"What the fuck was that?" He said out loud. But the orphans had scurried away from him.

Surging with chakra a wild and crazy statue of a horse manifested itself before Shuichi and he kicked it towards the children before him, encouraging them to fight back or get out of the way. "Would you like to learn how to do that?"

Hello Orphans
Today was a special day, they had been told to come to the back of the main house for some training, the Avians and the Lupine were supposed to practice together, while the Serpentines got to go on a field trip. Truth be told, Yume' kinda envied the others as he wasn't exactly looking forward to anymore training, he was getting sick of it due to him constantly training new styles and techniques wherever he went, from orphanage to orphanage he had been forced to train new jutsu, whether it was from the scroll he was handed by his estranged parents or if they had been instructed by the beneficiary to train him whether it was physically, emotionally or mentally, Yume was forced to be strong.
Today though he had chosen to try to train some fuuinjutsu, or at least that was the plan before everything turned to shit, see, he wasn't exactly expecting Shuichi to show up from nowhere and cause problems. He had spent the morning reading over the scroll he had been gifted and mentally prepared for any form of training he could get out of this day, he looked over his scroll before setting himself up for the training, he walked down the long grassy road that would lead him to the main building, he rounded the corner right as he channeled chakra on his gunblade before he drew four corners and then connected them together in order to spring up the barrier.
Once the barrier was erected he would watch how the trapped students banged on the barrier, much to his amusement, but what he wasn't exactly expecting was that they weren't banging to be freed, instead, they continued to hit the barrier to warn Shuichi that someone was causing a ruckus, a fact that he had missed due to him being too excited. What the hell is going on here? Yume turned around to spot something he had never expected, and what would come next would probably set him up for future events even he couldn't expect.
A sigh rolled off his breath as he wasn't exactly expecting to have to deal with a bully first thing in the morning, in fact, he thought this orphanage had some sort of high expectations on the kids attending, but what could one expect when they brought kids from all over the world, problems would surely arise, no matter how attentive your teacher was, besides, it wasn't like they could expel these orphans, that would be pretty grim.

Charge Fuuinjutsu • Drawing A Barrier

Prerequisite: Gunblade / Weapon
After placing four barrier tags in a square, the user draws a line with a weapon and connects each of the tags. When kai'd, all the tags are set off simultaneously throwing up a barrier at a strength and speed of the user’s [Control]. This barrier lasts for 4 posts.
Yume was quick to channel chakra to his eyes and cast another jutsu on his allies, this one would boost their confidence as the voice in their head would sound just like Yume's where they would hear him say "Stand sharp boys, we are going to win." Yume wasn't too sure about those words but when he saw that the effect worked he smiled slightly, he needed these boys in order to take down this bully, no matter what happened from here on out he would make sure to do his best not to falter.
His mind went back to the day he was introduced to the orphanage in Iron Country and how he first met Ikanbi, she was a strange woman indeed, from her own words she was immortal but she never explained how she spoke to great lengths about a new orphanage she was going to open and how Yume would fit better there than the one in Iron Country. From the looks of things this one was fancier, perhaps she had spent more money on the ever-growing country rather than Iron which seemed to be stuck in the past.
Not that he had anything against Iron, in fact, he liked their culture, the Coalition wasn't bad either, it was different from the rest of the countries he had been in, and from the sounds of things the country was still growing and wanted to become some sort of beacon of freedom. What does that even mean? Yume had no idea what freedom meant because he had never been allowed to make his own decisions, except for what to wear basically, he had been controlled by an invisible hand, one that he hoped to meet face to face one day.
But that wasn't what was in order for now, what he truly needed to focus on was how he would get him and his boys past this situation they found themselves in, the barrier wouldn't exactly be able to stop Shuichi but it would be able to protect them from the initial attack, or so he hoped at least. If Yume was forced to tell the truth then he would say that he was nervous about this situation for no matter how much he put up an act that he was calm and cool, inside he was tearing up because he wasn't sure if he had what it took to make sure that his friends didn't end up in a bad situation.

After forming a set of hand seals or channeling chakra, Yume concentrates his chakra on his eyes, once ready they will twirl, which will send out a portion of their consciousness at a speed of [Control] to a range of 10 meters. If it makes contact with its ally, Yume can insert a single thought into the target's head. Things such as "You got this", "Don't fall for their trap" and "You are trapped within a genjutsu." Their ally will be able to discern where the thought appeared from as this isn't an invasive thought but rather him assisting his allies. But if they are trapped within a genjutsu then it's a battle of the enemies [Will] vs the user's [Control]. The user has a -1 [Will] for the duration of the technique.
Yume wasn't prepared to see a kid go flying, especially since Ikanbi had always told them that these trainings would always be looked over by a professional, Suichi was far from it, in fact, Yume thought he was a stinky person, he always smelled like metal and action, action in this situation being sweat, it wasn't like Suichi was a sweaty person but from a kids perspective anyone who wasn't as pristine as his matriarch was a stinky person. The Elemental body specialist had taught them discipline and this boy in front of him was far from disciplined.
"I don't know who you are but I won't let you abuse us kids any longer!" Yume wasn't the bravest person but he knew that it would be wrong to let this person get away with the heinous actions he was performing, first and foremost, the kids were just playing with him, second, he sent the boy flying which was never okay in his eyes.
Yume took a battle stance and looked Shuichi deep in the eyes, his body told him that there was nothing he could do but still he needed to attempt the best he could, he watched how his four friends tried to gather around him, but not in a way that would signal that Yume was important but rather that they were a crew, among them they had a fast tai specialist (20 speed) according to Yume, strong (25 speed), smart (25 will) and the last one was a master of ninjutsu (20 Control), together they prepared to engage with Suichi.
Victory was never guaranteed but loss wasn't certain either! Yume let his two boys rush him him, the strong and the fast one as he formed a set of hand seals that he had been learning, he knew that a D-Rank Genjutsu wouldn't be enough to sway him but if he did indeed manage to pull it off in time then he would at least buy his boys some time, and perhaps they could get rid of this bully, worst case they'd cry to Ikanbi and Nehan to get rid of this mean boy!
He let his charka hand loose from his body as his shadow puppet rushed from his body, it clung to the walls prepared to attempt to grab Suichi! Yume had cast a simple genjutsu that made him appear more dangerous, Suichi probably would realize that this was a genjutsu but for now, Yume needed to build his genjutsu library!

After forming a set of hand seals or channeling chakra, the user will force a sum of chakra to his shadow, it will start running in another direction from the user, if the the target sees the shadow running in a different direction from the user then the Genjutsu has been triggered, within the Genjutsu the shadow will move around at speeds that the brain can barely comprehend, in fact it almost appears as if the shadow teleports from place to place, this Genjutsu lasts for 4 posts.
Just because he was focused on training his shadow ability didn't mean that he wasn't ready with his gunblade, in fact, he wanted to make sure that he could change ammo on the fly and even change the current bullet activated if time was off the essence, still, he had no idea how the damn thing really worked so, for now, all he would plan out was whether he should try to use it or wait for the right moment, as it drew chakra from him, not only when he called it but also whenever he pulled the trigger. What did Brawl tell me? "Be careful with that thing, one wrong move and it might tear your damn arm off!
Perhaps... Perhaps this isn't a tool for a kid, you know what! If you are who I believe you are then you'll probably do better with this than most of these bozos that call themselves mercenaries! Just... Don't pull the trigger unless you really need to okay, kid?" Brawl was a good man, and a damned fine blacksmith on top of that, although he had no idea what he referred to if he was who he thought he was, in fact, a lot of people claimed that they somehow knew of Yume or told him that he had a great future ahead of him, but what did he know?
Well all he knew was that he was some orphan kid from Fire Country that was snatched away from some blonde beneficiary that pulled him from country to country, so what great future could possibly be in store for him? Especially if he didn't get out of the sticky situation he currently found himself in, Shuichi wasn't going to give in and therefor Yume needed to pull out all the stops, whether that was new jutsu on the fly or if he pulled jutsu out of his memory. The only issue was that trauma was standing in the way of his memory and therefor he could only pull out a hand few of memories at the time.
No matter, what he managed to pull was how to switch the cylinder and how to reload efficiently, heck, Yume could do it without looking and knew exactly which bullet would be loaded, so he changed from Fang over to Trigger in preparedness for what would come next, but first, like previously mentioned he needed to train his shadow ability for if his "Twin" wasn't up to scratch then Yume would feel like a failure, for if one of the siblings failed then surely so did the other? Or at least that was how he resonated it.

