Makoto was bored. She was completely and utterly bored. A white lollipop stick drooped in her pouting mouth as she sucked on it with sulking expression. Her shoulders hung low due to this depressing boredom. This was like... The most cruel torture in life. She let out a sigh, she didn't feel like doing anything today and yet wanted to get rid of this boredom. So wait... Wouldn't that be counted as wanting to do something today?

Mako let out a small growl, it was annoying, everything was annoying. Why was she in the need to suffer so? It was horrible, everything was horrible. She suddenly had an urge to scream and had to bite down hard in order to suppress it. Craaack! She stopped for a moment, being confused as where the sound came from. It didn't take her but a moment to figure out where, her lollipop. The light purple candy orb was shattered in her mouth. She frowned, she hated it when she accidentally bit and crushed the lollipop in her mouth. She preferred holding them in her mouth rather then eating it. It somehow allowed her to focus.

Light grape scent refreshed her as she simply swallowed the crushed candy. It prickled lightly at her throat, however she didn't mind it at all. Any feeling of sense will allow her to snap out of this dull and stale state. Even the air she breathed seemed stale and she wondered why and how she didn't gag on it. She subconsiously searched for another lollipop within the bag and soon fished out an unknown flavor wrapped in white waxy wrapping. Without looking at it, she pulled the wrapper off in a single motion and popped it in her mouth. The buttery smell with hint of delicate sour told her that it was probably lemon tart flavor.

Looking around randomly, she spotted a pleasant patch of shade underneath an enormous oak tree. She smiled lightly as she stroked the drooping branches. The ancient thing somehow caused marble in her as she wondered what it has seen. The needle like leaves were rather soft due to it being newly sprout and she enjoyed that cold, prickling, and soft touch it carried. It was rather enjoyable and broke that state warmth she was suffocating from.

A sudden urge poked at her mind. She suddenly wanted to jump in a pool of cold water, cloth and all. Makoto blinked for few seconds and let out a chocking laugh. Where did that come from? Even for her, that was erratic. Well, perhaps today was some insane day for her. After all, she wasn't her usual self, even if that part was just a facade, she wasn't her self today. Her thoughts already left the topic as she plotted out the route to the nearest pool of clear water. However she stood still for the moment, she didn't feel like moving much and sighed at the thought of it.

"A whole two hours to myself... whatever shall I do?" Tousha pondered to himself, his face wrinkled with deep thought and his fingers scratching at the stubble lining his jaw.

That morning the kage had managed to get a head start on a few stacks of paperwork. Because of his usual flawless work ethic Tousha had even been able to take an extra long lunch break for the evening. Which put him into a rather peculiar position. It had been a long while since the Hokage had been given any down time, let alone a full two hours worth.

He could always go to the Konoholic, but he really didn't feel like drinking. Ever since his run in with that old missing nin he had sworn to quit drinking.... as much. Stopping cold turkey like that was well beyond his ability.

So that left the hot springs, his favorite tea shop, or the park. He didn't particularly feel like going home to get his "hot spring gear," which consisted of a towel, his swimming trunks, and a pair of goggles. And he definitely didn't feel hungry after all that cake from Maud's birthday party. So the park it was.

Tousha made his way towards his favorite tree in all of Konoha, an ancient oak tree with several hanging branches that were perfect for sitting around on. Truly, it was a place for only the most talented of lazy bums.

Luckily, Tousha had ascended to that status long ago.

But as he approached the tree he noticed a young lady standing beside ol' oakey (his nickname for the tree). She looked very familiar, but Tousha's mind clicked into place once he saw the white stick hanging out of her mouth.

Her name was Makoto. He had never actually met the kunoichi in person but the kage had made it a point to try and learn all of the names of every shinobi in the village hidden in the leaves. He had read in her personal file that she can be quite hyper at times and that she is rarely seen without her trusty lollipop summoning scroll that is rumored to hold a nearly infinite amount of the hard candies.

Tousha stopped about ten feet away from ol' oakey and flashed one of his usual crooked smiles at Makoto. "You sure have a great taste in trees." He said, nodding his head towards the tree directly beside the kunoichi.

She was completely spacing out to the point in which she couldn't really feel anything. Her eyes were dulled too, just for that moment. Her face was in a natural blank, almost looking as if she was a doll that has yet to be painted upon. The leaves felt perfectly pleasant in her hands.

"NEEYAAA!"
She yelped when she heard the voice. It was familiar. She had heard it several times and over. Enough to know that it Awas the Hokage's.
"Ah, Hokage-sama."
She was uncharacteristically polite today. That was wrong. She wasn't like this! With a blink, she smiled a huge cheerful smile.
"Well, in that case, you wouldn't want to hear what I was thinking about the tree."

