The barren land of the Rock Country was splashed with blood, and the crimson fluid was already beginning to dry when the shinobi arrived. Nearby, several men sat around a corpse, solemnity almost thick enough to be felt in the air. One of them glanced at Fudo, but quickly turned his head away, as if ashamed. His gaze eventually gravitated to a spot several inches above the shinobi's ear, as he gestured towards the body.

"He was a fine kid, eff'n a li'l rambunckious. Th' man we sar...he looked mo'e than a li'l crazy, but we wasn't gonna say nothin'. He paid like ev'ryone else, gave a few nasty looks when we told him his birds sh'd haf been outside, but he seemed purdy much harmless. We lef' him alone, he lef' us alone. Thet was, until, ah reckon..."

He glanced at the small, frail body, latticed with cuts of varying sizes and depths; it looked almost like dozens of different blades had been used to cut him repeatedly. The sound of hushed remembrance was almost heart-wrenching, until it was broken by a sigh, and a bunching of hands.

"Our fella's allus been a li'l curious, an' ah guess thass whut set th' man off. He started axin' whar he was fum, whuffo' he'd come hyar, all them quesshuns we knowed drif'ers usually doesn't wanna answer. Eventually th' fella axed whuffo' he had so menny birds, an' he...fine..." He glanced back at the body, holding up a hand and pointing to the boy's face; one of the other townspeople brushed away a strand of auburn hair, and gently stroked his cheek, bloodying his head.

"Th' man jest laughed, an' said they were thar t'kill varmints thet annoyed him, dawgone it. We were already haidin' out t'git our fella, but he had t'ax. Our son barely managed t'ax eff'n he was annoyin' befo'e them birds gotta him, dawgone it. Cut him up sumpin fierce...we reckon he died fum bleedin', but we doesn't knows yet."

He finally glanced Fudo in the eyes, glaring with a ferocity that would've seemed entirely at odds with his former, meek and almost subdued personality.

"ah's hankerin' this son of a bitch brought t'jestice. ah's hankerin' him t'pay. Find him, an' wrin' his neck."

"Another day, and another shot."

"Another shot, another Bigalzillion brain cells!"

"Aye," said the man as he hummed in reply. The two were at their driest mood, because they were drinking dry liquor in the middle of morning; already drained by waking up with migraines from last night's hangover. So drained in the fact that they began talking about it with smiles on their faces, talking about how theirs was worse than the other one.

Then they puked to the side at the picture of another's misery.

Taisaku arrived from up the stairs, and began to already walk off towards the door, fully dressed and ready to situate himself for the day. The two bragged a little about how proud they were, uncle and father of a Sentinel. How touching.

They always had this sense of pride from the seed under, though happened to care little about their own selves in a daily and healthy sense. His silent exit reassured their praise, for they figured he was cool enough to make the Fudoyori more proud than any of the predecessors in history.

When the day unfolded itself, Taisaku left Hidden Stone with a letter, and was told there were dangerous birds in this man's possession. And that it was best to find out more about him as he prowl behind his shadows a bit.

There wasn't much known about the missing-nin involved in the murder. He went by the name of Juk, and he was a rather thin man, almost bird-like in his own appearance. His nose was thin and seemed almost to have been tugged to a point by a device, and his eyes were wide and inhumanly bright. He spoke rarely, but when he did it was with a high pitched, grating voice that seemed almost designed to annoy. The birds that he carried with him seemed almost asleep most of the time, though they did stir. When they did awake, they would typically attack or intimidate anyone near, and then return to their rest.

They hadn't noticed him leave the small town just yet, but shinobi had multiple ways of leaving unnoticed. He'd have to decide if he wanted to check the town or the rocky land first.

[ooc: a little groggy from school right now. Sorry if I make any mistakes.]

Taisaku had found the place unfolding the latest discovery on this mystery man. And like a secret agent man, he delved into all the information given without a chance for any leads redirected back to himself. He disguised both body and voice, and tried getting answers from separate ways of introducing and expressing himself. This was in fact the methods he learned on how to crack black-markets, and succeeded annihilating three of them in the past.

The secret were mere gossips, but that was a good start. Only when he went on further, after asking women and men, he asked a kid who had talked about it from the distance. It took twelve hours to find this kid.

He learned that the trail this man lead had been a simple one for the hoodlum. The kid then lead Taisaku to the man's single trail...

Guiding him without fear of the result if they were to actually meet this guy.

What the kid told him made Taisaku more fascinated in this man: That he kills people.

[ooc: Not a problem, don't make some quick shitty post just to make the deadline. As long as I know you're still invested in a mission, I won't rush you.]

