[Graded-Non Canon][Social] Generals' Game

[John CEENAAAA]

The Sun was still in it's rising above Konoha, not yet reaching noon. It was 10 in the morning and it was hot as hell. The air was particularly dry and everyone was praying for it to rain, to relieve them of the heat. Nevertheless a same group of kids was standing at the playgrounds, the boys that were there everyday, whether it was sparring or just hanging around.

Itsuki was sitting on a stone chair infront of a stone table, looking at the boy infront of him with stone cold eyes. They were playing shōgi and Itsuki was particularly good at the game. This opponent was no match for him, sweating at every move he made. Itsuki chuckled at the boy's moves, playing a psychological warfare.

'Check-mate.', Itsuki said. The fifth turn and he had already won. He smiled, breaking his poker face as he took the money on the table and placed it in his pocket. There was a bet placed and Itsuki won. He stood up, looking around. 'Anyone else?'

[HogoshaHa]

"GET BACK HERE KID!" a crowd of adults yelled as a twelve year old boy ran away, "HAHAHAAHAHA... once you catch me, i'll return!" simultaneously turning and running backwards as he yelled. He threw them up the middle finger, and they all stopped, their eyes widening at the sight, more than half stopped the pursuit, while the rest dedicated themselves to catching Sensu.

Sensu turned around, continued his escape, and laughed out of gratification; The boy jumped on top of a stand, "NOT YOU AGAIN!" yelled the stand owner, Sensu stood on top of it, staring at those that were still pursuing him, "You guys are slower than this fat guy Right here," his body turning once again, Sensu said as he pointed with his thumb towards the Fat owner, he began running, and then jumped on top of a building. "More than half of the people left, now all that is left is 4 pursuers, and one escapee," he thought to himself as he ran. Sensu turned his head to his right, as he was still running, "Check mate....ANYONE ELSE?" is what Sensu heard that caught his attention. He saw a bunch of kids sitting playing and watching chogi.

"HEY KID, GET BACK HERE! WE'RE NOT STOPPING TIL WE CATCH YOU,"they yelled, and some of the kids that were playing chogi, and those around them, got caught in the scenario. "YOU HAVE TO RUN FAAAAASTER!" he yelled back as he jumped off of the building, and rolling on his back once he was hitting the ground. He ran through the alley, and slowly stopped at a trash bin, "Gotta be quick" he whispered to himself and pulled out some cardboard boxes, retrieving his black jacket, his glasses, and a hat. He then walked off into the street slowly, so no one would be suspicious.

Sensu then walked faster towards his house, but just when his path led him left, he chose to go right instead, which lead him to the chogi players.

Sensu sat down, and everyone around looked at him, "I'll face you," Sensu said, "but not in a chogi match," Sensu said staring directly at the boy whom was offering the challenge, "He doesn't look much older than me...." he thought, and analyzed his shinobi ally. A burst of laughter was let out as he challenged this new friend.

Itsuki looked at the boy that sat down, eyeing him from head to toe, examining him. He leaned over to a small boy standing next to him, whispering something into his ear, his dead set eyes still gazing at Sensu. The small boy nodded and ran away. Itsuki pointed to his head before speaking. 'Training your brain is as important as training your body. Trust me on this one.' He collected the shogi pieces in silence and stared at Sensu, just sitting for minutes, a period of time that would make anyone feel uncomfortable.

The small boy from earlier returned, carrying Itsuki's equipment. Itsuki stood up, standing taller over the boy. He put on his flak jacket, zipping it, tied his kunai pouch to his right leg and put on his kunai holsters. He tied his forehead protector around his right upper arm and walked to the concrete field, approximately 40 meters long and 20 meters wide. Itsuki stood at the middle, waiting for Sensu to stand infront of him for an official shinobi kumite. He did the Seal of Confrontation, waiting for his opponent to do the same.

The boy took off his glasses, and laid them out on the table, "HAHAHA. But for now, we'll fight" the boy said and watched the kid bring Itsuki his stuff. Sensu was all ready, as he was constantly looking for something to do, he brought with him his equipment. He stood up and walked with Itsuki, he wasn't thinking so much about what he wanted to do, Sensu would do the usual: fight like himself.

He stood three meters away from Itsuki, digits raised as a seal of battle was formed. "I'm ready when you are," Sensu said and began to shift his both feet's positioning.

