Requesting [The group of samurai you were with, a group of merely 20, are huddled around the camp fire as you settle down to sleep. As you're dozing off, you snap awake as you hear talk of desertion and even turning traitor to join Murakami in his foolish rebellion. While it is a grizzly job, you must kill every one of these men to prevent them from harming the war effort.]
Time Limit for Mission 96 hours

Hotaru would find herself huddled around the fire, nodding off as she was about to sleep. Well, he was about to sleep. “He” was a samurai and a commander of a task force for a mission.

The task force was created by the Hojo war council to take on special missions throughout the course of the war. It consisted of 20 individuals, all samurai, who were well trained. 15 D-Rank combatants, who honestly, could beat most of Kumogakure’s genuine in combat, even without ninjutsu, and 5- C-Ranks. Despite their rank they were easily capable of fighting a rank up.

Their missions were often dark, and had to do with attacking sleeping camps of the enemy and killing them.

And, as they themselves nodded, off, whispers around the camp talked of desertion.

The C-ranks in particular talked about how Murakami was going to win the war- how Murakami and Kusakabe and their territories made up the bulk military force of the lightning country and numbers wise Hojo stood no chance, especially due to Kumogakure having been crippled in recent attacks, not to mention for every jounin they brought into the battle, Murakami had equally strong men who could stop them before they could even get off seals.

Hotter would hear this all, and she would also hear some crucial words.

”On the next mission, we rally with their troops instead of killing them.”

Hotaru had dressed up as her samurai disguise, using more and more secret personalities now that she was deep rooted in S.T.R.A.T.O.S., Kiriko was the personality she tended to use when she was among other warriors and had to be out in the light. He was a blonde twenty year old samurai for hire and today he was sent here by some contractor to make sure that the team held together. He wasn't really certain if he should've been sent to such an open mission but it was still what he was given by Banri. Tsk, Okay, think. If we march forward and just attack head long we will probably just lose the battle. Shit, I feel like even though these people can probably handle themselves they are dead weight.

Hotaru shook her head before turning to the side, she cleared her throat as she started to hear whispers. Which caused the spy to let out a long sigh. "Whoever plans on turning side please meet me at the center of the camp for you will be immediately executed if you proceed with such plans." The samurai slowly rose to a seated position before rolling back on her back and quickly pushing herself up to her feet. The spy had no clue who she could trust and or if she was alone in the fight but she still slowly walked out of her tent, taking a couple of steps closer to the pit before she cracked her back.

Her red jacket shined brightly thanks to the glow from the fire, the spies face was dead set on finding out who was going to sell their own comrades in order to gain a small fortune. Weird, that was what I did the first time I met Izumi and Tokaido., her left hand rested on her relocated sword, which acted as a Katana in order to play the role as a samurai for hire. "We are here to help stop this stupid war not make it continue for i'll gain. Get your heads out of your rear and honor your blade. Let it not be filled with clean blood, only cut the Oni's. The ones that are trying to take down the very life we breath for a petty change. Trust me in what I say, I will take down any traitor and have them personally meet the head of Kumogakure and have them try to explain their way out of that situation." Hotaru grit her teeth before she let another sigh escape her lips. What was going to happen? Was she going to fight or could she handle the situation.

To perform this taijutsu the user must spend at least 250 word post preparing, at this level there's no accent, tone of voice the spy can't hit, and no matter how high/low pitch her voice doesn't sore. This ranges from young boy/girl to old man/woman.[/center]

Following the boy's speech, the people of the camp were confused. One of the lower, probably the weakest of the group, laughed. No. He cackled. He crooked his finger at the boy, his other hand on his sword as he stood.

"You've got to be kidding me!" he said laughing even more before taking off and drawing his sword. Before it could fully leave his sheath one of the elite swordsmen stood up, his blade shining like a diamond, and in a marvelous move beheaded the man.

"All those who go against our lord Hojo will perish. Cease this insolence." he called out. The lower men cowered, the elites forming behind him. He approached the boy silently.

"We agree and will strike down any traitors at your command." he said, bowing.