The missing-nin did indeed kill people, and with almost childlike abandon. In the clearing ahead, the Missing Nin sat on a small rock, staring at the sky; the birds were laying on the rock next to him, most with heads hidden within their wings to block out the sun as they slept. He was humming softly to himself, and he seemed not even to realize that he was being watched from nearby. Finally, after a moment, one of his birds extracted a beak from its feathers, staring around blearily, and cawing. The missing nin reached out slowly, placing a hand on its head, and chuckling.

"I know, Jiei. You're probably hungry, aren't you? I'll see if I can't find some food for you soon."

Taisaku learned that the path chosen was beginning to grow wider the further they went. The kid sure had a way of knowing certain parts of Iwa no Kuni, but hadn't valued it much. He cried a lot about its heat at times, and made these annoying screeches off and on. A personality flaw at best, like his father's own, so it was something easy to ignore and live with along the way.

After a good walk, the boy started climbing up a tree, and revealed a telescope. This was his merit, an old fashioned telescope with the extra calculations burrowing within expensive mirrors. It happened to be the best steal he ever encountered he said after leaping off the tree and then explaining how far they were from a man who controls birds.

Perfect.

"Here's the plan..."

Already the kid had something in mind. With a good whisper, the two parted ways. Taisaku sinking into the ground, and the boy walked unwisely towards the killer.

"Hey! You! Duur-Duur Birdman!"

OOC: Apologies. School's been keeping me all over the place.

Juk raised his head slightly, his beak-like nose and the thin, severe squint to his eyes almost ludicrously similar to the birds squatting on his shoulder. Jiei, the only bird currently awake, focused on Taisaku, but with some reluctance. Its wings flared outward, and its chest puffed out as it tried to scare the shinobi before it, but a moment later it almost deflated, when Juk's hand rose to caution it. "You must be the guy they sent to catch me. Guess this'll be fun. Haven't killed a shinobi in a while~"

He began to form handseals quickly, and all four of his birds awoke with the movement of his hands. The nearest bird to the left opened its mouth in a caw, and Juk sneered slightly; a small orb of flame formed in the bird's open beak, firing at Taisaku quickly.

"Hot enough for ya, kid?"

[OOC: It's cool. And yeah: Taisaku is underground before they encountered anyone. Pretty much, they only know of the kid's presence. I'll just reply with the kid being targeted, since Taisaku isn't there to be noticed at the moment (being underground).]

The Kid looked around, and saw these birds floating over his head... He was over his head for doing this, and then figured it was for the love of fun and adventure. Besides, in his own right mind, his life wasn't going all too well being a lone info boy. He knew that he'd die from financial problems or hunger, and knew that there wouldn't be anyone in the world out to fix any of his wrong doings. And he for sure knew that living as a bum would not be the way he hoped to partake...

So with that, he confronted these birds, and took notice of the small ball of flame with tension in his eyes. It came diving in at high speeds, so he knew for sure his ability to avoid it would be near impossible. After doing his best to dip and roll over, the orb still hit him. As a result, a small burst commenced on his hip, knocking him off balance. Changing his dip and roll into a backbreaking flip. After landing, he learned that his hip felt bruised from the impact, and his right arm was nearing the experience of a full numbing sensation.

The thought of never becoming a bum again was his drive, and with that, he ran forwards, this time with a knife out of his left pocket, willing to penetrate the birdman!

In the meantime... Taisaku was underground, taking advantage of the scene in silence as he swam beneath the bird owner. Without trying to showing that he was even in the battlefield just yet--since he sunk underground before they even encountered, and thus was the invisible man in this ordeal--he performed the required handseals and silently lifted a hand out from underground, just an inch behind the man's heel. With a bit of chakra emission, he released a hand built of Doton with Genjutsu induced to it.

A well played strategy only a Sentinel of Iwagakure no Sato could think up so hastily.

Jutsu UsedShow
Stone Flicker
D-Rank Ninjutsu
Doesn’t really cost much of any chakra. Using a thrust with his hand, he creates a mimicking stone of it, able to fly as fast as throwing a projectile [the maximum of having two in one turn--because he has two hands]. With it, the user can hit the opponent, and nothing will happen but the feeling of a normal rock of hand-size thrown at high speeds. The reason why it is so weak is that it is primarily the catalyst for a few Genjutsu. The technique works after one Tiger handseal [but must go in a chain if they wish to use it with a touch-related Genjutsu] and the user will fling it. The maximum range is 70 feet for the projectile. Beyond that point, it crumbles in the air.