Itsuki looked dead serious as he was eyeing his opponent. By the looks of it, the boy was smaller than him, yet he was not to be underestimated. Itsuki twitched fast, drawing a kunai with his left hand and throwing it in the same motion. He aimed at Sensu's right shoulder, knowing that it would force him to dodge to the left. Itsuki charged at him, keeping guard with his arms while raising his right leg to deliver a powerful roundhouse kick to Sensu's chin that would propel him in the air if the hit made it.

D-Rank Bukijutsu
Prerequisite: 4 Speed
For this to work the user must have their kunai placed in a kunai holder, this allows the user to place their finger through the lip of the holder and into the ring of the pommel, flicking it up and out quickly catching the kunai, allowing for a swift draw.

"He's fast," Sensu thought as he watched him flick his finger, a kunai began flying towards him and Sensu knew he should have taken the initiative at that moment, but he never took his eyes off his opponent and the Kunai, "OH SHIT!" he yelled, falling to the floor, on his ass and the kunai flew right passed him, "Gotta keep away from him," he thought , while he was falling to the floor Sensu performed a hand seal and a bright light gray light began to be shone.

Knowing his opponent would be blinded for a brief moment, Sensu ran. The kunai was already passed him, thanks to his fall, "HAHAHa HE'S RUNNING AWAY FROM ITSUKI!" yelled a kid, Sensu gritted his teeth, "nobody is running!" he yelled back to them. He was now five meters away from his old position. He was getting his breath back, after all, his stamina wasn't the greatest.

~Light Release • Bright Light Technique
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user makes a very short string of hand seals and then focuses, causing a bright light to 'explode' from their body. It is roughly the equal of two Flash Tags and though the flash only lasts a brief few moments, the vision of any afflicted by it is dampened and blurry for 1 post.

Itsuki grinned as his opponent fell to the ground and started performed the hand seals. The flash caugh him unready and his vision became a little blurry so he stopped his charge while watching Sensu retreat. 'Running ain't gonna help you. I got all the time in the world.' Itsuki stood there, relaxing and waiting for Sensu to take the initiative.

Sensu was began Hand seals again, this time while he ran backwards, a barrier popped up around Itsuki, "I need to defeat him soon," he said, he began running, and jumped on top of a small shack, then jumping on top of a building. Sensu peaked over the ledge, and saw Itsuki within the barrier, "Hopefully he doesn't have much strength to take it out," Sensu thought to himself, while he drew his kodachi. He pulled his head back right when he saw Ituski was still in the barrier.

"He's fast, need to keep away, " he said once again. He was to Itsuki's right, twenty two meters away, hiding out.

D-Ranked Offensive Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: [Trigger]
After doing the needed hand seals, a cube barrier (5'x5'x5') forms around a target up to 20 feet away from the user's position. The barrier springs up at a speed of 4 and can be broken out of by a hit of 3 or higher or fading after 4 posts. With the use of [Trigger], the barrier will explode with the force of an exploding tag.

Huh? Itsuki looked suprised when the barrier began springing around him. Barrier style too, eh? 'You got skill, I'll admit that.' He rushed towards the barrier as soon as it started rising, hitting it with his left leg and dispersing it before it even fully rose up. He ran immediatly after Sensu, following him up the shack and on top of the building.

'You can run, but you can't hide.' Ituski ran towards Sensu, suddenly sliding to Sensu's right, stopping the slide with his palms and sweeping the opponent's legs with his left leg and using his right hand to push Sensu's chest to the ground.

Kyle watched calmly as the two ninja had their little training session. "Interesting, guess I should expect no less." he spoke, sitting on the branch of a tree. He was taking notes down, since he hadn't seen too many ninja growing up. It was as good a time as any to learn more about then, it was a ninja world after all. Scribbling down what he was seeing in his notebook with great details. "Most of this matches what they taught us in school." he commented. Leaning back against the trunk of the tree, he waited on the branch to see if anyone would notice him.

Sensu heard the sudden breaking of his barrier, he didn't even need to look for confirmation, he knew the barrier had been broken. SO he kept running.

"You can run, but you can't hide," were the words that echoed in his ears. Sensu grew a smile and began performing hand seals once more before the boy began running, "I got you right where I want you," Sensu thought to himself, as his kodachi began glowing with his natural chakra color: Light Gray. Sensu held it firmly with his right hand, and once Sensu saw that Itsuki was sliding, he instinctively released the light built up on the kodachi.