Makoto was her hyper self again. That was who she should be. She then noticed something lacking in her mouth, ah,
"Nuu~! That was my last one."
She claimed with a teary face and a pout. The pale yellow lollipop was on the ground, gathering dirt. She bent down and picked it up, then wrapped the dirty candy orb with the wrapping paper. She would throw it away later. However she really did run out of the candy in the pouch. Of course, not including her stockpile in scrolls in which she fished out from her bag.

She opened the scroll, being careful not to take out too much. Even she lost the count of the candies after a while. When the horizontal opened scroll coughed out the candies, she took them with deft motions of her hand and shoved them inside of her bag. After she believed she had enough for the day, she closed it and put it inside her bag once more. This time, she searched for the strawberry flavored lollipop, she needed it right now.

As she popped the candy in her mouth, she fished out another lollipop. The wax paper wrapped around the candy was red.
"Would you like one Hokage-sama?"
She smiled brightly. She was very well aware of the flavor, however decided to allow the dear Hokage-sama to figure it out. It was one of those sweet but extraordinary spicy ones. She had gotten them from a certain, errr, friend of hers. Her voice dropped a note slightly, however it was still fairly cheerful. All of her plan to go dive in a pool was forgotten. She was just curious.

Curious as in; he would be considered fairly young for Hokage, I wonder how powerful he is, kind of curiosity. She wanted to spar with him. He didn't look much, more like a middle aged man who constantly got yelled at by his wife... Or by his boss. She chuckled at the thought, probably causing a strange glance from the Hokage-sama. Didn't matter though, everyone already thought that she was weird anyways.

"No thank you, I've never had much of a sweet tooth. In fact did you know that they don't even exist? My mother had been lying to me all those years it seems." Tousha replied back, trying to sound as delusional as possible.

Makoto was about to realize that this "old" man could keep up with any of the strange youngsters in the village. Or maybe it should be the other way around? Either way, he wasn't about to be out crazied by anyone.

With a graceful step forward the Hokage appeared beside the ancient tree in the blink of an eye. He gripped one of the lowest branches and hauled himself onto it. It took him a few moments to get comfortable but soon enough the kage managed to find just the right position.

He sighed, already beginning to feel his entire body becoming more and more relaxed.

"So why are you out and about on this fine day? Personally, I've managed to free up some time out of my busy schedule. I can't think of a better place to spend it."

"Nee."
Makoto pouted. She half tossed the rejected lollipop back into her bag. Her facial expression shouted out a single word; BLEH.

Her thoughts were jumbled. Was this old, errm, pardon, Hokage-sama really Hokage-sama? He was... Well... He probably worked his staff to death. Makoto concluded, slightly off the mark, yet close enough. She didn't get this guy at all. So she just stared as the Kage climbed up the tree and sat on the tangle of branches. Was he actually graceful? Yea, he actually was.

"Boredom."
Makoto replied automatically in a mechanical voice. She blinked her eyes, she wondered if the Kage would spar with her. She looked up at him and with aid of her wires, she too climbed up on the tree. However she didn't relax in the branches, instead, she sat on a branch as if she was a cat.

"Hokage-sama~"
Her face was in a huge smile.
"Will you spar with me?"
She almost begged.
"Please?"

Her eyes were uncharacteristically serious. She really did want to spar with him. She wanted to see how far she was so far. She wanted so much to test herself. Stronger, that was her goal. She wanted to be a lot stronger, even more then she is now. No, she had to continue growing stronger even if it was stated impossible. She wanted to prove everyone that she could and will become what she had proclaimed. She would be strong as a genjutsu and taijutsu user who failed in ninjutsu. The entire thing was burned onto her mind.

It was strange, her obsession for becoming stronger wasn't just physical strength. She wanted to be stronger mentally as well. She wanted to be stronger as to become more of use and to no longer be a burden. No, she will no longer be a burden, she will be of more use. Makoto wanted to be able to do more. She wanted to do all she could since this village named her. Makoto, her name, it wasn't given to her by her parents. Instead people of the village gave it to her and raised her.

It was desperate though. It was more of a slow growing thing. As each mark was passed and failed, her determination would grow. However never desperate. No, never that. Mako knew very well of what will happen to a desperate mind. Those minds will slowly fall and become consumed by their desire to believe their wish. It becomes obsessed black mess, focused on a single point. No, Mako wasn't like that at all. As long as she was with the village, there was no possible way of losing her sanity like that. Even if she, as Genjutsu specialist, had to bring out those sanity, she wouldn't go and become insane herself. She had to conclude on it. She had to.

Tousha turned his head and looked into the smiling kunoichi's eyes, his own face a mixture of confusion and surprise.

"Sure, just try to go easy on me alright?" Tousha said, changing his voice to sound like the frailest old man in existence. "These old bones aren't what they used to be."

