[Weapon Thread] A random Crown

Just outside the major city of the heart empire, just off a barely used trail was a small clearing that seemed to almost appear out of nowhere. The clearing itself was only around thirty meters in size but outside of the clearing was a ten-meter area of fog that limited vision to only around a meter or so for those with normal vision. After one passed through the clearing, they would find a series of statues that appeared to be of ancient rules though the features of them had been lost to the erosion of time. But that statues seemed to form a circle around one individual statue that word a unique crown with a brilliant ruby in the center of it.

Fuhen was NOT familiar with his new home of Tea Country, but the area around the capital had become fairly well known to him. This made it all the more shocking, when after returning home from a visit to River Country, the fog got quite dense, and he felt like he was getting lost. Fogs like this often happened in River, either when the humidity was so high that the air broke, or after a nice, dense rain, but in New Tea? This felt foreign, odd.

After walking through it and discovering the statues in the clearing, he looked around suspiciously, before shrugging, walking right up to the center, and placing his hands on either side of the crown. "Nifty." Was all he said, and suddenly he felt like the crown was part of him, something that always should have been, his spirit claimed ownership over the crown with his Shogun ability, and lo, he put it on his head slowly. He avoided wearing such gaudy jewelry as this as the Shogun of Tea, and he really didn't like this one, either. He cursed his soul for allowing such a strange piece into his collection of Hitodama.

Chiaki walked through the forests, she had to be near Konoha again right?

Her sense of direction had dropped off when she had stopped being a 'true' chuunin for the village hidden in the clouds and she moved with a sort of wandering, bumbling step, wondering whether she would find either someone who would be willing to show her to the village or something that would interest her. She was fond of wandering, and had a knack for not only getting herself lost, but also getting herself found by interesting people.

She walked forward and found herself surrounded by fog.

Well that was great. There was really no way for her to tell which direction she was heading so should she sit down and just mope about it? Better to move ahead and make sure that she was covering ground. She had no clue where she was, where she had been, nor where she was headed, but the fog wasn't all that thick so she wouldn't be in danger of walking into any trees or such.

She stumbled into the clearing. Well, stumbled was probably something nicer than what she did. Her foot got caught on a twig, then she took a step forward, stepping on her gi, then she sumersaulted into the clearing, one shoe flung one way, another the other way, her staff left behind, and the contents of her backpack strewn around her.

She started to hastily put her things back in her bag, grumbling about fog, and hidden roots, and all that sort of business when she looked up and saw a figure standing in the clearing, surrounded by statues, staring at a statue and wearing a crown on its head. She couldn't tell from this distance whether the person was male or female.

"Hello!" She called to the person, stepping into her shoe, righting her gi, and smiling at the figure. As she pulled up her backpack she stepped a bit closer, "I'm Kyoukan Chiaki-cha." She tilted her head to the side to look at the bauble that sat atop the figure's head, "That's a lovely tiara you have there-cha!"

Unfortunately, Kozue had missed meeting Fuhen during his return to River country. But naturally, he had heard of his new Heart Empire and the liberation he had brought to the lands that had fallen under the hold of the titans for a number of years. It was with a youthful optimism that the child of Takiyasha set off on his own to find New Tea country and see its capital. Having lived within River country for his entire 10 years of life, navigation outside of the swamps and rivers was foreign to him. However, it had been easy enough to ask for directions here and there and he had only been set upon a handful of times by those who would aim to exploit or deceive him.

Resting his bamboo staff over his shoulder, the small, lanky boy moved swiftly, a youthful spring in his step as he occasionally leaped over obstacles or between trees. His bare feet were adept at gripping branches and even with just one free hand, it was effortless for him to traverse most natural terrains. Though as the ground became more barren and a fog rolled in he slowed his approach, finding himself focusing on his senses and trusting his intuition to guide him through.

Soon, he found himself in a clearing adorned with statues. And though visibility was poor he heard the voices of at least two others. He heard a commotion as a woman fell and his head moved on a swivel toward her direction. “Are you okay!? Here, let me help!” he called out, twirling his staff around his body with great strength and speed, buffeting through the air and pushing back the surrounding fog until he could see the woman clearly. He hadn’t noticed the other person at first, the one she addressed as the fog began to clear. Kozue’s amber eyes widened in surprise and awe, “Hey! yer him! It’s you, inn’t? The Great River King, Iyashii Fuhen-Sama” he gleamed, pointing as he noticed the tall stature of the man and the basket of swords across his back. He hadn’t laid eyes upon the man since he was only 3 or 4 but the stories were more than enough to keep his likeness known. Turning his attention back to the woman that had fallen he helped gather some of her things and make sure she wasn’t injured. “My name is Kozue of River Country, I’m a child of Takiyasha” he introduced, shaking the woman’s hand with vigor but also turning to smile at the man that was a great legend and idol of his people.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
The foundational stance of the Kushou style, Low Wind Rising involves the spinning of the user’s spear or polearm around their body constantly whilst remaining in motion. While in this stance, the user will be able to deflect projectiles with less strength than their own, while also making unpredictable movements of their spear.

An old man walked in his due time towards what could only be assumed to be a rumor. Around him were a couple of idle vagrants and vagabonds he'd met during his visit to the heart country. The poor and destitute were not a staple of sunagakure and he made new friends out in those lands. These friends, for lack of anything better to do, would accompany him on his little visit. The old man wanted to find a crown with seemingly metaphysical properties. The legends around it were inconclusive. Some sources stated 'mind reading' while others referenced it as a beacon for lost Gods. Either way, the boy hiding beneath the guise of a homeless man wanted to know.

From a distance, he and his peers would observe the players arriving to get their clutches on the crown. "Do not interfere or pester these people," Toya warned his homeless friends. His plans were several. If the crown was there for the taking it'd be his, but competing over it with other ninjas in combat felt volatile. A game of chance the boy wasn't willing to partake in. However, surviving and knowing the face of the crown's owner felt like valuable information on its own. So he would sit together with the others and watch the play of life unfold.

Of course, Fuhen had heard the approach of these people through the mist, smelled them, felt them on the air, his senses prickling upon what was once to be an empty field. Their footsteps, with the exception of a group off in the distance, did not belay them attempting to make a sneak attack, and so he filed it away in the back of his mind, unimportant, he didn't need to know they were present until they made themselves present. And make themselves present, a pair of them did! Rather clumsily, it seemed. He heard their voices before he turned to face them, and they were... unexpected.

He blinked. They were a strange pair, and didn't seem to be together. What drug them to this place, at this time? It was clear neither of them was from Tea Country, though perhaps the Takiyasha boy could be a refugee, but he didn't recognized him. "Ooh, uh, aye..." He said, eyeing the woman up and down in response to her observation, adjusting it slightly on his head. "Makes me feel like a pretty princess, ya ken?" The Frog's confused look turned jovial, and he laughed, not feeling especially threatened by those that had shown themselves, especially not the younger boy.

As the young child of Takiyasha gushed, his fellow Frog laughed, and he gave the boy an overly deep bow, bending at the ankles until his nose almost touched the ground in an impossible display of flexibility. "An honor tae be noticed by a young frog prince!" He straightened and laughed again, right about the time the crown would start working its magic towards anyone whose gaze happened to be transfixed on the bejeweled headpiece.

"It's a wee bit spooky out'n'about tae be crawlin' around by yerselves, isnae?" He looked around, his gaze transfixed off in the distance, where the older looking man and his entourage would stay. "Suppose I cannae talk too much, aye? But yer both a bit far from home, methinks! Dinnae tell me yer great and mighty assassins I've got tae fend off, eh?"

The Victor of Fur Country: On The Hunt For The White Stag
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Through the many competitions of Fur Country, Fuhen found victory again and again. Whether it be hunting, dueling, or any number of tasks, nobody in his bracket could match him. This is due in large part to his experience in all manners of things martial, but also thanks to his extraordinary senses. All five of his senses have been highly tuned through years of practice and dedication, and while none of them are necessarily more sensitive, even the slightest bit of change from another slight bit of change can be read and interpreted in a split second. This first jutsu in the series makes his nose is good enough to be able to track someone by scent better than a bloodhound up to five miles away, and notice any sudden changes in scents easily. With the two senses so strongly interconnected, this also effects his sense of taste, allowing him to detect differences in blood or soil samples, or taste even otherwise tasteless poisons in his food.

The Victor of Fur Country: First Round of The Tournament
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
This second jutsu in the series makes him an excellent visual tracker, able to control his eyes independently to better follow multiple moving targets, or noticing even the slightest changes in the scenery, whether it be the way dust particles move around in the wind, or the slightest breeze barely nudging grass. This effect can go outwards up to two miles, with his regular vision still being effective past that.

The Victor of Fur Country: Semifinals of The Tournament
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
This third jutsu in the series makes him an excellent auditory conduit. Able to hear the slightest pitch changes in someone's voice, the whistle of an arrow over a mile away, or make out a distinct conversation even in the din of a workshop or busy market from up to 100m away.

The Victor of Fur Country: The Finals!
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
This final jutsu in the series gives Fuhen an ultimate sense of touch on all things. His sense of touch is so great that he can even feel vibrations on the ground of people moving nearby, even in thick snow like that present in Fur. This vibration sense has a 50m range, and while he can't tell exactly what each vibration is caused by unless he's felt them before, he can get a distinct impression on the number, weight, and size of objects and people within range.

