Aimi and Fuhen had a lot of catching up to do. They'd spoken a lot, but words alone would never be enough to stress how much each of them had changed. They had done light sparring before and even then, it had been painfully obvious that Aimi had the upper hand, would the Frog be able to hold his own this time?

The area had been selected because it was to be the location of a new border town right on the edge of Wind Country, which meant it was several miles from the nearest population center, and if the pair ended up destroying the area, it would only make the job of the builders that much easier. It was lightly wooded with several small boulders dotting the area here and there, and a lone river ran through the center of their play area, carrying water down towards the coast.

"Awright, grandpa!" The Shogun teased, hopping over the river to stand on the other side from his rediscovered friend. "This is the place, d'ya wanna start, or are ye already worn out from the run up here, eh?" He laughed and entered a Strong Fist stance, still jarringly unarmed, in stark contrast to the basket of swords he used to carry on his back. "Just try not to take off any of my limbs, they don't come back so easy." Which wasn't technically true.
"It's so sad!" the reader said to the writer with a frown. "The character in my book just died!" The author turned to her and burst out into tears, "I know!" he said, "So did mine!"

Aimi had followed Fuhen to a more or less deserted spot to the north, the trip to the area something of a test for the Frog to see how well he kept up with the Kaguya as, by Aimi's reckoning, there had once been an immense gap between them in terms of physical strength. Fuhen had kept up the entire time, though, and even lead the way! It was fairly safe to say that in the seven years since Fuhen had seen Aimi, he had grown more. Physically, anyways.

As Fuhen hopped (ha) over the river and teased Aimi about removing some limbs, Aimi would smirk and shake his head. "Wasn't planning on it! Let's make this a bit more interesting!" he called out. Pushing out bone from his left shoulder, Aimi would stride over towards the trees that were near by before stopping some ten meters away from them before assuming, himself, a stance. Not an official one or anything, but what else could you call a man spreading his legs, bending his knees, bending at the waist and twisting his torso so that his left shoulder was upwards while his right arm reached across his chest and grabbed a hold of the bone protruding from his shoulder?

In a flash Aimi would make the first real demonstration his by withdrawing the meter long piece of sharpened bone from his shoulder and slashing horizontally in front of him while simultaneously jumping backwards a meter, ending with him standing up straight while a wave of cutting air travelled and grew from where he had slashed, passing through tree after tree until roughly six of them were felled. They toppled over each other like dominos shortly after being cut.

Aimi turned back to Fuhen and punctured the ground beside him with his impromptu sword, gesturing towards the fallen trees with his now free hand before once more raising his voice for the Grand Shogun to hear. "If I impress you more than you impress me, I get to take these trees back with me to Gold. If you impress me more, well then I've just helped you with some building material harvesting. Deal?"

[Iaido • Growing Dragon Strike]
S-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: S-Ranked [Iaido • Dragon Strike], 40 Speed
The user steps forward with the front leg while unsheathing the blade in a horizontal attacking motion across the body. So swift is this technique that it is akin to a "flash", being impossible to see unless the opponents' [Speed] is greater than or equal to the user's [Speed]. This slash creates a thin wave of nearly invisible air which cuts whatever it comes into contact with with 4/5 the user's Strength and travels up to a distance equal to the user's [Strength] in meters. Additionally, as this wave of air travels it increases in length by approximately 1 meter for every meter it travels up to a maximum length equal to the user's [Strength[ in meters.

Fuhen stared on as Aimi prepared himself, and finally let loose his blade so fast that even the Shogun's well-trained eyes could only just keep up. As the wind blade carved out its path in the trees, he let out a long, low whistle, watching as the wood toppled over dramatically mere seconds behind his projectile. An even bigger smile crept across his face. "Haw, not even willing to wager yer gold?" He teased, folding his arms for a moment and thinking. It was a competition, now, and clearly Aimi was holding back, where was the best place to start...?

He snapped his fingers suddenly, making a decision and crouching down on all fours. It was time to show his old friend what his brief time in the spirit world had earned him from Takiyasha-Hime. Activating his Nature of the Beast stance, he croaked and very slowly began a dramatic transformation into a beast right before Aimi's eyes. The wind from the croak itself caused whatever limited clothing Aimi chose to wear to flap about dramatically and stirred up a large amount of dust and debris as well. Aimi would have seen Fuhen's froggy traits in the past, but almost nobody had ever seen him do this.

Wasting no time, his began to shift and fleshy horns protruded from his forehead as he took on the aspect of Keiteki and leaped impossibly high into the air, hundreds of meters that would have him turn into a mere fleck against the sky. Just as quickly as he rose into the air, he controlled his descent to come crashing down like lightning amidst an area Aimi's blade hadn't touched, a powerful earthquake shaking the trees and stirring up the dirt, just enough to slowly topple them over, repeating the process a couple more times to take out a large swath of his own.

In the last landing, as the dirt cleared from the air, he brazenly picked up one of the trees, turning to face his companion with a grin so large it could have been a billboard, as he unhinged his jaw, wrapped his mouth around the trunk of the tree, and took a bite out of the log, leaving less than a quarter of the meter-thick tree left to act as a perfect implant of his bite mark, as he chewed, and swallowed it as if it were nothing. "Asides, the lads will more than likely complain that all the trees were damaged by being cut down improperly!"

River King Style • Nature of the Beast
B-rank Taijutsu Stance
Unleashing the dormant genes of a broad range of frog and toad species, Fuhen will crouch down on all fours, and let out a mighty croak. As he does so, his throat will bulge out like that of a frog or toad, and his skin will begin to take on a darker appearance, shifting from its usual pale state to that of a green. Dark freckles will also appear all over his body, generally giving him a much more frog like appearance. This stance alters some functions of Fuhen's body, offering the following effects: His tongue will be able to extend out to [Endurancex2] in meters, his saliva will be produced at a much more rapid rate allowing him to 'quickfire' his saliva, his ability to jump is doubled (stacking with natural Numakon jumping talents), and he gains the ability to function in the water just as well as he would on the ground. This stance is meant to maintained and stacked on top of other frog transformation stances. Maintaining this stance for more than 6 posts will start to tear Fuhen's body apart as he begins to lose control of the genetic manipulation, causing the equivalent of a moderate wound for every post after the sixth.

River King Style • Keiteki's Hearty Morsel
B-rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Channeling the genes of an ornate horned frog, two cartilage protrusions about two inches in length will sprout from his forehead like horns, and his entire body will seem to balloon up, making him wider and taller by a couple of inches. This maneuver allows Fuhen to unhinge his jaw to a ridiculous degree, granting him the ability to bite down and swallow anything his entire body's size or smaller. This also allows him to bite with his full strength, allowing him to bite down hard enough to bisect a human being, or worse. Lastly, this also greatly increases the rate at which his body digests food, as well as 'simplifying' his digestive tract, ensuring that small objects (kunai, etc) will be dissolved in half a post, medium objects (swords, shields, etc) will be dissolved in 1 post, and large objects (full sized humans) will be dissolved in 2 posts. This cannot be used at the same time as similar frog-transformation based maneuvers.

River King Style • Takiyasha-Hime's Mighty Leap
A-rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By lowering his stance, and making up to five mighty leaps of any distance in succession, each leap will disturb the ground in increasingly severe ways. Landing directly and straight on solid ground can cause a miniature, localized earthquake in a 5m circle around him, doubling in radius with each jump. Landing at an angle on solid ground will create a solid wall of dirt/rock to jet up at an angle, effectively acting as a barrier with strength equal to Fuhen's [Strength+Speed/2] in a 5x5m square, doubling in size with each jump. Lastly, any landings on non-solid ground will cause a large 'smokescreen' type effect, mostly determined by the exact ground he has landed on, in a 5m circle around him, doubling in radius with each jump. These barriers are errected at a speed equal to 3/4's Fuhen's strength.

Fuhen had made a good point. Aimi would have felt a bit foolish not offering up at least some of the name sake of his village up as collateral to match the trees! Truth was the Daimyo hadn't thought about it. "By all means," Aimi agreed, nodding his head. "One hundred pounds of gold ore to go up against these trees. How's that sound?" he asked the Grand Shogun. He watched what came next and frowned slightly. That was right - Fuhen had the ability to transform partially, taking on amphibian traits. He couldn't recall if the transformation had been so...extensive, though. He certainly didn't think it was if his gut was to be believed.

Truth be told he was mildly upset by the sight of his friend being transformed so. Was this because of his brief time in the spirit world? Had the spirits corrupted his being so? Had they done so with his consent? The golden Kaguya was certain that the frog had no issues with this transformation of his and so had no intention of, as of yet, letting his newfound hatred be known. Never the less, it was upsetting to see such a man as Fuhen give up part of his humanity for power.

