Gray, thunderous clouds loomed overhead, casting darkness across the deep valley that ran between two hulking mountains. The rocky depression was dry and barren, spanning for hundreds of yards along the pass, though it was fairly narrow. The area was shadowed, and even on a sunny day, no light pierced the blackness of the valley.
Today, this ominous gorge would serve as a battleground.

Ayuma gazed into the black night, his eyes open, dispute the void before him. He felt like he was in a dream. He looked about, seeing a firefly, then another, light himself in a bioluminescent aura, appearing like the celestial bodies he had come to know and love. He felt like he was in the Deep Unknown, as his father had called it. It was the one place ninja would never be able to venture.
He had guessed he would be hunted by one of the ninja in his village if he allowed himself to return to the country, and he had waited long enough. He knew someone would arrive soon, maybe even two. The village didn't know much about his abilities, and would most likely underestimate him. He was ready. He closed his eyes and breathed in the cool, moist air, slowly moving through a set of hand seals as he activated one of his newest jutsu. The world around him lit up within his mind, the echoes from the technique falling upon his body and giving him a full map of the surrounding fifty yards of landscape. They were here.

After making a small set of hand seals, Ayuma will send a pulse of vibrating chakra into the area around him. The vibrations are at a frequency that causes them to bounce off of objects and to return to the user. This allows him to get a picture of his surroundings when visibility is limited. He can keep this going for up to 5 posts. After the time limit he is forced to dispel it. The pulses of chakra are sent out in all directions from the user with a radius of fifty yards.