Despite being full of limitless potential and filled with vigor, Fuhen appears as nothing more than your average man in all aspects. This 'technique' implies that nothing about Fuhen's body language portrays that he is a trained/experienced killer, and everything from the way he walks to how his chakra appears to casual observers reinforces the idea that he is, if anything, clumsy and likely incapable of fighting. This is most useful in passing himself off as nothing special, putting most into a false sense of security, though with minimal effort Fuhen can break out of this technique to reveal his true self.

'Mist?' A tall, broad shouldered figured walked through the tree line, avoiding any of the major roadways as he moved with little sound through years of experience as a shinobi. It was almost like the man was a part of the elements as he moved effortlessly through the obscured area, his sound and even his smell wasn't human. His golden eyes looked out from beneath a hooded cloak that draped down to about the middle of where his eyes were giving a natural shadow over the upper portion of the man's scarred face. The only truly noticeable feature being the scar across his lower jawline that sported a rugged looking red-haired beard upon it. While this shinobi was very familiar with the mist, the conditions that would normally be needed for the natural creation of fog were not present and it was nearly the middle of the day...such fog should have long been burnt off by the rays of sunlight that fought their way through the scattered canopy of leaves above his head.

As he was about to question the strange mist voices could be heard a short distance away, shifting his focus he quietly and slowly walked in the direction as he caught the name of a man he was looking to find venturing out to this newly established country and village. That being the frog like man by the name of Iyashii Fuhen. Kasai had just started to break the edge of the fog when his gloved hands lifted from beneath the cloak and started to slowly clap causing the sound to echo from the fog into the open clearing, stopping a few steps before he had fully exposed himself causing for his massive frame to look like a large shadow in the mist. His glowing yellow eyes pierced out from the shadow concealing his face as the clap slowly came to a stop and a deadly whisper leaked out of the man's scared lips that was filled with killing intent as though the grim reaper had come to claim the souls of each and every one within ear shot despite its whisper like tone that spread out through the clearing and surrounding mist as if empowered by something supernatural. "Are you really, Iyashii Fuhen?"

While waiting for the sword carrying figure to reply to his question, the seven-foot-tall figure pushed forward as the mist swirled around his large form giving an ominous feeling to those that saw him. At first glance the man did not appear to be someone you wanted to get involved with and most likely the only one who might know the old man's true identity was probably only the Frog man. Kasai himself had not left the borders of Water country since the conclusion of the great War, but he was out on more of a personal mission that involved him having to recently dispatch one of his own former bannin. Through his information gathering network he had discovered the number of acquaintances that Aimi had throughout the world who had helped him in one way, or another deny the will of Kirigakure.

This was something that Kasai would not stand for and had come to raze each of them and their so called 'villages' to the ground personally. No one would defy him or the will of his village...inside the normal looking body of the old man raiton and katon intertwined as his multi-elemental body itched to be unleashed. The young ones nearby he gave no heed to, either they would run away or be crushed in the battle to come, the man had killed enough people to build a mountain of corpses that could fuel a river of blood over his long existence through two great wars and several conflicts. What was a little more blood on his black soul?

Chiaki moved to grab the child that came out and helped her with her things and tossed him ahead of her, she made a rapid set of hand seals and a barrier erupted around her as she pushed and prodded the youth. "Get out of here-cha. Things are about to get really really hairy-cha." Chiaki looked behind her and then tried to pick something at the absolute edge of her range for substitution and substituted out, before booking it in a mad dash away from the two. She was headed uphill and the fog lay below her in a ring around the two individuals. Finally, when she was about 750 meters away, where she thought she would be safe, she sat down and found that her body was covered in a cold wet substance, sweat? Fog? She didn't care, she hugged her legs to her chest and stared at the clearing, where she could see very small dots where the two ninja were, surrounded by other small dots of the statues, and hoped, prayed, that the youth had taken her warning and made it out of there.

She was frozen to the spot, enraptured by the swelling powers below her.

Kinomichi had found himself in this country by accident; he had taken a right instead of a left while trying to return home from a mission. Now, bundled in a thick cloak with his gunbai secured on his back he heard voices coming from off of the trail and through the fog. Deciding to take a peak, the young special jounin took a few steps off the trail and discovered a decent sized clearing filled with none other than Kasai, the Mizukage. It was easy to identify him but the other man he was unsure of. Continuing to keep his presence on the down low, Michi stayed and peaked out from behind the tree he had taken as cover while activating his Tsuyoi Shōgō-zumi as the two gigantic men stared each other down.

Kozue only noticed the crown as Fuhen spoke of feeling like a princess. The boy laughed heartily, the sound reminiscent of croaking as his frog traits made themselves more apparent. He felt comfortable around his kin and was glad to have finally found his destination and to have a chance to meet the legend. He was just as friendly and humble as he expected, and he hoped he could stay in this land for a few weeks before continuing his journey. His goal was to travel to every country in the world and make at least one friend in each new land he visited. He had no real ambitions beyond that, simply the call of adventure. ‘This issa man worth followin’, I shoulda left with the others’ he thought as he looked upon the man. When so many had left River with Fuhen to these new lands, Kozue had stayed, living in the swamps and fending for himself until he found a traveling warrior to train with. He had never embraced those that called themselves Titans, but he felt no ill will toward them neither.

But when he heard Fuhen had returned and demanded River’s independence once more, he knew he had to come find the man and see what kind of person he was. With his people filled with hope once again and his homeland feeling safe from foreign occupation, Kozue felt comfortable traveling the world. Following in Fuhen’s footsteps in some sense, but he didn’t have any desire at liberating nations or fighting wars, only adventure and friendship and clinging to some sense of peace and goodness in the world despite the shifting borders and bitter feelings. It was a naïve goal to try to transcend all that hatred but he figured it was worth a shot and as someone with no shinobi training or involvement in any battles, who would see him as a threat to be hostile toward?

The young frog-boy considered Fuhen’s words. Spooky? He didn’t really think so. Compared to living alone in the swamps of river country, the fog and haunting sounds of all manner of creatures, it was rather peaceful to be surrounded by relative silence and a comforting blanket of fog. “This inn’it nothin’. I’ll be travellin’ the whole world, cannae be scared of some fog. Came ta find ya first though. Yer a hero of River, was hopin’ I could learn from you before I set off” he said honestly, bright-eyed as he hoped the man might be able to teach him some taijutsu and give him some life lessons before he embarked on his own adventure. Hopefully eventually there paths would cross again and they could share a meal back home in River country.

However, it seemed there would be little time for mentorship as soon an ominous presence approached. Kozue had never met a person that carried such bloodlust, though he was still young and naïve enough to have never felt true fear or near-death experiences. “Friend of yours?” he wondered innocently, quirking his head, before the woman next to him started trying to shove him away. He was surprised how physically weak she was, the first shove jostled him but him gangly legs naturally bent and absorbed the impact of any subsequent pushes and despite his small size he didn’t budge an inch. He saw her form hand seals and was confused by what she was doing, he had never seen shinobi hand signs before. A barrier of lightning formed around her and then she vanished in a puff of smoke. “She’s gone! Neat trick” he bemused, though the fear in her voice had not gone unnoticed. If someone capable of such magics was that scared, then surely, he should retreat as well. Manipulating his saliva he gathered a large amount and make a circle with his mouth before turning and sending a barrage of bubbles toward the advancing man. The bubbles would move with 22 Strength and Speed and have an adhesive strength of 25 toward anything they came in contact with. At the very least he hoped it would help cover their retreat and make pursuing slightly more difficult. And with that he would begin leaping away at 15 speed in 30 meter bounds, heading toward the direction he saw the girl running off in.

Bubble Shower
B-rank Taijutsu Manuever
Forming an "O" shape with their mouths, and blowing out while pushing their spit with it, the clan member creates a spray of hundreds of bubbles that float through the air in the direction they're facing at a Speed and Strength equal to their [Strength+Endurance/2]. When these sticky bubbles pop on an object, they cover an approximate 3-inch radius circle each. The bubbles will pop on their own after 4 posts if left to their own devices.

Fuhen did not recognize the newest comer, either. It was an increasingly common occurrence where his fame betrayed him, despite his relatively normal appearance, it was hard to mistake a world leader who did not hide within a hidden village. All the same, his bloodlust was unmistakable, and while the two perhaps didn't know each other on a first name basis, as he looked at the man, he felt his soul reach out and grab onto the Mizukage's.

He felt, he heard, he saw. Children crying, flames burning, winds whipping, a frenzy of lightning and a hailstorm of water. What these things meant could be interpreted a hundred different ways, but the feeling the man gave off was not one of an ally, or someone seeking him out for the purpose of help, but rather a beast just released from its cage, on the prowl, hungry, with no inhibitions left.

He felt Kasai, and Kasai would feel him back. This was in the forefront of his mind, and as his warrior's spirit took over, background information trickled in. The incomprehensibly weak woman running, the young frog, impressively strong for his age, dispersed an attack as he sought to run as well. The elder frog maintained his composure. In his youth, perhaps he would have taken this all in as an immediate attack on his personage, and likely would have jumped right in to fighting this man before him, but his age and position had taught him to slow down.

