Kisama, Aichi
"Crow’s call echoes peace, like tides leaving Ayuchi, fading like a cry."

“No matter how powerful you become, do not try to shoulder everything alone.”
General Information Age: 16
Gender: Male
Blood Type: O-
Height: 6'7
Weight: 256 lbs.
Eye Color: Hazel
Hair Color: Copper Red
Physical Features:
Impressing everyone who asks how old he is, Aichi appears to be incredibly mature for his age. The Kisama is absolutely gargantuan for not even reaching adulthood, and he stands with an unscrupulous cadence. His skin is a dark olive color, and Aichi has a remarkably clear complextion. The warrior washes his face in aromatic oils to keep himself looking fresh and healthy. He shaves his beard every day, ever persistent with his humble appearance. As a samurai, Aichi is well put together. He has courteous body language and his presence gives one a safe feeling. With a rippling figure, Aichi is all muscle. He is incredibly bulky and has a large chest. Wide set shoulders and thick biceps give Aichi a classically masculine v-shaped torso. He has a remarkably hairy chest and arms, and Aichi's large hands are quite intimidating.
As far as Kisama go, Aichi looks rather alike his clan's norm, with a touch of individual flair. His jawline is chiseled as if it were cut from marble stone, and Aichi has high cheek bones that compliment his appearance. The look on his face might sway a young lady, as he is a remarkably handsome man. Aichi has thick reddish-brown eyebrows, and a high arching ridge. He has a naturally concerned look on his face, but when Aichi smiles he melts hearts. In his mouth Aichi has perfectly straight top teeth, but the bottom row has a crooked tooth in the front. Long red hair drapes down Aichi's back, but the sides are neat and shaved. He has bright, brown eyes that are an almost gold color. Aichi appears striking to those not assustomed to the Kisama clan, but in his family he is just another one of the boys.
Adorned in modest clothing that he crafted himself, Aichi dresses very casually. He wears a black t shirt with a low V-neck, exposing his rippling pectoral muscles and hairy chest. Around his neck, Aichi wears a variety of necklaces that he has put together himself. In his ears are dangling earrings that were passed down by Aichi's father to him. The earrings are his great-great grandfathers, and were worn by mighty warriors of the Kisama clan.
Around his waist, Aichi keeps an apron tied to him. It is a small piece of leather, but it serves it purpose well. Besides keeping Aichi's waist clean, the apron holds a utility pouch in the back. In this utility pouch, Aichi keeps a variety of combat tools, including paper tags, sake, and bandages. Covering his legs, Aichi keeps a pair of black trousers on. They are loose and free falling, giving space for limberness and extreme bursts of energy. For shoes, Aichi keep his feet covered in black slip ons.
Personality:

Practicing to become a strong warrior for his nation, Aichi studies the art of Bushido ultra-seriously. He takes the lessons of a samurai as if they were the laws of reality, because, to him, they are. Aichi is loyal, forthright, and honest, thanks to his work with The Heart Empire. Despite these endearing qualities, however, Aichi can be seen as harsh and stern to strangers. This no-nonsense attitude is strict, and he doesn't waver when his mind is made up. Despite this stringent attitude, Aichi is a free thinker with an open mind, but he can also be withdrawn and even shy.
Growing up with a father who was relatively close to the Shogun, Aichi has always dreamt big. He believes that he can change the world by becoming strong enough to achieve a peace that can deeply settle into humanities core. Power is what Aichi seeks, and he goes to great lengths to attain it. Aichi trains his body to the limit, and he is thankful for what he has grasped thus far. When asked about his dreams, Aichi is confident that he will accomplish them one day. Aichi strictly follows the law, with unyielding allegiance to his nation. He never doubts himself and remains mirthful through adversity.
As a youth, Aichi displayed an incredibly mature intelligence. With his father as a samurai for The Heart Empire, Aichi looked up to his dad as a role model. He grew up learning how to perform as a samurai, and that required Aichi to be profoundly intelligent for his age. Before he had wielded his first blade, Aichi possessed all of the ethics and morals of a great warrior. When he finally did transform his body into a blade for Heart, Aichi proved to be an immovable force on the battlefield. With comprehensive knowledge of combat, Aichi displayed prodigal talent that is only seen once in a generation. He is a genius, and any one who comes to know Aichi is soon to be impressed by his scope of talent.
