Bashita Garden
phpBB [video]

The Hibitokage wasn't used to training in broad daylight in the middle of a city, especially not one he had built with his bare hands, the Nara focused on what was ahead, a massive army training in various styles, a flurry of confusion and an awkward dance in the center of the Garden, their training center. A grin grew on the sly fox's face as he pushed past his vast army, who would've thought, five years ago he had just met Enzaragi and now they stood standing deep inside a village they had created.

Shiryoku flew over the hidden village, spotting every single soldier who trained in meticulous detail, drawing chakra and allowing him to train his pool, he knew that if he learned how best to push it and still maintain it then he could expand its capacity. I have long forgone training my Chakra pool and now is the time, for if I fail this mission then Crescent Coalition stands to be in jeopardy. He didn't want to think about what could happen, instead, his Shogo allowed him to see what would and that was that he would succeed in what was originally planned and survive.

War wouldn't be over because of that, no no, this was just the beginning. Chikara drew two shadows and captured two foes before he continued to press out three more from Slither, he needed to focus on maintaining himself and reach the edges of his chakra pool in order to teach his body, mind, and soul that he was stronger than he thought, he needed to train.

He wanted to speak. but he had no words, he wanted to celebrate but he had to train, just because he had reached one step it didn't mean that the fight was over, no. He was prepping for a suicide mission, one that could cost their entire operation for the benefit of being able to stabilize their own region, a future where they could be free. They had kept to their promise and held to themselves for the longest while, defending against invading armies and removing bandits who raided homes in Juu no Kuni precisely as agreed upon but when Konoha turned around and declared war on Iwa, they knew that things needed to change.

Chikara and CO knew that if Iwa fell then they would forever be under the thumb of Fanho, the man who told them when to speak, when to dance, when to roam, and when to perform. The Nara knew that he wasn't ready to face him head-on, not without a backup plan, nor did he believe that they would truly succeed in invading Konoha but hoped to force them to focus on defending their home and allow their allies to stand.

Crescent Coalition banked on the Iwagakure agreeing on not disturbing their grounds and that if one day they needed assistance then they would come to their aid just as they came to theirs. Chikara didn't believe that Fanho would ever come to their assistance if they ever needed their help so it was safer to bank on Tatsuo, they were closer and if they did manage to sway the war then this would've been the third time they assisted them, showing them where their loyalty stood, they too believed in a new world.

His susano'o had been active during his long walk downwards, same with his Bijon eye, drawing chakra slowly but surely. Enzaragi was busy training while he drew as much chakra as possible in the short term, he wanted to see how hard he could push himself within five minutes before taking a moment to relax. "Can you believe this all started because you asked me if I heard the word of Jashin? Crazy" Chikara would never admit it but maybe there was something to this guy, maybe there was a God after all?

He shrugged as he released the soldiers and cast a poison genjutsu, leaping into the air and performing a backflip as he cast another kunai, this one had a bell and a flash attached to it, once it activated the genjutsu would daze the soldiers, and give the susano'od ninja the ability to run through the legionnaires. They used wooden swords during practice as they didn't want to kill their comrades, but still chose to attack with force as war wasn't fair, it was only numbers and tactics. Strength cared little for feelings and one must detach from their feelings like one's shadow.

Chikara looked to the left and spotted how his shadow waved at him, he let a sigh out of his breath as he facepalmed, How did this happen again? Chikara hated to admit the fact that he started to believe in higher powers, for he had never believed the day his shadow would separate from his body, nor did he believe the day it would be able to cast the same jutsu as him. He had rumors of a warrior with the same ability, which made him wonder how the situation would fare if they met each other on the battlefield.

851/800 2 Chakra Pool

Chikara looked over his army before his eyes returned to Enzaragi, he looked down at his shadow and clicked his tongue as he realized that he could train a jutsu that would help him take charge of various situations, the Tsukikage was one of the fastest people he had ever witnessed and therefor believed that with his help he could stop anyone who dared stand in their way towards freedom, a chuckle escaped his breath as he leaned forwards. "How about a game of tag brother?" Chikara tilted his head towards the army.

