[Orphanage] A new puppeteer

It was a Saturday, thankfully the white-haired youth didn't have any classes today and was left to his own devices as the boy tossed one strap of a brown ruck sack over his left shoulder and exited his assigned room after tidying up a bit. Down a series of winding stair cases and maze like hallways that ran throughout the main building of the Avian house, Ziv finally was able to breach a pair of large arched doors and entire into the bright sunlight outside, having to shield his eyes with his right hand for a bit as the almost glowing blue eyes took a few moments to adjust themselves to the level of sunlight on this rather nice day within Cresent. Here at the schoolhouse, the student really wasn't privy to what was happening in the outside world, but because of the cautious words of his father about potential war on the horizon for his homeland a feeling of heavy, unseen pressure weighted down upon the narrow shoulders of the eleven-year-old. It seemed like one thing after another continued to happen in his life, but he had never been strong enough to deal with even the small things. Always under the shield of his father, but no without it he needed to find the courage and strength within himself to stand up straight and walk forward one step at a time, growing stronger, so that he would step out of the shadow that was his father and into the light as his own entity.

But until he was able to reach such a level of strength, it was best to hide himself away here and train, away from the front lines of conflict those other nations found themselves involved in. Plus, Ziv knew that it was also better for him to hide who he was and his relationship with his father, who's actions had created many enemies for himself, all of which the current youth was unable to even lift a finger against. Yet, he had already steeled his thoughts that one day he'd be the one to deal with all these problems...but today was not that day for the new student who had just finished his assessment exams two days prior. It took around half an hour to walk around, still working on learning his way around the massive campus of the academy, getting a little lost before being directed on to a somewhat isolated training area by a couple upperclassmen. 'Finally." The white-haired kid exhaled a deep breath, finally he'd arrived at one of the six training areas that someone at his rank was afforded the opportunity to train at, the more senior a student at the academy the better training opportunities and areas one was afforded to use. Because it was a Saturday, only a few other stragglers were out and about this morning leaving Ziv the ability to choose an empty practice area that held a couple handful of training dummies and practice logs for weapons practice and body hardening drills.

"The other three are too strong, I can't even wield one of them properly yet. Guess I can only train with Hebīgan for now, I still need to finish fixing Gogyou sometime too." Currently, the boy only had one puppet, one that his father had prepared for him, that he could actually wield. Zao had left the boy four puppets in total, but the other three were so advanced and complex that he didn't even have the strength or control to wield them properly in training, let alone combat, plus they were also known to belong to his father so until he was able to wield their full strength it was easier to just keep them hidden unless it became a scenario that he had to reveal one of them. As far as the last one, Gogyou had once been a puppet body for one of the Spirit Saints injured spirits, but now it was just a shell of its former self but his father had entrusted it to Ziv as a work in progress, a means to slowly hone his own crafting skills and take something that his father had originally created as a young man and make it better. A training tool of sorts, one might say, but he still needed to gather some unique parts for it and the schoolhouse wasn't Suna, so acquiring those items took time and even more importantly ryo. He would need to complete some of the school missions and tasks to earn some more ryo to help finish reconstructing the puppet frame and its original mechanisms. 'One step at a time, always moving forward, not back.'

Some of the last words of the boy's father echoed in his mind briefly, no matter the challenge his father was never afraid and simply put one foot in front of the other in order to challenge it head on, a slight smirk appearing on his face as he thought back to his dad. 'I will become stronger, even stronger than you in your prime, Father.' A silent promise to himself the boy tugged on the strap of the brown ruck, dragging it off of his slender shoulder and reached inside acquiring a single, average looking scroll before setting the bag down at his feet. Taking hold of the open end of the parchment paper, he unrolled it to reveal a puppet storage seal fuuin inside, left by his father as he channel chakra into the seal causing it to glow brightly before a three meter cloud of chakra smoke seemed to explode into existence as he flicked out the fingers of his right hand causing five faint blue chakra threads to rush into the smoke attaching to something large with. A gentle breeze easily blew away the small cloud of white smoke revealing a metallic looking, humanoid figure that looked somewhat like a suit of armor. One that seemed heavily armored as its body slowly went from standing on the ground to levitating into the air about one-to-two feet off the deck as the left hand of Ziv carefully rolled up the open scroll and placed it down upon the ruck sack.

Then with a flick of the left hand five additional chakra threads came to life and swished through the air silently attaching themselves to various points on the large puppet frame. At first the heavy armor seemed to studder to life, its mechanisms inside slowly gaining their fluidity and after about a minute of warming up his fingers and hand gestures, the puppet seemed to have a more life-like movement pattern to it as it slowly brought its hands up into an almost boxer like stance and its body floated down to the point that just the tips of the downward angled boots were just touching the sparce grass and dirt covered field floor. 'What to start testing first...'

It had been a long long time since desu was recruited to work at the orphanage. It felt like months maybe even years and maybe it was? Currently desu wasn’t teaching or other annoying teaching stuff and was currently looking for criminals for her “hobby” she was searching all over town patrolling the area carefully making sure she didn’t miss any one giving her a excuse to turn them in. She would search every single meter of everywhere with in a two hour run of the orphanage assuming she ran back at top speed. She would currently be running at half her top speed while practicing a new technique she had seen her mother use. With the technique she could appear to be almost invisible, this would allow her to move around undetected and without alerting any criminals of her presence.

Because of a certain ability she had learned previously she could detect the heat in someone else’s body when you combine that with her enhanced hearing she was able to detect people from anywhere near her. So if they were doing something very illegal that would normally cause them to be in prison for a long time she would easily be able to find out. But as she searched for what seemed like it could be four hours or more she couldn’t find anyone. This caused her to sigh in disappointment as she reluctantly started to pout in a shady part of the area. Currently invisible from her ability, she was trying to recover some energy.

If she sensed or heard nothing illegal, she would then get up and start to reluctantly run back to the orphanage still using her invisibility technique. Because of that it would still be at half speed, as she ran the whole way there she would be pouting the whole time but would make sure to do it silently like usual to avoid giving away her position.

If there was nothing illegal happening the whole way there also she would stop at the spot where a student seemed to be practicing his puppet skills and sit there still camouflaged watching him out of bored. Maybe if she did something good by monitoring a student and reporting or helping them grow she would get some sort of a reward? Besides it wasn’t like she had anything better to do at the moment so a possibility was better than nothing.

The puppet's flat metallic feet fully touched down on the ground now as the boy's fingers and hands moved almost like he was playing some sort of imaginary instrument causing for the large metal frame and its four long arms to sway from side to side now, each arm coming up from the idle position at each side into what one might consider a boxing stance. With a whip of his right arm to the right and forward the puppet seemed to kick off the ground moving in a forward right angle of movements before the left hand of the puppeteer jerked left causing for the puppet to appear to pivot of the left foot spinning to the right and around one of the target logs before the fingers on the right hand made a small circular motion before the index and middle finger curled downward. In response the two right arms of the puppet cocked back in a haymaker style strike just as the fingers of each hand also curled tightly into clenched fists.

Pushing his own hand out slightly in a modified fist looking gesture the puppet rained down a double fist style attack that landed squarely on the trunk of a man-sized log shifting it slightly in the ground, the thick bark of the log breaking off as a pair of fist sized impressions were left from the power of the puppet. Ziv nodded to himself silently, it seemed that the puppet was finally able to put off a decent among of strength, but ideas and thoughts on ways to improve the movement mechanisms inside of his father's hand-me-down puppet. 'Hebīgan has some strength, I'm sure father left it underdeveloped so I could still wield it easily, unlike those other three.' The white-haired kid kept his thoughts to himself, but he couldn't help but wonder when he'd have enough strength to properly wield even one of his father's original puppets. Basic striking strength, check.

With the impact of the punches the boy whipped back one hand as the hands seemed to move about like a circular dance causing the puppet body to spin around to its left as the right leg cocked up and then up to the side following along with the motion of the body to deliver a spinning round house kick to the upper portion of the log where the head of a normal person would have been. The impact strength appearing equal to that of the punches as the would splinter and a long indent was left in tip of the log, but the attack wasn't finished as both hands of the puppet-nin flipped open as the chakra strings that were attached to the currently tucked wings of the puppet frame moved.