Impact
B-Rank Genjutsu
Requirements: Stone Flicker [Doton]
Before using Stone Flicker as catalyst, the user uses stone flicker's single seal and this set of seals, and then throws them. The user may create this Gen onto the person feeling the stonehand touch. With it, they notice that their body is beginning to be swallowed to stone. Like the gargoyle effect. Similar to how ice moves, it creeps from contact location to the entire body. The creep lasts 1 post, while the stand-still will last 2 posts. They must have a strength of 6 to break free.

The strategy was indeed well played, for the missing-nin was struck full in the back by the stone, his body lurching forward slightly. He turned to spot what had hit him, but his body was sluggish, almost stiff; he reached a hand back, feeling stone there, and cocked his head curiously. "What, did the rock stick or something? You better hope I don't get this thing off, of you're dead, kid!" His hands began to scrabble at his back, trying to peel away the stone he felt, but after a moment his eyes widened; not only was the stone staying, it was creeping across his body like a fungus.

"Shit! I KNEW there was a shinobi here! Alright, kid, no more playing. I'm gonna kill you!" He tried to run forward, but his leg, frozen stiff by the genjutsu, gave way and dropped him to the ground. With a cry of surprise, the birds all jumped off of his body, flapping in annoyance. A moment later, one of the birds landed on his head, staring at him curiously, before landing a peck on his forehead. Juk winced slightly, but as he did he could feel the stone on his leg loosening. Grinning slightly, he reached up to the bird and stroked its feathers.

"That's a good bird. Now why don't you get me out of this shit?"

With a cry for an answer, the bird's talons began to glow a faint blue in color, and the chakra began to surge through his body. A moment later, Juk pushed to his feet, smiling nastily.

"Didn't think these guys were for show, did you?"

Taisaku figured that the mission was going to be over and done with by now. He could tell that the stone was creeping over him from the Genjutsu, as the man was complaining very loudly. Then learned about the birds he was with... One did Kai on him on physical contact. And he could see it happening as the man was smiling, pushing his feet, and replying about the birds' being nothing of the normal.

It was a bit of a shocker, but not so entirely. He knew that the man was now susceptible to Genjutsu, and just needed a quicker lead, with that bird not being so close by.

"Now... A hate birds..." he replied as his body began to rise up from the ground, hand resting over the opponent's shoulder. Gliding along the air were his feet, as he used his opponent as momentum. In a quick movement, he whipped his left heel towards the bird, forcing the winds to scream as he speedily kicked it. If this were to succeed to strike or not, he would then use that leg's knee to ram into the opponent's nose, hoping to daze him or knock him out from the impact.

OOC: Y'know, most B rank missions go around a full page...

The shinobi rose behind the missing-nin, but Juk hardly seemed to notice the presence. He was focused almost entirely on the small child, making more handseals as he did. A second bird, this one having spread out to watch the battlefield, let out a cautionary caw, and Juk turned quickly. The spinning momentum of the sentinel's attack caused a gust of wind to strike the raven, sending it careening away, dazed slightly; the kick, however, missed its target. While Taisaku's knee rocketed around, hoping to strike Taisaku, the Missing-nin's hand rose, catching the knee within his palm, and squeezing savagely. While he held it, his hand began to course with bright yellow chakra, running through the shinobi's leg and numbing it. He stepped back, laughing madly, and spreading his arms out.

"Been fun, y'know! Shame I've gotta fly!"

At the last word, his birds returned to his shoulders, each one grasping part of his clothing; unlike before, they seemed shockingly alert, compared to their previous lazy appearance. Each set of eyes, including Juk's, was set on the Jounin, oozing as much vitriol as they could, before he turned. Leaping ahead, he began to zig and zag through the stony area, making it nearly impossible for Taisaku to keep up with his movements.

Just beside Taisaku, the sound of faintly flapping wings, and a bird's caws came to the jounin's ears. The bird he had struck recently was still lying on the ground, trying to reach a standing position, so it could return to its master.

Taisaku figured that he was in for the win with the kick (to the bird) and a knee bash (to the man's face) all in one sweep. And if it wasn't enough, he felt that it would go on nicely if he still had the chance to stay in the air and went for a combination of some sort. Then learned of the shocker his opponent summoned... Annoyingly, he had to learn that the Ninja was an Electric type, and to have its shock commencing from his thrusting knee... In a bold effort to regain himself, he leapt off his foe, and stared at him with that same malicious intent. The scenery became a little cold as he saw the Shinobi begin to create a confusion with his movements.

Nonetheless, he had to conjure a new plan up.

The one with the kid's support had only one flaw. And in a life or death situation, one flaw can end up being one's swift defeat as strong as a million flaws. The flaw were these annoying birds. They were the man's surveillance. Jin started to understand this a bit late, and now knew how troublesome this mission could be with them under his wing.