"Scurry, children, the bogeyman is here..." He muttered under his breath, unlikely to be heard by anyone present, quoting a line from a play of his youth. He began to sweat. "Aye." He said, a friendly smile breaking across his face to the stranger, despite the turmoil threatening to boil free. He was on edge, ready to fight, but he did his best not to let it show. "Ye've got me at a disadvantage, ah'm afraid! Wits end the pleasure rolls? Och, careful o' the sudden burst o' bubbles, friend."

A vein popped on his forehead. He was storing tension, ready to unleash a kiai as soon as the mood changed, if necessary. He felt a wave of dread wash over the area. It wasn't just him this time.

Hard Work Style Forlorn Fighter
S-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Prerequisite: 40 Willpower
Upon entering this stance, Fuhen's sweat begins to dampen the air to a ridiculous degree, creating an incredible amount of humidity over the entire battlefield. For the next 3 posts he must remain within 200m, and he will maintain a defensive fighting style, only striking out at his opponent to intercept incoming blows, or keep the fight busy and test his opponents reactions. During these posts, he will focus almost exclusively on his opponent, learning everything from the way they move to the way they sweat and breath. At the end of the 3 posts, Fuhen will understand how they fight so well, that he can completely predict their moves, and even 'control' them by knowing how they'll react to his moves, for the following two posts, this allows Fuhen to more or less completely dominate his opponent, leaving them in a much worse position by the end of this stances effects. Being that this stance is partially understanding physical movements, and partially a mind game, an opponenet may avoid this if they have a higher Willpower than Fuhen.

His golden eyes locked with the younger man, his gloved hands reached up to remove the shadowy cloak hood to reveal his locks of crimson hair and his scarred face allowed to be graced finally by the sunlight that was threating to burn away the surrounding fog as he took a simple step forward revealing his full large form and face to Fuhen. The kids around them began to scatter, but it mattered little to the man as he eyed the young woman who put up a decent barrier armor of Raiton before fleeing, a smart move but he wasn't here to swat away little flies so for the mean time she'd be saft. The other strange kid, young in looks and actions spit bubbles at him? Kasai seemed to lean to his left fading from sight of all those but perhaps only the Frog man, not quite full speed but enough to trick the eyes of the little ones as he faded to the left not bothering to even raise a hand to the simple attack and letting it just pass by him. "It would seem I have frightened the children away..."

The death-like whisper spread out to his opponent, no true emotion in his words, just emptiness as he locked eyes with the man. An old warrior that he was, Kasai was able to feel the powerful warrior's soul that reached out to press against his own dark abyss. Just from the unseen exchange the man could feel that the famed roaming swordsman and the rumors behind him perhaps had some decent merit even without the pair exchanging any blows with one another yet. 'How interesting...' With everyone else besides the two men dispersed out of range of any immediate danger the man lifted his hands and seemed to reach down to the cuff of each glove, giving it a gentle tug as if to ensure that it was seated well on either hand despite them just being manifestations of what his body use to look like before he became this monster that he was right now. If the man was attempting to study the sound of his breathing their would be none, the only sound was the gentle movement of his cloak which was the only real article of clothing not made up from his elemental body. Even when he had moved earlier the sound of his feet touching the ground was so faint that only those with enhanced hearing would even notice.

"I can see what little Aimi-chan probably liked about you..." Finally, he spoke more about his reasoning for coming here to the Frog, no need to rush and attack, as he wanted not only Fuhen but those who were in the shadows to know what was coming for them. "But in the end his free spirit that cost him his life." A somewhat smug look crossed the man's bearded face as his head tilted slightly to the side allowing a few loose locks of raven hair to sway gently in front of his chiseled facial features now. Both corners of his mouth curling up in a faint smile now as he wanted to feel out the reaction of the man as the outline of chakra formed around his large build, chakra being channeled throughout his body as both arms swept out to either side as if gesturing to the man 'now what' in a seemingly arrogant expression.

There was dead air as Fuhen's brain processed what was being said. Aimi had indeed seemingly disappeared, the people of Gold Country didn't seem to know where he went, and while the Frog assumed his long-time friend had simply gone off on another adventure. The implications of the Mizukage's words were not lost on him. His training came in immediately. His hot head grew cold for a moment...

And reignited. A growl passed his lips, sounding eerily accurate to a tiger, not some mere parlor trick, but his very will was pushed behind it, and everyone in the clearing, or even slightly outside, would find their chakra not working as expected. Fuhen's own chakra, on the other hand would begin to whip about raucously, disturbing the mist as he entered his second form. In bursts of pink flowery chakra, his blades would spawn around him. "A free spirit does not go away." Was all he said, before the blades shot out after Kasai, wrapping around to the man's left, as Fuhen bolted off like lightning, Krag and Succubus appearing in his hands.

The forked attack would be timed so that the handful of blades, five, would reach him first, as Fuhen waited for the likely dodge attempt to leave an opening, before striking out with succubus if the man was in range. If he managed to outpace Fuhen, though, he would send Krag off flying free, igniting it if it had an opportunity to do damage.

Zantou • Effect Focus
B-Rank Kenjutsu Stance
Prerequisite: 15 Willpower
A technique requiring just as much mental focus as the ability to control one's body and a core technique of it's style, the user learns to plant their feet in unison while setting their shoulders and lifting their sword, drawing all of their thoughts away from anything but the opponent or target. This technique is meant to be complimented with drawn out breathing practice and meditation to create a state, temporarily, where the senses are narrowed towards a specific goal. This allows the user of the stance to ignore outside stimuli in a fight incredibly easily, focusing solely on the body movements of their opponent, aiding in predicting their moves based on muscle tensions. This also focuses the user to a point where things such as extreme heat or cold no longer bother them on a mental level, even while physically being burned or frozen.

A-Ranked Kenjutsu Manuever

Fuhen enters his second form, described as:

Fuhen may enter his second form at will. In addition to his chakra leaking out around him, his raw presence becomes immense, his sweat and blood begin to evaporate, actively raising the temperature around him several degrees, and increasing the humidity level. As his blood circulates more readily through his system, his skin becomes more red, conferring the following boosts on top of form one: +5 Endurance, +5 Chakra Pool - This totals them at +10 Endurance, +10 Chakra Pool.

Relevant: Do I get to start using the crown right away? I know we've said in the past that weapons can be used in claim threads, but in most cases you'd have no idea how to use them right away. Is the crown passive, or does Fuhen have to activate it somehow? It's not clearly written in the legendary weapons thread.

'A hidden dragon...' Kasai mused to himself, seeing the reaction from the man displayed that despite them striking the exact chord that the Mizukage wanted to hit with his dialect, meant that this stranger had spent a lot of time honing not only his body to fight but also his mind. Perhaps this man wasn't quite the push over he had assumed he would be having been a non-shinobi swordsman. With his chakra already prepped arches of lightning surrounded his body from head to toe now as it rushed into the ground pushing outwards in every direction. Forging a two-pronged attack himself the man finished hand seals as he and Fuhen closed as a current of lightning seeped from his feet into the very ground, spreading out in every direction.

The current flashed through the ground out to nearly a hundred-meter radius from the man's current position on the edge of the clearing with Fuhen, as Kasai attempted to give himself the elemental field bonus as the arching lightning on the ground spread out affecting any and all that were caught within the zone aside from himself. His hands started to form hand seals this time, not channeling, as his opponent seemed to spawn weapons from nowhere with strange cherry blossom like chakra that was actually quite beautiful in its effect. Even for Kasai who had level several decades and seen most every type of ninjutsu and chakra he had to admit that it was a first for him.

Swords soon came at him from the left side, seemingly being controlled through some invisible force as they flew with no visual aide that he assumed was projected somehow from Fuhen as he completed his own hand seals, though he couldn't help but feel like he wasn't quite able to use the full extent of his body. To someone so in tune with his own chakra with a peak level of control he was able to almost instantly notice that he was being affected by some unseen force. It wasn't enough to nullify his ability to mold chakra but it did slow his ability to mold at his normal speed. Was it something the weird swordsman was doing? Kasai had of course heard the tiger like growl that left the man's mouth as he launched forward with great vigor, but didn't have it linked with the cause as he'd never fought a kiai user.

As the swords flew in from the left bolts of lightning lashed out with near invisible speed and peerless strength from the man's body, attracted to each blade as though they were some kind of homing missiles that would knock them back as Kasai remained standing in the same spot as when Fuhen made his first move. At the same time lightning simultaneously struck out against both Fuhen and his two weapons that he wielded now, the spear and the sword, three bolts of lightning unconsciously lashing out from Kasai's lightning sparking body. The attack didn't differentiate between friend or foes, anyone within a hundred meters or so at his point would be struck at by the technique as well without any remorse or thought from its wielder.

To fight a swordsman, a ninjutsu user was usually at a disadvantage once that reached melee range and thus he attempted to derail the man's initial approach with one of the better defensive elements. How would the man deal with the dual lightning techniques affecting both the air and the ground?

*Raiton • Voltaic Zone (40 control = range increased by 90m)
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals, the user will seep Raiton chakra in an area around them with a 25m diameter. This will produce an electric current on the ground in this area visible as crackling lightning on the surface. Any other than the user who step into this zone will have the shocking effect applied and their legs will sustain [Control] Strength shocks. These current lasts 3 posts, while it ends immediately if the user leaves the area.