After saying this the kage kicked his legs up into the air and planted his hands on the branch below him. With a grunt of effort the black haired shinobi rose into a hand stand position before vaulting off of the tree's branch. He back flipped through the air, avoiding several other branches as he went, and landed smoothly on the ground below.

He looked around with a very aloof expression, his hand scratching the back of his head absent mindedly. "Hm... I think I just blew my "frail old man" cover."

"Nyaa!"
A giant grin was upon her face as she slipped her goggles down over her eyes. She laughed lightly at the mention of the Kage being a frail old man. She watched the Kage, looking all for like a cat observing something interesting. She laughed at the end though. Laughing so hard and in such an overly cheerful way that she nearly lost her balance and half fell. However, she caught a branch and simply dropped down to the ground.

"Which just proves that a jounin like me will have to actually be serious."
Makoto smiled through her odd colored goggles. Ah, this was trouble. She had never seen the Kage spar, fight, anything. However she was certain that he probably overruled her in everything possible. Well, that suited her fine. She just wanted to see how far she could go.
"I should be the one to ask that you go easy on me."

She stood in front of the Kage, approximately six feet away from him. She was in a basic defense position, however her weight was rather centered then towards the back leg. It was a slightly strange position, more as to allow her to make full usage of her flexibility. Her left hand was extended, overlapping the figure of the Kage as to allow her to measure his movements and react to them. Of course, that might be useless as he probably had higher speed then she did. For some reason, she really didn't want to use genjutsu.

Tousha eyed his new opponent carefully. She was clearly a talented Taijutsu user by the look of her stance, and considering she was a woman that probably meant that she was more flexible than he was. Tousha wasn't sexist by any means but it was simply common knowledge that women had more flexible muscles than men.

So for all of those feminists types out there don't worry, you still statistically live longer than us.

With one smooth motion Tousha whipped out the jitte wedged under his belt and darted forward with a sudden burst of speed. To the naked eye it would appear as if the kage had disappeared for a split second only to reappear beside the kunoichi in a crouched position.

The metal shaft of the jitte sparked brightly as raiton chakra engulfed it. Tousha attempted to slide the jitte across Makoto's right leg. If the metal weapon made contact with the Kunoichi's leg she would feel a numb sensation spread across the entire limb for several minutes.

After completing a short set of hand seals the user will charge their arms, feet, or weapons with an electric charge. If the opponent comes into contact with either the user or weapon it will result in a painful shock that also makes the muscles in the area of the impact go numb. This technique lasts as long as the user focuses chakra into each impact.

One moment the Kage was taking out his weapons, then on the next, he was right beside her, aiming for her back leg. Somehow she was lucky enough to catch a light glimpse and managed to swing her back leg in time to avoid direct hit.
"Ke."
She was shocked by the pain as the electric charges stroked her muscles. The shock was as if an ice cold water was thrown over her entire leg. So the Kage was faster in speed, no surprise there. Her back leg caved in for a mere second and she forcefully changed her weight to her front leg, thus keeping her balanced and standing.

Then with another moment, she was low on the ground, using her numb right leg in an attempt to catch the Kage in a low adjacent spin kick. It didn't matter if that connected though. She would use the force of the spin and by supporting her weight with her arms, she would push herself off the ground in a front flip as to put a distance. If it was just a match of speed, it was already made clear that she would lose.

Once she had clearly landed, she would form a single hand seal, however hesitate her fingers as to seem as if she was completing a sequence. The light twitch would most likely draw the Kage's attention to her hand seal and thus activating the genjutsu; Ranshi. The genjutsu, however, was just a trick to buy her some time. Seeing how there was no way that she could go through this without using genjutsus that required eye contact, she quickly adjusted the goggles so that now it simply held her hair back. She could still use those genjutsus, it'll just be harder to catch someone with goggles on.

Afterwards, she would then start a sequence of hand seals for yet another genjutsu. This was another time buyer and a test case in seeing how proficient the Kage was relating to Genjutsu. She created the sequence at the height about her neck, thus more likely to catch the Kage's eyes with the jutsu. Her right leg numbly throbbed and she was forced to shift her weight onto her left leg, thus decreasing her reaction speed by approximately thirty percent.

*Ranshi [Burning to Death]
C-ranked Genjutsu
Ranshi is a genjutsu technique which can be used in quite a few ways. The user forms a handseal, and as long as the opponent(s) see it, then the genjutsu will begin. The user and the opponent(s) will both light on fire and start to burn, from the feet up to the head, in the opponent's mind. Surely, you can guess that the opponent will normally start to freak out and try to get rid of the fire.