Kiriko as the young adolescent was undercover as chose to just stare at her opponent. She didn't flinch nor move to strike instead she was prepared to counter-attack, she knew that her sword style wasn't up to par but her hand to hand was surely out of his league, but once she saw that the mans head came clean of his shoulders the spy tensed up. That was fast! Her eyes turned to face the soldier before she would nod. "Thank you, at least there are some men around here who stands firm. Now for the rest of you, I promise a sure victory just hold true to what gives you hope."

Hotaru nodded before she walked over the dead corpse, she passed a couple of tents before turning around to walk back. She didn't care if she turned it against these opponents as they where to weak to try anything foolish. Especially with her new allies. "Now is there anyone that who is planning on betraying us step forwards. Don't worry for now you won't be killed but I will ask you a bunch of questions." Hotaru was honest, she knew that killing the traitor killed any lead she could have on the leak and on getting information on the other troop. Hotaru sighed as she rubbed her nose, she missed her fake piercings and Yoho's relaxed personality, this on the other hand was stressful.

"I'm serious I won't kill you, you have my word. If you turn yourselves in I will only question you and not kill. . Okay? That's fair right?" Hotaru figured that it was better to try to reason with them rather than make them threaten them, she had already tried that and it ended up with one of her soldiers dying, or rather one traitor was down. And that's when it hit her, if that was only one of them, how many of them are left? She hoped her tactic would work, at least she could get a 50% at turning some and getting information. The rest she was sure that she could handle, the spy had a nack for getting out of situations that was sure to leave on dead. She shivered at the thought before turning to face the samurai that stood up for her. "What's your name soldier." Nodding as she tried to act more in charge around her men although during this act she wasn't a hard ass. Kiriko is fearless, dedicated and honor-bound and he wanted his fellow men to feel the same in order to get maximum efficiency. For the greater good.

"Orocho." he said, maintaining eye-contact still. If Kiriko paid close attention he'd of noticed this man hadn't blinked and his eyes were cold and almost crazy looking. They were definitely off. "Most of these men don't have the guts to be traitors nor the guts to not be traitors. It's really pitiful, but essentially, as long as the strong command them, that's where they will be." he said in a slithery delivery.

A few of the men behind him grinned.

"My display has them scared enough to never consider the though, I assure you, you may sit back down to rest and worry not."

"Kiriko reporting, listen people don't follow for fear, they should follow for respect. If you follow fear then you work for the bad guy, hehehe." The samurai turned her back on her Orocho, she noticed that his eyes where a bit off so she knew that it was best to stay prepared. Left arm resting gently on the sword handle as she took a deep breath to calm herself down, sweat dripped down from her forehead as she felt the beast within crawl away. Taking a big gulp the spy turned to face Orocho.

Kiriko wasn't smiling, he wasn't really pleased with what the man was saying, maybe it wasn't her place but she sure as hell wasn't going to let this go by. For crying out loud she could've been hiding on the outside and helped stopped the deal but in stead she is in the dirt helping out. "Don't you worry about me, there's a reason why I was hired, and we will not scare our comrades into fighting for us-" Kiriko frowned as he took a step forward, as he continued to speak. "We are a team not a damn crusade."

Hotaru wasn't sure which side Orocho and his obvious goons where standing on but she was sure that Banri had told her to stop anyone who tried to deceive or bring down Kumogakure, no matter what rank. This was hard, it felt like she stepped over the line but Hotaru knew that none of them knew Kiriko, therefore they couldn't possible even know Hotaru, so what was she afraid of? Nothing.

This is where the Wushu starts to shine, this fighting technique is for seasoned Wushu users as it can pose a threat to an inexperienced user. First of all the user trains to fight with one hand, this mentality forces the user to slow down his/her tempo. The user focuses on precision(+2 Taijutsu) over speed (-1) and Wit (-1), but also comes with the cost of not being able to perform any Ninjutsu nor Genjutsu until using two hands.

Hotaru would not pick up anything from Orocho, other than the same creepy feeling she had already gained. Staring dead at her, his slithery voice escaped his lips.