Even impressive power such as this! Tilting his head back he followed Fuhen as best as he could as he leaped up into the air further and further. Aimi had to squint his eyes against the light of day just to keep an eye on the frog's speck. It inevitably became much easier to track him as he descended, though, and his resulting hops caused even more trees to topple over, evidently increasing his potential gain from this little competition of theirs! Much as he enjoyed that development, he couldn't help but lightly grimace as Fuhen took a literal chunk out of the tree he was picking up and ate it as if it were a bun! He dared not imagine the indigestion, but presumed that Fuhen's new form had some way to deal with it.

Picking his smile back up, though, Aimi placed his hands behind his back and grabbed a hold of his elbows, assuming a stance of his own as he strode over towards the frogified Shogun. "Two hundred pounds of gold. That tree doesn't count seeing as how you've decided to make it your lunch!" he joked. He'd come to a stop in front of Fuhen, smiling softly and looking the now green-skinned samurai over. His physical prowess had improved quite a bit in the seven years since they'd been on an adventure together. It was quite likely that Fuhen could take some punishment from Aimi himself and survive! Since that was the case, he could actually demonstrate a bit of his own prowess...!

"May I?" he asked, gesturing towards the munched-on tree with his head. Before waiting on an answer from Fuhen, Aimi would twist around on the spot and turn his back on the frog, bend over and hike his leg up backwards in a rising crescent kick, his heel colliding with the trunk of the tree with enough force to (assuming that Fuhen wasn't keeping some sort of strong grip on it!) send it cartwheeling skywards. Aimi would continue the kick into a full circle, his foot planting itself on the ground and his knees bending half way before he leaped up into the air after the tree!

What followed was a flurry of kicks delivered by Aimi wish such blistering force and speed that not only were chunks of wood sent flying off of the broken tree, those chunks would catch fire! A whole fan of flame would engulf the tree as Aimi kicked it repeatedly, twisting his body occasionally (for extra flair!) to deliver a swift roundhouse kick of fire! The result was that, from the ground below some twenty meters or so, Fuhen would be witness to a spectacle of taijutsu few had seen and survived, the Morning Peacock earning it's name as the bursts of flame coming off of the tree took on the appearance of a peacock's tail fanned out! The spectacle would end as Aimi flipped over and drove his heel into the burning trunk of the tree to send it crashing down towards the ground a few meters from where he and Fuhen had been standing, followed shortly after by Aimi landing deftly on his feet as the cloud of dust rose from the impact of the burning tree.

Turning towards Fuhen with a confident smile on his face, Aimi would ask the simple question, "Impressed?"

Unworthy
B-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
Some foes are worth going all out again, others are Unworthy. To assume this Stance, the user simple folds their arms behind their back, grabbing a hold of their dominant wrist with their less dominant hand. Using this Stance, the user is able to use any Taijutsu Maneuver that requires the use of the user's arms with their legs instead, within reason of course. Certain grapples and techniques are simply impossible to perform with the legs, as feet do not have the capabilities of grabbing things in such a way that hands do. But, with enough skill, most techniques can be performed with the legs as a substitute as a testament to the user's superior taijutsu prowess.

[Strong Fist Style • Morning Peacock]
A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 35 Strength and Speed
The user launches the opponent into the air with an upper kick to the chin or through other means and then leaps up after them. The user then strikes at the opponent with their fists, each strike being so fast that the speed and friction causes their fist to be set ablaze. The user punches the opponent repeatedly, creating a peacock-like fan of flames as each strike connects. These flames set the opponent on fire, burning with a strength equal to ¾ the users’ [Strength]. Once the user is finished, they will send their opponent crashing back to the ground, covered with the attacks' flames.

Fuhen had been gripping it tightly, but as Aimi's intention became clear, he threw it up for bat in order to avoid being launched into the stratosphere. As Aimi launched the log, the Frog looked on in interest as he saw the thing shatter and light on fire with the sheer raw intensity of Aimi's actions. However, such things weren't uncommon at the level they were at, and Fuhen expected no less from Aimi, with whom he had playfully sparred with before. Mockingly, he brought a hand to his face and acted like he was yawning.

Very quickly, he cycled through all of his Frog transformations, his skin turning different colors, his body taking on new shapes, doubling in size, becoming invisible... But of course, why would Aimi be all that interested in those? Certainly, he'd earned the ability to control them, but they weren't necessarily his own power, his own... Hard Work.

"You'll 'ave t'do better than that, I'm almost falling asleep!" He teased, laughing heartily. It really had been a good display. He briefly thought of the money he could make doing the kinds of tricks he could do now, if he performed like he used to. Slowly, Fuhen's body returned to its normal state, becoming the same gangly samurai he always was, before taking a deep breath... "Dinnae forget, I taught you swordsmanship, aye?" Clearly an exaggeration, though Aimi had picked up rather quickly on Fuhen's acrobatic Mugen Ittoryu style.

"Let me show you why they call me the Grand Shogun." He raised a hand to the sky, his long sleeve falling down to reveal his sword charm bracelet, and shook it, the metal charms clanking against one another loudly. It was an unnecessary action, but it looked all the more impressive as, in bursts of his pink flower petal textured chakra, swords appeared out of thin air, floating around him dramatically in an impossible display of his sheer bodily control as he entered his first form, a final sword appearing in his hand as he slashed it across the air dramatically.

Without waiting to see his friend's reaction, the Shogun took off like a bolt towards a boulder that would have been impossible for normal men to move, but for people like Fuhen and Aimi, completely normal. He made a show of it as he struck the boulder with the blade in his hand, embedding it deep in the stone, using it as a jumping-off point to get to a different spot on the boulder, another blade entering his hand and then sliding into the boulder in one smooth motion, repeated again and again. With several swords sticking out of the boulder, he stood before it. The pure physicality of the maneuver was impressive, but the effect on the boulder left something to be desired, until he smirked, and casually struck the first blade he struck in...

Faster than one could blink, the blades would all strike each other in a domino effect, vibrating, ripping, and tearing their way through the stone. What was once whole was reduced to nothing more than fine gravel, dust, and sand in the matter of an instant. He entered his second form and turned around to slash his blade through the air dramatically again, making a motion like he was sheathing the blade after an iai strike, the blade disappearing in a burst of flower petals as it touched his hip.

It was a good thing Fudo wasn't around, he would be having a conniption at the idea of blades being used like this.

As his blood circulates more readily through his system, his skin becomes more red, conferring the following boosts on top of form one: +5 Endurance, +5 Chakra Pool - This totals them at +10 Endurance, +10 Chakra Pool."

Addition
A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user takes hold of a sword and slashes the opponent before releasing the sword and taking hold of another sword to attack again. The user repeats this up to twelve times. The attack itself relies upon the high speeds of the individual attacks and the momentary stun inflicted by the previous blows, allowing the user to grab more of the surrounding swords and continue with the technique. With each strike the sword is left behind attached to the opponent, the user grabbing a hold onto another sword and striking before the blade can be removed from the flesh. At the end of the technique, all blades will 'roll' off of the opponent, leaving huge gashes all over their body as the swords thrust tip first into the ground once again. Each time the user strikes with a new blade, it is at a different angle, making the technique unpredictable and very difficult to to defend against unless the target has a Perception Technique of equal rank.

"Well, something like that," Aimi playfully shot back. They both knew that Iaido was his bread and butter when it came to kenjutsu styles, but Mugen Ittoryu had proven time and time again to be a potent supplementary style to go with the quick-draw arts. He was actually quite eager to see how it was that Fuhen had grown in the way of the sword.... but then, where were his swords?

That answer came naturally as Fuhen raised his arm and channeled his chakra, said chakra manifesting as petals dancing around him which was an unusual sight to say the least! Aimi had never actually seen chakra take shape like this while not pertaining to a jutsu. This appreciation got cut short as Fuehn summoned to him a set of floating swords and then got to work, assaulting a nearby boulder in a way that was quite familiar, although it took a second to piece together what it was that the frog was doing. Normally when this taijutsu was used, the blades were positioned much closer together given that it was intended to be used on a person and not a stone. The completion of the jutsu made it crystal clear what was happening, though.

"Impressive," Aimi commented, unclasping his hands from behind his back and grabbing a hold of the scroll that he had strapped on the lower portion of his back. "I concede that you've found a system of carrying multiple swords that's more efficient than mine! Perhaps I could get your secret from you after all this?" he inquired in jest mostly. He doubted that Fuhen would part with whatever it was that he had used, if indeed it was something he could part with. "I think I can do you one better, though," he mused, unrolling the scroll, performing a quick series of seals and placing his hand against the fuuinjutsu written on the scroll, summoning to him in a cloud of smoke his multi-sword holster.