With a large breadth of power at his disposal, Aichi remains fearless through most circumstances. It is hard to shake Aichi. He has killed enough people that he no longer fears death. Aichi is mostly audacious and indomitable, but he does have his weaknesses. Aichi is deeply terrified of hurting his family as a samurai. Whether that be through death, or worse, Aichi is often stricken with anxiety and intrusive thoughts about his families potential demise. Everything he does is to protect them, and change the world, he is deeply afraid of failing those he loves and not doing his best on Earth.

Rank: A-Ranked, Natsubushi
Combat Mentality: When combat begins, Aichi uses his quick thinking mind to analyze his opponent. Typically he will choose a weapon to transform his body into, and try to close the distance between him and his opponent. Close Quarters Combat is Aichi's specialty, but he is equally as dangerous at a distance with Katon jutsu or Fuuton techniques.

Ring of Crows:
Description:This ring is 36 millimeters in diameter and made out of white gold. The crown of the ring holds a garnet gemstone that has been polished smoothly and engraved with the kanji - 緋 - for "Scarlet". The ring has several stress cracks in it from centuries of use on the battlefield. It was passed down to Aichi Kisama by his father, Karasu Kisama, who received it from his father, and so on. The ring comes with a contract to the Kisama families signature crows. Recently there was an engraving on the inside of the band. The engraving reads "No matter how powerful you become, do not try to shoulder everything alone." Aichi Kisama wears the Ring of Crows on his right hand's pinky finger.
Crow Substitution:After channeling chakra into the Ring of Crows and charging it, the user may activate the technique. The charge lasts for 5 posts. Once the ring has been charged, the user has spent the chakra required to activate this technique, whether they activate it or not.
When they are struck with an attack, the user may activate this technique. Upon activation, the user's body will disperse into a murder of 6 crows. The user will suffer no damage, and instead instantly appear somewhere 30 meters from where they were "hurt." Upon getting "hurt" the crows will fly toward the one who attacked the user with [Control] Speed and peck at them with [Control] Strength. This technique can only be activated once per thread, with the user's count of Change of Body Stance Technique against it.

AbilitiesShow
Oudouchi:A previously nomadic tribe that have begun to settle in the confines of New Tea country, the Kisama clan are known for being drunks, fighters, monsters, and geniuses, all due in part to their Oudouchi bloodline. Their unique chakra and unique blood mixes with any amount of alcohol in their systems, causing their body to shift and transform to their will, taking on new shapes and appearances. Through the use of associated taijutsu the clan member may shift different parts of their body at a speed equal to their own into various different weapons and tools. All transformations must be non-biological in nature, but a seemingly endless number of effects may be achieved within the creativity and knowledge of the clan member.
These transformations need not be limited to staying on their body, with advanced techniques allowing them to put out tools and parts from their body with a weight in kilograms equal to their strength. All such creations have a strength equal to the strength of the clan member. Oudouchi techniques are taijutsu by default, but any jutsu that would make objects move of their own volition without outside force would constitute ninjutsu. Making these creations is draining on the body as one might expect, acting as ninjutsu if creations are made externally, while internal creations act as if they were taijutsu. While the clan member needs alcohol in their system to perform these techniques, all that is required is a small sip at any point during the day to power them for the rest of the day, many turn to alcoholism of their own volition, however.

Sensory:Sensor
Sensors are shinobi who are able to activate a sixth sense which can locate and read chakra sources. Sensory is advantageous as it allows shinobi to perceive without using any of their conventional senses, which can easily be deceived. Sensors are able to collect a lot of information through the interpretation of this sixth sense.
Katon:Katon Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Katon affinity. Katon has a passive ignition effect.Passive (Ignition)ShowKaton's effect is ignition, which means that all katon jutsu, regardless of effect, start and spread fire from their source. Once a jutsu has been performed, the fire from the jutsu spreads at 1/3rd the speed of the technique, rounded down. That means a C-rank katon jutsu that moves at 13 speed would create subsequent fires that spread at 4 speed. These secondary fires require flammable material to continuously spread, otherwise they will burn out on their own. Additionally, Katon jutsu have a Burning effect, and burn anyone they come in contact with with [Control] strength.
Fuuton Affinity:Fuuton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Fuuton affinity. Fuuton has an cutting effect.Passive (Cutting)ShowFuuton has a natural cutting property to it, that exists in all jutsu unless otherwise stated. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/2 the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 20 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 10 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.
Ninjutsu: Advanced Channeling:This user has superb chakra control, and has learned to perform jutsu by channeling, without the use of hand seals. The user can channel any Ninjutsu that is designed to be channeled, and there are no specified parameters in which a jutsu must fall to be channeled by this method.