"How many of them do you think you can tag before they xnotice that you have touched them? 25? 40? 75?" Chikara spiced Enzaragi's ego, he wanted to connect with his shadow and see how many people he could capture. He smiled as he formed the set of hand seals needed to bond with his partner and snare his enemies. The main focus was to not impede Enzaragi and capture his foes, a task that seemed easier said than done when the action came to fruition. No matter how fast he thought he was, Enzaragi was somehow always faster.

It didn't matter if he played along with his game or not, for his shadow would attach to him when they spoke and any action he took now would lead Chikara to be able to connect with that person, extending his reach and leaving him open to not focus on targeting said enemies. The eagle flew over and inspected the battlefield, capturing Enzaragi's actions and any other SOF member who came here to train for the big day.

His heart sank as he thought about what could happen but began to beat once again as Ichiro's face appeared within his mind's eyes. The dream can live on, we are not Crescent, we are part of Crescent. The country was no longer a dream, it was a reality and proving that the people could truly hold power. Bold to think like that when you are about to invade your old home country ey buddy? Chikara shook his head as he continuously felt how his shadow connected to the grunts training.

Tic, tac, toe, Enzaragi makes sure you got to go, don't stop the flow, if you got it then fo'sho, Sly Force trap all the haters no joke. Chikara shook his head, that bas a bad freestyle, he was glad that he didn't perform that out loud as he felt that he wouldn't be able to stand behind his voice, his confidence would falter and the army would notice it, Sly Force had a reputation to think about.

439/400

~Eiketsu • Tic, Tac, Toe
B-Rank Ninjutsu
Chikara begins by forming a set of hand seals and letting his shadow attach itself to one of his allies, his shadow will follow his ally for the next five posts and attach itself to a connected target, the shadow will hold them at the Strength of [Control] and can capture up to three targets at this level. The jutsu can be sustained for 6 posts before the shadow returns back to him.

Chikara wasn't the only pillar of the Cresent Coalition that had found themselves in the main city of the tri-nation union at this time of the day, no from inside the tenth story of a rather simple looking office building in a room that had a single window which faced to the south sat a rugged looking man with a scarred face and tussled looking raven hair. Currently he was slouched back in an office chair with his scuffed up black leather boots kicked up on the table as his ocean blue eyes simply stared out across the other parts of the city from his high vantage point being on the top floor of one of the tallest buildings with the city, currently. Kemuri looked over on the desk as his ash tray was filled nearly to the point that it was spilling over with ash and left over cigarette butts, one half used stick was still slowly burning as a single tendril of smoke swirled casually up into the dimly lit room. The man himself was contemplating the new of the future movement and mobilization of the nation for the first true time since its establishment right after the last great war which had allowed for the pillars of the missing-nin organization he had long been a part of to step up on the big stage and during the squabbling of the big five countries use this time of uncertainty and destabilization to form their own nation. But they had no true neighboring ties with the two great shinobi nations to the south and east, luckily, they had at least been able to form a friendly tie with the Earth Nation who had been on the march ever since the great war, slowly expanding their own territory to the point that it was beginning to look like another war between the shinobi nations was just on the horizon.

If Iwa was to truly push against Suna, then without a doubt the Konoha shinobi would take that opportunity to also act, allowing for themselves to one strike at their greatest foe and two protect their long-standing ally in Suna. Killing two birds with one stone some might say. Kemuri knew well enough from his time spent with the members that made up the pillars of this new coalition of nations that if this did happen it would be their duty as ally of Iwa to also join this war, most likely against the nation of Fire in order to disrupt their efforts against Iwa. Most would begin to worry at this point but instead the old man couldn't help but smile as he reached out taking the half-burnt cancer stick into his fingertips before it quickly was placed between his thin lips, allowing for the smoker to take a large inhale. Enjoying the feeling of the hot smoke as it circulated through his lung for a few moments before exhaling it slowly after tilting his head back to look up at the dark ceiling about him, like a fountain as the smoke escaped his mouth now. "Seems I've been lurking in the shadows long enough of these past few years, seems I should repay my debts to my comrades here and I also have some debts that need to be repaid to my old homeland as well....kek." A mocking laugh exited the man's slightly parted lips as a few more wisps of smoke accompanied them, the fingertips of the right hand reached up and gently ran across the long scars on his face and the one that crossed both his lips, a reminder of the ANBU ambush that he'd escaped but the one that his former partner Yato didn't as they were forced to flee in separate directions in hopes that at least one of them would survive that incursion. "My old friend, I'll ensure that I return what is owed this time around. "

