Ishi continued to leap from boulder to boulder, tree to tree, and then dashing from clearing to clearing in a frantic, fidgity manner. He was tired, panting, and sweating. The adrenaline rush that had bursted through him when he felt the excitement of fleeing had been replaced by the adrenaline created by fear. It was only a matter of time. The village would no doubt send someone after him. Hell, he was surprised he had already gotten as far as he had gotten. Lucky timing, he guessed.
Reaching the far edge of a cliff, he stopped, gasping for air. He peered over the edge, expecting to see a 10000 foot drop, but only seeing a minor dip, about 12 feet down. He leaped over, noticing that it ran for miles wide.
Probably a dried up river, he thought. He caught his breath, little by little. He wanted to keep going, but it was only avoiding the inevitable. His best chance of escaping either way was attempting to kill what he hoped was a lowly scout sent to keep track of him. If he could manage that, then more power to him.
So he caught his breath, wiped his sweat from his forehead, and waited...

Mori received orders from the kage that a ninja of the village has gone rouge and left. He did not care for such matters he only cared that he was being sent on a mission to kill him. Once Mori received the details of the man he took off at high speeds following the trail the ninja left carelessly. What a stupid ninja he though he is leaving the village and a trail to follow him. Finally he seen the ninja just over this gap so, Mori jumped it with ease. Then he started to run to the right of him making some hand seals and sent out four chakra chains from his hand. He then made one additional seal and the heads of hounds formed on the ends of three of the chains. Those three went towards the ninja at blinding speed. The last chain he made stayed back to provide support if needed.

Ishi was too slow to react to the sudden attack of the chains. The hounds on the tips bit him hard in his arms, 1 of them getting a good bite in his thigh. As the chains began to wrap, he struggled against them, using sheer muscle to break away from them. he lept back in pain, small droplets of blood coating the floor as he went along.
He noticed another ninja, waiting along the side of the small canyon. Damn.... He was surprised that none of the other sentinels were there, but all the best. it would only add to his shame. He groaned in pain from the bites, but he sucked it up.

Mori seen that his attack did some damage to the ninja but there was still so much work to be done to him. This man must think his life is worthless, or at least he is not even trying to stop his death. God what a fucking loser that his own life is so pointless its not even worth killing him almost, but he still needs to be show that. As Mori though to himself he seen the man break free of the hounds, so Mori channeled some chakra through the chains to repair any damage done to them. As he did though he seen the man throw something at him, with out even thinking Mori mad a quick hand seal and made the one chain saying back form a wall in the form of a semi-circle around him. The grenade then went off the wall took the blow but was pretty much destroyed in the process.

Then he made one more hand seal making sharp thorns appear on the three attacking chakra chains, and sent them to attack again. Kamina watched excitedly as she formed a rather long string of handseals before leaping the river ditch. Obviously, this was going to be a great fight, and when it was over, perhaps she could ask him a few things...?

Miyamoto seemed a little too into the fight, flinging his silly chains about. The idiot hadn't even made a move to signal her; it was a wonder he had even made jounin.
Raw power got you only so far in the ninja world; if he continued on his present path, Kamina mused, he'd very likely be the next target for a village asassination squad. Ironic, she thought, because she knew she'd be the first to accept the assignment.

As the chains came towards him, exactly what he expected, his body hardened, transforming into a thick rock. The chains were useless, and Ishi quickly broke through the chains, leaving not even a scratch on him. As he did this, he heard a large explosion to the side of him. Slightly startled, but seeing the same ninja on the top of the cliff to his side brought him back to reality.

Mori seen the man's body cover it self in rock or stone, he knew this was a trademark jutsu of the village. Sadly this only helped him more to complete this mission, for soon it will all be over. He looked over slightly and seen the woman was fine at least she would hold her own if need be, but she was still weak. Just a flick of the wrist and this girl would be dead and only to blame the rouge ninja for. Though his loyalty to the village came before his views. Even though she was not even fit to share the same battle ground as Mori she was just a weak human like the rest. As he was thinking he man broke free of his chains; Mori could tell he was strong but even the strong fall, and when they do they fall hard. This was not over though he channeled a little more chakra to repair his chains again, and remove the hound heads from the ends of them. Then sent two of them to attack the front going straight for his chest, and the last chain went around him and towards his middle back. If these made contact he would show this man how fragile he is, by making him snap his own neck with his own hands.