~Light Release • Becoming Flashy Technique
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After grabbing a weapon or small object and flowing Hiton chakra into it, the user causes the object to glow with their personal chakra color and essentially turns the weapon or object into a flash tag. The light generated by the object is essentially as strong as three candles and the infusion lasts for 2 posts. The 'infusion' does not make the object more durable in any way. During those 2 posts, the user can also release the Hiton chakra stored inside once and cause it to let out a large burst of light equal to that of one flash tag, which blinds any within a 5 foot radius of the object for 1 post. If the user does not release the hiton manually by the end of the two posts, the object will automatically flash.

Sensu's jutsu caught Itsuki by suprise, blinding him effectively. Nevertheless he swept Sensu's legs, throwing him on his back, but he didn't enforce the attack with hand like planned. After the sweep Itsuki ran away a couple of steps, taking a guard with both his hands, but he couldn't do anything until his sight came back.

Sensu was sweeped, "I wasn't fast enough," he said as he was falling, he then spun, allowing himself to land on the ground with his feet. Sensu then ran towards Itsuki as he was blinded, electricity began filling his hand and he smacked him at the neck, while his back faced Sensu, with his right hand. This would cause temporary distorted perception. After that, Sensu slid and attempted to sweep Itsuki, preparing for the next attack

Requires: 4 in control
The user will flood one of their hands with electric chakra that focuses on the opponent's optical nerves. A well placed blow to the head or neck will cause the target to have distorted depth perception for two posts, seeing things as if they where two meters further out than they actually are.

Itsuki heard Sensu's steps when he was approaching him but just stood still, expecting a hit, knowing that it would reveal his position. He shook when he got hit in the neck, but based on that he figured Sensu was behind him. Ituski quickly jutted his left arm's elbow backwards, aiming to blindly hit Sensu in the chest, based on their height difference.

After that he quickly started sprinting forward, avoiding Sensu's slide, and wanting to jump off the building. His sight came back, but unfortunately due to distorted vision he didn't see the edge and fell down, landing barely on his arms and scraping his chin and knees. He stood up, shaking the dirt off of himself and turning towards the building. Damn, how much chakra does he have. I bet he can't keep up this pace of jutsu.

After Sensu got hit in the chest, he stopped for a second and began panting, the good thing was that Itsuki was falling off from the building, "after these next two jutsu's... i'm done," he thought to himself as he prepared by running towards Itsuki, he watched as he fell, "Now!" he said, "barrier style: Explode!" he exclaimed, with a seal being performed. A barrier formed around Itsuki just as he hit the ground.

"Barrier Style: Trigger!" he exclaimed performing another hand seal, the barrier would explode on Itsuki. After that Sensu ran off to the edge, on the opposite side of the building, and sat down, his panting continuing from the fatigue. He then ran down the stairs, and peeped over to where the barrier, and itsuki, would be. Light gray dust was seen around where Itsuki's position was.

Taking a fall like that wasn't easy, 18 feet building. Lucky for him that he was able to pull himself together, but he was still hit hard. Just as he was able to stand up, a barrier sprung up around him.

'Oh shiet.' He ran towards one wall, barely hitting it to reduce it's power, but the explosion from the other walls knocked him out. He fell down with chest first, dust rising around him.

Once the dust had been gone, Sensu looked over, "YES!" he exclaimed, but saw that he was not getting up. Sensu then ran over to him and looked at him, "Is he breathing?" Sensu asked himself with a whisper, Sensu kicked him softly, "Hey, buddy, you good?" he asked Itsuki this time, "HE KILLED HIM!" yelled one of the boys. Sensu looked over at them with a wicked, killer, smile, "And if you tattletale, i'm coming after you all next," they shut their mouths and stayed quiet.

"Get me some water," he asked one of them, and a jug of water flew at him, "Yeah that could work! Splash the water on his face... good thinking!" one of the kids said, and Sensu opened the jug. He then began drinking the water, until it was gone, "THANKS!" some kids fell over, bewildered that he didn't throw the water at him, "GET UP MAN!" he said with a smack to Itsuki's face, he continued smacking him until he woke.

Itsuki woke up, sitting up slowly. 'You mother..-', but he coughed out some blood before he could finish the sentence. 'I can't believe I passed out.' Itsuki stood up slowly, looking around himself and dusting his clothes.

'I'm heading to Ichiraku's for some ramen. You should come with me.', he spoke to Sensu. Itsuki then turned to a tree where a certain spectator was sitting, whoom Itsuki noticed while standing on top of the building. 'Tag along!', he yelled to him before he started walking to the restaurant, meanwhile picking up a kunai he threw earlier.

Yuji jumped down from his seat, arms crossing in front of his chest. He followed quietly, watching the two as he moved. "Interesting bit to watch, I will say that." he said as he slowly caught up to the others. He had finished taking he notes and now he was looking over the two. One of them seemed familiar somehow, maybe something happened with one of them but Yuji couldn't remember for the life of him.