Thieves' Tools
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By focusing their blood to their fingers, the Kisama clan member will turn their fingers on both hands into a set of lockpicks and associated tools necessary to make such things work. Using these, most simple locks will be opened with nearly a snap of the fingers, but more advanced locks will take time and knowledge to properly decipher and open, unless the user has seen the key used to open the lock.

Akibushi's Tools
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By focusing their blood to their hands, the Kisama clan member will turn one or both of their hands into a simple weapon of their choice, ranging from small daggers to full-sized war hammers, but no greater than [strength]/3 meters in size.
~Oudouchi
Brass Shield
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By focusing their blood over the entirety of their body, a piece of natural armor will sprout from their body in a place of their choice. While possible to create full body armor with this technique, each section (head, arms, legs, chest, feet) must be created one at a time.
~Oudouchi
Hidden Spikes
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By focusing their blood over any part of their body, usually the hands or shoulders, this assassin's technique causes a single spike about 1 meter long in a conical shape to sprout upon contact with a surface, forcing through targets at a strength equal to the user's own.
~Oudouchi
Eye Protection
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By focusing their blood over their face, the clansfolk will cause a frame of their brass blood to surround their eyes with a tightly woven texture. These pieces of eye protection block out even the smallest particulates, and even limit the amount of light that filters into the member's eyes, helping to prevent blindness from things like flashbangs, or blinding snow, but do make it harder to see and work with.

ShindenShow
*[Shinden • Swaying Peltandra]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The use of larger swords and hafted weapons often makes close-quarters maneuvering of the practitioner's weapon more difficult. By placing one hand on the pommel/butt of the hilt or low section of the weapon's haft, the user is able to more easily maneuver, twist, slide, and flip their weapon in close quarters to cover a wider range of offensive and defensive options, using the second hand to give full power to their attacks and techniques. This Discipline represents the practitioner's mastery of this basic concept, allowing them to lessen the impact of their weapon's natural blind spots and weaknesses.
*[Shinden • Ambidexterity]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After practicing for a long amount of time with the concept of using both of their hands with equal skill, the user has developed a level of ambidexterity that allows them to utilize both hands equally and as effectively without any penalty. This extends to other methods of combat or simple everyday life as well.
*[Shinden • Swaying Cattail]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): 8 Strength.
A practitioner of Shinden must be able to control their weapon as easily as their own breath. This Discipline represents the practitioner's capacity to both change the orientation of their weapon to cover a different part of their body while spinning said weapon and to immediately change the direction said weapon is spinning without loss of defensive or offensive momentum.
*[Shinden • Stream Splitting]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A simple setup technique, the practitioner quickly and continuously spins their weapon in their hands, capable of switching their weapon between each hand if they wish. This technique can serve as a defense against projectiles and attacks, but its primary purpose is to set up the practitioner for their next attack or technique. Any attack or technique used after the practitioner uses this technique will be instantly launched at the practitioner's maximum Strength and Speed.
*[Shinden • Branch Cleaver]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
One of Shinden's most basic offensive techniques, the practitioner raises their weapon over their head, using gravity and inertia to add momentum to their next attack. The practitioner then launches a ferocious two-handed swing in any single direction. The practitioner executes the cut in a circular motion, allowing them to quickly bring the weapon back to guard against a potential counterattack.
*[Shinden • Hiding Under Mangroves]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Designed to catch unsuspecting foes by surprise, the practitioner can use this technique either as an offensive technique or as a counterattack. Using part of their weapon's hilt or guard (i.e. the pommel/butt of a sword's hilt), the practitioner bashes the opponent's head or face with the handle of their weapon before coming down with a swing in the opposite direction of the first strike. Landing the first blow makes it more likely that the second attack will find purchase on the opening created by the first attack of this technique. If the practitioner's Strength is 5 higher than the opponent's Endurance, this technique will cause immediate localized inflammation and hairline fractures on the point of impact.
*[Shinden • Grass Cutter]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 8 Strength, 8 Speed.
A simple yet devastating technique, the practitioner executes a powerful thrust towards the opponent. At the end of the thrust, or just as the blade is making contact with the opponent if it hits, the practitioner violently rotates the blade in any single direction and finishes the technique with a slash in the direction the sword was twisted. This additional rotation and slash at the end can further damage opponents or catch an opponent that has evaded the original thrust by strafing to either side, ducking, or jumping.
*[Shinden • Royal Fern]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 8 Strength, 8 Speed.
Using Shinden's superlative strength to bend the earth to their will, the practitioner spins their weapon and strikes the ground with a powerful blow, breaking the ground beneath them. Depending on the terrain, slabs of earth, rock, and stone will be uplifted where the practitioner struck, providing a temporary barrier against projectiles and attacks. These slabs of earth have a Strength equal to the practitioner's Strength, but they only remain for three posts.