He could go for a dash attack, and meet his foe along the ends of his swift movement. Then figured it had chances to miss with him not located in a particular or more easer to read spot. Therefore, he had two choices:

To finish this bird off...

Or go with massacre intent over his opponent while he was dashing.

Without even allowing the bird to try and begin a full regain, he summoned his Junbei from his hand and struck it instantly. Not even looking at it, as his eyes still were in contact with his opponent's.

With that, he followed along. Dipping into the forest. Following the man's lead...

Juk was quick, and now that he knew Taisaku was after him, he was determined. He took cover behind every rock he saw, often disappearing from the sentinal's sight for several seconds. Had it been possible to see the missing-nin in those scant moments, Juk's plan may have come as less of a shock. He was by no means quicker than Taisaku, even with his raiton jutsu, so the gap between them was slowly closing. Just before Juk was close enough for the shinobi's hands to brush against clothing, he ducked behind the nearest rock. A split second later, he burst out from behind the rock, running in the opposite direction; from his new position, he began to form rapid handseals, knowing that even a second's hesitation would get him caught.

He whirled on Taisaku, his hands placed by his face, and his eyes opening wide as he roared. "BYE!" A powerful blue light shot out from his hands, strong enough to blind Taisaku for a bit if he hadn't been prepared for it. Now, with the enemy disabled for a bit, Juk was free to return to town. No shinobi would fight in a public area, he knew that much...

Everything was beginning to warm up as Taisaku went on further to unleashing the prowess of his speed, but not so in the manner he'd burst with full potential. He was patient with his energy on this assult, but also trying to grip hold of apprehension of the criminal. Still, the guy had been moving like butter, slipping the chances for Taisaku's offenses.

It irritated him when he found that he was almost in contact with the oppponent, only to fall off in the end, and slip his step as he struck him with a bold fist. It had been quick, but before he knew it, the moment went into a much more annoying situation: The man blinded him. In his reaction to it all, he lost his sight.

If only he had his impants activated at the time... It should have been within his assumptions since the Shinobi knew of electrical techniques, and was trying to runaway with all the best tricks up his sleeve. But it shouldn't be a time like this or a person like him to fall indepth and hurtful for that. He had to go on.

After reacting to the flash, arms up, he went off running by memory. There was nothing but to go straight. To avoid the trees, while running his body dipped inside the ground, ready to situate this once and for all.

Little that he knew, he was heading for a little village.

Juk reached the village in record time, beginning to shove people aside, nearly screeching as he did; he needed to put as many innocents as possible between himself and this Sentinel before he tried to figure anything else out. He could think and plan more than enough once he had ensured that he wouldn't be attacked from nowhere. He leaned against a wall, catching his breath and beginning to look around him. A few people were watching him carefully, some with concern, others with fear. Finally, after a few moments' rest, he managed to push away from the people, beginning to move between them slowly and carefully. He was too preoccupied with working out a way to escape to bother with a henge, at this point...

When his eyes were beginning to see the earth, Taisaku continued running as he emerged back above ground, with his head and vision narrowing. Arms flying from behind him, legs storming over the surface after it easily slipped back from beneath. It was as if the ground had been like water as he rose back.

Willing to take alternative action, he rose back only to look at people in his surroundings. One by one, he swiftly dodged all the ones that were in his way. The time of motion fit the eye of direction, making his body run like fluid as his head dipped under a swinging crate carried by two men, and leaps over children and other annoying obstructions.

He just hoped the man wouldn't commit to anything reckless with all these people, or else he'd be in for it this time.

After a huge jump over a small booth, he took his ability to situate his peripherals into dedicated perspectives. Forcing himself to look in all ways with only one split dart from left to right. Immediately, he knew that... he fell off trail.

But the shinobi had to be somewhere. All Taisaku had to do was see where the more open areas have been dug up by from his running, and start to follow from there... or wait for him to do something foolish.

Juk did something foolish. Caught up among the people, constantly ducking and weaving through them, the missing-nin began to lose his temper. People bumped into him, people began to glance at him, and he could feel paranoia creeping in. He had lived this long by always being prepared, always aware of how dangerous his life was, but here, surrounded by so many people, every glance was a judging gaze. Every person he passed was a shinobi in disguise. Every child asking for some candy was the most heinous of traps.

"Shit, I've got to get out of here!"

He lept forward, knocking several people aside, and turning behind him. Disgruntled people watched his escape, and he could've sworn he saw the familiar flash of the Jounin's face. But it was gone in an instant, and he was running along as quickly as possible, trying to distance himself. Without the cover of other people, the missing nin would be an easily spotted target.