This action caused for them to twist open as he continued the spin of the puppet causing the left wing to slash out with its metal feathers, the edges of the feather like knifes as a series of moderate slash marks appeared across the front of the log. Finishing the rotation the blue-eyed child moved his right hand almost like a snake that was striking at its prey as the right wing twisted around the body unlike a real wing would have been able to do as the tip of the wing was stabbed forward. Sinking about three to four inches into the thick training log like someone stabbing swords into it, Ziv would then rip both hands back as the puppet immediately changed directions flying backwards about five meters from the log that the student had been relentlessly assaulting with his puppet's basic body. "He moves more fluidly now, especially the wings after the last adjustment."

Nehan flew over the entire orphanage as she was enjoying her free time, having heard from Ziv and Yume that there had been bandits that tried to steal Griffin's eggs made her very alert that the Orphanage needed better defenses, Ikanbi had been missing for a short minute so Nehan put herself up to the task, luckily another teacher had saved the kids but that was in the past now, her entire body was glowing in Shizemeru chakra as she was ready to engage with anyone foolish enough to try and when she saw Desu her mind snapped.

She was a bit hasty as she was still new to the teacher role and had yet to be introduced to all the teachers, Nehan would swoop down while Desu was searching for criminals (how ironic) and catch her mid-air, she felt how soft she was, so she didn't utilize all of her strength and seeing that she didn't want to destroy a massive section of the orphanage she made sure to crash into one of the training grounds, Nehan would slide Desu on the ground for a bit before she stopped over her, ready to pummel her if she truly was an intruder.

"And what do you think you are doing!?" Her Shizemeru coating allowed her to punch down nth stat users if they made contact with her fists, not like she needed it but seeing as it didn't hurt to train while you beat someone to a pulp, she figured that it was best to try it. Whether Desu would answer or not, Yume would run up from around the corner as he had seen the action and try his best to stop his teacher from killing Desu. "Wait! That's another teacher Nehan-Sama!" His shadow had already darted next to Desu and covered parts of her body to signal to Nehan that she shouldn't continue the onslaught.

"Huh? What do you mean by a teacher?" Nehan pulled Desu up and dusted her off before she took a deep look into her eyes. "Is this true?" She wasn't sure what to make of it except that she was inches from turning her head into a bloody pulp, not exactly ideal seeing as Nehan had only been assigned to this school the last couple of weeks, in fact, she had been recruited the day before the inauguration and had spent the last couple of days being salty about not being a Lupine so she had barely even spoken to the other teachers. We need to wear insignias or something. The witch nervously chuckled under her breath.

Nehan has mastered the art of being hyper-aware of her surroundings, she can sense any slight change in the atmosphere, any twitch of the muscle, and even the intent a person can have, it also allows the user to feel through any stance that could alter her capacity to inflict damage. This technique allows her to react to any changes in her nearby atmosphere as long as it doesn't exceed their [Speed]. While this jutsu is active Nehan is able to fight targets without the use of mind and nearly act on pure instinct if she so chooses. This field effectively extends her minds eye vision through physical sensation and extends it up to 160 meters, this doesn't mean that if an explosion goes off 50 meters away from Nehan she would feel any pain, but she would be able to envision the explosion in her minds eye.

As Desu saw someone land on her she was surprised they had good enough eye sight to see her camouflaged body, though because of the camouflage she appeared to be a see through shilouette. At first she thought this person was a criminal who managed to get the jump on her and was about to fight back when another teacher she knew came around telling her to avoid attacking. She figured this meant this person Nehan was also a teacher. Hopefully her cover wasn’t blown though to most people it would look like Nehan was yelling to herself or some invisible force. People in the right position with good enough senses or eye sight would be able to see the same thing Nehan saw.

when Nehan asked if it was true she would see the figure nod then say In a quite tone “ I was looking for criminals. Though sadly haven’t found any yet, can I go now before I’m seen and my surveillance is given away and ruined?”

when the topic of insignias came up she would say “]I doubt that would help in this situation since that would’ve been hidden as well to avoid alerting potential criminals.”


She would then wait until she was told she could go if they had more questions she would answer them if not she would leave.
She would then continue her search like before hoping that it wouldn’t be a problem, as she searched she would remember how she got the jump from above and begin working on making a way to fly to avoid that from happening again. She would focus on growing the structure like usual while keeping the camouflage still active. After some effort and practice she would proceed to grow the wings then would manage to begin to learn to fly after fluttering around and jumping in a isolated area she would eventually slowly learn to fly getting better and better the more she practiced. She figured she could monitor a larger area if she checked like this. It would also be easier to return to the orphanage if she needed to. Possibly greatly expanding her search radius, as she continued to search practicing flying in the process.

Eventually if she found nothing she would react like last time getting disappointed and pouting the whole time back until she watched the orphanage student practicing while still hidden by camouflage.

Nehans angel wings expanded further as a small halo began to form over her head, she had gotten a bit excited when she had managed to spot her in the air, but with the idea that she had to pull back and let this one go, the wicked witch of the east felt a sorrow grow, but ultimately knew that it would be for the best. Sky-Reach had been kind to her, she had been fortunate enough to be changed back to a Lupine teacher as she had requested so she was out doing her parameter watch and got a bit over her head.

"You will have better luck finding criminals by the village, I don't think they would be this close, maybe check by the griffon nest?" The wolf teacher crossed her arms as her wings flapped, and her halo started to grow an inch larger. "But if you want help I can tag along, how about you Ziv? Are you down for a special assignment? We are going to clear the camp." A B-level assignment and Ziv was closer to a starter student than he would like to admit, but Nehan was a witch doctor and knew that there wouldn't be much that could stop her from protecting the boy if needed.

No matter what Ziv said she would place her hand on his back and then channel chakra to hold him by placing a small barrier around his chest, she looked over at Desu and then flapped her wings, taking off at great speed to the air before flapping once again to take them soaring through the skies, Ziv's puppet would trail after, giving him ample opportunity to train his puppetry against forces, this training would be temporary for they would stop once they reached the outskirts of the nearest village, Bokku Village, a small Fishermans village that laid next to a steep hill that belongs or used to belong to the Griffon, Nehan was unsure what had happened that day and had yet to ask.

It really didn't interest her as all she could think of was how Griffon eggs would taste? I bet they taste good, mythical. Nehan chuckled, she looked to the side and hoped that Desu would be nearby, she would still be able to spot her with her ultra instincts, hoping that the teacher would help with the training as well. "Look Ziv, I am going to drop you down now." She swooped down and dropped the orphan student before landing next to him, she would normally unstrap her kama and lengthen the handle to make it her scythe, but now she just focused on her right hand and created a black long sword that was materialized by some black goo.

"What's your name sensei?" Nehan would wait for Desu to respond before she continued. "The roads leading to the villages have been targeted lately by a group of bandits, we can split up and take them out if you want but remember, we are not here to kill any civilians, the criminals are the ones we are after. Oh... And not like... Petty thieves. We beat them up." There had to be some lines that should follow, right? Nehan pushed away from the group and started to soar towards her destination, she was going to target a bridge that led to the village. Ziv could follow or continue down the road he had been placed on, it was all good.

She used the cover of the trees to hide herself up on a branch, overlooking the thugs that were hiding along the edges of the bridge. Desu could have followed Nehan as well if she wanted, for the only important part was that they stopped them from harming the villagers, Yume had told Nehan that they had some nice fried fish here and she wanted to try it out.

The metallic guardian angel like puppet, or at least how some might perceive it due to the large metal wings that folded back up on its back now, came to a halt only a few meters in front and to the right of its own. Ziv had his hands in front of him, the ten thin strings of chakra running from the tips of his fingers over onto the various parts on the backside of the puppet. "Wings, check." He spoke aloud with his still tiny voice, checking off the wings as he began to mentally run through the checklist that he'd prepared before leaving this morning of things that he wanted to test out on the puppet after working on it most of the night in order to better understand how to utilize the puppet his father had left him. The first was movement of the puppet and wings, both seemed a bit better from his last test a few days ago when he found some downtime from studying for his future lessons to actually be able to train.

Both the speed and the power of the puppet was okay, not great nor amazing, but still a good start in the boy's mind as he unconsciously looked up as he noted the strength of the wing attacks, both were no on par with the puppet's original strength which was good to, the wings being constructed out a light weight metal still meant they were a little heavy and hard to properly wield for Ziv's current level of chakra control and personal strength. But despite that small issue, the metal feathers themselves were capable to being used not only defensively to shield the puppet or user, but even like knifes for slashing and stabbing with, as one could now see from the different cut and stab marks left on the center most training log from his last rounds of attacks.