*[Shinden • Toad Skin]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Shinden users understand that the size of their weapons cause naturally occurring blind spots and have trained to shore up those weaknesses in their defense. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to more finely control the natural blind spots of their weapons, passively strengthening their defenses and even allowing the practitioner to bait ignorant opponents into traps. This Discipline also allows the practitioner to easily wield their preferred two-handed weapon with one hand, if applicable.

Charging at the opponent, the practitioner grips the weapon's hilt or haft with one hand and rests their other hand on the pommel or butt of the haft or hilt with the other. As they drive their weapon forward in a thrust, the practitioner quickly torques the muscles in their forearm, wrist, and hand on the pommel/butt of the weapon and spin the weapon in their hand like a drill, greatly increasing the penetrative power of the thrust as they drive it into the opponent's guard and, hopefully, through their bodies. If the practitioner's Strength is 5 higher than the opponent's Endurance, this technique will cause hairline fractures, localized inflammation, and minor internal bleeding.
*[Shinden • Leaping Toad]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Shinden • Stream Splitting].
Taking to the sky, the practitioner jumps off of the ground, engaging their weapon in a ferocious spin. The practitioner can choose to complete this technique in one of three ways: a powerful diving swing or thrust, a somersaulting overhead strike, or a midair dodge by swinging the weapon in any single direction and allowing the momentum generated by the weight of the weapon and the swing to carry them in that direction. Due to the sheer momentum of this technique, if the practitioner's Strength is higher than the opponent's Endurance, any armor or weapon used to defend against this technique will be rendered ineffective, either by being rent from the opponent's hand or broken outright. This technique is not as effective when performed with a normal sword or katana.
*[Shinden • Toad Lash]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 15 Strength, 15 Speed.
The practitioner will momentarily dig the tip of their weapon into the ground, quickly build a large amount of tension in their muscles. The practitioner will then release the tension into a wide, sweeping cut in any single direction, curving away from the ground to avoid lodging their weapon into the ground if choosing an overhead swing. If the practitioner's Strength is 5 higher than the opponent's Endurance, this technique will knock the opponent up or away a number of meters equal to the practitioner's Strength in addition to the damage normally taken from this technique. The practitioner can immediately transition into a defensive weapon spin to shore up openings after the technique if they wish.
*[Shinden • Toad Boils]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 15 Strength, 15 Speed.
The practitioner will engage their weapon in a continuous spin, the weapon spinning in multiple directions so as to cover the practitioner on all sides. This seemingly chaotic series of spins actually serves as a simultaneous defense and offense for the practitioner, allowing them to both defend against an opponent's attacks and projectiles as well as rush the opponent with a flurry of alternating strikes from a variety of angles. The practitioner can maintain this technique for a number of posts equal to their Strength stat.
*[Shinden • Turtle Shell]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 15 Strength, 15 Speed.
Momentarily torquing their muscles in their arms, the practitioner slams their weapon's blade or tip down into the ground, releasing the tension in a violent rotation as it plunges into the ground. Depending on the terrain, a doubled circular wall of large twisting rocks, stone, and bedrock will be uplifted and erupt from the ground, potentially striking opponents and providing a defense against attacks and projectiles. These slabs of earth have a Strength equal to the practitioner's Strength, but they only remain for four posts.
*[Shinden • Alligator Skin]
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Shinden practitioners learn how to handle their large weapons so accurately that they wield them as proficiently as any normal warrior with a smaller weapon. This Discipline represents the practitioner’s capacity to seamlessly fight with their two-handed weapon of choice as if it were a one-handed weapon. This allows them to perform quicker, more complex movements, guards, and attacks with their weapon of choice without any penalty related to the size or weight of the weapon.
*[Shinden • Alligator Scales]
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A Shinden practitioner learns to endure and deaden pain and resist shock. This Discipline represents the practitioner’s ability to not flinch or be staggered by attacks they receive of equal or lower Strength than their Strength stat. It also represents the toughened skin and bones the practitioner has developed throughout their training, lessening pain and preventing minor injuries that the practitioner would otherwise suffer during the course of combat or inflict on themselves using Shinden techniques.
*[Shinden • Alligator Jaw Vice]
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 25 Strength, 25 Speed, *[Shinden • Toad Boils].