Taisaku figured it was going to be a difficult time catching this criminal. He chose a good spot, filled with a number of people. Characters of every kind wasn't common to see, so the unusual would still be a bit easier to tell unless they've used Henge no Jutsu. So patience had to be his strong suit, and if it wasn't, he must enforce it upon himself as if it were.

Being a well versatile shinobi, he had changed from an annoyed feeling to a composed one. His eyes were even settling in for careful scopes, looking left and right as he started to slow his pace to a fair walk. A feeling like this can also situate himself with the area, changing any eyes looking at him suspiciously, especially if they saw his Hitai-Ate.

Then his patience gave him a reward. The man he was chasing all this time had appeared not even twenty feet away from his side, rushing for his life outside the crowd it seemed.

Paranoia Schizophrenia? This will be my actual second time chasing these types... Annoying but with benefits, obviously.

With him leading the way, Taisaku then followed. Hurriedly this time, he leapt one swift leap, and went in with all his effort. In his hand was nothing, even though it had been in cup-shape. As soon as he closed in, he summoned something truly bizarre... a thick, wooden table top. With the strength to left and swing its blunt force with ease, he struck the shinobi, and began to create an aggressive look with his eyebrows.

Revealing that he was willing to break the table just to stop him or slow him down enough to postpone all the running away.

The missing-nin was shocked to find that the jounin chasing him had caught on so fast. He was even more shocked when the man summoned...a table? This shit was getting annoying. He shouted a word that seemed to galvanize one of his birds into action; the avian's beak opened wide, and as Juk formed rapid handseals, a small orb of fire shot out. It struck the wooden table top, flames licking across the material, as he began to run. "Why the fuck can't you just leave me ALONE!? I'm just trying to get by! Go find some kid to save from a tree or something! I won't come back to Iwa, I swear, just get the fuck off my back!"

Taisaku saw the flames eating the table away.
I guess I'll have to buy a new one tomorrow.

The air was beginning to get colder as Taisaku felt the rush to leap to the side so he could avoid the dangerous heat. Before the fire, he felt that time was on his side, since there wasn't any time limit to begin with, and he had this man close, and the only way he could flee out of his sites was to leave the border. But they had to be miles away from the area.

But as soon as the flames arrived, he dodged it, and his time frame to capture was increasing, and he even saw it as the Ninja was beginning to move into the distance a little more, with his speed unaffected. Just this small gap can be a huge thing when it came to capturing even a Chuunin ranked ninja, for you wouldn't know what could be in their sleeves next.

"Nothing personal. Just following orders."

With that, Taisaku increased his pace, performed a number of handseals hoping to at least be by his side. He figured since he removed the life of the Genjutsu bird, this man would have a problem to face with this technique coming a second time.

With that, he flicked out a pair of stone-made hands.

techniques usedShow

"Stone hand-the-fuck this." Juk formed a single quick handseal, and as he did, the birds on his shoulder lept slightly into the air, flapping laconically while Taisaku's burning table reappeared in front of them. Two large hand prints could be seen in it, the Sentinel's jutsu had slammed through the already weakened material. Juk, now behind the Jounin, was already making a dash in the opposite direction. His birds, now soaring higher into the air and flying after their master, would be almost entirely out of Taisaku's reach for now.

Taisaku lifted off the occasion, with the birds taking the innitiative action to support their leading character. When it all happened so quick, Taisaku could only dip under as the brid swooped on by. With that, he had to glide to the ground again. This was getting him nowhere, and he had to fix this situation in this chase.

As of right now, he had no leads, nothing but the follow the shinobi from underground. The route he took was a little curvacious, and would trick the shinobi to think he may be following along in a linear path as he was.

Juk was in his element, now. He had survived several years as a missing-nin, but this was the first time they'd send a Jounin to catch him. In a way, he was flattered; was he really that infamous? Did they think he was that big of a threat? In another, it was terrifying. As this man had proved, the enemies he was up against now were feirce, and powerful. They wouldn't simply let him go, not until they were dead, or he was. But that was part of the fun. He'd spent so long in the wild, he had lost his connection with people. That was clear when he had been filled with such strong apprehension among the crowds.

Until now, his suspicions had been to his advantage; he'd managed to stop many traps set by shinobi, simply by expecting them. The Sentinel had caught him off guard, in part by employing a boy from the village to distract him. But now, without so many people around, his natural paranoia was his greatest weapon. He was aware of every dry tree he passed, every stone he spotted. If the shinobi tried to trick him he'd be ready.

