[Graded][Investigation] A Terrible Day for Rain

phpBB [video] Fanho teleported instantly to the vicinity of their missing host. It had been a while since they'd return from steam, reports of a battle in the area however no bodies to be found. It required a meticulous eye to look into. The regular shinobi forces were skilled trackers but none on the level necessary to track this. A person capable of taking down two S-rank shinobi, a genma host, and a Bannin of Sunagakure.

It was no secret the two were traveling together, but someone with the knowledge they were moving together? A mole perhaps? The Awai walked cloaked until he came across obsidian, hardened across the ground with singed trees around. His hand graced the top of it feeling the rough structure of the cooled molted rock before digging his fingers in it and pulling a piece out crushing it between his fingers into a jet black ash. He closed his eyes as he felt the chakra lingering within. Despite the jutsu being long and done away with, all things in the world had chakra flowing through them, it just required the right focus to sense it.

Despite the molten mound he'd assume the bodies would lay underneath, but instead he sensed nothing. Not even the slightest signal that they were located there.

He stood up from the obsidian marking its chakra signature for later remembrance. Fanho also took note of the crow feathers surrounding the area as he picked one up flexing it along the spine before stowing it away. His mind traced back what evidence he had at hand. No bodies, clearly looking extract the spirit, but what use would Souta's be? It clicked together that they'd be the perfect bounty, two high ranking Bannin. Surely the price on their heads would be great. The attacker wouldn't even need the bodies after spirit extraction.

Enma perhaps? Fanho shook the thought from his head, he could sense the chakra from this feather was not of this world but of a spirit. Much different than Enma's albeit not natural, but among those here in the physical plain crows. He could sense a sinister chakra arising from them as he felt the feather once more. Its soft nature betraying the ill intent behind it. Not to mention the lack of explosions that Enma was known for, his crows explosions echoed in his ears as he remembered the invasion. It seemed like a sloppy cover-up, but perhaps the first time this person has attempted this.

Well if it even were Enma where would Yaku be? The two hardly would separate due to their mischievous nature, but the duo hadn't been seen since they secured the Hyuuga scrolls. To come out at a time like this to take down a genma host and Suna Bannin while not out of their skillset is certainly an odd come back. It had to be someone with the intent to take the Genma, if they were interested in the Genma they would've done so so long ago when the hosts were just kids like Fanho.

There was always a lead Fanho could chase if he desired, track down bounty offices. Their logs would leave traces, a paper trail. Despite their nefarious dealings they were worse than villages about their documentation, always needing to log, and never desiring to owe anyone nothing. Rather expecting it all owed to them in return. However in his current attire and standing, Fanho would most likely be refused any information. These bounty offices had their own muscle and their own code. He'd need to disguise himself if he went down this route.

Fanho stood up as he looked towards the sun kissed sky. It was getting late and he didn't have much of a trail to follow. However he racked his brain on where to start. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath inward as he let the scent in the surrounding area fill him. He could catch the scent of three people, clearly Masami who he recognized off the bat from their closeness in the village, however he smelled two that we're similar. Oddly referential of their similar residences. Albeit most people didn't pay attention to the scent of people, it was clear indicator of where a person was from due to their scent.

Another Sunagakure nin scent? That's odd... The Awai glanced at the ground worrisome as he took a deep breath.

He took note of the scents once again trying to parse through them. The others didn't smell of this world, the crow feathers, the others that he felt confident to place here. They weren't humans or people with the scent of the world. They seemed to allude to spirits.

Fanho dug a little deeper feeling the chakra signatures once more as he felt traces of jikukan. The world was always self correcting so it wasn't surprising that it left tears in the world. That was the consequence of messing with Space/Time, it always left a rip to be seen if not corrected. This chakra signature Fanho would notate, he wasn't quite ready to invade this user's spirit realm, but it'd be a dead giveaway as to whom attacked the two.

With the weather preparing to set in with a rain Fanho tugged on his hood as he prepared to move forward with his investigation. He collected all the evidence he needed here. Its a terrible day for rain...
Jutsu UsedShow
Konoha Smash • Heightened Prowl
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Due to intense training, Fanho's sense of smell is impeccable and allows him to follow a scent for up to his 25 meters meters with near pinpoint accuracy. If it is outside of that range to a max of 50 meters he can only get a general direction. He can even detect scents days old and track them with this unless there has been some sort of scent removal technique or severe weather conditions. This also allows him to distinguish between different scents of people and companions.

Konoha Smash • Full Memorization
A-Rank Discipline
Fanho has trained his mind to memorize details to the finest touch. He can memorize materials, structures, and even the minor cracks/faults within that are hidden to the naked eye. With this jutsu anywhere that Fanho has been, seen, touched, experienced, learned, or sensed is fine stored within his brain and can be recalled at any time to the exact detail, time, place, and facts. This is useful for memorizing the layout of buildings, taking note of weaknesses, or memorizing enemies fighting patterns, codes, or names. When combined with his massive sensory ability, Fanho can remotely learn the physical layouts of places, and commit it to memory.

*[Sensory Style • Augmented Sense]
A-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: *[Sensory Style • Broad Sense]
This jutsu is an even further extension of *[Sensory Style • Broad Sense]. With this jutsu, a sensor sacrifices quality for quantity. They can view to much greater distances compared to a normal sensor, but their ability to differentiate between people starts to become muddled, meaning multiple people in close proximity will appear simply as a large chakra mass, without the users being able to distinguish how many people are there. By sitting down and meditating, they are able to start to sense further and further away. For each post of meditating, they are able to see one third of a mile out, up to a max of posts equal to 1/2 their control (rounded up).

Open Space: Tail - Traced but didn't open the portal
A-rank Ninjutsu
Fanho will channel Jikukan chakra before feeling out the area around him sensing specific Jikukan chakra traces, such as portals. Due to the world being self correcting, little tears in the universe can be sensed when a portal is opened. With Space-Time, Fanho can reopen those tears in the universe and travel to another portal user's location following them. If this portal leads to another user's realm, Fanho will have to pay the cost due to forcefully entering their realm. However once the tear is used once it cannot be used again to freely move between them.
