The Young Lion [Open to anyone]

An international hub and place of refuge for any who visit. Steam Country is home to Amegakure, a bustling city that is arguably the closest thing in the world to the size of any of the great Shinobi villages. Shinobi activities are strictly forbidden within Steam Country, but shinobi are welcome to conduct personal business here.

Inyo was from the Lightning Empire but he was not a shinobi. This wasn't so unique to be honest, but it also meant in comparison to the shinobi of the empire he had unique experiences and outlooks. For him, a city built by samurai and normal folk of some technical advancement would be quite interesting. Perhaps it would also be a place to find new war manuals or strategic exercise guides. Unlike the shinobi, the Lion and his tribe had to fight with superior movements and troop rotations rather than overwhelming force... At least, when the Lion himself wasn't on the field. To start his day of Inyo would head down the promenade in the main market district.

Book stores first, weaponry stores later, and last, if possible, he would like to see if there was anyway to inspect the military forces of Steam. There was actually quite a bit more he had considered too- perhaps even visiting a shogi hall to test his skills though he wouldn't dare tip anyone off to his being the new Lion of the Shishi family.

Before long he would arrive at the book store. Tomes, scrolls, books, comics, everything you could imagine. Even stationary and pens. Heh. First he would head to the strategy section... just what would he find?

The Young Lion [Open to anyone]

The light rain tapped against the interlocking reeds of bamboo that made up the pointed hat sitting atop the black-haired samurai's head as he stepped just under the outside canopy of one of the many bookstores, a long and dark leather cloak kept the moisture from seeping into his traditional cloth as the water beaded off and ran down the sides of the cloak. Shaking his shoulders, the clinging droplets of rain were freed from the violet eyed man who then reached up and removed the circular bamboo framed hat and shook it off as well, which in turn revealed the high ponytail of raven hair that still fell down to around shoulder length even in the ponytail. A gentle smile fell upon his lips as he shook off what rainwater he could before stepping inside and wiping the damp earth that clung to the bottom of his sandles on the burlap mat on the floor just inside the sliding front door.

He gave a gentle wave of his hand as the older man behind the counter returned a simple nod of his head at the samurai, though mostly concealed one was able to get a decent look at the two straight bladed swords sheathed upon the man's left hip under the cloak. Not Unlike the other young man in the store who Akiro swept his gaze across briefly who was headed to the mystery section, the undercover man was also mainly interested in the same section as it was one of his favorite genres of books to read. Something about putting together the pieces of the mystery as it unfolded was always so satisfying as well as trying to guess the ending for yourself before finding out the climax of the novel. "I wonder if I'll find any Jin Woo here..." He mumbled more so to himself but still out loud as he ended up on the opposing end of the mystery section as Inyo.

Though he was technically here to look for information about the new country that had been taken over by a Kiri missing-nin, the self-proclaimed Gold country, but none of their representatives had arrived so far and the man had chosen to take a little personal time to explore the city area. This was the first time he had been permitted to attend by the org and who could miss the chance to understand a bit more about this place. It was after all, quite a bit different from even the great villages with its infrastructure and advanced architecture. The fingertips of Akiro's left hand reached up to touch the spine of a few books on the top shelf that was eye level with the tall man as he silently read each of the authors looking for some familiar ones that he preferred to read their work.

Inyo noticed another young man enter the store- seemingly a samurai himself by his clothes and the way he carried himself. Like wise it appeared he had also come here in search of books. While he had longed to find books of interest here there would be a time for that before his trip was done. He was more so interested in hearing stories from other travelers, learning new things, and making new friends he never could have from within the Lightning Empire. The Lion of Shishi after all would be wise to be well versed in the society at large. When the man looked up and mentioned Jin Woo he couldn't help but strike up a conversation.

"The thriller series?" Inyo would say as he approached the samurai, bowing his head slightly in respect before looking back to the book shelf. "Jin Woo is certainly interesting but I've already looked for it today and it appears they are sold out." he said, shrugging gently be fore looking out past the other young man and into the main passageway of the bookstore.

"I'm afraid military strategems, maps, and some up to date scrolls on the new world orders that have arisen are the only prizes I might take home from here on this trip." Shishi said with a grin.
