[Invasion] Rainfall and Regrets: Cowards Die in Steam! Pt 2

Akihiko was listening to this conversation. What was this land they were talking about, it was nothing he had ever heard before. Maybe it could be a place that he could visit! In fact, all of the places sounded interesting. He wanted to visit Kiri, Iwa, and now this Coalition place. With the train going by and the conversation continuing, Akihiko was a little bit checked out. The boy looked around for a moment to figure out why their cart was empty... With everyone fleeing, wouldn't it make sense that the cart was full? Maybe this rich family bought all of the seats.

Before the pink haired loudmouth could fully connect the puzzle pieces in his empty head, one of the doors opened. A kind looking woman with long black hair and blue eyes walked over with a cart. She had a gentile smile and Aki couldn't help but blush at her beauty. The woman looked kind and gentile, maybe she was someone that he could court in the future.

"Refreshments?" The woman asked pleasantly. Suzuko looked over the offerings, before looking back up at the woman pushing the cart, staring at her. Something was off, but she couldn't put her finger on it. "Why yes, I'd love some lunch!" The male of the pair said eagerly, happy to have something else to focus on besides the conversation he didn't seem too keen on having in the first place. This, thankfully, drew her eyes away from the face of the woman pushing the cart, and out of the corner of her eye she caught a small movement as Yasuragi leaned over to pick something off the top of the cart.

The curtain covering the sides of the cart rustled just slightly, and thusly a small glint of metal could be seen between the slight opening. Having no time to think, and suddenly in full panic mode, she shouted. "Akihiko!" Before adjusting her position in the seats, delivering a powerful kick to the side of the cart just in time to throw a kunai off of its trajectory, forcing it to stab through the rice ball in Yasuragi's hand rather than somewhere else in his body.

Akihiko was excited to hear the woman offer refreshments. Was she flirting with him? No, yes! No... yes, yes she was. After going back and forth like a man with multiple personalities, Aki came to the conclusion that she was in fact just asking them if they wanted anything. The boy followed Suzuko's lead and looked at the cart. Meh, no sweets! Before Aki could speak up, the male requested for lunch. Maybe he shouldn't eat, but the thought of them eating didn't sit well with Aki. If the food was poisoned, then he wouldn't know how to help.

Time had almost slowed down the second the chuunin heard his name. Suzuko had panic in her voice and when she shouted, Aki quickly moved his right hand up, signaling for his Silhouette to come to their aid. The child jumped out of his seat, as his silhouette came and tackled the girl that was holding the refreshments. The child would follow the silhouette to take it's place. In a matter of seconds, the silhouette moved backwards as Aki moved forwards towards the cart girl. The silhouette would jump backwards and make it's way to the cart in order to protect the rich spoiled couple.

In that moment Aki would look over towards the cart, there was someone inside. "Suzuko!" Right as he finished his sentence a man who seemed to have his bones morphed in order to fit underneath adjusted his entire body to stand up normally. The man had dual Tanto's and took a step towards Suzuko attempting to stab her with one of the Tanto's. Aki would attempt to make sure Suzuko can fight at her fullest. "Couple is safe!" The child didn't have time to give a full lowdown about how he sent the silhouette to protect them. He had hoped that she might understand his jibberish and quick comment in the midst of battle.
