A snake slithers back to Dragon

Post by Zao » Tue May 10, 2022 1:09 am

It was a windy, narrow dirt road only, perhaps only two carriage widths wide and upon this road walked a pale skinned tall figure that wore ragged looking clothing that was more akin to some sort of homeless beggar than the dangerous snake that hid beneath them. Across the exposed center torso and face were a number of tattoos, these tattoos were inscriptions made in some foreign language, one lost in time belonging to the sect that was founded nearly a thousand years ago. The former Dragon country native, displaced by the Great War had returned after seeking out the strength he felt that he needed to truly fight back against the foreign invaders, those of the Fire nation. Ken's strange crimson eyes that resembled those of a serpent looked out from beneath the messy waist long locks of raven hair that were unkept and untamed, allowed to hand down to hide most of his face.

The pale skin of the man was as though it had never seen the sun, or perhaps that the sun's rays were just unable to affect the pristine skin as Ken continued to slowly traverse the roadway headed to the east where he had been told one of the shinobi outposts could be found. 'It is time, with your strength I will finally start to exact my own desires.' Ken mumbled to himself, the strength he spoke about was not just his own but that which he had acquired by becoming one of the White Serpent King's apostles here in the human realm. The powerful chakra of the God Spirit enough to mutate the man's very genetic code and with it bring about great changes in his body and personal strength. His kunai were somewhat hidden from view as the shaggy looking torn shirt's tattered edges hung down around thigh length. The left arm was strange, seemingly wrapped in black bandages and slung inside the loose overshirt and across his chest, strangely looking much to long to be an ordinary arm but the bandaging and ragged clothing hid its true appearance.

Also curled around the arm, hidden from view was a slender snow-white serpent and his own serpent companion who had traveled a good portion of the southern continent with him after the pair entered into their servant-master relationship. Ken had a few months ago aided his old companion and friend in uprooting the corrupt leader of Tea country allowing his grandfather like figure, Ikuto, to take his rightful control of the country. It was too bad that the man was so old and had a country to fix, he really could have used the man's strength in his own endeavor right now but didn't hold anything against the old man. After all, this was his own personal quest for revenge and things would most likely quickly become very ugly as he didn't have the same standards of life that his old friend had. This was because of his own personal loses at the hands of the foreign shinobi and the corruption of the White Serpent King's chakra that had altered his own mind. More violent and prone to act, to kill those that got in his way instead of going about the talking route. "Master, are you really going to do this?"

To anyone that would have been able to perceive the hidden snake, a short series of hisses whispered their way up through the tattered clothing and into the man's ears, but to Ken it was easily understood words as his own mouth parted slightly. A strange and ancient tongue was spoken that was a mix of sounds and the hiss of a snake as he spoke back in parseltongue. "It was inevitable, this darkness that has overtaken my soul desires that blood of those responsible..." The white serpent with the red diamond like marking on its forehead only shook its head, though she wasn't one to care about humans her master was more snake than human and only wanted for him to not endanger his live. It was strange for her and a bit difficult for her to understand the man's reasoning as snakes were generally loners and didn't have such family connections like humans had. The black skin of the man's legs that started just below the knee extended down to his bare feet that continued to walk step by step, seemingly in now rush towards the boarder outpost that had appeared just on the horizon.

"Soon...it will begin...today I allow my soul to descent into hell and for the darkness to fully consume me, as long as I can achieve my selfish desires there isn't anything I won't give up..." Again the man spoke and it came out not in the common human tongue but once more in the ancient language of the serpent. What would play out at this border out post, no one truly knew, but from the emotionless look on the apostle's face, there was a good chance that things would quickly turn ugly for whomever he met there on this day. A scowl grew upon the tattooed face of the man as the outpost at the border of his former homeland, Dragon Country, and the newly formed Dragon's Breath grew closer and closer, finally he was within shouting distance as the sentries picked up the man's approach and strange demeanor. Without a doubt the snake man stood out in a crowd, dressed in rags and bandaging suitable for some sort of homeless beggar but his unkept hair couldn't fully hide his tattooed face and body, nor the look of hatred within his crimson eyes as they lifted from the ground onto the men out before him. "I will only ask once of you shinobi, this land does not belong to you. Leave and go back to your own land."

