Exhibition: Nishiki vs Yoru

[Ace Trainer]

The arena has a 25m radius and is mostly comprised of grass land, trees to provide some shelter and texture to the battlefield. However, 5m from the wall surrounding the entire arena is sandy terrain. The arena is marked by a 20m high wall that is built in the shape of a doughnut, the seats are layered with ten rows running along the whole perimeter of the arena. There is a tower that is supported by pillars and columns above the northers side of the stadium, this is where the representatives of other nations are seated. The participants have the own place to wait until their turn, it is at the bottom section of the wall surrounding the battlefield and has a viewing window that allows the participants to watch fighting that take place. Nishiki will begin at the eastern most point, standing directly in front of the sand. Yoru will begin at the western most point, standing directly in front of the sand.

The judges for this bout will be Nu, Sha, and Ji (all judges will be controlled by Onu sicne he's not participating in this event and it will expedite the process (maybe))

First poster has 72 hours to respond, all following posts have 48 hours, with one [1] extension granted upon request. Please ensure you're familiar with the rules for the event. If you're currently in registry, the 72 hours begins once both participants have been approved.

phpBB [video] Nishiki strode into the arena in his immaculate black kimono and its royal golden etchings and his cloak, both flowing back with his luscious long hair and seven grand tails which seemed to bounce with every step.

As he stepped out he instantly took in the familiar plains-like environment and the small number of trees, his eyes noting the sand ring and his ears noting the sounds of an audience.

For a brief moment the jinchuuriki truly absorbed everything as 5 tiny elemental dolls ambiently floated around him, one of each affinity, though they weren't truly living beings despite how they seemed.

Along with this Nishiki took in his opponent as the man with luscious long hair (though obviously not as luscious as his own) also stepped in across from him.
The jounin wasn't sure what to make of him but was told he was named Yoru, which did freak him to a small degree as he felt certain the man was possibly of great standing for his village.

Nonetheless the fox grinned and immediately took action as the audience looked on in awe; the signs of channelling appeared on his person, albeit magenta instead of the typical blue, as chakra rapidly welled up within before surging out in a burst of crackling lightning.

Nishiki's whole body became surrounded in a ghostly, electrical aura that was honestly quite haunting to look at but put a huge grin upon his face as he then prepared for what was next.

Area Awareness
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Nishiki has trained his sense of spatial awareness so that he can not only constantly remain vigilant of what is around him with great skill, but is also able to expand it further so that details of his surrounding environment come to him naturally and easily. This means he can more easily figure out the space he can manoeuvre and generally work in, even in wide areas which is particularly useful for using wide scoping jutsu and kinesis.

Raiton • Crackling Ghostly Aura
A-Ranked Raiton Jutsu
The user channels raiton chakra and causes a surge of lightning to build up around them like a large, glowing aura. This aura spreads across their whole body and spikes out in a wave of fluctuating electricity in a 50cm radius, jumping out to anything that gets within 3m.
This lightning moves in crackling arcs at [control] speed and shocks and deflects at [control] strength for 4 posts, all whilst making those within appear more like a ghostly figure due to all the glow.

Aizawa, Yoru stood in the arena his long flowing hair (Which is definitely not in a topknot) resting past his shoulders and down his back, he adjusted his green haori and made sure his eyepatch was on securely.

The man infront of him had such a distinctive appearance, small orbs floating around his head, golden eyes, ears and a tail.

What an interesting character thought Yoru, taking a mental note of the mans name Tsukino, Nishiki.

Yoru bowed his head, as a sign of respect to the man just before a klaxon rang out to initiate the bout.

Wasting no time, he withdrew the windmill shuriken on his back, in spiralled out as his fingers pressed against the mechanism and flung it towards Nishki as he hurtled himself to the left, his eye caught sight of the ration chakra engulfing his opponent.

Two can play that

As he bolted in a circular manner around the arena, weaving a flurry of handseals he felt a surge of pins and needles surge through his body as he was engulfed in ration chakra. If they got close to one another it would now be a case of who had more chakra at their disposal if they were to make physical contact.

As he edged closer, his eye glinted with delight as he sensed what was lying within Nishki “A spirit?” he said, out loud, likely not loud enough for the young man to hear, withdrawing a kunai he readied himself to attack or defend as needed.

Raiton • Cloak of the Thunder Cloud
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
After channelling chakra, the user will pour chakra through and out of their tenketsu covering themselves in a cloak of ration chakra. This in turn coats the body in a defence coating of ration chakra, able to withstand any attacks as high as the users control stat. Any taijutsu strikes the user make, will cut through flesh like steel, it will conduct through any metallic objects the user is holding and will lash out and any metal objects within a 10 metre radius. If a target makes physical contact either by grabbing, attacking or receiving a blow the target will have full body paralysis for 2 posts and receive 2nd degree burns. This technique lasts up to 5 posts. Speed and Strength equal to the user’s control.