*Raiton • Thousand Birds Current (50 Control = range increased by 45m)
S-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Raiton • Thousand Birds
After performing the hand seals similar to that of the Thousand Birds technique, the user will begin to spark with various bolts of electricity. For up to 6 posts the user will be surrounded by crackling lightning, which will immediately lash out at any person or metallic object within 80 meters of them at [Control] speed. This will then strike with [Control] strength and apply third degree electrical burns to those it hits. The user cannot cast any other techniques while this technique is active.

A ninja, as expected. Samurai did not often make displays of chakra as Kasai had done with his taunt. The low growl continued, further attempting to disrupt the man's casting. His willpower held strong, though. This would not be an easy fight, and Fuhen could tell right away that the man would not be a pushover. His handseals were not recognizable, as it wasn't a skill Fuhen had cultivated, but he knew that anything that came from a Ninja would be considered dangerous. As soon as the seals started to form, Krag would flee his hand, controlled with his Shogun ability, adding a third prong to the strike, flying over top of him. Unlike most of Fuhen's weapons, Krag was made of hardwoods, not metal, making it the only thing unaffected by the lightning strikes.

The five swords coming in from his other side would all be struck by lightning, being deflected expertly by the automated lightning defense. If Fuhen wasn't in a rage, he likely would have complimented the technique. Unbeknownst to the Frog, the crown was feeding him the thoughts of Kasai, giving him the intents of the jutsu, but he didn't connect them immediately. The initial confusion would wane, eventually, but for now the information processing only felt as though he was interpreting the signs quickly, but not quickly enough to avoid all effects.

As a lightning bolt shot off at both him and Succubus, he trusted the sword's anti-chakra coating to slice through the lightning, while his now free hand would move impossibly fast, a buffer of air pressure building up before he slapped the bolt away, slamming into the ground... And of course, the ground lightning. As the earth was saturated in the stuff, Succubus would pull him up and off the ground, guiding his hand, drawing him ever closer.

Flying through the air with supreme skill, as if he was a bird rather than a frog, Kasai's defensive ploy would allow the Shogun to close the distance. He would strike out properly with the blade of Succubus now, aiming to cut off his chakra control completely with the blade, though if Kasai was clever enough to still leave himself a way out, the wooden spear would finally ignite, engulfing him in the powerful explosion from nearly point blank range.

Hard Work Style Artful Deflection
A-Rank Taijutsu Manuever
By moving any part of their body fast enough, the user builds up a significant buffer of air pressure, which surrounds that body part. This allows the user to touch and deflect, or reflect, fists, blades, or even ninjutsu so long as its strength is less than or equal to the user's [speed+strength/2], with nearly no damage to the user, even from passive effects.

Aerobatics
D-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Hefty bending exercises have lead the user to be able to contort, and otherwise control, their body while under abnormal situations. Namely being able to use momentum to better dodge mid-air, and allowing great feats of taijutsu that normally require ones feet planted firmly on the ground.

Zantou • Weather the Storm

Those truly proficient and trained in the art of Zantou know that the strongest warriors must continue their fight, outlasting even the mighty biting winds of Blizzard country. To ensure this war of attrition ends in favor of the Zantou swordsman, they learn this technique to ensure their opponents always, eventually, fall before they do. Those with [Speed] less than the users [Speed] will find it impossible to completely dodge all blows from the user, always coming away with at least small cuts every time the user moves their blade towards them. Each small cut is rarely enough to end someone's life on its own, but they all build up to throw the battle of attrition in favor of the Zantou swordsman.

Kasai paid no attention to the wooden weapon that was launched (spear?) upwards, his hands still holding a hand seal as moving his body didn't seem like an option due to the focus needed to maintain his techniques while being affected by the strange tiger's growl. The smirk never left the man's face as the opponent defended, revealing some impressive feats as the sword weapon seemed to be able to slice through chakra, at what cost he wondered though, either way it was an impressive item for sure. But what was even more impressive was most certainly the powerful tai-based technique that was able to deflect a blow from his 'Thousand Birds Current' who's sound drowned out the sound in every direction replacing it with the sound of a thousand birds chirping.

'There!' As the five blades were deflected and Fuhen deflected the other two, the man made his true move, activating his unique skill reserved for only the most powerful elemental ninjutsu users: Michishio - Heikaru, or what is referred to as Closed Flow Kinesis. The bolt that the man had slapped away turned a one eighty and snaked around attempting to snatch at the man's closest leg as he flew through the air, also controlling the five bolts of lightning that smacked away the five katana a moment earlier, one slashed upwards and out to intercept the spear while the other four rushed forward like living serpents attempting to envelop the man's limbs and weapons.

One from behind, from in front, not quite a pincer attack but with a man who was in the air it would be interesting to see just what this man was capable of when going all out as Kasai felt the man was still holding something back and he wouldn't rest until he had seen all of this man's full strength. Only then would he want to end this samurai's life. The glow of chakra around Kasai increased...the thirst of blood and battle rising in the old man for the first time since the Great War. Oh how he missed this feeling...a feeling that was being projected outward into the surrounded area from the old monster.

Manipulating the Thousand Birds Current

Dangerous. Probably the most dangerous opponent Fuhen had ever fought, he realized, as he performed his flying somersault slash through the air. He had only performed this next feat once before, when fighting Aimi for fun, but now? It was time to get serious. Something seemed to click inside of the Shogun, and lightning dramatically struck in the background of their fight, clouds forming overhead, darkening the already foggy area. The incredibly fast lightning that Kasai controlled felt like they were moving slower all of a sudden, and the Shogun let out a different kiai yelp this time, a short bark like an angry dog.

The kiai would do nothing to the lightning bolts coming to lock him away, but with his own increased speed and Kasai's being lowered, the Shogun decided to go all out. He let go of succubus as well, allowing it to continue its flight path, another blade would appear in his way, and he would expertly kick off of it, sending him at an angle towards the ground while somorsaulting across blades at Kasai, and at the same time, in a burst of pink, fourty more swords would appear in a sphere shape around the Mizukage.

Before Fuhen would impact the ground, and before the lightning bolt aiming towards the spear(!) Krag struck, the fires of freedom would ignite, creating a 40 strength shaped charge right down on the lightning bolt, and more importantly, the Mizukage's head. The lightning bolt headed for it would likely continue through, destroying the spear, but the explosion would continue to rattle through, its massive spearhead shape blasting the ground, and all of the swords would pincushion their way down, filling an impressive volume with sharp pointed objects that was sure to be difficult to avoid, especially while he was stuck concentrating on his Chidori...

Just in time for the Shogun to roll through. He accepted the burns that would come with rolling through Krag's explosion, burying the pain deep inside of himself as the blades rained down near him, using the fires of the explosion and the dust kicked up as cover to hide from the lightning bolts controlled with Kasai's kinesis, and using his bevy of swords to hang himself just inches off the ground at awkward angles, trying to avoid the current striking through the ground.

Of course, it wouldn't end just there, Fuhen's hyper-enhanced senses would be working overdrive, even through the kicked up fire and dust, locating Kasai with a precision only possible to a taijutsu expert of Fuhen's level. He would continue to crawl over his swords at all sorts of strange angles, while his blades continued to strike an absolute onslaught on the man, pulling himself ever closer, while maintaining a defensive stance to leap out of the way of any surprises the man had in store, even if the battle pressure of effectively fighting a dozen men at once should keep him pinned and unable to perform at his best. Succubus especially would be aiming for even the slightest of knicks, desperate to turn off his chakra usage and close the fight out. The longer this went on, the more likely the Mizukage was to pull out something truly unexpected.

It was a shame Fuhen couldn't read his mind or anything.

Fuhen enters his third form, turning his speed to 55, further defined by: Fuhen may enter his third form at will. In addition to previous effects, his presence is so immense that untrained fighters may simply faint immediately from the sudden change in pressure. Likewise, this changes even atmospheric pressure, and even in once-clear skies, wind will begin to whip about raucously, and clouds will quickly form, causing rain, thunder, and lightning to begin almost immediately. His chakra will no longer whip around recklessly, gathering up around him to resemble an armored samurai over 50m tall. The visualization of the samurai disappears after the post limit for breaking the 50 stat cap times out. This confers the following boost on top of his form two: +5 Speed - This totals them at +10 Endurance, +10 Chakra Pool, +5 Speed.

Zantou • Pups Yipping
B-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Must be under the effects of Zantou • Effect Focus
A more advanced form of pushing one's will onto their opponents, Zantou • Pups Yipping pushes disadvantage onto targets. By letting out their mighty kiai yelp, the Zantou user puts any foes within [Willpower+Strength]/2 in meters under the negative effects of Zantou • Effect Focus, giving them tunnel vision towards the user, narrowing their focus, and making them act with more reckless abandon towards the user. This also offers a debuff of -6 Speed towards the targets. Effectively acting as a taunt, the targets Willpower must be greater than the users Willpower in order to resist the effects. This effect may be maintained as long as the user continues their kiai at least once every two posts, but otherwise lasts a total of two posts.

Zantou • Flowing Cut
D-Rank Kenjutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: Zantou • Effect Focus
A simple sword technique, this allows the user to alter the direction of their blade mid-cut. This can be used to work around a block, or simply to act as a powerful feint and strike all in the same motion without stopping. Either way, this makes the user incredibly unpredictable in a fight.