"Next, the senbon blaster." The puppet itself had four arms, two on either side, permanently attached to the lower left arm as a type of senbon launcher that his father had dubbed a blaster, because it didn't just first one or a couple of senbon, but blasted out a 'pod' per use of twenty individual senbon in a shotgun style spray at whatever the user was pointing the weapon at. Drawing up his left hand and curling the index finger back the chakra threads attached to the puppet frame moved slightly, causing the lower left arm that had the blaster attached to it to outstretch the arm as he aimed from his perspective and then flicked out the same index finger on his left hand. This action triggered the firing mechanism of the senbon launcher causing it to 'Click' and then twenty senbon simultaneously launched themselves from the tube-like barrel in the direction of the same center log. But as Ziv closely observed the weapons as they flashed across the gap between them and the target, he was already able to tell, just before a handful struck the log, that his own aim had been off slightly to the left allowing almost three quarters of the senbon to completely miss the target as only five hit the left half of the large wooden log. 'Slightly embarrassing, at least no one is here to see when I make silly mistakes like that one.'

At least the boy had once thought that he was alone in the training ground, but it was just at this moment when the white-haired kid was mulling over his bad aim that the sound of something impacting the ground in the neighboring training area fifty or sixty meters to his left startled him. Out of instinct alone he threw both of his hands to the left side of his body causing the chakra threads to whip about and launch the large puppet from off to his left, putting it between whatever the commotion was and himself, it was then that the student was able to make out a figure, a scary figure slowly rising up from the ground with something or someone in her hands. 'It's her!!!" Ziv took a step back, who wouldn't when he understood who it was in front of him again for the second time in only two days, was this really a safe place? What had his father had in mind? Did he know that such a dangerous criminal like Nehan would be here too?

The puppet body almost crumbled to the ground as the brief shock caused him to lose control of his current puppet string technique and for a moment the puppet with now attached strings because just like any other inanimate object. "Crap!" His right hand extended straight out as the finger on the hand did the same as he focused his chakra back through his fingertips causing five threads of chakra to shoot over and attack to the puppet which had half collapsed onto the ground with a metallic series of clangs. Hopefully he didn't attract the attention of that crazy lady, luckily for him it seemed that whomever she had just 'caught' was holding her attention for the moment. "Glad I'm not that dude." From his position he couldn't clearly see or hear what the altercation was about, but he took note of the person who came running around the corner of the nearby structure towards it. "Isn't that Yume?" It seemed that no matter where he had gone the last couple of days, he was constantly running into his 'twin' the fellow white-haired body around his age who was also a part of the same house.

Soon the crazy lady and the other figure who he took note of their appearance were both back on their feet, the latter one leaving as soon as they could, which was perhaps for the best if they knew anything about the woman in front of them. Yet, just when he expected for Nehan to leave the woman stretched out her own set of wings turned to him with her arms crossed. Was she made about something or at him, oh lord! Her words kind of surprised him, a mission, clearing the village. Those all seemed like thing for the upperclassmen to do, not an entry level student like him, even if he did have a head start on the others due to his father and where he had been before this training. He tried to put up a refusal, "I don't think I'm really ready for something like that, Nehan-sama." Replying in a way that made him sound super respectful towards the other house's teacher, hoping that would be enough to allow him to escape this situation.

Sadly, it would seem that her mind was already made up, he couldn't help but inwardly cry 'Why even ask the question if you don't care about the answer?!?!' But he wouldn't dare speak a loud in such a way to the fear of what kind of punishment he might receiver. Without being able to resist at all she appeared and got him by the shoulder for the second time already this year. Ziv and his puppet were dragged into the air, the ground passed by so fast underneath him that its almost made him sick as he had to briefly close his eyes as they traveled across the sky, something the boy had actually dreamed about but somehow his dream hadn't quite been like this one. Shortly after he was dropped down by the woman forcing him to fend for himself as he landed somewhat gracefully but his puppet smashed into the ground feet first with some force, luckily nothing was broken as he looked back over his shoulder at the puppet frame that slowly floated up from the ground. Soon she was speaking about bandits and the like, "Should a new student really be doing this?" Finally, he couldn't help but ask, did he really belong here doing this sort of thing?

After Nehan landed on her while she was in the air she would try to test something else she saw and would focus on her stomach then after a few seconds of figuring it out how to do it and focusing she puked up acid onto Nehan at speed 40 strength 31 but she couldn’t tell how effective it was and it didn’t stop Nehan from slamming her into the ground and dragging her across it. After she hits the ground Desu moans in a sensual lewd manner as she enjoys the feeling of being slammed into the ground and dragged across it.

But then just as Nehan was about to attack again Yume steps in and stops her. it was then that Desu realizes Nehan wasn’t a criminal like she thought and there appears to be a big misunderstanding. They would then talk for a bit and Nehan would mention something very interesting but also very frustrating to Desu. As soon as Nehan told her where the criminals are and that there’s no criminals near here she groaned in annoyance frustrated at the wasted time. She would then sigh reluctantly and say “thanks” she would then pause for a second or so and says “also sorry for spraying you with acid I thought you were a criminal.”

She then stays silent while nehan says the second part to her. Then as soon as she was done talking to her and she sees her leave to go over to Xiv she would quickly take off flying out of there at 20 speed heading straight to the spot that Nehan mentioned. But soon after she started flying towards the destination after reaching the proper altitude she would hear Xiv screaming as Nehan approached her at incredible speeds while dragging him along.

She would then pass her slowing down soon after and then landing with Xiv on a spot near where Desu was heading. Desu then dropped down to still maintaining camouflage and landed next to Nehan and heard her ask a question so would respond. “My name is Desumonsuta but can call me Desu for short,” she would then hear Nehan tell her about the objective and would look on a little surprised hiding her frustration and annoyance behind a look of confusion and would say. “ but aren’t petty thieves criminals too? Why treat them differently than the bandits?” After they finished talking about the legality of the matter. She would watch as Nehan flew off leaving Xiv and her alone, she figured since Xiv wasn’t one of her students and since Nehan was ignoring him it was ok for her to as Well. So she flew off at speed 20 and would take a different path than Nehan since she didn’t want to have to share the criminals she would capture.

Instead of going near the bridge and waiting she would fly around the area in the forest looking for any heat signatures in the surrounding area that were similar to humans. Once she found some, hopefully there launching point or base they were going to use to attack the village. Or at the very least some guards that were on patrol. She would swoop down as silently as she could and try to sneak up on them to attack

Yume watched how Desu spat at Nehan, he could barely tell but from the way the spit continued upwards she had missed her target, but before he could say anything else they seemed to have vanished. "Hey... Aw... Just... Left like that." Yume was shocked that Nehan would take Ziv and not him with her, Desu seemed to be some new teacher that she took an interest in but, being left out hurt his soul. For a second he contemplated getting his hoverboard and going after them but chose to stay behind and train some jutsu instead.

"The difference is that we can use petty thieves as our little spies." Nehan answered Desu then turned to Ziv and chuckled. "No, but I am sure you will manage." Nehan winked at Ziv, she had read up on his file, the one that idiot psychiatrist had written up, Mongo was a special kind of psychiatrist, one that seemed to get everything upside down. He required a lot of patience, so that once in a while he could produce a true nugget.

Meanwhile, Nehan inspected the bandits hiding by the bridge, Ziv's comment had drawn a bit of attention, and would soon see himself surrounded by three bandits if he didn't find a way to either hide or defend himself, Desu would find two stragglers pretending to be wounded and a caravan that was about to be stopped by the muggers, from her vantage point she would be able to watch the event play out and could intervene at any given moment.

Ziv would be given multiple options, run towards where he believed Nehan was, Desu, or figure out a way to get past the situation he was in, this time there would be no other orphans to assist him, Ziv was on assignment where his powers were trusted to be able to keep him alive. Let's see here, if I take out these four then this bridge should be secured, that would leave the other roads pretty much cleared right? Nehan continued to prey on her victims before she lept down and sliced one in half, she had created a makeshift black goo sword, testing the weapon's capabilities.

The Angel weapons can be crafted and shaped the way I imagine... Perhaps I should create special weapons with different capabilities so that when I truly need them they are ready. She nodded, but that would come later. For now, she needed to train how to maintain them and not go overboard, this was long overdue, so the more she continued to push her angel mode, the better she would be at controlling her hidden powers.