Being a renown figure in Iwagakure wasn't something someone could easily grasp or seek. It was offered. How it was offered to him was for the fact that what the things he did were done on point, with no falters, with not time wasted. His job here was either capture or dispose, simple as that. His intentions were to capture at first, but this shinobi proved that he was no easy thing to have his hands on. So, in cases like these, he would begin to innitiate the mental drive to dispose the enemy, with the only sign to spare his life be shown very subliminally and near the end, when the ninja was missing a limb or two.

That's how Taisaku rolled. He didn't like wasting time, and he figured the shinobi didn't like to be captured. It was becoming a cat and mouse chase, and he had to end this little gig sooner than later.

When he sped in a curve, he ended up rising once hitting 180 degrees. As he rose back up the surface, he could see the shinobi headed his way. Scarf floating up from his ascension, and then down and around with the wind as he planted his feet. His eyes looked at the shinobi with not just malice, but with eerie planning.

He created one handseal, and started running head-on. With that, he made a hand gesture, innitiating a Genjutus. What happened next was he skipped to the side, and essentially keep a clone there in his place, leaving him out of sight. To the enemy, it was nothing more than a handseal and a gesture. With that, he continued to make it so that he had a trick up his sleeve, and placed the hand he used to gesture hide behind his back.

Pre-planned
C-Ranked Genjutsu
A simple manuever made when the user is beginning to cook something up, especially in close quarters. What happens is they create a handseal, then waves his arms around [being the trigger], and begin moving to a maximum of a meter from their place. What happens is that they created an illusion of having themself invisible, and only one clone present in his place. What's wrong with it is that the user will need to be at the most, a meter away from it, or it will vanish. Hitting the illusion also cancels it. Creating jutsu also cancels it. Attacking the person affected will definately cancel it. Duration set for three posts.

Juk stared at the jounin as he rose from the ground, just a few meters ahead. Already, his eye was twitching with frustration; why did all these guys have to be such hound dogs? Why couldn't they just take some ryo and leave? Every time he'd come across a shinobi, it ended the same; they chased him, from here to the ends of the earth, and then he'd either kill them or they'd run off and call for backup. Either way he'd get a few more weeks of privacy. But this Sentinel was different. He had no intention of backing down, it seemed. Even as the Missing-Nin began to form his handseals, he watched the Jounin stand firm.

"Get the fuck out of my way! I'm not dyin' here, or now, or anywhere, or EVER!" He jabbed a finger, almost accusingly, and a bolt of lightning shot from it. The speed was almost blinding.

*Raiton• Yama No Jutsu [Lightning Element • Rifle technique]
C-rank Ninjutsu
After completing a simple set of hand seals the user will either focus chakra into their bladed weapon or index finger. He or she then points their hand (or the tip of their weapon) at the target and fires off a high velocity bolt of lightning. The lightning bolt itself will only cause minor damage, but due to the speed of the attack the impact is more than enough to knock the air out of someone or send them flying backwards.

Taisaku couldn't take it anymore. This Shinobi was trying his best to run out of range, but the apparent speed power between them was obvious. Taisaku was mowing in. After the creation of his Genjutsu, he tried to sprint a bit closer intangibly, with his clone steadily three feet behind him. Making his approach three feet closer than what the ninja could have expected. A tactic of deception known to take down the most vile of ninjas he knew was about to commence.

When he saw the opponent shoot lightning again, he figured it would hit the clone and spare him. In fact, his prediction was proven true as it happened before his eyes. With his deception unveiling before his opponent's eyes as the clone disappears.

The sound of the birds were beginning to soar from the sound of the shocking light, but as they started to flock in fright, that's when Taisaku entered the opponent's proximity. The air was beginning to feel warm as two warm-blooded beings were near to each other. He could almost feel the heavy breathing of his own being backfired from his opponent's heavy breathing. Sure enough tension would rise from this surprise attack.

Quickly after the clone was taken out by the lightning shot, Taisaku performed the Tori handseal. Obviously, the surprised opponent would see this in close range, in high definition, and watch as Taisaku hand go for a slap in the face. It looked simple, but the trick is to make them not view his following attack to the Genjutsu/Taijutsu combo.

With that, he leapt. Soaring for only a moment so as to close in from above, and perform the Hayabusa Otoshi!

-------Techniques-------

Five Fingers [Go-Yubi]
D-Rank Genjutsu
Pretty much Taisaku's tactic to trick the opponent while in close range battle. Quickly, the user performs with the Tori handseal. If the opponent sees this handseal, they begin to see a hand are slapped in the face, with their head is turning from the blow. Not literally will their head turn, but they really can see the trees from their side if they were in a forest for example. It's a one second thing. What's usefull about it is that the user can gain the opportunity to strike. But the slap is so short, that this is impossible to perform long range if he were to fight with no teammates. Because it's so shortly lived, even at close combat range, the user will not be able to perform another Ninjutsu involving handseals if by chance he was planning for any combos [pretty much good for a Taijutsu-only combo].

