True Strength
Clothing/Accessories Ganjou is simple when it comes to clothing. He doesn't like to stand out and is usually seen wearing a large black kimono over his tightly worn white loin cloth. This in turn is strapped and tied together by a long black sash. For footwear, he wears two tightly fastened sandals that he has proudly maintained in decent shape for the past two years. On top of this, he also totes around a few pouches and weapon straps for his shinobi gear. He has assembled these in the most easy reachable places. Physical Features Ganjou is well built and in good shape for his structure. He has a white skin tone and has numerous scars over his body; exactly two scars on his left palm, a long lash mark trailing his right arm, and a deep gash in his left thigh that never went away. He remembers each scar perfectly and can usually boast a long story about how he got each one. However, the biggest trademark and noticeable feature is his missing right eye. He refuses to tell anything about that story and covers it up nicely with a snug black patch. He detests talking about it, but this doesn't keep people from asking. Forehead Protector Ganjou proudly wraps his forehead protector around his leg or arm. The scratch goes right down the middle as is customary for missing nin. He takes minimal pride in his background, but even more satisfaction in knowing that he left that hell hole.
Appearance
Personality Ganjou loves to fight. In fact, saying this is an understatement. His whole life revolves around battle. His work, his goals, his past, and his future is the way of the sword. Killing is his passion. If you don't give him a reason, he will find one. He is as to say... the bully. He is a cutthroat and he enjoys it. This is his life and he is proud of it. He is a very proud person, even arrogant. He is a defined killer, but don't get this confused with insanity. Saying such will get you killed. He doesn't kill because he gets a thrill from seeing others in pain or because he gets some weird sexual drive from torture. On the contrary, he only resorts to torture when he has to. He kills because this is 'the way of the blade.' Without killing he would be nothing. Nothing but a worthless ronin. This is his existence and he lives his fullest by it. His ambitions only go as far as the tip of his sword as to say. In fact Ganjou has very few ambitions in life... they aren't ambitious at all. He doesn't care or give two cents about his life in general. He hates it and this isn't in the emo sense. He just wants to die the proper way a shinobi should die. In BATTLE... with countless enemies and with nothing, but your sword in hand. He wants to go out a legend and with this small goal intact, he is always the first one to swing the sword. He's belligerent and aggressive. If you cross him, he'll be quick to accept the challenge. This ambition is the underlining string to his bravery and audacity in battle. The second ambition is more selfish. He wants to jab his sword into something big. And I mean BIG. The more famous, the better. He wants a name for himself and wholeheartedly believes that killing the top shinobi is the quickest way to do so. He has no qualms about killing and hates taking the long route. If there is a short cut, Ganjou is the one to take it. For these reasons, he can be rather brash, offensive, and abrupt. All in all, battle fuels him. If he isn't battling, he's looking for one. Sometimes the greatest fun is the pursuit. Ganjou looks for any reasons to fight, but there are a few topics that will just set him off. This ranges from Genjutsu, Puppeteers, Justice, Peace, and any other bs affiliated. He doesn't tolerate ignorance and if he has a problem with you, he wont hold it back. Most of his partners find him irritating and hard to control. He's a loose cannon with too much to say... especially in a battle. On the field, Ganjou likes to fight up close. Its traditional and the most dangerous. In his battle, everything is open game. Fighting dirty isn't dishonorable as long as he gets the job done. Throwing dirt, taking hostages or kicking your opponent while he's down is just Ganjou's way of complimenting your skills. All this aside, Ganjou still has morals. These are small... but they are still there. He doesn't enjoy killing helpless and he detests killing something not worth the time. This doesn't mean that he wont do it... he just prefers killing other things.
The Kichigai is a sleek and well crafted katana that Ganjou has had since his father passing. It is his birthright and way of life. The handle is custom made with gold laces that wrap around an obsidian looking handle. The blade is made of complete steel and reaches 3 meters long. Besides these normal functions, the blade is meant to surprise and destroy. It is infused with special chakra to bolster its durability and increase its striking power against other weapons. He keeps this sheathed and strapped to his back.