Zantou • Planting Cut
D-Rank Kenjutsu Manuever
Prerequisite: Zantou • Effect Focus, Zantou • Flowing Cut
Before or during any slash the user performs they immediately grip the back of their hilt and execute a frontal thrust with a twist to the handle, angling it downward so that it pierces through the target downward; Once it has, it lodges the blade into the ground, pinning the target unless they can break free of the blade which, depending on placement of the blade, is difficult. This is often used as a lead up to an execution move, but is rarely deadly by itself.

The Clumsy Tumbler
A-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Despite his clearly supernatural physical abilities, Fuhen was not always so. As a child his long, gangly limbs and gigantic body made him quite awkward and clumsy, and as such he suffered many falls. Now a man, used to his body, and also used to the concept of falling, he has become preternaturally adept at all manners of tumbling, and also picking himself back up when a tumble simply isn't possible. This means that even if thrown with excessive force beyond that of terminal velocity, he is able to turn it into a roll and correct himself to minimize damage, so long as he has momentum and isn't simply thrown straight into the ground. Just as well, should a fall be inevitable, kipping up has become second nature.

The Master Entertainer and Master Swordsman
A-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
One of the many ways Fuhen makes money during his travels is by being a performer, when mercenary work is low, or he doesn't have time to accept such contracts. He is considered excellent at this due to his outward personality, his interesting speech mannerisms that make people feel more comfortable around him, or laugh, or both, and of course, his ability to perform inhuman feats with his body. He is what most would classically call 'double jointed', able to turn his head around nearly 180 degrees, bend over backwards to essentially fold himself in half, or do the same with other joints that aren't meant to do as such, the elbows or knees, or thanks to his strength and flexibility combined, perform such feats as leaning so far forwards that his nose touches the ground without his feet leaving their spot.

Who is Often Surprised, But Never Unprepared
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Many times in his samurai career, Fuhen has been caught unawares. Whether it be from animals curious to why he is in their territory, assassins sent by those he has fought in the past, or any number of things, Fuhen has become used to fighting in even the strangest of situations. This means that Fuhen knows how to fight from just about any position, whether it be moving through the air, laying on his back or stomach, or entrenched in small tunnels with hardly any room to swing a fist.

The Victor of Fur Country: On The Hunt For The White Stag
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Through the many competitions of Fur Country, Fuhen found victory again and again. Whether it be hunting, dueling, or any number of tasks, nobody in his bracket could match him. This is due in large part to his experience in all manners of things martial, but also thanks to his extraordinary senses. All five of his senses have been highly tuned through years of practice and dedication, and while none of them are necessarily more sensitive, even the slightest bit of change from another slight bit of change can be read and interpreted in a split second. This first jutsu in the series makes his nose is good enough to be able to track someone by scent better than a bloodhound up to five miles away, and notice any sudden changes in scents easily. With the two senses so strongly interconnected, this also effects his sense of taste, allowing him to detect differences in blood or soil samples, or taste even otherwise tasteless poisons in his food.

The Victor of Fur Country: First Round of The Tournament
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
This second jutsu in the series makes him an excellent visual tracker, able to control his eyes independently to better follow multiple moving targets, or noticing even the slightest changes in the scenery, whether it be the way dust particles move around in the wind, or the slightest breeze barely nudging grass. This effect can go outwards up to two miles, with his regular vision still being effective past that.

The Victor of Fur Country: Semifinals of The Tournament
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
This third jutsu in the series makes him an excellent auditory conduit. Able to hear the slightest pitch changes in someone's voice, the whistle of an arrow over a mile away, or make out a distinct conversation even in the din of a workshop or busy market from up to 100m away.

The Victor of Fur Country: The Finals!
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
This final jutsu in the series gives Fuhen an ultimate sense of touch on all things. His sense of touch is so great that he can even feel vibrations on the ground of people moving nearby, even in thick snow like that present in Fur. This vibration sense has a 50m range, and while he can't tell exactly what each vibration is caused by unless he's felt them before, he can get a distinct impression on the number, weight, and size of objects and people within range.

Who Fights by Heart Alone
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: The Victor of Fur Country, Who is Often Surprised, But Never Unprepared
Whether it be blinded by rage, blinded by bright lights, deaf by loud noises, or any other such things, Fuhen has always found ways out of the situation. The rumors say he does it, fighting with only his heart, but the truth is that because his senses are so highly tuned, that as long as one of his 5 senses are available (or six, should the need arise), that he can continue fighting with as much skill, speed, and precision as ever. Even the otherwise minor sense of taste can be fully utilized to fight opponents, a truly impossible feat that nobody would believe, and as such, fighting with his heart is a much easier answer.

All the man's swords would appear, Kasai noticing that even with his well-trained vision the man's speed began to blur even to his own eye. Had he ever fought someone who could pull out of focus his vision on such a manner? How impressive. But like any good shinobi who loved to attack one also needed to be ready to defend himself and know when to retreat. The lightning that had been chasing Fuhen's movement suddenly retracted as though all control over it had been lost for one reason or another as the man instantly molded his rapidly circulating chakra for a new purpose. As the spear from above erupted an arrowhead flash of fire that rained down on all the swords, including the unique one launched at his chest from the man's hand (maybe destroying it in the process?), the Reaper made his own strategic move having drawn the man all the way over to him on the edge of the clearing.

'I need some space...' The flames and swords poured down as he used the basic, but effective, Change of Body Stance technique (20 chakra for longer range) to swap himself out with one of the eroded statues that surrounded the one the Frog man had acquired his current head ornament from. Kasai's cloak was left as he shifted places and the stone statue that was slightly smaller than his own large flame was decimated into small rocks from its original form by the multitude of attacks. As Kasai appeared in the place of the statue, he twisted his body leaping backwards, drawing upon the elemental energy of nature as he created space from the already fifty-meter range different.

The man figured the explosion from the spear would help cover his own presence for a few moments, which would be all that he'd need as his own elemental core rotated with increased power (control buffed to 55}. As he left the ground the man's hands began to flash into hand seals now as chakra started to form in his chest causing it to swell outwards sightly as it was released into the air around him, the man's own body twisting in midair to face the area which had just been blasted by Fuhen. He was near the edge of his own lightning field as the old man manifested a massive torrent of water before him, summoning a Tsunami sized wave that was sent rolling across the ground of the clearing and beyond as the clearing and surrounding tree line was consumed by the enveloping mass of water.

The near hundred meter wide and tall wave would push forward attempting to swallow up the young man and everything in between Kasai and the man, sweeping away the clearing and its statues as it moved across the land (55 speed and strength). But the attack itself, while dangerous to, wasn't the only threat as it rolled across the ground it would also conduct the electricity that was still within the ground itself from his previous technique, in turn electrifying the wave of water for a rather nasty surprise...

S-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user creates water from thin air and forms so much that it creates a massive tsunami of water 80 meters wide and 80 meters tall. The wave will flow forward at a speed and strength of [Control], crashing into and destroying everything in it's path for up to eighty meters before running out of power.

As the Shogun's prey escaped, he extended out his senses, scanning for Kasai, giving the man just enough time to unleash his Tsunami. In the denseness of the fog, he almost didn't see the monstrous wave forming, and when it finally breached his senses, his eyes widened in shock, staring up at it from on high. He didn't hesitate though, and used a platform of his blades to kick off, running directly away from the wave as he recalled all of them at once to save them from destruction. Being they were so close, the wave was right on his heels, and it was coming at him at his own pace of far-too-fast.

Finally, Fuhen's feet would touch solid ground just outside of the range of his clever Raiton ground effect, and rapidly his body would start to change shape and form, his River King technique taking over his body as he channeled the aspect of Murasaki. He briefly made mental notes of his surroundings, before diving into the earth and reversing direction, swimming in the ground underneath the tsunami in order to avoid it!

Under the ground, Fuhen would work his way back to where he had sensed Kasai just before diving under the ground, practically undetectable under the earth as he was, and using Murasaki's vibration sense to pick up if he moved anywhere else during this time. Given the fog and the wave were blocking his view of Fuhen, unless he had some extra sensory perception, it was unlikely he would detect the frog's movements, or even know that he went underground.

Once he made it to the rough location of Kasai, the Frog would launch his surprise attack. All at once, Fuhen would leap out of the ground, somersaulting while spitting off a dozen globs of his sticky spit, and at the same time three groups of weapons would appear, five more swords appearing as a group to fly towards the man from his front, the paired swords of Ichor would fly towards him from one side, and succubus would fly towards him from behind, giving him practically no avenues for escape without some kind of further ninja trickery.

If these strikes failed to kill, pin, or succubus failed to at least nick him to shut down his chakra, Fuhen would land back on his feat, several more swords appearing around him to juggle, giving Kasai no breath to perform any handseals given that he popped out so close, performing his all out assault.