Prerequisite: Gunblade
A simple taijutsu discipline that allows Yume to rotate the cylinder and or reload the cartridge without looking when switching bullet Yume spins the cylinder until it lands on the effect he wants and when it comes to reloading he just pulls out the entire cylinder cartridge and reloads with another cartridge, this discipline allows Yume to perform these actions on the fly and at the speed of the user's stat.
The philosophy of the gunblade, or Lionheart Style as it was named was derivative of multiple combatant styles boiled down to what was the most efficient fighting style, by trimming the fat and making sure that no move was unnecessary. Yume's eyes were locked in on Shuichi and he could already see his next move in his mind eye, but his mind was quick to wander back to his training days, he remembered the day he stumbled upon a special person whom Ikanbi had not introduced him too, in fact what was told that night was supposed to be a secret for Ikanbi had gotten hold of a close quarter combatant expert from Hidden Cloud Village, a female martial artist that would help Yume become the best swordsman he could possibly become.
So, when he thought back to that training he remembered that they were spending one rainy night simply focusing on training his proficiency and accuracy with the weapon, each strike was supposed to line up perfectly and each slash should meet the first one dead in the center. He trained this simple move about 10,000 times, not only to master his aim but to also get used to carrying the weapon and not get tired out by usage. His mind continued to play tricks on him as he recalls that he wanted to cry that night, how much he hated training but his mind also revealed flashes of how happy he was once he finished training the strike, Yume remembers that the martial artist too said that the boy had a fantastic future ahead, which once again confused him.
Present day, Yume still hadn't pulled out Slither and in fact was still biding his time, he knew that if he acted too fast then he would be caught by surprise, and worst of all there was a very real chance that the target would steal the sword from him and use it against him, which was a thought that began to creep up his mind, perhaps he should create a taijutsu tech that stops that from happening or perhaps a specific jutsu created to disarm those who weren't gunblade specialists in order to get the weapon back without much hassle, there was much to do but little time to get the job done.
I need to make sure that no one can steal it... Wait a minute... Slither's shadow ability should make sure that no one can steal it from me... But I should still ask Enzaragi-Sama to teach me a style that disarms my enemies. He had already began training a bit of Tsukiton thanks to Enzaragi, so asking him to teach him some more Taijutsu was probably not an impossibility!

Prerequisite: Gunblade
A simple taijutsu technique that allows Yume switch up his strike game, by torquing his body he is able to double slash to throw their opponent off their game. Yume slashes in a perfect x mark where the center meet on order to create a devastating blow, this technique can be used in juncture with other techniques to hide Yume's true intentions.
Yume reached for his weapon after he had tossed it towards his enemy, playing it as some sort of sick twisted boomerang, sure it ate some of his chakra but it was worth it, especially since it allowed him to keep some distance and plan ahead. The next time the gunblade came back to his hand he switched ammo type from explosive to a covering effect, he wanted to try out a new jutsu against Shuichi, especially now that he had the most chakra, for he figured that this fight wouldn't be a short one, it would probably drag out and become a problem, especially if he didn't deal with the situation.
Yume knew that he couldn't rely heavily on the others to help him through this, he could always choose to leave the situation and let the kids deal with it, as it had nothing to do with him, if he was truly honest. His need to be there for others had kicked in, he desperately wanted to be liked, for he had moved around so much that he no longer remembers what his childhood friends looked like, leaving him little choice but to fight for whatever he could get. So here he was, reaching for his blade, triggering Fang to cover his sword in ki sabre.
From bottom to the tip, the blade would be protected as he spun around in a perfect circle, sending out a blast that would cut at [Strength] as it shot 5m outwards. The blast wasn't strong enough to actually kill anyone, and was more of a distraction to help his buddies try to land their jutsu, heck, it wouldn't even be strong enough to stop their jutsu from being deployed. I was expecting it to be a bit stronger... Yume was a bit ashamed of his lack of strength, but no worries, that would come later, well, that was if there would be a later, considering how mad this lad was.
If I train my strength then I can spin around harder and send the wave flying at a deadlier speed, that would probably solve the equation we are looking at here. Yume wanted to rub his chin but had to switch over to explosive bullet for now as he knew that he would just eat up his chakra reserve if he kept Fang going. No, Yume was already done training the jutsu, now he would have to try something else out and see what his imagination could come up with.

His mind continued to play tricks on him as he recalls that he wanted to cry that night, how much he hated training but his mind also revealed flashes of how happy he was once he finished training the strike, Yume remembers that the martial artist too said that the boy had a fantastic future ahead, which once again confused him.
Present day, Yume still hadn't pulled out Slither and in fact was still biding his time, he knew that if he acted too fast then he would be caught by surprise, and worst of all there was a very real chance that the target would steal the sword from him and use it against him, which was a thought that began to creep up his mind, perhaps he should create a taijutsu tech that stops that from happening or perhaps a specific jutsu created to disarm those who weren't gunblade specialists in order to get the weapon back without much hassle, there was much to do but little time to get the job done.
I need to make sure that no one can steal it... Wait a minute... Slither's shadow ability should make sure that no one can steal it from me... But I should still ask Enzaragi-Sama to teach me a style that disarms my enemies. He had already began training a bit of Tsukiton thanks to Enzaragi, so asking him to teach him some more Taijutsu was probably not an impossibility!

Prerequisite: Gunblade
A simple taijutsu technique that allows Yume switch up his strike game, by torquing his body he is able to double slash to throw their opponent off their game. Yume slashes in a perfect x mark where the center meet on order to create a devastating blow, this technique can be used in juncture with other techniques to hide Yume's true intentions.
Yume reached for his weapon after he had tossed it towards his enemy, playing it as some sort of sick twisted boomerang, sure it ate some of his chakra but it was worth it, especially since it allowed him to keep some distance and plan ahead. The next time the gunblade came back to his hand he switched ammo type from explosive to a covering effect, he wanted to try out a new jutsu against Shuichi, especially now that he had the most chakra, for he figured that this fight wouldn't be a short one, it would probably drag out and become a problem, especially if he didn't deal with the situation.
Yume knew that he couldn't rely heavily on the others to help him through this, he could always choose to leave the situation and let the kids deal with it, as it had nothing to do with him, if he was truly honest. His need to be there for others had kicked in, he desperately wanted to be liked, for he had moved around so much that he no longer remembers what his childhood friends looked like, leaving him little choice but to fight for whatever he could get. So here he was, reaching for his blade, triggering Fang to cover his sword in ki sabre.
From bottom to the tip, the blade would be protected as he spun around in a perfect circle, sending out a blast that would cut at [Strength] as it shot 5m outwards. The blast wasn't strong enough to actually kill anyone, and was more of a distraction to help his buddies try to land their jutsu, heck, it wouldn't even be strong enough to stop their jutsu from being deployed. I was expecting it to be a bit stronger... Yume was a bit ashamed of his lack of strength, but no worries, that would come later, well, that was if there would be a later, considering how mad this lad was.
If I train my strength then I can spin around harder and send the wave flying at a deadlier speed, that would probably solve the equation we are looking at here. Yume wanted to rub his chin but had to switch over to explosive bullet for now as he knew that he would just eat up his chakra reserve if he kept Fang going. No, Yume was already done training the jutsu, now he would have to try something else out and see what his imagination could come up with.