It was then that the man removed the finger tips from his scarred face and lifted the hand high into the air allowing the palm to point upwards at the ceiling above him and at that moment a gentle humming sound could be heard just faintly as tiny beetles well known in the Aburame clan of Konoha by the name of Bikōchū began to spill out from the sleeve of the ragged leather jacket quickly filling the space of the thirty foot room before with another motion of the hand the flying insect pushed the windows of the room open and like a dark cloud escaped the lonely room leaving only a few insects that were on their master's hand inside as the others seemed to disperse in every direction. It was at this point that the man's hands came together forming a few hand seals that were unique to his old clan and both of the tired eyes closed for him to concentrate. The Bikōchū swarm had divided itself into eight separate groups (five sync worth each) and were using their chakra sensory ability to look for a handful of people...people of strength within the city. With his eyes closed the man was able to swap back and forth between the different groups of beetles as they looked like tiny black clouds floating over the cityscape, it was almost overwhelming as the amount of chakra signatures that were scanned by the swarms as the number of people within the limits of the main city continued to grow every day after life had stabilized, to an extent, within the union of nations under the Cresent flag. "I wonder if any of them are in the city at the moment..." To the man's surprise the beetles were communicating that there were several individuals within the ranks of soldiers that were approaching a formidable level of strength, at least when one was to gage them by their chakra levels, for them not to be a true nation of shinobi like the great five that was saying something. But that by no means meant that the Cresent coalition could truly stand up against one of the big five, but it didn't mean they would allow for any of them, especially Konoha to push them around if push came to shove.

Even with the vast speed of the tiny insects that outstripped the speed of most shinobi it still look around an hour of scouring to find someone with truly formidable chakra levels, a level that far above that of normal soldiers or shinobi, upon this notification from the swarm the man transferred his vision to that of a shadow user who was using the soldiers of the city guard as mere training puppets like one might use a training log or training dummy. "So, there is one of them. Wonder where the others are at..." Though he did wonder about the others he was satisfied with finding Chikara, someone who's skills complimented his own skill in the usage of his swarms. "Allow for me to pay a visit, return..." The words seemed to be said aloud to no one but himself within the large, empty room but as though the swarms throughout the village could hear the order all, including the one that found the Nara training, quickly began to return as the man took the new cigarette out of his mouth and put out the ember glowing at the end in the tray before placing the half burnt tobacco stick back into the cardboard pack. "Waste not, want not...heh." With a slightly laugh to himself Kemuri proceeded to rise from the chair and then walk forwards towards the open windows as he placed his right foot up onto the window seal and stared out once more at the great city below him before without any warning, he leaped forwards and out of the tenth story window pushing his body high into the air to the point where he seemed to almost be floating. Just as quickly as he felt the almost weightless sensation gravity kicked back in and he began to fall but it was only for about ten to fifteen meters before a dark cloud assembled beneath his own feet feeling the leather boots sink into the soft mess of insects. Only enough to form a five-meter platform was utilized as the remainder hid themselves once more within the clothing and both of the older man.

The living nimbus cloud then shot forward in the direction that the Hibitokage had been training with the soldiers, the brisk winds caused for the man's hair to be swept back out of his face as the rough beard of the missing-nin became fully visible on his scarred face now, his clothing whipped back and forth as he shot across the sky of the main city. It seemed to only take a few minutes to traverse from one end of the city to the other, which seemed almost ridiculous, but few had ever seen the true power the man wielded with his swarms. At least, it might have been better stated that those who had experienced their fully might were almost all dead. In a short span of time he would arrive nearly a hundred meters above the younger shinobi as a faint smile hang on the ugly lips of the Aburame's face at the moment as he took out a single kunai and with a flick of his left hand sent it careening down towards the Nara from an angle above the left shoulder that was positioned to strike the man at a downward angle in the side of the neck. "Kek..." Kemuri couldn't help to giggle quietly to himself at his provoking nature towards the Hibitokage at the moment, excited to see his reaction.