This day had finally come, he had scratched and clawed his way to gain a strength that would allow for him to stand up against the force of nature that was the shinobi and their chakra techniques, but was it enough? Ken truly had no way of telling, only able to compare himself against one of the strongest fighters he had served with, a frog like man by the name of Fuhen, someone he had hoped would be able to help him in the past. But truly this was his own fight and one that he didn't wish to bring his only friends into after all everyone had their own path to walk in life. Ken's path just so happened to bring him here to this place on this day, as for what the outcome at the end of the day might be, no one could know. But he knew that he felt he finally had acquired the strength from his lord to let him stand shoulder-to-shoulder with that man and his might. His one good hand that wasn't wrapped in bandaged across his chest reached out from underneath the ragged cloak revealing its jet black skin that reached up to nearly the elbow, as though that part of the man's arm had been dipped in ink. That hand formed to a half prayer like position directly below his chin as the White Serpent genes within his body slowly began to circulate and activate. 'So it is finally time....'

A snake slithers back to Dragon

Post by Taiga » Sun May 15, 2022 12:43 am

Deep within Dragon country was a winding road and upon it walked two men who were on this day fated to meet. Hajime was a shadow of his former self. Despite being massive in stature, he hunched. His armor was rusted, his clothes tattered and torn. Much of his body was banged and he hobbled along the ground using a branch as a cane as if he was a decrepit leper. His face was dirty with an unwashed beard and under his piercing gaze were thick dark bags and puffy pink eyes. Everything about the man is a warning to the world around him. As he stumbled upon the path, with every step and consequential slamming of his makeshift cane into the ground, the fauna died around him, the grass decaying to mush and even the bugs themselves dying. A crazed look as if he was in a stupor sat upon his face. His skin was pale and what skin was visible had the scars of burns upon it. Senju Hajime was indeed a shadow of his former self and so much weaker than he had once been. He would fix that today- and the answer lied within the medics of the outpost to which he headed.

He continued hobbling forward on his path, reaching a fork in the road that merged with another path. a path walked by another stranger. The stranger he was perhaps fated to meet. Hajime's eyes cot a look of him from afar. The man was covered in tattered clothes, not too much unlike himself, and his skin was so pale. But, to the former ANBU and legendary missing ninja, something was off about this man. His stride was not that of a beggar but that of a king. With the outpost on the horizon, and as the stranger passed by him, he noticed something- the figure had begun to change, and then he spoke.

The gears in Hajime's cold, calculating head turned. This man clearly had it against the shinobi who had taken his land, and those shinobi, happened to be the same one Hajime wanted destroyed- though a missing ninja there was no love in his soul for the village that had done this to him. That had burnt him within an inch of his life just for completing the parameters of his mission. Whoever this stranger was, he would be interesting, for the enemy of thy enemy was my friend. There was just one small hitch though. He needed whatever medic was at that outpost to heal his broken body and if this guy killed them, well, he wouldn't get what he had come here for.

We must take control of the situation, Hajime a feint voice in the back of his head said. His staff dropping to the ground he stood to his full form, revealing his size as he hurdled forward, wincing through the pain. Even in this condition, he was far faster than the average Jounin, but it pained him to be in this condition. From behind the other stranger, he yelled with a booming but sickly and almost taunting voice, Koboku • Insanity Tree no Jutsu as a massive tree split out from the earth beneath the wall of the outpost, tearing it asunder and destroying it as its branches grew out and instantly began their terror. One branch would skewer one of the guards atop the wall, while another would grab one by the neck and toss him over the wall towards the other stranger.

Adding to what the other man had said, he would scream in a gutwrenching, horrific voice, "Death and decay awaits all those of the Fire Nation." as he hurdled forwards for the gap in the wall he had created.

He'd need to find the medics, and his assault on this base would be much easier now that another stranger was here.

A snake slithers back to Dragon

It would appear that the man wasn't alone in this quest of his, another appearing to share similar feelings for the nation of Fire, but he had not expected to encounter someone like that out here. At first the almost fragile looking figure had barely even drawn the serpent's attention as he had been almost completely focused on what the response from the shinobi at the border outpost would be to his own perhaps outrageous words. After all, it was a rather boasting claim for a single man to call out an entire outpost as though he was some type of one-man army or something. Yet, he couldn't help but turn his head as the almost crippled looking figure in rags shed the cane like stick and assaulted the wall of the outpost without warning, only a yellow about how the Fire Nation would suffer. The crimson eyes watched as a tree like creature sprouted from along the wall destroying it, but two things really caught the man's attention.