Standing back up straight, the golden Kaguya would hold still as he channeled his chakra and created a skeletal construct that emerged from his back, stepping out from behind him as though out of thin air. Once more he placed his hands behind his back as he had done earlier before lifting his left leg up, extending it, and turning his ankle in such a way that his toes could grip a hold of the corner handle of one of his blades. With a last little smile to Fuhen he got to work, quick-drawing the sword from it's sheath with his leg, twisting his body, and slashing the skeleton he had created! This he did before continuing his pivot and grabbing a hold of another sword and repeating the technique but striking at a different angle.

This would continue, Aimi twisting, pivoting, hopping from foot to foot, jumping over the skeleton as needed, all in order to strike at different angles and grab more swords without withdrawing all of them at once as he gracefully repeated Fuhen's taijutsu on it's intended target size... or was it? After the twelfth blade was left embedded in the bones of his construct, Aimi would pull his hands out from behind his back, grab a thirteenth blade and finish his taijutsu - Multiplication, the evolution of Addition. The ringing of metal on metal would sing out over the clearing as he struck each blade a second time, cleaving the skeleton clean through twelve times over before ending with his back turned on his destroyed creation, the twelve blades jettisoning themselves from the bones and piercing the ground around it in a circle.

Turning back to Fuhen, Aimi would place the end of the thirteenth blade into the ground in front of him and lean his palm on the pommel. "Feel free to use that yourself some time, I don't mind!" he teased cheekily. His tone was still that same soft, elderly-sounding voice that he had had when they reunited, but there was an air of playfulness to it now! It was plain to see that Aimi was enjoying goofing off with his friend like this! How cute!

The Frog's jaw practically dropped as he showed off not only Fuhen's Addition technique but an advanced version. Immediately, a fire lit in his eyes and a wild smile crossed his face. This was no longer one-upmanship, as Aimi crossed a line by messing with his own sword style. "Fight me!" He said suddenly, giving only a second for the older man to prepare himself before Fuhen launched himself at the golden-haired Kaguya with reckless abandon.

His warrior spirit was ignited and he flew through the air with great speed, making a motion like he was pulling a sword off his back as one simply appeared there, aiming for a big downward strike on his friend, exaggerated in nature and intentionally easily blocked with any sort of raised weapon or otherwise. This was simply his warrior's salute, which would allow him to rebound off and enter a fighting stance as more blades would propagate around him, none of his special weapons having come out yet.

"D'ye ken how long it's been since I had a proper good fight? Even during the war, it was... rare." Fuhen was not one to itch for a fight, but he felt a degree of necessity to fight the man as if their common nature itself had created friction. What happened when two rocks cracked against each other? Sparks flew. The air began to heat up, and Fuhen's skin began to redden. He was just starting to get serious with Aimi.

"Fight you?" Aimi replied calmly, his head tilting to the side a bit. Fuhen wanted to spar now? He'd been under the impression that this was just some good fun! Had he touched a nerve? The frog didn't look all that disgruntled, truth be told, but before Aimi could consider this any further the black haired samurai was upon him, dashing forward with impressive speed and summoning another one of his swords from out of thin air and swiping down on him! In the moment it was difficult to tell whether or not his friend was being serious with the strike or if he was intentionally being obvious, but never the less Aimi would answer it by raising his hands up and clapping them together as the blade came down upon him, catching it mid-swing but otherwise not moving a muscle.

He listened to Fuhen's proposal and considered it himself. Smiling up at his friend as his skin turned red and the immediate area began to heat up drastically, the Daimyo of Gold would reply. "A shorter amount of time than I've had the chance to fight another human properly, I can assure you. If you wish to spar, we can spar my friend, but I want to be clear with you up front that you should not be afraid of getting injured with me. Any wounds you may receive I can heal up. I am a medical ninja, after all! Now then..." he trailed off, flexing his muscles and getting a better grip on the sword as he truly began to sweat all over. This heat that seemed to be coming from Fuhen was truly sweltering... was this some sort of katon ninjutsu?

Whatever the case was, he had a feeling that he wasn't going to be able to spar for very long in this heat! He needed to force the frog to get away from him or end this technique, one or the other. To that end, as Fuhen had pulled a surprise on him, he too would surprise the frog. Ossifying bones throughout his body, suddenly emerging from his back at tremendous speeds would be a mass of skeletons! Skulls, torsos and arms all branching off of him and one another once there was no more room for emergence from the Kaguya's back, towering over the both of them and spreading out wide enough that they could practically engulf the pair!

With no more warning than their appearance they would strike, skeletal fists lashing out in the dozens at Fuhen all at once! A nearly unblockable barrage of blows, 50 in total, rained down on the Grand Shogun from nearly every conceivable angle in front of him! How was the frog going to react to this?

Once formed, the user will have a number of new limbs at their disposal that they may use for a multitude of purposes, or the user may simple lash out, unleashing a flurry of blows equal to the user’s [Speed] in number.

Fuhen's eyes went wild and his grin only widened as Aimi accepted his challenge. He stayed perched with his blade in hand as the Kaguya held him up off the ground like he was nothing, and his face trailed the bones up his face initially turned to one of shock, before a smirk appeared on his face.
As the skeletal fists came down in a flurry of blows on the head of Fuhen, fifty blades would propagate around him in a blinding burst of his pink chakra, each interlocked like a shield over the top of him, pushing back against the fists just long enough for the Frog to withdraw the sword between Aimi's hands back into his soul, twisting off against it in the air to aim a cross-kick right for the side of his head. Regardless of its efficacy, the Shogun would carry his momentum to either kick off or through the arc of his leg, performing a kind of baseball slide off into the dirt as his blades and the skeletal arms duked it out momentarily.

"A good workout!" He said with a laugh, doing an exaggerated motion of wiping sweat from his brow as he bounced from foot to foot. The blades fighting the fists all withdrew at once to pop back up around him, slowly whirling in a fashion that Aimi might recognize as familiar to Mugen kenjutsu's "Disorderly Line" technique, juggling and spinning the blades constantly around him without so much as an afterthought. For the first time, one of the generic blades before him would withdraw and in its place would be the only one of Fuhen's special weapons that Aimi might remember, Krag.

Taking it into his hand, he would begin to spin it in time to match the blades, entering the spear stance of the Holy City that Mo had taught him so many years ago. The wooden spear would be a blur in Fuhen's impossibly fast hands, and in what might look slightly clumsy, a small cut would appear on Fuhen's cheek, just barely above his jaw, a single drop of blood dripping down before evaporating almost instantly. As soon as the blood vanished, he would seem to disappear in a blur of speed, popping up behind Aimi and thrusting the spear wildly, leaving him to deal with his Kingfisher technique, as well as the after blow thanks to his Echo Chamber.

* Kushou・Low Wind Rising
D-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
The foundational stance of the Kushou style, Low Wind Rising involves the spinning of the user’s spear or polearm around their body constantly whilst remaining in motion. While in this stance, the user will be able to deflect projectiles with less strength than their own, while also making unpredictable movements of their spear.

Hard Work Style 💢 Echo Chamber
A-Rank Taijutsu Manuever
Activated by drawing blood from his own body, whether it be from an existing wound or from injuring himself, a mixture of blood and sweat will fill an area equal to [Endurance] in meters, turning the field hazy and red-colored, and making a large amount of 'pressure' which causes enemy movements to be significantly harder, causing a debuff of -5 speed. Within this field, actions may be duplicated as his blood and sweat rushes to fill in his movements, but are slower by just moments, causing secondary strikes to form just behind his initial ones. If left unfettered, this jutsu will last up to 5 posts on its own. The haze can be displaced with gusts of wind or gouts of heat with a strength equal to or greater than Fuhen's [Endurance].

* Kushou・Kingfisher Circles the Pond
A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 30 Speed
The user of this technique will take a moment to prepare themselves before dashing full speed around an opponent in order to strike them from behind. The strength of this technique comes from the extreme acceleration used in it, causing those with 5 less [Speed+Willpower/2] than the user’s speed to be unable to follow the user’s movement at all. The user will then make a powerful thrust at the opponent from their new position.

Green Tea

Fuhen was bringing the heat in more ways than one it seemed. Aimi watched carefully as the frog summoned more blades to act as a shield to defend against his oncoming blows while simultaneously withdrawing the one that was in his grip. 'Interesting. He can summon them at will, it seems. He must have a limit though, based on his chakra useage...' he thought, the words more or less broken up in his mind into 'interesting, summon, limit' and 'chakra' before Fuhen responded yet again with a kick that was aimed at the Kaguya's head.

