[Mission] Meet Your Master

Sarutoru had been busy studying the recent rise in activity with the group known as Henkou; a series of Missing-Ninja, under the control of one of the most infamous shinobi in the world. If he could find a way to get to Yaku Fushinkou, and to rain down all of Iwagakure's strength on him at once, he could be looking at nothing but respect; at nothing but glory. He'd become IMMORTAL. All he'd need was one little in, and he was confident he could do the rest.

But for now, the village ninja had to satisfy himself with surveying Rock Country, looking for any sign of runaways, or of people in need. He was growing bored, almost hoping someone would try to break in, or out, or something...it would certainly give him something to do, and it'd give him a chance to keep his body occupied while his mind worked.

[Tsedas]

It had been quite the ordeal to track down his target while remaining anonymous in his old country. He gazed at a lone ninja seemingly on patrol, his target being a good ways away. Lowering his binoculars he made his move toward the Iwa nin. Saigo wasn't taking risks with this one. He was going in heavy, and hard. Shishio, Saigo's Senju henchman, was already forming seals as they split, arcing to two different sides.

Finishing the last seal, Shishio dropped behind an outcropping as he came to a halt. Continuing in his place however was a wooden lion that seemingly 'grew' out of the ground. The Lion ran as fast as it could toward Sarutoru while Saigo moved around to get him from behind. Saigo's plan was simple, let the lion distract the target while Saigo came up from behind and attempted to put his hand on his head.

As this went on, the Senju started moving again, coming in behind the lion as he performed more seals.

†Mokushishi no Jutsu [Wooden Lion Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Mokuton: Ki Bunshin no Jutsu
Using the Wood Element and the same basic concept for the Wood Clone, Shishio will force saplings to come together in the form of a skeletal wooden lion that's roughly five feet long(including the tail), four feet high, with a width of one and a half feet. This lion essentially exists for two posts and blitzes the enemy, attempting to do as much damage as it can before it cracks and breaks apart into kindling. It is easily destroyed by Katon techniques and takes less hits than a Wood Clone considering the lion is skeletal and easily destroyed.

"Lions? Ahhh, fuck. This day's just gonna get worse; I can already tell." He was forming the handseals already, as he began to spout his profanities. His hands clasped together, pulling aside slowly, and a bright purple net of chakra formed; the lion crashed into it just as it finished, snapping and scratching at him, but it was unable to bypass the barrier on its own. Sarutoru stepped around the beast in one smooth movement, unhooking his Kanabo and sending it crashing into the beast's head from above. It was a relatively weak creature, obviously made on the fly...but SOMEONE had made it, and there was no way they had just left after that.

"Come on, then. Let's see what you can do."

[Tsedas]

The Senju leapt upward, going over the barrier and the remains of his Wood Lion as the shoved his arm forward. Coming out of his arm were a series of poles that extended forward with some speed. The poles began branching as they aimed to pin the Iwa ninja to the ground as Saigo came up from behind, pulling a pair of gas bombs from his pouch before hurling them at the poles. If he aimed right, they'd break around the target's head and he'd inhale the poison. Saigo would try and use the gas as cover to keep the Iwa nin from seeing him coming as he readied his palm to put it on the other man's head.

Shouki Joutai Ichi [Miasma State 1]
D rank Poison
This poison was developed by Saigo to induce nausea in the victim. This poison is deployed through gas bombs and gets into the body through inhalation. Causing lightheadedness and the vague urge to want to vomit, this disrupts the targets concentration and often causes them to have a little trouble focusing. Overall the effects last for 2 posts as it metabolizes quickly within the victims blood stream.

†Mokuton: Daijurin no Jutsu [Wood Element: Great Forest Technique]

A technique that grows out of Shishio's own arm into a series of poles that extend and swarm out at the target. Then, by activating the poles and stimulating them to grow rapidly, they lengthen at high speed and fork into many branches. It is possible to capture the enemy with these branches and at the same time. Shishio can also change the ends into sharp stakes however, it will turn them into countless, sharp, spear-like piercing weapons. This weapon can reach a maximum of 7 meters and can branch out into a total of 14 close knit poles. This technique can be bested by Katon techniques of a of medium or greater strength.

The Kanabo swung forth again, crushing the Senju's branches as they were forming. Unfortunately, he was unprepared for the bombs that struck him; a single involuntary gasp was all it took for the poison to enter his system, as he turned to spot Saigo. His eyes widened just a fraction, and he spoke in a hoarse whisper, made worse by the burning sensation in his throat. "You. Traitor. Psychopath. I'll enjoy turning you in, after I beat you to a pulp." He began to form the handseals; he was having some trouble focusing, but he still managed to complete the jutsu. He darted to the side, his legs trembling just a bit from the poison, but he still managed to keep the Senju and Saigo both in front of him, as he backpedalled slowly, with care; any quicker and he'd risk falling on his ass.

"That'll be something to see!"

