Username: Gunshanks
Ryo: 0/2446
Companions: 0/2
Trainings: (27/50)
Prestige Perks: (5/5) Accountant+, Arms Dealer+, Fundraiser+, Legacy+, Beast Tamer
BIO | INVENTORY | ABILITIES | JUTSU
Origin: River Country
Rank: S-Rank Samurai
Affinity: Raiton
Age: 33
Gender: Male
Physical Features: Standing resoundingly tall at about 210cm, with much of the height coming from his strong legs, Fuhen would often not be considered homely or handsome to most. His hair has gotten longer in his travels, and is now kept pulled back in a loose tail to keep it out of his eyes, but often it breaks free, leading down to his lightly slanted eyes, semi-pointed nose, and rather large mouth. Both his right hand and both of his feet have webbing between the appendages. His body is thin but wiry with muscles, and where he was once a sickly pale, his many years of travel in daylight have darkened him considerably, bringing him to a much more natural skin tone. Scars exist all over his body, especially his arms and back, from various duel and battles.
Clothing/Accessories: Where once Fuhen's clothing consisted of ragged travelling clothes, his change of pace into that of the Shogun has left him in more traditional looking samurai clothing, designed and made by two of his younger sisters. This outfit consists of a pair of hakama trousers that go down to his ankles, loose fitting and dark blue in color, designed to give him maximum mobility, and paired with a pair of traditional kyahan, which tightly secure the hakama to his legs so that he does not trip over them. This is completed with tabi, though he wears his kegetsu boots even when not wearing his armor. For tops he wears a black shitagi, accented all over with cute little frogs in various poses, sitting, jumping, going after flies, or various others. When not wearing his armor, he also wears a white hakama top, the right breast emblazoned with the kanji for "Iyashii of River", and the back proudly sporting the symbol of his revolution. Lastly, similarly designed by his sisters are a matching necklace and charm bracelet (worn on his left wrist) that contain an obscene number of miniature swords, reminiscent of the giant basket of swords he used to carry on his back, but thankfully easy to make no noise with.
Personality: Fuhen can often come off as a loud lout, being one unafraid to speak his mind in most situations, even if it might get him in deeper trouble. He is fiercely loyal to his family, and any he considers his extended family, and down right defensive towards their honor, rights, and general persons. Once young and clumsy, he has since grown out of this, though to a casual observer he would still come off as someone who almost looks uncomfortable in their own skin, walking in strange patterns that almost make him appear drunk at times.
Fuhen is a fan of a good fight, but has reservations against killing in most circumstances. Having taken a few lives in the past, he understands the necessity to do so at times, especially in the defense of others, but would generally rather leave most drunken brawls having given out a few bruises and bumps than pierced hearts. Good natured and good hearted, he is quick to jump in to offer assistance wherever he is needed, but is also unafraid to take payment for any services rendered.

Thanks to Fuhen's Shogun ability, all equipment listed below are considered "Hitodama" and are no longer carried around except within his very being, or unless otherwise stated.