Pulling a large metal tree out of his asshole Shuichi threw it at the orphans from out of really seemingly nowhere from their perspective. Some of them even assumed immediately that it was a genjutsu but did move out of the way anyway as the real thing very much did suddenly materialize and grow larger and larger with every passing moment in Shuichi's backside and as he turned around and flicked his tail at it it shot off towards the orphans and turned sideways and took up most of the room.
"Oh shit." Said one of the little girls and then she dove out of the way too. "How bout that?" She said as she watched another one get away she wasn't sure would have. Shuichi moved to the side out of the way of practically everything the orphans threw at him and never even took his hands out of his pockets. He spun around and danced and floated around them and he kept pressure on Yume, suddenly stepping on his toes hard and pinning him to the spot.

Fast and Strong lept to the sides to dodge the mad kid's attack, smart and ninja side stepped and cast their own jutsu, smart would cast a simple B-Rank Genjutsu that would flip the world upside down if they made eye contact while ninja would cast a barrier at 25 str around Shuichi, they hoped that they could lock him within that barrier while Fast and Strong beat him to a pulp.
Yume was also within the barrier as he hoped that he and his "Twin" could assist Fast and Strong, We need to do this fast, or else we might not be able to beat him before we run out of chakra! We don't stand a chance alone but together we might be able to stop him! Yume was quick to form a set of hand seals while his "Twin" did the same, the shadow cast Hold and reached out in an attempt to grab Shuichi, while Yume attempted to cast another genjutsu.
Fast and Strong would try to circle Shuichi while the shadow crept towards him from the center, Fast would deliver a low kick while Strong attempted an overhead smash. If Shuichi peered down at the moving shadow then Yume's genjutsu would cast, this time he saw the shadow dance wildly towards him, break apart, and turn into three erratic tentacles, with that Yume attempted to reposition but was too slow as Shuichi had managed to dodge everything and step on his toes.
"Argh... He's faster than we thought!" He was fast enough to dodge their speedster, what chance did they truly stand? No, they needed more back up, they wouldn't be able to deal with this beast on their own. No! Don't give up Yume! You have to believe in your team! We can do this! He felt his toes cry out in pain, due to their strength differences it was impossible for him to pull his foot away, instead he attempted to push Shuichi, to either get him to back off or distract him. "Get off me you bully!"
His "Twins" shadow would still move around in a teleporting matter unless Shuichi had canceled the genjutsu, his shadow hold still attempted to rush after him as well, combined with the new genjutsu. Though he now knew that his "Twins" shadow hold wouldn't be nearly strong enough to hold this beast of a man, perhaps they could fool him, Yume hugged Shuichi in hopes of being able to hold him in place, hopefully long enough for his shadow hold to grab on to him.

D-Rank Illusion Genjutsu
After forming a set of hand seals or channeling chakra, the user will force a sum of chakra to his shadow, it will stretch out and attempt to grab the target, if the target sees the shadow attempt to grab them then the Genjutsu has been triggered, within the Genjutsu the shadow will split up into three tentacles that act erratic as they hunt down their target, this makes it harder to tell where the real shadow is, this Genjutsu lasts for 4 posts.
Yume thought back to when he first arrived in the Orphanage, how the mysterious benefactor had taken him from another minor country and moved him to Iron Country only for her to meet with Ikanbi who insisted on taking them to Crescent Coalition, apparently, Ikanbi couldn't guarantee their safety on her own and Nehan being a wanted person, knew that it would be safer to hide the kids somewhere in Crescent, besides, Nehan was going to be close now anyway, especially after Konoha went sour on the deal and killed Chikara, Yume's unknown father.
He had been granted a special weapon that belonged to Chikara, but Brawl had transmogged the weapon to appease a child, it was a gunblade, a makeshift sword and projectile weapon that worked more like a special sword that could change its usage depending on the special type of "bullet" inserted in the cylinder. What Yume didn't know at the time was that the weapon could activate 5 bullets at the same time, but considering that he lacked chakra to even properly handle one bullet at the time, five was out of the question.
The first training with the weapon was to learn proper trigger discipline, so he wouldn't just shoot the weapon every time he struck his target, for that was a sure-fire way of losing most of his chakra in one go, or even worse, losing the weapon because depending on the bullet the weapon could act as an explosive or perhaps even cover the blade in poison, so he needed to master the weapon before he set out to use it. He also knew that he needed to train the ability to change ammo without the need to stop, whether it was to swiftly change the cylinder or by reloading a new cartridge, but that would come later.
Yume reached for his gunblade and placed his finger next to the trigger just like he had trained but stopped from pulling it out as he wasn't sure that he needed it as of now, for he had to make sure that his comrades were safe before he equipped himself with a weapon, for one couldn't be too careful around one's friends when they were in a fight, it was far too easy to hurt your allies if you randomly pulled out a weapon, so, for now, he would steady his hand, especially since his shadow and friends were already busy with their own onslaught, no, Yume would have to be patient if he wanted to use Slither to his advantage.

Yume wasn't the type to daydream so much, well okay that's not true but he didn't usually go into his head when it came to fights, he was more of a reactionary combatant but due to him having so little power in the situation he knew better than to question where his mind for lately it had begun unlocking new techniques for him, his repressed mind was powerful but not as powerful as he initially hoped, the barriers were coming unhinged and with time he was slowly growing in power, whether it was thanks to the orphanage or not.
There wasn't much in this world that could get under his skin but the idea that he wasn't strong enough to protect those he loved really pushed him to become something he wasn't used to, a heroic figure, perhaps this was why he wasn't chosen to be Lupine and was chosen as an Avian instead, because him being pushed to be this aggressive would probably just end up biting him in the rear, but no matter for what truly mattered was the fact that they were dealing with a foe that was relentless.
No matter how he spun it, he could only really see one way out of this and that was due to the excessive training he had gotten from people with names out in the world, they had shown him that sometimes no matter how much you try to will it the world won't let it happen, but Yume wasn't the type to give up, no, instead he was the type to focus on trying to find a way, no matter the price, which usually ended up taking a toll on him.
As long as I keep my focus and my temper I should be fine. The young boy was highly educated, even though he was forced to move around so he knew what was what the second he found himself in these types of positions. His hands started to glow in Fuuinjutsu color as he swiped the corner of one of the barriers to release the kids. "Run now while you guys still got the chance!" Yume yelled at the students before his attention returned to Shuichi.
His blade still hadn't been drawn as he still felt that it wasn't ready to be used yet, he still needed to bide some time before he went full out, for he was still here to train which was his original plan before Shuichi went bananas and started fighting the kids.