She sliced the second one across the skull before he could scream out, both of their bodies fell simultaneously as her halo flew across the bridge and sliced the remaining two soldiers in half. Her wings beat her into the air and above the bridge, allowing her to inspect the situation before she took off toward the south, heading to a large bridge that led to the wharf. Ziv would have this opportunity to stop her or else she would take off and deal with a larger situation.

Desu would now spot that the thieves stopped the caravan and began to mug the driver and passengers, each brandishing a blade that they jutted towards their victims, inching closer and closer as their threats became louder. Who would think that they would be so bold after the Griffin incident? Nehan really should find out what happened that day, perhaps after all of this was over, she would have to ask Ziv to tell her about that day, or Yume.

Desu would respond saying “makes sense I guess “she would then head off to her side of the area when she saw the bandits possibly about to attack a caravan. But they weren’t criminals until they started attacking people so for now she waited for them to make their move. In the meantime she would practice a new idea she had to try and “play” with the criminals she would begin to concentrate envisioning what she had in mind. Eventually using her body to create a larva that she would inspect carefully to see if it can move and function as intended. Sadly the only way for her to know for sure was to test it out.

Thankfully by now people she saw where trying to rob the carriage making them criminal’s so she would quickly fly down at 40 speed the intense speed temporarily disabling her camouflage as it couldn’t keep up. She would then stop right as she reached the criminals and stuck one larva up each of the two criminals noses. At 40 speed. Then after she flew down and stuck the larva in their noses a second or two later the camouflage would activate again.

The larva would begin moving inside the nose canal on there way to the brain at a speed of 8 and would have a strength of 31 and use it to try to use there body to latch on to any available flesh and nerves inside the nose canal as they would proceed to try and eat there way to the brain if it would get them there quicker. There sharp teeth chomping away as the continued regardless of how much pain they were causing the hosts.

Desu would then fly back into the air speed 20 to search for more targets heat signatures. For humans, as well as watching what those heat signatures were doing. During that she was happily listening to the two criminals scream in agony as their bodies contorted on the ground in pain.

After enough time passed the two criminals would be killed by the larva in a painful and agonizing manner then turned into puppets for her to control. She figured she had enough puppets for now, she would then use them as spy’s to gather info and find more criminals. If she couldn’t find any in the surrounding area around her new puppets she would proceed to move closer to the village while her puppets went off and looked in an opposite direction.

Desu can create a fleshy larva no smaller than three inches long and one inch wide with a mouth full of teeth and several small fleshy tendrils it can use for locomotion. This larva can then be placed upon a living creature and immediately start burrowing into their body via a soft spot or existing opening. Once inside it will begin to devour it's host from the inside out. This process is slow and excruciatingly painful as it works its way to the spine and starts burrowing into it. This costs five endurance for the remainder of the thread and has a strength equal to Desu’s. Its effective speed is equal to one fifth Desu’s. Invaded creatures may take any reasonable action that would either destroy the invader or remove it from the body. If they are unable, it will attach itself to the base of the brain and "kill" them at the end of ten posts, raising them as a host. Should this invader not be able to find a living creature it can be reabsorbed within five posts to regain the endurance.

"Manage?" Ziv was truly at a loss of words for this crazy woman who had just flown him into who knows where, presumably one of the nearby villages outside the orphanage, but he was barely getting familiar with the geography of the school let alone anything outside of the school grounds. The youth couldn't help but feel a bit defeated, his head slumping forward for a moment as he exhaled a long, slow breath trying to understand just what the hell was going on here. This was in his mind, the most ridiculous of circumstances he could have been in. A brand-new student, entry level student, was brought out to fight bandits by himself? Just how many bandits could there be that someone as strong as Nehan had come here to deal with them?

Well, it didn't take too long before she literally ditched him and the other one disappeared to leaving the small child here with the metal puppets standing behind him, he hadn't even realized it until he looked up that they had both left him without the slightest hesitation. "Are you kidding me?!" They really had just left the boy high and try as his head snapped to the left and then to the right, even turning around in a full circle as if needing to confirm that he'd been tossed to the wind. Ziv sighed to himself, it wouldn't have been so bad if his friend Yume had been dragged along to, but this was almost a worst-case scenario. Regaining his senses it seemed that the fragile looking youth had already attracted the attention of two, maybe three passersby.

'This is just great!' The next set of thoughts remained just that, words in his head as he attempted to size up the situation, at least his puppet hadn't been damaged on the way over here, but he wasn't here looking to get into a fight. Was there a way to talk his way out of these. Trying to play it cool the youth raised one hand up and the other reached up to the back of his full head of medium length white hair. "Um, hello there. I was just passing through." He slowly took a few steps back placing him closer to the large puppet frame that stood about seven feet or so tall, completely dwarfing the short boy in that moment. The sight of the large puppet behind him was enough to at least cause the trio who had shown some interest, an unwanted interest, to pause for a moment and look at one another. None of them had any experience with puppets so they were a bit taken back and unsure just how to approach the situation.

The two men on the right appeared to be comrades of some sort, the one on the far left speaking up to the other, "He's just a little kid, can he even use that suit of armor?" A bit of provocation towards his comrade in arms, who fell for it not being one of the smartest bandits around, usually relying on his partner to do most of the tougher thinking. "You're right, this kid looks like he's about to piss himself. Haha." He let out a loud laugh and slowly started to approach, meanwhile the third wheel who wasn't with the other two but had some interest in the kid simply stood back and watched to see how things played out. Ziv found himself taking another step back until his back made contact with his own puppet, making him jump slightly until he realized that it was the metal puppet of his. 'Guess I don't have much choice, did she put me in this situation on purpose? Was it because of the incident on the testing day?'

"Alright kid, just hand over that armor and whatever else you have in your pockets and maybe you'll still be able to walk after we're done here." The slightly larger bandit spoke again, seemingly growing braver with each step that he took until he was probably only about five meters away as he stopped and placed both hands on his hips. "Well?" The kids hands trembled slightly but he stared back at the man and reached into his backpack pulling out a second scroll, almost as if he was about to offer it to the man before he let it unfurl at his feet and with a twitch of the same hand's fingers chakra threads rushed into the scroll before a large puff of smoke appear above Ziv's head and from within it a ten meter long winged dragon-like puppet appeared as it swished its tail across in front of its owner smashing into the man who was knocked stumbling backwards. "Heh, not bad. It wouldn't have been any fun if you didn't fight back, kiddo."

Nehan continued to inspect the area, she was taken aback by the fact that she managed to run through these bandits with no sweat, in fact, this had been ample time for her to train her angel weapons, for there was no need for her to go all out. So, for now, she would continue to scout the area, in her mind Desu would stay close to Ziv but if worst came to worst then she was certain that she could revive him if he had managed to get himself killed by these low-life bandits, at most the toughest guy would be around B-Rank but they weren't even here for the moment, the ones they faced off against were D-Ranks at most, perhaps a C-Rank was drizzled between them.

The wicked witch landed on top of the large bridge and peered down at the bandits who were stationed there, they were waiting for someone to rob but weren't expecting Kijo, Nehan of all people to show up. "I see that no one here is worthy of being sacrificed... Just a bunch of low-level criminals." Nehan lept off the railing and down to the bridge, she landed next to the group who were all confused, who was this angelic woman to call them low lives? All but one seemed to be keen on who she was, and it was clear as the man was shaking like a windblown leaf.

"Ah, I see, at least one of you has been studying. How about you help me clear these bozos and I'll make sure that you live. If not, well, I guess you die with the rest of them." The bandit struggled with his decisions, his allies were none the wiser and slapped him to get his attention. "We can't let this bitch tell us what to do, can we!? No, so shape up!" When the bandit turned around after yelling at his comrade, Nehan would be standing right next to him, bloodied by the execution of his allies, it seems that while they were arguing Nehan made short work of their friends and within a second, two new swords appeared inside the bandits before she yanked them out.

Now only one more bridge left, Desu should be done with the main road towards the village while Ziv should... Shit. Nehan's wings blasted her in the air and would take her to Ziv within a couple of seconds, even though she was currently situated a couple of kilometers away. Desu's technique would work flawlessly and she would have the two puppets she desired and within a couple of seconds, she would pick up multiple heat signatures, though it would be hard for her to tell if they were enemies or not as there was still some activity around the village.

