First Order of Business: War!

Chikara had not been released from his prison sentence for longer than a couple of months before things started to grow hectic again, he had been left outside of most important meetings, Blackpoint, and even the capital while Chie and Wakana worked through his mind and body in order to find out if they had placed any secret fuuins on him or Yasu.

Whatever they found on him would've been removed but fortunate for them it was just words and actions that had set Chikara towards a depressive point, how could he ever feel like he was doing good when he was a problem for his own village? Those were the thoughts that swirled in his head until Chie and Wakana finally told him that they couldn't find any traces of him being tagged, which was perfect but in order to make sure for certain he allowed Ichiro to truly inspect him, any old scar was opened to be checked if they had placed a new seal within him and once that check was clear Chikara knew what to do.

His scar was a constant reminder of the action taken by Fanho and Taiga, that they ambushed Enzaragi and proceeded with their actions, this meant that there was only one course of action, and that was to abide their time to strike when the iron was hot, Chikara was pissed and figured out a way they could both hurt Konoha and perhaps gain an alliance, they would have to see how the invasion went.

For months they listened and followed Fanho's verbal threat, they were to not invade any other villages, they were to get information on Konoha's lost prince, they were supposed to fight for what was right and they were supposed to be under the thumb of Konoha for the foreseeable future. All this made the Nara wish that he had died on the battlefield, he secretly knew that things would've been easier for the CC if things had gone that way but now that he was back and Enzaragi was chipper again, he knew that there was only one way out of their eternal imprisonment and that was by following the will of the people.

"We can no longer stand by idly while the world moves on! We were ordered by outsiders to stay within our borders while they declared war on our neighbors! If Iwagakure loses to Suna and Konoha then what is stopping Suna from going back to expanding? What's stopping them from attacking us one day? No, no... Especially not when they killed me once." Chikara turned his back towards Chie.

"But if we go to war with Suna and Konoha then what's stopping Fanho from just coming here and destroying everything we have built?" Chie cried out, she wasn't sure if Chikara was taking the right actions and desperately wanted to stop all the unnecessary deaths.

"What's stopping them from just turning on us any day? This Kage might grant us freedom but what if the next doesn't? We either break away from our own, to gain our freedom or we will forever have to be under their thumb." Chie's head fell as he finished speaking, she knew that he was right but war couldn't be the answer. "Besides, I am sure that if we come to aid Iwa for a third time then they would gladly see us as allies."

Chikara knew that Konoha in the grand scheme of things would've been a better ally due to their shared past but because of Suna's expansion and the border wars there was no way that they could become allies, especially not under the threat of being annihilated, which was a shame as Chikara personally had no problems with Fanho prior to the war, nor with Takeo or any of the Konoha nins of the past but, he couldn't let his past dictate his future, the Coalitions future, no, as the Shadowkage he had to figure out what was best for their country and seeing as he had already managed to convince the Hibitokage there was no reason for talks anymore.

He turned towards the war table and placed a rook on top of Konoha. "Send a raven to Iwagakure, we are going to war with Konoha, even if live to regret it, at least we fought for our freedom."

Wakana grinned as she nodded, ever since her throat was crushed she had been itching to get her revenge, one way or another.