Ishi almost smiled as the chains rushed towards him. He was being greatly underestimated. He had broken through the chains twice, what made his enemy think he wasn't gonna break them again. As the chains reached him, he swung his fists at the chains, knowing he easily had enough power to shatter them. As another chain came around, he simply shrugged his shoulders, protecting his neck, knowing that the chain wouldn't be strong enough to pierce his skin.

I'm gonna get fucking blindsided.... he heard an explosion which felt like they were about 1 foot away from him, and he ducked in a panic. Mori seen two of his broken, again this was becoming very annoying that this man had the strength to break them. So he moved what was left of his chains back to him and repaired the broken ones. Mori then herd the loud sound of explosions not knowing where they came from he was looking around to see, but seen nothing that could cause a explosion. This is pointless I cant even see what I'm fighting this is fucking retarded, maybe I should hold back for now. He though wile still looking around the area and seen the man go behind a shield he made. Mori then made a hand seal and placed his hand on the ground and sent two of the chains into the ground, he then waited for the opportune moment to strike. Though kept the other chains close by so if he seen something that could explode near him he could defend.

Kamina cursed aloud when Yamabushi took shelter behind a doton shield; the genjutsu was still active, and if the explosions came from nowhere, he'd figure out her little trick, without a doubt. She hid her hands behind her back as she made a couple quick handseals, cupping the scrawny green crystals in her hands before throwing the crystals in the tiny crevice of the shield, controlling their flight to keep them centered and sailing straight for the eyehole.
Once inside, Kamina planned to manipulate the senbon to fly and bounce in an endless stinging vortex, to promote the idea of exploding crystal senbon.

Ishi formed some hand-signs, and immediately took off underground, completely oblivious to the senbon that had floated in. As he inched towards his opponent, he sensed something in the ground, unsure of what it was. No chances.... He swam around the side of it at a rather quick pace, and swam under the dirt that his enemy was standing on. He was now about 2 yards behind his enemy, about 10 feet undeground.
Taking advantage of the complete shelter that was surrounding him, Ishi prepped his spear, hoping that his enemies would take the bait that he was still in the shelter...

The loud explosions still freaked out Mori but he kept focused on the piss ant of a man, and knew what he had to do. Mori then made a couple hand seals then in the ground hound heads formed on the chains again and now he could see through there eyes. He knew where the man was so all he had to do was go for the kill. As he moved the chains close to the man Mori then seen something move through the ground that looked like the man. Since most people of Iwa have a doton affinity it could be possible he was digging through the ground. Mori felt that the girl that showed up late, was fucking useless since he has been doing all the work and was getting very annoyed with her. If she did not pick up the slack soon, this little bitch would feel his chains all over her. Though he soon caught sight of the man and sent his chains towards him with blinding speed, targeting his neck wile getting read to move the chains back on track if something got in there way.

After the right hand seal Mori can make a a small demon dogs head made of chakra on the ends of his chains. The amount of heads pends on the level of chain jutsu used. The dog head has razor sharp teeth that try to bite and eat anything living they come in contact with.

She sent them whirling in an even more complicated pattern, just to test her theory; either this man had shrunken down to the size of a pea to avoid her crystals, or he was no longer in the shelter. She released control over the crystals inside the shield, and hopped onto it, watching the ground closely; it was very likely that he was underneath them.
She eyed her..."ally" as he worked, throwing around his chakra chains.
If his stamina wasn't good, she noted, he would be an incredibly ineffective opponent. Did he think out anything at all? Calculate his moves? Use any kind of strategy?
She severely doubted it.
'Poor fool,' She thought.