Desu would also be able to pick up the heat signatures that surrounded Ziv, she would be able to tell that two more were making their way towards Ziv, one in the air and the other from around the bushes he found himself. Would Desu choose to go after Ziv and save him or focus on her training? Ziv wouldn't exactly be in any true danger unless he fumbled the bag real bad, for all he had to do was make sure that he survived for one more round before at least Nehan would converge on his location, which ironically would be a valuable lesson for him. Nehan might be a scary lady but if she was on your side then you wouldn't have to be afraid, unless she dropped you off in the woods on a special assignment that is.

Ziv was too preoccupied with the trio of low life thugs before him to even consider, at the moment, that another one or two bandits might be coming for him. The dragon puppet maneuvered back around, swirling in a circle after lashing out at the first bandit with its tail before ending up in the air hoving a few meters above the small boy. In the moment he had attacked the left hand moved and the armored puppet moved swifty taking up a defensive position directly to the owner's front between him and the three men as the kid leaped back a couple meters to put more space between him and the three persons of interest. 'I still can bring out the full strength of either puppet yet, do I need to bring out one of dad's?' He mentally tried to contemplate the current situation that he found himself in at the moment, understanding that these guys were certainly not a push over judging by how the stocky one had managed to just be knocked back but not suffer any real injuries from the dragon puppet's tail swipe.

But as he thought about his father's puppets, he knew that he also couldn't fully control them plus there was the part of him that feared bring them out due to the possible unwanted attention they might bring him if one of the frames was connected back to his father. Truly he still needed to stay low-key, especially with his level of strength, or perhaps better said lack of strength. For now, he'd just try to survive, hopefully he wasn't actually left completely on his own by the crazy lady and he still had no idea who or what the other individual was they Nehan had previously man handled except that perhaps they were another teacher. Where they also some strange monsters like the other one? Ziv was beginning to wonder which place was more dangerous, the outside world, or the teachers that operated within the orphanage's houses. Shaking the thought, he found himself back in the present as the third wheel guy still remained at a distance, not looking to act for now, but seeing his 'big brother' knocked back the smaller one drew out a couple machete style blades from his waist sheathes and charged in as both men attacked together this time.

It was time to act! Both of his hands went into motion, each performing actions separate of the other now as he had to focus on controlling not just a single puppet but both puppet frames simultaneously, something he had only done in practice situations against training dummies up to this point. No test like actual combat, he guessed. Of course, it wasn't what he had wanted to test in, but this situation left him no choice. The defense was somewhat sloppy, having never used it in a real-life scenario, but he managed to tie down both for at least the moment. His wooden dragon blocked a double sword strike with its clawed feet, the tail whipping around attempting to counterattack but the fighter ducked under it, retreating back a few meters as he seemed to just be testing the strength of the puppet and how its owner controlled them. Meanwhile, the bigger guy pulled out a pair of brass knuckles looking weapons, slipping them on its fingers as he came in much more like a boxer this time against the metal armored frame. Both exchanged a short series of blows, able to defense himself almost comfortably against the four metallic arms that rained down a series of straight forward punches, nothing an experienced fighter couldn't hold his own against.

Slowly the boy continued to fight back against the duo, yet he felt the pressure creeping up on him as he saw with each attack the puppets were getting pushed back slightly, unable to overpower either of the fighters and he was beginning to realize that he was at a slight advantage. At this rate he wouldn't be able to continue fighting them, should he run?

As she was searching for more heats signatures she would notice a few more far away but would also notice Ziv being attacked. It seemed Nehan was too far away to get there in time because she saw a fast moving heat signature on the way there. She groaned in annoyance but had her puppets go to secure the main roads for her and if possible either work as spies to lead her to more criminals or if they couldn’t do that kill any criminals that didn’t trust them. It would take a A rank perception hearing technique or something like Nehan’s perception technique to even realize the puppets were no longer alive. She would then quickly fly to Xiv location at 40 speed.

While Xiv was struggling to defend himself against the bandits in front of him right as the two other bandits where about to attack him from behind Desu comes flying down at 40 speed grabs there necks and tries practicing a new jutsu she was working on, slamming them into the ground behind Xiv even if the jutsu didn’t work they would most likely be stunned temporarily giving her time to practice her jutsu on the other bandits nearby.

As she continued moving at 40 speed the camouflage couldn’t keep up making her look slightly blurry to those who could perceive her at this speed but to everyone else she would just be a blur of red. She would then move onto the boxer bandit that Xiv was fighting and try the jutsu on him. She would use it on the bandits one at a time until she mastered the jutsu.

Once she mastered it she would slow down to 20 speed as she allowed the camouflage jutsu to catch up. She would then check to see if there were any bandits still standing. If there were none she would check to see if any of the bandits could still move starting with the first to she attacked and then one by one would reach her hand into there backs grabbing there spine and with brute strength would try to squeeze until it cracked.

Then once she was sure all the bandits were paralyzed she would look over Xiv to see if he was ok then say “you seem to be fine please watch to make sure nothing happens to these guys until I’m back also please make sure no one kills them. They shouldn’t be able to move so your safe” she would then immediately after take off and fly high into the sky again to check for more heat signatures. As well as listen to see if anyone needed help.

"Boom!" A powerful force slammed into the ground not too far behind the man forcing him to half turn in order to see over his shoulder what the situation was now as he only caught a glimpse of red created as Desu smashed the two men that he hadn't noticed as of yet that had been slowly creeping up on his blind spot. Even the bandit duo that he was fighting against were startled and jumped back in a defensive formation between the two of them as they, her movements only a blur of red as she shot around Ziv's position and grabbed the larger man, literally man-handling the figure who had been slowly pushing Zao's armored puppet back step by step. Her movement, as perceived by the young kid, was almost like teleportation as she snagged up the man and proceeded to choke slam him like this was some type of WrestleMania match. But this was of great help to the student as he was able to immediately take advantage of the situation for himself as he sent the four-armed armored puppet slamming into the thinner man, now it went from being a two on two to being a two versus one in the white-haired boy's favor. It only took the youth a few moments due to the numerical advantage and the man caught off guard by what had happened to his partner in crime that Ziv was able to knock him unconscious without seriously injuring him.

Which was probably more than one could say for whomever was caught in the hands of Dasu in that moment, the battle that had started ended quickly with the assistance of the teacher from the Orphanage here to help out, but he couldn't help but where the other monster had gotten off to. Not like he wanted to see her right now anyways, but he could have used her help before the arrival of the fellow teacher. The woman spoke to him, and his body stiffened for a moment, but to his surprise she had already taken out any perceived threats around him, this one seemed to at least have some care for his well-being. "Yes, ma'am! Thank you!" His tiny voice spoke out, still slightly high pitched as the kid thanked his savior for coming to his aid, even if he still didn't know who they were exactly yet. He'd be sure once he was able to safely return back to the school grounds that he would ask around to figure out her identity with the school, as a member of the Avian house he hadn't seen her in any of his lessons so she must have belonged to some other house.

Given a direct order the boy went straight to work now, with them all being unable to move, broken physically, or completely unconscious he would use his four-armed puppet to fly around and start to gather them about ten meters away from him in a form of circle where the criminals were placed back-to-back. The task itself wasn't too difficult nor time consuming for the youth as he quickly finished and to cap things off, he used his ten-meter-long dragon puppet to curl its long body around the ground preventing anyone who wanted to fight back or escape from doing so. At least he was alive and not in any crazy danger, at least he believed that for the time being.

What would I have become if never changed my ways? What monster would be loose on the world? A destroyer? Is that all I am Nehan wondered as she soared through the air, if so then why had Jashin sent her here? To protect what? I need to find a worthy sacrifice. She shook her head and wondered if that was the main issue, that she had been neglecting her Jashinist duties.

Nehan was on her way when she spotted what appeared to be a spirit bear family going rampant on a bunch of thugs, They have been bold lately and attacked a bunch of spirit families. Nehan was intrigued by the carnage, as Matanza was starting to get hungry from all the action, but that wasn't going to be her downfall, no, she was going to watch while her angel mode controlled the flow.

Nehan watched as the bears devoured the goons as her inner beast Matanza was slowly fighting for control, she was fortunate that she had managed to obtain the scroll in her old village in Fire Country, or else she would've never learned about Angel Trigger and Matanza would've probably found its way to her and went to town. A chuckle escaped her breath before her mind returned to school.

