart from just barely leaving room for its creator as energy surged up right in front of even his own face.

The Ultimate Phantom Beast Bomb was all rather intense and erupted with the power of all 5 basic elements; enveloping suiton, burning katon, cutting fuuton; shocking raiton and enduring doton.
Were there even 9 posts available the energy would last around the arena for all that time thanks to the slow decay of the enduring effect, all whilst continuously assaulting everything within with all the other passives.

S-Rank Ninjutsu
Prequisites: Form 4 or Higher Basic Genma
Nishiki will form Suiton, Katon, Fuuton, Raiton and Doton chakra together into a single, chaotic ball of energy with a base 100cm diameter which he will then blast out at [control] speed. This ball will then explode after traveling a base 80m or upon impact with [control] strength of force, spreading chaotic energy that envelops, ignites/burns, cuts and shocks everything caught within the explosion The strength of the passives is reduced as such the energy envelops, ignites/burns, cuts and shocks as if the strength and speed was -10. The energy also has the enduring effect of Doton, lasting on everything caught by it, except due to the weakened state of the passive it decays by 5 strength per post until it fully fades.

45 control = 45 explosion speed and strength = 26 enveloping strength, 4 degree burns, 17 cutting strength, fully diffused paralysis and 9 turns of endurance.

With Proximus as far away as he was on the other side of the arena and with the arena itself completely flooded, his lower legs still burnt and stinging, there was little that Proximus could do to stop the oncoming orb of genma chakra. Even if there was something he could do to defend or deflect it, he simply was not trained in any sort of matter that would allow him to deal with the after effects. Subsequently, the masked giant merely held up his kite shield to defend himself, only to have it shatter on impact from the explosion.

The resulting storm of effects would leave Proximus unable to react or defend himself as he simply fell into the water and succumbed to the cutting and burning winds that enveloped him as he remained paralyzed. Even still, despite it all, Proximus remained conscious as he floated on the water's tumultuous surface. His body battered and beaten was nothing new to him, thus he simply endured - but with nothing else that he could do, it was evident for anyone watching what the result was.