Even with the action taking place it was the fact that the very life around the man seemed to be affected by some sort of dark aura: the grass and flora seemed to be drained of life and secondly was the fact that the man was a wood user. The man had learned what he could about the enemy of his future and so even he knew about the wood user clan of the Leaf village, the Senju. But if this man was able to utilize wood but defied his own village that meant he was a wanted man himself, a missing-nin. Perhaps this was good for him, though he didn't like the idea of a shinobi helping him, let alone a former Konoha-nin, perhaps this was a good thing. With two people assaulting the outpost he wouldn't be under the combined assault of shinobi forces stationed here.

"Hah, very well. Seems I can work together with this stranger for now..." Dark sage green chakra could be seen as it illuminated the fuuin inscription that resembled that figure of a curled serpent around the exposed dark skin of the right forearm and hand, he couldn't let himself be looked down upon just because this other man wanted to crash through ahead of him. With a backhanded strike the man who had been tossed his way was blasted to the side with incredible strength causing the man to be bend into a u-shape. As the critically injured shinobi as smashed through a large tree to the man's right Ken was prepared to follow in suit of the unnamed missing-nin.

It would seem the two men would be the disaster that would befall the shinobi of this place as a cloud of chakra smoke enveloped the small man as it expanded out nearly twenty meters before a forty-meter-long white serpent burst forward from the chakra smoke. The powerful and massive serpent smashed through the wall on the opposing side of the outpost from Hajime's corrupted tree. With a sinister smirk the man's right hand held onto a Tenku chain that connected him with the summoned serpent now as the chain stretched out to the back of the serpent, just below the back of the large snake's head as it flared out a cobra like hood as he smashed past the wall an into the building closest to the shattered wall. It's power tail swiping across behind it, the tip of the tail smashing into a group of three shinobi who had been about to attack the serpent and its owner. "I wonder where that other man got off to..."

Kuchiyose • [Bring Forth the Serpents]
C-rank Tenkujutsu (Nin)
Pre-Requisite: Charge Fuuinjutsu Concentration
The base technique for summoning, this specialized version of the basic Spiritualism Technique allows users to bring forth up to three random snake spirits from the Serpent Realm through an agreement made between the user and King of the Serpents through a forbidden ritual. This works in conjunction with the user's Serpent Soul ability, allowing the random spirit(s) to exist as long as the Tenku chakra chain connecting them to the controller remains intact. This chain has [Control] strength.

The chakra used for this technique varies, as it is dependent on the size and/or rank of what is being summoned, the technique empowering the user's Soul of the Serpent allowing for him to summon an appropriate ranked 'random spirit' following the rules for realm summoning. Once it has been summoned, the initial cost of the summon is equivalent to its rank. It is paid upon being summoned and then at the end of those posts the spirit is pulled back to its original realm by the chakra chain that ties it to the user.

A snake slithers back to Dragon

Post by Director » Tue May 24, 2022 11:30 pm

Fanho burst high above the clearing of trees as he saw the plumes of smoke form from the outpost on the edge of Fire Country as he tried to get a grasp on the situation. The outpost had been caught off guard, but at least one shinobi stationed had been lucky enough to trip the alarm alerting the village. Unfortunately no further intel came past that leaving the light user ironically in the dark. Channeling chakra, what the Awai did best, the bannin spawned two copies of himself as they each spawned tendrils off their forearms that curled down their arms like chains but that pulsed with vibrant gray almost white light.

The three Awai moved in quickly as one dashed their whips out grabbing the fellow three shinobi and pulling them out of the way of the elusive and fast snake attempting to crush them wrecking. While the second saved another from being skewered by the tree clone again and using the whips to slice off the arm branch into several woodchips. The real Fanho moved to catch the shinobi launched by the reptile featured man quickly reeling him in as Fanho tucked the critically injured man on his shoulder flipping backwards and passing him off to a retreating guard that was saved. "Take him and go back to the last fort for aid, I'll hold them off here until reinforcements can arrive."