She kept spawning and destroying the angel weapons as she continued to inspect, she hoped that Ziv would manage for now as she expected Desu to uphold her lower status as a teacher. See, there was a hierarchy, Nehan belonged to 1st Class Teachers (S-Rank), while Desu had not been present in those meetings, meaning that she was likely a 2nd Class Teacher (A-Rank), meaning her job was to make sure that students were safe, while 1st Class was always there to complete the mission first. "Mess with the bear, you get the claw."

Nehan chuckled until it was no longer funny, papa bear seemed to have picked up Ziv's scent and was gunning for him, mamma brown bear took her children and ran deeper into the forest, leaving Nehan to ponder her next move. Interfere with nature and save the boy or? Wait... I am not an Avian anymore. Nehen's wings would flap her ahead of the bear and towards Ziv, he had to be warned.

Meanwhile, Ziv and Desu would decimate the first crew and while Ziv was scouting for more, he and Desu would spot that they had become a hot spot, four more goons would come out of the woodwork. 2 after Ziv, one burly man (25str/end) after his puppet and one smaller one after him (25speed/end), the burly man wore a rusty axe while the smaller one carried two knives. Each gang member wore the same outfit, a black hood and white mask, black pants, and gloves.

The other two were magic casters, former students of the orphanage turned rotten apple, both had an average of 35 control and would each cast a C-Rank elemental jutsu at Desu. One spitting 3 water pellets that would explode and the other a torrent of fireballs that would fly at Desu at 35 Speed, they hoped that their surprise attack would at least damage the magician first and then take out the Fifth Class Student, for they knew how the game worked. "Damn it! She doesn't seem to have a grimoire on her!"

"What? Is she that new?"" Red grunted, both quick to form another set of hand seals.

As Desu waited in the air she was annoyed she couldn’t have fun and had to watch students from another teachers class. It was quite frustrating that the other lady could just ignore her student and she had to watch and keep them safe. But she figured that’s what happens when your stronger then everyone else, it means you can make the rules. So for now she figured she would listen since she was able to do what she wanted to criminals in exchange. Plus very few places offered her the perks this place did, so for now she would put up with a some annoyances.

Though that said she was just told to protect the student meaning as long as she kept him safe she could still use him as bait to lure in potential toys, puppets or maybe even possibly slightly decent opponents. So as she waited high in the air camouflaged her body completely translucent looking making it incredibly difficult to see her this high up in the sky. Eventually she noticed the incoming heat signatures, it seems the bait worked. This caused Desu to start to get excited, so as Desu continued sensing the approaching heat signatures giddily awaiting eagerly to see if she can get more toys.

She started to move towards them to intercept them at 20 speed but it seems they were able to see or sense her. She contemplated dropping the camouflage but had no idea who else would be watching? She also had no idea if anyone else would be able to see her with it on? It was an interesting dilemma to be sure, eventually she decided to keep it on for now just in case. But like usual wouldn’t be shy about using her full speed making the camouflage temporarily fail. She would quickly avoid the attacks going into a controlled fall at 40 speed. As she avoided the attacks and headed straight for the two casters, growing four different tentacles each with spikes on the end, if she managed to reach them.

She would then try to grab the fire users arm while two of the tentacles tried to grab the water users arm, then would violently twist both of them. 15 strength for the fire user 10 strength for the water user, if it came off she knew she had used too much strength and would use less for the next one. Though if all it did was break then she knew she was using just the right amount. Considering there abilities these two might make good puppets, she was definitely really curious about there capabilities and how useful they would be. Though that reminded her of her other two puppets, But first she had to make sure Ziv was doing ok once she confirmed he wasn’t in danger of dying yet. She would then begin to check to see how her puppets were doing. Wondering if they were successfully gathering information as spies?

Though she was checking on her two puppets she made sure to avoid neglecting the two opponents in front of her. She didn’t want to get careless and loose because of that. Plus even if she did survive what would happen to all the toys she collected. As annoying and frustrating as it was she would also occasionally check in on Ziv to make sure he was ok. She couldn’t have him dying after all, so immediately after she was done checking on her puppets she would begin checking in on Ziv again.

For a moment, Ziv really believed that the display of strength from the academy teacher was enough to allow for them to catch a break from these bandits that seemed almost like cock roaches, just crawling out from everywhere. Was this really a safe place? Well, the orphanage probably wasn't decently safe unless one of the other shinobi nations got a wild hair and came to attack the crescent coalition, but would they target a school? At least the boy thought they wouldn't do such a thing but his father's words about how chaotic the world had become once more resonated in his head after his forced visit to this border village near the place he was calling home. With the group of injured and unconscious bandits secured by his dragon puppet the body had caught his breath and now slowly rose to a standing position, standing atop the dragon puppet he was about five meters above the passing bystanders. His brilliant blue eyes looked for his previous savior, whom he still hadn't caught their name, only to find that for some reason another group of people came forth looking for trouble...trouble he really didn't want and if the village wasn't so far away and he knew the way back safely he would have already turned heel and headed back. What a troublesome day that he had just wanted to work a bit on his puppets and rest after a long week of classes and studying. 'I need better friends...'

These bandits didn't look like the others, each of them wore similar clothing that obviously meant they all belonged to the same group or organization, unlike the previous ones who were just low lives looking to make a quick coin on the boy and the others. 'Dangerous...' As a kid, he had felt some danger from the previous guys but had hoped that he'd be aided by Nehan or Dasu, but now things were different, these two that broke off and came towards him were different, a certain pressure radiated off them as they closed in. Their true identity hidden behind the dark hoods and white masks, Ziv had no choice but to leap back creating some distance as the dragon puppet uncoiled from where it had been previously holding the captive bandits. All of them were still too badly injured to be a threat to Ziv at the moment, thankfully from Dasu's handywork, but the same couldn't be said for the new duo.

His fingers began to move now, causing for the larger dragon puppet to swirl around about a meter off the ground to his front right while the armored puppet with four arms leaped back and hovered a few meters off to the left front of the puppeteer. How much longer would his chakra last at the rate he was going through it, he had to use all of his strength and skill for the previous ones and these two seemed even stronger than the other ones. Ziv's eyes closed for a brief moment as he cleared his thoughts, 'You don't know if you don't try...' Both eyes snapped open, a hint of sharpness to them as he was pushed to his limit now and both of his arms moved at the same time but performed different actions. Hebīgan's lower right arm reached down and grabbed the elemental blaster from its secure location on the right hip and lifted it up pointing it directly at the advancing man with the large axe. Inside the barrel of the weapon glowed with a golden lightly with hints of blue inside it before a raw blast of storm chakra was released producing a 5m diameter blast of storm chakra out to 15 meters that would swallow up the man if he didn't move.

On the right shoulder of the puppet was a three-part kunai launder. Each part of the launcher is made up of five "barrels" connected in a circle with the parts forming a triangle before joining together the upon the lower back is a large circular mechanism competes the launcher storing the launchers ammo as it feeds up to the launcher. Inside the circular mechanism is where the additional kunai are stored and loaded into the launchers. With a movement of the left index finger the triple kunai cannon launched two volleys towards the other man with the daggers, each volley (only ten strength) consisting of a group of fifteen kunai as the second was fired a moment later attempting to allow for Ziv to judge the reaction and movement direction of the second target. As this occurred the right hand guided the large serpent like dragon with its six wings directly against the man with the daggers as its tailed whipped by its body like an actual whip snapping at the target's chest attempting to push him and prevent him from moving out of the kunai's direction of fire.

The two magicians leaped in different directions, dodging their respective tentacles as they cast their second jutsu. "Seems that she's a bit more troublesome than expected." Blue finished his set of hand seals along with red. "No worries, we've dealt with worse." Red fired off a wind tornado at 40 speed and 30 strength that was aimed to force her into a stationary position, while Blue cast a water prison tech that he aimed to capture her in as she was trapped within the tornado at 40 strength.

Their combo would work in conjecture, the water explosions and fireballs would force Desu to relocate, and then Red would cast a wind gust to stunt Desu's movement so that Blue could surprise her with the water prison tech. Ziv would be fine for now as Burly was taken down with ease while Fast was a bit harder to deal with, he managed to block all the incoming projectiles, "You are not getting away that easy boy—!" but had to eat the tail whip, sending him flying into the bushes and away from Ziv's sight. He was safe for now.