An improvement on its parent technique, the practitioner will engage their weapon in a continuous spin, the weapon spinning in multiple directions so as to cover the practitioner on all sides. This seemingly chaotic series of spins actually serves as a simultaneous defense and offense for the practitioner, allowing them to both defend against an opponent's attacks and projectiles as well as rush them opponent with a flurry of alternating strikes from a variety of angles. The practitioner can also incorporate quick thrusts to further pressure the opponent or counterattack, increasing the effectiveness of the defense the technique provides. The practitioner can maintain this technique for a number of posts equal to their Strength stat.
*[Shinden • Twisting Alligator]
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 35 Strength, 25 Speed, *[Shinden • Snapping Turtle].
One of Shinden’s most lethal techniques, the practitioner points their weapon toward the opponent, one hand at the base of the hilt or haft of the weapon and the other on the butt/pommel of the hilt or haft. Momentarily torquing their muscles, the practitioner violently spins the weapon in their grip. The strength of the rotation causes a vacuum to occur at the tip of the weapon, drawing any opponent in within a 25-meter radius with a Strength equal to 1/2 the practitioner’s Strength, rounded down. Should an opponent be close enough, the practitioner will charge and violently thrust their weapon in and through the opponent, the vacuum increasing the lethality of the thrust.
*[Shinden • River Splitting]
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 35 Strength, 25 Speed, *[Shinden • Stream Splitting].
Momentarily torquing the muscles in their arms, shoulders and back, the practitioner channels that force into a wide, powerful swing. This swing, aside from being plenty deadly in its own right, produces a twisting horizontal pressure wave measuring ten feet in diameter which travels at a Speed and for a number of meters equal to the practitioner’s Strength and strikes with a force equal to 2/3 the practitioner’s Strength, rounded down. This twister is able to pick up water, dirt, fire, and small debris, potentially increasing the damage the pressure wave can cause.
*[Shinden • Snapping Turtle]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Charging at the opponent, the practitioner grips the weapon's hilt or haft with one hand and rests their other hand on the pommel or butt of the haft or hilt with the other. IaidoShow
*[Iaido • Ancestral Focus]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The hallmark of Iaido is its practitioners abilities to launch an attack even when their swords are sheathed. This Discipline represents the practitioner's capacity to consistently execute a sword draw and slash all in one movement by gripping the edge of the scabbard and pulling the scabbard slightly forward before drawing the sword. This Discipline enables the practitioner to immediately draw their sword and attack at the start of combat.
*[Iaido • Weapon Mastery]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Since Iaido is a style that prioritizes speed over brute strength, wise usage of the blade is paramount to the practitioner's success in the style. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge of their weapon's strengths and weaknesses in combat, allowing them to use the weapon more efficiently both inside and outside of its use in Iaido techniques and avoid unnecessarily presenting their weapon's blind spots to the opponent.
**[Iaido • One with the Sheath]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): 8 Speed.
The practitioner has learned how to more quickly and efficiently sheath his blades. The practitioner can now seamlessly transition from drawing their blade to slash to sheathing their blade, allowing the practitioner to sheath their sword in half the time, up to a maximum speed equal to their Speed score, for the more rapid execution of Iaido techniques.
*[Iaido • Last Breath]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The most iconic (and most basic) strike of Iaido, the practitioner quickly draws and cuts with their blade in a wide arc in one fluid motion. This simultaneous draw and attack straight from the scabbard makes Iaido well-suited for an initial surprise attack and for taking advantage of openings presented by the opponent.
*[Iaido • Mantra]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A simple yet potent defense, especially against other weapons users, the practitioner partially draws the sword from its scabbard and blocks incoming attacks with the back of their blade. This technique is ineffective against opponents with higher Strength than the practitioner's Strength.
*[Iaido • Last Rites]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A defensive technique particularly useful when an opponent is close to the practitioner or is clinching them in a grapple, the practitioner grabs the hilt of their sword with a reverse grip and rams the butt or pommel of the hilt into the opponent's body, pushing the opponent back a number of meters equal to the difference between their Strength scores. Conversely, against opponents with higher Strength than their own, the practitioner can use this technique to push themselves back a number of meters equal to their own Strength score. The speed and simplicity of the attack can push opponents away and give the practitioner the needed space to set up additional attacks.
*[Iaido • Clouding Eyes]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 8 Speed.
A simple technique meant to cripple the target's vision, the practitioner draws the sword from its scabbard and aims a quick slash at the eyes. This technique can be done in any single direction to either target one or both of the opponent's eyes.