Fanho's two clones nodded to each other quickly moving to restrain the two big threats at hand, quickly moving to restrain the tree and snake respectively slinging their hands up and then down as the whips encircled both the spirit and tree binding closely as the light restrained and burned deep into the skin of each creature as Fanho stood atop the remains of the gate looking down at the two after binding their main methods of attacking. "Hello there, I can see you two want an audience, but all you're gonna get is me. Now I'll give you about five minutes to explain what it is you're doing here before I stop being Mr. Nice Guy." The shinobi's voice called out as he beckoned for their time and attention. He crossed his arms as they glowed with the whips wrapped around pulsing lightly. He toned down the light to offer his opponents the opportunity to talk without blinding them as a sign of willingness to hear them out despite their actions.

After the war so much had changed, and Fanho didn't want to risk an international incident lest the world be thrown into chaos again with him moving to assault the two before him. He'd give them the opportunity to explain themselves and try a diplomatic route. Much to Taiga's chagrin the hotheaded brethren would most likely take the two down for their already committed transgressions, but for Fanho he held hope he could reach them and reason. If not, then he'd drive them back to where they came from and into hiding until perhaps they were ready to talk then, or wished to meet their demise sooner than scheduled.

With his attempts at a peaceful negotiation it did puzzle Fanho about a snake like man coming around these parts. The only other reptile skinned man that he was aware of was a missing-nin from Kirigakure. New threats died and rose with the war, perhaps this was one born from the turmoil that occurred during Fanho's absence. He was still very much so catching up on all that had changed, borders, relations, minor countries wiped from existence. The sickly Senju also peaked his interest as the earth around him died like his figure and flesh seemed to be doing. In steep decline bringing everything down with him.
Jutsu UsedShow
Ninjutsu • Advanced Shadow Clone Technique
S-rank Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra the user proceeds to create a number of clones of themselves (maximum is equal to 1/3rd the user's stamina). Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies of the user in both appearance and substance. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but they will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original and any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. Given that the clones are an exact replica of the user, they share the same stats except for stamina, which is determined by the number of clones presently in effect. The advantage of this form of the technique is that once dispersed, the chakra distributed to the clones returns to the user, allowing any unused chakra to be regained, slowing the draining usage of this technique. The chakra returns to the user at a different rate depending on the user's control.

1-15 Control: 1/5
16-25: 2/5
26-35: 3/5
36+: 4/5

Hiton • Hell Spider
B-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 30 Control
After channeling the necessary chakra Fanho will create tendrils of solid hiton, approximately 9 total that he can control with a speed and strength of [Control]. While these tendrils are controlled Fanho can't perform any other ninjutsu or genjutsu. These tendrils are thin with a diameter of 4 inches and have a reach of 65 meters. The tendrils last for 6 posts.

From a broken, decrypt old man to suddenly standing straight, revealing a figure that towered above others, Hajime drew his twin gladiuses and got to work, he would cut down anyone in his way, and before long he would find himself through the outpost gap as his tree continued to rip apart and slap the ever-$$$$ing life out of those around it. After passing through the gap he'd immediately mutter to himself. "He talks to himself, doesn't he? Oh yes, yes he does. He's not like us, he's weird." he would say, now at a safe distance from the other man to say such things. A shinobi drew a kunai and lunged at him in Ochiba, only for the man to parry with one Gladius and impale the poorly trained Chuunin on the other. He'd of kept going in a little rampage too if something extremely flashy hadn't suddenly dropped from the sky.

Awai Fanho

Contempt grew within him, but Hajime knew in his current form he was no match for one of the legendary bannin of Konoha- a man who at a time rode with the ANBU commander hinmself- Yoru and the Hokage Takeo. Poison and vitriol built up inside Hajime at his greatest enemy as one-sided a relationship it was. Before long the man would be slicing at the branches of his tree to free the others, but also unintentionally placing himself close to the tree. Perhaps he hadn't felt it yet... Hajime wouldn't answer his prompts but instead slam his hand down to the ground after a set of seals as more trees along the wall and near Fanho sprouted up. The trees gave him notonly cover, but until Fanho would realize, he'd be losing a lot of chakra around the decaying deadwood trees.

At this rate, he would never find any medics. In the meantime, he'd hobble and slip away into the tents of the outpost. Hopefully his trees would help weaken Fanho before he'd notice, and along with the stranger, keep him busy.

