The Bear and the Bark

Post by Reign » Mon Aug 10, 2015 8:01 am

The fourty-fourth training grounds did not earn their name due to it's fancy name representing the amazing woodwork to die for. In truth, this area was one of the only places where En could be left alone in his own thoughts, reflecting on the failures and lost oppurtinities that came with his walk of life. The undying strain of being a member of a clan that he had no interest in, coupled with a village that had no identity for the sum of it's parts. One would be forgiven for thinking the Forest of Death was one of the last places he'd expect to be bothered.

The prodigality of this little forest and it's nature was something that had never been lost to En, but for some reason he couldn't help but shake the feeling that something was amiss today. The thick and wonderous foilage was somewhat lacking in it's natural life and beauty. While the thick barks of the majestic trees that tangled and overlapped throughout the entire forest looked slightly marked and mangled. The last exams and trainings that took place here shouldn't have been to such a degree that the forest would be so damaged, En thought to himself as he attempted to investigate the area.

"Great..." En mumbled underneath his breath at the very idea of having to do work. For him one of the few moments of bliss and absolution that he has manifested themselves in the time spent training in the Forest of Death. To have such an intimate moment ruined by minor investigations that would ultimately end up with the culprit being some child trying to train at the wrong place at the wrong time felt disheartening.

Just as En began to slowly place his hands against one of the freshly imprinted marks on the bark of a nearby tree, out the corner of his eye a quick flicker of black and white appeared. Almost in a passing glance, from behind a thick beam of wood and greenery the image shot into En's field of view. "The hell?" En spoke in a deep and geniunely confused tone as he began to question what it was that he could have possibly had come across.

In his years as a shinobi, there wasn't anything he'd come across that would have explained who or what it was that decided to play this awful prank. "Alright, alright." En spoke as he stepped closer towards the tree which was now revealing more and more of the patterned individual who was clearly attempting to play some sort of prank and interrupt his training.

With a firm palm, En reached out and placed his hand on the side of the object and applied a attempted to grip it. "Alright. I think it's time you explain wha-" En spoke up just as he realized his grip on the object was a bit too 'loose'. It felt like he was placing his palm on top of a gelatin covered in hair. Before he could question the subject any further, a very loud and very massive voice came out of nowhere.

"OHHH!!~" The voice roared in a massive yell that slowly transformed into a moan. "I'm ssssooOOO SORRY!~" The roaring voice grew more and more 'eccentric' in it's nature. As En pulled away his hand, he was slowly met with the image of a massive black and white bear with a bright red face, and a massive brown vest. The beasts face was a bright red, and his mannerisms were less than what En was expecting.

Wiggling his hips side to side, the massive beats began to speak again. "OH MY~!" He spoke loudly as he slowly began moving closer and closer to En.
