It's not sleepy time yet!

Leiko sighed to herself as she walked a path leading down a mountain. She had just spent the day completing a tiring mission. It had only been a D-Rank, but Leiko would rather take a C or a B. D's normally involved a lot of tiring pointless things that didn't really train a Jounin ninja in anything but their patience. As she walked, Leiko looked up at the sky, looking for the sun. She was nearing the bottom of the mountain, and was curious as to how much time she had to get home before it grew dark.

Unfortunately, Leiko forgot to watch where she was going while looking up at the sky, and she tripped over a root sticking up out of the ground. Her tiredness was proven when she wasn't even able to stop herself from falling. Her body hit the ground with a thud. Groaning, Leiko sat up and slid over to a tree before leaning her back up against that very tree. She rested her head back on the tree, and allowed her eyes to close and to rest.

She decided to just stay where she was for a few minutes to regain her energy. She kept her body still and her ears open, on the chance that someone might come across her. Leiko being the careful ninja she was, already had a Jutsu picked out in case someone tried to attack her while she sat in such a vulnerable position. With a sigh, Leiko started counting to five hundred in her head, promising herself that when she reached five hundred seconds, she would continue her journey home.

Bonshou walked up the mountain as he returned from a mission. He had to deliver a package to a small village at the base of the mountain. Since it wasn't a difficult task Bonshou went alone and it actually gave him time to think. Also it would give him time out of the village to practice his music. In fact he decided to go to a nearby tree and sit down. He set his Guzheng aside and pulled out his ocarina. He began to play a new song he had been working on for a few days now and felt like playing. Soon the sweet melody was being carried along on the winds.

Leiko quickly started when a new sound hit her ears. WHAT!? I wasn't sleeping I swear! Wait...what...? Hey eyes half closed, Leiko stood up and began yawning. She hadn't been asleep. She was just...resting her eyes. She yawned again though, shaking herself awake as she tried to figure out what it was that stirred her from her rest.

She finally realized that it was the sound of pleasant music flowing through the forest. Curious about this, Leiko decided to follow the sound before she went home. Using her skills of a normal human, Leiko followed the sound and smiled when she finally came upon a young man playing an instrument. Leiko leaned her body against a low branch and listened while remaining quiet. The boy was quiet talented, and she was enjoying his music.