The Daimyo remained still on the spot, one of the hundred arms of his Hecatoncheires thrusting down to block the kick. He allowed Fuhen to slide away without any form of retaliation. "I've had better!" he called back to Fuhen with a smirk on his face even as the samurai bounced and his blades danced around him. He did not, in fact, recognize the movements of the swords from any taijutsu he knew, but they would give him ideas for later! He did not recognize the spear as it was pulled form nothing, for he no longer had a memory of it, but he watched with narrowed eyes as Fuhen danced around with it. 'What is he doing...?' he thought, and then all went red around him.

Faster than Aimi was currently able to track Fuhen was behind him, thrusting his spear into a lattice of bone that caught and prevented the majority of the strike from finding purchase but the very tip did embed itself into his flesh, causing him to stiffen up from sudden shocking pain that was only followed by a secondary blast of force that sent him tumbling forward, an almost comical sight as the sweaty, shirtless man was made to cartwheel over himself, coming to a skidding halt some thirty meters or so away!

Pushing himself up onto his hands and knees, Aimi turned his head and looked back at Fuhen, his vision still impaired by the red mist that seemingly surrounded them. He quickly thought how it was possible that Fuhen had managed to get behind him and attack so quickly. The force wasn't anything he couldn't take in abundance, but there was trickery at work here, more than what he was seeing was at play. The humid heat was exhausting, he could feel his physical energy leaving him bit by bit. How could it be so intense from so far away? And there was no way that the frog should have been faster than him! If anything they would have been equals in speed. No, something was at play here...

"Alright, I'll admit, you've definitely grown strong since I last saw you," he said, pushing himself up to his feet and pulling the phalanx of half-formed skeletons back into his body. They weren't going to be much use at the moment, he had a feeling. "I'm also struggling to think of ways to counter attack that wouldn't be overly lethal... this heat's making it hard to think!" he called, sweat dripping off of his body. His hair was soaked by this point. The wound on his back stung as sweat poured over it even as it was closing itself. "Never the less," he said, his body beginning to glow as he channeled chakra. "You're not the only one that's grown since our last encounter...!"

He would act then, commanding the broken body of the skeletal clone he had made earlier to rise from off of the ground and shoot towards Fuhen at furious speeds, broken shards of bone spiking towards him from his back left side! In the same instant he dashed forward, leaving nary an after image of himself behind as he moved as fast as he was currently able to (noticeably slower than he should have been! Damn heat!) as he closed the distance between himself and the seven swords still sheathed in their case. In a fluid movement he would grab a hold of said case and flick his wrist skywards, sending the remaining swords held within up and then down, raining towards Fuhen in a specific path that would (hopefully) insure that the frog moved in a specific direction with one sword aimed at where he was standing while two more were off several meters to both his left and right, repeated one more a few meters further and then the final seventh blade the furthest out. His intent was the force the Grand Shogun to move backwards in a more or less straight line while he finished his attack.

Said attack would come after the landing of his blades, the Kaguya hopping up onto the pommel of the first that impaled itself (presumably) into the ground, he would run from blade to blade while reeling his arms back, one hand held in front of him, palm forward, while the opposite fist swiftly tapped the back of the hand. The resulting condensed air pressure combined with the follow-up punch that sent it forward was enough to create a tiger-shaped impression in the surrounding air that would rush forward, massive and menacing, intent on colliding with Fuhen! Whether or not the attack hit the samurai or not it would rupture and explode, creating gale-force winds that whipped and whirled over a massive 45 meter radius area! The winds from which would be felt much, much further away, those trees still yet standing being forced to bend backwards in the wind and the grass bowing before the might of the wind! Even the river was forced to change directions for a moment as the powerful taijutsu blew over it!

For Aimi's part, he would let the winds carry him backwards by sprouting a pair of his feathered wings, flapping only as was necessary to keep himself upright. If nothing else, the wind would feel great on his hot skin.

Jutsu UsedShow
Death Bone Pulse • Dance Macabre
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 35 Control
In order to utilize this jutsu, the user must have some form of loose-lying bones around to use. By channeling chakra into these bones the user is capable of shaping, directing and manipulating them. The range at which the user is capable of manipulating is equal to the user’s [Control x 2] in meters. While the user may freely manipulate loose bones within range, they are not able to manipulate those still within a living body.

[Mugen • Infinite Raining Swords]
B-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Mugen • Infinite Sword Attack, 35 Taijutsu
A more advanced version of the Mugen • Infinite Sword Attack maneuver; after the user has performed the technique a number of times and learned of the intricacies of the relation of each blade between each slot of the specialized multiple sword holster, they can more accurately control the way in which the blades are thrown and thus how they are positioned. Using this technique, the user takes hold of a specialized multiple sword holster and hurls all of the blades inside up into the air before the fall down to the ground with the blades sticking the ground. The user flicking their wrist allows the blades kept within to sail upwards into the air a distance equal to 1/2 the user's Strength stat and fall down with 1/2 the user's Strength, turning each sword into a temporary projectile upon using this technique. Due to the user's intimate knowledge of the structure of the holster and its relation to the blades, they are able to flick their wrist in such a way that they can control where each blade lands within a 20 meter circular area.

[Mugen • Running Path]
C-Ranked Taijutu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Mugen • Standing Path
Using this maneuver, when on a sword handle by using Mugen • Standing Path, the user is able to run from sword handle to sword handle that is near them as long as the blade is stabbed into the ground. With this technique the user is able to bend down and pick up any stray swords nearby as well.

[Strong Fist Style • Afternoon Tiger]
S-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: [Heavenly Body Control], [Strong Fist Style • Morning Peacock]
The user places a palm facing forward in front of their face with one hand and then taps it with his other hand, formed into a fist, which creates a massive amount of air pressure. The user punches forward which launches the air pressure at the opponent in the shape of a tiger, by leaving a gigantic tiger-shaped impression into the initially built-up air pressure. The air pressure will condense as it's moving and be focused into a single point. The technique then explodes, releasing the built up air pressure in an instant. A massive concussive explosion is created which can be felt at a distance of 150 meters away. The size of the explosion is 45 meters in radius. The strength of the explosion is equal to the user's [Strength]. The energy of the attack is capable of withering the skin, muscle, and tissue of any being to a quivering mess.

Death Bone Pulse • Skeletal Wings
A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user will channel to ossify bone in their shoulders, growing a pair of skeletal wings at a speed equal to the users’ [Speed]. These wings have strength equal to the users’ [Strength]. These wings then ossify further as thin, hollow bones are added, mimicking the structure of keratin in the feathers of birds. These wings allow the user to fly, giving them a maximum speed equal to the users’ [Speed] while in the air and a maximum height of 30 meters.

As Fuhen's speartip found purchase in Aimi, he thought briefly about using Krag's special ability but decided against it, his heart was racing, and he wanted this to last just a bit longer. The golden-haired man flying off left Fuhen to reset back into his dancing stance, the spear joining the swords in their movements as he punched the air like a boxer warming up for a match. This game of theirs was pumping him up, he didn't realize how badly he needed this to let off steam after being left to deal with politics in Tea country for so long.

"Aye, yer not so bad yerself!" he complimented back, wiping his thumb under his nose as Aimi stood back up. "Take the gloves off just this once, eh? I'll forgive ye!" He laughed heartily and was almost too distracted to notice the man's assault as it came with hardly any warning, resulting in him acrobatically flipping over, doing handstands, playing with the man's sword throws as if he'd invented them himself. The Frog was so caught up in having fun, though, that he only realized he was playing right into a trap towards the very end.

Left focusing on the blades as they came in, and the bones that reached for him, he didn't notice Aimi landing onto his last sword and reeling back an attack until it was just about too late. The Shogun's eyes went wide as the tiger approached, and as time slowed down, he reeled his hand back, a visible spike of air pressure coming around his fist as he misread the strength of the attack and attempted to reflect it right back at him. His fist and the tiger collided, and both exploded from point of contact, but unfortunately for Fuhen, the tiger didn't need to survive that explosion.

The explosion sent Fuhen flying backward in a bloody pulp, forcing him to roll along the ground as best he could, though a keen-eyed observer such as Aimi would notice it would be very difficult considering he was missing... an arm. Blasted back more than 200m away, the skeletal man would finally feel the heat let off of him as the Frog was launched through another patch of trees, obscured in plant life for a moment.