*[Iaido • Shinigami Draw]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Losing the use of one's hand or arm in a fight can be a death sentence, but Iaido has found a simple, elegant response to this desperate situation. Using their free hand, the practitioner momentarily braces the edge of their sword against the inside of the scabbard before drawing. While it does not confer the instant acceleration benefit of its parent technique, this Discipline does allow the practitioner to use Iaido techniques at their normal speed even with only one hand.
*[Iaido • One with the Sword]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): *[Iaido • One with the Sheath].
The practitioner has learned how to more quickly and efficiently sheath his blades even without the use of both hands. The practitioner can now sheath the blade just as quickly with one hand as could be done with two hands, and so long as the scabbard remains on their person, the practitioner will always have an exact knowledge of the position of their scabbard.
*[Iaido • Ancestral Visage]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Using Iaido to its fullest requires a keen eye and quick reactions, enabling its users to target weaknesses and openings that their opponents present almost instantaneously. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to attack openings that present themselves, the practitioner now able to reflexively attack an opening in almost the same moment that it is observed. This Discipline reduces the gap of time between a practitioner recognizing a potential opening for attack and launching the attack to exploit said opening to almost nil.
*[Iaido • Death’s Gate]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 15 Speed.
Drawing upon the superlative speed of Iaido, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their body to draw their sword from its scabbard and deliver a blindingly fast slash before sheathing their blade. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. Otherwise, they cannot accurately read the attack and will be unlikely to completely avoid the attack, if at all.
*[Iaido • Peace in Death]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 15 Speed.
An abnormally aggressive technique in Iaido, this technique serves as a preemptive counter, attacking the opponent in the split moment between drawing back to prepare an attack and launching said attack. Violently torquing the muscles in their legs, the practitioner more quickly accelerates to their maximum speed (or instantly accelerating to their max speed if their Strength is equal or higher than their Speed) than with normal movement. With this movement, the practitioner bolts toward the opponent and launches an attack, cutting the opponent as they pass to their side. This technique can be used while moving to immediately change direction instead before launching the attack. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique.
*[Iaido • Shinigami’s Wrath]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 15 Speed.
A technique refining the concept of targeting multiple opponents with a single draw, the practitioner uses their sheath hand to reverse grip the hilt. Using the one hand, the practitioner quickly torques their body and cuts with a reverse hand slash a full 360 degrees before immediately sheathing the blade. This technique can strike multiple opponents at once, and the reverse grip of the sword allows the practitioner to more easily defend against counterattacks immediately after.
*[Iaido • One with the Spirit]
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): *[Iaido • One with the Sheath], *[Iaido • One with the Sword].
Through incredible amounts of practice, the practitioner of Iaido has learned his weapon and its housing inside and out. The user of this weapon can now reflexively sheath their sword in its scabbard almost instantaneously by instinct with either one hand or both hands without even looking. This facilitates further use of other Iaido techniques.
*[Iaido • Spectral Flight]
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): 15 Strength, 25 Speed, *[Iaido • Ancestral Visage].
In order for Iaido to stand toe to toe with a variety of high-level opponents, refining fundamentals to a new height is necessary. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to more quickly accelerate to max movement speed and decelerate to a full stop at a moment's notice. This does not offer protection against attacks that the practitioner does not know is coming.
*[Iaido • Silent Passing]
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Iaido • Death’s Gates].
Unlike most of Iaido's techniques, Silent Passing is not particularly useful in the heat of combat. Instead, it is an attack meant to be executed from a standing position, such as while casually walking towards an opponent. Once in close enough proximity to the opponent, the practitioner draws their sword, strikes the opponent's opening, and sheaths their blade with such speed, it appears to the untrained eye that the practitioner continued to simply walk past their target. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. Otherwise, the opponent will not be capable of fully avoiding this attack if they are in range without some sort of passive defense.
*[Iaido • Death Draw]
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 20 Strength, 25 Speed, *[Iaido • Death’s Gate], *[Iaido • Spectral Flight].
Building upon the premise established by the Death's Gate technique, this technique now makes it possible to use the technique against opponents at greater distances. Drawing upon the superlative speed of Iaido, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their body to instantly accelerate to their maximum speed. Dashing a number of meters equal to the practitioner's Strength, they draw their sword from its scabbard and deliver a blindingly fast slash before resheathing their blade. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. Otherwise, the opponent cannot accurately read the attack and will be unlikely to completely avoid the attack, if at all.

