  • Face/head: Ishi has an unremarkable face. Not ugly, not attractive Just normal.
  • Body: Ishi has a smaller, lither frame more like an acrobat but a bodybuilder yet manages to have explosive muscles in part due to the extremely advanced tenketsu he possess.
  • Notable Features: None visible to the eyes yet!
Clothing/Accessories: Ishi tends to wear the standard Sunagakure shinobi outfit.

When working as his alter ego at night, he wears a full body black jumpsuit, with red coverings over it. He wears leather gloves and boots, wrapped in bandaging. A red hooded cape covers his body. His face is obscured. A feint web pattern is on all the red pieces.

  • General: Ishi is a young man with a powerful sense of duty- his strong willpower completely derived from this. He is an optimist and always gives things his best shot.

Puppet
Worn on the back like a low profile hard-shell backpack when not in use, Spider Arms is a puppet of four arms, each roughly 10cm in diameter. Each arm consists of 3 extendable segments, each a 1 meter long with a 365 degree pivot joint between them. The final segment for each arm ends in a sharp kunai like tip. The arms have 30 strength and are made of wood and can be controlled to work as a defense, offense, or utility.

After being bitten by a spider spirit, Ishi's tenketsu mutated such that through neurological impulses alone he can extend sticky-silk like threads from any tenketsu point of his body and control them. The stickiness, speed, and strength in which the threads can move is equal to his [Control] stat. Threads cannot stretch further than [Control] x 3 meters without snapping. Additionally, as an effect of the mutation Ishi's body is covered in an extremely dense amount of tiny special hairs that poke through even clothing allowing let him grip to surfaces with [Strength].

Ishi has memorized and learned the exact aerodynamics, trajectories, and properties of his silk tenketsu threads. This allows him to flawlessly wield and aim them as second nature even in harsh conditions, from any point of his body.

Ishi will attempt to attach threads to object(s) then quickly retract them or manually pull the threads while performing a twisting motion. This motion creates a natural lever and lets this maneuver take the edge in cases of matched strength, effectively de-buffing the opponents grip by -1 strength.

Bouncing Shot
D-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
Prerequisite: [Chorded Weapons], [Projectile Weapons]
Ishi will fire a silk tenketsu thread at a shallow angle, targeting the ground or a hard surface. The shallow angle of the shot causes the silk to bounce off of the surface, moving at -1 Speed and striking with -1 Strength after the bounce. This technique can be used to launch an silk from an unexpected angle or to shoot around, over, or under obstacles.

The many special spider-like hairs that cover Ishi's body are extremely sensitive to air pressure to a point where they can feel directional movement towards himself. By centering himself on the sensations of his hairs, Ishi has an uncanny edge on feeling incoming attacks before they strike. This effectively de-buffs incoming attacks against him by -3 speed whilst he is in this stance, making it that much harder to hit him.

Aerial Threading

Ishi has trained to a point of second nature his ability to position and use his silk tenketsu threads to perform aerial acrobatic feats such as swinging, rappelling, bungie jumping, slingshotting, and even breaking falls.

C-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
Ishi will shoot a short strand of silk at up to 6 separate objects, no more than 25 meters apart, in a way such that the ends of the silk whip into each other, sticking together. Relying on the physics tendency of elastic threads in-flight to stretch, shortly after the objects are connected, the silk will rebound to it's actual length like a rubber band causing all connected objects to be pulled together at [Silk Strength] smashing whatever is in the center of all the strands.

[Sidekick Disarm]
D-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
Used in conjunction with [Yoink], when Ishi is within close-quarters range, Ishi will spin around and deliver a sidekick into the weapon at a strike point opposite of the point his silk is anchored too. This causes the weapon to deal with being pulled by the silk at one end while also being kicked the opposite direction, often resulting in the weapon bending depending on it’s durability and the strength he pulls with.

Ishi is extremely well trained at weaving a variety of seemingly unrelated attack styles together. Whether aerial tackles, spinning kicks, straight punches, or even shooting silk shots between his strikes, Ishi is adept to a point of second nature of executing his strikes without any penalties to his flow of movement.

[Swinging Drop-Kick]
C-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
From an airbourne position Ishi will use his silk to make a pendulum motion towards his opponent, whilst moving his body into a full drop kick. The added momentum and his full weight behind the move gives it an effective de-buff of -3 strength against those trying to resist his kick who don't have adequate technique with bracing for impact via [Rigid Body Structure]. If the target has less strength than the total force of Ishi's kick they will be knocked backwards towards the ground and dazed for a brief moment.

C-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
Whilst evading an attack Ishi will drop onto one of his palms backwards and rotate his body in a cartwheel like motion to avoid the strike, while simultaneously kicking his legs with intense speed and power. The increased centrifugal force of this motion causes it to occur at a blinding speed that when mixed with the erratic nature of his movement causes those who don't possess adequate technique in judging [Acrobatics] to suffer an effective -3 speed de-buff at reacting to his counter-attack.

C-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
If on lower ground than an opponent. Ishi will rock his body onto one hand while extending a leg out, only to move to his hand opposite his extended leg while lifting his hip and kicking up at the opponent's chest and chin. The force of this movement can send a standing opponent off their feet and into the air 3m for every point of strength difference in Ishi’s favor and dazing them for several seconds.