3 x Koboku • Seed of Doubt
D-Rank Ninjutsu
By performing the correct hand seals and touching the ground, Hajime plants a seed in the ground that will grow into a small sapling, then continue to grow into a tree at a rate along side it's passive. The tree has a strength of 5 and by the final post, it's size is roughly 5 meters tall, it's roots penetrate the ground in a 7 meter radius, and it's canopy juts out with a 5 meter radius.

"What is this..." A trio of men, no it was the same man using some sort of clone technique it would seem had appeared on the scene like some sort of last minute hero as a handful of shinobi were pulled out of the crushing path of the large serpent upon which Ken stood upon. His vertical pupils narrowed just ever so slightly as he took in the scene as the man moved with speed that was to fast for the snake to accurately react to, in turned allowing the tendrils of grey light that flowed from the arms of the clone that attacked the snake to easily ensnare the beast which fought back violently. 'Hmp..!' Seeing the end of this current attack not going his way as the light tentacles began to bind down the massive snake he bent his knees and pushed off in the opposing direction to create a distance between himself and the two nearest Fanho's.

As soon as he leaped off the large serpent spirit, the binding chain that stretched out from a strange tattoo on the dark skin of his right forearm and hand seemed to break releasing the summon from Ken's command and severing its connection with this world. The ensnared spirit poofed into a large cloud of chakra smoke as it was released back to the serpent spirit realm briefly clouding one's vision of the area as the White Snake's Apostle landed away from where the third clone was attacking the strange tree that gave of a cryptic feeling causing the beggar like man to instinctively keep his distance. Exhaling the man's unbandaged right hand came up in a half prayer like hand seal as he activated his snake gene's causing two small black dot like holes to form on either side of his nostrils.

"A Konoha-nin...hah! I didn't expect vermin to come here to speak of peace after what you did during the war..." Ken was straight forward with his own words at this point, revenge and vengeance the only things that filled the darkened mind and soul of the young man as he narrowed his gaze as the three men, the two clones and the original Fanho were placed in a position that was in front of him. Appearing to inhale lightly the man's chest puffed up slightly before he exhaled a dark green cloud of poison smoke/mist that rushed forward. Growing until it would cover a sixty-meter diameter area in front of Ken who then leaped back onto the edge of a damaged building roofline. There hadn't really been any word about the Bannin who had appeared here today throughout the war, though he was somewhat well informed from his information collected from black-market sources he didn't recognize the man before him or understand how strong of an opponent had appeared before him.

But it didn't matter to Ken, he hadn't come here to shy away from some wannabe hero, as he pushed forward his personal venom in the form of a mist/cloud, hoping to catch who ever this Leaf shinobi was off guard. Breathing in the mist would be disastrous for those caught in it, able to cause total body paralysis. Though the man was immune to his own venom he didn't recklessly rush forward, and his own poison cloud prevented him from seeing the actions of the seemingly injured stranger who was creating more of his strand dead trees, instead he watched as the man had been able to easily deal with the strange large tree and his serpent summon and he needed to gauge just what level of opponent had appeared before him. This was despite the serpent King's gene's within him urging him to attack the Awai clansman with his full strength...to place his dominance upon this weak human...

White Snake Sage: Thermal Pits
C-Rank Maneuver
After entering into the Nature of the Serpent King stance the user focuses on activating the Serpent King's genes on his face, on either side of his nose two small black pits will form. For the next five posts the user is able to sense thermal signatures within 35 meters radius of his position and actually pinpoint specific thermal signatures with a 15-meter radius.

White Snake Sage: Poison Cloud
A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
After entering into the Nature of the Serpent King stance the user focuses on activating the Serpent King's genes into his throat causing the White Serpent's Venom within him to come together within his mouth and condense into a mist from its normal thicker liquid form. Allowing the user to expel a sixty-meter cloud of venom at [Strength] speed from himself, the cloud carries no real strength but anyone who breaths it in this venomous cloud will fall victim to the snake's venom as it is introduced directly into their blood stream. This mist will linger in the air for up to six posts before dispersing on its own.

A snake slithers back to Dragon

Post by Director » Mon May 30, 2022 1:14 am

Fanho watched as the old baked Senju hobbled his way in and another small tree plotted itself close by. The clone took notice and decided to make quick work of this tree clone as the whips tightened further slicing clean through. The Bannin had been holding back as he wanted to gauge the relative strength of the invaders. It wasn't long after the tree clone was crushed the Snake summon disappeared in a puff of smoke obscuring the trio's vision. With the two gargantuan opponents down he could focus his sights on the individuals, however out of the corner of his eye he noticed a few trees being planted. With the tree and snakes being gone, the clones made quick work of the new trees planted not even noticing the chakra sapping nature due to how quick it was destroyed.