"I had hoped you were more intelligent than pure ideals. Man is easily conquered, and whether or not you like it, the simple ashigaru that die and are the bulk of wars are controlled by fear, greed, envy, lust... the list goes on, but the mortal human sins are what gives the lords their powers."

He finally blinked, though it was one eye at a time... like some kind of reptile.

"Leave the commanding to those more qualified, boy."

Hotaru stood there and listened to the snake man and even though he appeared to be somewhat out of the loop, the spy knew that she was pretty much the same except for the fact that she was undercover and extremely dangerous in close quarters. She figured if something would happen she would be able to reach the target from this distance, Hotaru liked to play with the thought as she never knew who could be the bad guy until she had done enough research, so for now she was just poking at the weirdo to see what made him tick.

"Talk all you want but not all mortals fall for the weak pathetic ones that abuse others. Do not speak Ill of another adversary without doing proper research or you mind find yourself in trouble for believing we are different." Kiriko was a weird man to be disguised as, he liked to test peoples limits, it's almost as if the more Orocho treat him like a kid the more he wants to prove how wrong this snake blinking guy was, it made Hotaru feel cocky. I don't know why but it suits, I'll show that fear isn't the only way to lead our comrades. Hotaru thought for herself, nodding before turning to face Orocho, was he still going to treat Kiriko like a child?

Orocho liked his lips and rolled his head around upon his neck. He was done trifling with the little girl. "Inspiration and the hearts of good men are great- but the bottom feeders. The bottom feeders will turn on you regardless of your tactics. They care only for their survival, and fear, fear is a true motivator of anyone's survival." he said giggling.

Turning around he headed back to the campfires, his mean following him.

"You'll see, girl."

Hotaru squinted her eyes as she continued to listen to what the weird guy had to say, even though he was higher command she didn't fully trust him. With a sigh the spy relaxed, watching his small crew leave with him. Everything was calm until he mentioned that she was a girl, it was at that point that it hit her that he might know more than he lets on. Shit, how the hell could he find out!? Hotaru was a bit nervous but still chose to relax by the campfire, she was sure not going to sleep now, not when traitors lurked.

The camp had quieted down for the night, Orocho and his men sitting at the campfire and still up whilst everyone else slept. Rather than hushed tones that could be overheard, the men wrote on a notebook back and forth. The needed to meet the quota and bring at least twenty men over in their defection... but this appearance of a new "samurai" was quite the problem.

Orocho saw through her disguises and attempts to hide who she was. Physically he was merely average amongst elite samurai, but mentally, he had faculties no one matched. And the fact that she was here... meant she was sent by a higher force.

Was someone watching them? He'd send a message back if they were. With a young ashigaru in toe, a syringe in hand, they surrounded the "boys" tent. The ashigaru was told he was the betrayer and he was to end her.

Walking into the tent, he took the syringe and attempted to jam it into the samurai's neck.

Outside, Orocho smiled. Something told him this samurai wasn't truly asleep and had been springing on them. Which meant she'd defend her self and destroy the vial. He had a vile plan for that vial. A twist of fate that would make his sick mind excited and filled with joy.

Meanwhile he began to apply a poison from another vial to his blade, and all his men did similarly.

Hotaru sat down with her eyes focused on one point, her back was turned against the opening which was currently shut. Her Wushu training thought her to relax and try to experience her "sixth" sense which only kicked in when she was in total focus mode and slightest movements could easily disrupt her flow.

Hotaru took a deep breath before she held it in, an assassin slowly crept in, he would be able to see a dark silhouette of Kiriko before the targets hand was grabbed. Kiriko then pushed himself closer to the target to deliver a mean elbow, then taking a quick skip back, then kicking the targets left knee. With a flash the spy pushed herself closer to deliver a final kick to the chest.

The assassin propelled out of the tent, before Kiriko slowly walked out of his tent, his left hand still resting on his blade while his right held a vial. "Whoa!, don't we usually line up flue shots? Is this a special one for me?" He looked at it before he tossed it in the air and caught it. "I guess I'll save this then. Anyone else? Oh. . Orocho, how pleasant to see you here. Hey boys, so what? We are ready to ship now or what? No? Oh are you up for some afternoon sparring?" The samurai chuckled before he started to count the targets.