*Pin Hari [Pins and Needles]
D-Rank
After performing the hand seals and making eye contact, the opponent feels their arms, and legs fall asleep. It feels as if the blood flow to these appendages has basically stopped, making their movements a tad sluggish and just all around uncomfortable. This jutsu doesn’t really hinder a person, but it makes everything the do feel off. For those who are atuned to the way their body feels during battle, it can be extremely distracting. Tousha watched as his jitte made partial contact with the kunoichi's leg. Since the metal shaft of his jitte hadn't completely made contact with his opponent's leg she wouldn't be feeling the full effects of his attack, but her leg should be feeling pretty funky at the moment.

A crooked grin stretched across his face as Makoto shifted her weight instinctively to her good leg and performed a sort of sweeping kick at him, dragging her numb leg across the ground.

"She's got excellent reflexes, and even with a bum leg she manages to counter attack. Very interesting" Tousha thought to himself as he pushed off of the ground away from the kunoichi, as Makoto landed and activated her genjutsu Tousha would come to a skidding stop, a small trail of dust forming where his feet had slid across the ground.

It was a moment later that Tousha felt the effects of Makoto's genjutsu. His entire body felt like it was touching white hot iron and flames clouded his vision. Every pore on his body was screaming, but even as he felt like he was burning alive Tousha summoned the willpower needed to keep a level head.

He was about to try and extinguish the flames engulfing his body when something clicked in his mind. He suddenly remembered the kunoichi's personal file that was currently residing in one of his dozens of large filing cabinets. He recalled that the kunoichi was very skilled in both Genjutsu and Taijutsu, but lacked in Ninjutsu ability.

"So that means this fire is either a genjutsu or I have a disease that makes me spontaneously combust. I think I'll go with my genjutsu theory." Tousha thought to himself, performing the single hand seal needed for one of the most basic ninjutsu techniques he had ever learned.

"Kai!" the Hokage said, releasing himself from Makoto's illusionary technique.

Now that he wasn't distracted by searing hot flames surrounding his body Tousha didn't plan on getting caught by his opponent's second genjutsu attempt.

Before Makoto could finish her second string of hand seals Tousha rapidly performed his own set, his fingers and arms blurred by the speed of his movements. With a large intake of breath Tousha placed his hand to his mouth and expelled the chakra laced air through his index finger and thumb.

The chakra ridden air caught flame as it passed through the gap in his fingers and shot forward towards Makoto in the form of a half dozen head sized fireballs.

*Katon • Housenka no Jutsu [Fire Element • Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique]
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Katon • Housenka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals and then emits a series of small fire balls. The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.

"Nya!"
She yelped and quickly broke off from her seal. There was no way possible that she could dodge that. Her speed was just too low. With gritting teeth, she pulled a kunai from her pouch and flickered her wires to use the kunai as a weight. Okay, so now there was one way, that was to redirect the flames. She injected her chakra to reinforce the metal and set it at at a quick spin in the center of the closest fireball. With that, she dragged it to the next and so forth. She used chakra to control the wire as to wave hand seals.

She missed some and bit down on her lips when they connected with her left shoulder, right shin, and left knee. The burning feel was painful, however she made no move to stop her seals. Instead, she used her wires to cut off parts of the cloth that the fire was feeding on as to lessen the damage. It was something resulted from harsh training or simply the sheer size of the will power. She didn't seem distracted but the drop of red liquid that ran down from her torn lip.

If this didn't work, she was going to have to use that. She didn't want to though. It annoyed her and exhausted her when she used it. Even so, she disliked losing, so she might use that. That is, if she even got a chance to. It was a last choice thing, however she doubted that she'll use it. Instead, she'll just give up, it was the kage after all. She growled and sulked though.

By holding onto the wire and concentrating his chakra through it, the user is able to use the wire how he wants. The user can have the wire wrap around a target, shoot up in circles, or use it to set off traps. If the user lets go of the wire then he can no longer control them a part of his body must be touching them, if a part of the wire is cut off it can no longer be used with the other part but can be used if picked up on its own.

*Kokuangyou no Jutsu [Journey into Black Darkness Technique]
A-Ranked Genjutsu
Kokuangyou no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique which causes the ninja's opponent to be enveloped in total darkness after making direct eye contact and forming the needed hand seals. While in the black void, the ninja will be unable to see any incoming attack or threat. This lasts for 4 posts.

Kotoya had been making his way through the forest, trying to find the tree he had been hiding all of his illicit moonshine in. Oh man, that stuff is the bee's knees. The FrellBoes Elbows. The Peg's Legs! The Breenus Penis! But I digest. And yes, I do realize that the term is digress, but I figured that while I'm on the subject of body parts I might as well make that joke. And yes, I did just make the joke. You're just going to have to live with it.

Where was I now? Oh yes, the cruise booze. He eventually found said tree, but was immeditaely mortified when he discovered that there was a girl sitting under it. Kotoya seethed. She's probably trying to steal my faux merlot! How dare she! I've half a mid to reprimand her and give a VERY condescending, VERY uncouth, and VERY informative lecture on how it is not nice to steal the illicit moonshine of others.