If memory served the Awai, the Senju's strength was drawn out battle, their jutsus gaining strength the longer it went on. Although these were weak indicating to him the Senju before him wrecking havoc wasn't of equal footing. The real Fanho heard the Chuunin being stabbed behind him as he quickly turned around to lunge forward at the wounded Chuunin and pulling him back to the rest of the retreating group in mere moments while the two clones held down the fort. With the Senju hobbling around disappeared in tents, the two clones decided to split the work load. One would search for the Senju and the other would focus on the snake like-man.

While the real Fanho scrambled together to keep the straggling shinoboi at the fort at bay from attacking the two invaders, the clones would try to combat and put up a fight holding them at bay from harming any more. Fanho's purpose was to minimize loss of life at this point, and deduct information from the invaders. Their clear disdain for Konoha was clear due to their butchering of shinobi that were rescued.

The clone dashed through the tents attempting to sniff out the burnt earthly nature of the Senju, after all the whips provided excellent offense and defense, but other ninjutsu couldn't be used while in effect. The clone utilized its Konoha Smash • Heightened Prowl technique as he sniffed the air taking a page out of the Wolfman's book using his sense of smell. The scent of dead trees lingered in the air, the ash of trees swanned through the air as the clone snapped his head in the direction of the Senju hobbling through a tent using a single whip to slice the tent in half just in-front of the missing-nin.

"Sure you don't wanna talk this out? I've been more than accommodating considering you've butchered my friends here." The second copy's words came out genuine but with a slight hiss of anger.

The second clone tasked to deal with the snake watched as he was insulted, called vermin. The third Fanho didn't think he looked like a rat, mouse, or squirrel. He scratched his chin before he tapped his head thinking hard. Did he look like vermin? "I don't think I look like vermin. I mean my hair gets kinda shaggy sometimes, but I think that's really uncalled for." However in that instant of wondering, Fanho saw the green cloud of venom pour out, gallons of the fumes filled the area quickly before him separating him and the snake. The clone watched intently as his brain worked quickly to solve the problem before him.

Poison smoke, don't breathe this!

Just a cloud with no mass, an easy solution was had to a literal toxic problem. The second clone's whips separated from being wrapped around his arms as it began swirling around him as insane speeds creating an air pocket bubble for the Bannin to walk in keeping the poison at bay. After all it was just a cloud with no real weight. The whips swirling around pushed the venomous clouds aside. The clone walked closer to the snake as it began thinning out the closer he got.

"While interesting, it doesn't impress me much. Are you sure we just can't talk, I'll even forgive you for the varmint comment."

The tendrils last for 5 posts.

Due to intense training, Fanho's sense of smell is impeccable and allows him to follow a scent for up to his 25 meters meters with near pinpoint accuracy. If it is outside of that range to a max of 50 meters he can only get a general direction. He can even detect scents days old and track them with this unless there has been some sort of scent removal technique or severe weather conditions. This also allows him to distinguish between different scents of people and companions.

There would be no quick work to be made of the three trees, as even if Fanho's clone could chop them up, their wood would still remain, scattered in large chunks around his clone, but still just as capable of sapping the chakra of that around them. More importantly, however, the pieces and chunks of deadwood, would provide exactly what Hajime had hoped for as the Konoha bannin sliced, diced, and pushed forward. As he passed by the destroyed remains of his tress, they would provide ammunition. As he hobbled his way in and out of tends and through cover, he'd seal his hands, exploding the wood while Fanho's clone was in the perfect range of his fallen brethren to further aid and cover his retreat, while also sending deadwood shrapnel all over in every which direction into the folks nearby in the outpost, and also again hopefully the clone.

With any luck, this would deter his pursuer.

He would quit his act and take off at full speed through the camp, having located the flag for the medic booth. Hopefully his new found friend would be more of a distraction for the other Fanhos- or the mist would spread further and all his sniffing and smelling would mean that he was inhaling that poison.

After the correct hand seals, the user may touch any mokuton structure made of their chakra within the next 3 posts. Upon doing so, they will then cause the structure to explode outward from where they are (so that they remain safe) with a B-Rank Explosive force. This process usually sends massive splinters and bits of wood everywhere in front of them, making it a doubly lethal technique.