B-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
Ishi will spin on his back heel building an extreme amount of centrifugal force. When coming out of the spin he will uppercut the opponent aiming for their gut, chest, or chin. This launches the opponent off their feet if they are weaker than Ishi. Opponents have an effective -4 de-buff against the strength of his hit if they do not posses any like-rank [Rigid Structure] techniques to help the deal with bracing against such a hit. Opponents successfully launched fly 3m into the air for every point of strength difference in Ishi’s favor.

B-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
Ishi will fire silk at an opponent using it as a pendulum to “slide” under their legs while also limiting their ability mobility to counter. So long as he is fast enough, he will flip up from behind them and can either tug on his silk or landing on their shoulders, sitting on them and silk-zip backwards to the ground performing a suplex like move in a singular, fluid motion. If Ishi is 5 or greater strength then the opponent this will cause them to be stunned for a post.

B-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
In addition to Ishi’s ability to subconsciously control his silk tenketsu threads, he has learned to use the threads with his “Four Arms” puppet to control them as if they are an extension of his body; his own limbs. Be it using his arms to hold him up and fling him so he can drop-kick without a web, using them to weave silk tenketsu threads together, or using them to fall back onto or grab onto an incoming object.

A-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
After an opponent is airborne, Ishi will shoot webs to restrain them and spin them, and while doing so, spin himself behind them. He will then grab hold of the webbed target and pile-drive them into the ground head first while rotating at a ferocious speed. Due to the opponents inability to adjust, move, or position their body to break a fall along with the rotation force, they face an effective -5 strength de-buff in defending against the attack unless they have adequate skills and a like-ranked technique in [Acrobatics] to appropriately distribute their bodyweight during the pile-driver.

[True Spider Sense]
A-Rank Stance Taijutsu
Closing his eyes and focusing solely on the extra-sensory he gets from the spider-like hairs that cover his body, Ishi will center himself on the minutest difference of air pressure, temperature, or environmental changes around him to a point where he can imagine a 365 degree image of the world around him through his sense of feeling alone- no sight needed, up to 120m out. This uncanny ability almost gives him a sort of pre-cognition by sensing the minute changes early enough to react, and effectively de-buffs incoming attacks against him by -5 speed whilst he is in this stance, making it that much harder to hit him. At times, Ishi’s body can almost move on his own while in this state, even if he is as the edge of consciousness as his body enters a flow state reacting instinctively to the sensory input, like a spider.

Ishi's childhood was etched with loss. Tragedy snatched his parents far too soon, leaving him under the care of his gruff but warmhearted Uncle Benimaru and Aunt Go. Life under their modest roof was a stark contrast to the privileged childhood he might have known, but Ishi thrived. His mind, a diamond in the rough, gleamed with intelligence. Though socially awkward, his dedication to his studies earned him recognition as a prime candidate for the shinobi academy.

School, however, proved a double-edged sword. While excelling in his academic pursuits, Ishi's social awkwardness made him a target for bullies. He learned to weather their taunts by deflecting with his own humor and quick wits, finding solace in the world of knowledge. Graduation at 14 ushered him into the prestigious Scribes of Sunagakure, a haven for scholars like himself. Here, he delved into the mysteries of puppet component design and chakra studies, his research potential blossoming.

Then, fate intervened. During a field trip to another Scribes facility, a seemingly unremarkable spider sank its fangs into Ishi's skin. Shame kept him silent, a secret festering beneath his skin alongside the venom. Soon, though, it was more than a secret. A debilitating illness struck him, culminating in a bizarre awakening. Suspended in a web spun from his own body, Ishi discovered a power as extraordinary as it was terrifying.

Fear and fascination warred within him. He retreated from the Scribes, his research lab transforming into a self-imposed sanctuary. His studies took on a new urgency, fueled by a desperate need to understand this power, this curse. Days bled into weeks, his responsibilities neglected in favor of self-scrutiny.

One fateful day, Uncle Benimaru, a man who lived by the honest sweat of his toil, approached Ishi. He would make way to trade with a caravan out in Wind Country and asked Ishi to accompany him as his Shinobi guard. Ishi, however, was consumed by his research, the world outside his cocoon fading into irrelevance. He brushed aside his uncle's request, the weight of impending discovery clouding his judgment. What was a simple mission to accompany a moisture farmer worth anyhow?

Alas, Uncle Benimaru never returned. News of a bandit raid shattered the fragile peace of their lives. Grief gnawed at Ishi and Go, for Ishi grief laced with the bitter tang of guilt. Benimaru's parting words echoed in his head: "A shinobi's power comes with a duty, a responsibility to protect those who can't protect themselves." Ishi had failed that duty, his self-absorption a betrayal of everything his uncle held dear.

Shame metamorphosed into resolve. Ishi vowed never to let fear and isolation rule him again. To never let the pursuite of knowledge take him like it had. He emerged from his research cocoon, his eyes blazing with newfound purpose. He would honor Benimaru's memory, not by burying himself in dusty tomes, but by wielding his unique power in the service of others. And so, "The Spider of the Sand" was born, a protector cloaked in threads of guilt and redemption.

While working by day in the internal bureau of crime investigation for Sungakure, at night he used his leads to become an iron fist that ruled over the alleys of Sunagakure, bringing swift justice to those who would upset the peace.