Kotoya's speeding bullet train of thought made of screaming babies came to a screeching halt, rammed into the station, and exploded in a giant gas fire (which is totally bad ass by the way) when Tousha, the acting Joekage, appeared out of the blue and started to engage in fisticuffs with the girl! He could imagine the conversation went like this:

"THIS IS MY TREE. I PEED ON IT SO THAT MAKES IT MINE!"

"I DERIDE YOUR TREE OWNING CAPABILITIES, AND, I RETALIATE BY SEQUESTERING THE OWNERSHIP OF THIS TREE AND ALL THE TREE-Y GOODNESS IT HOLDS!"

"THEN WE MUST FIGHT."

"OKAY THEN. LET'S FIGHT NOW."

"I'M JUST GOING TO MAKE FIGHTING NOISES WITH MY MOUTH, ACTUALLY. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?"

"THE SAME THING YOU'RE DOING. OH, HOW COINCIDENTAL."

But I digest. See? There it is again. Anyway, Kotoya decided it was about time to talk some sense into these two barbaric individuals.

"Hold it right there, young sir and madame! I do believe that you are engaging in violent conduct, something that is frankly unacceptable given the circumstances. Lord Joekage, it is quite well known that you always have loads of paperwork to do, so why are you out here in a pointless fight with some lowlife jonin? And you, you're a grown woman! Compose yourself for once! Challenging everything that moves to a fight is no way to present yourself in public."

Kotoya just barely had enough time to finish his speech before ducking under a volley of fireballs.

Tousha watched as a few of his fireballs made contact with Makoto's body, but even though her injuries must have been incredibly painful the kunoichi continued performing the hand seals required for what he presumed was a genjutsu.

The kage could have very easily substituted himself with a nearby branch or he could have even thrown off the genjutsu user by creating a kage bunshin, giving Tousha the time he would need to finish the spar once and for all. But instead the black haired shinobi watched Makoto complete the final hand seal with a spark of curiosity in his eyes.

"Let's see just how talented she is." Tousha thought to himself, ready for the inevitable effects of his opponent's illusion.

A moment later Tousha's world went from sunny, green, and vibrant to pitch black and barren. This was a far more powerful technique than Makoto's previous attempt, one that even he would find difficult to escape from.

Even with the knowledge that this was, in fact, just an illusion, it took Tousha a considerably longer time to break through than her last technique. But he still prevailed, his vision returned to normal only moments after the genjutsu had been cast.

The kage tilted his head and gave the kunoichi an amused grin, "How about you try out one of those nifty genjutsu techniques on our unwelcome guest?" Tousha nodded over towards Kotoya was cowering from the battle.

"It wouldn't be wise for you to continue fighting me in your condition, but I'd like to see the effects of one of your illusions when the target isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer."

She growled lightly as once more, her genjutsu was broken. It annoyed her, annoyed her, annoyed her, annoyed her! The yelping words in the background did not help much either. Annoyed, annoyed, annoyed, annoyed. Perhaps just enough for her to use a single genjutsu.
"Hokage-sama, you'd better promise me that you'll pay for my hospital fees."
She just had enough, just enough of being annoyed and just enough chakra to use one last genjutsu that will end up causing her to faint or weak enough not to be able to hold it out for so long. It was either one or another, at a very unlikely chance, she might actually pull it off.

Throughout her time, she had learned to underestimate herself. So perhaps she did have enough chakra, just underestimating it. All of the searing pain forgotten, she smiled. A smile that had a slight shadow to it.
"Neeyaaa~ It has been such a long time since I've used this."
She stretched her arms and turned her face towards the newcomer.

"Heyys~!"
She waved her right hand at the newcomer. She had a charming smile upon her face and yet a shadow lingered. Ah, so annoyed. It must be one of her exploding days. If one could see her chakra, it would tell him or her that she was using yet another genjutsu. This one, however, was different then the others. It was something that she restricted herself of using frequently due to her low stamina. She was going to faint or collapse after this. She might be able to hold it out for at least a minute or two though.

S-Ranked Genjutsu
Utakata is a Genjutsu technique utilized by Koujaku Mako. The user will start this technique by using only one finger on his right hand. His target does not have to look into his eyes, a glance at the hand itself will be enough. Once inside the illusion, he can control the visions the ninja sees. This illusion can also be used to play on the fears of the target, causing them to see and hear those who they care about degrade them.

At first, it was all normal. And then the shitstorm began.

2 minutes later, Kotoya was a sniveling pile of emotions on the ground, whimpering softly to himself.

"I saw too much! WHY? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? WHY DID I HAVE TO SEE THAT? GET OUT OF MY HEEAAAAAD!"