Just as quickly as he had stepped on Yume's foot, Shuichi was surrounded by children from every direction and a barrier had gone up. His tail slapped Yume playfully against the cheek. It wouldn't hurt, but it would feel like a caressing and loving rub. It would feel incredibly cold though, being made of soft and fluffy metal even if those words didn't particularly fit together in a sentence usually. Soft and fluffy metal it was though nonetheless and Shuichi teased Yume with it all the same.
Shuichi's ears adjusted suddenly and twitched and his body exploded into many pieces. Shards took the form of metal birds that flew around the room and it very much looked like a genjutsu to anyone that would possibly have seen it. How would they possibly know that Shuichi was really made of metal the entire time. It was mostly a secret anyway.
The birds formed back together into Shuichi behind Fast and Strong and he grabbed both of them by the back of the necks and lifted them off the ground. "Hello there." He said evilly with a dark tone to his voice and threw both of them at Yume at what he guessed was a speed he could actually deal with.

Things weren't exactly going according to plan, Yume wasn't exactly succeeding with his plan, though from the looks of it they did indeed manage to capture metal fox, eyes quickly scanning but not able to maintain the speed needed to even capture what happened, all that could be heard was his soft yelp that was interrupted by a deep breath, he wasn't prepared for it, but no matter, he hadn't given up, instead his Shadow formed a set of hand seals before stretching out towards him yet again, this time if he saw the action he would see how the shadow expanded 10 meters in all direction, making it far harder to spot the real shadows size.
Yume and his "Twin" were creative today, they finally got the chance to show what they were really about and due to circumstances they had to show up. The dream walker would move the second his foot was free but was preoccupied with having to dodge his incoming allies rather than to focus on casting his own spell. This is not good, if I don't capture him soon they'll be knocked out, and I'll be out of chakra. Yume grunted, he wasn't sure what he could do to stop this being for he seemed to be able to cast genjutsu far stronger than he had ever witnessed, this wasn't good.
Yume would land and immediately start working on a new genjutsu to cast, this one would be a bit stronger than the last one but for now his Shadow's genjutsu was what had been completed. Hopefully it would fool the bully and allow Yume enough time to cast the one Genjutsu he things could help them through the situation, violence wasn't always the answer but he couldn't forgoe it every time.
How did we end up in this messed up situation? One minute I was heading towards my studies and the next I am fighting something that I couldn't even dream of. It was true, Yume knew little of the outside world, all he knew was that Ikanbi had thought him little, and so did his grandparents, with that he was set out to a world that he perhaps wasn't ready for, but would have to contend with. Surely this was why the orphanage was around, to get these kids ready for the real world.
Words need not exchange, for this was a battle of their wills, or so Yume thought.

After forming a set of hand seals or channeling chakra, the user will force a sum of chakra to his shadow, it will stretch towards the target, if they see the shadow perform this action then the Genjutsu has been triggered, and within the Genjutsu the shadow will expand 10 meters in all directions, making it much harder to spot the real shadow. This Genjutsu lasts for 4 posts.
Yume wasn't done with his training, no, he was just getting started and first order of business was now to cast his own genjutsu, his shadow would hopefully have done enough to distract him enough for Yume to cast a stronger genjutsu, he knew that he didn't fear looking the dreamer in the eyes so it would be perfect to cast the technique. The thought about casting one that made them want to share information with him, he figured since his eyes already cast the power of making people tell him the truth he might as well push it further.
Genjutsu was his mainstay but he was still not sure how he would handle true situations as of yet, with his "Twin" helping, he knew that he would be able to come to grips with the battlefield, he will most likely be able to fight multiple enemies if he played cards right, and who knows, he might find some cool orphans on the way, he wondered if he would be a successful ally to his friends or if he would just be in the way.
Yume grit his teeth as he reached for Slither, the gunblade quickly loaded the first bullet which would be explosive strikes, he was desperate and needed to buy himself some space, he pulled out the weapon while he cast the genjutsu, if Shuichi saw this then he would be cast under his spell, here he would feel more inclined to work with Yume and tell him anything he asked, though this version wasn't all that powerful, it would still assist his eyes.
Yume was simultaneously training his doujutsu to be stronger, for this matchup was intense and he needed to push himself to the absolute if he hoped to stand a chance against the villain that had entered his life, the bully needed to be stopped. He wanted to call on Sensei Ikanbi, but couldn't for the life of him figure out where she had gone.
"Why are you doing this? Why are you attacking us orphans? What did we ever do to you?" Yume prepared to strike as time was of the essence, his chakra pool wasn't the largest and all of this was consuming it with quick haste, he still kept his eyes on Shuichi as he was also trying to perfect the doujutsu.
The craziest part of it all was that there was a part of him that enjoyed this, to get to prove that he wasn't some orphan punk that couldn't defend himself, he enjoyed the idea that he was powerful and could protect those he liked.

During trust training his eyes would work overtime to make sure that his secret Yamanaka powers worked in conjecture with his genjutsu, for once their eyes would look he would send out a piece of his consciousness into Shuichi that would cause his mind to go blank, in hopes of disrupting his combat flow, see, the halfbreed of Yamanaka and Nara had learned in the past that his eyes contained some special powers that allowed him to connect with those he shared eye contact with, unlike the regular Yamanaka techniques, the eyes had other hidden powers such as forcing people to tell him the truth and other various techniques he could pull off that he had yet to discover.
So here he was, ready to cast a new type of jutsu in order to buy himself and his boys some time, for there was no chance they could take on Shuichi without cheating, or rather, it wasn't cheating considering the man before them was several ranks above them when it came to their power levels, in fact, he was probably closer to Ikanbi or Nehan's power level than they were to his, meaning this was a lost cause, but one that the boys had no idea of, for Shuichi appeared to be around 5 to 6 years older than them, which meant little in this world.
There were 14 year olds who took over countries, so who's to say that Shuichi didn't sit on the same knowledge. Looking back on his training he knew that he would perhaps become one of those legendary kids, but he secretly wished for a long-lasting life and generally super child soldiers tended to become arrogant and die off young, or at least that was how he saw it as there weren't that many around. Once their eyes locked he would send a portion of his consciousness within the bully and fight his mind in order to create a blank spot in his mind, for if he couldn't clear up that space then he wouldn't be able to stop his onslaught.
Whether the jutsu worked like intended mattered little, for he had now trained a new jutsu that would help him win the future battles, this was how one did it, one became stronger slowly but surely and filled all the blanks created by their weak build, for Yume knew better than to believe that he was ready for the world. See, no matter how smart a kid was, they either knew they weren't shit or they were arrogant and got to learn the hard way, Yume had no reason to learn things the hard way, in fact he rather do things the smart way and that was make sure you are far too strong then just conquer, but that was a secret he was slowly building up towards.

If it makes contact with the target, then Yume will elicit a debuff of -1 Will Power as they fill a portion of the target's consciousness with blank thought to slow down the target's thought process. This causes -1 Will Power in Yume for the duration of the technique. The target will be unable to clear the blank spot if they have less Will Power than the user's Control
Trigger discipline or not, things were going well, they just needed to make sure that they kept the pressure up on Shuichi or else he would make short work of them, oh how he wished that Ikanbi would return now and put an end to this nightmare, but truth be told, he got a lot of training out of this and besides, this did beat having to study 24/7. As a member of the Avian household, he hadn't seen much action besides that day when he escaped class and met up with Rei and company, so to be able to push back and use some of their training in first hand was great.