Art of Perception • Shizumeru • Clairvoyant
C-Ranked Nintaijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: Perception, Sensory & Tenkujutsu
The user has become attuned to spirits, they are able to passively sense when a spirit is nearby, within 20 metres. They receive no information or understanding of the spirit whatsoever, or even its location, they just get a feeling that a spirit is nearby.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Utilizing this Maneuver, the user is able to quickly draw a kunai from its holster. This is done by placing their finger through the lip of the holder and into the ring of the pommel, flicking it up and out quickly, having the kunai in the user’s hand within an instant.

The opponent whipped out a fuma shuriken and tossed it at Nishiki before bolting around the edge of the arena and seemingly copying him and forming his own electrical armor, though it clearly wasn't as cool and was so basic.

As the shuriken flew ahead the fox began to move and performed a hefty leap across it, his lightning armour lashing out towards it as if to blast it into the ground until he fully passed and landed.

Once the shuriken threat seemed out of the way the opponent's armour became apparent along with the man's approach, as such Nishiki immediately began channelling with any tell tale signs being magenta instead of the typical blue.

The Kiri jounin then faced the Konohan with his hands at his mouth before suddenly releasing a wide blast of wind at full force, aiming to potentially push the man back and disperse his version of the lightning armour with fuuton superiority.

Leap
D-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Nishiki will simply propel himself forwards with a high leap into the air, typically aimed to dodge over an obstacle or opponent.

Fuuton • Great Breakthrough (CH)
C-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
By channelling fuuton chakra and bringing their hands to their mouth, the user can release a wide blast of air. This wave of air moves outward in a cone shape with a 25m width at the end of the cone and moves with [Control] Speed. Once it makes contact with a substance, the wind both cuts at it and pushes it away with [Control] strength. This blast goes out for a maximum of 25m if it doesn't hit anything, where it will dissipate into the surrounding air.

The windmill shuriken hurtled towards Nishki, who leaped over it his ration armour blasted out and thrusted it towards the ground below, knocking it off its trajectory. It was now spinning downwards towards the ground, however there was one thing Nishki hadn’t anticipated, the mechanism Yoru had pressed just before throwing it. The mechanism clicked and turned in place and the shuriken was now facing vertical due it being thrown off and broke into pieces, one of the blades launched upwards towards the airborne Nishki, hopefully catching him off guard or at least making a dint in the ration armour. The others shout out in different locations, one into the ground below where Nishiki had leaped, one back towards Yoru at the western part of the arena and the other towards the east.

Yoru weaved a single hand seal and leaped through space in an instant appearing on the ground below just where Nishiki had jumped at the piece of shuriken he had thrown. As Nishki landed back on the ground, Yoru would be on him within an instant weaving a flurry of seals, with his already drawn kunai at an almost blinding rate, he moved with such speed he’d be invisible to the naked eye, side stepping and leaving an after image of himself so if Nishiki we’re to turn around he’d hopefully think the after image was the real Yoru, thrusting the kunai now covered in ration, hoping his own defence jutsu would counter Nishki’s and his kunai would rip through thrusting it forward. Usually he’d aim for the heart, but he would lower it down and avoid any major organs he didn’t wish to kill the young man.

Open Space: Step between Heaven & Earth
B-rank Jikukan Ninjutsu
The user will hold a single hand seal and will be instantly be teleported to any Heaven and Earth Seal that has being previously created to that exact location no matter how far away it is.

Ochiba • Single Finger Seal
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Having extensive experience with Deft Hands the user is able to manipulate a kunai within their hands and perform hand seals at full speed, without having to put down the kunai at any point.

Ochiba • Raiton: Aogera (50 Control)
S-Ranked Nintai Maneuver
Prerequisite: 45 Speed
The user will weave a sequence of hand seals, usually with Single Finger Seals and holding a kunai, they engulf their arm and a kunai with Raiton chakra that extends 2.5m from the users arm. They will charge forward with incredible speed, moving so fast they leave after images of where they once was confusing their opponent, one per 2m the user runs. As they get closer, they will side step, leaving an after image of they once were and lunge upwards towards the opponents heart, the raiton will however cause paralysis before the kunai hits it mark, freezing the opponent and making it difficult for them to avoid the attack. They will then rip through their chest and through their heart. They will also not be able to see the user as they are moving at such striking speeds, unless they have a perception technique of equal level. If the target does manage to survive, they will be paralysed for 3 posts. This attack can also be performed without Raiton but without the benefits of paralysis.

