(Mission: Mission for Summon)

You've been on the boat for about ten minutes now and you were finally nearing the island. It was covered in tall, thin trees. A river cut a path through them that ended in a small waterfall near the front of the island. You hadn't arrived yet, but even from the distance the place seemed serene, almost mystical.
"Alright."
As if on queue, the boat hit the beach of the island, coming to a stop.
"We're here little Turturu. Just follow the path there into the island. Kamekoro-san will be waiting for you. Good luck."
The man was gruff looking. He had a scar across his right cheek and his black hair was wild and unkempt. His tanned face was covered in stubble and his eyebrows were thick, giving him a messy look. His face was the total opposite of his pristine attire. He pointed to the path he spoke of before sitting down in the boat.
This man, however, was just a ferry and unimportant. Your goal here today was to meet the tortoise Kamekoro and complete a contract with him, making him your summon. You'd been told there would be some sort of 'test', but little more than that.

Mission: Contract With the Turtle
Far into the river stood a majestic yet serene area of peace. Turturu, though wanting to explore, knew he had one, and only one mission here. He had to pass the Turtle Family test, the one his father passed. His father had told him the exam would be difficult but rewarding and that they change it for each person who desire’s a contract. Turturu, however was expecting the worst and a possible battle with Kamekoro.
As they near the island, Turturu stood up. He was much shorter than the man who brought him hear, in fact he looked almost miniscule compared to him. Turturu looked up to the scruffy man, who was dressed in proper attire. He seemed like a lazy person, who simply through on good clothes and did not clean his own body. Turturu, changed the subject in his mind. He had another task on his hand. He had to make Kamekoro his summon so he and Kamekoro could go on the several adventures he spoke about with him during his days at their house.
Turturu looked down the path the man’s finger pointed too. It seemed long, yet Turturu was up for the challenge. Rather than moaning, he jumped into the trees and jumped from each tree to the next. He looked like a speeding bullet who landed for what was only seconds. He took a quick glance to see how far he was from his destination. He had made progress, but he knew there was still more ahead of him.
Turturu jumped out from the trees and landed feet first on the ground. He looked around the area. He then continued down the path the man spoke about. It seemed quiet and calm to Turturu, as if everything was asleep. Turturu slowed down and then placed his hands behind his head, he began to walk slowly toward the destination. He kept his awareness high and was cautious of anything around him.
“Let’s do this.” He said with a grin on his face.

Mission: Contract With the Turtle
When you make it though the outer forest of the island, you are greeted with a beautiful scene. Grass stretched on for what seemed to be miles. Scattered throughout your immediate view were several lakes and small waterfalls similar to the one at the front of the island. There were several tall, thin stalks with a single large leaf on top of them scattered throughout the island, creating small pockets of shade.
"Hmm, a human? Ah, you must be Turturu-san. Good-morning. Alright then, follow me. I'll take you to Kamekoro-san."
The person who spoke to you was a large tortoise. His shell was a deep blue and his skin was a lighter shade of his shell. He is about the same size as Kamekoro. Without waiting for a response from you, he turned around and began to walk deeper into the island, assuming you'd be right behind him.

The majestic island of the Tortoise never stopped to amaze Turturu’s young eyes. It seemed endless with tall grass. Even more so with several lakes which were accompanied by the seemingly perfect flow of the waterfalls. Such a perfect landmass could only cause Turturu to watch in silence. He had come to a conclusion that the great island was what kept Kamekoro so peaceful during his time at his home.
As Turturu made his way into the majestic plains, he encountered a Tortoise Family member, who seemed to be of higher prestige then Kamekoro, due to a different coat of coloring on his shell. He greeted Turturu, and gave Kamekoro respect, which changed Turturu’s opinion on his prestige in the land. It did not matter much to Turturu, but he kept it noted so he could ask his father upon his return to Kumogakure.
Turturu’s focus was lost for a few seconds as he began to re-examine the area that surrounded him. He made note that he may want to return here if he ever became interested in the Suiton practice. After examining the area, he realized that the Tortoise who greeted him, was well on his way to the direction of Kamekoro. Turturu, caught up to the Tortoise, and used his trademark walk once more with his hands behind his head and his head to the sky.
“So,” Turturu began “There is supposed to be some sort of test, did Kamekoro or his father fill you in on the information?”