"Run Ziv!" Nehan landed hard in front of him, her arms and legs were spread apart as she awaited the incoming beast, soon Ziv would hear the thunderous stomps as the spirit bear pummelled Nehan, swift as a shadow the two of them wrestled, the bear bit her shoulder, chomping down on her flesh and nearly caused Matanza to materialize until the Angel of Death forced the monster back, they continued to tussle until Nehan cast the beast aside, she was left with a large gaping wound on her shoulder which would kill any normal man, but she was far from normal.

"Bigger than I thought." Her thoughts were now spoken out loud, she was locked in and had to do what she could to make sure that her comrades got home safely. For some reason she hadn't chosen to use her scythe yet, opting to still train her angel weapons but even now she was unarmed, something was up, had the Avians managed to convince her that life was somehow sacred? Or was it that she felt something for the bear?

If the two magicians managed to capture Desu then Red would channel chakra through the water and add a small barrier around Desu's water prison, for they needed to make sure that they captured someone from the school so they could perhaps trade them for a Grimoire. "Yeah, that will work." Blue fist-bumped Red as they then watched Nehan wrestle a bear. "Wowzers... We better get going." Red assisted in lifting the prison. "Yes sir, no need to tell me twice."

Yume had ran to Hozok and warned him about what had transpired, to his surprise the teacher agreed with him and seemed to go into become frantic, shocking both the dreamer and his shadow. Maybe Ziv shouldn't be pushed so hard? Yume didn't know what to think, to him, Ziv was a good friend, one he could rely on, so if anything, he was sure that he was fine. His shadow on the other hand seemed to think that it would be a better idea if they followed Hozok and at least tried to help their friend. Right. The shadow returned with his hoverboard, meaning that there was only one thing left to do, and that went against what he had said to Warui, which was to not break school grounds again. Damn it... 4 days? Really... Yume hopped on his hoverboard and chuckled, he helped his shadow on then began to slowly follow Hozok through the orphanage, until he bolted out of the perimeter, forcing the dreamer to push his ride faster.

The trapped targets will spin with the sphere and may become nauseated and dizzy from the disorientation. The technique lasts for a total of 4 posts before bursting.

Sweat dripped down from the boy's sharp chin as his eyes observed the bulkier man taking the storm chakra blast head on, which wasn't too difficult for the larger man but then he was struck with a second wave as the storm chakra broke apart into piercing ribbons of storm chakra and impacted him again. This seemed to be enough to take down the first man and his giant axe, at least temporarily as he lay upon the ground battered and bruised, but far from dead, slowly recovering as his axe lay off to the side of him just out of arms reach. But Ziv's bright eyes were most focused on the tall, faster bandit who were identical garb and mask as the other one, his two daggers spinning almost like fans as he easily intercepted each of the kunai volley that had been fired his way, his speed and expertise in wielding the dual blades was an impressive sight to behold as he batted away the final wave of flying knives only to welcome the whip like tail of the dragon puppet. Both blades pushed out in a defensive stance as the tail hit him square on, having underestimated the strength of the slow tail and having to first deal with the kunai barrage he was lifted off his feet from the impact strength. Sending him flying several meters away where he crashed into a series of thick bushes that caused the masked fellow to disappear, at least for the meantime, even Ziv was a bit surprised with the results but his arms were heavy and his chakra pool felt like it was rapidly advancing towards empty at this rate, he'd never been in this type of sustained combat nor under this much mental pressure, also weighting down on him mentally and physically in that moment.

But the youth didn't believe himself safe, how could he be in this nest of villainous bandits that seemed to be crawling out of every crack and crevasse at this point. It was in that moment of pondering that a powerful impact happened directly in front of him, causing the boy to stumble backwards in that moment, had he been attacked by surprise just when he'd let his guard down a little? The sudden impact was enough to cause him to end up on his backside as he lost control of the dragon puppet causing it to fall to the ground with the rattling sound of wood clinking off the hard earth. Ziv's right hand was up in front of him to protect his face and as he peered around the tiny hand, he found the strong back of Nehan, her large wings spread out to each side like some sort of guardian angel, perhaps guardian devil would have been a more accurate wording or thought in this case. "Run?!" The first word out of the Lady of Death's mouth was for him to run. It puzzled the student for a moment but then he could feel the earth starting to rumble under his backside, 'What is coming?' It was then that it clicked, chakra strings formed from the right hand and its finger tips shooting out to take back control of the lifeless dragon puppet to his right side now, if she was telling him to run then whatever was coming potentially was a threat to her, and if that was the case then Ziv would be no more than an ant or flea in front of such a beast. "Yes ma'am!" Finally, he responded with clearer thoughts as he kicked up from the ground and turned an immediate one eighty, pointing him back toward the mountain ridgeline that contained the Sky Reach orphanage.

In his current state and level of strength, he was too weak to be of any assistance to either of the teachers here today, it was truly best for him to depart while all the attention would be on the other two. Shaking his head, he wished he could help in some manner but had to face the reality of the situation, being a measly fifth year student, he was at the bottom of the totem pole no matter how much he stood out in class or outperformed those around him. "To weak..." The two words muttered to himself as he whipped both hands forehead causing the two puppets to flank him on either side, his own speed not impressive to say the least, especially after exerting so much chakra attempting to fight the bandits that seemed to be taking over this village town, he'd have to make a mental note that until he was at least a fourth year he should venture this far from the orphanage without being escorted by a teacher. The rumbling grew louder and louder, even as he pushed toward the other side of the village causing him to glance over his shoulder allowing for his bright blue eyes to see the enormous spirit bear break through a building like it was made out of paper. As he followed the road dipping behind a series of concrete buildings, he was left with the sight of the pair legitimately wrestling with one another, the last snippet was the bear bringing its giant maw down to bite the crazy teacher's shoulder. As he continued to push himself, using his puppets to create space in front and to the sides of him as he moved, Ziv began to wonder if his impression about Nehan wrong despite what his father had spoken of her in his bingo book. From his initial meeting, to now, the fifth-year student wasn't truly sure what he should believe about the lupine teacher, perhaps only time would tell him the honest answer.

Desu would manage to get within 30 meters of them before they started to back up as she began to cast their jutsu. But as they were casting, Desu was rapidly gaining ground on them then when she was within 10 meters of one of them and was reaching towards them with her tentacles. Though as she was getting close to one of them the tornado came down and she had to retract the tentacle and stop. Almost immediately after that she would get trapped in a water prison. She enjoyed the feeling of drowning despite the fact that her body no longer needed oxygen, her body still believed it did, so while it was impossible for Desu to drown in water it would still feel like she was drowning. Though as much as she enjoyed the feeling of drowning she felt it would be boring to just let things go on like this. So tried something new and activated a new idea causing sharp blade looking things made of keratin to come out of her fore arms.

Afterwards they would rapidly begin spinning to form to buzz saws one on each arm, she would then manipulate the flow of adrenaline in her body to boost her strength and the power of her buzz saws giving incredible strength allowing her to effortlessly cut through the water prison. She would then break into a sprint cutting through the tornado bursting through in a dramatic fashion to grab the nearest caster with two of her tentacles and began to squeeze until she heard cracking noises.

She would start at holding them with 20 strength and slowly work her way up to 30 strength or higher until she heard cracking noises of his bones starting to break. While the third tentacle would begin to place a parasite up the trapped criminals nose like she did with the previous two bandits. While that was happening Desu would begin looking for the heat signature of the other person who tried to trap her. While singing what she thought was a catchy song.



As soon as she found the person she would begin running there at top speed, trying to catch them too for her collection. After all having a pair of puppets that worked good together would definitely be nice. Depending on how far away they were if she was able to catch up she would try to grab them too.

Soon after she would notice a loud bang as Nehan appeared she seemed to tell Ziv to run and considering how strong she was she wondered what was coming.

If she had already captured the two mages by that point she would quickly move both of them to be held by 1 tentacles each as she waited for the parasite she put in them to turn them into puppets. Then at 40 speed collect the disabled or unconscious bodies of the other criminals and then run away to make sure Ziv could safely return home. While she carried the bodies of all the bandits she could collect away with her. Once the two ninjutsu users had been turned into puppets and they were a safe distance away from Nehan and what ever was coming. She would let the two mages go to begin their work as spies, while she headed straight back to the orphanage with the other bodies and Ziv so she could use the bandits for her {hobby}.