Nishiki managed to twist enough to avoid anything serious with the surprise shuriken strike, feeling how the one blade propelled towards him before being blasted by lightning from the armour.

Though with the force it shaved through some of the armour as sparks fell to the ground as the blade bounced back down, which for the moment wasn't the biggest deal for the fox as he twisted right into his landing and made his wind jutsu.

However with said landing the foe suddenly appeared right there in one step before flashing around with great speed, barely able to be kept up with as Nishiki span to look at the man with each step upon feeling where he had moved but being behind him all the way.

With one final twist the Tsukino slowly began to turn and face his opponent only to freeze in paralysis and feel a sharp pain as the most powerful kunai he ever combat slide right into his body, piercing with a grand strength in the hand of said opponent.

Unable to move or do much of anything the only thing that came to mind that was possible was to ramp things up and try channelling jutsu, as such the seal on his stomach began to glow as a massive surge of magenta chakra flowed all around his body.

The magenta would rapidly condense into a grey and shroud the transforming body, making a Yoshimitsu mini me as bones protruded all over and black orbs formed along with more mini elementals.

However any transformation wouldn't remove the paralysis and Yoru could easily continue to go about his business, though the man would certainly enjoy the nice little treat of seeing Nishiki's spirit side emerge and confirmed.

Aerobatics
D-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Hefty bending exercises have lead the user to be able to contort, and otherwise control, their body while under abnormal situations. Namely being able to use momentum to better dodge mid-air, and allowing great feats of taijutsu that normally require ones feet planted firmly on the ground.

As the kunai hit it’s mark ripping through the defence and the body of Nishiki like paper, he felt a warm trickle pour down his arm and drip gently on the floor.

Blood.

Of course it wasn’t anything vital, Yoru hadn’t intended to kill the man. Slipping his arm out of his opponents’ body, who was now paralysed in place but seemed to be transforming, Yoru’s sensory tingled feeling a surge of spirit chakra bubbling out of the man.

Wasting no time and not wanting to risk anything dangerous, Yoru leaped backwards yanking his arm from the mans body and flipped through the air weaving a flurry of hand seals as he did. Chains poured from his fingertips, hurtling towards the jinchuriki wrapping around his arms, legs and neck and lifting him up from the ground and pulling his limbs apart. Yoru yanked on the chain and slammed the young man on to the ground to hold him in place so he couldn’t continue.

“The bout is over, either you stop this!” He yelled out to the judges who were secreted someone within the arena “or you stop this yourself and forfeit, I have no interesting in harming you anymore.” His voice rang out softly, the chains grasping tighter and tighter around the man’s neck and cut off any bond from his genma, as though it wasn’t there at all.

Shizumeru • [Bastille of the Beast ]
S-rank Tenkujutsu (Nin)
Prerequisite: 45 Control
A technique developed to neutralise both the host and the spirit, the user will perform a sequence of hand seals and will lift up their hand, five thin chains will pour from the users fingers, one from each which they will be able to control the direction of. They will charge towards the target, moving at a speed and strength equal to the user’s control. Up to 80 metres, once the chains make contact they will wrap around the user’s legs, arms and drag them apart holding them in place. The fifth chain will wrap around the targets neck, choking them and the spirit. These chains cling to the chakra itself of the spirit and cannot be broken though physical means, the target can only break free if their control is higher than that of the users. This will cut off any bond the user has from their spirit. The target will be able to last one post for every 10 endurance they have, before passing out. If they do manage to break free, they will be unable to draw from their spirit for the same amount of posts they were entrapped. This will last for five posts.

Nishiki couldn't quite see what Yoru was up to but felt him jump back before a massive shiver ran down his spine, as if he instinctively knew what was coming for him like a secret sixth sense for the despicable maroon chakra that he hated so.
"Not this shit" both Nishiki and Yoshimutsu cursed through thought in unison as the chains touched them.

There wasn't really anything the Tsukino could do as he was pinned to the ground, now truly lost as the unified words in his mind cut off and he could no longer even sense the genma within and started to feel his consciousness wavering; the man's lips quivered as if he was trying to speak though it was quite impossible and the jinchuuriki cloak still masked such quivering making even that invisible to most.

Regardless it became clear that no more action was coming from the Kiri ninja and given that even after the paralysis wore off, the chains would keep the man bound he would have no choice but to surrender once it did assuming Yoru had not been declared the Victor at that point.

Once again the judges watched as a clear victor was established. Sha would stand and cross her arms, "Nishiki is defeated, points to Konoha."
