[PB] Beggining of Begginings

Post by AlbinoLEPRECHAN » Sun Feb 26, 2017 5:09 am

Things became different, very fast, very dramatically, after the run in with the now Hokage. Ko, or now known as Kiseichū, had securely fastened his mask to his face. Grabbing his custome, Aburame black cloak, he swung it on, pushed his arms through each sleeve, and made sure his gear was properly organized and stocked. It was the first time, since he became a shinobi, that this man was fully covered from head to toe. Traditional ANBU garb was his attire now. Metal arm guards, shin guards, and a black, sleeveless vest that strapped firmly to his chest. The only attire he did not wear, was the under shirt most of the other members wore. Kiseichū made sure that his only identifying mark, would still remain as his tattoos, the best he can expose them. Between the white scarf he wore around his neck, and the black cloak, his tattoos could still be seen. Albeit a little masked, with the vest now, but they were still visible to anyone who paid attention to the teen.

Kiseichū was still very much young, when it came to skill and age alike, within the ANBU. However, that made his joining, that much more prominent in the teens eyes. He was being noticed, and if not for the prodigy he was, then it would very much soon be known. He had heard of others being inducted from his class, as well as other members from his household. He remembered reading, throughout history, the ANBU have always selected the few Aburame that stood out above the rest. It put a smile to the boys face under his pearl white mask. For now he thought, best to stick to what he was good at. He won't rock the boat just yet, he thought. First, he will find out the root of the ANBU, figure out its nest, and inner workings. Kiseichū may have been brought into the corp, but he knew he wasn't fully part of the group. He had seen the underground cavern, yet denied access to some spots. Told only captains were permitted beyond certain points of the base.

The teen gritted his teeth, an audible grinding noise came beneath his mask. With a clenched fist, he brought himself back from his stupor and to the present. Still holding onto his last piece of gear, his net, the now masked teen brought the weapon to securely strap to his back. He was ready, for what ever the day may bring. With his new found purpose, kiseichū all but tossed his old name aside. As well as, always keeping his mask on. He was a prodigy, but until he could become stronger, better, he won't take the mask off. His own little way of molting, as he put it. "Even butterflys become unknown under their cacoons, before emerging with their wings." He spoke out loud to no one, as he reached out his left hand to grasp a note that was delivered earlier on in the morning.

Opening the note once more, it read only a few words. Where to report to, and when. Very blunt, very vague, as the teen figured this was how all communication was within his new found rank. With a final look at his attire, a quick assessment on his gear, he walked out the door of his flat. Still within the Aburame compound, on the end of the residential complex, kiseichū took one look up at the sky, the sun just starting to rise, as he leapt to the roof and began his trek, with all his speed, to the rendezvous point.

On his way, the teen began a quick analysis on the recent events leading to today. He was assigned to a squad, where he was only given the names, code nes he gathered, of each member. Apparently he was a squad of three, including the captain. He began to remember the names of the other two, as he thought back to very quick debriefing he was given in the ANBU compound. The first, and captain, Fukuro. As well as the second, Konchū. The teen knew nothing of the other two besides their names. It was almost like the first time he was assigned to a team as a Genin. This time however, it was only himself and one other meeting. Kiseichū assumed it would obviously be the captain, Fukuro. Probably to assess what the new comers skills really were.

With the last thought, the teen dropped from the tree limb he recently landed on, and found he was in a clearing, just outside the gates. After passing security, he noticed the ANBU made leaving the gates a bit easier. Being told to meet outside, probably cleared the red tape faster, but the new found freedom from the cage, never got old. Getting his stance together, he leaned against a tree at the spot told to meet at. Here he will wait for the other to arrive, with a quick glance, from behind his mask, he wondered if they were already here. Quickly, he let a few of his friends leave his body. One in each direction, hovering just above the tree lines. There he would connect to each of them, and have eyes in every direction on anyone approaching. He could see them coming this way, and get an assessment on who his new teammate is like. Now, just the usual waiting game.

Aburame Mai truly wasn't used to it all. This strange concept of being part of some organization where secrecy was so key, she couldn't know who her teammates were. Of course she had nicknames and at times a vague idea of capabilities, but that was about it. Of course when she worked with Yosuke, she knew who he was, nickname or not. But today was so very different. She only knew he was known as Kiseichū in the organization, other than that she knew nothing else about him. She walked in silence, hands folded before her and her mask on her face, yet her clothing was the same as it had always been. She was still pretty new to the organization, and unsure of what all she would need to change. Clothing hadn't even crossed her mind yet.

Her mask was mostly the standard porcelain white, but deep blue markings came up from the eye-holes much like antennae of a bug, and mandibles at the mouth piece. The mouth of course was made to alter Mai's voice enough so she didn't sound like herself, she sounded a few tones lower, and almost mechanical in some ways. She both loved and hated her mask for that. It was strange to be someone she wasn't, but at the same time that wasn't what was happening at all. It was a confusing notion.