The boy promptly threw up his breakfast right then and there.

Tousha made his way over to the writhing shinobi and kneeled down to his level. With a reassuring pat on the shoulder the kage said, "Maybe that will teach you not to barge in to something that clearly isn't your business."

Then he stood up and turned his back to him, whistling quietly to himself as he walked back over to Makoto.

"I must say, that was quite amusing!" he said with a wide grin. "Not so much the writhing genin on the ground but the spar was the most fun I've had all day."

"A genin..."
She muttered, her tone tinged with hint of annoyance... So that might explain why she was still standing and how easy it was to shroud the other's mind with her chakra. Even if it was an S-rank, if used against someone who offered absolutely no guard against genjutsu, it didn't waste as much chakra.

"So I wasted all my chakra because of an idiot genin."
She growled, in no mood to act hyper or anything else. She felt as if she would just go and kill this brat. She wanted to, however that wasn't a very good idea. She sighed, her head dizzy, she had spent way too much chakra. She blinked her eyes and sighed.

"Well then, I will be going to the hospital..."
Her body was weak from spending too much energy. That was obvious now as she stepped backwards a bit and held onto a single branch of the oak to support herself.
"If you don't mind."

Dizzy, dizzy, annoyed, annoyed, angered, angered, she wanted to scream. However she too had fun, although it was annoying, it was still fun. How that worked out, she couldn't figure it out.
"By the way, Hokage-sama, you owe me my hospital fees."
She pointed it out before she let go of the branch to head towards the hospital.
"If you haven't used those fire balls, I wouldn't have these burns that are in a desperate need to be treated."
She grinned wolfishly.

Soku returned Makoto's wolfish grin with a roguish grin of his own. "If I hadn't used those fireballs I could have ended up using something far worse." the kage said with a shrug, walking towards the exhausted kunoichi.

With one smooth motion Tousha swept Makoto off of her feet and cradled her in his arms. As he thought, she was relatively lightweight. It was like he was carrying a small child in his arms rather than a fully grown woman.

After picking the kunoichi up Tousha set off towards the hospital at a light jog before hopping onto the nearest roof.

"You think I'd just let you walk to the hospital by yourself in this kind of condition? No offense but I've seen burnt down houses in better shape than you." Tousha told Makoto as he leaped from one building to the other.

"Plus I figure you could knock off a certain portion of my hospital fine if I ran you there myself."

She mumbled. He had also allowed her genjutsu to hit on purpose as well. That did annoy her.

"Kyaa!"
She yelped as she was picked up. Blood rushed to her face as the result of surprise and sudden shock of pain that was the result of the rash move. She had half a mind to struggle, however it hurt too much. And besides, the Kage was moving already.

"That's cause a burnt down house wasn't in the middle of fighting."
She yelped, gripping the Kage's shirt with her left hand really hard. She was definately not comfortable with this at all. She flinched at each and every leap. Not to mention it hurt like hell from every single movement. Couldn't the Kage be more gentle?

"Orrrr~"
She started,
"Kyaa!"
And yelped as Kage made a particularly wide leap.
"I can just scream 'pervert' and ruin your reputation."
She claimed as she once more yelped due to the jump. Her wounds seriously hurt. She had tears in her eyes as she spoke.

"Or we could just take these stairs to the waiting room and get those burns checked out." Tousha said, gently setting the Kunoichi back onto her feet on the hospital's roof.
After doing so Tousha walked over to the door leading down into the hospital and opened it dramatically, waiving his arm and bowing in one smooth, graceful motion.

"Your burn ointment awaits, m'lady." the kage said, looking up and flashing one of his usual crooked grins at Makoto. Then an apologetic grin took it's place as he straightened up to his full height once more.

"Oh and sorry for the bumpy ride. They really need to get a new kage-transit mobile you know?"

"Yea, maybe that."
A tear escaped her as she was let down. She struggled slightly in the beginning, however the pain was becoming numb now. She stood after a second of incoherentness.

She pouted as the kage opened the door. She stiffly walked towards it, almost certain that she'll end up falling down the stairs. She merely stuck out her tongue as the reply for the burn ointment comment. She wasn't much of a lady, really. Heck, she would doubt the person's sanity if they called her a lady.

"Pleasant to know where my next tax payment will be spent on."
She replied sarcastically as she stumbled on the first step and had to grab onto the metal railing to keep herself balanced. She whispered something under her breath. Her breathing was rough and her knuckles were white as she held on the railing. It seemed as if she would lose her consciousness at any given moment. She hissed.

"Here, let me help. I'll be gentle this time don't worry." Tousha said as he stepped next to the injured Kunoichi.

He carried Makoto much like the same way before but this time he paid attention to where his arms were touching her body, with a little bit of guesstimation the kage managed to lift Makoto into his arms once more.