Chikara felt how his chakra pool drained from capturing so many people as he was forced to continuously capture enemies, forming the set of hand seals over and over, his susano'o barriers were acting wild, dancing with fury as he cast the Jutsu over and over, capturing more and more soldiers. Chikara's easygoing nature had changed from relaxed to a serious demeanor, Enzaragi's quips and cockiness didn't help the near middle-aged man get a better grip on the situation. This kid is fucking unstoppable in the right situations. Chikara started to notice their men reacting to not being able to move.

He grinned as he continued to peer over the battlefield, Shiryoku painted a beautiful shadow tree that Enzaragi had drawn, impressing the Nara as he didn't really expect his Kage to notice that he had captured him as well, perhaps his speed was so great that even Chikara's moves seemed to move in a slower speed. Tsck, not even since day one has he let me have the upper hand, except when it comes to Genjutsu. Chikara knew that his ninjutsu skills were above his but the fact that he moved so fast that he would trouble even him was impressive.

There was a reason why he had been chosen as the Kage and it wasn't just because Chikara had been captured, nevertheless, he was impressed by his ally he was impressed by all of his allies, from the new ones to the ones who were around since day one. Chikara grinned and pushed further with his chakra mastery, controlling and keeping them steady so that his chakra pool would grow stronger.

He could feel how his power was beginning to falter a little as he had pushed out too much in a short period but this was all planned, he knew that his mastery was top-tier, what was lacking was how he could utilize it in a way that let his pool grow in size as he regenerated back a bit and used the other to maintain whatever jutsu he had cast. Chikara knew that this was just the beginning, that Crescent would be around to help shape the world to be free from the shackles of the old, to not be weighed down with what was, and everyone would be allowed to try to live their freest life.

"Remember, good, bad, ugly, it doesn't matter, the moon rises at night and returns the next. We will never fall!" Chikara felt smug, his powers had grown since the day he had chosen to free himself from Konoha. He ran his hand over this facial scar as he closed his eyes and thought back to the day he escaped, he had heard that Tousha had resigned from his Hokage role post-Yaku and Enma's invasion, news that shocked the ninja to the core. He had fought, bled, and carried a permanent scar for the strength of their village, for the ideology that his leader would stay strong until the day he died.

He couldn't imagine what horrors Tousha had to suffer through carrying such memories, nor could he imagine what went through Fanho's head now that he had to take over after Takeo. Chikara's life choices were not conventional whatsoever, they were based on selfish desires and beliefs that he hoped would result in opportunities to live in true freedom. His thought pattern was stopped as he spotted the swarm heading towards them, Kemuri was one of the only ones who were allowed to fly over Hibitogakure no Sato, so he wasn't surprised when he appeared, no, what did surprise him was the incoming kunai.

"Oh shit, we are playing those games huh?" Sly chuckled as he leaped backward, he formed a set of hand seals and then tossed out two Kunai's, one was tagged with a flash and the other was tagged with smoke, another shadow moved out of his and grabbed both of the kunai and tossed them at Kemuri 45 speed, he knew that there was no chance he could take him down like that it was an invitation to start a little spar between them. "We have 1 Bug specialist, 1 Taijutsu Specialist, and 1 Genjutsu specialist. We should try and see which style is truly the best one." Chikara spread his arms right as the flash and smoke would explode.

Sly Force released everyone who had been captured by his previous trap and focused on trying to keep an eye out on Enzaragi, now that they would be sparring, his Shogo was quick to be activated as he needed any advantage he could get to deal with that fast rascal, though he kept his Tsuyoi inactive for now as he felt that it would be a bit accessible if he busted it out immediately. "Do not disappoint me, boys! We only get one chance to obtain our freedom!" Chikara performed a backflip and drew out two more kunai, the same as the previous ones.