*Hayabusa Otoshi [Peregrine Falcon Drop]
B-Ranked Taijutsu
Hayabusa Otoshi is a Taijutsu technique used by [Insert Character's Name here]. While at an elevated position, the user will grab his opponent from behind. Firmly locking himself to their back, he will lock his ankles to their neck to get their body rigid. He will then plant them head first into the ground. Essentially a belly to back pile driver, the move can provide a great concussion to his opponent's head.

"Enough."
The missing-nin felt the hand connect with his face, felt the stinging pain, and for some reason was filled with a white-hot fury at the shinobi before him; did he really think so little of Juk? Was this really the way Jounin were? Juk could already feel his insides boiling, as he formed a single handseal. Though he couldn't see the Sentinel anymore, he had a vague idea of where he was. He shifted to the side, quicker even than a normal flicker; all Taisaku would've noticed was a bolt of lightning racing into the sky, and another jetting down, a few meters away from where his attack had been directed. With each one came a peal of thunder, loud enough to disorient.

As it faded away, Juk stood just out of Taisaku's sight, holding a kunai staring at him as a person would've a particularly big, particularly annoying insect. "Fuck running. I gotta show you that I'm not someone you just fuck with." He tossed the kunai with a startling quickness, forming several quick handseals as he sneered. "You're faster than me; you faster than lightning, though?"

As soon as he started to talk, the kunai exploded in a yellow ball of electricity, ready to blow Taisaku back, had he not moved.

*Raiton • Denkou Senshin [Lightning Element • Lightning Flicker]
A-rank Ninjutsu
A technique combining the users Raiton element and the Body Flicker technique. It allows the user to travel further and faster than they could with the Body Flicker. It appears as though the user transforms into a bolt of lightning which streaks into the sky. As the user leaves and arrives, there is the boom of thunder, due to displaced air.

*Raiton • Capacitor [Lightning Element • Capacitor]
C-rank Ninjutsu
The ninja using this technique is able to store electricity in objects that can be used at a later time. By forming the proper handseals, the user can release the electricity from within the item and cause a violent shock blast with a radius of five feet around the item. The strength of the blast depends on the amount of electricity that was stored within the item before it was released. This is most effective when used with metal throwing items.

Taisaku was a man of little words. When he knew that the opponent would talk, he always knew they had nothing much in their sleeve but counterattacks and defensive manuevers. This attempt to avoid Taisaku's Taijutsu/Genjutsu combo was odd, but it worked through as he took the natural defense to turn into lightning for a bit. Like some sort of Shunshin.

Then he went for the counter, but had to talk. In a battle, if you were seeking to win, you shouldn't waste time talking. While the ninja made his two setences, pretty much ignoring them and understanding that he was going for the counter as he didn't continue on running, Taisaku finally summoned the spectacular Junbei from its respective tattoo, and began to position himself to perform the Jougen Bensou, with his arms pretty much straight ahead, weaponing spinning slowly, and going fast only when the attack presented itself.

Right when he positioned, the attack went in, and he started deflecting. He then remembered what this ninja said. Speed of light? The attack is as fast as the kunai thrown, with electical backup. If anything, it wasn't quick, just annoying to be placed in defensive position.

Sure, Taisaku was faster, but this electical junk was getting on his nerves.

Just to entice the missing ninja, he finished with a: "Enough. With Junbei now here... I'll give you just 3 seconds to run...This is where it ends."

While looking at him with those cold hawklike eyes, Taisaku then formed his stance; legs parting ways from east to west; left arm curling in to drag the blade behind him as the hand held the hilt, creating this half-circle slice upon the ground; and right hand positioning to be ready to grasp his weapon.

He then breathed, with an odd moment for the air to come in loudly before his chest could create a inhaling reaction, and the same when he exhaled. This was an eerie form of Iiajutsu, that he mastered as a Sentinel. He hadn't used it in a while, but figured it was now time to end this annoying game...

Juk narrowed his eyes, his hands held out in front of him, in the bird handsign. He knew that whatever was about to happen was going to happen fast; a tad TOO fast, perhaps. Even the missing-nin wasn't certain he could keep up with this Jounin, or take him down. But something seemed to settle over him, filling him with a fierce pride he was unaccustomed to. This Sentinel had been making a fool of him this entire time, hadn't taken him seriously yet. Juk was tired of being swept aside, tired of going unnoticed. Yeah, that's how he had survived until now; did it mean it was how he wanted to keep surviving?