In the din of his exit, there was silence for just a moment. As if the pair would suddenly be passed into a different dimension, in an instant, the sky would darken as clouds rolled in and lightning struck down into the forest, a dry thunder thanks to the heat, though rain was soon to follow. The visage of a massive, armored samurai raised itself from the forest, the same color as Fuhen's chakra from before as he walked out, one arm still missing. "Oh, I've missed this so much." Fuhen's face was lit up like a child enjoying a good joke, and petals condensed around where his arm was meant to be, and it was back in an instant.

He reached up into the air, and the bow Arrakoa was summoned, a pair of his Hunter arrows notching themselves in the string as he pulled them back, launching them nearly simultaneously to cover his slow, confident advance. He was simply... approaching Aimi. Menacingly. How was he supposed to beat the shit out of his friend if he didn't get closer?

Hard Work Style 💢 Artful Deflection
A-Rank Taijutsu Manuever
By moving any part of their body fast enough, the user builds up a significant buffer of air pressure, which surrounds that body part. This allows the user to touch and deflect, or reflect, fists, blades, or even ninjutsu so long as its strength is less than or equal to the user's [speed+strength/2], with nearly no damage to the user, even from passive effects. (Literally .5 of a stat point off from this working lmaooooo)

The Clumsy Tumbler
A-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Despite his clearly supernatural physical abilities, Fuhen was not always so. As a child his long, gangly limbs and gigantic body made him quite awkward and clumsy, and as such he suffered many falls. Now a man, used to his body, and also used to the concept of falling, he has become preternaturally adept at all manners of tumbling, and also picking himself back up when a tumble simply isn't possible. This means that even if thrown with excessive force beyond that of terminal velocity, he is able to turn it into a roll and correct himself to minimize damage, so long as he has momentum and isn't simply thrown straight into the ground. Just as well, should a fall be inevitable, kipping up has become second nature.

Fuhen's third form activates, putting him at 55 speed --

"Fuhen may enter his third form at will. In addition to previous effects, his presence is so immense that untrained fighters may simply faint immediately from the sudden change in pressure. Likewise, this changes even atmospheric pressure, and even in once-clear skies, wind will begin to whip about raucously, and clouds will quickly form, causing rain, thunder, and lightning to begin almost immediately. His chakra will no longer whip around recklessly, gathering up around him to resemble an armored samurai over 50m tall. The visualization of the samurai disappears after the post limit for breaking the 50 stat cap times out. This confers the following boost on top of his form two: +5 Speed - This totals them at +10 Endurance, +10 Chakra Pool, +5 Speed."

Hard Work Style 💢 Forlorn Fighter
S-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Prerequisite: 40 Willpower
Upon entering this stance, Fuhen's sweat begins to dampen the air to a ridiculous degree, creating an incredible amount of humidity over the entire battlefield. For the next 3 posts he must remain within 200m, and he will maintain a defensive fighting style, only striking out at his opponent to intercept incoming blows, or keep the fight busy and test his opponents reactions. During these posts, he will focus almost exclusively on his opponent, learning everything from the way they move to the way they sweat and breath. At the end of the 3 posts, Fuhen will understand how they fight so well, that he can completely predict their moves, and even 'control' them by knowing how they'll react to his moves, for the following two posts, this allows Fuhen to more or less completely dominate his opponent, leaving them in a much worse position by the end of this stances effects. Being that this stance is partially understanding physical movements, and partially a mind game, an opponent may avoid this if they have a higher Willpower than Fuhen.

*[Flawless Aim Style • Hidden Shot]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By releasing two projectiles back to back the user attempts to create a decoy for the second. The first projectile is often larger or of equal size and the second is slightly behind and below it, usually attempting to hide in the first’s shadow. This masks the attack to some degree. However, perceptive opponents who have an Willpower greater than the user’s Speed may be able to see through the charade, provided they have means to do so.

WeaponsShow
Pulled from the depths of Fuhen's anger, and forged from the fiery bones of dragons comes Arakkoa; A longbow almost as tall as he is, sitting at just over 2m in overall height, its red leather surface is quite an intimidating sight for anyone to behold. Arakkoa's special ability is slightly more strange than most, as it has the power to fire anything from pebbles to fully grown humans from its string. Arrakoa's bowstring is also quite special, as upon firing it vibrates erratically, causing arrows fired from it to appear to zip about erratically like they would never hit their targets, creating phantom vibrating images and sounds of arrows, but actually sacrificing no accuracy.

10 "Hunter" Arrows, approximately 82cm in length with Judo tips, designed to grip onto enemies with their sharp barbs, and have blood red fletching. Additionally, these special arrows can lock onto a chakra signature, following their target and able to change direction in up to a 90 degree arc, following them through all but the roughest of terrain for up to 4 posts.

At the same time that Fuhen was being sent flying backwards, Aimi was fighting against the winds of his own attack. It made focusing on the frog a touch difficult when he was flapping his wings and tumbling through the open air in an attempt to stay upright. His swords, the case that held them, the scroll that had summoned them and the scattered and cleaved bones would all be blown away about as far as Fuhen himself had been. One of his blades, though, came flying towards him in the air! He had enough time and reflex about him, though, to reach out and grab a hold of it midflight, his palm meeting the grip of the sword almost as if it were drawn to it.

Within a matter of moments he would stabilize in the air, fanning his wings out and hovering in place with sword in hand as he tried to lay eyes on Fuhen. All was quiet now. The sweltering heat and the red mist were gone. He panted in the air and scanned around for any sign of Fuhen. As the second passed, he briefly wondered if he had gone overboard using Afternoon Tiger like that... had he unintentionally hurt his friend?

Any question of if he had harmed Fuhen unintentionally left him as the sky began to darken. He craned his neck skyward and furrowed his brow. What was happening? Lightning struck and landed in a patch of trees nearly 400 meters away from his current position in the air and rising from the trees would be a gargantuan, pink samurai! Armored from head to toe and surrounded in what looked like petals, the color and flowery bits were a dead give away that this was somehow Fuhen's doing. He had no idea what this new ability was he now faced, but it was...

... Magnificent! To think that Fuhen could change the weather like this, could manifest a giant around him and withstand his Afternoon Tiger at nearly point blank range! The frog truly had grown in his absence, and Aimi could not feel more proud of his friend! For not only had he survived the Afternoon Tiger and done all this, he was advancing, launching an attack even! The glint of arrows only just caught his eye, what looked to be close to a dozen flying towards him all at once! 'He's persistent!' he thought to himself, raising his blade in front of him in self defense.

His arms and blade were a flash of efficiency as they blazed in front of him, swirling and parrying both of the arrows that had been sent his way as well as the perceived after images just to be safe with nearly zero effort, his arms left held in front of him with the blade held high an instant after he began while the arrows fell down to the ground. The smile on his face was from ear to ear! He was loving this! If Fuhen could withstand the Afternoon Tiger, then perhaps...

"You said you wanted me to take the gloves off, just once," he called over the crackle of thunder and lightning. "As you wish, my friend. " Letting go of the sword and letting it plummet blade first towards the ground, Aimi would drop out of the air and land shortly after the blade before walking around it and striding towards Fuhen with as much of a casualness as the Grand Shogun was displaying. If Fuhen were observant, he would see that he wasn't the only one among the two of them that could manipulate nature. Nature chakra coursed through Aimi's body and the grass at his feet bowed away from him as he walked, the river coming to a stop in it's flow, the wind around him freezing in place and the clouds above him calming down and dispersing. A hole in the cloud coverage broken and sunlight bled down to the ground where Aimi stood.

"You are fortunate that it is only me who is capable of using this power, Fuhen! Because of that, the maps will only have to be redrawn a little," he proclaimed loudly as he stopped in his tracks, legs spread wide and bent at the knees, both arms pulled up and crossed over his chest, fists balled up. It was time to show Fuhen that there was still a world of difference in power between the two of them, such was befitting a century of age and seven decades of solitude!
phpBB [video] Aimi would stand in that pose, building up tension throughout his body as he waited for Fuhen to draw close to him. He didn't need to wait, not really, but if he was going to purposefully go all out he wanted the froggy samurai to be within range. It wouldn't take him too long to get close, after all. Once he was, Aimi would smile a confident grin and slam his arms backwards at either of his sides, letting out a grunt of effort as he did! In that moment, the impossible would happen:

The air would shatter.

Fuhen would be able to clearly see the spiderweb cracks that filled the air behind, up and around Aimi as his fists made contact with the air, clear as the daylight that bathed Aimi's skin! An instant later there would be a deep rumbling as the ground beneath their feet began to tremble! An instant later and the crust of the earth would begin to break up, great cracks appearing outwards from Aimi as the epicenter and ripping through the ground, quaking so that any boulders that were within range would crack and shatter as well, the fallen trees that they had both felled at the beginning of this bout splintering and cracking while even more fell over! The water of the river began to buck and rising as though it were the ocean and a tsunami were upon them!