"As expected..." Though he hadn't truly anticipated to catch the man off guard with such a sloppy attack on his end, he had still achieved his agenda of announcing his entrance and also the issue of his challenge to spar a bit with the Kage. His retort made the older man chuckle to himself, comparing a genjutsu user versus a taijutsu user vs a bug specialist like himself. Indeed, each of the three were strong in their own right but of course Kemuri was under the believe that while his own specialization didn't have the outright power or strength that a pure taijutsu user could put out that the flexibility his style provided him to fight in a multitude of different ways was something that would keep him a step ahead of whom ever he was fighting. "Bold words, my young friends..." Of course, the man couldn't help but take a light jab at the man below him on the ground as his swarm extended out seeming to consume the two kunai and the attached firewords on eight of them as though the abyss that was the dark beetle just swallowed them whole before they could reach the scarred man. As this happened the man reached into his jacket pockets and brought out a single cigarette and his old faithful zippo style lighter, after all if they were going to do a little sparing between themselves then Kemuri needed to get into the mood as he took the first inhale from his lit cancer stick and put the lighter back away in its normal pocket. "Well then...just as the smoke and light bomb would activate but all one could see from inside the swarm of dark bugs with a brief flash of light and tendrils of smoke that leaked outwards from the death grip the insect's had upon Chikara's two weapons.

Normally for most of his offensive operations the former missing-nin would have utilized his hornet formation due to the powerful venom contained within their stingers that could quickly debilitate those stung by then or even kill depending on how many and where the foe was stung. 'First and second platoon, arise...' It was a mental command sent to his beetles that were still within the container on the left side of his back, responding instantly around thirty sync worth of insects heeded the call of their master in that moment and flowed outwards from the container like a flood of black death that gave off a truly ominous feeling to those who could see it from below as the group split instantly into two even sides, which each side then split into three more groups for a total of six groups. What he called his first platoon, the group of the right and the second group of three on the left which was known as second platoon. 'First frontal attacks, second flanking....' The order was straight forward, and the response was immediate from them as the three five sync groups on the shinobi's right side instantly dove down at full speed, obviously not intending to hold anything back against the Kage level foe down below, or at least they had not been told to restrain themselves by their 'king' and thus were simply out right attacking to protect him.

The second group, three groups on Kemuri's left side attacked in a different manner now while the first ones shot forward directly these groups split up two going in an arching manner to the left side and the remaining group shot off to the right side. His friend now faced a trio of attacks from the first group attempting to attack him head on while the other three groups attempted to probe both the left and right flanks of the man as he would be dealing with the frontal attacks first. Their master on the other hand simply had his hands in the rough looking jacket's pockets observing with a keen eye for the reaction time and movement patterns of his comrade. Who knew, perhaps in the future there would be a time when they were no longer part of the same coalition, and he would need to 'take care of' this man...out of the corner of his eye he also couldn't help but pay attention to the other one that was there training with them. The powerful taijutsu user who Kemuri knew he didn't want to get close to if he could help it.

Chikara couldn't believe his luck, not only had he experienced death once but he got to return to life but a great cost though, his personality had shifted and his Shogo had weakened, it was almost as if it was half rejecting him due to him dying. Was he going to have to earn the power of his eye yet again? Truth was that Chikara felt a bit pathetic, he had been captured, tortured, and then apparently attacked while he was unconscious, which to him didn't really fit the whole Konoha motif, which told him that the old Konoha was dead, there was no chance that Crescent would ever collaborate with Konoha, first, they helped kill the Hokage now they attempted the life of the Tsukikage.

No, they could never go back, there was only one way forward and that was by becoming stronger, so when he challenged Kemuri, he knew exactly what he was doing, he had to push himself to the point where he was before and beyond that, he needed to become as powerful as he was and make sure that whatever happened won't happen again! No, he was never going to falter like that, if he was going down then he would do it on his feet, that much was promised. Chikara only dreamt about one thing and that was the day Crescent would bury Fanho and Taiga.

Konoha would burn for their arrogance, they were going to send them a message, Crescent Coalition is not a minor country they can bully and push around, no, they were becoming serious players in this game they call life. His doujutsu was working overtime, recording and inspecting everything that went on in front of him, making sure that nothing escaped his vision for if he truly wanted to get back on his feet then he would need to push himself back to his restarting position, which was easier said than done, especially after he had been training so hard for the brief period of time he had been given.

No matter, Chikara wasn't going to let time be the factor that stopped their conquest, no, he was going to use this deadline to make sure that he managed to get all the training he needed done in time. Chikara was going to make sure that Crescent won and with the likes of Shion, Enzaragi, and Kemuri then he was certain that victory was within their grasp. Considering that Konoha would have to send their A-Team to deal with Iwagakure's defenses, that would force them to use their B-Team as protection.