That was all the turtle said. Although he seemed kind enough, his speech was formal and he like to get to the point. Nothing more nothing less.
The walk was rather short, but there was much to see in the short amount of time. There were several tortoise roaming about. Some were the same size as Kamekoro and your guide, others smaller, and some larger still. Many of the tortoises simply walked and talked, but on your way you could see two who were sparring with each other. Before there was time to observe, your guide had suddenly stopped and you had arrived.
"Kamekoro-san, Turturu-san is here."
"Thank you."
Your guide simply nodded and then turned and nodded to you before leaving, presumably back to where you met him.
"Welcome, Turturu-kun. I trust your trip here was pleasant. Are you ready to begin?"

Turturu did not receive the answer he wanted from the Tortoise, but shrugged it off as he saw the several wonders of the Tortoise family. He could see small average sized Tortoise to ones bigger than one story houses. He knew there were larger ones, but they were hiding, most likely awaiting the call from a Jounin to battle against their master’s enemies.
Passing through, he had seen two Tortoise’s sparring. They were the size of Kamekoro as he recalled, which gave Turturu much to anticipate from the one he wanted to accept as an ally in combat. As Turturu blinked, he had come to realize that the battle was over and one Tortoise had defeated the other with the use of a special water jutsu. Turturu was unfamiliar with the affinity, but hoped to use it to his advantage one day.

"I've seen you grow from just an infant, Turturu-kun. I know the values your father has instilled in you and the kindness of your soul. I am also aware of the techniques your father has taught you. If only that were enough. Tradition is tradition, Turturu-kun, and because of that I must make sure you are worthy of summoning me. I'm aware of your purity, but I must still test you in combat."
Kamekoro's smile slowly faded into a serious stare. His legs then spread out taking a more battle-ready position as opposed to the relaxed stance he'd been in. The turtle gave you a moment to ready yourself before he began.
"Three...two...one. Begin!
As soon as the last word left his lips Kamekoro made several hand-signs and his cheeks inflated. He then shot a 'bullet' of water aimed at your chest.

(OOC: So sorry for not posting, I got really REALLY busy, also short post

Turturu was amazed as a jet of water jet towards him. He stood his ground and placed his left palm in front of his head with his hand partially extended. His right palm was contracted back and stood next to his lower right side. He had no time to cast a jutsu, as the jutsu knocked him back. He fell to the floor with his back towards the floor. He was breathing heavily. He kneeled on his knees and clutched his chest. He looked up at Kamekoro and with some difficulty made a smile.
“Your skills aren’t rusty,” Turturu said “You’ve been training quite a bit.”
Turturu got up and threw his upper part of the gi and his black shirt into the air. He left it to dry on the floor. He now stood somewhat strongly and gave a smirk. He began a swift sprint at Kamekoro bluntly. His face expressed pure anger, but inside his naive mind something seemed to be developing. As he neared Kamekoro he went to give a kick to his throat. At that same moment he made a set of handseals and flickered from Kamekoro’s sight. He reappeared a moment later, attempting to deliver a deadly blow to Kamekoro’s neck.

Surprised by how fast you moved towards him, Kamekoro retreated into his shell rather than try to hopelessly match your speed. Your first kick, however, still hit him on the nose. He then made hand-seals from within his shell and expelled a strong jet of water that pushed him back about 25 yards to try and make some room between the two of you. Once the space was created, Kamekoro then popped back out of his shell, but didn't make a move. He just stared at you.

As Turturu nailed his first kick, his face quickly changed into a grin of pleasure. However, before he could land anything else, Kamekoro jetted across the battle ground and reappeared on the other side and simply stood there. Turturu, who landed on his feet, looked at Kamekoro with that same smile he had when he landed the kick on Kamekoro.
“Good move,” He said “You’ve been training haven’t you?”
Before awaiting an answer, Turturu entered the fighting pose he began with. He then ran at Kamekoro in a similar motion to what he had done before. He seemed to place his hand into the form of a seal for a jutsu, yet stopped completing this jutsu, because a loss of self-confidence came within him. He seemed confused on what he would do. He then attempted doing his only offensive Taijutsu. He took out his two Knuckle busters with blades and went for a stab in Kamekoro’s armpit. However, Turturu went slowly with his jabs, so that he wouldn’t cause much damage to Kamekoro.