It’s been awhile since she had so many toys to play with, she was looking forward to when she could begin playing with all of them though may have to turn some into food depending on how much she has so far

Desu can create a fleshy larva no smaller than three inches long and one inch wide with a mouth full of teeth and several small fleshy tendrils it can use for locomotion. Once inside it will begin to devour it's host from the inside out. This process is slow and excruciatingly painful as it works its way to the spine and starts burrowing into it. This costs five endurance for the remainder of the thread and has a strength equal to Desu’s. Its effective speed is equal to one fifth Desu’s. Invaded creatures may take any reasonable action that would either destroy the invader or remove it from the body. If they are unable, it will attach itself to the base of the brain and "kill" them at the end of ten posts, raising them as a host. Should this invader not be able to find a living creature it can be reabsorbed within five posts to regain the endurance.

Through the bushes, down the slope, ahead of the curve, up the branch, and down to the ground again, the teacher was zooming through the forest, racing against the clock to come to his student's rescue, he had been on their trail the second he heard about the random assignment. Hozok knew better than to question a First Class Teacher but couldn't help but wonder if Ziv was truly ready for a B-Class assignment out of the gate, sure, he had managed the aptitude test fine without the Avian technique and survived a Griffin attack but that didn't mean that he should be continuously brought on these dangerous missions, No, I have to get my student back. Hozok felt it in his bones, something was about to go down.

Nehan punched the bear then tossed him over her head once again, she slammed it to the ground before delivering yet another punch, hoping to knock him out to no avail. "Damn it, I need..." Nehan looked around and spotted that Ziv had left, Desu was a bit away from fighting two magicians, she appeared to have cleared her water prison and claimed the life of a blue wizard, the red one seemed to be fleeing while Ziv, on the other hand, seems to be haunted by the enemies he had failed to finish, the skinny fast one would tackle Ziv before the burly man tied him down.

"Come on, let's go!" The burly man carried Ziv and disappeared in the bushes, "Not on my watch!" Nehan tossed a kunai that ate the skinny one's left leg and left a small crater by his side. His screams for pain got the bear to panic, Nehan now focused on Ziv's life pushed her wings to flap her in the air to fly after the big guy but was stopped midair by a massive chomp on her right thigh. Damn it! She elbowed the bear and was allowed the space to turn around, only to have the bear try to maul her upper body. "I'M TRYING NOT TO KILL YOU!" She pushed the bear off and punched him yet again before she pushed herself back in the air.

Desu would now have the possibility to either go after the Red wizard or assist Nehan in either helping her with the bear or going after Ziv's captives, although if she took too long Hozok would reach the spot and witness the wounded bandit that was screaming for help. No matter if the bear situation was handled or not he would trust that Nehan would be able to deal with it. "Where's Ziv? Do you happen to know where a white-haired boy has gone?"

"I'll never tell you." The man cried out.

"Trust me, you will rather want to tell than be killed and revived for her religious reasons, or become one of her puppets." Hozok nodded at Nehan who was still fighting the bear, he inspected her remarkable healing factor and then towards Desu who had the ability to take over other bodies, which both fascinated him and scared him. "Trust me, at least I'll let you live." Hozok looked back at him, giving him one chance to tell the truth or else he would force it out of him with Genjutsu.

Desu was about to go after Red wizard also but then she saw Ziv getting kidnapped by the two this made her mad they were interrupting her play time with red wizard. She loved chasing people down, but sadly can’t do that now because of them. She groaned in frustration and quickly let go of blue wizard who was now a puppet and went to gather the unconscious or paralyzed bodies of previous bandits that attacked. She would then run over to Hozok drop the camouflage showing her blood stained back from where Nehan dragged her across the ground. Though besides the part that was dragged by Nehan everything else looked fine. She would then say to the criminal “you have 4 seconds to start talking or become a puppet and then do the talking.”

She would then create a parasite from her flesh and show him it, If he didn’t talk before the 4th second she would turn him into a puppet.
if he did talk she would leave the bodies with blue wizard puppet who would tie up the man. Either way whether he was a puppet or had free will she would leave once he started talking saying something quickly to Hozok. “I’m going after Ziv once you learn everything you can from him you can catch up.” She would then look around for Heat signatures as well as listen for heart beats nearby.

If Desu discovered Yume Soon after discovering Yume Desu would stand angerly over him saying “do I have to tie you up and have my puppets take you back or are you willing to go back on your own?” She didn’t really have much time to be spending here so had to make this fast. She didn’t have time to listen for anything except yes or some facsimile of it if Yume didn’t choose his words carefully and immediately give a extremely good reason why he should stay or said anything except he would be willing to go back. Desu would groan with frustration and quickly try to tie him up and have blue wizard puppet get him safely back to her orphanage, while using its ninjutsu to somehow bring the bodies back to her room. Though the priority would clearly be on getting Yume safely to the orphanage.

Immediately after she would try to chase after the man who took Ziv flying high into the air and reactivate the camouflage once she reached her desired height. After that she would searching for any fast moving heat signatures. As well as any suspicious looking heat signatures. In addition to that she would be listening to any sounds that could give away Ziv’s location. It wasn’t even a minute yet since Ziv was taken and the other guy fell down being left behind. Meaning they wouldn’t have time for the majority of the methods you would need to hide your heat signatures. Leaving very few ways to hide there body heat. Plus if you had an elevated heart rate from being scared or panicking that would help her also and increase your body temperature.

If Desu couldn’t find any sounds or signs of noises from Ziv or the bandit she would try listening through the ears of her puppets to see if they have heard anything. She hoped that the first two puppets were at least worth all the effort she took.

If the man was cooperative after he was done giving all the info Hozok wanted the blue wizard puppet would quickly take him and the other paralyzed bodies and unconscious bodies to the orphanage. Sending the bodies to Desu room and the man to jail.

Desu can create a fleshy larva no smaller than three inches long and one inch wide with a mouth full of teeth and several small fleshy tendrils it can use for locomotion. This larva can then be placed upon a living creature and immediately start burrowing into their body via a soft spot or existing opening. Once inside it will begin to devour it's host from the inside out. This process is slow and excruciatingly painful as it works its way to the spine and starts burrowing into it. This costs five endurance for the remainder of the thread and has a strength equal to Desu’s. Its effective speed is equal to one fifth Desu’s. Invaded creatures may take any reasonable action that would either destroy the invader or remove it from the body. If they are unable, it will attach itself to the base of the brain and "kill" them at the end of ten posts, raising them as a host. Should this invader not be able to find a living creature it can be reabsorbed within five posts to regain the endurance.

The host grows two bat-like wings each roughly as long as they are at full extension. The wings are fully flight capable but must follow flight rules. However, they are also capable of ripping the webbing between them and moving each "finger" individually from each other. These pits are a new sensory organ for detecting heat within a forty meter radius around themselves. They can detect any heat and its intensity similar to a serpent. The parasite can change their host's surface tone and texture while moving so long as the host is able to perceive their surroundings. This camouflage is as flawless as it can be, copying the surrounding colors and textures on the body nearly perfectly. The host can move and retain this masking but they would be limited to [Speed]/2 to keep it "flawless". The movement could be detected naturally without specific skills and this does nothing to mitigate sound produced. Should the host move faster than [Speed]/2 this will not work, requiring an "update".

Ziv thought he was home free but neglected to his backside as he ran away, just before he was able to duck behind the first set of buildings, he felt a presence directly behind him and as he turned hoping that Nehan or Desu was following him on his escape from the village area he only found a white mask. "Crap!" He could barely squeak out a word as he attempted to block with the longer dragon puppet body, but the man was faster than him and slid underneath the tail strike that he'd been on the receiving end only a few minutes earlier. In the next moment before he could attempt to use his other puppet to block the bandit's path, he found himself tackled hard to the ground, his head bouncing off the ground causing for him to temporarily lose consciousness in that moment as the world went black.

The youth had no idea how long he'd been out but when he started to come around a splitting headache revealed itself to him as he moaned lightly, trying to move his body only to find himself tightly bound and his body bouncing up and down on the shoulder of the large man from before. These older two bandits who hid their appearance had easily overpowered the exhausted fifth year student and were making a get away with him. At this point the boy was just trying to stay conscious and was unable to even draw on his chakra pool to put up a fight from his tied-up position. For now, all he could do was hope that one of the teachers there had seen what had happened and would come to his rescue...