So the question boiled down to, could Crescent's A-Team beat Konoha's B-Team, and if so, then what would stop them from becoming even stronger to the point where Konoha's A-Team never dared to set foot in Crescent? Chikara liked that train of thought, his eyes were still busy watching everything that transpired in front of him, and nothing escaped his eye. "What we are about to do can only be accomplished by the bold!" Chikara grunted under his mask, he knew that these were the times when he joked but due to recent events, he found it hard to find any joy, hopefully, that would return to him once they got Konoha to back off.

I am going to teach these sons of bitches a valuable lesson. Chikara grinned under his mask, smiling wasn't something that ever went away, it was just the fact that joy didn't seem to cling anymore, fortunately, his eye did, so he would be able to keep track of both of these ninjas, though Enzaragi was a bit harder due to his intense speed. No bother, he knew that Enzaragi was a close-quarter combatant, and there was a good chance he could capture him with his shadow if he wasn't careful, Kemuri, on the other hand, would be a bit harder to deal with.

What Chikara knew was that this man was lethal, which was perfect, but when one had to deal with lethal, one could not make any mistakes. Training or not, I am not going to lose! Chikara hoped that his thoughts would come to fruition, but if he did then he would use this as a valuable lesson. What bothered him though was the fact that he currently couldn't use his Exosano'o to protect himself from the bugs, and if he recalled correctly one wouldn't want to be touched by these bugs.

Enzaragi would possibly be able to tank these beasts but Chikara certainly couldn't, with nerves of steal the man would form a set of hand seals and then rush towards Kemuri, hoping that Enzaragi would either choose to attack him or go after Kemuri, he knew that that was one of the ways he could capture them both with his shadow techniques. Yes, he knew better than to trust the fact that he could just trust that his shadows would be fast enough to deal with all of this chaos in one fell swoop, no, he would have to be tactical, for the more he used his shadows, the more they would expect him to use it.

Chikara's eye caught how the bugs consumed the kunai as if they were wet blankets being tossed into a furnace, meaning, they stood no chance of stopping them. Shit, I should've expected them to not be effective. He blew up the kunai once he finished sealing and then stood still, he turned his head to the side to watch the incoming bug swarm, the swarm crashed into what they believed would be Chikara obscuring everyone's vision for a brief second before they would spot that he had vanished unless they carried the capability of sensing his presence.

Chikara had turned 2 dimensional and was crawling along the ground at vast speed towards Kemuri, if he didn't see it coming or was busy eyeing after Enzaragi then he would pop up behind him. "Always expect the unexpected Kemuri." Chikara would flip over Kemuri and cut him to slow him down with -3 speed, once he landed he would return to 2 dimensions and then jolt towards Enzaragi. The smoke from the Genjutsu would be enough to cover his tracks if they hadn't noticed that he had triggered it with the explosive.

Chikara was a master in the arts of deception, so that meant that any attack or move he made could potentially be a genjutsu trigger, worst was the fact that he could delay the trigger in hopes of catching them by surprise, which was his plan, he moved up to Enzaragi, channeled chakra then popped up his left positioned so that if Kemuri looked over then he would also be able to see the action, but instead of cutting him he would just pull at the sword enough to reveal the metal before he once again shrunk down to a shadow, presuming that Enzaragi would attack instantaneously. Had he been able to use the Tsuyoi then he would cast Exososano'o and not fought like a coward but if this was the cost of getting his eye back to where it was then so be it.

Chikara told himself that this was exactly what they needed to do, they needed to inspect each other's flaws and fix all leaks, Kemuri might be a man other people feared, but Chikara respected the man and expected them to work together for a long time, even if he one day wanted to challenge Kageship, he would still support his Kage, new or old.

"Smoke?" The man smiled a bit, sucking in a breath of his own smoke as he forced his flying platform of bugs to levitate itself higher into the air, around twenty-five to thirty meters as the older man's held tilted to the side after watching his powerful swarm formation collide head on with his comrade, but this one was truly a slippery one without a doubt. He couldn't help but remember the first time the two men met when Chikara had attempted to recruit him after losing his previous partner at the hands of an ANBU ambush. The missing-nin didn't trust anyone at that time but someone the younger shinobi had managed to catch him in a genjutsu technique, the kid had talent and ambition, it was one of the reasons that he finally decided to join up with those guys back then. A stream of his own smoke blew out from the man's nose and slightly parted lips in that moment as he actually closed his eyes, it didn't matter if he had them open due to the fact that the explosion had triggered some form of area of effect smoke. Whether it was real or not, the man with little experience in illusions wasn't sure but he had other methods to help combat this sort of things. One could say that it was because of the other man he was sparring with that this sort of technique was created as he used the power of his Bikōchū swarm to sense the chakra signatures around him within a hundred meters taking note of the one rapidly approaching him.