HistoryShow
Born to a small fishing village, Fuhen was simply one of those children born different. He was not the first in his village, or the first ever in existence, but he was one of a few. Those cursed, or depending who you asked, blessed with the Numakon trait. Neither of his parents shared the trait, however, the village was a strong believer in having everyone stick together, regardless of appearance, age, skill, or anything else. He was fed and led a relatively normal life. The village itself specialized in fishing, with a few of the village designated to gather herbs and berries for added flavor to the fish. The village was self-sustaining, but certainly not rich, not thriving, and not growing.
At the age of twelve, Fuhen began to understand the the need for strength and force, even in a small village like his. A small group of ruffians decided it was a good idea to pick on the small fishing village that can barely take care of itself, let alone give "payment" in the form of their limited food supply. The village, to the great shock of Fuhen, took up arms. They stood together, fishing spears in hand, fishing nets at the ready, taking the bandits by complete surprise and in the process of killing over half of them, ran the rest out. After this, Fu began to train himself daily. Working on perfecting his body so that he could be a force to be reckoned with if anyone ever tried to mess with his village again. It was his ground. How dare anyone ever try and defile it again?
Several years later, skipping to the age of sixteen, Fuhen had trained himself hard. Slowly developing his own fighting style (Developed around the childish idea that "Hey, one sword is powerful, I bet a million are even stronger!), and with nothing to test it out on. However, a ninja had come crashing into their village. Not on purpose, mind you, but boy did he come crashing. Having been in the middle of a hunt with a missing ninja from his village, the ninja ended up tearing up some of the landscape, and taking down one of the huts. Understandably, Fuhen was angry, though could not do much about it. When the battle was over, the ninja was near dead, passed out, and even with all the destruction, the village took him in, patched him up, fed him and gave him water, and were about to just let him go with no form of payment, though he had offered. Only Fuhen made a request. "Teach me how to fight." It was laughable, in fact, the village leader, and the ninja both laughed. But, the ninja patted him on the head condescendingly, and handed Fu a scroll he had pulled off of the missing ninja, containing the basic, but useful style of Gouken Ryuu. While still slightly angry at the ninja, the young boy Fu took the scroll without complaint, and immediately poured over it for days and days at a time.
At the age of 18, Fuhen began to travel the world. This was in part due to a bit of wanderlust, however it was also due to an increase of taxes in the entire country. Being a member of such a large family, he simultaneously decided to give them one last mouth to feed every day, and also go out and find work so that he could bring home enough for his family to always be taken care of. His travels took him far and wide, and he did everything from bounty hunting to taking care of local bandit populations.
At the age of 20, Fuhen had his first encounter with slavers, meeting them while taking on a job to find a missing person from Pebble Country. From the moment he laid eyes upon the slave's conditions, he knew he had to put an end to any sort of activity that even vaguely resembled that sort of thing. He made a solemn vow to himself the freedom for all would become his goal. Also at the age of 20, he met Kotentou, an Iwagakure ninja who had left their post. A strange fellow, he passed off a scroll that contained the secrets of chakra, which were later trained alongside Yato, a Konoha missing ninja.
Since these occurrences, our Frog has traveled to the vast majority of the minor countries, and all of the major countries, meeting the people and becoming quite famous. His escapades as a hero and freer of slaves have earned him quite a name amongst people all over the known world, and while not immediately recognizable, many would recall his name as being told in stories. His exploits are many, as are the friends he has gained.
At the age of 27, Fuhen met his first apprentice, Sato, a samurai from waterfall country who was mostly self taught, and who sought him out after his adventures in Dragon Country, taking out the leaders of a local gang alongside the monk named Gendo. Shortly after this adventure began, however, River country came under attack by missing ninja led by a shapeshifter named Katsu. Rather than stay and fight, Fuhen took as many of his people as he could away from the fighting.
As the war ended, Fuhen led a refugee caravan, back to travelling once more, but with aspirations after the war to unite the little people's in defense against what happened both to his country and so many others in the wake of the great war. He met the Kisama clan and recruited their help to found the Glorious Heart Empire after working to liberate Tea from its despoiled despot.
Years later, Fuhen encountered a man named Eun who claimed to be from a continent called "Yeong-Wonhan," who told him that their armies were coming and that their people and lands were forfeit. In a duel with the man immediately following this claim, Fuhen lost his life.

Krag, Kingdom ComeShow
Krag, Kingdom Come
All empires crumble under the weight of their people. Brought forth to embody justice for the people, Krag is made of only the simple leather and wood, tightly bound to form the full shaft and head; Relatively short for a spear at 1.2m in length, Krag makes excellent for a quick striking tool, however the first power of Krag is that it can extend to up to 5m thanks to an advanced telescoping mechanism. Representing the sudden change of rebellion, the second effect of the spear is that with the flick of its owners wrist, the tip can move out of the way, instantly revealing and letting loose a mighty explosion at 40 strength in a 50m spearhead shape. This can only be done once per thread, however its unpredictable nature makes avoiding at least a glancing blow very difficult.