I won't be able to deal with all of them with one hand, I need to go two hand mode. . Shit. . Where's back up when you need it. . Oh right. . I'm the one that they needed. Fine let's do this. Kirikio sighed as he tilted his head. "Are you sure this is what you want to do? To betray Kumogakure? Is that your final choice?" He spoke with a determined voice, he was to take all of those traitorous scums if they tried anything. This Orocho guy not sit right with Hotaru, he needed to go down. If not for Kumo then for her own sake, who would miss that ~~cunt~~.

With their high level in the art of manipulating and using their body and also high reflexes and strategizing ability, the user has mastered their ability of avoiding quick strikes that come on short notice, finding little to no challenge in side-stepping punches, jumping over kicks, leaning back, among others. The user understands that fights have a tempo and is able to adapt him or herself into said tempo in order to dodge effectively but instead of fully dodging the attacks the user is able to perform a quick counter, using the targets momentum against them. Often aiming for the solar plexus, an area that can cause damage and sustaining pain, (-1 Taijutsu, -1 Strength).

"Betrayal?" Orocho cackled.

"Who do you think I am, a Nakajima?" he cackled harder. "We noticed that man sneaking into your tent." his hand moved in a snakelike motion with a speed and precision unmatched, and, if suthe man who had earlier had the vial dropping to the ground, a needle in his jugular.

"We were here to protect you from that man, we saw him approaching your tent, oh valiant one." his eyes shifted.

They needed to touch her with their blades if they fought, if his twist of fate and cruel methods of torture were to come true.

"Then why don't you guys turn back in, as you can see I had it all under control. It would be wise to get some sleep, it's not like anyone would try that again." Kiriko chuckled before he turned his back to sit by the camp fire, Hotaru knew that it would be foolish of her to enter the tent once again as she was sure that they would take that opportunity to strike. Since she was sent on this mission alone she knew that she wouldn't be getting any back up soon, at least not from outside parties.

"If you don't want to rest then at least tell me something about yourself, what makes you so special within the army?" Kiriko nonchalantly shrugged, this was Hotaru's way of acting like she wasn't phased by his team, to be honest she wasn't sure how well they could fight but she figured that individually they would all fall one by one. Hotaru wanted to grit her teeth but she remembered that she wasn't wearing her mask per usual, meaning that the charades would continue.

Not to say that Hotaru wasn't prepared to strike her team, she could at least count six of those soldiers dead if her strike goes as planned, and that's just the starter. She wasn't too sure what side they where actually standing on and didn't want to fully assume that he was a traitor although he seems to fit the profile to the dot. Although this could also be profiling, maybe Hotaru was out of her league or maybe she was on to something. Either way, whatever was going to happen the spy would be ready for it.

The man simply shrugged. He owed zero explanations to this child. He was growing tired of her. His hand was behind his back and in the smallest of gestures waved. A few of the men around the campfires eyes darting around the area until finally, one of them walked over to Hotaru, sitting behind her. (well, what he believed to be a young him.) After a few moments of silent he spoke.

"Would ya like a drink lad? And why don't you get down into ya skivvies? Ya can't possibly sleep ad relax in that"

He really just wanted the kid to be defenseless, he was unaware it was actually a girl.

Kiriko just sighed as the man behind her started to speak, fortunately her disguise seemed to work on this one, the snake man she wasn't too sure. He kept calling her a girl and looked at her as if he could see through her samurai disguise, which frankly bothered her, it was one thing the spy hated and that was when someone called her bluff. That sets of an alarming trigger in her, which in turn makes her want to know what was it that gave it away. In some ways it can be seen as a good thing as she covers her flaws but in orders it can be seen as an obsession to not be herself.