"How sneaky..." He couldn't help but applaud whatever technique he was using to slip by the dark wave of flying horned beetles, it much have been something related to his clan or a doton technique, but Kemuri only continued to smile slightly as he spoke mentally to his Bikōchū swarm within his body. 'Heartless" A stream of bugs flew out of his jacket sleeves and quickly formed into a set of five slender arrows before flashing downwards, locked onto the chakra of the man who was considered one of the 'Kages' of the new merger of lands. The man actually despised the title of Kage due to the other shinobi nations, especially their homeland in Fire country, but it was hard to argue that any person who managed to seize such a title was without a doubt a person of strength, at the very least. Each of the five arrows arched down around the edge of the man's floating bug platform and precisely targeted the chakra signature advancing through him, currently he hadn't even place Enzaragi in his sights as the man hadn't moved on him. Though Kemuri would also welcome the man if he did choose to do so.

At this time the man also recalled his previous bugs that had been sent forward to attack Chikara earlier that had been fooled by his genjutsu efforts, then his body seemed to briefly glow with a faint blue chakra outline, and he got ready to act seriously, at least with his beetle swarm as he didn't plan to let out the giant hornet swarm within the city. After all, they hadn't fed in a few days and who knew how they might act even with their master in control he couldn't deny them a meal if it presented itself, could he? That was something he would do at another time but for now from the container on his back a massive cloud of black buzzing erupted from within, how could such a small container hide so many insects?! The wave of insects grew larger and larger, swirling around their master's position just like a type of protective dome would have looked with him using up to forty sync worth of the swarm for this action.

As that occurred the five heartless arrows attempted to attack the chakra signature from directly above, but as they descended, they briefly glowed with a faint light brown chakra given to them by their master. Each of them was infused with doton chakra, that would allow for them to move through the earth at a speed and strength equal to their sync stat, so even if those arrows missed and 'slammed' into the ground they would pass through like they had been shot into water and would immediately make a turn and reattack Chikara's chakra signature. Only the second attack would be from below and without warning unless the man was able to somehow sense the attack through others means, of course. As Chikara would emerge from his two-dimensional form to flip/leap upwards to reach Kemuri's elevated position he would be meeting the five arrows raining down on him...I wonder what the look on his face was going to be.

[Surpirse Swarm]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Req: At least one swarm
The user always keeps a portion of their swarms at the ready, just in case. Kemuri keeps one sync worth of each of his swarms in his body and clothing at all times, ready to be employed at a moment's notice.

[Heartless Arrow]
A-Rank Swarm Maneuver
Upon the command, "Heartless" the user will gather a palm sized group of his active swarm and direct them towards a single target causing them to fly towards the target in the form of a thin arrow like formation, able to create up to [Sync/10] arrows at a time. Flying at a speed and strength of [Sync] the arrow will home in and seek out their individual target until they lose track of the target, makes contacts with the target, or are commanded to return by the host. Upon making contact, mandibles first, the arrow/insects will burrow its way directly into the target's body, once inside the insects will immediately begin to directly attack and attempt to devour the heart of the target, ultimately killing them in the process. This technique is especially effective with the Bikōchū swarm that is able to lock onto a target's chakra signature.

Bikōchū Swarm at 50 Sync - Chakra Sensory to 100 meters.

Summoned forty sync worth of his horned beetle swarm.

[Hard to Touch]
C-Rank Swarm Nin-Tai
The user channels his doton based chakra into the bodies of his insects within thirty meters, empowered by this doton chakra it allows for them move through the earth at [Sync] speed and strength without disturbing the earth around or above ground as they move through it. This effect lasts for up to four posts.