Ichor, Drooling AnimalShow
Ichor, Drooling Animal
Prey and Predator alike succumb to nature. Brought to life in the vats of primevil ooze existent only at the bottoms of oceans past rises Ichor; Actually a pair of two identical katana (though one may be hooked to a belt for single use.) Ichor is a pair of weapons designed to cause nearly irreversible bleeding, cuts caused by the wicked serrated blades cause targets to begin bleeding at double the normal rate, and its wounds wont heal without advanced Iijutsu being involved, even if the one it cuts has standard regeneration. Because of this, a single cut can be enough to kill weaker foes, but even stronger foes will find the irreversible bleeding too much to handle after a few good cuts. This results in a -12 debuff to endurance on with its other effects.

Arrakoa, Rage UnboundShow
Arakkoa, Rage Unbound
None shall flee, but for the birds. Pulled from the depths of Fuhen's anger, and forged from the fiery bones of dragons comes Arakkoa; A longbow almost as tall as he is, sitting at just over 2m in overall height, its red leather surface is quite an intimidating sight for anyone to behold. Arakkoa's special ability is slightly more strange than most, as it has the power to fire anything from pebbles to fully grown humans from its string. Arrakoa's bowstring is also quite special, as upon firing it vibrates erratically, causing arrows fired from it to appear to zip about erratically like they would never hit their targets, creating phantom vibrating images and sounds of arrows, but actually sacrificing no accuracy.

Arrows:
- 30 "Standard" Arrows, approximately 82cm in length with razor sharp broadhead tips and bright white fletching.
- 10 "Hunter" Arrows, approximately 82cm in length with Judo tips, designed to grip onto enemies with their sharp barbs, and have blood red fletching. Additionally, these special arrows can lock onto a chakra signature, following their target and able to change direction in up to a 90 degree arc, following them through all but the roughest of terrain for up to 4 posts.
Succubus, Stolen PowerShow
Succubus, Stolen Power
Beauty is power; a smile is its sword. A desire for equality through power brings the cold, unforgiving steel of Succubus into being. Longer than his usual katana, with a 75cm blade and 30cm handle, Succubus is designed to reach an opponent who would otherwise be very difficult to hit. The primary power of succubus is its power to disrupt chakra systems of anything it comes into contact with. Thanks to its unique anti-chakra coating, a light touch on a normal creature such as humans is enough to prevent their ability to mold chakra for the next two posts, after a single post offset time. However, beings of chakra, such as spirits or those who took the leap away from humanity with elemental bodies or similar will find their entire form disrupted, with a light touch making a horrific wound that can't be regenerated through normal means, and any cuts destroying their form entirely, leaving only their core behind. This also allows succubus to cut through chakra areas as though they were paper, shredding apart ongoing effects such as sensory bubbles or other such effects.

Tokoshi, Army of OneShow
A specialized, custom made sheath, built for holding large quantities of swords. The sheath itself is 90cm in height, 45cm wide, and 45cm long. With an open mouth on one end, and closed securly on the other, tightly holding sixty simple katana, revealing only their hilts. Though the swords may looked randomly placed the design is used to maximize use and with minimal spacing.
Currently, inside the sheath, are 60 simple and plain katana, each one exactly the same, with a 63cm blade, and 28cm handle. One special katana also exists, which contains the fuuinjutsu elements necessary to permanently seal a spirit inside of it.
Wrapped around the sheath is 50m of well made, patterned rope, designed to look pretty, as well as capture targets effectively and tie them up.

Nikawa, Ties That BindShow
Because of Fuhen's special saliva, it is often handy to carry extra around at all times. Two jars hang above each leg, off of Fuhen's belt. The strength and length of time the spit stays active when thrown on the ground is equal to Fuhen's Endurance, as described in his "Numakon Trait" ability. Each jar is about 15cm tall, and 15cm around. When tossed on the ground and broken, the saliva covers an approximate 35x35cm circle.