The Dove Hatches Beside The CrowShow
The night sky was thick with smokey, white clouds, and crickets were chirping loudly from their hiding places. In between the stridulation of the cricket's wings, another scream in the night could be heard. Usagi Kisama had been in labor for nearly 36 hours, and she couldn't take it any longer. The woman wailed in her hospital bed, crying and gasping for air. This pregnancy had been particularly turbulent for Usagi, with twins she hardly had any space in her body for herself, and on top of that, both of Usagi's children were ill-positioned in the womb. If the doctor didn't get these babies out, the children would die. Fortunately in the first twenty-four hours, the doctor had managed to cut out one of the children. A boy with just a tuft of red hair and the quietest cry. The doctor passed the child to his nurse, he needed his full attention to save the other child.
The condition of Usagi was getting worse. There was blood pouring out of her. The child still inside of Usagi had detached from the uterine wall, it was a dangerous situation. The children could be saved, but after such a long delivery, Usagi's life would be lost. She screamed and screamed, suffering in terrible pain and worried to literal death for her children.
Another thirty minutes passed by and the doctor was able to remove the second child from Usagi, and it was the best-case scenario. Usagi had lost her life, fighting for her children. The doctor couldn't save her, and there was enough blood in the room to drown a horse. Karasu Kisama, Usagi's long-loved husband, was there to see it all. He had made the call to save the children. It was nearly unbearable for him, but he had a light at the end of the tunnel. Karasu looked forward to raising his children, he loved them dearly already. The middle-aged man had tears in his eyes as the nurses gave him his children.

A Burgeoning Dream of PeaceShow
For the first two weeks of the Kisama twins's lives, they remained at the hospital. Karasu Kisama had to bury his wife, and he needed space to do so properly. Besides that, the boy was not taking well to surrogate breast milk. They needed to perform tests on him to produce a proper formula, and it was best the twins were kept together while the son of Karasu Kisama was being tended to.
When Karasu brought his children home, the house was empty and crestfallen. There were multiple pictures on the wall, and that would have normally made Karasu feel joy when he walked through his ranch house's front doors. Unfortunately, without his wife at his side, Karasu was reminded only of happier times, and the empty memories seemed to be so far away. With a heavy heart, he brought both of his children through the front door.
After putting both of the babies to bed, Karasu decided to finally name them. The girl was named after the beautiful innocence that her mother had left the baby with, and the boy was named after a great ninja from Konohagakure no Sato. His name would be Aichi Kisama, and he would be born with a great passion inside of him.
Growing up, Aichi Kisama proved to be an incredibly smart infant. At just a month old Aichi's eyes could be seen darting around the room, following the movements of flies. The baby was incredibly vigilant, and as he grew old enough to walk, Aichi would find himself wandering the ranch where Karasu's family dwelled. By just a year old, Aichi was able to run with little trouble. He was truly a genius, and he got around the house with surprising grace for his size.
Between him and his sister, Aichi was the quieter one. He was always thinking, considering what he would do and say. He loved to read, and Aichi would spend a lot of his time reading children's books about legendary samurai. From just two years old, Aichi was reading books and dreaming of becoming a samurai. The boy didn't know it, but his father was a warrior of renown. Karasu had fought in the battles to free Shark Country, he was a mighty samurai and garnered the highest respect from others. Aichi quickly learned that his father was the kind of man he would strive to be.
When he was three years old, Aichi began training to become a samurai. His father was a legendary general, and a leader of troops. As he was just a child, Aichi yearned to be powerful like his pa. The young boy was enrolled in formal Bushido training courses, learning about chakra and Ninjutsu for the first time. Aichi was molded into a fledgling warrior quickly. He grew to wield the blades of brass well, and soon it was time for his father to teach him about the world.
As a samurai, Karasu was a noble and upright man. He worked hard to serve the people of Heart, and he was proud to do so. He was, however, plagued by memories of war. Karasu was a dark man, haunted by his misgivings and imprisoned by his desires. Karasu was powerful, but he had many flaws.
One day Karasu took his son to a battle-field where the dead were still lying in the dirt. Their bodies were twisted and contorted by weapons of the Kisama clan. Their faces were mutilated beyond recognition with the very tools that Aichi yearned to master. The boy, just 4 years old, was struck with terror. Aichi couldn't scream, he could only follow his father through the sea of corpses and listen to him speak.
"The Kisama clan is a family, a band, a troop, of warriors that forge the path for Heart. With our weapons we have claimed the lives of these fools, we have shown them the right path towards the means of their end. The Kisama clan relishes the honor of fighting for Heart. The Kisama clan works to maintain peace for Heart!" Karasu stopped where he was walking, and turned around to face his son. Aichi had a deadpan look on his face.e He was so scared of the things he saw, and what he heard from his father's mouth, that it was impossible to cry. Though, that's what he wanted to do.