River King Style • Nature of the Beast
B-rank Taijutsu Stance
Unleashing the dormant genes of a broad range of frog and toad species, Fuhen will crouch down on all fours, and let out a mighty croak. As he does so, his throat will bulge out like that of a frog or toad, and his skin will begin to take on a darker appearance, shifting from its usual pale state to that of a green. Dark freckles will also appear all over his body, generally giving him a much more frog like appearance. Primarily a technique used when the more traditional hit and run tactics of the Mugen Ittoryu technique don't seem to be working, this particular maneuver has the user standing relatively still aside from the obvious advances, the user will keep up an assault with their main hands, juggling the swords back and forth, and picking up more as they go (or from their sheath) with the ultimate goal to keep the enemy on the defensive. Provided the enemy is sufficiently distracted, one of the blades will find its way wielded on the inside of one of the users knees, wherein they will turn their entire body to aim the blade towards the opponents lower body. This sudden and powerful strike can be incredibly debilitating if it lands, often slicing clean through the large femoral artery, or destroying the opponents knee.

As the wall of water swept across the ground the man actual formed hand seals, looking to back up his suiton wave with a secondary technique, but he was weary of his chakra consumption that was being rapidly drained by the initial techniques. This was especially true as he expected for the man to either smash through or use his speed to outrun the wave in all honest. But it had just been a distance creator so he could focus on a truly destructive technique, dipping into his other elemental masteries to unleash his next technique. If unable to deal with the strange Frog man after this one even Kasai might be forced to retreat before he expended to much of his chakra fighting this man alone. 'Time to finish this foolish game!'

In his empowered elemental form the chakra visible affected the very spacetime causing faint cracks to form in it as he inhaled one more now, as Fuhen was transformed into a strange frog form and burrowing under the earth towards Kasai's position by this point the man unleashed a blast of chakra infused air out in a breath...a technique named for its God-like power, the 'Breath of a God'. This was a technique he had used to decimate tens of shinobi at a time in the Great War, but this was the first time Kasai had every felt the need to bring out such a technique for a single man. This was truly a testament to how strong the man was and now he would be face to face with the churning windstorm that expanded out from Kasai's position nearly a hundred and twenty meters roughly.

But what made this technique so dangerous was that it didn't just sweep over an area once, no. This created a powerful windstorm that persisted to continuously slice and destroy whatever was caught within it. The only question was would the little frog find himself trapped in such a dangerous storm today? At this point Kasai truly didn't have any method to pinpoint the man but instead went with the assumption that the powerful samurai had a technique to either circumvent the water wave or the pure strength to break through it. He hadn't expected a samurai to be able to dig through the earth in such a manner after all.

After channeling chakra into their mouth, the user will release a massive gust of slicing winds in the form of a massive wall of wind one hundred ten meters wide and a hundred and ten meters tall. The slicing winds sweep across the ground digging twenty meters into the earth as they move forwards at a speed and strength of [Control]. These winds swept across slicing and grinding everything before them caught in the path of the expanding wind storm for one hundred meters continuously assaulting anything within its area for three posts.

As the ground started to become disturbed, Fuhen immediately began to swim down deeper into the earth. Unfortunately, he was taken quite by surprise, having not expected the ground to turn against him like this. As he swam down further, the tail end of Kasai's fuuton technique would catch his legs still, leaving several deep cuts, taking out chunks of flesh. The Frog bit into the inside of his cheek to avoid screaming, so he could continue to hold his breath, and careful not to alert Kasai of his presence underground.

Limping forwards for half a second, his chakra would coalesce around the wound, healing it thanks to his Shogun ability, and allowing him to continue back at full tilt. While this would slow his initial plans down, the actions would remain the same, only spurned on by the fact that Kasai was likely to be cocky, assuming he was obliterated by his impressive double cast.

Once he made it to the rough location of Kasai, the Frog would launch his surprise attack. All at once, Fuhen would leap out of the ground, somersaulting while spitting off a dozen globs of his sticky spit, and at the same time three groups of weapons would appear, five more swords appearing as a group to fly towards the man from his front, the paired swords of Ichor would fly towards him from one side, and succubus would fly towards him from behind, giving him practically no avenues for escape without some kind of further ninja trickery.

If these strikes failed to kill, pin, or succubus failed to at least nick him to shut down his chakra, Fuhen would land back on his feat, several more swords appearing around him to juggle, giving Kasai no breath to perform any handseals given that he popped out so close, performing his all out assault.

Unleashing the dormant genes of a broad range of frog and toad species, Fuhen will crouch down on all fours, and let out a mighty croak. As he does so, his throat will bulge out like that of a frog or toad, and his skin will begin to take on a darker appearance, shifting from its usual pale state to that of a green. Dark freckles will also appear all over his body, generally giving him a much more frog like appearance. Kasai watched as the wind storm swept forward with a smile, assuming the man had either ran away or fled at this point he formed a hand seal as the wind storm that was only a few meters in front of him began moving as a whole backwards as it swept around him but to the surprise of anyone watching the man was not sliced apart by the blade of visible wind that cleared the nearby forest and churned the hard earth into almost a sand consistency. Once again, the man was using his Closed Kinesis to finely control the winds that started to lift him up into the air like some sort of wind tornado. Having used around half of his chakra pool in such a short span of time the Mizukage was preparing his exit as the swirling winds continued to push back past him as he was moving himself into the center of the storm as he ascended higher into the air. But even if he hadn't killed the strange samurai, he had learned enough that he could better plan against such a fighter in the future and seen some of the man's own personal abilities.

Fuhen burst from the ground, his bottoms having been turned into shorts by the altercation underground, immediately materializing a blade underneath him to act as a carriage through the air. He looked up at Kasai and yelled. He did not know the man's name, and the man did not deserve the recognition. The rage that festered inside of him finally boiled over, and he shouted so loud that denizens of New Tea likely could hear it all the way in the capital.
"AIMI!" The world began to heat up, and his sweat evaporated off of his body almost immediately as his anger released into the atmosphere. He couldn't attack the man directly, but if he wanted to play keep away by hiding behind buffets of wind, Fuhen would ready himself to dodge and deflect anything that came his way, while giving the man a torturous death under the heated gaze of the Shogun. He would not be allowed to escape any time soon.

By moving any part of their body fast enough, the user builds up a significant buffer of air pressure, which surrounds that body part. This allows the user to touch and deflect, or reflect, fists, blades, or even ninjutsu so long as its strength is less than or equal to the user's [speed+strength/2], with nearly no damage to the user, even from passive effects.

Upon entering this stance, Fuhen's sweat begins to dampen the air to an unheard-of degree, making the air 200m around him nearly 100% humidity. This also naturally increases the ambient temperature as well, his body hot enough to cause second-degree burns on contact. The main purpose of this jutsu is that it makes the evaporation of sweat impossible around Fuhen, making even the strongest warriors overheat and eventually pass out. The true effect is -8 endurance to everyone in his 200 area, per post, for up to 6 posts.

Maido, Hisayo, Kayoko, and Substiwolf sneezed in Waterfall Country and thought of Kasai and frogs collectively all at once and none of them were quite sure why.

"So, you didn't die, kek..." A whisper from the Death God flowed from the windstorm as the man broke from the earth and Kasai adjusted the windstorm to attempt to swarm over the man as it was about to run out of chakra soon and he'd need to readjust himself as he flew higher into the storm that surrounded him about fifty meters now staring down with his solemn golden eyes that watched the man. The faint echo of a malice filled laugher lingered through the whipping winds and the deadly blades that sundered anything that entered into their path leaving only a trail of utter destruction in the two mens wake.

Fuhen's technique was indeed an interesting flex, but there was something that perhaps the Frog man didn't know about Kasai as he barely even noticed the change created by the samurai who began to heat up the surrounding area. "My friend, is that all you have?" He spoke almost mockingly towards the strange samurai who helped establish the Heart village and had laid claims to River country. Extending his right arm out as the storm continued to chase after the target, he released the shell that housed his elemental body as the arm burst into flames surrounded with flickering lightly. "My body is much hotter than this measly heat your are creating. The human body is the true weakness of our race..."

Without a body that could overheat, due to it being made of pure flames itself from the Kage's own Katon chakra and intertwined with Raiton causing it to crackle with lightning, such a technique was truly useless against an elemental body. He would pursue the man in attempts to kill him quickly, before the energy that he had absorbed from the nature chakra around him was all used up. From what he could tell that he would only have a few more moves before it was gone.

Of course Fuhen didn't know, what kind of madman was made up of five elements and could delete parts of his body to push those elements out of them? Fuhen's own magnificent speed was on its last legs, but he would continue to play coy for now. Shutting down his heated motions, the Shogun did something he'd maybe done before in his life: snarled. "Yer nae but a coward with that fake body of yers!" He said, summoning Arakkoa into his hands, and pulling back the string as one of his standard arrows appeared in the proper place. He loosed it towards the man as he continued to fly around on his floating sword.

"If'n ye really think yer heat can outdo mine, get down here and let me embrace it!" He fired a volley of more arrows, two more standard arrows directly at him, before firing two of his 'Hunter' arrows straight up into the air which would immediately lock onto Kasai's chakra signature, attempting to strike at him from angles he might not have thought of covering with his kinesis winds. "For if'n my human body could touch yers fer even a moment, ye'd meet the grave."

"Haha, spoken like a true warrior!" The man's death like voice echoed down from nearly a hundred meters above the overturned earth as the windstorm around him began to disperse and the man's chest seemed to inflate before he exhaled to large streams of hot flames the cast a bright red glow down onto the ground below. These flames forged themselves into the shape of thick, study looking flaming sabers that were about fifty meters in length, the blades themselves were about fifteen meters in height and about six meters in thickness. He could feel his own elemental energy fading and thus he decided to embrace the warrior that was his opponent and push for a final clash as the strange man brandished his strange bow weapon from nowhere.