"How's that?" Tousha asked just after taking a slow step down the first stair. "Did I already apologize for the burns or not? Between the inferno genjutsu and the crying genin I don't remember."

"It certainly hurts less."
She replied sarcastically, however was too weak overall to continue her bitter words. She still flinched at every single movement, however it was apparent that she was experiencing less pain then before.

"No you didn't."
She replied, more of whimper as at that moment, the Kage had taken a step down.
"Owww!"
She yelped.
"Baka Kage-sama!"
She pouted with teary eyes.

"Well I'm sorry, but you were the one who wanted to spar so badly." Tousha replied defensively, taking another slow step towards the Hospital's lower floor. They had cleared tow flights so far and they were nearing the first floor. There the nurses would be able to carry Makoto to a private room in a much less painful way.

"I was all for sitting around on that tree and being a lazy bum but noooooooo." Tousha took another slow step forward, "Somebody had to disturb my peace and force me to shoot fireballs at them."

The kage paused and looked down at Makoto with a convincingly innocent face. "I'm not naming any names though."

She listened through the entire thing. Normally she'd have shoved a lollipop in the Kage's mouth, however not today. She was too exhausted. She was abnormally quiet through the entire thing. After she concluded that he had spoken his last word, she took her fingers and traced the line of the Kage's lips.
"Per."
A slow smile formed upon her face.
"Vert."

She smiled darkly as she retreated her finger.
"I can always make up a story you know."
She whispered quietly.
"Like how my clothes were torn."
She chuckled quietly.
"And how a freak accident burned me."
A dark shadow stretched over her face.
"I wonder how bad your reputation will be ruined. Kukuku..."
She chuckled.

Tousha only grinned back at the kunoichi and shook his head. The urge to drop the woman down the rest of the stairs crossed the kage's mind, but he probably couldn't make it look enough like an accident to get away with it.

So instead Tousha sighed and asked, "I'm a womanizer, not a pervert. There is a difference believe it or not. But I have to admit that you are the first woman that's asked to spar me right off the bat."

But then the kage remembered a certain Kaguya kunoichi he had once fought in the village hidden in the mist. "Well, actually, you're the second." he said in retrospect.

If he was phased by Makoto's threat he hid it well.

She sighed and simply hung there limp. She didn't reply to anything. After all, was there really a need for words?

She had to admit, she had lots of fun during the spar. She just never showed it. She hated how the kage played around with her, even so, she had to admit that it was fun overall. Annoying, angering, however fun. She mentally sighed. Her wounds didn't throb anymore. It was just that lack of chakra that made her feel all tired and helpless. She pouted at that.

After a while of silence, she opened her mouth again.
"Let's spar again soon."
She smiled delightfully.

Tousha looked down at Makoto as they reached the final step, a look of surprise on his face.

"Sure thing. Although next time we'll set a few ground rules. For example, first rule, if any of us want to sit around and be lazy we are entitled to it. Second rule, no fire. Third rule, make sure there aren't any obnoxious genin around us whilst sparring."

Tousha opened the door to the lobby and carried Makoto towards the front desk. "You want to add in any others or are we set?"

She pondered innocently for a while.
"No carrying the injured in a rough, unmannerly way."
She smiled.

"Other then that, I'm all set."
She replied cheerfully. Somehow she had energy, it seemed. She seemed... Hyperactive again. The change in her was almost scary.

"Nii-chan!"
She cried out cheerfully at one of the nurses. The nurse shook her head and sighed.

"You again Makomako?"
The nurse spoke in a harsh tone, however there was a smile within it. She then glanced at the Kage and looked back at the cheerful Mako. Her facial expression demanded an immediate explanation.

Tousha sat Makoto back onto her feet and nodded at the injured kunoichi, "There I was, minding my own business in the park and out of nowhere this lady jumps me and starts fighting. "You ain't got nothin' against me, buddy!" she screamed right into my face. Terribly rude if I do say so myself."

The kage dramatically directed his pointed finger at his own chest and raised his chin high. "Being the gentleman I am I refused, of course. But she wouldn't have any of that! In the end I managed to escape with my life by grazing her with a few fireballs."

After explaining this incredibly truthful and not made up tale Tousha looked at Makoto and then back at the nurse.

"At least that's how I remember it."

Makoto argued back. She was back to being a child again.
"Besides! You aren't even scratched!"
She practically yelled in his ears.

The nurse had a blank look for a while, then she motioned the Kage to allow her down.
"Well, let's treat those burns."
She sighed as she looked at Mako who was nearly falling over times and times again due to her burns and lack of energy. The nurse sighed and called for a stretched for the cheerful little Mako.

