As Takeo approached the Water Spirit he heard the sound of footsteps approaching quickly from behind, sparing a quick glance without taking his eyes off of his opponent he noted Fanho’s presence, smirking proudly as he saw the tremendous display of skill. Five shadow clones and each performing a rasengan of remarkable size, that was a feat worthy of a Kage and somehow this teenage Jounin had managed to perform it with ease. It was hard to imagine that he was prepared to fight such a powerful Spirit afterwards as evident by his comment but clearly Takeo had underestimated how much the boy’s chakra pool had grown. As the chains tightened and shot out spikes sure enough his target de-materialized. Though from what Takeo knew from his extensive research into elemental bodies there was always a weak point, a core somewhere that if struck meant certain death. Not only that but regenerating one’s body still required quite a bit of chakra so regardless his jutsu had not been in vain. He had covered the majority of the Spirits body in chains and impaled it with spikes for good measure, the only parts of the body that hadn’t been impaled were its hands, forearms, hip and head, meaning that if it was an elemental body it had been lucky enough to narrowly avoid a lethal blow, though now Takeo had significantly narrowed down its weak point. The only places where a core might be present would be its head or lower abdomen/hip area. Naturally the head seemed like the more likely location but he would attempt to strike both just to be certain.
The Hokage chuckled lightly, comforted by the young Jounin’s presence. It was a welcome feeling to not have to worry about the young man getting in the way, he had proved his competence already and had even helped the man take down a Genma once, though at the time Takeo was commander of ANBU and masked. Still, he had utilized a variant of his earth chain jutsu then too as well as a variety of other Doton techniques, it might just have been enough for a kid as sharp as Fanho to make the connection on his own though especially now that he was a member of ANBU himself and knew Takeo had formerly been a member it should have been quite obvious. His former codename and signature Dog mask after all were quite well known and respected among ANBU members.
“Not my fault you’re slow” he retorted lightly. Falling back Takeo would move next to one of the Fanho’s.
“Even elemental bodies have weaknesses. A core that holds them together, aim for the head or hip. It’s got to be in one of those places” he whispered, conveying to him that his chains had indeed served a valuable purpose.
As the waters continued to rise Takeo ran through a variety of plans in his mind, waiting to see if the spirit would reform. The water levels were rising, easily 10ft deep now and flooding the land for miles. The man hated wasting chakra but he had to do something about this terrain disadvantage and save any potentially affected civilians. His hands were forming seals as the lightning cracked in the sky and the ground began to rumble,
“That seems ominous!” he stated, bracing himself.
“Keep him busy and on the defense” he stated to Fanho, finishing his handseals while Suijin was reforming. The Spirit was still about 40 meters away from them. Suddenly the water levels would begin to lower, draining like the plug had been pulled on a bath tub as Takeo created a large section of earth to open up, the edge of the square pit was 10 meters away from Takeo, each side 15 meters long and a massive 25 meters of depth. The currents would reverse towards this hole, lowering the water levels across the flooded area to no more than a foot or two. If there were any civilians close enough to be in danger they would have one last chance to escape before the battle heated up once more.
Takeo noted that the Water spirit while still quite large was significantly smaller now, hopefully that would make landing blows a little easier for them. As the other spirits emerged Takeo quickly assessed the situation,
“Finish off the Water Spirit, I’ll take down the lightning one” he stated, forming two relatively brief sets of handseals as he turned and rushing the new foe. An earthen armor would slowly form around the man granting him some defense at least. And then, ensuring he was at least 15 meters away from Fanho or whichever of his nearest clones he had been speaking too, an aura of wind would form around Takeo, constantly cutting anything within a 15 meter radius and offering an additional protective aura. He would likely already be upon the Lightning Spirit, crossing whatever remaining distance between them in a matter of a second or two and forcing the Spirit to endure the cutting winds as the did battle. Drawing his sword the Hokage would slide across the ground, the water in the area being blown back by the winds, as he slashed at the Spirits leg, aiming to sever it completely and keep moving for another 10 meters before changing directions digging his feet into the ground, charging with much more intensity this time as he targeted the spirit for wherever it now stood, moving in as the ground shuttered under his advance, hopefully ensuring a much greater success rate as he threw his sword with 45 strength and speed towards the creatures chest, waiting for it to make contact before leaping at the creature, roaring ferociously like a wild beast as two earthen blades appeared from his armor which he aimed to stab into either side of its neck. He wasn’t entirely sure how physical the spirits form was though between his attacks and the constant cutting winds surrounding his every motion he hoped to deal some significant damage. Adrenaline pumped through the man’s heart, this is what he lived for and he couldn’t be happier to put his life on the line doing battle for the sake of protecting his village and all of their people.
