Yoru simply nodded “As you wish.” Yoru lowered down so that his eyes met the merc “So, where is the replicating woman?” Yoru asked rather politely, the Merc simply chuckled “Why would I tell you anything about our leader huh?” A smile fell across his face “Well you just told me she’s your leader.” He sighed loudly “Look, we can do this the easy way. You can tell me everything and I don’t hurt a hair on your head.” The merc spat in Yoru’s face “I’m not going to tell you anything!” Yoru heaved his fist forward punching the man in the eye socket, the bone around it cracked, it sounded like glass breaking.

His fingers grasped around the mans throat choking the life from him, his face turned red and his eyes grew large as though they were about to pop out of his head. He gasped loudly, veins poured across his face as the blood rushed to it. Yoru finally let go, the man gasped loudly, his hand moved through the air as though to be clutching for something to support him. “Now, where is she?” Yoru said softly, the Merc laughed and shook his head “I’m not telling you anything.” His speech sounded wheezy and had a whistle to it, Yoru had broken his windpipe.

Yoru weaved a single handseal then placed his fingertips around the mercs head, placing him under a genjutsu. The merc seemed to be dazed almost as though he was drugged “Where is she?” the man looked up “On her way to Konoha.” He spat out, Yoru nodded “What does she plan to do there?” he asked “Kill your leader.” Did he mean the current hokage or the Mamorinuku leader? He wondered “Who is our leader?” he asked “Kawa.” Whispered the merc, Yoru plunged his kunai deep into the merc’s chest stealing any life he had left. Spinning the kunai in his hand he wiped the blood away and placed it back into his pouch.

He looked at Aina “You were right.” He muttered softly, he gulped feeling a little ashamed of what he just did. His hand stroked across the stubble on his chin “We need to go, trouble is if she has my speed she won’t be far off the village.” He sighed loudly, Yoru pushed open the door of the tent. The smell of blood flooded his nostrils, he coughed to clear his throat as he started to feel choked up. Killing was something Yoru couldn’t get used to, but it had to be done.

He didn’t want to look at Aina or asked if he was ok, he knew it would lead to tears and he didn’t want to appear weak in front of his comrade. He leaped up through the tree’s running as quickly as he could, not even looking back to Aina to see if she followed. He leaped from branch to branch, darting through the forest towards Konoha. Kawa’s life was at risk, if the fake Yoru got to him and caught him off guard that could be the end for him.

By time Yoru had his hands at the man's neck, Aina had quickly turned around and stared out of the tent, a hand at the base of her own neck. She hadn't really expected him to use the same tactic, but at the same moment she realized it was stupid of her to expect anything else. They had talked about how the woman had taken on Yoru's appearance, his memories, of course she'd have his same tendencies. It certainly made her rethink a few things, including whether or not she'd be able to actually train with him ever again.

She was a bit startled, taking in a sharp breath as he walked past her and out of the tent, hesitating a moment before she followed in silence. She was a bit slower than Yoru, but she could at least keep him in sight as the pair moved.

The pair continued to run in silence, he finally looked over his shoulder just to make sure Aina had followed. There she was just a little behind, she was certainly quick enough to keep up with Yoru and he was glad of that. They’d need to move as fast as possible, the fake Yoru would be at least twenty minutes infront of them and they wouldn’t be able to catch up. Fake Yoru wouldn’t defiantly be there before they were.

He pushed himself even further, pushing himself to the max the blood rushed to his legs and he continued to leap and leap, they were hurting ever so slightly but he didn’t care. They couldn’t allow Kawa to die. They ran for a good hour or so, all in silence. Yoru didn’t feel like talking, he got in a strange mood once he’d been interrogating and didn’t want to unleash his snappy attitude at her.

There out in the distance was the green gates of Konoha and there was no Yoru in sight, he gritted down on his teeth and came to the gates. The guard looked up at him in confusion “Yoru…. Bu..but…” Yoru sighed loudly, the guard didn’t need to finish his sentence. He turned to Aina “She got in.” he said angrily, finally breaking the silence. His nostrils flared and his teeth clenched “Where did I go?” he asked the guard “T-t-towards the Mamorinku HQ.” he stuttered nervously.

Yoru dashed forward as quickly as he could “Aina, activate your Byakugan.” He said firmly perhaps a little too firmly, he almost barked it at her “We need to find her as soon as possible.” He ran towards the Mamorinku Headquaters and just hoped to god Aina picked up the fake Yoru soon. He’d apologise for his tone later, but now they had to rush.

Aina stayed silent as they moved, snarling in frustration under her breath at the guard's shock. Clearly the girl had already been here, and still looked like Yoru. She stayed with her partner, not seeming phased by his attitude. Fact was she'd heard worse from her father and even her brothers during training and other incidents. "On it." was the only response she gave as she activated her byakugan, and as they approached, she immediately started looking for Yoru in the building.

"Huh... looks like your imposter is in the waiting room outside Kawa's office, with the secretary... I don't see any bodies yet so there hasn't been any violence yet." she said after taking a look from top to bottom of the building as they arrived. "Direct approach? You don't strike me as a climbing-in-the-windows type."

“Is Kawa in his office?” he asked, she knew that she’d recognise it his chakra signature so she should know. It wouldn’t matter either way, they were going to get there and stop the fake Yoru. “Yes, she’ll be going for a direct approach. Kawa won’t expect a thing, the fake Yoru will just walk up to Kawa wait till his back is turned and stab him in the back, it’s how I’d do it.” He admittedly grumbly, this woman really took on the persona of Yoru.