Another direct assault was what Kamekoro was hoping for. When you're halfway towards Kamekoro, he jumps several feet into the air and retreats into his shell again. He then began to make several hand-seals inside and then began spraying a jet of water to push himself down back towards the ground at you. Halfway down, Kamekoro begins to spin his shell in an attempt to knock you away on contact.

“Crap!” Turturu said “How am I gonna block this one?”
Turturu was too close to his target. He decided a momentary retreat would be necessary to continue this evasive maneuver he was beginning to form in his mind. Though his intellect wasn’t high enough to devise a successful plan, he decided he should work off some stories and training of his family and teachers.

He jumped back and landed on his feet several feet from Kamekoro’s whirling fortress maneuver. He decided to put his knuckle busters away, and decided that his time to take out the knives took too long. He needed a substitute for the knives. Something quick, even if it required chakra. He then hit an epiphany. He created several hand seals. He then formed what seemed to be a lightning blade in his hand. He once again charged aimlessly at Kamekoro. He hoped to get the bottom of Kamekoro and deliver a numbing and paralyzing blow to his chest.
“AH!” He screamed his battle cry, this confirmation that he momentarily gave up thought.

Mission: Contract With the Turtle
When Kamekoro hit the ground, his shell kept spinning but got stuck in the ground similar to the way a tire gets stuck in a ditch. When you near his shell, Kamekoro manages to get free, but your sword still managed to stab part of him as he rolled away. You could hear Kamekoro groan in pain and his shell began to spin uncontrollably, most likely because of the shock to his nervous system. Kamekoro spun around the area for a moment and his spasm ended with him spinning upside down towards your waist. He then laid on the ground upside down, but still in his shell.

Shoot, Turturu muttered under his breath I hurt him a little too much.
Turturu was hesitant to make another move. If he went for another hit he could easily get the extreme upper hand in this battle. Kamekoro laid there for a few seconds before a voice came from inside his shell.
"I'm fine. Thank you for your concern, Turturu-san."
While the strike stung and made it a little difficult to move for a moment, Kamekoro had utilized the down time in the spar to recover. He then began to spin his shell in a similar manner as before. He began to tip back and forth whilst spinning before finally flipping over and coming out of his shell, landing on his feet.
"You've done well, Turturu-san."
His compliment wasn't a signal for the end of the spar, however. Kamekoro began to make another set of hand-seals, but when he finished instead of using a jutsu he leaped into the air and landed in a nearby lake 10 meters from your position. Turturu sighed with relief as he had heard the answer of his partner. He returned to his fighting pose and neared his hands together, awaiting a movement from Kamekoro. He grinned will in this process, as he had heard a compliment from the tortoise. It seemed to Turturu that the battle was nearing an end, until he saw Kamekoro begin creating handseals. Turturu grinned once more, and he began to make handseals but awaited for a technique to be used by Kamekoro.
Once he saw a water bullet come at him, Turturu completed a set of handseals. He stuck his hand out and a small amount of lightning appeared on his palm. He stuck this hand in front of where he believed the target of the water bullet was going in order to cause a shock to be conducted toward Kamekoro.
However his calculations were quite off, as when the lightning and water hit, only Turturu had felt the water's impact. He fell down on his back, his plan in vain. He was drenched from the impact, water seeping through his clothes and touching his skin. He had felt this once before, so it did not really affect him like it had done before. So he quickly hopped up on his feet and attempted to shake off any excess water. He then looked at Kamekoro with his face as serious as it would ever be.
"Time to get serious," He said "I'm gonna get you Kamekoro!"
He quickly made handseals, and placed his hands to the side of him, his fingertips pointing to the back of him. He cupped them and his hands met at the wrists. He began a soft battle cry as lightning began to form in his palms. His cry slowly became a roar and his confidence slowly began to rise as the completion of the jutsu was comping to an end. Mission: Contract With the Turtle
Kamekoro felt some satisfaction to see his attack hit. Turturu was obviously faster than him and it played a huge factor in this fight. When Turturu began to make seals and form a ball of lightning in his had, Kamekoro grinned. He'd been expecting another raiton attack. The turtle began making another set of seals and then shot a jet of water out his mouth, propelling him out of the water and into the air before the lightning hit it. As the lake lit up with electricity, Kamekoro used the jet stream of water to turn him around and send him plummeting back down towards the lake. The heavy turtle came crashing down in the electricity filled lake, sending a large wave crashing out of it. The electricity sent shocks through his body, making his muscles cringe in pain, but Kamekoro hoped the wave would land on Turturu and send a shock through him as well.