Earth Element • Earth Core shift
A-Rank Ninjutsu
After forming a set of hand seals Takeo can either raise or lower a large section of earth. The section must be a rudimentary shape such as a square or circle with the maximum dimensions of 15m by 15m. The earth moves at a speed of 25 and when lowered from under an opponent will leave them temporarily suspended in the air if their Taijutsu stat is 20 or less, conversely if the earth is raised beneath an opponent, due to the sheer force one must have 25 strength or higher in order to move freely, whereas those with less than 20 strength will be unable to move for one post, often being forced to their knees. The maximum depth of this technique is 25m and Takeo must be within 10m of the affected earth in order to activate it.
Doton • Combat Armor
B-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 24 Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals Takeo will flow Doton chakra throughout his body, enveloping himself in a dark brown stone suit of armor. The armor encases his clothes and weapons holsters though leaves them accessible enough to draw from. Enveloping his head is optional and if opted to only his eyes will remain exposed. All in all the stone is about an inch thick and capable of defending against a strength of 30. Throughout the 5 posts in which the armor lasts Takeo is able to extend or retract stone blades which extend from his forearm past his hand at a speed of 18, the maximum length of these blades it 2ft.
Fuuton • Godly Wind Aura
B-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After forming the necessary hand seals, the user will thrust their hands forward as a vortex of wind blasts outward from their body with a speed of 20. The wind blows all around their body, pushing outwards to a radius of 15 meters. Being caught in these swirling gusts of wind will push one back with a force of 20, also clearing away particulates in the area. This Jutsu fades after three posts. Being caught in these winds will result in deep cuts throughout the victim's body, capable of slicing through trees and light armor with ease.

C-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 15 Taijutsu
During close quarters or after engaging a foe via a rush, the user quickly forces themselves back as they divert body weight downwards typically causing a quick and controllable slide under the opponent's field of control, usually between the legs or to the side. During this slide the user attempts slashes, stabs or even hooks or drags the opponent down with them to open up for more techniques or just deal considerable damage.

A-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 35 Strength
A devastating dash attack known for its ability to cause tremors in the earth, the user will take a brief moment to ready themselves, digging their foot into the ground and building up power in their leg. Then in a burst of movement, the user will kick off into a dash so hard that the force they put into the earth actually causes the ground to rumble with tremors radiating out to 15 meters, causing anyone with a Taijutsu stat 10 or more underneath the user’s strength to struggle with standing or moving even at a walking pace. This makes the perfect cover for the Toryu user to charge into battle headfirst as it makes it more difficult for those who aren’t taijutsu practitioners to retaliate against their advance.
On the border of Wind country and Fire country water levels had begun to surge heights never seen before. This caused major flooding in all of the nearby villages, and the water just seemed to keep coming. However, the oddest part about it was that the excess water was coming from downstream, instead of upstream like it should. As the water level grew and grew a form began to rise from it's depths. The spirit was the size of a mountain, had four equally massive arms, a long, flowing beard, and no legs. With a simple swing of his arm a tidal wave was formed, and began to speed across the land. ”Bow before the king of the seas mortals!” His voice was sounded of waves crashing against the shore, and traveled for hundreds of miles.