Things weren't going exactly to plan, Kemuri's bugs were still on his tail and he could tell that he was charging up for something special, he could escape his Bijon perhaps but not is Shogo, no one could, not after this. With quick thinking the eye captured everything that went along, every slight movement, twitch, and change of facial expression, it was almost as if Chikara was allowed to enter his mind, as if Kemuri was part of his hive mind, but he couldn't read his.

Chikara's Shogo also picked up any slight chakra usage, shift in the wind, and pressure on the ground as it moved around at haste, working double time due to only having one. It would pick up any invisible movements and any hidden perception techs one would attempt on him, with this he would also be able to cover his neck if someone tried to teleport next to him, for he had heard what happened and he was not going to allow that to happen to him, never sir. Chikara gritted his teeth as his eye continued to capture everything in sight.

He stilled through with his plans but instead focused on poking Kemuri in the arm so as to not kill him and then change trajectory, but that didn't mean that his bugs didn't scratch his side, albeit he returned to shadow the second they touched him and fled the scene. The buggers were on his tail, fortunately, he was fast and could move in such an erratic way that their attacks would miss as he jittered back and forth, side by side.

Not to say that this didn't drain his chakra but the other option was far worse, Kemuri was going hard so Chikara made sure to tag him just to show that he needed to be aware that they were still allies. A chuckle escaped his breath as he continued his plan to attack Enzaragi before disappearing again, he would attack after Kemuri for at least he knew that he would be able to take some of the hit, unless he already pushed them away, no matter, time was of the essence.

Nothing will sneak past my eye, as long as I prepare ahead I should be clear of any ambush, fool me once and all that. Chikara would laugh if the situation wasn't so grim, but that was what made the toughest of the soldiers, pressure.

[Odoriko • Eyes on the Price]
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: [Shōgō-zumi], [Perception]
His Shōgō-zumi is capable of tracking everything that occurs in 160 meters around by constantly shifting around to capture as much information as possible, allowing him to become one with the battlefield and learned the ability to keep track on every minor shift in the air to muscle movements, even being able to spot those who use [Stealth] up to equal rank.

Chikara had been thinking of a way to separate his shadow and allow it to cast its own shadow techniques in order to daze and confuse the enemies, he couldn't rely on his eyes fully and therefore would have to make sure that he had more tricks up his sleeve, besides, how often do you look at the ground? And if they do? Perfect, Chikara could cast a genjutsu. He chuckled as he started forming as set of hand seals, one he thought would help him achieve what he was pondering. He knew that he had to be fast because if he wasn't then Kemuri's swarm would get him.

He finished his set then channeled chakra throughout his 2d body, without no smoke his shadow detached from him and went in another direction, for 7 posts this creature would have a mind of its own and be able to cast a couple of jutsu before it returned to him, hopefully he could stress that it could bring information. No worries, he was just happy to train the damn jutsu, now, he noticed that it was a bit wonky when it left him and seemed to be a bit wild.

Channeling chakra to calm the shadow down, the mercenary used it to draw the swarm, or at least he hoped for now he really had to focus on keeping the jutsu alive so that it would be useful in the future. He watched as it cast out 80 tentacles to grab hold of as many bugs as it could, struggling to stay alive while the cruel world attempted to eat him. For what it was worth the shadow buddy did at least help distract, and if used in a different situation then he was sure that they would be able to help out in a more meaningful way.

Chikara grinned as he couldn't believe how powerful he had become, training jutsu had become easy, he just knocked them out one after the other as if they were always waiting to be unlocked, he had just been busy finding excuses as to why he never trained them. He chuckled at the thought of being lazy when he helped run a damn country but alas, he had to admit that he had been slacking off for a bit, but those days were over, from here on out the mercenary would make sure that he was in tip top condition.

~Eiketsu • Shadow Buddy
S-Rank Ninjutsu
Chikara separates from his shadow and given it the power to exist, the Shadow mirrors his stats at all times as long as their stats allow it and is essentially an advanced shadow clone. This shadow can cast its own Shadow Jutsu, effectively giving this 2D "being" a core that lies in the center follows it at [Control] and protects it at strength of [Control]. The shadow can act and move on its own like a clone and therefore can be affected by the surrounding world, but the shadow remains in 2d shape unless they use jutsu that allows them to become 3-dimensional, once the shadow becomes 3D then they can start casting other Jutsu Chikara possesses. This jutsu lasts for 7 posts.
