[Mission] - ...they're snakes?

Waga was the kind of place where you really got a feel for Rock Country. Quite mountains, framing the tops of bountiful trees.

And the snakes, of course. Lots of them. Waga prided itself on being a breeding ground for Black Mambas, which was an odd thing to be proud of but, come on. It was in the middle of a valley with only one way in and had no tourist attractions aside from it. What else were they could to pride themselves on? Their massive collection of boredom and failure?

Before, tourists were lucky -not- to see a Black Mamba somewhere. Now, the town was practically empty. The forests around were oddly loud and agitatingly vast, allowing few people to actually see deep enough in. On the road just outside of town, a group of three men from the village would meet the man sent to help them.

"The Poachers are using a camp at the base of the mountains." one explained, picking up a sack for Hagamari and hanging it to him, along with a spray bottle. He further went to explain their uses. The sack contained twenty odd cages for collecting the snakes and the spray bottle was full of herbs that would calm the snakes, but they warned him to make sure all the Poachers were dealt with before trying to collect any or they'd just use it to collect the snakes.

And then they sent him off, pointing him in the general direction of the mountain.

On his way, he'd hear a loud grumble and what sounded like two voices, distinct and aggravated.

"Ah man. Fucking snake. You got the anti-venom kit?" one said. In a small grove of trees, two Mamba were locked inside mesh wire cages and two men stood over them, one of them wearing a rather raggy looking tunic and suit while the other had an open kit. The one in rags had a wicked bite on his arm. "Yeah, I got it. Hold still." the other said, producing the suction cup dedicated to pulling the poison out of the wound and applying it, the other man grumbling unhappily as it was used.