No, the missing nin realized. It was no fun being a refugee if no one knew about you. He grinned, his hands speeding through the handsigns for another jutsu, before he almost shot his palm outward at Taisaku; from it, a small, roughly baseball-sized orb of yellow light shot forward, almost too fast to comprehend.

"I ain't runnin' now. I'm ready to kill."

The missing-nin glared at Taisaku, from behind a pair of dark circled, sagging eyes. It wasn't especially clear yet, but he was taking a toll from these jutsu.

*Tama Raiton no Jutsu (Balled Lightning)
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user begins to gather energy into their hands. The energy then turns into a ball of electricity about 6-12 inches in diameter depending on the amount of energy. The user then aims at the opponent and fires the lightning ball. The shot is incredibly fast, and, upon contact with the enemy, the ball explodes with electricity which sends electrical charges all throughout the opponents body. This jutsu can cause second degree burns to the opponent. If this jutsu isn’t fired off in time, it will explode in the users hands, damaging the user instead.

The time period in this mission had taken longer than what he assumed. He figured it would be a good quick catch, but learned that this guy was still too slippery. Now, he was willing to give it his all with the fact that he wasn't going to run. Taisaku saw this in many, and learned well to not over- or underestimate their abilities. He didn't find it interesting or disinteresting on how they felt or reacted, he knew people were different. He could see it in his uncle and father... The fact that the man was going to take the attack that he saw from Taisaku's stance proved that he had go with ferocity.

That he could only show honor with a quicker death.

Keeping that in mind, Taisaku did not budge. It didn't matter. He counted down to three, and the man was still there, handseals ready, and willing to throw a ball of pure lightning. Taisaku, still in prepared confronting position performed the infamous Iwagakure Shunshin no Jutsu. Reappearing roughly 57 degrees around this opponent, where he was at the moment before cirling around him from underground earlier.

Although he made a good dodge, the lightning still came intact to him by a margin with his lightning fast speed compared to his instantaneous. Surging a good electrical graze or lick on his shoulder, which was still able to make a shocking sensation over his body, though not to its full potential. Although his action had been instantaneous, obviously it was his humanly timing from the time it left the fingers which still had him touched.

Still in his stance, Taisaku waited no time as he instantly reappeared from his opponent's corner let side. With that, he went for the strike without hesitation, having all his speed and strength being in the display. His long sword only flickered once by the time he reached up to his opponent, striking in for an 'X' shape right through him.

Juk watched the Sentinel sinking beneath the earth quickly, this time before his very eyes; a few other times he knew the Jounin had come from the ground, but seeing him do it was something radically different. He found his eyes bulging, and his jaw hanging slightly, as he did his best to turn. The missing-nin only barely turned in time to see the Jounin behind him, drawing a weapon and dashing for him. For a split second, he seemed fine. After a single second, however, Juk's legs began to lose their strength, and he crashed to the ground almost gracefully, blood leaking from his chest in one long, deep furrow. "Looks like you were too fast, after all...Ah, fuck it. Tired of runnin'..."

He fell to the ground, his heart pumping the last of his life's blood into the stones.

Taisaku could only see the night stroll on, as his lungs began to rise and jitter. Nothing could be seen for miles, and the only sense his body had grasped was the sense of touch; the sense of pain. He performed well today, and as he opened his eyes, and started to see trees billowing, his mind returned to its cleared state, and the reflection of gold materialized in his eyes as the sun's light began to bathe the scene.

Time felt like it had stopped, but it didn't. It took one sound for him to realize this as he started to feel the heating sensation all over him. It was the sound of his fallen opponent. His face looked a little red from the attack he was able to avoid with Shunshin, but his dutiful but tired mind didn't care. Indeed the ninja knew his tricks, however the Sentinel was able to become the victor in this bout.

"Another day, another breath."

Was all he uttered as he turned around, and saw the body he had just chopped down. Little that the Sentinel knew, he had been standing in his finishing strike stance for a whole minute almost, with his eyes closed in hopes to restore energy naturally, and didn't realize it because of the energy, chakra, and mind consumption he had wasted away today.

As soon as he approached the body, he kneeled over him, with his long scarf near to touching the soon-to-be carcass' spine. His golden eyes stared for a moment, then figured that he had to answer the ninja again so as to why he had to chase and hunt him down. Just to make himself clear, so that it wouldn't be personal to him in the afterlife...
“Just doing my job.” Taisaku then threw him over his shoulder, and fled the scene. Sinking underground one last time.