Numakon:The Numakon trait is a rare ability found once every several generations in people all across river country. The ability itself is said to be the result of fornication with swamp spirits, though the actual causes are unknown. The ability itself provides its owners with a long, prehensile tongue (roughly three feet in length) that functions as an extra limb, stronger than average legs which allow them to jump twice the height and/or distance their strength would indicate, along with sticky saliva that is produced in copious amounts thanks to incredibly active saliva glands, which grows more powerful with age and use, primarily dependent on their endurance to determine its strength. Skilled Children of Takiyasha have also been known to channel their frog genes outwards in strange and esoteric ways.
Endurance Stickiness 1 - 9 5 Strength 10 - 19 10 Strength 20 - 24 20 Strength 25 - 34 25 Strength 35 - 39 35 Strength 40 - 50 40 Strength
Shogun:Having mastered complete control over his own body, Fuhen has earned his status as an ultimate weapon master, becoming The Shogun. Where others teach the mantra that a weapon is an extension of their body, Fuhen lives it. Enhanced by a surplus of chakra that is focused into his physical talents rather than manifesting in the usual ways, his very blood sweat and tears soaks into his arsenal of choice. This allows for a series of odd techniques (also requiring the Heavenly Taijutsu concentration), but also provides several passive benefits via 'signature gear.' Any equipment on his character sheet counts as his signature gear, and all signature gear he owns has the following benefits:Additionally, this changes the appearance of Fuhen's chakra, which leaks out whenever he's going all out. It will take on a pink color, as well as being textured like flower petals, overall taking on an appearance similar to cherry blossoms. Grit is Fuhen's manifestation of raw sense of self, inner strength, and fortitude, allowing for true mastery of body, leading to a degree of power and unique abilities that few can compete with
- Fuhen can sense, with unerring accuracy, anything within 1m of his signature gear, but equipment must remain within the average of his [
Gritx2] in meters. This does not count as line of sight for Grit teleportation.- Fuhen can trace where any signature gear has been, as long as it was considered signature gear during its travel.
- All signature gear can be mindlessly controlled from a distance, moving at a strength and speed equal to his speed. Max distance is equal to [Gritx2], in meters. The maximum number of objects that can be controlled at once is equal to his Grit stat.
- All signature gear is toughened to strength equal to his Endurance.
1Moderate/Critical/Lethal are as defined in the Immortality and Elemental Body rules.
Grit Level Effect 5 All signature gear may gain the passive of Fuhen's elemental affinity, using his own strength in place of jutsu strength to determine the power level of the passive. 10 All signature gear can function as Hitodama.2 15 Fuhen may enter his first form at will. His chakra begins to visibly leak out of him, sending his flower petals scattering to the wind, and conferring the following boosts: +5 Endurance, +5 Chakra Pool. 20 Fuhen's body may immediately restore itself from moderate wounds1 twice per thread. Doing so costs the equivalent of a B-rank ninjutsu. 25 Fuhen may now teleport seamlessly to his signature gear.3 30 Fuhen may enter his second form at will. In addition to his chakra leaking out around him, his raw presence becomes immense, his sweat and blood begin to evaporate, actively raising the temperature around him several degrees, and increasing the humidity level. As his blood circulates more readily through his system, his skin becomes more red, conferring the following boosts on top of form one: +5 Endurance, +5 Chakra Pool - This totals them at +10 Endurance, +10 Chakra Pool. 35 Fuhen's body may immediately restore itself from critical/lethal wounds1 twice per thread. Doing so costs the equivalent of an A-rank ninjutsu. 50 Fuhen may enter his third form at will. In addition to previous effects, his presence is so immense that untrained fighters may simply faint immediately from the sudden change in pressure. Likewise, this changes even atmospheric pressure, and even in once-clear skies, wind will begin to whip about raucously, and clouds will quickly form, causing rain, thunder, and lightning to begin almost immediately. His chakra will no longer whip around recklessly, gathering up around him to resemble an armored samurai over 50m tall. The visualization of the samurai disappears after the post limit for breaking the 50 stat cap times out. This confers the following boost on top of his form two: +5 Speed - This totals them at +10 Endurance, +10 Chakra Pool, +5 Speed.
2Hitodama are defined as weapons that are pulled from Fuhen's soul, and may be placed or replaced instantaneously in order to swap weapons out on the fly.
3The distance he may teleport is equal to his [Gritx10] in meters. Fuhen must have a relatively clear line of sight to the signature gear he is transporting to, must have nothing big enough to completely block his body in the way, and can do it a number of times equal to his Endurance divided by ten. The teleportations require a cooldown following Space-Time rules.