Either way the samurai just shrugged before he turned to face the man behind him, "I have my own drink, I'm fine. Why don't you sit next to me and drink it yourself, we can sing cheerful songs to help our fellow comrades slumber? What do you say? Team work is the best work no? Besides I'm on nights watch." The samurai chuckled before he reached in to his pouch to grab a bottle of water, he took a big sip, never letting his eyes go from the creeping samurai before closing it and returning the bottle back where it belonged.

"Well, are we all just going to stand around here and just ogle each other or are we going to check the perimeter to make sure that no one tries to sneak up n us while we are on guard duty. Otherwise it's just a waste of a good nights sleep and manpower" Kiriko chuckled, Hotaru wasn't sure if "he" was trying to calm them all down and see things from a more cheerful perspective or if the spy knew that a fight would be inevitable. Either way the spy was always prepared for plan A/B/C/D all the way to Z if need be!

The tension would not release. They knew the samurai who was in their way of defection would have to sleep at some point. And yet they could not afford to waste any more time on him. He was a pissant and taking him out would be no problem at all. The burly man who was to the side of the samurai would lunge at him with great speed and even greater strength, him attempting to put the samurai in a big bear hug, eliminating the samurai's movement.

Orocho grimaced. He really didn't want to kill his prey just yet, so, he stood back and watched, his trusted men behind him.

Kiriko chose to do something that would be considered i'll advised if this was performed by someone else but Hotaru had a plan all along, she allowed the man with superior strength to grab the spy from behind, with her arms hung downwards, for the moment Kiriko wouldn't do much but take a look around to see whether or not the others would attack, she wanted to get a clear estimation on how many she was actually going to square off against.

"Listen, If you wanted to hug me then you could've just asked, I am a hug friendly person and I have nothing against a little bromance but this is a tad bit creepy don't you think? I mean. . ." Hotaru would use this golden opportunity to set up a trap, a trap which the burly man nor the ones that would attack first could possibly predict for her current predicament screamed disadvantage but if you knew how to the human anatomy works and you have the brain power to apply right amount of pressure on the right place then you will be able to bend anyone against their will, to the point of them helping you out in a fight without them being able to resist the users control.

So while Hotaru waited she prepared to extract the hidden blade and stick it deep inside the burly mans thigh, then grab his left thumb with her right hand then quickly twirl which would not only position her behind the big samurai but also allow her to grab him as her personal meat-shield, twisting his thumb inwards while she forced the elbow outwards she would make sure that he wouldn't be able to run away from her. Plus the knife to his neck would make any sane person calm down.

The mans eyes widened as the girl would try to perform/wiggle/or do whatever it was that would allow her to make her move. She'd fail however. He had monstrous strength and letting him grab hold of her had been a wrong decision. If she was to break free she would need a far better method. She'd feel her armor taking pressure from the man's grip- it was that powerful.

"Hey! I thought we where all friends!" Hotaru made sure to drop a smoke bomb, which fortunately where hidden within her sleeve. Using whatever amount of seconds she was allowed during the initial smoke bomb shock, the spy would try to aim for his stomach, hoping that the smoke and the blade poking she could gain the upper hand and finally deliver a blow with the back of her head. She knew that if certain spots where sucker punched such as the jaw, most fighters that weren't prepared for the hit loses grip of reality for a split second and that was all the spy would need to take down the big guy and write that tactic down.

The smoke would slide out her sleeve as everyone in the camp suddenly sprang to life. She would indeed catch the man off guard ramming her fist into his gut, and creating an opening for her. As this happened though, the five guards of Orocho would spring forth towards her.

Orocho was furious, but he was also excited. Smoke bombs that fit in such a small place meant it was a tag. Smoke tags meant shinobi. He'd have to play this carefully. He'd never killed a shinobi before.

The five guards swung their blades out, the wind of it blowing away the smoke to reveal whatever was left when the girl finished.

Hotaru was quick to let the big fellow taste her hidden blade, it would go clean through his throat before she had to focus on the other incoming targets. From her position all she could see was incoming shadows, but those where clear enough indication that she was about to have company. She was quick to figure out a plan, the spy was quick to start tossing her black senbon towards the incoming guards, she aimed for eye and throat level, so when the men cleared the smoke they would see a black dot move closer towards the center of their view.