Seizing the opportunity, the shadow began channeling chakra throughout its body and began sending out two tendrils towards Shuichi, unlike the other shadow techniques this one would actually harm him if he wasn't careful, not only would the tendrils attempt to shoot up his legs but also pierce his thighs in hopes of holding him down, or at least keep him stationary for Yume to prepare his next attack, which would be from the air, typical Avian style!
I need to make sure that he is stopped before the rest of the crew fall, I won't be able to deal with him on my own and considering that he could stop all my momentum by simply stepping on my toes, I would wager that us wining isn't all that likely, perhaps we can just run out the clock and hope that a teacher comes and scolds this boy for his actions. Yume had a plan, and that was to survive this gauntlet.
But that seemed increasingly harder by the minute as Yume was using up a lot of chakra, and considering that the boy wasn't exactly known for having a massive tank, he knew that he would have to make sure that this fight didn't last long enough for him to run out. One can hope that this bully is not our true enemy, if so then we are all done! Yume shook his head, he couldn't afford to think like this, he could only afford to think about victory, which was ironic because an Avian should always think about tomorrow, this line of thinking was closer to a Lupine but sometimes one gets sorted into a house that fits better with what you need and not what you believe yourself to be.

D-rank Ninjutsu
Yume or his shadow will perform a sequence of hand seals and will hold the final seal, Yume or his shadow will send their shadow out across any surface toward a target at a speed equal to the users [Control] up to 10 meters, aiming to connect with a targets shadow, this shadow will split into two tendrils that will pierce the targets legs and hold them in place at their [Control] = [Strength] and lasts for 3 posts.
With that combo down, all that remained was that Yume got in close and personal with Shuichi and struck the man while he was busy dealing with the overwhelming amount of information overload, the rest of his crew were going to be finished no matter what, for the bird swarm was too much for them to handle, they had been badly bruised by Shuichi's actions but they weren't done with, so he had that going at least, which pleased him. No, now that he fully remembered his trigger discipline and how to choose the right cylinder perfectly he would prepare for his next strike.
Whether or not the shadow had managed to capture him in his bind or not wouldn't matter for Yume was already in the air by that time, his gunblade raised towards the skies as the Avian started descending towards Shuichi, he would swing towards his upper body and would pull the trigger once he was close enough for the explosion to harm him, seeing as this was the first time he ever pulled Triggered, he wasn't ready for the kickback and was sent flying back and landed roughly on Strong and Fast, knocking out fast temporarily.
Yume slid on the ground for a brief second, looked over at fast, checked his pulse and sighed with relief once he noticed that he was still breathing. His "Twin" was fine and dandy as the explosion hadn't touched him, the barrier was busted and Shuichi was nowhere to be seen for now, seeing how creative the man was, Yume was forced to get back on his feet, his sword in hand and smile across his face he readied himself for whatever the man would try to throw at them.
His shadow too was ready to cast another jutsu but seeing as sweat was starting to trickle down his forehead, he knew that his chakra reserves were beginning to run low, so whatever jutsu the shadow had planned, he hoped would be enough to temporarily slow down the fox man. Even a simple tail swipe was enough to cause harm, and I bet that he was holding back by a lot, for if he really wanted me dead then I would've been before I even noticed it. What is his game? Yume couldn't read Shuichi, or at least not yet for his eyes lacked the power to force him to be truthful.
But that would be remedied pretty soon, all he needed was to continue training with Ikanbi and the orphanage and in no time the boy with his team would become unstoppable, but again, first order of business, survive Shuichi. Could this day get any better?

D-Rank Taijutsu Manœuvre
Prerequisite: Gunblade
Yume rushes his opponent, jumps while bringing his sword above his head with all the strength he can muster before finally driving the sword downwards as he falls, he combines his momentum, his strength and the descent of the jump to attempt a cleaving attack at whatever is underneath him.
Even though he had no idea where Shuichi was, he was still ready for whatever, his mind wandered back to the day he first entered Crescent Coalition, how the world appeared to be much larger than he could imagine, for the last thing he truly remembers was that he was by some wall saying goodbye to his grandparents in the dead of night, the rest had been smaller villages and a hand few memories from the orphanages he had spent on his way to his final destination, his mind wandered back to his Nina training and how they used to train against projectiles.
Not that Shuichi was using any currently but his mind still went there, he remembered specifically the beneficiary telling him that out in the real world, people would attempt to take his life, let alone if they found out he had he was special, which yet again he had no clue as to why people would call him that. He remembered that she had told him to always deflect the projectiles away from his body or anybody he wanted to protect, she had seen allies die too often from mistakes made by those wishing to protect them.
So, he mentally put himself there, he distinctly remembered side-stepping and slashing downwards in order to push the projectile away and down from him and those he sought to protect, so that's exactly what he did, he sidestepped from the incoming debris and slashed downwards, pulling the trigger once again to make sure that whatever was flying towards them would be blown to smithereens, this time he planted his feet correctly in hopes of not being kicked off to the side. Fast was waking up which was good, for they still needed as much help as they humanly could get.
His chakra reserve didn't take too much of a hit whenever he pulled the trigger, but he guessed it had to do with the fact that the explosion was compared to an explosive note, he jotted that down in his memory for he knew that when the time came for action he needed to know his equipment from the inside out, there would be no time in a real-life combat scenario for him to go through his inventory and calculate what drew what when it came to his chakra, those times were reserved for special practice such as this very moment.
Come on Ikanbi, where are you? If Nehan-Sensei comes then I am sure she'll just eat the man alive, so hopefully that crazy witch doesn't get involved... Unless she is really needed! Yume prepared for the next part of his onslaught, the endgame!

D-Rank Taijutsu Manœuvre
Prerequisite: Gunblade
Yume uses his sword to deflect the incoming attacks/projectile, where the Yume side steps as they deflect the weapon/projectile away from them. Allowing them to step away or enter the target's guard, Yume uses his speed and angles rather than brute strength to overpower their attack as he uses their momentum against them. This only works if Yume's Speed is equal or higher than the targets Strength.
Yume thought about the training he had already received in the Avian house, and the first training he had gotten was the ability to run in the air, though it did cost a minor bit of chakra, it was no sweat as he knew that it was better that he used everything in his arsenal in order to not fall short of victory, besides, if he lost he would be dead anyway, or that was what he thought at least, so he began to channel chakra to his feet before he pushed off the ground and started bouncing around in the air to make himself a harder target, yes, he was going to make sure that he would at least try everything he could in order to gain as much time as he possibly could.
Fast was already up and ready to strike Shuichi, he wanted to make sure that his speed was good enough, so he boosted it with an additional 5 speed, but that meant that he would be gassed up rather quickly, a fact that Yume knew. "Fast, don't use up all your chakra too quickly, we still have to survive until one of the teachers come by!" Yume warned as he continued to leap about like a maniac. Shit, if Fast is getting desperate then so will Strong! This is not good! These were not their real names but nicknames given to them by yours truly.
A chuckle wanted to escape his breath but the boy was too stressed for that, no, he needed to maintain his focus on Shuichi at all cost, laughing could come later, what mattered the most now was to not perish against this foolish metallic fox-man. What the hell is thing? Yume wasn't sure if this was all an elaborate mental illusion cast by the fox-man or if this was truly reality, where one could apparently turn themselves into thousands of metallic birds, shit out a metallic tree, and even have a tail?
Nehan never told me the world was this crazy! AND SHE IS CRAZY! This time he couldn't contain himself, no matter, the boy continued to bounce around to make himself an impossible target, but knowing Shuichi, he would probably still be able to hit him in the air, a fact that made Yume pissed, he could feel how weak he was and he hated that feeling. Come on Yume! You got this!

