The end of the list is a moment of joy for Kotoya; it signals the end of a long and arduous journey. Each item has been carefully checked, double checked, and triple checked to make sure he had it. Otherwise his mother would beat him to something that once resembled a bloody pulp before it had been beaten profusely afterward.

The last item was ninja hash. Then again, he did have to buy groceries for Mr. Blangcaster next door, but the only things on his list were, and I quote, "HEAVY DUTY MANPONS".

These are something that he would be forcefully avoiding. He's not sure if there's really anything in a box of manpons. Maybe they just make people buy them just to embarrass them.

Anyway, back to the hash rash, pash. Kotoya found the appropriate isle and began to search for said ninja hash, though he soon discovered that there was only one can left. What luck! He would have to retrieve it immedetialey lest it be stolen out from under him. He reached out for the can but he soon discovered that another hand had already grasped it. He looked to his left to see that his hash competitor was none other than...

HALCYONE! The stunning brunette locked eyes with the opposing Genin. Her eyebrows lowered and her Byakugan pulsed. Her beautiful face was forced into a look of pure anger. A lion would be intimidated. She lifted her free hand up to Kotoya's face and began signing.

"This can's mine. Please find another. I can't assure your safety if you choose to say no." From the look in her eyes, even a dunce could tell she was quite serious.

Kotoya was doomed if he pursued his can of ninja hash further. Close range fighting with a Hyuuga taijutsu specialist? What was he supposed to do? Heal her to death?

"Oh, go right ahead! Err, uhh, I was just on my way to aisle 7 to get some manpons for Mr. Cabbagepatchkidsorwhatevermanjensenterwilliger and I stopped by to admire this can of ninja hash. Right, well, be seeing you!" exclaimed Kotoya hurriedly. Her threats scared him profusely. He racewalked away and ducked into aisle seven to get some manpons in a veil of shame and a definite lack of ninja hash.

Hal smiled in victory. She took the hash to the register and then home. She didn't know what the heck ninja hash was, but she won. She won.
