Genin Losers Bracket: Semi Finals - Ico vs Akujin

Post by Ace Trainer » Sun Dec 26, 2021 11:40 am

The arena has a 25m radius and is mostly comprised of grass land, trees to provide some shelter and texture to the battlefield. However, 5m from the wall surrounding the entire arena is sandy terrain. The arena is marked by a 20m high wall that is built in the shape of a doughnut, the seats are layered with ten rows running along the whole perimeter of the arena. There is a tower that is supported by pillars and columns above the northers side of the stadium, this is where the representatives of other nations are seated. The participants have the own place to wait until their turn, it is at the bottom section of the wall surrounding the battlefield and has a viewing window that allows the participants to watch fighting that take place. The contestants form a triangle, with Ico standing at the northernmost point of the arena, Akujin at the southern-most point of the arena.

The judges for this bout will be Nu, Sha, Ji.

Genin Losers Bracket: Semi Finals - Ico vs Akujin

Post by TheLacarix » Fri Dec 31, 2021 12:42 pm

Ico stood at one end of the arena, breathing in and out slowly the nerves of the arena had soon washed away the young genin had had a variety of bouts now and the keen gaze of the audience meant nothing now.

Slowly withdrawing his incredibly large sword, he held it over his shoulder and looked over his opponent. The problem with these prolonged tournments was there was little no so surprises the genin could throw at each other, seeing each other fight multiple times over the course of the tournament. A talented ninjutsu user from Konoha, that used ink and clay to create ferocious attacks, Ico was confident that he was both stronger and faster than the Genin infront of him but that wasn’t anything new.

Ico nodded in respect to the young Konoha genin, as the Klaxon rang out to say the pair could begin. Withdrawing a kunai he flung it through air, Ico soon followed it as he zigged and zagged at an incredible speed he would almost be a blur, ready to avoid any incoming attacks.

As the Kunai and Ico got closer, he heaved his large blade up in the air as though he was going to bring it down. Something he had done every single time in this bout though quickly let it go holding with one hand and withdrew another kunai at almost point-blank range, if it missed the kunai would quickly come back on itself.

Ico knew that this likely wouldn’t do anything, but hoped that Akujin would expect Ico to do the same as he’d always done and strike at the ground with ferocity and defend. If both kunai hadn’t hit their mark, they’d quickly come back on themselves in a boomerang fashion and hopefully strike Akujin in the back.

2 x Kunai (Thrown at 23 Strength)
[Flawless Aim Style • Boomerang Shot] x 2
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
When throwing a projectile, the user will flick their wrist at the last moment. To the naked eye, this projectile will be flying towards as normal, however if the projectile doesn’t hit its target or isn’t stopped, it will weigh back on its own momentum and come back, like a boomerang. Usually catching their opponent off guard.