He grabbed a kunai from his holster and bolted through the doors the Mamorinku headquarters and charged up the stairs as quickly as he could “Let’s go take him out now!” he barked, he slammed open the doors of the waiting room and threw a kunai directly at the fake Yoru who threw a kunai back deflecting it back.

Yoru and the fake Yoru sprinted towards each other, getting into a taijutsu bout. To no surprise they couldn’t seem to get the upper hand on one another. Moving at exactly the same speed and hitting with the same amount of strength and knowing what one another would do, it just wasn’t going to work. Yoru really needed Aina here, she’d be able to outweigh the odds.

"Yeah, I know." Aina replied to his remarks, shaking her head. She actually had to keep from finishing her thought out loud, that she knew he was the direct approach type because that was what his imposter had done to try and kill Aina. She followed Yoru up the stairs and into the office, much to the shock of the secretary. While she hadn't answered the question about Kawa, it had simply been because the answer didn't matter, fact was he wasn't around. But as they entered, the first thing Aina did was grab the secretary and practically shove the woman out of the office.

Once the woman was out, Aina ran behind the desk and leaped over it, letting Yoru be the distraction as she took a kick at the imposter, having tracked the pair's movements with her byakugan still active so she could know who was the real Yoru. She'd try to follow up the move with a kunai to the imposter's ribs.

The user then leaps with their momentum, delivering a strong kick to bridge the rest of the distance.

Yoru grinned as he saw himself fly backwards with a firm kick to the ribs and a kunai plunged into his ribs, however fake Yoru was now incredibly close to Aina and gripped her by the wrists and started to squeeze as hard as he could in attempts to crush them. This would give the real Yoru a chance to strike at the fake one. Withdrawing a kunai he flung it forward as firmly as he could towards fake Yoru’s tendon in his ankle. Cutting through like a knife through butter, fake Yoru yelped out in agony as he let go of Aina’s wrists.

This would slow him down quite a bit, suddenly however it dawned on Yoru that perhaps the fake Yoru hadn’t taken everything of the real Yoru’s. He hadn’t seen him perform a single ninjutsu yet, all pure taijutsu. Perhaps she couldn’t replicate or create ninjutsu or genjutsu she already didn’t have use of. If Yoru was in the place of fake Yoru he’d of used his love genjutsu already and put the two under, they’d be powerless to her. “She can’t use my nin and gen.” he said with a nod, he was sure of it.

The fake Yoru was slower and not as strong now, which would give the real Yoru the advantage he needed. He leaped forward with his elbow outwards slamming it into fake Yoru’s chest, the sound of her ribs crushing echoed through the air. Fake Yoru laid on the floor gasping for air, her ankle tendon cuts her chest ruptured. The fake Yoru’s appearance began to change, reduced into size taking on the form of a woman in her thirties. Yoru’s clothes hung off her, her hair was thick and blonde. Yoru and Aina stood over here “What should we do with her?” he asked.

Utilizing knowledge of anatomy and the ability to execute exacting precision, the user makes a ranged attack that leaves a target hampered. Crippling Shot is treated as a normal ranged attack, but it strikes an area of the body such as a hamstring or tendon. For five posts following the attack, the target is -1 Speed and -1 Strength. During these five posts, the target takes minor damage (the equivalent of a Strength 3 slashing attack) if they move at more than 1/2 their Speed.

B-Rank Taijutsu
Prerequisite: 7 Strength
To bring out the full power of the technique, the user falls into a crouch, pointing one elbow at the target and supporting that arm with another. With a leap, the user launches themselves at the target. With the supporting arm pushing against the smashing attack, the user performs a destructive elbow slam, drawing out all the user's strength and built tension. At the very least, the attack is capable of crushing medium sized rock formations and breaking defenses of equal strength.

Aina couldn't get her wrists out of the imposter's hands, so needless to say there was a bit of relief when the real Yoru not only took over the attack again, but took down the imposter fairly easily. Aina sighed with a bit of relief as she looked down at the woman and Yoru posed the question. "Not exactly my forte." she said with a chuckle, glancing over at Yoru a moment as she thought it over.

"I mean, I guess hospital and custody right? She did come here with the intent to kill Kawa, so I'm guessing she'll be arrested at the least anyway. I'm not going to suggest killing her though, I'm not really the type to say we should kill someone who has been rendered unable to defend herself." This entire mission had turned into something so very different than what Aina was used to. It was odd... and not just because she'd seen Yoru naked during it.

“Custody would seem best.” He said with a nod, he walked over to the woman heaved her up from under her arm then walked over to Kawa’s office door and pushed it open. Luckily Kawa wasn’t there “He wasn’t even in.” he said with a satisfying sigh. He dragged the woman towards custody “Thank you Aina.” He whispered softly, he felt bad for getting a bit grumpy with her at the end.

The pair were lucky this fake version of himself didn’t have all his abilities, if they’d of fallen under the genjutsu they’d of been in a sticky situation. He smiled up at Aina “I’ll let you deal with the paperwork!” he yelled loudly as he dragged the woman off before Aina had time to reply. The mission for the pair was over, they’d done as they were told and more.

"Next time wear an extra layer of clothes!" Aina shouted after him as he took off, shaking her head. It was a strange mission indeed. She had that damn mental picture stuck in her head from "Yoru" trying to kill her, and the fact that she'd seen Yoru himself in the nude.

Though the latter did give her something to tell Nobu she was sure he'd find a way to use to tease Yoru about later.

But for now, she was stuck with the damn paperwork, and so for now Aina turned and went to find the secretary she'd chased off, she was going to need her help getting the damn forms together.
