Enjoying the festival

Hiroko was currently enjoying the festival and was wandering around enjoying the unique foods they had here. It was fun to relax and enjoy the festivities but she did feel guilty for not training more while here, between the pebble rankings and various other factors it really made her wish she was able to be stronger. But she did her best to distract herself from those issues by exploring the festival grounds. Though soon she found a bunch of strange booth’s filled with classic festival games. Causing her to look on excited when she sees them, trying to see how well she can do at the interesting distractions. As she plays she switches between the various game’s trying them all out Or at least attempting to but considering how many there were it seemed quite tricky.

As time goes on and she gets more and more trinkets from the games she starts to run out of space to hold them and wonders what she should do with all the stuff she has. Causing her to pause her enjoyment for a little to ponder the matter and see if she can come up with a suitable solution.

The Iron Banner hadn't been very productive for Heiya, who hadn't been able to travel to the festival until it was well under way. Much was happening within Iwagakure, and even more within the Shoshiki clan, and Heiya was positioned in an interesting place for both. As a noble, but relatively far down the chain, Heiya's opinion was desired, but valued very little. Oftentimes she was expected to be in important clan meetings or conversations, but was given little opportunity to speak up or give her insights, which made the requirement to be there frustrating. Likewise, as the person that had been put in charge of the jinchuuriki, she was often asked to participate in conversations about happenings in the village, but her 'participation' was more observation than anything.

Now that she was here, however, one of the things she was really concerned about was locating her two little jinchuuriki, who had been escorted here in advance. They would have their guards, and there was little reason to suspect they'd be in danger, but she was still concerned. Especially about Hiroko, who Heiya had more worries about as far as being able to fend for herself.

And lo' and behold, as she movd through the festival, there she would see, Hiroko seemingly collecting prizes from the various games she was winning.

Sneaking up behind Hiroko, she'd tap the young chuunin on the shoulder, "You're not cheating are ya, Hiroko!", Heiya would say excitedly.

As she was having fun on her carnival games and contemplating what to do with her prizes her sensei shows up and questions her honesty. Sure she had lots of prizes but they were all low to mid tier none of the high end ones sadly. Though she did plan on practicing to earn the high end ones. I mean seriously did she really think she was that much of a problem child?! She would then do a fake cough and say “I’m insulted in your lack of faith in me sensei also if I was cheating do you see and large barriers around here?”


I mean really….. I meaaaannnnn reeeeallly why does she always get the short end of the stick with sensei how come she never treats Kotori this way!? Some may think with this behavior she has it out for me like some of the other Enkouton. Sure her reputation has gotten slightly better among the clan and some others outside it after becoming a jinchuriki but still it was far from where she would prefer to be.

It would be nice if she could get more respect and have people be nicer towards her though now that she thinks of it as much as she envies how Heiya sensei treats Kotori she wouldn’t want her to be treated any worse.
