[Festival] Chilling with Kiri, a pebble story.

Achiyo looked bored, more-so than usual as she watched her servant perform his daily kata, drilling the mindless movements over and over. It was enough to make her look back to the book that she had been pretending to read and huff. She had half a mind to actually read the damn thing while Yukimura worked up a sweat. The glistening man was moving slowly through the rotations, apparently trying to work on his stamina, or else his will to do these damn drills.

She wouldn't be caught dead doing these without outside incentive. Pulling a strand of blue hair back with her fingers, she looked at the fruit assemblage that Yukimura had scrounged up for her. The fruit had been chilled in an ice-box and was still cold enough to give her a slight headache when she ate it. She picked up one of the toothpicks that she had been given to spear the fruit with and picked a juicy bit of watermelon, not too large so that she would dribble like a servant, but not too small either and popped it in her mouth, letting the cold waves of juice wash over her tongue and down her throat.

Opening her mouth slightly in a delicately puckered 'o', she breathed out, trying to warm the icy cold bit of fruit as it lay on her tongue, before she quickly chewed and ate it, savoring the sweet flavor for a while and dabbing at the corners of her mouth just in case some of the sticky fluid was left over from eating it. Achiyo located the next bit of fruit that she would try, a half-frozen grape that she speared, now, and left while she turned to page 1.

Apparently this was a 'good read' and she was looking for a bookish type to catch the eye of. Yukimura had his uses but his intelligence was not a weapon in his arsenal. It was better to have one of each specialist, that way she could protect herself and move up through the ranks with as little strife or training as possible.

Or so she thought.

Truth be told, as Yukimura was moving through his kata, he noticed that Achiyo had popped the fruit into her mouth and was scanning the crowd like a hungry lioness looking for her next meal, and he wondered whether or not she was actually going to be a good chuunin at all. Of course, she was a great tactician, but he handled 90% of her missions for her, and she reaped the benefits. He was raised with honor running in his veins, strength in his limbs, and a love for the Aisu family that he served in his heart.

That love, he found, drove him to the deep seated disappointment that he felt at watching Achiyo sitting down, provocative cheongsam dress hiked dangerously close to a scandalous height, waste the potential of the clan that she had been born into. Natural talent was only so good as it was honed to be talent. Otherwise the talent soon became irrelevant and, well, Achiyo was a prime example of that. If only she had an Aisu mentor. He moved slowly through the kata, a bead of sweat dripped into his eye. The grimace and swift movement to alleviate the temporary discomfort was as much about the sweat and broken concentration of his kata, as it was about his frustration that Achiyo hadn't come to train under the iron banner with the foremost minds, bodies, and chakra networks of the five great nations. She had come here to secure another boy-toy.

Hatsu's ClothingShow
His first layer of clothing exists solely as a plain deep black colored top, untextured and coarse, marked more as a tight shirt than anything. It appears to be made of a single piece of cloth, woven by a master with no increments of stitching or signs of thread used upon the piece. Said shirt hangs loosely from his figure, which he tucks into the umanori or divided hakama. This umanori, tied snugly at the waist with a navy piece of silk, is still different from the average ninja's. Each leg flutters down to the ankle, just where Hatsu's boots poke from beneath. Along the path to the foot, the umanori are split in eight places around the calf, each split is used to better circulate air to the wearer. As articles of clothing go, the rest of Hatsuyuki's ensemble is simple. Over the black-shirt is a simple vest, the brunt of which is pure white; however, along the neckline and the stitches are a ice blue inlay giving a more regal appearance. Hatsu's boots cover his calf muscles entirely, stopping just below his knees, and expose not only his toes, but most of his feet as there is only two straps holding the sole to his feet in order to allow full, unrestrained, movement. Hatsu wears a pitch black Haori that only connects in front of his abdomen, exposing his chest. His haori has a hood that is deep enough to keep his entire head hidden from view without restricting his eyesight. From time to time Hatsu will wear his Hirohito ring, but only when not on a mission. Hatsuyuki’s hair is kept in a long braid down the center of his back. He has the Hirohito family insignia tattooed on the underside of his tongue.
Hatsu was presenting as a girl on his trip to the Iron festival, and even though he didn't change his usual outfit any, he kept his hair unbraided and down. He wore only bare minimum of makeup as well, which was eyeliner used to accent his eyes. The most convincing part of it all was his voice however, as his elder sister, and his parents, had taught him to speak with a very feminine voice. This was important because, as he stood behind his blue-haired cousin, he made sure to use the sweetest, most feminine voice possible. "Hello cousin, slacking off I see. You know, before I left the village, my family requested that I keep an eye on the Genin of our clan, and to help train them if I could. But what do I find? The little rebel with blue hair sitting on her ass while dressed like a Madame." Hatsu circled around to the front of his cousin, snatching her grape along the way, and tossed it into his mouth. "Now, I could make a report of this when I return to the village, or, you can get off your ass and I will train you in the Kenjutsu style of our family. It's your choice, I will not make it for you. But I will say this; if I walk out of this tent because you refuse to train there will be no second chance."

