[Mission] Bacon, anyone?

Post by Amy » Tue Apr 20, 2010 5:29 pm

The farmer was waiting anxiously on the outskirts of his land. He was expecting his temp employee at any moment now. The pigs needed to be found quickly before wild animals got to them. When Lala arrived, she would be pointed in the direction of the first pig. The farmer would hand Lala a whistle and wish her luck as she moved to follow the trail. He would be following behind, far behind, in order to ensure he could hear her whistle. These animals were big, they would be easy to track, leaving hoof marks and god knows what else as a trail.

If the MN was able to follow the trail of the first pig, she should watch her step. The pigs had sharp teeth and sharp hooves and they were at least twice the young girl's size if not more. She should be on the defensive, ready to strike at a moments notice as she wondered off. The pigs could charge at any moment and being trampled by one of these pigs could be deadly. To keep her eyes open and her ears alert would be very good advice for the young Missing Nin.

Lala gripped the handle of her whip in her right hand, and the handle of her knife in her left. She kept her senses open for anything that might hint at an attack, or further tracks to follow. She did this in all haste. She did not want this to drag on.

As Lala walked forward, for a few minutes she would hear nothing but the silence in the air. She would then come upon a set of freshly made tracks that seemed to have been made only moments before. Assuming that Lala followed the tracks, she would soon come upon a hole that had been dug with hooves and tusks. However, there was no pig in sight. If Lala stepped too close to the pit though, she would find that she was indeed not alone.

Hiding in a clump of bushes off to the left stood a quiet pig. His tusks large enough to do some damage and teeth that could knaw through bone. He would charge Lala from behind at a moments notice, charging right towards her legs hoping to knock them out from under her. He would be trying to cut her legs with his teeth and if he succeeded in knocking her down, the pig would begin trampling the young MN. If Lala sidestepped the pig, the pig would simply keep running in a straight line for a few yards before turning to face Lala, almost like a bull in a ring.

She continued to walk toward the hole, investigating it. When the pig charged, she heard it, and jumped into the air, slashing at it with her knife, and trying to get a killing stroke.

The large pig snorted angrily as the young girl jumped out of his path. He was large and sharp turns weren't his thing. He continued to run underneath her for a few yards before turning around and pawing at the ground underneath him. It was then that the boar-like pig felt something cold running down his back. Lala's knife had met close to it's mark and had left a large cut across the pig's back and front shoulder.

Not one to give up though, the pig again began to charge Lala but this time from the front and at a much slower pace. As he ran it was clear that his front right leg wasn't working well and that he was losing a lot of blood. One more well hit attack would kill him. Or, to be crippled would leave the pig to bleed out on the ground.

Lala would not be chancing a loss this early into the mission. She leaped ten feet into the air and onto the side of a tree. She then waited until the pig bled out. If he ran, she would follow in the trees, and when he collapsed she would cut a large gash in his neck and then move onto the next boar.

The pig snorted angrily when Lala again avoided him and after digging his tusks into the tree that she had climbed for several minutes he began running in circles around the tree. However, the curved movement was the last straw for his leg and he collapsed right by the tree, breathing heavily on his side, his chest heaving up and down.

Meanwhile, off the the right of the pig, a loud squeal echoed through the woods. It sounded as if one of the pigs was either angry or hurt. It would be up to Lala to find the pig and to figure out what had him squealing so loudly.

Lala quickly blew the whistle and then began sprinting through the trees to find the source of the noise.

The farmer smiled at the whistle and quickly found the hog before slitting his throat and loading him onto a small carriage. He was a little worried, seeing as this was the smallest of the pigs. He hoped Lala would have as much luck with the other two as she had with the first one.

If Lala had any sense of direction, she would quickly find the other pig. Oddly enough, he was running in wide circles...chasing his tail. The squeal had been from when he actually caught his tail...and had bitten right into it. When Lala happened upon the pig, the pig would most likely become even more agitated and take the same route as the other pig. Straight for Lala's legs, the one however, was dizzy and could fall away to either side of Lala at a moment's notice.

Lala stood her ground, but removed a throwing star from her belt, flicked it open, and sent it's razor sharp blades flying toward the pig's nose. If the pig kept going, she would jump into the air, over the pig, and throw two more stars at the pig's hind legs.

The pig squealed angrily as Lala threw something at it and he cut to her right side quickly, feeling the star slightly graze his side. The now very upset pig ran out into the woods, avoiding Lala's other stars. He was only gone for a few moments and when he returned, there would be the sound of two sets of hooves. The pig had gone for backup.

Lala was now faced with two very, very angry boar like pigs. They stood where the were, one facing Lala and one walking off to the right of Lala. As they stood, it seemed as if they were winding all their muscles up, waiting to let go until Lala attacked first. If she didn't attack them soon, they would give up and charge her, doing anything the could to hit her.

She waited until they charged, and at the last moment, leaped into the air and threw her remaining two stars at the pigs. Her hope was that the pigs would run into each other, allowing the stars to hit their faces. She would kill two pigs with. . . one knife.

No such luck. She did, howver, manage to hit one of the pigs in his left eye which effectively blinded him. It also completely enraged him. As soon as Lala was on the ground, the pig charged her again, aimed a little to the right. If he hit her he would probably only hit one leg, being so off centered.

The other pig stood off to the side. He was learning and he was waiting. If Lala jumped into the air again, he would run underneath her and wait for her to land on top of his sharp tusks.

The pig would not be so fortunate. Lala dashed to the pig's blindside, and chopped at his legs, trying to cripple him.

The pig grunted harshly as he fell onto his side, unable to get up. He was as good as dead. The last remaining pig snorted at Lala, mad at seeing his friend die. He was about to go walk off, sad and depressed when he remembered something. He was a pig. So what he actually did was the same thing his friend had done that got him killed. He charged Lala. This pig, however, he was ready to swing off to either side if Lala should try to strike again.

Lala jumped into the air just as the pig got close. She jumped over the pig, flipping so that her feet were in the air, and tried to carve at the pig with her knife. She then landed, and ran to where her throwing stars were embedded in a tree and dislodged them before turning to face the boar.

The pig's snort changed into an almost growl as the girl avoided him. Again. Not only that, she left a nice long cut along his back. Not deep enough to kill, just deep enough for the boar to feel is and be annoyed by it. When Lala stopped at the tree, the pig charged again. He ran as hard as he could, hoping to pin Lala to the tree. Or, he would hope that if he weren't a pig and was incapable of actually 'hoping'.

Now this, Lala had expected. There was no point in changing her strategy from before, so she didn't. She jumped up at the last moment, and gripped the tree with her chakra. If she was lucky, the boar would get his horns stuck in the tree.

Lala was smart. The pig? Notsomuch. lala was correct in her assumption, and when the pig wasn't able to completely turn away in time, he got one of his tusks stuck in the tree. Now, him being panicked by this, he quickly tore his tusk out of the tree. Or, he thought he was. In reality he broke his tusk off at the base and left it stuck in the tree. Blinded by pain and anger, the pig stood his front hooves on the tree and looked straight up at Lala, snorting angrily at her as he waited for her to come down. Again, if pigs could hope, he would hope she would fall right onto his one remaining tusk.

Lala took the two knives she had pulled from the tree and threw them down at the pig, trying to hit either the neck or the eyes. She then blew the whistle so that the farmer would get there by the time the pig was dead.

And, this is why pigs don't get into fights with people who have knifes and can jump high. The pig died right then, with a knife in his brain, and he fell hard onto the ground. The farmer arrived a few seconds later and sent Lala away, thanking her for her assistance.
