Company by the lake

A bright moon shown down through the thin fog. The lake reflected the light back up seeming to brighten the under parts of the leave on the trees around the lake. Small bugs flew over the water, feeding the active nocturnal fish the stocked the lake. Akki watched as a fish jumped out of the water to catch their meal. Ringlets of water reverberated across lake as the fish re entered the water. The wind picked up and blew leaves from the trees to the water. Akki's dark purple eyes followed the leave as the floated toward the middle of the lake.
The dark purple clad ninja sat with her knees to her chest with her arms wrapped around them. Her feet were crossed at the angle and her chin rested atop her knees. Her eye lids slipped close as she slipped into her thoughts. Where she was from, what was her goals, why was she still stuck in this rank. She wanted more than she had. She wanted the seven swordsmen to induct her into their ranks. So much want in the girl that sat like a stone statue by the lake. Her eyes slid open slowly and a breath of air was released in a slow sigh.