Saigo taunted as Sarutoru moved, Shishio and Saigo leapt away from each other as the Iwa ninja moved. This not only put some distance between them but if they kept coming at him from two sides he'd hopefully have trouble keeping up after long. The Shishio began forming hand seals as started and arced run toward Sarotoru, the Senju making his arc take him a ways around to the man's side as he came at him. As he finished the seals, five wooden objects burst from the ground as they launched themselves at the Iwa ninja. Once out of the ground and arcing through the air it was clear they were sparrows, five in total heading at the man.

Saigo took the pincer route again, going into an arcing path along the other man's side. Reaching into the pouch on his belt, Saigo pulled out a kunai and an explosive tag, tying the two items together before he hurled at the Iwa nin, aiming for it to land in the area behind him so he Could detonate it and launch the man forward.

†Mokuton • Moku Suzume no Jutus [Wood Release • Wood Sparrow Technique]

Shishio will form the seals and gather his chakra as usual. With the necessary done, five sparrows made of wood will launch themselves out at the opponent. Unlike his other wood beasts, these birds aren't based around the Moku Bunshin technique these merely resemble birds made of solid wood. This is done primarily for two reasons; aerodynamic shape and to fool the enemy. Being made of wood these birds aren't sharp and can only pelt the enemy like they're being hit with with a strength of 3. These sparrows are easily destroyed by Katon techniques or anyone with something capable of destroying them. They can fly a total of 3 meters before breaking apart.

One of Sarutoru's fists jerked towards Saigo, and the seal there began to glow slightly; after a moment, a potent explosive forced itself from his palm. The blast shot towards Saigo with surprising speed, and he gave a slight grin, just as the sparrows crashed into him. Each one shredded his outfit slightly, and began to draw forth blood, but the shinobi barely even seemed to register this. The explosion, if it worked properly, should've sent the kunai back towards Saigo, forcing it to blow as well. "Don't underestimate me, traitor. I'm not as weak as you think."

†Baku Fuin: Jiraiken [Explosion Seal: Landmine Fist]

Prerequisite: †Baku Fuin: Baasuto [Explosion Seal: Burst]
Utilizing the Baku Fuin, Ujieru will focus his chakra into the seal for 1/2 a post. This will create a blast equal to three exploding tags in strength. This blast is directed outward, making it effective when combined with his physical strikes. Due to the directionality of the blast, the user minimizes any potential repercussions, such as being struck by resultant debris and even recoil appears to be completely negated.

Saigo quickly went into a dive roll before he impacted into a rock, his back against the out cropping rock that provided some covered against the Iwa ninja's attack. The only problem was that Saigo hadn't fully completed his roll as his legs were dangling down across his body as he looked up, his shoulders resting against the ground. He'd been stopped mid roll and was basically upside down.

"Heh, there it is. That technique would be an excellent addition to my squad."

Saigo said to himself as his ears were ringing a bit from the explosion. Righting himself, He glanced over the rock, his tag having gone BOOM with the explosion of the Iwa ninja's. His kunai was nowhere to be seen no, but Saigo had to attempt another move as he formed handseals while behind the rock and leapt up, spewing a cloud of purple smoke at the Iwa ninja.

Meanwhile the Senju reached behind him and grabbed his Makiboshi before loosing them at the Iwa ninja, hoping to little the area around Sarutoru with the little spikes as well as have them cut into him. Either way, after he threw the Makiboshi, Shishio back flipped a few times before he leapt up on a nearby rock to get a better view from outside the cloud to ensure the man wouldn't get away.

†Shouki [Miasma]

Prerequisite: Shouki Joutai Ni
Using Shouki Joutai Ni, Saigo will vomit up a large cloud of his noxious poison. The cloud has a 6 meter diameter and if inhaled will cause all the effects of Shouki Joutai Ni. This poison cloud can also be used as cover for either escaping or covering up Saigo's movements. This cloud will disperse after two posts or can be blow away with a Fuuton jutsu.

An improved version of the Shouki Joutai Ichi, Saigo developed this one to be used through a jutsu. A noxious gas, this Miasma induces severe nausea in the targets causing them to have trouble concentrating on the battle when they're too busy trying to keep from vomiting profusely from Vertigo. Systems of Vertigo will remain present in the target until 3 posts later when the target will literally vomit up the poison as a black mucus like substance.

"I'll die before I join you, traitor." He was already leaping backwards, only for one of the sharp caltrops to catch in his shoe. A curse escaped the shinobi's mouth, but he continued backpedalling, swinging his Kanabo at the ground and knocking quite a few of them aside. The smoke was beginning to expand outward, but he'd managed to keep his distance from it so far. He was clearly outnumbered and outmatched here, but all he needed was to get back to the village, and he could call for reinforcements. Saigo was strong, but he had made a bad decision by coming this close to Iwagakure.

[Tsedas]

Forming his hands together, Shishio performed an act that would be most useful. He relayed his sight to Saigo via the seal on his brain. Now that he had 'line of sight' again, Saigo was off, rushing toward the man through the cloud. Performing a series of handseals, before reaching the edge of the gas.

"I never said you'd be joining me willingly."

Saigo quipped before bursting from the cloud. Once Saigo was clear of the cloud, Shishio began giving chase while closing his distance to them some what. As Saigo approached the other man he decided to test his defense of genjutsu, speaking out in a loud clear voice.