Whoever that would remain from that second attack, would notice that the spy would start backing away, I won't be able to fight them all head on, especially not if they have people that are as strong as this dead guy over here. She was prepared to fight as dirty as she needed to be, knowing that they where going to overwhelm her if she didn't keep her wits up. Meaning she would use any tool or form of tactic to take down the target one by one, even if it would essentially mean strike, run, strike, run.

Upgraded version of 3, where the user can carry twice as many Kunai/Shuriken/Senbon with one hand and be able to toss them at ease. They wont effect the speed/strength or aim.

-:-Hand-Eye-Coordination
C-Rank Taijutsu
Prerequisite: Eagle.
Relying on the ability to discern distance and track targets, the user makes a ranged attack on a moving target. Assuming that the target's speed and direction remain the same, shots made with this technique "lead" the correct amount to almost certainly strike true.

-:-Bursting the seems
C-Rank Taijutsu
Prerequisite: Short Range Toss, 4 Taijutsu.
This technique allows the user to toss kunai/shuriken/senbon at short ranges, these tosses usually are ineffective once they reach 15 meters away. Although within this short range they are far more accurate (+2 Taijutsu, -2 Strength).

11 Tai but at 3 speed.

The smoke fading wasn't the only action of the incoming guards. One of them had heard the distinctive sound of projectiles. His hearing was clearly on an insane level, and, moving forward as he rapidly spun in place, drew his sword in a spinning display of steel that appeared as if it was a blur, the rest of the men falling in line behind him. Off the edges of it metallic clanks could be heard as he deflected the incoming senbon.

With the shinobi's cover gone and her move reflected one of the guards immediately lept over the first, swinging a large nodachi down with tremendous force at her. No sooner than that did the other three guards rush to her flank, as he looped his leg at hers trying to sweep her legs.

Leaping up off the ground in any Shinden stance, the user draws their blade down and creates a powerful overhead slash which doubles as a defensive movement, the user capable of moving the sword to displace weight and momentum to change direction if needed. With this technique, the user can also form heavy slashes on uneven or unstable terrain without dependancy on solid ground.

This technique allows them a devastating amount of piercing force and skilled users have been known to pierce the blades of their opponents with this thrust or other remarkable feats.

Being the fighter that she was the spy was quick to analyze her targets attack pattern before choosing the best coarse of strategy. Taking a side step to dodge the incoming downward slice, a quick kunai throw to the ear would put the man down before she pushed backwards then quickly turned around to deflect the incoming slice before pulling out her sword with her free hand. She would use her viper speed to slice the target under his armpits, to make sure he bled out.

The "samurai" was quick to turn around once again prepare to counter the next to incoming attacks, which where near perfect synchronized c since they didn't have to focus on the other two fighters. The spy was quick to deflect the blade aimed for her head but was too slow to dodge the leg sweep, which caused her to fall to the ground, although she was quick to rise to her feet again, she would retaliate in hopes to take down the two remaining before more jumped into the fray.

To be honest she was starting to break a sweat and she hadn't even started fighting the snake leader guy, which meant that he was watching for a reason. Hotaru had created too many questions that she needed to ask the man later for her to actually appreciate how well she was actually doing in the fight even though most would call this fight totally unfair since the young chuunin was clearly overwhelmed. Fortunately they hadn't all swarmed her samurai persona yet so for now se could manage.

Just as fast as their initial attacks when the first samurai collided into the ground and failed to hit his attack, the rest pulled onto their heels, turned their bodies, and did all they could to stop, changing direction mid attack and then vaulting forward into a separate attack. As they did this, the snake man began to lick his lips.

He brought out his real vial, and when the samurai did the same maneuver again, leaping forth for the boy, he chucked the vial, then another.

A green gas came out.

A gas that would lower the boy's wit (by 2) causing him to feel sluggish and slow. The samurai guards seem unaffected.