Finally, the world would break. Massive swathes of the crust of the earth would rise and tilt upwards, jutting up high into the sky 110 meters tall! The water in the river would rise up just as high before crashing back down as an actual tidal wave there far on land! Fuhen himself would be caught in all of this, no doubt feeling the raw power of Aimi's taijutsu in his bones while simultaneously being uplifted and tossed around like a doll! Aimi, too, would rise up into the air but before he could lose his balance he would simply jump and fly upwards to avoid the cataclysm he had caused.

Truly this was devastation on a scale that Fuhen would have been unlikely to see come from a single man - and Aimi was still flying high above him, waiting eagerly to see how his friend reacted to this natural disaster he had at his finger tips.

Jutsu UsedShow
[Mugen • Catching Blade]
C-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 20 Speed, Projectile Weapons
A defensive technique used to stop opponents from taking advantage of the user's own swords, should an opponent throw a blade of any kind at the user, using this maneuver, the user can simply catch the blade by the handle and use it themselves. The user is able to catch weapons out of the air that are aimed towards or around them as long as they have [Speed] equal or greater than the objects [Speed]. The number of swords per post the user can catch is equal to the user's [Speed]. The user may use this maneuver with any blade with a handle, as well as arrows and bolts.

Mugen • Infinite Strike
B-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 35 Speed
Despite the name of this technique, Mugen • Infinite Strike is a defensive taijutsu that is meant to block many, many strikes made against the user. To use this technique, the user must stand firmly in place with their sword raised. Then, using as little movement and thus as little energy as possible, the user will block a number of oncoming attacks equal to their [Speed] in number, matching the blows strength with the user’s own in rapid succession in order to deflect any oncoming attacks. This technique fails if the users’ [Strength] is less than that of the strength of the technique being blocked. Should the user move from the spot on which they stand, the technique ends. This Maneuver can be used to block certain ninjutsu attacks within reason.

Quake Fist • Redraw the Maps
S-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 50 Strength, [Rigid Structure], [Heavenly Body Control]
A testament unlike any other to the raw strength that the user wields, the user crosses their arms over their chest and balls up their fists, building up tremendous stress and tension in the muscles of their body. When the user chooses they will slam their arms backwards at their sides with such incredible force that the air they strike visibly shatters as if made of glass. The resulting shock-wave radiates outwards from the user on both sides in a 110 meter radius, ripping through anything that it comes in contact with at [Strength] equal to the users’ [Strength]. Earth, trees, buildings, boulders, etc. are all shaken to the point of breaking apart or collapsing, huge chunks of the upper crust of the earth jutting upwards in jagged hunks up to 110 meters tall. If used over water the water will roil and rage as if by a severe storm or earthquake, creating tidal waves that rise as high as 110 meters before they come crashing down. This maneuver boasts not only incredibly raw power but versatility as well as the shock-waves created from the initial strike can be used like a shield or a wall, blocking or ‘striking back’ against oncoming offensive techniques as they rip and tear through the land and thus deflecting or otherwise interrupting them so long as the [Strength] of the shock-wave is greater than the [Strength] of the technique used.

Fuhen's approach would go unfettered and as he got close enough to his skeletal friend for the man to begin casting his jutsu, his cool confidence was shaken a bit as the world began to shatter around him. At first, as the ground cracked and shattered around him, his unnatural flexibility and dexterity allowed him to continue to walk forwards, his upper body oddly unaffected as his feet found purchase on the ground in all sorts of odd positions, until spires began to jut up. "Aimiiiii!" He called out to the man in the sky just as he kicked off of one of the spires that erupted nearby, launching himself into the sky towards his friend.

Aimi's moves may have been impressive from a destructive standpoint, but Fuhen had no intention of making such a big change of their battlefield. His Effect Focus was on Aimi and nothing, not even the world falling apart, would stop their duel now. His jump strength was enough that he could launch himself straight towards the Kaguya, but such a direct assault would never work on a fellow combat genius such as Aimi. Instead, his target was a little to the left, and just at the right moment, one of his blades appeared, giving him a foothold to kick off of, then another acted as a swinging point to pivot his body, allowing him to approach from unexpected angles. The Frog could theoretically ride one of his blades like a vehicle, but such acrobatic displays were not only more his style, but made his movements so much harder to predict.
As Fuhen entered the air near enough to Aimi, both of his hands would suddenly have blades in them, Ichor, and a sharp kiai would escape his throat. Time froze for a moment, for Fuhen, as he remembered Ichor, as he remembered when they had sprung forth from his soul, the emotions attached to them. Even Aimi might be able to feel the unadulterated evil that seemed to ooze from the blades, no longer just a tool to be used by man, but something entirely of their own volition, a dark part of the Shogun that he was not proud of. Mid-swing, both halves of Ichor disappeared as he did a dramatic spinning slice through the air, instead replaced by the much longer and more elegant blade of Succubus. Ichor would not taste the blood of his friend.

The combination of his god-level speed and the debuff provided by the kiai would all but ensure that his strike, aimed for Aimi's midsection and liable to chop a normal man in half, would at least land a glancing blow. Lightning would strike once more as he flew past the man like a bolt, landing comfortably to sit on one of the flat sides of one of his katana. He kicked his feet like a child on a swing, laughing, clearly taunting the Kaguya. "Ye've spent so long learning how to handle armies, it seems like!" He called out with a smirk on his face. "But how are ye t'handle a one-man-army?"

And again, just as fast as the last time he bolted off of his blade, hopping from space to space around the man in unpredictable patterns, bouncing around like a pinball, while keeping his gaze safely on Aimi. He had no intention of simply letting the man do as he pleased as he took in every bit of detail he could from the man, occasionally leaping through him to land another blow, at the very least forcing his regeneration to continue to work hard.

Post 2/3 for the first part of "Forlorn Fighter"

Who is Often Surprised, But Never Unprepared
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Many times in his samurai career, Fuhen has been caught unawares. Whether it be from animals curious to why he is in their territory, assassins sent by those he has fought in the past, or any number of things, Fuhen has become used to fighting in even the strangest of situations. This means that Fuhen knows how to fight from just about any position, whether it be moving through the air, laying on his back or stomach, or entrenched in small tunnels with hardly any room to swing a fist.

The Master Entertainer and Master Swordsman
A-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
One of the many ways Fuhen makes money during his travels is by being a performer, when mercenary work is low, or he doesn't have time to accept such contracts. He is considered excellent at this due to his outward personality, his interesting speech mannerisms that make people feel more comfortable around him, or laugh, or both, and of course, his ability to perform inhuman feats with his body. He is what most would classically call 'double jointed', able to turn his head around nearly 180 degrees, bend over backwards to essentially fold himself in half, or do the same with other joints that aren't meant to do as such, the elbows or knees, or thanks to his strength and flexibility combined, perform such feats as leaning so far forwards that his nose touches the ground without his feet leaving their spot.

Aerobatics
D-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Hefty bending exercises have lead the user to be able to contort, and otherwise control, their body while under abnormal situations. Namely being able to use momentum to better dodge mid-air, and allowing great feats of taijutsu that normally require ones feet planted firmly on the ground.

Zantou • Effect Focus
B-Rank Kenjutsu Stance
Prerequisite: 15 Willpower
A technique requiring just as much mental focus as the ability to control one's body and a core technique of it's style, the user learns to plant their feet in unison while setting their shoulders and lifting their sword, drawing all of their thoughts away from anything but the opponent or target. This technique is meant to be complimented with drawn out breathing practice and meditation to create a state, temporarily, where the senses are narrowed towards a specific goal. This allows the user of the stance to ignore outside stimuli in a fight incredibly easily, focusing solely on the body movements of their opponent, aiding in predicting their moves based on muscle tensions. This also focuses the user to a point where things such as extreme heat or cold no longer bother them on a mental level, even while physically being burned or frozen.

Zantou • Pups Yipping
B-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Must be under the effects of Zantou • Effect Focus
A more advanced form of pushing one's will onto their opponents, Zantou • Pups Yipping pushes disadvantage onto targets. By letting out their mighty kiai yelp, the Zantou user puts any foes within [Willpower+Strength]/2 in meters under the negative effects of Zantou • Effect Focus, giving them tunnel vision towards the user, narrowing their focus, and making them act with more reckless abandon towards the user. This also offers a debuff of -6 Speed towards the targets. Effectively acting as a taunt, the targets Willpower must be greater than the users Willpower in order to resist the effects. This effect may be maintained as long as the user continues their kiai at least once every two posts, but otherwise lasts a total of two posts.