A simple Nintaijutsu that allows the user to run in the air as they create small barriers under their feet that are capable of carrying triple their weight, these barriers seize to exist once they lift their foot, this jutsu lasts for as long as the user channels chakra to their feet.
Not only would he continue to leap about but the second he touched the ground he would roll and maintain that speed, he was secretly training Kip-up, a taijutsu discipline the Avian House tried to teach him but he had failed to maintain the speed, but today was going to be different, Yume knew that due to the pressure added to him he would have to make sure that everything worked smoothly. His crew was ready to cast jutsu but everything had gone so fast lately that they were having trouble keeping up, hell, even though Fast was that much faster than he was, even he had trouble keeping up with how fast Yume was progressing, it was almost like battle was the only thing that activated the boy.
A true warrior in the making, that was what Yume had started to realise about himself, heck, perhaps this was why they kept saying that they saw great things in his future? Or perhaps because people had trouble lying around him? No matter, the boy would continue with his aerial leaping. If he could roll in the air then he would do that as well, but the barrier system only worked if their feet pushed so that was out of the picture unfortunately, a sigh rolled from his breath as he continued to push around, Strong was now getting hyped and he too boosted his stats, opting for 5 more strength, which too would gas him out rather quickly.
Damn it! This isn't good! Now that both Fast and Strong have boosted their powers, they will use too much of their mana too quickly! This isn't good! At least Smart and Ninja aren't going all out, at least not yet! Another reason to end this fight as quickly as possible, the only real issue was that his body was starting to have trouble keeping up with his mind, sweat trickled down his forehead and his back was starting to create black spots on his white shirt, he was using too much stamina and mana for his own good!
If Ikanbi or Nehan don't come soon then I will be forced to handle this man on my own! Well... I have my twin still. Yume almost forgot about his "Twin" but that was because he could barely help him in this situation and truth be told, he didn't know if the "Twin" could even be killed, but that didn't mean that Yume wanted to try out that theory, no, he would rather do his best to keep his shadow friend alive in order to make sure that he at least had someone from his past with him, he could not be left alone again, not after everything that had happened.

A simple discipline that allows the user to always stay on their feet, whenever they fall they either roll up with the momentum or bounce back with a kip up. This mindset is maintained for as long as the user keeps the combat philosophy in their mind.
This was it, whether he won or not, he would have pushed himself to his absolute limit, his chakra reserves were running low and all the jumping had drained more chakra than he had expected, his "Twin" wasn't exactly something anyone could carry around as he too stole a lot of mana, in fact, he was probably the biggest thief he knew when it came to zapping his mana, the only other worse thing was using Genjutsu with his doujutsu, that really drew a lot of his chakra.
No matter, the time was now and he was going to act on it no matter what! Yume channeled chakra, and rolled off the ground with his sword held outwards as he mad-dashed towards Shuichi, if he saw this action then a blue magic shadow would shoot out of Yume and kick his hip at [Will] for strength, not enough to harm him but enough to hopefully get him to take a step back, which would be the perfect set up for the following combo. Yume would run up Shuichi, kick off his face, and somersault before bringing his sword down in a massive explosion.
And that was it, that was the last thing Yume remembered before waking up in the nursing room, beside him laid Fast, Strong, Smart, and Ninja, it seemed that they had lost, which was inevitable, but what he didn't know was what had exactly happened, hopefully, someone around would give him an answer or else this mystery would linger in his mind until the true detective within him got out.
"Excuse me... But... Do you know what happened out there?" He would ask the nearest medic for he truly was lost.

Yume starts by forming a series of hand seals, then rushes his target while focusing on a single individual in front of him. If they spot him rush them they’ll trigger the genjutsu, a shadow will rush from Yume and strike at [Will] strength, this attack is aimed towards their hip as its used to set up other attacks. The genjutsu and the effect only lasts for 2 posts.

The user front kicks the targets hip in order to force them to take a step back before they run up their body and leaps off their face. This jutsu is great to set up following attacks and if they manage to overpower them then they can force their targets to eat dirt.
Yume and his "Twin" were creative today, they finally got the chance to show what they were really about and due to circumstances they had to show up. The dream walker would move the second his foot was free but was preoccupied with having to dodge his incoming allies rather than to focus on casting his own spell. This is not good, if I don't capture him soon they'll be knocked out, and I'll be out of chakra. Yume grunted, he wasn't sure what he could do to stop this being for he seemed to be able to cast genjutsu far stronger than he had ever witnessed, this wasn't good.
Yume would land and immediately start working on a new genjutsu to cast, this one would be a bit stronger than the last one but for now his Shadow's genjutsu was what had been completed. Hopefully it would fool the bully and allow Yume enough time to cast the one Genjutsu he things could help them through the situation, violence wasn't always the answer but he couldn't forgoe it every time.
How did we end up in this messed up situation? One minute I was heading towards my studies and the next I am fighting something that I couldn't even dream of. It was true, Yume knew little of the outside world, all he knew was that Ikanbi had thought him little, and so did his grandparents, with that he was set out to a world that he perhaps wasn't ready for, but would have to contend with. Surely this was why the orphanage was around, to get these kids ready for the real world.
Words need not exchange, for this was a battle of their wills, or so Yume thought.

Seizing the opportunity, the shadow began channeling chakra throughout its body and began sending out two tendrils towards Shuichi, unlike the other shadow techniques this one would actually harm him if he wasn't careful, not only would the tendrils attempt to shoot up his legs but also pierce his thighs in hopes of holding him down, or at least keep him stationary for Yume to prepare his next attack, which would be from the air, typical Avian style!
I need to make sure that he is stopped before the rest of the crew fall, I won't be able to deal with him on my own and considering that he could stop all my momentum by simply stepping on my toes, I would wager that us wining isn't all that likely, perhaps we can just run out the clock and hope that a teacher comes and scolds this boy for his actions. Yume had a plan, and that was to survive this gauntlet.
But that seemed increasingly harder by the minute as Yume was using up a lot of chakra, and considering that the boy wasn't exactly known for having a massive tank, he knew that he would have to make sure that this fight didn't last long enough for him to run out. One can hope that this bully is not our true enemy, if so then we are all done! Yume shook his head, he couldn't afford to think like this, he could only afford to think about victory, which was ironic because an Avian should always think about tomorrow, this line of thinking was closer to a Lupine but sometimes one gets sorted into a house that fits better with what you need and not what you believe yourself to be.

Yume or his shadow will perform a sequence of hand seals and will hold the final seal, Yume or his shadow will send their shadow out across any surface toward a target at a speed equal to the users [Control] up to 10 meters, aiming to connect with a targets shadow, this shadow will split into two tendrils that will pierce the targets legs and hold them in place at their [Control] = [Strength] and lasts for 3 posts.
With that combo down, all that remained was that Yume got in close and personal with Shuichi and struck the man while he was busy dealing with the overwhelming amount of information overload, the rest of his crew were going to be finished no matter what, for the bird swarm was too much for them to handle, they had been badly bruised by Shuichi's actions but they weren't done with, so he had that going at least, which pleased him. No, now that he fully remembered his trigger discipline and how to choose the right cylinder perfectly he would prepare for his next strike.
Whether or not the shadow had managed to capture him in his bind or not wouldn't matter for Yume was already in the air by that time, his gunblade raised towards the skies as the Avian started descending towards Shuichi, he would swing towards his upper body and would pull the trigger once he was close enough for the explosion to harm him, seeing as this was the first time he ever pulled Triggered, he wasn't ready for the kickback and was sent flying back and landed roughly on Strong and Fast, knocking out fast temporarily.
Yume slid on the ground for a brief second, looked over at fast, checked his pulse and sighed with relief once he noticed that he was still breathing. His "Twin" was fine and dandy as the explosion hadn't touched him, the barrier was busted and Shuichi was nowhere to be seen for now, seeing how creative the man was, Yume was forced to get back on his feet, his sword in hand and smile across his face he readied himself for whatever the man would try to throw at them.
His shadow too was ready to cast another jutsu but seeing as sweat was starting to trickle down his forehead, he knew that his chakra reserves were beginning to run low, so whatever jutsu the shadow had planned, he hoped would be enough to temporarily slow down the fox man. Even a simple tail swipe was enough to cause harm, and I bet that he was holding back by a lot, for if he really wanted me dead then I would've been before I even noticed it. What is his game? Yume couldn't read Shuichi, or at least not yet for his eyes lacked the power to force him to be truthful.
But that would be remedied pretty soon, all he needed was to continue training with Ikanbi and the orphanage and in no time the boy with his team would become unstoppable, but again, first order of business, survive Shuichi. Could this day get any better?