Using one of the blades almost like a surfboard, he stood on the flaming hilt of the left saber as both large flame based weapons were under his control as he made hand seals as they shot downward immediately, the blade on the right just ahead of the one that Kasai was standing upon as they pushed downward it slashed across intercepting some of the arrows as the 'hunter arrows' curved around behind the man but weren't able to catch the man moving at the same speed as them yet. (55 Control for this post). Using the front blade to sweep back and forth to clear the arrows shot directly at Kasai from the front, having turned it so that the thickness of the blade (width and depthness) to cover him.

Kasai controlled the left blade to a direct path as he wanted to meet the man for one final clash, the flaming sword plunged just under the sweeping right blade as though it had been thrust directly at Fuhen. If the man didn't move it would plow right into him with its unbelievably hot flames. "Let's just end this now!" The voice of death called out, only excitement in the man's bloodthirsty voice to his opponent who had called him out a moment prior...the end was truly close for one of the men.

After channeling chakra into their mouth the man will exhale roughly eight cubic meters worth of fire, being infused with his chakra through the Greater Pyro infusion, the man is able to cause the mass of fire to be shaped into the form of a massive pair of curved sabers. Each of the flame sabers measure thirty meters in length, eight meters at their widest point, and three meters in thickness being wielded by the user's Pyrokinesis at [Control] speed and strength. This sword infusion technique lasts for ten posts.

A manic grin would break out on Fuhen's face as the man answered his call to action. Kasai may have been a bastard, and Fuhen would never forgive the man for his implied transgressions, but there was a certain warrior's respect earned from heeding his words. Fuhen extended his bow to his left and fired two more hunter arrows, then to his right to fire two more, before Arakkoa disappeared into his soul once more, replaced by Succubus, and he jumped diagonally towards Kasai, shouting once more.
"FOR AIMI!" He felt his friend's soul, trapped. He knew then and there that the man truly was dead, and the Kaguya was watching from beyond the grave, a grudge he wouldn't let go being placed as a burden on the Shogun's shoulders. A fire raged in his eyes, brighter than the flaming scimitar that Kasai was wielding, and just as Succubus was destined to clash with the Flame God's Sabers... The Frog disappeared.

Having kept a careful eye on the first pair of hunter arrows he'd released, his manic grin was from the mistake Kasai made, not dealing with the problem at his back. He teleported to the signature gear faster than the blink of an eye, and another of his basic katana appeared behind him, giving him a platform to kick off of as five more blades appeared around him, circling him as he flew towards Kasai's back, intending to take the man by surprise from his sudden transportation!

Ten years ago, and Fuhen would have accepted that blade clash. He'd grown as a warrior.

The flaming saber that had sliced to the left batting away the initial blades would perhaps be the true deciding factor in this final clash, Kasai had never truly expected to deliver the killing blow with the thrusting blade and making a hand seal as his enemy shouted out the name of the fallen ex-Kiri bannin the man smiled. His plan was to use his elemental body to deal a truly double edged blow that would hopefully cut down the frogman once and for all at this point. When Fuhen leaped diagonally, just before using his unknown teleportation technique, the Kage had already set the finale into motion as the blade slashed back to the right and would have cleaved the man's body perhaps in two pieces if he had not disappeared from the man's line of site.

But Kasai made a single guess, that such a maneuver had only one target...his blind side. And thus he didn't stop traveling forward with his own thrusting blade that continued traveling forward and the sweeping blade curved at its own master without the slightest hint of slowing down or hesitation on the man's own part. Like a hot knife through butter, from just below his chest the man's lower body from abdomen down was cleaved away, almost as though it had been erased from existence by the still empowered blade.

The powerful flames of the blade left only the man's sternum and up left from his elemental body as it turned in mid air as it was being sliced to see behind him, its intact arms holding a single hand seal to maintain his control over the blades as though he felt nothing from losing nearly two thirds of his body in order to witness how Fuhen dealt with the power of the blade meant to reap the life from him. It seemed that this fight had truly came down to these last few moments to decide the victor and the loser. Even Kasai's partial body cleared the edge of the flaming blade it had already started creating a mixture of fire and lightning that started to rebuild his injured body.,

[OOC: Technique still retaining its empowered stats from creation as Closed Kinesis doesn't change a technique's stats like open kinesis does. Post 2/10 of sword technique]

Fuhen's eyes widened as Kasai turned his blades on himself in a self-sacrificing move to turn and kill the Shogun, and then they narrowed, focused, intent, one goal, one man, one fight. If the Mizukage insisted that the human body was a weakness, then a maneuver like this was likely what he meant. Maybe if he'd spent as much time mastering his own body as he did complaining about its weaknesses, he might have found that a bodies weakness was only limited by its user.

He decided in a flash that a sacrifice was necessary and as he continued to fly towards kasai, he covered his body in his Artful Deflection technique, kicking off of sword after sword to adjust his positioning, flying close to the sun as he rapidly beamed in to Kasai... Only for the blade to still hit him.

At the last moment, he spawned another blade beneath him, tackling the problem head on and jettisoning himself through the flat of the blade, his Artful Deflection would absorb a large portion of the injury, his Effect Focus would aid him in ignoring the pain and pushing through, kicking off yet another blade to close the final distance to the madman, making one decisive overhead strike with Succubus, attempting to cleave the remains of his body in twain.

If Kasai pulled any additional tricks, or if the burns from the blade would prove to be too severe to prevent his actions, his Shogun ability would naturally kick on, healing him through deadly injuries to allow him to continue his assault.

Prerequisite: 15 Willpower
A technique requiring just as much mental focus as the ability to control one's body and a core technique of it's style, the user learns to plant their feet in unison while setting their shoulders and lifting their sword, drawing all of their thoughts away from anything but the opponent or target. This technique is meant to be complimented with drawn out breathing practice and meditation to create a state, temporarily, where the senses are narrowed towards a specific goal. This allows the user of the stance to ignore outside stimuli in a fight incredibly easily, focusing solely on the body movements of their opponent, aiding in predicting their moves based on muscle tensions. This also focuses the user to a point where things such as extreme heat or cold no longer bother them on a mental level, even while physically being burned or frozen.

Who knew how powerful and truly resourceful the frog man was with his techniques and tactics, even surprising the remaining half of the Kage but his own sacrificial attack had only managed to slow down the previous assault of the swordsman by forcing him to alter his initial trajectory. But in a fight of there level seconds were sometimes the thing that drew the line between life and death. Kasai openly began to laugh as his flowing upper torso formed another hand seal and the sword he had been floating upon flipped upward and was used in a defensive manner as his body continued to quickly regenerate from his previous attack. "Hahaha..."

The sword hilt flashed up past the Reaper's face as the fifteen-meter-wide flat edge of the flame saber was used like a powerful, fiery wall that after flipping upwards pushed forwards directly at Fuhen. Though it was just the flat of the saber, the intense flames that made it up would likely spell death for those who found themselves colliding head on with it, especially in its empowered form. The original blade that had sliced the old man in half paused after completing its stroke as if awaiting commands from its master. This was because the man's own actions had temporarily closed off his view of everything of the other side of the wide saber blade to include the other blade.

He was using the blade as both an offensive and defensive tool in this instance as his own elemental body started to fall as he was no longer standing upon the swords he had used as a platform a few moments earlier, thus with nothing supporting him the man's body started to fall towards the charred and overturned earth below.

Time slowed, and the world was coming to an end. Kasai's flaming blades rocked the horizon with their heat, and Fuhen knew if he stood inside of it for any longer, his body would not recover.

With the Mizukage's blades no longer supporting him, as he began to fall, no longer able to run at massive speeds, the 6 hunter arrows would quickly find their mark, piercing him from multiple different angles, skewering his body that was already as close to mince-meat as a freak of nature could be.

Snapping his fingers, the Shogun's blades would all disappear, one popping up below, stabbed into the ground, and a bed of points appearing just below the falling mizukage. All at once, Fuhen's Shogun ability would activate once more, and he would be transported back to safety on the ground, and the bed of blades would rise up to meet Kasai, penetrating every square inch of his body, almost certain to destroy the core.

That is, unless the man had any final tricks up his sleeve, and Fuhen sure hoped he didn't, because his writer was running out of cool ways to describe lots of floating swords being tossed around.

The man's body fully reformed as the sword pushed away from him, but from each side of the wide blade of flames in the corners of his vision the falling Kage saw the strange arrows from earlier as they explicitly curved around the obstacles to continue to pursue their target, Kasai himself. Forming hand seals, the man pulled out the last of his chakra reserves as underneath his chakra shell that contained the swirling elements of his body to mainly Doton infused with katon and fuuton as the arrows closed, his hands seals continuing without regard for the approaching attacks.

The impact of the arrows barely penetrated the outer shell of the man as they slammed into the rocky body just underneath the false chakra appearance and all at once from the man's very elemental body, eight lengths of earth-based chains grew from the Kage's body. Four of these eight lengths of chains curled below the man forming a protective wall as the other four flashed downwards attempting to ensnare the frog man. Splitting his attention between them, one set attacking and one set defending.