Hotaru knew that if she stayed within this position then she was sure going to fall harder than the opponents she had already managed to take down. After gritting her teeth the spy chose to deflect the incoming attacks but those came at an heavy price, and that price came as a form of gas cloud that quickly swept through the battlefield. It wouldn't take long before she realized that what she had inhaled wasn't regular smoke, but toxic. FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!

The spy panicked before she took a step back, she could feel her world lagging for a split second, something was already taking effect on her, which meant that the end result maybe hadn't struck her. That meant get out of the smoke right now! So with one push she rolled out of the green gas, with one knee to the ground and both hand tightly gripping her blade the spy made sure to check that no one was behind her. "What the hell is this!? Are you using gas now? What kind of coward are you? You send your men to attack me in my sleep and now you don't dare to fight me head on? Instead you poison me!?" This was not going to be the end of the spy, this couldn't, this wasn't allowed!

The man licked his lips as his soldiers sprang forth for the boy. The remaining three men executed a strike that consisted of a leg sweep slash, one at the neck, and a cleave from overhead. If executed perfectly, they'd cut into the boy and all the blades would meet simultaneous, creating a locked position. Meanwhile, the orochi man lept forward, drawing two small daggers from his side. They were discoloured as if a liquid was on them.

His golden armor glimmered as he danced around his men. If they failed, and the boy managed to dodge, he would leap for him.

"You filthy mongrel."

Hotaru knew that if she did nothing to get out of this fight soon, she would lose, and that meant her life, the very life she "enjoyed". Gritting her teeth, the undercover spy quickly tossed a senbon at the closest enemy, then jumped as she pushed the overhead slash. Although thanks to the woozyness caused by the poisoned smoke, the spy landed harshly, with a quick roll though she was back on her feet. Just to greet the snake man head on, with her right foot she blocked one of the arms but was to slow to stop the incoming blade.

She felt the blade pierce it's way through one of her ribs, fortunately it missed any vital points, but all that came to the spies mind was, what could the blade have been dipped in. Hotaru pushed back then held her sword, she still kept up her act of bravado, but was slowly starting to lose her confidence. It felt like the snake man could see right through her and no matter how valiant she faught, it seemed that it was impossible for her to win this battle. Especially in her state.

The men stood resolute as their leader walked in front of the boy. He was weakened, woozy, and slipping back. It seemed the fight would be over soon. Grinning ear to ear he wave off his men, smiling. His ego... He slowly sheathed the daggers and drew his sword. "It looks like I'm out of poisons at this point, so now, unfortunately, I'll have to kill you with my sword, little girl" he laughed. He paused. He saw right through her, even if his men did not.

"So just die nice filthy mongrel." He took a step forward drawing his sword at the girl in a motion that would slice into her.

Hotaru took a step back, she couldn't believe her ears, he was still refering to her as a girl. Hotaru you can't stay here! You have to run! You aren't Kiriko, you are Hotaru a spy from Kumogakure, you have to survive! SURVIVE! The samurai's hand started to shake and before she knew it, she was forced to dodge the incoming slice. Rolling on the ground and back to her feet, the spy dashed away from the fight. With one hand on her ribs, she thought up a plan.

Hotaru quickly formed a set of hand seals then tossed two smoke bombs, that would grow into a giant smoke wall, thanks to her boosting genjutsu, that would set in motion if they looked at the smoke. She then formed another set of hand seals within the smoke, then started to whistle as she continued to run away from the snake man. Don't let him get you, and don't fall asleep. Don't let him get you, and don't fall asleep. Hotaru repeated this over and over in her head as she pushed through the pain and the venom coursing through her vains.

The snake man's tongue was hanging out his mouth as if he was hissing- he had a look of pure ecstasy on his face as the girl dodged. Nothing was more fun that getting to play with your prey! However, the girl had slinked away and tossed smoke bombs, and suddenly, they seemed to double, along with his sense of what she looked like. The rest of his men were seemingly effected. He knew something was odd the moment that happened. And, thus, he cleaned off his dagger, wiping the poison from it, then drove it into his own leg.

