A run outside Kumo (Continuation of a stroll in Kumo)

Chiaki looked up and inhaled deeply, then a twinge which came from what seemed like the inside of her right eye made her remember that she had enough to drink last night, or perhaps too much since she didn't bring water into the onsen. She placed a palm over her eyes, sighing and then looked back up at the ceiling. They had paid for separate rooms, but she felt a little bit of responsibility for the young girl that had come from Konoha and had come to see the sights. Well unfortunately for Haruka, or perhaps fortunately, the empire was vast, and the things that she wanted to see were not just in Kumogakure proper, though there was time for breakfast, a good stretch, and for Chiaki to deal with her headache. Too bad she didn't have a jutsu that would get rid of headaches. That was something to do. Hangover-no-jutsu she would call it. Wincing as she chuckled to herself, she swept her legs over the side of the bed and found that she had slept in the nude. She raised her eyebrows at this and wondered whether she had made it to the room with her clothes on at all. It was a bit fuzzy after the lightning, since the alcohol from before had returned with a vengeance and everything had seemed so fuzzy the night before.

The trail of clothing was encouraging. She saw, at the door, robes, then her tights, apparently a stumble later she had lost her undergarments, had tossed herself onto the bed and had found herself in a blanket sushi roll. A Chiaki sushi roll. She snickered at that and sighed, placing the soiled garments into her bag and took out her only clean clothing, her training/mission gear. She first put on her undergarments, followed by the shinobi netting, then her gi. She searched in the bag once, twice, three times, and came up one pair of shorts short. Well, as long as she didn't move too much she wouldn't show more of herself than she wanted to. She had seen people with this sort of style in Kumogakure anyhow. Sighing, she slipped the white mask and gloves on, then looked at herself in the mirror, and gave herself a masked smile. Perfect. She was recognizable for the people that knew her, but was nondescript in other regards. Chiaki readjusted the headband over her and then tossed her bag over her shoulder and pushed out the door, leaping down the steps three at a time and clattered into the main room of the inn. She had heard that breakfast was included, so she looked around, finding that it was a tofu miso soup that was being served.

Lovely.

Chiaki nabbed herself a bowl, a spoon, and pulled her mask down to start feeding herself, tucking the scant little bit of cloth that was keeping her decent between her legs, and cleared her throat. It was bland. Great. Frowning, she rustled through her pack and found the spice kit that she had tucked away, thinking about the things that she was going to do today with Haruka. They wanted to get an early start to see her temple, and then she thought that she would let the girl play with the Kyoukan foxes, and perhaps they could find a noomish, a huge deer that her country was known for. Finding a Noomish was a rather fun excuse to go for a hike and just fool around in the woods, looking at the scenery, the flowers, the lovely countryside. Perhaps, also, when they came back they could participate in the dance competition that the inn was putting on two nights from now. She had seen the flier as they came in last night, but thought that it was rather too early to see whether the girl wanted to participate.

Sipping her soup, spices added, she waited for Haruka, her golden eyes watching the steps to the upstairs.