Zantou • Weather the Storm
S-Ranked Kenjutsu Discipline
Those truly proficient and trained in the art of Zantou know that the strongest warriors must continue their fight, outlasting even the mighty biting winds of Blizzard country. To ensure this war of attrition ends in favor of the Zantou swordsman, they learn this technique to ensure their opponents always, eventually, fall before they do. Those with [Speed] less than the users [Speed] will find it impossible to completely dodge all blows from the user, always coming away with at least small cuts every time the user moves their blade towards them. Each small cut is rarely enough to end someone's life on its own, but they all build up to throw the battle of attrition in favor of the Zantou swordsman.

A desire for equality through power brings the cold, unforgiving steel of Succubus into being. Longer than his usual katana, with a 75cm blade and 30cm handle, Succubus is designed to reach an opponent who would otherwise be very difficult to hit. The primary power of succubus is its power to disrupt chakra systems of anything it comes into contact with. Thanks to its unique anti-chakra coating, a light touch on a normal creature such as humans is enough to prevent their ability to mold chakra for the next two posts, after a single post offset time. However, beings of chakra, such as spirits or those who took the leap away from humanity with elemental bodies or similar will find their entire form disrupted, with a light touch making a horrific wound that can't be regenerated through normal means, and any cuts destroying their form entirely, leaving only their core behind. This also allows succubus to cut through chakra areas as though they were paper, shredding apart ongoing effects such as sensory bubbles or other such effects.
"It's so sad!" the reader said to the writer with a frown. "The character in my book just died!" The author turned to her and burst out into tears, "I know!" he said, "So did mine!"

Green Tea

Fuhen could indeed be called a combative genius given his display of power to the golden Kaguya. His sheer physicality and balance that kept him upright and, more impressively, allowed him to leap off of the massive chunks of earth that were ripped up from Aimi's attack were testament enough to that, let alone how he kept using those summoned swords of his, whatever they were, in new and unexpected ways! Truly a versatile weapon at his disposal! However, if there was one place he erred, it was in making Aimi more reckless on purpose. He'd intended to let the gloves off once and then call it a day, but now...
phpBB [video] As Fuhen made his way through the air towards Aimi, the Kaguya could not deny that, somehow, Fuhen was faster than he was! It wasn't by terribly much, but somehow the frog had managed to obtain speeds that were impossible for Aimi without the aid of Nature Chakra - and his refinement of that particular art was still far from perfect here in the Real. Fortunately for Aimi, he wasn't trying to be faster than Fuhen that very second. Instead, as the taller leader of Tea approached him, Aimi would ossify his bones and create a thin but exceptionally durable layer of bone beneath his skin, donning his bone armor for what would come next. This spar of theirs was either going to end very soon or continue to grow more destructive. He figured it was a good idea to start playing defense a little bit.

His protective layer of bone applied, Aimi would simply stay still as Fuhen blasted past him like a bolt of lightning, his blade striking true! However, Fuhen would doubtless notice the familiar feeling of steel pressing up against a similarly hard material, for his cut would amount to little more than a surface level flesh would! The effects of his special weapon would still take effect as planned. But once again, Aimi in his now forced reckless state wasn't exactly focused on molding a lot of chakra.

"You're mistaken if you believe that I learned how to do this to fend off armies!" Aimi cried back, raising both of his arms up in the air above his head. "I am every bit a one man army as you, Fuhen!!" he cried, his fingers splayed and curled. If Fuhen looked close, he could see the creases forming in the air as, once again, Aimi did the impossible. As Fuhen darted around him and granted his body the occasional cut, Aimi remained still and focused, the muscles of his body flexing and pushing out against his armor, the cuts closing soon after they were opened and a satisfied look in the Kaguya's eye, for he knew there was no need to aim with this taijutsu.

With a grunt of effort he would throw his arms downward and with this motion, the world would be turned upside down. A deep, reverberating rumbling would be heard echoing out over the massive area of their battlefield as the local atmosphere in their immediate area of 200 meters was flipped - literally flipped - as though Aimi were turning over a mattress! With all of the leaping and springing that Fuhen was doing, there was a very slim chance that he would see this coming and be able to anchor himself in time before he was forcibly thrown upwards into the air as though gravity had reversed itself! Aimi would follow suit, given his position in the air but would be quick to right himself given he understood what was happening, and he was not the only thing that followed behind them.

All around them in a 200 meter radius the chunks of earth that Aimi had commanded to rise from his previous taijutsu would collide into one another as even larger swathes of the earth were lifted upwards like tilting plates, smashing into one another or toppling over like dominos! The river, too, was once again affected, the water being thrown up into the air only to crash and fall like all the rest! As this symphony of destruction took place, Aimi would rush through the air towards Fuhen, noticeably slower because of his forced recklessness but still immensely fast, stopping once he was almost directly in front of the Frog with one arm reeled back over his torso, a massive ball of visibly unstable energy wrapped around his fist, ready to strike!

In the blink of an eye he would slam his fist into Fuhen, bursting the bubble and once more shattering the air itself, Aimi's view of Fuhen visibly distorted as a result! Once more a massive shockwave would ripple through heaven and earth, shattering raised chunks of the earth as easily as flesh and bone! Should this blow land, Fuhen's body would definitely feel it as immeasurable pain washed over him accompanied by rupturing organs, shredded muscles and shattered bones!

All of this would take it's toll on Aimi as well, however. Such extreme levels of taijutsu did not come without cost, and Fuhen had already wore his body down substantially at that point from earlier! With this, though, Aimi's body would give out momentarily from the utter exertion he had forced his body through. He was sweating, panting, hovering in the air as the world around him continued to crackle and break apart. Hit or miss, Aimi would begin to descend towards the ground, his wings flapping only in time enough to prevent him from outright dropping out of the air while his blue eyes continued to stay locked onto Fuhen, watching to see what the samurai would do if he could do anything at that point! His body might have given out for the moment, but he was still very much in this fight!

As the land began to settle into it's new shape around them and Aimi came to land on the ground, chest heaving up and down, he would call out, "Hey... maybe... we should... call it there yeah? Or at least take a break?" It was a plea to end the spar then and there, whether he had hit Fuhen or not. Of course, given Aimi's inability to resist his croaking taunts, it was truly up to Fuhen if this fight was over just yet or if it would continue.

Assuming, of course, he was able to answer...!

Jutsu UsedShow
Death Bone Pulse • Bone Armor
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
By ossifying bones through their own body the user is able to create a thin yet durable layer of bone over their muscles and beneath the skin over their entire body at the users’ [Speed] and has Strength equal to the users’ [Strength].

Quake Fist • Grand Upheaval
S-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 50 Strength, [Rigid Structure], [Heavenly Body Control]
A testament unlike any other to the raw strength that the user wields, the user will hold their arms up above their head and grab a hold of the air itself, visible creases showing where the user digs their fingers in to get a hold. The user will build up tremendous stress and tension in the muscles of their body while doing so. When the user chooses they will throw their arms downward with such incredible force that both heaven and earth are affected. A deep rumbling sound will echo as the local atmosphere within a 110 meter radius of the user will be inverted, resulting in anyone within range who has [Strength] less than the user or who lacks a way to anchor themselves to be sent hurtling up into the air, losing balance and tumbling upwards a number of meters equal to the users’ [Strength]. Additionally, enormous swathes of the earth will ‘tilt’ upwards in alternating directions, decimating building foundations and sending any structures toppling over and crumbling down. If used near or over water a similar effect takes place with the water.

Quake Fist • Unspeakable Wrath
S-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Quake Fist • Natural Disaster, 50 Endurance
A cataclysmic technique to be used against the most heinous of enemies, the user pulls their arm back over and across their body and balls up their fist, building up tremendous stress and tension in the muscles of their body, forming a bubble of pressure around their fist. This bubble is different from others like it in that it is visibly larger and unstable, roiling with the latent physical energy being poured into it. When the user chooses they will slam their arm forward directly into a target, bursting the bubble with such incredible force that the air the strike visibly shatters as if made of glass. The resulting shock-wave radiates outwards from the user in a 200 meter radius, ripping through anything that it comes in contact with at [Strength] equal to the users’ [Strength]. Earth, trees, buildings, boulders, etc. are all shaken to the point of breaking apart or collapsing, huge chunks of the upper crust of the earth jutting upwards in jagged hunks up to 200 meters tall. If used over water the water will roil and rage as if by a severe storm or earthquake, creating tidal waves that rise as high as 200 meters before they come crashing down. The effect that this has on a living body is catastrophic. The force from the initial impact as well as the shock-waves passing through utterly destroys the body, rupturing organs, shattering bone, shredding muscles. In order for this Maneuver to be considered nonlethal, the target must either have some form of defense to block or lessen the impact or an [Endurance] of 50. This amount of physical devastation is not without its’ cost to the user as well. After performing this Maneuver the user suffers a -5 [Strength] debuff for 5 posts and must spend a minimum of 1 post resting from the sheer physical exertion brought on by this technique.