Yume rushes his opponent, jumps while bringing his sword above his head with all the strength he can muster before finally driving the sword downwards as he falls, he combines his momentum, his strength and the descent of the jump to attempt a cleaving attack at whatever is underneath him.
Even though he had no idea where Shuichi was, he was still ready for whatever, his mind wandered back to the day he first entered Crescent Coalition, how the world appeared to be much larger than he could imagine, for the last thing he truly remembers was that he was by some wall saying goodbye to his grandparents in the dead of night, the rest had been smaller villages and a hand few memories from the orphanages he had spent on his way to his final destination, his mind wandered back to his Nina training and how they used to train against projectiles.
Not that Shuichi was using any currently but his mind still went there, he remembered specifically the beneficiary telling him that out in the real world, people would attempt to take his life, let alone if they found out he had he was special, which yet again he had no clue as to why people would call him that. He remembered that she had told him to always deflect the projectiles away from his body or anybody he wanted to protect, she had seen allies die too often from mistakes made by those wishing to protect them.
So, he mentally put himself there, he distinctly remembered side-stepping and slashing downwards in order to push the projectile away and down from him and those he sought to protect, so that's exactly what he did, he sidestepped from the incoming debris and slashed downwards, pulling the trigger once again to make sure that whatever was flying towards them would be blown to smithereens, this time he planted his feet correctly in hopes of not being kicked off to the side. Fast was waking up which was good, for they still needed as much help as they humanly could get.
His chakra reserve didn't take too much of a hit whenever he pulled the trigger, but he guessed it had to do with the fact that the explosion was compared to an explosive note, he jotted that down in his memory for he knew that when the time came for action he needed to know his equipment from the inside out, there would be no time in a real-life combat scenario for him to go through his inventory and calculate what drew what when it came to his chakra, those times were reserved for special practice such as this very moment.
Come on Ikanbi, where are you? If Nehan-Sensei comes then I am sure she'll just eat the man alive, so hopefully that crazy witch doesn't get involved... Unless she is really needed! Yume prepared for the next part of his onslaught, the endgame!

D-Rank Taijutsu Manœuvre
Prerequisite: Gunblade
Yume uses his sword to deflect the incoming attacks/projectile, where the Yume side steps as they deflect the weapon/projectile away from them. Allowing them to step away or enter the target's guard, Yume uses his speed and angles rather than brute strength to overpower their attack as he uses their momentum against them. This only works if Yume's Speed is equal or higher than the targets Strength.
Yume thought about the training he had already received in the Avian house, and the first training he had gotten was the ability to run in the air, though it did cost a minor bit of chakra, it was no sweat as he knew that it was better that he used everything in his arsenal in order to not fall short of victory, besides, if he lost he would be dead anyway, or that was what he thought at least, so he began to channel chakra to his feet before he pushed off the ground and started bouncing around in the air to make himself a harder target, yes, he was going to make sure that he would at least try everything he could in order to gain as much time as he possibly could.
Fast was already up and ready to strike Shuichi, he wanted to make sure that his speed was good enough, so he boosted it with an additional 5 speed, but that meant that he would be gassed up rather quickly, a fact that Yume knew. "Fast, don't use up all your chakra too quickly, we still have to survive until one of the teachers come by!" Yume warned as he continued to leap about like a maniac. Shit, if Fast is getting desperate then so will Strong! This is not good! These were not their real names but nicknames given to them by yours truly.
A chuckle wanted to escape his breath but the boy was too stressed for that, no, he needed to maintain his focus on Shuichi at all cost, laughing could come later, what mattered the most now was to not perish against this foolish metallic fox-man. What the hell is thing? Yume wasn't sure if this was all an elaborate mental illusion cast by the fox-man or if this was truly reality, where one could apparently turn themselves into thousands of metallic birds, shit out a metallic tree, and even have a tail?
Nehan never told me the world was this crazy! AND SHE IS CRAZY! This time he couldn't contain himself, no matter, the boy continued to bounce around to make himself an impossible target, but knowing Shuichi, he would probably still be able to hit him in the air, a fact that made Yume pissed, he could feel how weak he was and he hated that feeling. Come on Yume! You got this!

A simple Nintaijutsu that allows the user to run in the air as they create small barriers under their feet that are capable of carrying triple their weight, these barriers seize to exist once they lift their foot, this jutsu lasts for as long as the user channels chakra to their feet.
Not only would he continue to leap about but the second he touched the ground he would roll and maintain that speed, he was secretly training Kip-up, a taijutsu discipline the Avian House tried to teach him but he had failed to maintain the speed, but today was going to be different, Yume knew that due to the pressure added to him he would have to make sure that everything worked smoothly. His crew was ready to cast jutsu but everything had gone so fast lately that they were having trouble keeping up, hell, even though Fast was that much faster than he was, even he had trouble keeping up with how fast Yume was progressing, it was almost like battle was the only thing that activated the boy.
A true warrior in the making, that was what Yume had started to realise about himself, heck, perhaps this was why they kept saying that they saw great things in his future? Or perhaps because people had trouble lying around him? No matter, the boy would continue with his aerial leaping. If he could roll in the air then he would do that as well, but the barrier system only worked if their feet pushed so that was out of the picture unfortunately, a sigh rolled from his breath as he continued to push around, Strong was now getting hyped and he too boosted his stats, opting for 5 more strength, which too would gas him out rather quickly.
Damn it! This isn't good! Now that both Fast and Strong have boosted their powers, they will use too much of their mana too quickly! This isn't good! At least Smart and Ninja aren't going all out, at least not yet! Another reason to end this fight as quickly as possible, the only real issue was that his body was starting to have trouble keeping up with his mind, sweat trickled down his forehead and his back was starting to create black spots on his white shirt, he was using too much stamina and mana for his own good!
If Ikanbi or Nehan don't come soon then I will be forced to handle this man on my own! Well... I have my twin still. Yume almost forgot about his "Twin" but that was because he could barely help him in this situation and truth be told, he didn't know if the "Twin" could even be killed, but that didn't mean that Yume wanted to try out that theory, no, he would rather do his best to keep his shadow friend alive in order to make sure that he at least had someone from his past with him, he could not be left alone again, not after everything that had happened.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A simple discipline that allows the user to always stay on their feet, whenever they fall they either roll up with the momentum or bounce back with a kip up. This mindset is maintained for as long as the user keeps the combat philosophy in their mind.
This was it, whether he won or not, he would have pushed himself to his absolute limit, his chakra reserves were running low and all the jumping had drained more chakra than he had expected, his "Twin" wasn't exactly something anyone could carry around as he too stole a lot of mana, in fact, he was probably the biggest thief he knew when it came to zapping his mana, the only other worse thing was using Genjutsu with his doujutsu, that really drew a lot of his chakra.
No matter, the time was now and he was going to act on it no matter what! Yume channeled chakra, and rolled off the ground with his sword held outwards as he mad-dashed towards Shuichi, if he saw this action then a blue magic shadow would shoot out of Yume and kick his hip at [Will] for strength, not enough to harm him but enough to hopefully get him to take a step back, which would be the perfect set up for the following combo. Yume would run up Shuichi, kick off his face, and somersault before bringing his sword down in a massive explosion.
And that was it, that was the last thing Yume remembered before waking up in the nursing room, beside him laid Fast, Strong, Smart, and Ninja, it seemed that they had lost, which was inevitable, but what he didn't know was what had exactly happened, hopefully, someone around would give him an answer or else this mystery would linger in his mind until the true detective within him got out.
"Excuse me... But... Do you know what happened out there?" He would ask the nearest medic for he truly was lost.