History Ganjou killed his first human when he was six. It was... his duty. Hundreds of students every year are trained in the arts of the shinobi. They are put to the test and challenged with everyday dangers. Mistakes could mean death and sympathy could prove fatal. These student were given a living god and forced to bow. This was the world that Ganjou grew up in. He wasn't any different and he wasn't unusual. He grew and he adapted. He followed the crowd and he became immersed with their life style. This was a life of kill or be killed. As a child, he was instructed in the way of the sword. He was taught the most efficient way to kill a man and was given much appraisal for his deeds. For failure he was punished, for success he was glorified. Killing soon became rewarded and showing sympathy became punished. Its ironic, but this was the life of a ninja. It was these core values that began to define young Ganjou. At an early age he was taught to revere and respect the kage as a god. A living and walking god that was even more skilled at killing than the rest of them. It was a certain system and procedure to create the best shinobi. The perfect killer. Genjou was far from perfect, but he was good. He quickly climbed the ranks of the shinobi and was rewarded handsomely. His father, his neighbors, his teachers, his god, and most dearest loved ones told him that everything he did was right. Killing was right. It was justified. It was these foundations that would create Ganjou and it was only when everything began to tilt, his life turned to shambles. When he had a choice, he killed. Even when it wasn't necessary. Why? Because he was taught and told that this was the right way. It was the surest way. Perhaps he became too good with what he did. Perhaps he became too dedicated, too motivated, or even too involved with his job. His murder was justified and in essence, his whole way of life had been justified. Was this a lie? Sunagakure refused his admittance as a Jounin. They called him too ruthless and temper metal. They soon scolded him for killing. Soon they even enacted orders to install killing restraints. All those that had backed him were now turning their head. Even his father regarded him as a monster. He had only done exactly what they taught him. He had killed. This was the beginning of his descent. Everything he had been taught was being taken away. The Kage was a lie. It wasn't long before Ganjou began developing doubts about his "god." He soon became oddly possessive over the matter and began to distrust others. He had always been short fused, but he was now becoming more and more defensive. He was boastful, yet hurt over the fact of not receiving Jounin. Soon even this truth in life became more and more distant. His personality was just not Jounin material. Nothing seemed real to Ganjou any more, and the young teenager was confused with his life. To add to this conflict of feelings, his father passed away and left a deep unanswered question to the family household of the Shinsei. These were deep questions that he would take to the grave. So many truths that would never be answered. Soon Ganjou came to know only one truth. His sword. Life was fragile and with every murder and atrocity that he had committed, he witnessed the first hand experience of how short life really was. The truth of humanity was fleeting and a single human could die in an instant. Only one thing was certain in this world... and that was death. Nothing could escape it. This thought frightened him at first, but then it soon became him. His life became dictated by this truth. He turned and leaned back to the oldest crutch that the school had taught him. Kill or be killed. This was his new life. It wasn't a life for the Kage, Sunagakure, his family, or his father. He hated each one for their lies and contradictions. Leaving the village was no hard choice. With Killing restraints, he had no truth or life. He had to leave. Ganjou took one last mission in Sunagakures name, killed his target and quickly carved a scratch into his forehead protector. This was the end of his old life and the beginning of a new. Without the title of special jounin or the weight of a living god on his shoulders, he changed. He did missions only for himself and his sword. This was his existence and he soon did what he always did. He killed.

Osae no Jutsu
(Weight Style)

This particular style is a sub element pioneered by the Shinsei household in Sunagakure. With the research of the jutsu never complete, much of its research died with Ganjou’s father. Ganjou has pioneered this style into his own work before and after leaving the village.

This pseudo element chiefly requires and relies on two things. The Doton affinity and Ganjou’s great strength. It uses doton to give the fundamentals of weight, but the sole basis spawns from the users own strength. Basically the more stronger the user, the more powerful the weight element.

The force of the weight is generally the embodiment of the users own strength stat and can only be used within 5 meters of the user. If it is attempted to be used from a distance, it becomes Ninjutsu and Strength/2.

As all elements have a weakness, weight is completely ineffective against raiton. It cannot impede or hinder raiton in any way as this is not able to recognize weight. The second weakness is STRENGTH.
Combat Styles:

Bushido [The Way of the Warrior]
This style relies on Ganjou's strength and aggressive nature to overpower his opponents. The closer he is, the stronger he is and this form of taijutsu is meant to keep your enemies close while never allowing for them to escape afterwards.

TaijutsuShow

Risuto Joumae [Wrist Locks]
D-Rank Taijutsu
By training the strength in the joints of his wrists, Ganjou is able to use and balance his sword effectively with almost the same effectiveness as his hands.

Subeta Mudra [Sword Seals]
D-Rank Taijutsu
As Ganjou is always utilizing his sword in combat, this is the practice of rolling your sword handle effectively onto the wrists and still fighting effectively. This allows for him to do quick seals while in close and to quickly coordinate between the two.

Shuuketsu Seido [Close Precision]
C-Rank Taijutsu
Once Ganjou has gotten close, this form of taijutsu will utilize his skills to REMAIN close. This can be a problem and dismal if they are faster, but with his skills, he is able to remain constantly swinging at his opponent while still remaining near and anticipating their retreat.

Katai Joumae [Leg Fastening]
C-Rank Taijutsu
This is the taijutsu ability of remaining in control. Many users will work to impede close combat by tampering with his movement such as trying to trip him, utilizing fuuton, and other means. This is the simple ability of not losing composure or falling while their opponents try to tweak his speed.