"Next time I won't be so lucky! Heh" Sensu said, as he watched a man come from behind him, he arched his brow when he saw him, "I've seen this guy before," he thought to himself, then turned around to go to the Ramen shop.

Sensu entered the ramen shop, "Hey, Old Geezer! Shoot me some ramen!" he yelled out, "Sensu, sensu, sensu... learn some manners," said an older lady that was sitting next to Sensu. Sensu was never one to call people by San, Chan, Kun, or any of that. He usually called them some sort of degrading nickname, or a nickname that was rude, but it was different with this older lady, "O... Hi Toshiki-chan.... how are you today!" Sensu said with a smile and a bow. "I am fine, boy, are you staying out of trouble?" she asked, Sensu kept his smile, "You know me, I never do! I like getting into fights, and winning!" he said, the woman's facial expression went from smiling and joyful, to heinous and angry, and smacked the boy upside the head: POW! "OW! What was that for?!" he shouted at the woman.

The older lady glared him down, "I hope you get beaten up so you can learn some manners!" She yelled at him, Sensu grunted, and then saw the pot of ramen, "Thanks old geezer!" and he began eating the bowl of food.

'Good afternoon.', Itsuki politely greeted the owner of the restaurant unlike his rude friend. He sat down on a chair in between Sensu and Yuji. 'One bowl of ramen, please.', Itsuki asked the old man who quickly went to the kitchen behind to make everyone's meals.

Itsuki turned his head to Sensu. 'I don't believe we introduced properly.', he said before shifting his head towards Yuji. 'My name is Itsuki, Itsuki Hara.' He extended both his arms, offering them both a handshake.

Yuji took a seat next to the others, setting down a few coins. "I'll take a beef bowl, please." he ordered politely. He ordered at the same time as everyone else, so when the chef left he relaxed on his seat.

Turning to Itsuki who had his hand out stretched towards him, he took the hand and shook it. "Yuji Tatsuya.." he offered up his name, for the greeting.

Sensu turned over to Itsuki, as he watched Yuji and he shake hands, "I'm Sensu, Awai Sensu, nice to meet both of you" Sensu said with a grin. he stopped munching on the bowl of ramen when he spoke, but then continued again after.

Itsuki shook both boys' hands with a smile before continuing to speak. 'That was a good fight back there. Of course, I didn't expect to jump off an 18 foot building willingly.', he said with a chuckle. 'You got some real talent, we should do a mission or two together, what do you think?', he spoke to Sensu before turning to Yuji. 'You too Yuji, you obviously got some wit about you, learning from watching fights.

The old man finally brought Itsuki's bowl of ramen so he started eating while waiting for a response from the two men.

Yuji got his food and he sat there giving his thanks to the chef. "Never underestimate the power of observation." he said with a grin. "Sometimes battles can be won by just watching." he said with a nod. Beginning to dig into his food with the chop sticks.

[HogoshaHa]

Sensu looked over at Itsuki, "Yeah!" he exclaimed, he hadn't been on a mission since he was with his team, "I'm down for a mission! You're fast so I know we could partner up good," he continued and then looked over at Yuji, still trying to figure out where he knew him from, but he quickly turned back around to face the kitchen.

[John CEENAAAA]

Itsuki finished his bowl of ramen with delight, it was extra spicy today, before turning his full attention to the guys. He took out a few bills and placed them on the counter to pay for the meal. After that, he took out a pen and paper and wrote his adress down, leaving it to the guys. 'This is where you can find me. I'll see about that mission if anything pops up.', he spoke with a smile. 'But right now, I'm gonna head home and take a nap. It's been a long day.'

Itsuki stood up from his chair, nodded to the guys and politely greeted the restaurant owner before leaving the place. Today was a good day. He walked in the direction of his apartment, ocasionally greeting people here and there.

Sensu grabbed the piece of paper, and then gave it to Yuji, "Aight, bro, I'll give you a rematch soon," he said with a grin, then watched Itsuki leave. He finished up his bowl as well, "Alright, bro, it was nice meeting you... I think...." he said with a hand raised for a fist bump, once he gave, or didn't give, the fist bump Sensu walked off. He started going to his training grounds, where he could train for himself.

Yuji gave a nod, finishing off his bowl of ramen. "Of course, nice meeting you two as well." slipping his hat on his head. Yuji start walking down the street into the town. "Who should I go watch now." he said to himself.