The flaming blades from earlier remained almost seemingly stuck in time above the two men whose fight continued for at least a little while longer...

Doton • Chains of Imprisonment
S-Rank Ninjutsu
Requirement: 50 Control
A binding technique requires that the user be within 100 meters of the target. After forming the necessary seals up to 8 lengths of stone chain-links will blitz out of the ground at a speed and strength of [Control]. These chains are under the control of the user, and this prevents them from performing any other ninjutsu during its user. Aiming the chains to loop around arms, legs, waist and neck and even any weapons the target might be wielding. These chains can extend as long as eighty meters in order to ensnare the victim depending on their height and girth; typically this technique is used as a last resort in order to ensnare opponents with amazing physical abilities. Performing an additional hand seal will allow the user to cause deadly spikes to grow from the chains, fully impaling the target.

The man still had fight in him, the hunt had to continue. As the bed of blades and the chains clashed, Fuhen's froggy aspects would take over once more as he darted off trying to keep up and avoid, and in a flash his clothing would disappear, and so would he along with them. Now naked and invisible, he would have less trouble avoiding the grappling chains, and another large number of blades and arrows, along with Succubus, Ichor, and even the near-useless husk of Krag would spawn. Grabbing onto an innocuous arrow, the swarm would fly itself up and over top of him, attempting to pin him between the bed of blades he was fending off with chains.

The attacks would be coming from all angles now, with Fuhen himself once again wielding Succubus, his dueling blade, aiming to make a cut to end the monsters life.

B-rank Taijutsu Stance
Unleashing the dormant genes of a broad range of frog and toad species, Fuhen will crouch down on all fours, and let out a mighty croak. As he does so, his throat will bulge out like that of a frog or toad, and his skin will begin to take on a darker appearance, shifting from its usual pale state to that of a green. Dark freckles will also appear all over his body, generally giving him a much more frog like appearance. This stance alters some functions of Fuhen's body, offering the following effects: His tongue will be able to extend out to [Endurancex2] in meters, his saliva will be produced at a much more rapid rate allowing him to 'quickfire' his saliva, his ability to jump is doubled (stacking with natural Numakon jumping talents), and he gains the ability to function in the water just as well as he would on the ground. This stance is meant to maintained and stacked on top of other frog transformation stances. Maintaining this stance for more than 6 posts will start to tear Fuhen's body apart as he begins to lose control of the genetic manipulation, causing the equivalent of a moderate wound for every post after the sixth.

A-rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Channeling the genes of a glass frog, Fuhen's body and hair will quickly become more and more pale, before finally making him completely invisible. This of course does not effect weaponry or clothing, and as such requires him to strip and discard any objects in order to remain truly unseen. Just as well, while this effects his visibility, it does not make him harder to sense in any of the other 5 senses. This cannot be used at the same time as similar frog-transformation based maneuvers.

Zantou • Weather the Storm
S-Ranked Kenjutsu Discipline
Those truly proficient and trained in the art of Zantou know that the strongest warriors must continue their fight, outlasting even the mighty biting winds of Blizzard country. To ensure this war of attrition ends in favor of the Zantou swordsman, they learn this technique to ensure their opponents always, eventually, fall before they do. Those with [Speed] less than the users [Speed] will find it impossible to completely dodge all blows from the user, always coming away with at least small cuts every time the user moves their blade towards them. Each small cut is rarely enough to end someone's life on its own, but they all build up to throw the battle of attrition in favor of the Zantou swordsman.

For the moment, he was able to block off the bed of nails (swords) that attacked from below as the chains that each stretched over eighty meters in length criss crossed and swirled around underneath his body forming a semi-sphere like shape of doton that clashed against the sharp weapons under the control of the frog man. Though his lashing attack had just missed, the number of blades under the control of Fuhen enough to overwhelm them and knock them back as the culprit himself disappeared from sight.

Kasai could only shake his head as he shifted his gaze from left to right, scanning as more weapons spawned and flew up to attack him forcing the man to withdraw his four chains that had been seeking out the Heart Country leader and instead use them in a similar manner to the other chains which were to defend. These chains also swirled around the large man forming a complete sphere of earthen chains that with a hand seal formed massive spikes that expanded outwards from the chain formed dome of doton. This providing an additional passive defense against the coming attacks as the orb shot rapidly backwards from the last direction, he had seen the samurai before he faded from view...

While the frog likely could have waited the Kazekage out and played the battle of attrition, but that wasn't nearly fun enough and his writer wasn't going to sit on that concept forever.

Thankfully, Fuhen was long gone from his previous location, lofted up in the air by his weapons invisibly. They would fan out to cover as many angles as possible, and as the Kazekage flew down to where he was... The Shogun saw his chance. Hoisting one regular blade up, he would flip and kick off of it at impossible speeds, zooming down towards the earthen orb of chains protecting kasai. He couldn't penetrate through the earth so easily, but he could likely do decent damage to the man inside.

Unless Kasai moved erratically to avoid the invisible attack, Fuhen would do his best to land his feet between the spikes of the chains to minimize damage to himself, while causing an earthquake all through the chains, and hopefully their owner inside who also happened to be made of stone, hoping to shake him up and potentially even destroy his core with the shaking.

River King Style • Takiyasha-Hime's Mighty Leap
A-rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By lowering his stance, and making up to five mighty leaps of any distance in succession, each leap will disturb the ground in increasingly severe ways. Landing directly and straight on solid ground can cause a miniature, localized earthquake in a 5m circle around him, doubling in radius with each jump. Landing at an angle on solid ground will create a solid wall of dirt/rock to jet up at an angle, effectively acting as a barrier with strength equal to Fuhen's [Strength+Speed/2] in a 5x5m square, doubling in size with each jump. Lastly, any landings on non-solid ground will cause a large 'smokescreen' type effect, mostly determined by the exact ground he has landed on, in a 5m circle around him, doubling in radius with each jump. These barriers are errected at a speed equal to 3/4's Fuhen's strength.

The invisible frog couldn't be seen one way or another as Kasai had closed off even the sunlight from the outside of the orb as the chains wrapped tightly around one another, the large spikes continuing to grow throughout the eight lengths of chains at the moment as Kasai was contemplating what to do next as the blade could be felt impacting the doton orb that was hovering in the sky. Each series of attacks chipping away at the chains that made up the current prison of the Mizukage, but as he was flipping through the possible ideas to counterattack a powerful force impacted his protective shield from above without warning.

Fuhen's Frog leap placed a large dent in the orb but more importantly the orb was sent crashing down through the swords which had been attempting to encircle and attack him, careening as immense speed and power straight down into the scorthed and tilled earth from the Kage's own previous attacks. Boom! The orb impacted like a meteor falling out of space into the ground sending a powerful shockwave outward like a localized earthquake out several hundred meters in every direction now.

Plumbs of dust were thrown into the air as large pieces of rock and debris followed suit being thrown into the air before falling back as gravity took hold causing it to almost come down like rain in the nearby hundred-meter range. Kasai's orb had become broken open partially as he could see out the cracks in the orb but only perhaps ten meters due to the cloud of dust that filled the air. A strange, exhausted look filled the man's scarred face as he couldn't help but also smile. He hadn't been pushed this far in his entire shinobi life...his hands formed a single hand seal now as he continued to smile.

Progress! Unaware of what Kasai's plan was, Fuhen doubled down on his plan. As he bounded off of the orb and shoved it into the ground, he leapt high into the air again, only to kick off of another blade, landing back down again, and again, and again! Five mighty leaps in the name of Takiyasha-Hime, each one cracking the orb open more and more until the man inside would be exposed! Only for the hail of blades to continue to pierce through in as many places as possible, burying the man further and further into the earth with each leap.

The doujutsu empowered the strength of his jutsu even further, to a point where few could contest. His eyes watched the fight and the jutsu being cast before he flew through several hand seals as the Mizukage's tsunami was cast. A barrier of Katon chakra wrapped around his form and he held tight to the tree he was on as intense winds and then intense waves crashed over them and battered the area. Michi was lucky; the tree was extremely sturdy and held firm during the assault as the waves and water flooded the area. His Katon barrier had withstood the blow and he continued to stay where he was as the fight continued. The humidity in the area was intense but as they moved across the clearing away from him, he began to fly through hand seals once more as the earth shook around him and chunks of debris began to fall across the battlefield. If one of those hit him, his Shroud would finally break. He inhaled and his chest expanded considerably as he loosed a gigantic fireball from his position towards the Doton orb and jumping frog, the projectile aimed right where Fuhen was continuously stomping in a bid to hit them both when he came down once more. Michi repeated the action twice more; the first fireball was aimed at the apex of Fuhen's jump, the second directed at the mid way point. Either way, he was hitting someone and spicing this up a bit. Once the projectiles were all away, he jumped to one of the other trees to the left and changed his position in case someone tried to return fire while keeping his eyes on the outcome of his action.

Kinomichi will channel the needed chakra and begin materializing the ambient Katon chakra which flows from him naturally into a condensed 3-inch cloak of Katon chakra that sits above his clothing at [Control] Speed. The jutsu surrounds Kinomichi in a cloak of Katon chakra which looks as if he is encased in an aura of raging flames. The flames of the shroud are emitted outwards at [Control] Strength. The cloak lasts for 5 posts.