A snake slithers back to Dragon

Post by Zao » Thu Jun 09, 2022 12:34 am

'Why is this man so strange?' Even the weird snake dude that he was, Ken couldn't help but feel that there was something mentally off with this guy. As his cloud of purple smoke produced from his very venom spread out his hands dropped to either side as from inside the shaggy robes a pair of white snakes slithered out and onto the ground on either side moving away from their master as they weren't immune to his own venom, and it seemed that he was ready to test out his new opponent. While the man's clone went about starting to fan the thick mist, the man's own skin was shed as he seemed to fall to the ground as a decoy, appearing injured as it laid on the ground while the man mixed doton chakra with his natural serpent chakra and fused into the ground.

It was within the ground that he would activate his Vibrotactile ability, increasing his own sense of touch to a level of the that few could even fathom, to the point that he could sense the vibrations created by those on top of the earth as he moved about ten to twenty meters in front of his own clone under the earth. Using his nintai burrowing ability to do so without disturbing the earth above him. Though he was blind to the surface his tactile sense was enough to let him know just what was going on around him to an extent. It was here that the serpent did what his species did best, that was to prepare to ambush his prey. Of course, he couldn't tell who was the real one and who was the clone of the man but either was good enough for Ken at the moment.

He could feel the White Serpent King's chakra flowing through his body, allowing for him to activate the genes within his right arm causing for the skin to wiggle and white serpent scales to form as four appendages pushed off the man's forearm. Forming into the heads of snakes as they rushed forwards up through the earth still under the effect of the [Burrowing Serpent] as they moved through the air as though it was water. Sliding through the surface at the feet of the clone that approached through the poison smoke, attempting to ensnare and bite onto the legs of the clone with their fang filled mouths in an ambush strike using the snakeskin on the ground to hopefully fool the eyes of the shinobi. If successful, the serpents would constrict after their bites and attempt to pull the clone down into the earth to meet the Apostle.

A snake slithers back to Dragon

Post by Director » Thu Jul 28, 2022 9:59 pm

Fanho's clone reached with the whips covering the allies in the vicinity of the blast sacrificing himself to protect those in the radius. The real Fanho shielded more of the shinboi swept on the outskirts of the blast while protecting himself. He leapt to keep all other shinobi at bay gently tossing them above the treeline away from the battle with his whips. However, inconveniently he forgot one section of the camp. The only place out of all that the Senju was remotely interested in. "Dammit, at this rate I'll be fist fighting this hobbled tree guy."

The real Fanho leapt back from the poison mist trying to take in all the commotion as he ran the calculations in his head. So far so good he had cleared most of the camp, all but the target as the fight devolved into a chase. Luckily away from the wood chippings that were such a drag. Fanho reached out with a tendril cranking up the heat and violence attempting to swipe at the Senju once more with a whip aiming for his head. Even if he hadn't hit him, the light surely would've blinded the Senju by now. making him easy pickings for the Awai. He'd have to end the Senju quickly, lest lose the chakra he gained back from his clone.

Meanwhile on the other-side of the encampment the clone and snake man locked in a battle of the wits and quips. Well just Fanho was quipping, but at least they were bangers. The snake man was just being quite downright rude. However his hubris would be his slip-up. As Fanho casually walked through the clouds he could see the snake man's outline crumple to the ground unbeknownst it was a snake skin, however beneath his feet Fanho had a similar skill as he could feel the vibrations reverberate through the ground.

Ah, a fellow ground swimmer? I know how your type works.

A grin grew across the Awai's face as he felt the vibrations grew closer until he could pinpoint exactly where the snake man was at. Casually playing along to the snake man's act as he felt the serpents grow closer the Awai hopped up utilizing his own tendrils to dig into the ground and intercept the man attempting to coil around the serpents rising up tying them up. The other tendrils follow further down attempting to tie up the snake at his own game restraining his arms and legs while attempting to choke him out. At the very least if he couldn't keep the snake pinned the blinding light and searing heat meeting him underground would at least disrupt the reptilian man.

"Good afternoon snake man. I'd like to say nice try, but well, at the very least an attempt was made."

Maybe he'd lay an egg in surprise? Snakes lay eggs right?