I had my doubts, but this confirms them. That girl is a Kumogakure shinobi. No doubt the inquiry on my group and me. He hissed. This man had clearly dealt with shinobi before. As soon as he could see better, he'd go after the girl, commanding his men to follow him.

With his injury he was limping and out of commission, but, he now would be able to tactically command and direct his troops after the girl, whether the genjutsu had taken them or not.

"Forward- 30 degrees. Run after that boy!" he yelled to his soldiers.

By now the rest of the camp was starting to stir and wake up.

Hotaru knew that she had only bought herself temporary time, once she stopped whistle, she was quick to grab a flash note then continue hussle through the landscape. She made sure to keep an eye on her hunters before she would continue down into a bottleneck.

She would hide the flash under two rocks then would continue down until she would find a hiding spot. She knew that this would only be temporarly as her blood drops would lead directly to her, she was hoping to use this location to force them to fight her two at once, instead of the entire team at once. The flash was hidden for a quick get away plan.

As the men came across the path, they found themselves only being able to fit two at a time through it. Even then, their limited range of motion made the path difficult to navigate. Either way, they'd go in two at a time. Orocho meanwhile stayed in the back. He grinned a little.

Meanwhile the first two men to enter the bottle neck would investigate, following the trail of blood right to Hotaru.

Now all she had to to was wait, but for how long, how would she know if her time perception was correct, sure she had managed to dodge some attacks but that was on pure instict. Now that she was waiting for them to attack her again, she started to doubt her plan, but for all she knew, there was no other way around this.

It's. . . Now. . Or never. . Hotaru grit her teeth as she tried to keep as much blood inside her as possible, she could already feel that she was semi dipping in and out, what caught her attention though was the sound of footsteps. Here they come! Hotaru pushed through her pain, although she knew that her left hand was now out of commision, forcing her to toss her senbons with one arm. Lucky for her, she had trained for such an occasion and was tossing out senbons after senbons, each flying at different angles, some crashing into each other to change tryjectory while others where fake tosses.

She would continue until she was either forced to defend herself of her ammunition would run out, all she really knew was that this could ultimately be her resting place, and if it were, then she would be damned if she didn't take at least half of them with her.

This technique allows the user to toss kunai/shuriken/senbon at short ranges, these tosses usually are ineffective once they reach 15 meters away. Although within this short range they are far more accurate (+2 Taijutsu, -2 Strength).

Prerequisite: 5 Taijutsu.
This technique allows the user to toss kunai/shuriken/senbon another kunai/shuriken/senbon to arc it's trajectory, the user begins by throwing a set of projectiles before tossing another one that changes the first's directions up to 90 degrees.

Prerequisite: Eagle.
Relying on the ability to discern distance and track targets, the user makes a ranged attack on a moving target. Assuming that the target's speed and direction remain the same, shots made with this technique "lead" the correct amount to almost certainly strike true.

Prerequisite: 3, Droplets, 7 Taijutsu, 7 speed.
This is the upgraded version of Droplets. The user first fills both hands with either Kunai/Shuriken/Senbon, then proceeds to toss them at the target at great speed. During the toss the user is able to quickly reload without having to interrupt if they chose to place the weapons next to them or chose from multiple pouches and can continue until they run out of projectiles.

Prerequisite: 7 Speed.
This technique relies on speed to unleash a rapid series of ranged attacks against one or more targets. The user draws and launches in one fluid motion, falling into a rhythm and maintaining it. Doing so can provide effective suppression fire, urging a quarry into a trap or setting up for a future technique. The user can also attempt to pin down a number of targets equal to the user's Taijutsu Stat for the duration, which lasts for as long as the user has ammunition and maintains the attack. The user's legs must remain stationary save to pivot.

The first wave of men would be totally unsuspecting as steel pierced and tore their bodies apart. Instinctively, the men behind them would run in screaming, trying to back up their comerades, but only finding a similar fate. With four down, she had definitely achieved something, however, it didn't take more than those four for the rest of the soldiers to realize they probably shouldn't enter the path. Orochi hissed, and with a flick of his wrist, waved his troops off.

They'd flank from the sides of the chasm and drop down onto the girl.