"Shhhh... sick people are trying to sleep, Makoto." Tousha said, raising his index finger to his lips. "Also do you have something for hearing loss?" The kage wheeled around and looked along the walls of the hospital. "Would somebody please answer that phone? It's been ringing since lollipop girl over here started screaming her head off."

A few of the employees at the counter turned towards each other and shrugged, then returned to their work scared that their leader had finally lost his last marble.

When one of the nurses wheeled over a stretcher for the injured Kunoichi Tousha helped her onto it with the help of the nurse they had met in the first place. Apparently the two knew each other, and by the way the nurse wasn't surprised to see the kunoichi here Tousha assumed that this wasn't her first visit to the hospital.

After a brisk silence, the nurse hit Mako on the head with her clipboard.

"Uwahhh! Onii-chan! That was mean."
Mako cried a very convincing cry with the package of tears included within it. Mako was about to scream some more, however the nurse produced a large hard candy and popped it inside of Mako's mouth.

"Makomako, shush! This is the hospital for the god's sake."
The nurse scolded the now happy Mako.
"And besides, what did you do with your lollipops?"
A hint of concern was within the voice.
"Did you get sick?"

Mako thought about it for a while, then smiled.
"I might have dropped it."
The smile was incredibly naive and innocent that one just had to believe her. The nurse simply shook her head and started rolling the stretcher. Mako was just on there with a large content smile upon her face.

"Well it looks like you're starting to feel like your old self again." Tousha commented as he walked beside the stretcher that was carrying Makoto. "I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing... but at least you aren't screaming in my face anymore."

The kage patted the side of the stretcher and smiled at the kunoichi. "That's an improvement I'm thankful for though."

Then Tousha turned his direction to the nurse known as Onii-chan and asked, "So how bad are her injuries? How much are we looking at in the bill department?"

Makoto pouted lightly at the remarks, however she kept silent. Actually, she was sulking. She turned away from the Kage, her cheeks lightly puffy as she sulked. She was rather like a child like this. The nurse glanced at her and sighed, however smiled.

"140 ryos."
The nurse claimed in a factual manner. She raised her eye brow and looked at the Kage.
"So then Hokage-sama, am I to guess that you will be paying Makomako's hospital bills?"
She asked. Apparently, this wasn't quite new to her anymore.

Makoto giggled.

Tousha returned the nurse's arched eyebrow expression and then sighed. "Yeah, I'll cover the charge." Tousha reached into his pocket and removed his leather wallet then unfolded it to remove a few bills.

To his horror the money pouch in his wallet was so empty even those moths you see flying out of cartoon character's wallets thought that it was too much of a run down dump to chill in.

Tousha slowly turned his head back towards the nurse and began to chuckle nervously. "I don't suppose you could just put this on my tab?"

There was a moment of pause and stillness. An awkward one in which Makoto gladly broke.
"Baka-Kage..."
She mumbled.

"Onii-chan, I'll lay for it this time."
Mako sighed and shook her head. The nurse laughed and agreed with her. Then after few seconds, both girls started to giggle.

"Makomako, come on now. Let's just go get your wound treated."
The nurse petted Mako's hair. Mako had a huge grin upon her face. Certainly, this was the reason why many males doesn't understand females. Especially when they start giggling the moment their eyes meet. It seemed as if an inside joke was passed through the air just through that eye contact.

Tousha didn't care if he had missed some sort of joke, he had just dodged a pretty expensive bullet. Easy come easy go as they say.

"Thank you very much ma'am. It looks like I clearly don't get paid enough for what I do." Tousha said with a shrug and a sigh. "I'll pay you back though, I promise."

The kage swiped his hands through the air in front of himself, completing an intricate self hand shake that he himself had created. He ended it with a snappy solut and said, "Hokage's honor."

Makoto mumbled sarcastically, her voice was kind of near silent, however just enough for the nurse to hear and giggle about it.

"As you say Hokage-sama."
The nurse proclaimed before arriving in front of a room. It was a medical treatment room, nothing more. She opened the door until it clicked and then wheeled Makoto inside.

"No shots."
Makoto piped in.

"Sorry about your luck."
The nurse proclaimed before taking out a white plastic package. She ripped the end and took out a small and thin needle. She also took a small bottle full of clear liquid. Was it just a hallucination? The nurse just looked plain ol' evil now.

Tousha had to agree with Makoto's view on the nurse, he was about as thrilled with needles as he was with his hair catching on fire.

Of course the kage had no problem with slicing someone to pieces on the battlefield or helping a medical ninja patch someone back together, but he tried to avoid needles at all cost.

This time the kage slipped out of the door before anyone could notice. Not his most daring or intricate escape plan he had ever concocted but it was still effective.

He grinned as he threw the hospital's doors open and walked out into the bustling Konoha street, knowing it wasn't the last time he'd see the infamous lollipop ninja.