She hardly acknowledged those at the village exit as she walked, and Dai took off from her shoulder with a few others, coming back with very little news, except for an encounter with one similar of their kind. "I suppose with a name like Kiseichū I shouldn't be all that surprised." She remarked aloud as she came near the tree where she would meet her partner for this mission, giving him a simple look as she arrived. "I suppose in kind you aren't so surprised given mine of Konchū either." she added as she stood before him, her hands still resting in front of her, fingers interlaced.

Standing, or more like leaning, against the tree at the rendezvous point. Kiseichū waited, and within a few moments, small insects came close by. Flying in the sky, just within eye sight, the ANBU teen sent his own insects to investigate. His kikaichū's already in the sky, watching for anything or one, collected and went into a formation he made for them. What he called, interception formation. The cloud of his own insects, dwarfed the new comers in size. But to the Chuunin's surprise, they were part of the aburame clan insects.

Different types of the kikaichū have been recorded, each with their own unique abilities. But there was three to be known amongst the house, as common, or basic. The first was his own hive, the Kikaichū. Useful, and destructive, and his best friends. The others have their own uniqueness to them, and their own properties. Neither of them, have the destructive force as Kiseichū's own hive. Then again, none of the other Aburame can be as deadly as the prodigy of his house. It was fitting that his teammate was another of his house kin, with a name of Konchū, he wasn't surprised.

It was then that a figure came around the side of the tree, looking straight at him under their mask. By the look of the body frame, even under the traditional garb of his kin, the Chuunin guessed it was a female, and she was short. He wondered about the basics of his companion, age, rank, etc. None were the protocol for ANBU operatives, as such, he knew that ever mission from the organization was typically a time sensitive situation. As such, the teen stood to his full height, and bared his full attention on the person before him. Recalling his kikaichū, he'd adjust his mask. The mask, was the typical white, only two eye holes, and no mouth opening. In fact, the mask was blank. No color designs to it at all, but a simple blank, flat, mask.

A slight incline of his head, he spoke up. "Konchū, I assume. Kiseichū, let's get to this shall we." His voice was monotone, and would almost be impatient. "I also assume you know the scope of our work today?" Even without an answer just yet, another ANBU member dropped from the trees. Black cloak, crow mask, and with their hood up. They landed, with great finesse, and stood to their full height. Reaching behind the masked figures back, they pulled out a scroll and extended their hand out for whom ever to grab it. Kiseichū looked them over, and simply replied to the new comer. "Seems we have our third now?" Looking over to the female, Konchū, he motioned for her to grab the scroll.

He never liked to be front and center, yet he was curious on many things from this woman, and the new masked person. Their cloak was much more loose fitting and was hard to tell of the gender, but he figured them to be a male. Yet, after his question, the new ANBU shaking their head no. It caused him to tilt his own head to the side in confusion. "So only the two of us? I was under the assumption that each cell worked as a three man unit." It didn't matter if Konchū took the acroll, because in a few seconds, the masked figure let the scroll go and jumped back into the trees, to disappear from the area. Clearly letting the contents of Kiseichū's question and of the scrolls remain lingering for the two remaining to flesh out for them selves.

A powerful faction of pirates from Jinjeku Island Have landed on the shore of Tea Country intent on creating a base of operations, from whence they can raid the waters around the Country with impunity, free from the influence of the other pirate factions of their home island. The Daimyo of Fire Country has risen in defense of his neighbor, but the time it would take for him to raise his forces would allow the pirates to dig in, thus creating an unnecessarily prolonged conflict. As a result, the Daimyo has commissioned a B rank mission with the goal of destroying three key bridges in the South of Tea Country. As the rivers are too treacherous to be navigated by boat, this would effectively cut the pirates off from the sea, and the supplies that they would need to operate effectively.

Though her new partner didn't wait for an answer, Mai wasn't giving one anyway. As another dropped from the trees in full ANBU uniform, the woman reached out and took the offered scroll, opening it carefully to read its contents before offering it to her teammate. "Perhaps our third is unavailable, or they thought we were sufficient to handle this." she spoke simply.

Though he wouldn't be able to tell due to the mask, Mai was giving him an annoyed look. He was looking so hard for their third, the woman felt like his mind wasn't on the mission. Without a third she silently hoped his mind would come to task, rather than focusing on someone who wasn't there and clearly wasn't going to be there.

"I suppose we go with the nearest of the three first." she remarked, when she was sure the other had read the scroll's contents already. Though Mai frowned behind her mask. "But that could lengthen our time in the field as well... to do this quickly perhaps go with the furthest, and work our way backwards. The last bridge can be saved for when we are about to make the last trek home..." her mind worked over other ideas, realizing that perhaps that would give away too easily where they came from, and draw retaliation home. Perhaps they should find a way to make it seem as if someone else was at fault? Or was the point to make it clear Konoha had a hand, to teach these pirates a lesson of some sort?