The genjutsu and the effect only lasts for 2 posts.

The user front kicks the targets hip in order to force them to take a step back before they run up their body and leaps off their face. This jutsu is great to set up following attacks and if they manage to overpower them then they can force their targets to eat dirt.

For the most part Shuichi was able to evade everything thrown at him by merely breaking his body apart into shards of metal and repositioning himself elsewhere in the room, however, Yume did manage to catch him off guard with an incredibly well timed slashing sword explosion, the sword colliding into Shuichis shoulder and then blasting him backwards through the wall and into the street. His head ringing, he decided that might be enough of torturing the kids for now.
"Ah geez, what a drag. I don't understand why that crazy bitch wanted me to go there anyway." He muttered under his breath, willing shards of metal to recollect into his damaged shoulder and head, slowly piecing himself back together bit by bit before bursting his body into shards anyway and reassembling on a rooftop nearby. He was tired, he wasn't really a fighter, more of a dealer of sorts.
It would be in his best interest to rest up. However, an associate of Ikanbi's had tracked him down.
"Nice work testing the Orphans." They had said to him.
"How would you like a job?"
A little while later, Ikanbi had made her way to the nursing room where she was floating in the air with her legs crossed and meditating next to where Yume and the others lay sleeping peacefully after his skirmish. Yume was the first of them to wake up coincidentally, but Ikanbi didn't notice until Yume spoke up asking the medic. Ikanbi cut the medic off, she had gathered from the other children a story of what had happened.
"Welcome back, Yume." Ikanbi started, "I'm proud to say that your little explosive technique fended off the intruder and although the blast did catch a couple of your friends, no one has been seriously hurt."
"I'm very proud of you."

Yume was confused at first because he was unsure if Ikanbi was really by the window or not, he wasn't sure if she had returned from her trip or if he had hit his head harder than he thought. He looked around to see if he could spot Yami but could only spot a small black cat that sat by the windowsill, the cat had Yami's signature green eyes and with Ikanbi's crown, she would be able to read the twin's mind as he stared at her. Where were you when he needed you the most... Tss. Yami couldn't help but blame her for his misfortunes but the truth was that it was Yume's fault for interfering.
Yume snapped to it when he heard that Ikanbi was proud of him, a gentle blush covered his white cheeks forcing him to look away as he felt too shy. "Oh it was nothing." Yume chuckled, Yami flipped the side his tail was resting on to show that he was amused by the news that Ikanbi had shared with his twin, but he was still uncertain why she was here, Yume on the other hand was just glad that all the fighting was over. "I have been trying to train that move for a while now, but I have to be careful not to trigger it too late, or you know, I can blow the person up and that would just leave a mess." Yume chuckled but struggled to keep the vomit in.
He couldn't help it, the thought of blasting someone to pieces got him squeamish, ironic considering that his weapons as designed to gib people. "Hopefully that bully isn't dead and learned his lesson." Yume looked over at one of his comrades and then back at Ikanbi, he had no if Shuichi was okay or not but from the sounds of it everyone survived, which was the outcome Yume was searching for. With a sigh of relief, the boy slowly leaned back to stare at the roof as he smiled. "How long do you think I get to skip class for?" The boy chuckled as he hoped that this little stint would work.

As the cat-formed Yami thought intensely in Ikanbi's direction, she merely turned her head and mad direct eye contact with them and smiled, "Oh you know, Yami, I'm never too far away." Was all she said on the matter, she figured it would at least give him a start and make him wonder whether or not she had read his mind, after all, Ikanbi having the crown was mostly a secret, even if most people that knew of the crown knew what it did and what it was, she was confident most of the orphans had never heard of the Emperor's treasures, at least not yet.
She let that disturbing idea plant in Yami's head as to whether or not she was a mind reader before turning her focus back on Yume in the bed, uncrossing her legs and floating gently towards him, her feet just a few inches off of the ground as she leaned over his bedside. She put the back of her hand against his forehead.
"Hm. You don't feel to hot, so that's something, but you should make sure to drink plenty of water the next few days."
"Well, ya know, anyone that just picks a fight with a bunch of orphans might be better off dead anyway." Said Ikanbi pointedly, though she only half meant it.
"Then again, I suppose some people can be redeemed."
She floated over to the others, checking in with them and began giving everyone a light snack, a sweet pastry from her backpack. It was an odd treat from Wind Country filled with cream, apples, and a copious amount of cinnamon with just a hint of nutmeg and allspice. After giving strong their snack she finally came back to Yume and Yami, she gave Yume two of the treats and did put one down by the windowsill for Yami even though he was in his cat form.
"So..." Ikanbi began to float slightly higher up into the air and crossed her right leg over her left, leaning backwards as though she were sitting in an invisible chair.
"What have we learned today?"

Yami was certainly unsure if she could read his mind or not, but that mattered little for Yume was alive and well and Ikanbi was back so things were in order, she hadn't abandoned them nor did it seem like she was leaving anytime soon. Yume on the other hand just smiled and accepted the treats, that was until she said that perhaps they deserved to die for harming people, Yume sulked for a second until she turned his frown upside down, like kids usually did when they heard what they wanted. "I believe people can be redeemed, even if they are the lowest of the low. There has to be something inside you know?"
Yume had no idea that those would come to test him in the future, let alone when he found out what had happened to his father, but for now, what was important was thinking back on the lesson he had endured. "That we should always fight for what is right? To believe in ourselves?" Yume wasn't the best student but if anything he was a brave one, with Ikanbi as the Avian teacher he hoped that his progress would go faster, seeing as she was with him before he ever set foot in the Orphanage.
Yami on the other hand began to perform charades, creating a small shadow puppet act that played Ikanbi's journey through the sands, her battle in Wind Country Invasion (the parts she had told them about), her encounter with Nehan (The PG version) then the shadow puppetry turned into a shadowy woman, The beneficiary. Yume cursed under his breath as he pulled the blanket closer, Yami on the other hand stroked the the shadow, unbeknownst to Yume, before the shadow continued the story, of how Ikanbi was given Yume and Yami.
The shadow fast-forwarded through their rigorous training in Crescent Coalition, to how they finally arrived at Sky-Reach, Yami even revealed how they encountered Shuichi and showed parts of their fights (exaggerating his parts of course) to the other kid's amusement, before he finally stopped here at the hospital, revealing a large black cat watching over Yume and the other boys.
The boys applauded Yami who turned 3-dimensional and bowed before once again creeping into Yume's shadow to hide. "That bullying is wrong?" Yami shook his head in disappointment, he couldn't believe that his brother was so wrong about the lesson, hopefully, Ikanbi would correct him soon enough.