Turturu could only watch as a large wave of water filled with electricity approached him. He could attempt to make an escape, but he new that he would leave the battlefield and submit to defeat. He began to create handseals and once completed, he flickered toward the edge of the battlefield, about 10 meters from where he originally stood, this was still in vain as the water still approached him. Turturu was trying to make time to evade this disastrous technique which mixed his own affinity and Kamekoro’s which came at me with high intensity.
“Crap,” Turturu said “You’re a lot smarter than one thinks.”
When the water made contact, Turturu got severely paralyzed. He feel to the floor and began to spit out blood. His face became weak and his heart began to beat slow. His breathing became harder and his eyes widened as he looked at Turturu. He got up and was now frail as he looked again at Kamekoro, he smiled and then began.
“Kamekoro, just wait….” Turturu said to himself.

When he looks up, Kamekoro would just be laying in the water. Although his shell provided great defense, he wasn't impervious to lightning. Diving straight into the water, Kamekoro felt the same shock as Turturu, perhaps an even greater one. He coughs up a little blood before speaking.
"Yes, let's stop here. Turturu, you've proven yourself not just in combat, but even proven your *coughs* character."
A few of the spectators came to aid the two of you, getting you some medical attention. While their jutsu relieved the pain, the aiding spectators warned that Turturu was in no shape to fight again anytime soon.

“Thank you Kamekoro.” Turturu exclaimed
He had finally passed his test. Though he had not come out victorious in a form of battle, Turturu came out victorious in his character and newly gained knowledge, which Kamekoro and the elders viewed as worthy for the contract. Turturu smiled as he finally was stepping into the ninja world and had a companion to coach and battle along side him when needed.
Turturu had a stream of thin blood come from his face. As the paramedics raced toward him, he began rebel against the paramedics, who insisted on him not entering a battlefield anytime soon. Turturu however felt fine, as he just took an impact of water and a shock. It was simple resistance training, he had to get used to it. Lightning was his own element and water was something he must have learned to use to his advantage.
“So where is that contract?” He smiled innocently “Ma has grilled chicken waiting for me.”

Kamekoro gives a soft smile and nods. He calls out to someone who had been watching the fight. He approaches Turturu and Kamekoro and hands Kamekoro a scroll, which he unrolls. The scroll has the name of just one person written in what first appears to be ink, but with careful observation one could tell it was blood. The name is of Turturu's father, Gatarmaru. There was still, however, a lot of space left.
"Your father was my first contract. I taught him and even grew with him. Now, it is time for me to teach you, to grow with you. I believe you are ready. If you believe so too, please sign the scroll in your blood."

He came to a halt, as he bit his finger like Kamekoro asked. Next to his father’s name, he wrote his own. San Turturu. His filled to the end of the scroll and picked his hand off, removing any excess blood. He then ascended to his feet and grinned once more. He placed his hands behind his back as he awaited further instructions from Kamekoro.

“No,” Turturu said “Ma has food being cooked as we speak I have to get going!”
As Turturu bid his farewell to Kamekoro, he ran back the way he came. He quickly made his way through the forest, not stopping this time to admire the beauty or even slowing down. He was too excited, he couldn’t wait to tell his father what he had accomplished tonight, on his first solo mission to gain the ability to summon from his faithful friend and now future fighting partner in the near and far battles to come. Turturu had a smile on his face, brighter than any smile a ninja could wear. He had just made more steps in his ninja story and he had many more steps before he could really call himself a ninja.