As his father looked into his son's eyes, Aichi's mind raced with the words that only those who suffer have heard ringing through their ears. "Why must we kill? These people, there are so many. How can there be love in the world, with so much suffering?" Aichi finally broke, the weight of his inner monologue cracking his skull clean in two. The four year old broke a single tear.
Karasu smiled at Aichi, a rare occurrence for the distant father. He put his hand on Aichi's copper red hair and said to his boy, "Don't be scared, Aichi. You are going to claim your stake in this war. You are going to make your name draw fear from the hearts of our enemies. Cherish this moment, Aichi. For in this moment, you grow strong. You will find your role in the dance of Bushido, have confidence in yourself, my boy." That was what Karasu called Aichi when he was happy with him.
Wiping the tears from his face, Aichi looked around once again at the corpses around him. He tried to speak, but his voice escaped him. After a moment of mustering his courage, the boy finally said to his father, "I swear to you, father, I will change Heart with my sword. I will bring an era of peace to this world, as the most powerful warrior alive." Aichi spoke from the heart. He wanted nothing more than to end this moment with his father, to be free of the dead bodies and empty dreams of the forgotten.
In that moment, Aichi's dream was forged in the furnace of the Kisama Clan's most dangerous craft. Aichi was imparted with the dream of every soldier at war. He had never felt so connected to the Earth as he did walking through the blood of his enemies. Empowered by these lost souls, Aichi swore that he would bring an era of peace unlike anything this world has ever seen, no matter what it cost him.

Dawn Rises With White LightShow
When he was 6 years old, Aichi was finally able to enter the Doushikai Academy in Xincha. He had always lived on the outskirts of the city, dreaming of the days when he would get the chance to train with the official samurai of Heart. Up until his Acadamy years, Aichi had only trained with his clan. The young boy longed to understand the complexities of the world, and learning about other people was one of his treasured lessons. Aichi entered the Academy with high hopes for himself.
Unfortunately for Aichi, it was more fun training with his clan. The Acadamy was a lot of book stuff, and he didn't end up learning a lot of things in the Acadamy. Aichi was years ahead of the students he trained with, and he found himself to be held back by the confinement of Academy student status. Eventually, though, he would be recognized as a prodigal student, and Aichi was pushed along the official path of becoming an Akibushi at the ripe old age of 9. During the three years he proved himself to the samurai, Aichi held his dream close to his heart. The young boy was going to go to every end to justify his ambitions for peace.
As an Akibushi, Aichi spent much of his time working with two older samurai on simple missions. Aichi was once again confined by his rank, and his talents were wasting away. Years passed by, and Aichi maintained his place as the most well-performing Akibushi to date. He broke all types of records, graduating from the academy at just the age of 9 was the first, but he also excelled in samurai missions. Aichi always managed to cinch a victory for his squad, and he was a good leader.
Eventually, Aichi's sister would be promoted to Akibushi too, and Aichi entered a period of his life where he began to connect with other people. Drinking liquor became a pasttime for him, not just a necessity to perform. Aichi softened his heart and grew to be content with his place as a samurai. Before he felt confined and stifled, but with his sister there to ease the pain of his days, Aichi became content with the path laid out in front of him.
Unbeknownst to Aichi, his skills were recognized, and he was proceeding along the path quite appropriately. Aichi's mentor was working with higher-ups in Xincha to cultivate Aichi's skills as fully as possible. The cold truth was that samurai work began at the bottom, and no matter the talent, a samurai had to start at the bottom.
When he was 16, Aichi was approached by his sensei with the Call to Tea, a journey to travel the nation and become familiar with the people whom he guarded. It was the next step in Aichi's samurai career, and he took it on with pride. Aichi had grown patient, he had matured. The Akibushi rushed to the countryside with his sensei.
The man who would be leading Aichi on his Call to Tea was a Natsubushi by the name of Fu Kyoho. Fu was a very skilled samurai, with a good reputation as a warrior and gambler. He was said to be very lucky when it came to roulette. Fu took Aichi across the countries of Heart, training him to meld with the people as a samurai. His position held great honor in Heart, it was up to Aichi to prove it. Of course, Aichi picked up on everything right away. He was truly a gifted young man, and before he knew it the Call to Tea was over. He had integrated with the people of his country, helping them with martial affairs. In one case, Aichi helped a farmer track down bandits. In another case, Aichi helped a group of travelers build a bridge across a dangerous river. He truly reached out to the people, and they answered him. Aichi was always a forthright man, but after his Call to Tea, he became truly ignited with the desire to step forward and lead his country to peace.