[Festival] Chilling with Kiri, a pebble story.

Shiroyasha was standing across from a man. They were both holding two blades, one in he forward and he other in the backward position. They were staring at each other and in the soft blowing wind Shiroyasha's blue robe danced in the air.

From his mouth let out a brisk breeze and Shiroyasha yelled, "Kyap!" The man standing in front of him did too, but he had no such cold presence as Shiroyasha. The man came from Oebble country and was studying with Shiroyasha. The day before they had practiced the beginner katas of the foreigners style, now Shiroyasha was showing him something from his repertoire of skills.

The genin stepped backward and shifted all of his weight to his back leg leaning all the way back. He lifted his knee and the man did the same, then they both kicked. Shiroyasha was impressed, he had only shown this to the man once he day before. He must have had practiced.

In synchronization they swung botb their blades forward in a scissormotion, and stomping the foot that kicked down into the ground. Then Shiroyasha flipped his forward pointing blade backward with a flick of the wrist, the man tried to a dropped his sword.

"That's a hard one." Shiroyasha said as he continued with a dual stabbing motion forward. He stopped his blade just inches before his training partner.

The two did that for awhile and eventually parted ways. As Shiro walked away without dropping a bit of sweat he noticed a man doing some of the same katas he had done the day before. Shiroyasha kept moving and saw two people talking g just a ways from the man who was training.

Shiroyasha wasn't exactly friendly. He was cold and uninviting in fact. But having traveled so far from home he did feel like exploring the world a bit and getting out of his comfort zone. How shocked was he when he found two Aisu talking. One was a pretty girl with blue hair, and Shiroyasha was certain he had seen her around the Mizukages office. The other one looked to be a female too, and Shiro wasn't certain of it but he thought he had heard them call the girl her cousin.

Shiroyasha felt daring, though not daring enough to smile. He walked closer to the two and said, "Well well, what do we have here." He was referring to an Aisu in Pebble, rather two at that. He held out his forehead protector that was tied to his robe, showing that he was an Aisu.

Suddenly all of the confidence Shiroyasha had to introduce himself in Pebble disappeared. He was reminded of the fact that he had a home, and he instantly felt normal again. Not one to skip a beat though, Shiroyasha squeezed out a smile. "I'm Shiroyasha Aisu." The smile was real, but the joy behind it was paper thin.

After his training with the seven Mondai had wanted some time to relax find nothing else to do on aside from enjoying drink and maybe meeting a pretty lady in pebble but seeing as it wasn't night there was no time for that and instead he would find a place to relax. Upon wondering around and checking out the scenery in pebble Mondai noticed group of kirigakure clan members and it beat being alone or with the enemy seems like wherever he went he was an outsider.

He figured they wouldn't be too bother by his presence and even if they were they weren't strong enough to do something about it regardless. He was a swordsman and on a pure rank by rank basis he figured that they were nobodies since he had never heard of them. But it was possible that their clan members status could land him in some trouble if he didn't handle it properly.

"Any of ya mind if I sit 'ere?" The swordsman rhetorically asked as he sat down anyways truth be told he couldn't care less what they thought. Immediately when Mondai spoke it would be noticeable that he wasn't noble and he didn't have the patience as of late to "fancy" up his speak. The man just wasn't in the mood to sit alone or by other foreign ninja and samurai. He lit a cigarette before scooting into a very relaxed position leaning back on a chair rather 'thugishly' unnoble like more commonly seen with untouchables. "So why are y'all sitting around ere?" seeing as most were either training with fellow or enemy ninja or going out and about and enjoying the festival.

All he could do now was hope that the clan members didn't create an unnecessary scene by his presence.