"ZA WARUDO!"

It wasn't the strongest genjutsu tech in the world, but it would hopefully slow him down a touch as he got closer to him.

†Sakasa [Inversion]
D rank Genjutsu
An audio triggered illusion type genjutsu, Manza will form the seals needed then shout "Za Warudo!" which causes the the targets view to invert its color spectrum. Black becomes white and so on. This jutsu can be disorienting more than anything, but easily recognizable as an illusion and can be kai'd out of quickly. If not Kai'd out of it will last for two posts.

†Shouhei Fuuin no Jutsu [Slave Seal Technique]
C-rank Fuuinjutsu
Using the seal in their brains, Shishio can send mental transmissions using one of their five senses to Saigo. He must be within range of Saigo's Slave to Avarice master seal. This justu uses the Slave to Avarice seal placed upon Shishio's brain. This jutsu lasts one post and requires a handseal to be maintained while in use.

Sarutoru's reaction was almost immediate, as he shut his eyes, and placed his hands in front of him. He knew the way genjutsu worked, by and large; this didn't seem like any sort of effect a ninjutsu could've managed. He murmured the word "Kai" under his breath, opening his eyes just in time to spot Saigo closing in. He formed another handseal, a cloud of smoke forming in a single instant, and dissipating in another; still more than enough time for him to end up 30 feet away, glaring at Saigo, and forming still more handseals. "I would've thought the fabled Takamori Saigo would have lived up to the legends a bit more."

As Sarutoru vanished and reappeared, he attempted to taunt Saigo. Smiling, Saigo made a handseal and vanished in a flurry of dust and rocks.

"Not my fault you're running from my like a puss, I would've thought a defender of Iwagakure would put up more of a challenge. What's wrong? Too scared to get close to me?"

Saigo's voice called from behind Sarotoru, or rather back and to the side as he essentially used the flicker to go past him along side. Standing a mere two feet behind the village ninja as the missing ninja dislocated one of his arms and shot it out, aiming for Sarutoru's head. Shishio continued his run to catch up to the pair while this went on.

OOC: Saigo is to Sarutoru's left, essentially having used flicker to travel past him since he can't go through him.

Prerequisites: Character must have surgery/body modification including in their history
Nan Kaizou is a Ninjutsu technique that allows a ninja to make their body very malleable. It was originally developed for spying activities. This technique can be done after surgery and actual body modification. When used the ninja can stretch and twist their body at any angle, allowing them to surprise their opponent.

A hand clamped onto Sarutoru's head, and he began to write slowly, grimacing. He knew what was about to come; the nukenin's fuuinjutsu was infamous around Iwagakure. But he wasn't going to go down without a fight. He refused to let it end this easily. His body twisted, and both of his palms shot out towards Saigo, as he spat out an insult. "Running? I was just buying time so I could do this." Instantly, an explosion ripped forth from his hands, prepared to blast Saigo to pieces, if he didn't do something about it.

†Baku Fuin: Hadouken [Explosion Seal: Wave Motion Fist]

Utilizing the Baku Fuin, Ujieru focuses for 3/4th of a post before releasing a large blast from both his palms. This blast is equal to five exploding tags in strength and is directed outward, making it effective when countering Taijutsu users or certain jutsu. Due to the directionality of the blast, the user minimizes any potential repercussions, such as being struck by resultant debris and even recoil appears greatly diminished.

OOC: remember this part from the mission app?

Other: Attempting to capture Sarutoru Ujieru using Saigo's Mind Control Fuuin. Once he touches his head it's over, the seal will start transferring. Additionally, the ten post application time was to keep the jutsu from being used at random, once the seal starts applying the mission can fade to black and be over to avoid the ten posts of "he applies the seal" one liners back and forth.

OOC: Actually you didn't give me many options on MSN, it was just "Make Saigo stop him" or "make Shishio stop him". You gave me two options that resulted in teh same outcome, kind of like "Heads I win, tails you lose."


Saigo felt his hand clamp down on the man's head and he tightened his grip like a vice while transferring the seal. Focusing his chakra, he kept himself at the ready for whatever the man might attempt. And when he spoke and spun around, Saigo merely ran in a tight circle to stay behind him. Being faster then Sarutoru and stronger, Saigo could easily stick behind him.

Once the explosion blasted outward, Saigo made a punch towards Ujieru's kidneys. He was going to have to render him useless for the time being while the seal was being put in place. Saigo didn't pay the fact he was going to put the hurt onto his new slave any mind, he could repair the damage later. After all he was a doctor.

While this was going on Shishio used handseals and vanished in a haze of dust and dirt before appearing near the two men. After reappearing he made his way toward Sarutoru, performing various handseals as he did so. Holding his hand out, a series of poles extended toward Sarutoru. Once they reached him they would wrap around him, holding him in place while Saigo applied his seal.

Sarutoru was brought to his knees by the strike to his kidneys, giving a groan of pain. His back was on fire, and now he had various branches wrapped around him. He could already feel Saigo's jutsu going to work, transferring the seal onto his skull. His thoughts were beginning to grow hazy, as he lurched forward. There wasn't really much he could do to stop Saigo, now....
