Izumi suddenly kicked backwards in a roll onto her back as she slammed her blades back into her staff as the spearman moved to intercept her and she didn't want to kill either of them. On the ground she spun, her feet kicking the spear back enough to allow her to get to her feet where she dropped the staff and flew through seals, lighting crackling across her arms.
It was only then that she rolled forward with the goal of coming up in the spearman's guard enough to try and shock him. She didn't want to resort to most of her techniques, she didn't want to hurt or kill these guys as after all, they are supposed to be on their side.
"Goddamnit we're on the same side here!" she called, wishing they'd back off just a moment so they could have a conversation, but so far every blow was matched or met with a new strike and Izumi's forte was not taijutsu. It was taking all of her focus to keep on her targets as it was, she couldn't even check on her peers or targets that were outside her focus.
It was not a situation she cared for in the least.
*Spin
D-Ranked Taijutsu
Utilized when the user is vulnerable on the ground, this technique allows him/her to get up easily while expelling nearby weapons and people. To perform Spin, the user swings their legs around above them, causing them to spin around. This subsequently knocks away the objects and people in their proximity at a strength equal to the user's while allowing the user to get to get up.
*[Lightning Element • Lightning Shock]
D-Rank Ninjutsu
This is a technique utilized by Raiton users to deliver a small but powerful shock to an opponent. By performing a short set of hand seals and focusing Raiton into his/her own hands, the user can wrap the appendages in electricity. For two posts, any direct contact between the user's hand and the target will send a shock through the target's body. The pain caused is equivalent to being stabbed by a senbon.
*Cartwheel
D-Ranked Taijutsu
By applying an otherwise basic movement to combat, users are able to close distance between themselves and their opponent using a cartwheel before striking. Being as simple as it sounds, users will cartwheel toward opponents before bringing their feet down on top of them with the momentum gained from the cartwheel. This technique can be used in rapid succession to close more distance.
*Thrust Tactics
C-Ranked Taijutsu
Prerequisite: 4 Taijutsu and Wit
After carefully analyzing their opponent’s movements and defense, the user then moves into close quarters, making swift and purposeful stabs at any weak point that presents itself. This applies to weak points in armor, an opening in a taijutsu, or the short period of time used while performing hand seals. In the event that any of these points are successfully taken advantage of, the user will continue to follow up with more thrusts, attempting to inflict as much damage in the opening as possible.