Green Tea

Fuhen had Aimi on the ropes, even as he noticed his blade caught on the man's subdermal armor, he took this as a positive sign as he continued to test the man's reactions, learning everything about his boney friend. He was in control, the battlefield was his to play with as he pleased, and then... It all flipped. Visible shock crossed the froggy samurai's face as he slipped off of the blade he was standing on. Quickly, he was able to right himself once more, another blade catching him as he flew towards the sky for a moment.

The Shogun's senses went into massive overdrive, head darting around like an owl, eyes moving independently, taking in everything that was happening around him. Where would the strike come from? Would the earth itself collapse onto him? Would the river rise up to drown him? And then there was Aimi, doing a full-frontal assault, so very like his friend. This was more than a haymaker he was winding up for, and Fuhen knew without a doubt after the tiger attack from last time he couldn't afford to take it head on.

Instead, he simply... disappeared. Aimi's fist would impact nothing more than a bundle of flower petals as Fuhen's Grit would pull him to another piece of equipment in the air, instead of pulling the equipment to him. His mind raced as Aimi's ungodly impact shocked the air, that sort of blow would have obliterated any sort of normal fighter, and even Fuhen would have likely been left bleeding out. He wasn't sure if he could recover from such a thing had it actually impacted him. Then, the shockwave started coming. His eyes widened. Aimi Kaguya was a madman.

The Frog knew he couldn't outrun the massive shockwave, even with his insane speed, so he crossed his arms in front of his face and likewise around 20 blades interlocked to form some kind of defensive barrier. The swords were strong, but not stronger than the strike and practically disintegrated as the shockwave hit them, only saving Fuhen from a small amount of the damage. It would have to be enough, for now.
In another burst of flower petals, Fuhen's body would refresh itself, his last use of instant recovery from such deadly wounds, yet he breathed heavily all the same, a wild smile on his face. "Hah, hah... Yer next line is..." He called out, "Hey... maybe... we should... call it there yeah? Or at least take a break?" Imitating his friend perfectly shortly before he said his words, even managing to finish the sentence slightly before him. "Aye, I think if'n we go any further, we'll kill each other..." He laughed loudly. "Next you'll say..." "An excellent duel, we'll need to have a rematch!"

Fuhen's teleportation is thanks to his Grit stat. "25 Fuhen may now teleport seamlessly to his signature gear. The distance he may teleport is equal to his [Gritx10] in meters. Fuhen must have a relatively clear line of sight to the signature gear he is transporting to, must have nothing big enough to completely block his body in the way, and can do it a number of times equal to his Endurance divided by ten. The teleportations require a cooldown following Space-Time rules."

Being that this stance is partially understanding physical movements, and partially a mind game, an opponenet may avoid this if they have a higher Willpower than Fuhen.

It would be hard to explain to anyone just how physically exhausted Aimi was at that point in time. He could certainly still push himself if need be, but after three Quake Fist taijutsu back to back of one another, he was more than a little worn out! He didn't even notice that Fuhen had predicted his words the first time around, so focused was he on the throbbing in his muscles all over his everything. He bent forward and grabbed a hold of his knees, something that you really weren't supposed to do but the spar was over. The gold Kaguya could afford to be a bit improper for a moment or two.

"An excellent duel, we'll need to have a rematch!" he said cheerfully while hunched over, only to pause, his eyes snapping open. Had Fuhen just said those exact words to him and he repeated without realizing it!? How had he managed to predict what he would say!? Standing back up straight, Aimi would eye his friend warily, arms raised up defensively in front of him, not quite crossed over each other but bent in such a way that he looked like he was poorly imitating a mantis pose! "Hey, how'd you do that? It's really creepy!" he protested, only to give up immediately after and bend back over to pant some more.

"Whew! I haven't had to exert myself like that since I invaded Kirigakure," he remarked casually, straightening up once again and placing his hands on his lower back to stretch his throbbing abdominal muscles. "Let me fix us up a bit," he said, attempting to channel his chakra to make a healing green flame but finding that he couldn't! This was certainly a distressing development! He tried again but nope! Nothing! It was like he'd forgotten how to mold chakra all of the sudden, which was absurd because he absolutely had not forgotten how to do that! So what was going on!?!

"Hey, what'd you do to me!? I can't mold my chakra!" he complained, pointing an accusatory finger at Fuhen who, now that he looked at him, actually looked kind of fine? How was that possible!? He took a point blank Afternoon Tiger to the face! He should have been laid flat out on his back! And the shockwaves from his Quake Fist techniques should have affected him as well! Did Fuhen have some sort of advanced regeneration he didn't know about!? WAS THE FROG STEALING HIS STYLE!?!?

As Aimi complained about Fuhen's predictive powers, he did not answer, simply chuckling and leaning his body back a bit while fanning a hand out in front of his face. He hadn't exerted himself nearly as much as Aimi it had seemed, but the man's raw destructive power was not something to be taken lightly. If he could manage even one or two more of those, the Frog might not have made it through. To be fair, the leader of Gold was in the Shogun's world just as their duel came to an end, but it was best to end it now, to save both of their egos from a bruising.

As the man yelled about his chakra, Fuhen couldn't help but burst into laughed, breaking his pose to slap his knees dramatically, pointing at the man. "You'll get yer chakra back soon, dinnae worry!" The laughter continued as he walked towards his friend, wiping a tear from his eye. In the same flashes of pink as before, his special weapons, Krag, Arrakoa, Succubus, and even Ichor floated around behind him dramatically, and slowly Succubus would wheel itself around to land down in two outstretched palms.

"These weapons were forged from my soul, Aimi. Succubus here is... the shinobi killer." A small smirk crossed his face, and he turned the hilt of the blade towards his friend, allowing him to pick it up if he so wished. "I think it even's the playin' field nicely when they're dealin' with us minor country folk, eh?" His smile widened as he watched the Kaguya try to recover from their battle. "Give it maybe... A year? Six? Eh, ah'm sure ye'll be fine!"

Fuhen was laughing, so there was no hard feelings between the two of them it seemed. Which was good because Aimi had DEFINITELY ruined this area for any sort of development and made it into a new land mark instead. Some leaders of nations might have taken offense to that, but not the frog apparently. Aimi relaxed a little as the samurai assured him that he would get his chakra back soon. So the effect was only temporary, whatever he'd done. If the Kaguya had to guess, he'd say it was...

Aha, his suspicions were confirmed as the Grand Shogun pulled out a set of special weapons, explaining that they were forged from his soul... whatever that meant. Fancy word play to say they were near and dear to his heart? "Succubus? That's a strange name for a weapon," he said, reaching out and taking the blade and giving it a couple of casual swings from side to side like he were waving a stick rather than swinging a sword. Just testing the weight really. "It would certainly be devastating to any shinobi that's over reliant on their chakra to win fights," he admitted, passing the weapon back to Fuhen and keeping mum about how he'd used next to no ninjutsu during their sparring session.

"It might give us more of an edge if there was more than one of them," Aimi remarked, bringing his hand up and rubbing his chin thoughtfully, imagining what he could do if his samurai were all equipped with such weapons. His thoughts were interrupted by the black haired man's next words. "Eh? What do you mean a year or six? You'd better be joking, Fuhen!" Aimi said irritably! Some part of his doubted that Succubus could seal a person's ability to mold chakra for an entire year, let alone six, but still... he needed his chakra...

After doubtlessly sharing a laugh with his friend, Aimi would look around them at the devastation he'd caused. Raw earth was everywhere, shattered and broken to bits in huge chunks. Given a couple of years and this area was going to be nothing but steep hills. The river that had run through here was no more as well... or at least it would have to find a new path to travel, or cut through the earth again he supposed. He was thinking that he could maybe carve a path to restore the river's path so as to not disrupt the ecosystem too much when he remembered their wager. Who had won? Where were the trees that had been cut down for the wager?

"... Do you think you can help me find my swords?" he asked meekly after staring off into the distance for a moment. They'd had their fun, now it was time for the two of them to clean their room. In a manner of speaking.
