The elderly lady sat behind the post office desk with a large stack of packages to be delivered, waiting for the ninja to get there. They had been overwhelmed with cards for the holidays, and their normal mail man was spending time with his family for the day. The ninja would know where the office was, and would only have to show up and get the parcels before the mission could begin.

Miroku was ready for another mission which was a delivery job this time. He already had a day job as a delivery boy as he smiled as he neared the post office with his mission claim. 'I am here for the mission please!" he said with a smile as he held out his form. Hopefully it would be something easy for him to deliver.

The woman looked at the small boy and scowled, but did not complain. She had expected someone with a little bit more. . . bulk to him. Still, she was not one to turn down help, especially when she was not the one paying for it. In a voice that betrayed her smoking habits the woman said, "All right, kid, here're the packages. Deliver them all and then I have another stack for you."

The first package was addressed to a nearby house, and the boy would have little trouble getting there.

The first package was a neighborhood around the corner as Miroku grabbed it before heading out the door. He quickly turned onto the first street as he went out into a full on sprint to make it the fastest deliverY job that he could of ever done before. After all, it was more pay than the old man at his normal job gave him.

The boy would have no trouble getting to the house and delivering the parcel, but the next one was a little bit farther away. He would have to take a long way around if he did not want to go over walls and such. Not that going over walls was a problem, but he would have to be sure not to upset the population of the village. He might just get fired.

Given a second parcel after delivering the first made Miroku smile as he was getting this over quite easily. It would indeed be work as he noticed the address was a lot farther for the second as he grabbed it and started to walk outside, taking the long way around, rather then a shortcut since he knew that certain villagers get mad about things like that.

The boy would find that the long way was safe and fun and scenic. He would see lots of people he knew who waved to him, and finally, when he got the the house, he would be met by a nice old lady who seemed like she could be a great grandmother. She seemed kind, and offered the boy a cookie for his service.

The cookie was a delicious treat to eat as Miroku just smiled before realizing that he would need to go back and deliver another parcel after that. "Gotta hurry so I can be on my way home in time for food!" he mumbled softly as he jogged back before going off in a full on sprint to get the another one of the parcels for the delivery service.

The boy would have no trouble getting back, although it would take him a little while, but when he got back he would be given another parcel. He was about half way done with the mission, and the woman at the desk was beginning to cheer up when she saw his efficiency and speed.

The next house was another close one, and would not take long to get to.

Another close house eh?" he said to himself in a sort of whisper as he grabbed the parcel before darting outside and running in the direction of the house. He was careful with the package and made sure he did not run into anyone or anything while going off in his sprint. "Man this is a good work out as well!" he said to himself with a bit of a smile.

When he got to the house, he would find that nobody was home, but they did not have a mailbox. He could bring the thing back, or he could try to get inside and drop the parcel off. Or maybe he could slip it under the door. Not nearly as exciting, but probably the way to go. He did not want to get in trouble while working for the village.

Miroku looked around and knocked several times as no answer came. He did not want to leave the parcel out in the open as he checked to make sure no one was there before grabbing the paper and sliding it underneath the door. He gave a quick blow underneath as well to make sure that it was all the way in there and would not have any troubles of coming out as he let out a smile before heading back toward the post office.

The package was securely under the door and the boy would not have trouble getting back. The packages were almost all delivered, but he had a few more to go. Fortunately they were all for the same house. He got them all, and this would be the last trip. He would have to deliver the parcels to the Kage's office.

With one final delivery of several packages to the kage's office Miroku let out a simple smile before sprinting toward the building. "Maybe I can see the kage!" he shouted with a bit of a glee as he waltzed on toward the building, making sure that he had each parcel securely safe within his hands so nothing bad would happen to any of them.

The Kage was actually in a meeting at the time he got to the building, but the attendant took the mail from the boy and thanked him. The boy would then have to simply return to the mail office to tell the woman that he had succeeded before he could go home and eat his food.

The parcel was delivered to the attendant as Miroku let out a smile of completion for his second mission ever done. "Now time to go back to the office and state my awesomeness!" he shouted with excitement as he sprinted back to the post office, ready to get his mark of completion and be on his way home.

The woman would actually give him a smile when he got there and told her that he was done. She had not expected such fast work, but then she looked stern. "If any of those people complain it will come out of your pay." And with that she went back to her work. She was happy that he had done the good work, but did not really like showing good emotions.
